I am extremely disappointed and deeply disturbed by the treatment I received at this plasma center specifically from an older staff member named Cassandra. I've encountered her on two separate occasions, and both times she was dismissive, rude, and blatantly unprofessional. Today was the final straw. She disrespected me in front of other donors and staff, triggering severe anxiety and making me feel publicly humiliated. It's clear that if you're not part of their inner circle of ?favorites,? you're treated
Not one issue here! "ALL" Staff are very professional. Very funny and they are exceptional at their jobs during my visits. Those that post pictures and negative comments might need to realize, You come to CSL to help people. Some come for their payday. This is a act of Service and not a Obligation. Center has always been efficient and been professional. After three months and many donations they know their job and have always been Relaxed and Chill. I have been to 2 other CSL Locations, this is my go to loc
After my donation the girl wrapped my arm too tight and before I even got to my car I had blood dripping down my arm. I lost a ton of blood and nearly fainted in the waiting room while they wrapped it up again. They acted as if it was no big deal and allowed me to leave the premises even though I felt weak and lightheaded. Thankfully I made it home safely. Proper training is crucial in this line of work. Do better!
I used to be a regular here I would go for supplementary income and to help people via donations of plasma. But now the majority of workers there are rude, it seems like they don't like their job and it shows to everybody, especially Cassandra. People in the health customer service industry should at least be able to fake a positive disposition and treat people with respect, but if you're not a favorite here then you get treated like they don't want you there. Needless to say I won't be donating anymore. On
I started coming here 3 weeks ago. So far so good! Grace was the first person that I talked to. She's very kind and helpful. I stopped by just to get information on plasma donation and next thing I know I'm giving it. Ramon is also great. His contagious sense of humor as well as being highly skilled is positive. Thanks to others here as well.
The staff is very professional The people who do the sticking process always do well. In the front end Rachel is very professional and courteous. I always have a good experience
Had a great experience as a first time donor here. The process was much quicker than I thought it would be and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Grace was very personable and made the questionnaire process smooth and painless. Speaking of painless, the process involves a rather large needle? AJ was super informative and let's just say I was worried for nothing about the poke because she got it in like a PRO and the whole process was a breeze. Highly recommend this location for plasma donation.
I'm worried.2.22.25 10:16 am to 11:15am cameras should be checked. First they put needle in wrong place in know because after a lot of deep digging around in my arm the girl said "Josh it's over here". They laughed, got the vein and the process went ok until the third return and I felt pinching and bubble aroused. The machine then did they already, I was glanced over, then she pushed a button, but after that thick dark blood started oozing out and they removed needle. I still have bruises and all this week
So this is my personal experience. Honestly I had no problem and everyone was polite. Rachel the nurse is amazing and has a really great personality. Grace the manager I think it was was very helpful and made my experience very pleasant. Yes you do have to wait for a while but it's free money basically so for those who are complaining about the wait time what do you expect? so of course the lines are going to be long. My advice is drink plenty of water because the more water you drink the faster your proces
I wish I could give 0 stars They don't open when they are supposed to. They open and close whenever they want. Hours say 8-4 I've gone 9am closed. I've gone 2pm closed. Oh gee once again closed 2 hrs early
Me and my friend were lapsed donors that showed up near the end of the day. Grace helped us through the process faster than I've ever seen and she did it all with a huge smile and while cracking jokes. Thank you for making my experience great Grace!
I have to say the employee Cassandra treats and talks to doners with zero respect... She makes you feel like you're inconveniencing her
Been coming here for 2 months now and every experience is great. Everyone is very well trained. Rona is one of my favorite phlebotomist there. Super gentle when it comes to hooking you up to the machine. 10/10 coming back weekly!
I have been donating plasma for about 2 years now and this is the second donation place I have been. I do like it much more than the other I was at, where it was an hour wait just to get to vitals, and a 3 hour wait for a chair- that was with an appointment! At CSL the longest I've ever waiting was 2 hours total. As for the atmosphere and staff, most are very friendly and I love their energy. Shout outs to Romon, Aiden, Grace, Trey, and Romona whom have been nothing but kind and even know me by name for the
I have completed 24 donations at this location. I have only ever donated at this location and I continue to come here because the staff is awesome. Ramone and Cassandra are awesome when it comes to sticking me and Aj is cool. And the new machines make the donations so much faster. I definitely recommend coming here.
