Center manager talked to me like a scammer explaining it was my fault. I got bait and switched. They didn't pay Mr what we agreed on. I've been going 3 weeks, and they said they changed their pay mid week. They didn't put the new comp/pay where the old posters were. Instead, they put them so the poster would be behind your head or waste high.
So far fantastic! I had an issue one time during the process of donating where my BP tanked and they immediately jumped into action; put a mat under my legs, pushed fluid in, monitored my BP for about 20 mins to make sure I was ok and even called me to make sure I was still ok. Of course they are busy and don't have enough staff, but that is everywhere you go these days!
Just went into this place and asked the receptionist to explain the process to me she couldn't so she went and got one of the technicians that draw your blood And she couldn't either she said you'll have to watch a movie. I can't explain it to you. People be careful letting these people stick you in the arm when they don't know the process them selves
Horrible experience. I scheduled my first donation at 10 am. I registered and they told me to wait for the process to begin. I waited for 2 hours. No one ever called me, no one could help me. I do not recommend it. They do not treat you with respect!
Overall CSL doesn't have a great rating, so I was to say the least pretty nervous to try it out. But, I really wanted to start giving plasma because obviously the extra money helps any broke college kid but it's also so cool how it's actually important and relevant to donate. My dad has been giving plasma in my hometown for a few years already and I had actually tried to go to BioLife over two years ago and was deferred for ONE YEAR just because I had piercings and tattoos. I get you have to let your body h
This place is a joke. Almost every one of their phlebotomist does not know what they're doing. They will poke through your vein almost every single time and then talk to you like it's your fault. They are absolutely horrible. Do not go there! Go to BioLife.
Horrible customer service referral program is absolutely a joke brought two people there and because the technicalities did not get my referral, and then my friend was left with blood down his arm and sent out of the center and was refused to be stuck again, which made me lose my referral they made him bring 35th pieces of mail to validate his address Just shut the whole center down before you have be bought out and lose millions
The employee pushed the needle in me when he took it out, causing pain, I asked to see the manager and he laughed and acted overly gay, the manager came to me and acted overly gay and kept saying "meet me at the desk" like I was in trouble or something and told me "he said you may have made discriminatory coments". Update: I went in for my next donation and the manager told me the assistant manager said I made a bunch of racist comments and was permanently deferred from all CSL plasma clinics. I have never
CSL plasma is just a regular old place to donate you a pint of plasma but the worker Dawn is beyond amazing when it comes to sticking you! Her sticks are always accurate and absolutely pain free!
I get sent to medical for lost of weight. As I'm waiting a male nurse is all over the place using profanity and being very unprofessional about getting written up. He is interrupting the services and he stops another nurse from completing his job because he wants to vent his frustrations, I had no problem with waiting, but I have a problem when I have to wait longer because an employee wants to throw a tantrum, this guy has no business being a nurse anywhere and should be terminated immediately.
The lines at this place are so long. The lines come out to the side of the building. If you go to wawa and use their ATM theirs no fee. But if you use the card at any other ATM you'll be charged what the ATM charges plus the card charges its own fee. Which is ridiculous when you gave your blood for that money. They also charge .50 cents to use the card. Half of your money goes to fees . #CSLplasma Their are other locations like bio life that are faster and treat you better. In front of the store is dirty.
I wanted to donate plasma because I always donate blood for Red Cross. I have O- blood which is needed. I walked into the center and I stood there for 20 minutes with no help. Security guard tells me just to stand there and staff just walking past me. I walked out. I'll just donate to Red Cross. It's not about the money it's about helping people who need my type of blood.
ZERO STARS!!! Today, my Niece passed out DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the front door with the security boy and the front desk clerk standing RIGHT THERE! No one knows what happened and I was told by the Manager that "Security patrols the inside" (yet when i pulled up, they were standing at the desk facing the window, with my niece between the building and the truck, IN THE PARKING SPOT, ON HER BACK! I asked, to look at the footage from the camera directly above her, and was told to "Request that from the Police."
