The place is typically understaffed and beds don't always have machines so it's a bit slow to complete your donation. If you're in a hurry or pressed for time you'll want to plan your donation better, you won't get in and out within an hour. That being said I've had no issues with the staff, they're always the best.

The front desk girl was nice. But this place is wildly incompetent. There's an 80% chance you will waste your time coming to CSL plasma and a 20% chance you will get paid . It's not worth the head ache. I just wasted 2 hours of my time to be told I couldn't donate because I had my last name legally changed. If you wanna donate to help people you better have the patience of a Saint and be able to tolerate a tense environment because staff are miserable with each other always complaining every single time I'm there it's pathetic! And if you wanna get paid you looking at 30 to 40 bucks while an employee get guaranteed 75 every time they donate! Crooked system, terrible business practices! They train their phlebotomists on the job, so it's no wonder they poke so poorly and people always bruising, passing out, etc

Never have enough staff, if you come here expect to be here two or three hours. Plus half the machines are. Super slow. Best advice go somewhere else. Waited two hours so fatr and haven't even got to the back. One lady stated that three ppl left and the worker said good and laughed. Bays are empty, two csl employees are working the back. Not taking anymore ppl back. There's 10 open seats, and a line full of ppl.

Everyday, no accountability for numerous call ins. Always short staffed and almost always never opens up on time due to personal being late. As a platinum donor, the lack of professionalism feels very disrespectful to us and along with very very poor management. Fantastic staff that truly makes you feel special and a great quality team that is constantly watching over others to ensure that they are doing things correctly. The staff are so kind! I was hesitant to come in based on other reviews, but my phone died while I was there and i didn't know how to get back home so they let me use a charger. A woman actually went next door and bought me one! If it's your first time donating, then i suggest bringing food because wait times can be pretty long. Professional and compassionate ??

I've been to this location a few times and they have been AMAZING!! The front desk ladies are very nice and friendly. When you get in line to get your weight, temperature checked and all that they are so nice!! The people working in the back to set up patients for donations are SO friendly and they always answer any questions I may have. 2nd and last time donating here. Both times I wound up with the same person both times left with massive bruises. First time she blew my vein, second time she stuck me it burned horribly, my mom, a nurse said she probably hit nerves, left a horrid bruise. Smh

This place is going downhill fast!! And it is the people the run/own the place not the workers, let's make that clear! The people that run this place in the last 6 months, have got rid of great employees, where unable or unwilling to retain others, and seem to not want to hire more leaving the ones that are there stretched to the maxed! I was told this particular month l would get $150 referral fee l refered my niece my points activity showed 15000 points the entire time she donated when she finished her promotion I wasn't given my $150 because I was told she entered my referral code sooner than her second donation I will contiue to donate but I will never refer anyone again

I have went in 3 days in a row to try to donate early in the morning when they opened as they have advised me that's a great time to come in however there has been an excuse everyday on how they're short staffed yet they have been telling me the best time to come is when they open I have wasted my time 3 days in a row now and still have not been able to donate. This is my second and last time ever stepping foot into that place! After being there 2 and a half hours watching Everyone leave, it's finally my Time Machine kept messing up they had to keep coming. I wish there was zero star review. This place is terrible. Very rude and mean. And always have an attitude. Also tell you a date you can donate then go on that date and say you can't, happens every time. Don't call you back about when you can donate next. And they hang up on you when your not able to donate. Takes forever to get a hold of the nurse. Poorly trained. 2 times I had to wait to donate longer because they took to much blood . I always have to get sticker with a needle multiple times and then some

Another location that steals from its donors. Management lacks leadership. The Individuals who work there are very nice and do a good job. But what they tell you from your initial draw about payments is a lie. CSL PLASMA IS A RACKET AND STEALS FROM ITS DONORS. Also short staffed at all csl locations. First time doner but this place is a disaster. I got there at 1pm did not finish till 7pm.... Nurse Ariel was really rude and belittled me. I was told that if i go to anther csl, the fees i receive will be different doner fees. This place is the worse. I dont know how they get away with operating like this!

New donor, don't need the money, go there to make a difference because it's very close to me. Have 7 in morning time slot, get there at 5 to and wait until a couple minutes after 7 door still locked. I guess they really didn't want my plasma! They got 2 stars because parking was easy and place looked nice. Sad experience

My review was deleted and my ?profile? was red flagged with CSL after I reported waiting for over 4 hours. Listen, there are many other donation centers with the same and even higher payouts. I just don't understand how a review is deleted. Shame on you google. I do not recommend this facility.

Careful this place is an identity theft risk! I'm fine with giving them my ID. But as soon as I asked me for my social security card red flag! If you are not DMV, food stamps, police, or any other government official, I will not give you my social security card that's law!!!

Staff are amazing, that being said, they are NEVER open on time, and because we are ?donors? seems we are treated like chord wood ? no nurse means you can't even wait inside ? never open on time for an hour or better anywhere else would be intolerable?EDIT 1/15/24? since adjusting my schedule to just go a little later in the morning, every donation has gone very smoothly, staff always polite and very attentive

I was obese when i started going and i lost 20 lbs over 6 months, so i had to sit and wait for 35 min to see the nurse even though i was the first one sent to the nurse and there wasnt even a line infront of me. The nurse asked if i ment to lose the weight, i said yes, she said "ok you're good to go" ...35 min wait for a nurse to tell me its ok that im not fat anymore. Didnt have time to donate after that so all of that was for nothing

They changed their donation schedule and didn't update the app so instead of getting $100 like the app said, I got $50. That's absolutely not fair and they should honor what it says in the app. I honestly don't even know if it's worth going back when the company is shady like this. If the pay schedule if changed, it should update on the app right away or they should honor what it says in the app. Ridiculous.

First donation was going well took awhile but all was good until I had to get my physical where the nurse was very rude and gave me a attitude as well as laughed at me. My second donation was going good until the head doctor in the back was giving me a attitude as well and was very rude to me and the other staff most of the staff are friendly but it only takes a few bad apples to ruin the bunch I will not be returning to this facility.

I rode my bike 15 minutes to get there in the cold like an icicle and when I got there they were closed it was roughly around 3:30 and they said they closed at 4:00 bummer other than that it's a great place

Don't ever mention that you're taking suboxone or methadone, because no matter what you're taking it for; pain, trying to get off of stronger pain medicine, anything ? it'll get you permanently deferred. Even if you don't have any history of illicit drug use.

If you live in a shelter or a mission make sure you don't ever go here because they will not help you at any way to save a life for plasma even though they were helpful and professional they lacked humility of humanity I just don't understand because of narrow mind they now have lost a customer that would of been happy to save life by giving. Lackawanna is the cheapest payout of all branches, platinum donors have no rewards for being so committed, NEVER ENOUGH MONEY,ITS NOT WORTH IT,to feel the discomfort to your arms and fingers for year after year, need to pay more,like K.E.D.

The first time was a lengthy process (understandable). The process after is quick Hint to all and any drink a lot of water . Staff is very good. They know there jobs. I recommend 100% this location .

Staff at the Lackawanna site are phenomenal, they make the entire donation process a breeze. From beginning to end they are very friendly but professional at the same time.

Holli the Phlebotomist needs a raise immediately. She was great when I nearly passed out! All staff here are great.

Lackawanna location is pretty good. Staff is friendly and if they don't know something they aren't afraid to find the answer. The environment is relaxed but professional.