Do not go here unless you want to end up in the hospital. They caused very serious medical issues and my arm got infected up the entire arm. I would not recommend using this plasma donation center. With all the other choices you have in the area there's no reason to put yourself through pain and discomfort. I was never talked to me disrespectful by the employees who work there because they couldn't do their job correctly. They talk right infront of you and say very rude things.
Hahahahahaha, seeing the most recent reviews I hope these clowns realize I was right. I got deferred for questioning why the let the autistic kid screen by himself. Simple question amd got banned. Such a shady company. I can't even go to their other location. Jokes on them, Freedom Plasma pays so much more. CSL is trash. DONORS BEWARE!!!! Be careful here. You will eventually have a bad experience if not immediately. DO NOT contact the CSL Corporate number. They contact the location and you get deferred. Th
Waited 2 hours before them telling me I wasn't in the cue. I worked here about a year ago or less everyone knows me by name yet no one informed me that I was just sitting waiting for no reason. Staff needs to be better and more mature especially upfront.
I love this Center! The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Ramon makes donating painless and ensures that you're comfortable as well as Cassandra. Definitely recommend this place.
Waiting is the biggest problem at this place. There's no telling how long you will be here if you are a new donor. I don't know, in my opinion they are under staffed for the amount of people coming to donate. There needs to be 2 screening workers, 1 for the front, and 1 for doing physicals. The staff is very friendly, it's just the waiting that is horrible.
They have improved, got new people. Wait times aren't as long but keep in mind they can only do a max of 18 or so people at a time due to it being a smaller location The staff now is more friendly and attentive. ***my most recent visit was quick, friendly, less than 2 hrs tops
Have made 50 donations and usually staff is great. But on 11/3/23 at 3:11 pm, a manager there, dark black man with beard and black female younger assistant, were first not attending to the patients waiting. I had arrived at 2 pm and when sitting down to give my donation, did say I needed them to get going because I had to go to work. Again the response by the manager and the young assistant was I should have gotten their earlier but again had ready been there since 2. Problem is a manager has no right to te
Long lines to be expected but, this is ridiculous. The up front staff is incredibly slow, lack of staff as well and they like to chat among each other rather than putting in the effort to get people seen. It's frustrating when there isn't anyone there and you stand in line for 10 minutes for someone to take your vitals. Slow medical staff and up-front staff is unprofessional. Every time I go to medical losing weight or whatever it takes them forever. I do like the back staff; they are always kind. Unfortuna
Knowledge & friendly staff. Miss. Cassandra has always gone the extra mile to make my experience feel more than welcome! Best plasma in my honest opinion.
Came in on Saturday morning and line for vitals was almost out the door, however, when Trey came in for his shift he quickly got the line down and then stepped up to help on the floor. What an asset to the team. Been coming to CSL for quite some time and they are much more efficient than another center I used to go to.
The donor floor gets slower, no help management disappears. Not one steps out to help facilitate the floor. Keep taking new donors when they are short staff. It's time someone steps up and takes charge
I want to help and donate when I can but the time it takes here is ridiculous. Friendly staff but understaffed and slowwwwww. Two people doing all the work and moving as slow as they possibly can. You will stand in line for over an hour MINIMUM before you even start donating. Idk who has that kind of time.
Everyone is always so very nice and calls me by name Today Ramon and A.J.were wonderful as always! And I just want to say that Everyone is Amazing ??