I came in on a Thursday. There were very few clients in line to donate. I was excited thinking it should go fast. I was so wrong. Most of the staff went on break or were sent home early and now I'm still waiting to donate plasma 2 hrs. later. I should have went to CSL in Brandon. The Lakeland location doesn't care about the donors
No one ever answers the phone and everyone is rude. It looks like they used to get good reviews, now it is a total POS staffing and company
Terry labotomist in Lakeland CSL plasma is great at sticking with the needle and he checks up on you making sure my experience is going well. Thanks
The first time I came in everything went smoothly. The second time the employees like to play favorites. They told me to rest for 15 min. I leave to ?sit outside.? I had left the building to calm down ?I suffer from anxiety? I'm also autistic. I came back the next day to only Waste my time again because of the same issue the day before. This time I sat The lobby for exactly 15 minutes came back in to see another lady come in FROM OUT SIDE after she waited like I did the other day she got a second chance I d
CSL saves lives but Dawn saves your arm from having to be restuck and saves you from alot of pain! She'll find your vein when no one else can!
The workers never change gloves. There is so much cross contamination going on I am shocked OSHA hasn't shut them down. I see them go from patient to patient same glove never change then try me with the BS.. I shouldn't have 2 tell them to change they gloves smh...
2 Wednesdays in a row opened an hour late due to a meeting and lack of employees. I find this very unprofessional for a donation center
Good thing I don't need this for food, Both arms were blown out today and they could not return my blood. I literally tried in vein to let them know something was wrong But was put off for too long and I lost too much blood. Now I have been deferred for 2 months. I'm not saying I will never go back. But I am saying I will never let them stick me in both arms the same visit. If things get better, I will submit a better review. Update: They are doing a better job of sticking BUT! They also dropped the payout
Had a great experience getting my vitals checked by one of the best techs I've met so far. Dom was kind and very efficient, she was also gentle with the finger prick. I barely felt it at all. As it was only my second donation with this center she walked me to the back and everything. Could not be more satisfied with the people here.
Dee Dee was Good pleasant nice customer service and fast she make you feel at easy an warm welcome. She will be a good person if you can get to her to talk to while you waiting if it your first time
(CSL PLASMA LAKELAND FL ) It's not to bad. But sometimes it takes a very long time to get in back an get done. But love some of the staff members. They are really nice an helpful an friendly. Abigail in (VITALS )is really nice an works hard. Chris in (MEDICAL) is also very nice an helpful if you need something an works hard.. An Rikki on the (DONOR) floor is really nice an she does a great job with sticking people an she also is a hard worker.
Abigail is a very nice lady, she's been nice to me everytime I've come in and had the opportunity to speak with her. She's pretty good at what she does it seems cause she gets the vital screen done fairly quickly and easily, overall she's doing pretty good. - Cameron G.
Walked there today and one of the staff members I forget her name but she was just on it today. Doing the most. I have a small pocket knife on my keys and thinking nothing of it she points it out and says there's no weapons allowed inside the building. I'm like ok sorry.... wasn't even really thinking about it. She then creates a scene really for no reason and tells me she's going to cancel my visit and then gets up and runs to the front as of I was doing something. I literally was minding my own business s
I'm a lil late doing this, I should have did this a few days ago.. but Deedee is the best there she works with you getting you to calm down and give great tips on relaxing. I would always want my vitals done by her!! SHE IS AWESOME
Charlethia Williamson, was very helpful. I had an issue with my card and she helped me quickly and efficiently while still assisting someone else. Also my blood pressure was a little higher than normal and she gave me tips to relax my body. She is very professional and has amazing Customer service.
This place is unprofessional. For being a first time donor they don't explain anything to you they put you in an assembly line and your well on your way. When you are done it took me 30 minutes before finally getting someone to me to disconnect me. They did 8 people after the fact I was done. The second time the tech was complaining about another work being on her phone while she was trying to poke the big needle in my arm and she didn't get it and wrapped my arm and I was out of there didn't even donate th
My experience for being the first time was not bad. I told the girl that I had an appointment and she told me that the appointment is not important, I spent almost 3 hours through the entire process. The only suggestion is that it is better to do it by appointment so you don't have so much waiting in line.