Worst plasma center I been to by far. They are unprofessional and careless . Told me I couldn't come back there cause I was on my phone. I was calling my wife to let her know they was walking pass me when my machine was beeping read for 5 min on low return no one both to help me so yea I need help and because that incident with the phone they said I wasn't able to come back. They should've had someone stick me better
CSL Plasma is unparalleled in their dedication to providing exceptional service. Each visit is marked by their team?s unwavering patience and kindness, making every donor feel valued and comfortable. Their staff is truly outstanding, standing out as the best among all medical facilities I've encountered. The professionalism and care exhibited here are simply unmatched, making CSL Plasma the obvious choice for plasma donation. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!
Very rude staff when you asking them a question. Staff should be insulting donors intelligence when they know the screening process is fixed. That issue should be exposed and talked about.
Definitely the best place to give plasma. The entire staff makes you feel like your family. Huge thanks to Desire, Casandra, and Eastbay CSL plasma entire staff. You make the donating plasma process a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work. ????????????
Miss Cassandra and dondtrell or something are probably one of the best at the E bay largo location The medical screener (idk her name) but she is also pretty awesome Only issue is donating takes forever and a day due to both staffing issues and the ones who are working taking forever or having attitudes but other than that the majority is good
Horrible customer service in the bay area. Some of the women have real bad attitudes. Only reason why I transfer to this location is because it was a closer drive. But after today visit, I'm not impressed, this place got a real negative vibe.
Best most down to earth and caring staff there is! I feel welcomed here, and enjoy the conversations and fun atmosphere the staff create! Can't say enough about what good people they all are!
Very nice staff. When busy they are fast. Experienced nothing but good vibes there thank you csl !!
Clean place and friendly professional staff that are very helpful. I've been coming here for a good while now that they know me by name now lol.
Everyone at this place except the doctor was courteous, helpful, and professional. The doctor was rude and unprofessional. He had no knowledge of common medications and refused to listen regarding medical issues. He just read from a screen and was not even reading about the correct information. I have not been this angry with a doctor in a long time. Act professional when you are working.
ONJA WAS VERY QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL DEFINITELY SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT HER JOB AND TAKES PRIDE IN HER WORK I WILL DEFINITELY BE BE AND REFER MORE FRIENDS AND FAMILY
I went to donate for my first time in May, and at the time I had a cast on my left arm. They told me I needed to come back when it's healed and bring with me a doctor's note proving that it was healed. I came back a month later, when the cast came off- without a drs note- and was told they wouldn't take me without the note proving that it was healed. THEN in August I went back, mind you it was 4 months later and I am definitely healed by then, and for some reason they let me donate. I come in on my 3rd tim
Most of the staff are very nice and professional. The clinic is very clean and I found the wait time reasonable. No problem with payment, it's available before you can get to the store for milk and ice cream ??
Spent 4 hours, no exaggeration, as a first time donor at this location. I understand 2, but 4!! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and the location feels mismanaged. A few bad attitudes I also came across. Just an odd and underwhelming first impression today. Has the same feel as walking into a DMV?.
Guy with glasses moves slow as a snail get faster and more efficient employees. I spent double the time in that chair and by the time I was done almost 3 people were already done in the chair next to me. Will not be returning
This is one of the BEST Plasma donations centers I've EVER been too. The staff is amazingly friendly and they remember all their regulars..BY name. John, hands down, will give you the best stick you've experienced, put it to the test. If you're new to donating or a little hesitant to try, this is the place to go!! Be prepared to laugh, because they'll leave you smiling ?? ??
I've been here about 5 times now. Only hada slight hiccup when I was trying to explain my allergy. But ever since then I've had no problems. Jakira has stuck me the past 3 times now, and I can honestly say she's the best at it. It's very smooth and slight. Would definitely recommend this place. Better than the others around
I've been coming to CSL since it had 1st opened in 2015. To be honest both locations has good employees but by far the largo location has beat it by the hair on their chinny chin chin. Lol plus, they are quick than the original 1 in p.park.
if I could give this place zero stars I would, left there tonight, after being insulted by a supervisor, because the machine kept malfunctioning, I literally was told I wasn't hydrated, when I was, as if he was with me all day, to attest to that. their machines are very old, and outdated, and when one of them malfunctions they blame the donor, rather than being apologetic. they don't set donors up to the machines in the order that they come on the floor, like all other centers do. the phlebotomists lack
Donated at CSL plasma today. I was helped by Nick today. He was very helpful with everything from start to finish. He was very helpful and patient with me. Thank you to all of CSL plasma staff. Nick was awesome and very professional. Will definitely recommend CSL plasma to everyone.
Always professional and kind. They've been very kind to me and been very accommodating since I can only use one arm. The facility is also very clean. The staff is fantastic! Would definitely recommend.
They are so ruined at this place. One person says one thing the next person say a total different thing. They can't keep there story straight and they play Doctor. I have donate long time ago and never been treated this unprofessional before. I guess they really donate want people's help acting the way there staff is. I donate once at this place and they couldn't even put a needle in right. I couldn't come back to donate due to my arm having a hemorrhage where they put the needle in. Due to them not putting
Turned away due to a minor scrape. What a waste of my time.
Only came here once. People rush the door and cut the line. Things are not the way the nurses made them seem. NONE OF THE PHLEBOTOMISTS CARED They all just wanted the day over and didn't care about anyone's medical history. It was 10 A.M. ?! If you don't like your job why did you go to school and bother working here? NEVER EVER TRUST THIS PLACE God be with those that do
Very friendly place but I have to give Nick a shout. Very friendly and professional!! I don't want to visit othe Csl for loss of that friendly introduction?? pro to the max!! Reception/screening ask for Nick!!!
The most organized and efficient CSL I have been to. They are always friendly and knowledgeable.
Long waits to be expected, but this is the best plasma center around as far as the amount they pay you. Downside? The employees. Only one person in the months of going here is able to place a line properly. It's not dehydration, it's not small rolling veins, it's the staff. Everyone I've chatted with, or gone with, has had the exact same experience. This can effect your payment, ability to come back, and it's painful.
I have been giving Plasma for over 25 years now and have visited many Plasma Donation Centers throughout this time. I have been visiting this specific CSL Donation Center (Largo, FL) since it opened just over a year ago. During this time I have received professional attention, and most of all a great experience. The staff is very friendly and makes me feel like I am part of the CSL Family. They all call me by my first name, making me feel good about my dedication to donating my plasma at this location
Don't believe there add online for $800 for new donors. Their add says $800 for first month but they will pay you $100 for each donation for your first 5 donations within a 30day period. So only expect $500. Here's a picture of there website saying $700 they change it since three weeks ago but it still lies only expect $500 for your first month.
I would not recommend this place. I went there 4 times and each time they say I had a bruise where the needle would go. I did at first and gave it 2 months to heal and they still said it was there when it wasn't and they wanted proof of lab work. You also have to answer questions and wait in line for a chair which could be an hour or more. I recommend biolife you make an appt and you are in and out.
Mrs Cassandra is awesome I love her energy and spirits?. She always makes me feel SPECIAL ???? and always welcomed that's why I keep coming back ?. The team here rocks keep it up guys
There's no point in scheduling an appointment because there's no place to check in without waiting 2 hours in line. After 15 minutes realized there was no way i was going to be seen before they closed and left.
I'm here right now and I must say Jack is awesome awesome awesome!!!....he has top of the line customer service, definitely with put a smile on your face he deserves plenty of bonuses.
Don't come here ! Ms grace is very unprofessional for no reason ! You wanna be happy coming here, not treated poorly like trash . After all we are the ones donating . Everyone else is great ??
My only complaint is they play their music way too loud there. When I asked for somebody to turn it down, his response was "good luck". I had to ask 2 more times before someone finally said something out loud to the guy controlling the music to "turn the music down there has been a complaint" making me feel like I was wrong in my request. Then they didn't even turn down the music enough to make a difference. Not a positive donating experience even though CSL Plasma wants it to be...
Absolutely the best place to to donate plasma!! The staff is super friendly , professional and knowledgeable and the facility is kept super clean. I recommend this location to everyone!!
New machines I was in and out in 45 minutes Ariana is the fastest I ever seen.