Horrible! They are not affiliated with any CSL online or even the app. Once you get there they will tell you its walk-ins only even if you made an appointment online. You will wait for 2hrs before anyone even sees you. After that you will create a profile, do a vital check, then do a physical before you even start to donate anything (and that's if you even pass all the vitals) be prepared to wait another 3hrs on top of that! Just know they scam you to get there thinking you have an appointment just to get y
The sense of urgency is horrible, the employees move at their own pace, very slow. The lines are always backed up because of only one person on the floor. I don't understand how this place functions. I spend at least 4 hrs to 3hrs a visit
Dominique is so wonderful and makes you feel at home and at peace here. Our world is so crazy right now and we need more caring people like her. Now I can't forget everyone else. I've never had any issues at this place despite being deferred once for an issue getting my blood back to me, but that was my body's fault. Lol. I think you are all doing a great job! And give Dominique a raise! Groceries are expensive ??
I have over 250 donations at this center I have had many mediocre donation experiences for many reasons but the best experience so far has been with Daisy she is an amazing Phleb and her attitude is always great she gives me a smile every time im there and makes my donation experiences amazing!!! Give her a raise!!!
Nat did an awesome job! She made me feel super comfortable as I have a slight uncomfortability with needles and such. She was professional yet asked me how my day was. I appreciate her help.
Been here a few times, I'm actually pretty impressed with the way they carry the building, I can tell everyone works hard. Alexis helped me check my vitals and she was really nice. I'll be back here again
Dom was great at checking me in, she is very friendly. This place has great people working together to get you in and out as smoothly as possible. Always a good atmosphere ??
Christian over at the George Jenkins center in Lakeland is amazing!! His attitude is always great and he never changes it. He's a blessing for all donors. He is also very gentle whenever he sticks u, no pain whatsoever!
came up here two days ago to donate and they tell me i have to bring in "proof of my tattoo? that i got 5 years ago. today i bring in a letter my tattoo artist wrote out for me and they say they can't accept it. that i have to get a receipt. for a tattoo i got FIVE YEARS AGO lmao. i?ve never heard of this
Its a fine place to go but the wait can be really long on the wrong days, best days I've found is Mondays and Thursdays. The staff is very nice, never had a problem with anyone and they look after you if there's an issue with your donation. Great if you need some supplementary income, I've been coming here for awhile 2 times a week. April 2024 update: Policy changes to flip seats faster means they will no longer slow the machines draw to prevent getting sick. Everyone is different and has a maximum toleran
I'll tell my experience from beginning to end. I arrived an hour before opening. There was already a couple of people waiting. By 6:50 There was 20 people in line. The doors didn't open until about 7:20 because they were short staffed at first. They did let us know before hand they were going to take a little longer than normal. Once I got in & stood where new donors are supposed to it took maybe 5-10 minutes before someone told what I needed to do. The security guard did check on me prior to that. The la
My first experience here was when I had decided to do a good deed and drove two people there. I noticed this place needs more professional workers. It looks as if it was run by Preschool children. The security there was good and they were kind. My 2nd visit I decided to give this place a try anyway and my first experience was the same as my 2nd experience. It was Horrible. After a complaint was made about this facility. I went the 3rd time and it was a professional great experience. I tried it a 4th time a
"I had a wonderful experience at CSL Plasma in Lakeland, Florida, thanks to Nat. She was incredibly professional, friendly, and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Her kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. Highly recommend!"
Been using CSL for over a year now. Great opportunity for extra cash and help you focus on your health, all while helping others. Dominique in intake was great.
I'm upset to even give this place one star honestly. The worst experience I ever had with a plasma place. I've been to a couple in Polk County. And this is the absolute worst. I recently just moved to Lakeland and this establishment was the closest to me. I was considered a new donor. Upon my arrival, no-one was at the front desk. Besides two security guards that admitted staff left at 3:00 PM. I waited a hour just to get carded with my ID and social. In total I waited two hours to just get called to the p
My experience was great, great staff by the name of Charlethia Williamson Aka Mrs. DeeDee she very nice and calm with you my pulse shot because of my anxiety and she was patient and calm with me and talked me through it ......She Awsome
Cristian is very professional and a hard worker. Always see him moving and doing his job. He is also a very good stick!