Aiden is by far my favorite person very gentle and made me very comfortable the other staff is decent as well
I truly love this facility I have been donating for over 7yrs now and I must say that the center large 360 has been an most great experience not only are the employees are very professional but they are also courtes and attentive the supervisor Trey is more then an great boss but also jumps in and work besides his staff when the going is thick and filled with donors so I give them and 10+ A+
I love the staff's attitude and spirit for, they enjoy their work environment and it makes coming in a pleasure.
Save yourself the misery, go anywhere else. Horrible customer service. The first time I went, the card they issued did not work, the second time they couldn't start the IV?I kept going to this location because they said this was the one I had to use because of my address. Just save yourself the headache and go to another plasma location if you're forced to go to the largo spot, it's not worth the headache.
The staff is very welcoming professional helpful and do an excellent job of taking care of us I want to thank each and every one you ??????
I have been donating for a long time and this is by far the worst location I have ever been to. One phlebotomist is very aggressive and unprofessional. The managers need to pay attention.
Thank you AJ and Mikayla for always being professional and respectful during my visits???? sincerely lil veins
TIA on the donor floor was very professional and was a great phlebotomist on my first donation. Everyone was very friendly, no problems at all. Was a return donor from previously going and had a great experience.
Are you kidding. Starting with KING JOHN the name alone should end it. If not the new Supv hasn't missed a vein in 10 years. Anyone who has met him Loves him. Don't play. Get it done. New So Cal. Boss amazing. They smile they have fun and they collect more plasma than anywhere. If Desi's face ain't looking at me from the wall. They let her show up in person. And with Stabitha and Sharky it would be enough until Crystal tells you she's going home to walk her rabbit.....I wait in line to donate here. I hear t
This place is a joke would strongly recommend never coming here they threw me out after 3 hours of waiting becuase I had my firearm I asked where the signs were located the said at the bottom of the window I don't look down when I walk I didn't notice the sign asked if I could take my weapon to the truxk and come back and they told me I wasn't allowed back in if a place like this has that type of rule they should post the signage where people can't over look it
Helping others who need plasma is a wonderful thing, unfortunately at CSL plasma largo or Pinellas Park they hire discouteous and "nice nasty" staff. Don't ask them any questions because you might be bullied or referred away. To them, you need money so you're at their mercy. I've already told management about this issue and you can find this abhorrent behavior at both locations. Good news is you are not treated in this manner at their plasma competition offices. Must be a management problem because this ha
I read the reviews and did not believe them.... I have been there several times ...the rudest staff members ,poorly trained very unprofessional... once they missed my vain and then started yelling derogatory names directed at me ... not sure if management is the problem or CSL is the problem... Very unpleasant experiences .
Ramon has one of the best sticks and a very down to earth welcoming personality, I will definitely be coming back.
I don't have all day to explain all the issues at this location. It's ridiculous. The only exception is the nurse that does the physical. Stay away, far away.
GRACE, a staff member at CSL went above and beyond to help me on my first visit, she is a definite asset to your company and obviously knows her stuff, much thanks to her for all her help.
Very nice staff and a good experience each time I donate
Switched to this center earlier this month. Not as big as Pinellas and they have a few things to work out (free wi-fi would be nice) and are not open as long during the day; hoping these will change as time goes on
Great employees, friendly atmosphere.
If you move to an address that they have blacklisted, they will ban you from donating, regardless of what your actual living situation is. This is "following the letter of the law" in the most ridiculous way possible, and it's honest people who genuinely need the extra income who end up hurt by it.
This place is an embarrassment to health care professionals everywhere. Please don't pass judgement on donating based on their horrible staff. Try somewhere else. God only knows why someone hasn't shut them down. They should seriously be ashamed of themselves.
I absolutely Love the professional courtesy I receive every time from employees such as, Nick Wolfe & Makayla are the best there hands down!
Never been here, was just " shopping " around. Based on reviews I've read, seems like customer service comes second to personal conversation. Will pass and keep shopping with my O negative self
Very Professional, courteous and patient with all of my questions. If your looking for a professional and wonderful place to donate plasma....this is it
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