Dom was amazing. Made the entire process comfortable and personal. Asked me how I was doing, etc. Always good coming here no complaints so far.
Most staff are nice and helpful, EXCEPT this one young girl named Abigail. Shes always rude, and unprofessional. Also she doesn't seem to care about the training much as she often causes unnecessary pain when injecting the pop needle. If she ever gets promoted to doing the real big needle, I'm requesting someone else do me instead. Rude, arrogant, and unprofessional.
There are a few workers that are outstanding. Keith, Kikki, Ms Chol, Lisa and Dasiey. There have always taken very good care. I am a hard stick with my veins. When they stick me, I never come out brusied for days. Thank you for your services. I will miss them when I move.
Alexis in vitals check point is the awesomeness person ever sweet caring very knowledgeable to what's going on in the center does everything to the exact T just love love love her she made my experience enjoyable the people that work in the center are the best they really make you feel like they care about you as a person
I loved my visit today Dom was so sweet and patient. she 's always friendly, kind and welcoming. a very sweet person .
Alexis was my record tech. She is very kind and caring. Makes the intake process fast and easy. My favorite tech there.
Im Glad i keep having Alfonso on the donor floor stick my arm. No pain and he always triple checks to make sure the vain is found correctly. Great employee , very energetic and passionate for his job. Management should recognize his hard work, deserves a nice bonus for sure!
Update 3/13/2024: This place is much better now! Yeah it's a sketch area but the people are professional and they really upped their game. The payout here is competitive with other plasma centers here in central FL, about $100 a week. It's also a good location for people who are in the western half of Lakeland or even Plant City. I also want to say that the lines have been moving faster and the floor isn't as uncomfortably cold as some of the other plasma centers. I'm in and out in 2 hours at the most (usua
Always get great service. Employees always nice. At check in Charlethia Williamson is always fast, proficient, and a great attitude. Would recommend to all.
I've been going here for almost a year. Right now it is much better than it was when I started. There is rarely a waiting line. Everything goes quickly. I liked the stuff before, and I do like them now the same way. I think the place got much more efficient so now the blood donation procedure takes about 1 hour 15 min, instead of 3 hours like it was 5-7 months ago.
Worst experience. How you close at 3 pm on a Saturday and tell a new patient that it will take 3-4 hours to be seen when no one was there. Getting told this around 1230 knowing they close at 3 laziness
Great customer service excellent attitude!!! Highly recommend coming to this location!!!??
Go in and sign up to donate plasma Plasma says lives That's why me and my granddaughter does it
Dara is always going above and beyond to help people. She is a great worker and has a lot of urgency to get people in and out as quickly as possible providing outstanding customer service too.
My only complaint is when your trying to flag down a staff member they don't pay as much as attention as they should, my arm is going num and I've been hooked up for an hour and 20 minutes? I would like to stop please!! Not ?oh one more cycle and it's full? no? I want out now and one short fat African American female will shove the whole needle in your arm for no reason, she needs to be fired
Dom is a very kind outgoing good worker always caring and getting her job done I appreciate her and thank you for having her on your team
Went three times......two times they didn't get the stick done properly and deferred me for two months. Waste of time and effort! ??
Dom was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure I was relaxed and at ease you guys needs more like her
My nurse Dee Dee (I believe) was amazing, has great communication skills and made the overall experience amazing if I don't recommend csl I'll definitely recommend her
Apparently nobody don't know how to answer the phone
Decent place but the staff is....colorful. My first visit I had a man screening me start making homophobic comments as if he expected me to agree when I was very clearly wearing a pride hat and carrying a pride wallet, and the second time my screener, who was a woman herself as well, start talking about how women are too emotional to be capable of doing important jobs. Other than those two rather.....interesting conversations though my experience thus far has been pleasant enough.
Charlethia is the greatest person to get vitals checked by. She's sweet compassionate and understanding bout everything when it comes to care for others
Tina is just a bad person. She does not speak at an audible level. She won't slow down her speech so she can be understood. Then when I asker to slowdown she becomes indignant. She sent me to the wrong station.I got here shorty after opening. It is now after 10.00. For all the frustration today, I blame Tina. She is an obstinate person, and she sent me wrong place causing me to do the whole registering twice.
Alexis was very nice during the screening process. Wait times and Lines are much better now.
The wait time is so long. Then they changed the app now u can make appointment but the appointment does not mean nothing and then when I ask a worker about it she was like appointment does not mean nothing. So y allow people make a appointment? Then she proceeded to say it's only 50 it's not that serious. She does not know someone situation. Maybe they really need the money for a emergency. Employees need to watch what they say they r no better then anyone else. If gas prices wasn't so high I would go to bi
Abigail is a great associate to get vital scans by. She's very friendly and helpful when it comes to coming to CSL
Alexis was a very good front screening technician
Went to CSL today as a new donor. Expected to be there all day after reading the reviews lol. Patrice and Ashley checked me in and did my pre screening and they were a hoot! Had me laughing and they were both just so friendly and personable! The whole thing just moved right along. All the staff I came into contact with were nice and knowledgeable. The machines are slower then other places I've donated but all in all great experience. Also was out in just over 3 hours.
The wait getting to the chair can be a bit long at times, but honestly love the staff (especially Keith, Rikki, and Chloe) there. Just make sure you have at least a few hours cleared when you go and that you're not in any rush. You eventually learn the best time to go the days you donate.
Today when I visited CSL Dom was amazing her customer service was on point she was very helpful and kind she overall made it a excellent experience
(DO NOT)!!! Go here.. everytime I have went there's been problems... gotta chase your money... everytime...as well as the debit card they use.. declines purchases (with) money on card and then charges you everytime it's declined...not to mention they left me hooked up to machine for a hour and forty five minutes..( hour) to long...very unprofessional place...there employees are any and everybody..all got attitudes...if line is to long..I experienced this myself... They will move half the line around recepti
This place is on the roll within the past few weeks speeding up honestly and nat treats me well every time screening me and Ms Dana always makes her duty to get my attention and ask of my well being weather she pokes me or not
Got some petty people that work here
Went to donate January 25th. I was done with my saline at 3:18. I didn't get out the building till 3:38. I was waiting to be unhooked for 20 minutes, due too workers not paying attention, they are having personal conversations. I had my hand up they would walk right by me. One notice her coworker just done donating and goes to unhook her immediately. I had said out loud my machine beeped first I had my hand raise and I was skipped. Then turns into an argument I then finally got unhooked she was rushing me o
In here right now, over 9 beds open at the moment the staff rather worry about being social and even grouping up rather then do there jobs. They literally go through a do that says do not enter on it from the donor floor to the testing / waiting area. Allot of groupism among the staff here it's not about the policy's and procedures being followed but allot of the men and woman here ( woman ) mainly from my experience do not treat or talk to you as a human being but talk at you. The lack of professionalism a
My husband Chris goes there twice a week he talks about how friendly everyone is and how they greet and talk to him. The manager Beth is out on the floor often and greets everyone in line to see how they are doing. Chris is happy with the how they get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible.
100/10 recommendation! I don't particularly like when I get my finger prick done, but Alexis really distracted me and made me less anxious when she did it for me! ??
I love this place all of the people are nice. My favorite is Nelly she is good at what she does. But really all of the staff is great. Plus you just lay on a bed for a while and listen to music or watch movies. And the best part you get paid for lazing around.
I'm giving 5 stars based on my experience with Keith he's a hard worker who takes pride in his job and he does it with no hesitation Thanks again Keith aka Superman ??????
Understaffed waiting in line over hr for vitals only 1 person working front never in an out within 1hr an 30 anymore HIRE MIRE STAFF FIR FRONT! REALLY HAS GINE DOWNHILL since first donated in 2020
I love coming here and seeing these wonderful people specially Deedee she goes above and beyond for her people!! Deedee Williams we love you
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
