I waited 2.5 hours total to donate on two separate occasions today, trying to come at a less busy time, and I didn't even make it to the donor floor before getting too frustrated at wasting my time. The last few times I've been in there has been one person doing check in for vitals. Either you need to hire more people, or not be open on saturdays if you don't have enough staff. The staff and phlebotomists are great and do a wonderful job but the check in is ridiculous.
This past Friday, after waiting 3 hours we were told that the electricity had gone out and the computers down. Anyone who didn't make it to a bed were told to leave without pay. Anyone in that facility who has a number should have been compensated especially after waiting 3 hours without even making to the doctor. I have to seriously wonder if it was a true electric outage. Business on both sides of geyer springs had electricity and so did the business in the same strip mall. Right before leaving, an emplo
It's an easy way to supplement your income. And help others in the process
This plasma center is so unprofessional you can't tell the mangers from the employees they have the security guard working on the floor with without any protection on telling donors what to do the line is ridiculous on the wait but they will stop the line just to go get a smoke break. I've been in line for an hour in half so far today. In they only have one person screening in the security is in the booth with the screener talking to her and if I am not mistaken she is a manger my legs hurt and I am tired o
After what happened and seeing what's going on I won't be returning and going home I don't care about the new donors fee! They don't change gloves see them touch their hair and stick people, they laughing and goofing off while people are waiting in line for over 2 hours....as I'm leaving I heard a couple ask if this lady at Popeyes had a fast pass bc she cut in front of everyone....she said yeah nasty attitude said the worker put her there glad the couple keep their cool cause she was rude and nasty...come
Arrived today at noon, I was told to come back later in the week before 9 am. If you tell all new donors the same time to arrive, how can that be efficient. Why would you want 10 or 15 new donors showing up before 9mam to sit there for hours and wait. New donors should not be turned away due to lack of time at noon when you close at 7pm. Maybe the owner should look at putting up online appt times customers can sign themselves up. This place very seldom answers the phone. So most days you can't call ahead to
Plan for 4 hours. Even as a return donor. They got new machines. You used to be able to walk in the front door and be walking out in under 2 hours. Now it takes more than 2 hours just to get through the line before you ever get to a bed. The new machines take too long to set up, don't really save time once the needles in, and their more temperamental. In the couple weeks since they've had them, there are barely enough still operational for them to keep 1 full section open (out of 3)
I've been a regular at CSL on Geyer springs for almost 3 years, recently I burned my hand in a small grease fire in my kitchen, wasn't bad didn't need a dr, I go in to donate, go through vitals no problem, went again 2 days later, go through vitals no problems, go back in 4 days all the sudden vitals notices the burn and sent me to the nurse and then sent me home told me to come back when it's completely healed, which I did, went yesterday just to be told that their doing an investigation because of the fi
Being closed on the weekends is ridiculous because people who have jobs can't donate. The past 3 times I've been in there in the past 2 weeks they keep telling me I have to see the nurse. It's a bullshit place that never answers the phone, never has the answers to any questions you ask them. They're just plain lazy and don't care. Corporate should step in and make serious changes.
This is my third review on this trash!!!! If you're thinking about going, and told to see medical, if they send you to Carrie...WATCH OUT!!! She's more interested in getting on the door floor herself than you are. Very unprofessional, rude, and lies. A lot!! The entire you're in the office with her she'll be on her phone or eating. The other times she'll be late getting to work, which will cause donors to stand outside until she arrives. THEN she want to smoke a stinky cigarette before actually coming in. I
Sad excuse for a plasma center. No one was there working the counter. And after 10 mins of standing some random person told me they were closed even tho it was only 4:30. Shid sad asf
I feel confident that they don't care about these reviews but im leaving one anyway. I checked in online using their app and drove 20 minutes to donate. I got here and the machine didn't recognize my QR code or finger print. All staff ignored me for a few minutes. Finally someone said they will have to process me as a new donor despite donating twice before. They told me to come back in 2 hours. Trying to donate actually costed me today. Time and gas. 1 staff member was a little helpful. The others were as
Waited over 90 minutes as new donor before they even started helping us new people. There was 4 of us new donors and I had number 2 wrote in my new donor sheet. They were too worried about getting all the beds full. Then the one that checked my blood pressure was very rude. Never said a word when I was trying to ask questions. So I just left.
This place is supposed to be a walk-in , after you donate they give you a date to come back, she told me to come back on the 18th I drove 30 mi to get their $20 in gas and when I arrived she told me I was not schedule and could not come in until tomorrow so I ended up sleeping in the parking lot until the next day. I donated yesterday and they told me to come back to 26th, I have an orientation for a job the 26th and was wanting to come back the 25th that was three days between my last donation I called her
Went to this location on Feb 21st of 2024. Been going to csl for a little over a year. This location had some of the worst management I've seen. It took me over 2 hours to finish with only 3 people ahead of me. There was only one person working sticking people and also cleaning up after donations. One person doing precheck and meanwhile the rest of the staff seemed to be standing around chatting. One employee did ask a manager for more help since there was only one worker doing 90% of the work. And the re
OLIVIA THE POSE TO BE MANAGER AT THIS FACILITY IS VERY IMMATURE AND DISRESPECTFUL IN MANY WAYS. THIS LOCATION SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN I WAS PROFILED IN SEVERAL WAYS TODAY. SOME OF THE STAFF IS ALRIGHT BUT IT DOESNT BALANCE AND OR MAKE UP FOR THE UNPROFESSIONALISM AND RUDENESS. I WAS DEFERRED FOR ASKING A QUESTION SO BECAUSE MY VOLUME OF MY VOICE IS LOUD I GET DEFERRED AND HAD THE NEEVE TO SAY MY BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE WHEN I WAS NOT DISRESPECTFUL OR ANY OF THAT.!! DONORS HAD BEEN OUTSIDE THIS PLACE SINCE SI
Doesn't make any since how they get paid all that money to not have but 10 machines working!!! Very long lines all the time!!!! Only 2 people in the back and they have open machines but not letting no1 come back !!! They need to close this place and hire people wanting to work !!! Im always late for work!!! B thre 4 to 6 hours smdh!!!
Ive left twice this week because the line is so long and workers are standing around and not working at all. I'm here to save a life, but when can i do just that if i cant be seen???!
Dion is great I would really prefer if only he stuck me due to it not hurting. The vital staff is trash. Their conversations are inappropriate and they act as if they don't want to be there. On my first visit they were yelling across the floor about what was for lunch and why the management wasn't buying them lunch. I stood in line and watch only 1 of the 3 women do vitals. The other 2 sat there until they were ready to call someone. Once on the floor my experience was better I was able to donate promptly a
This place is terrible. The last time I had plasma drawn the lady that stuck me put the needle in wrong. I kept complaining it hurt and something was wrong, finally at the end she takes it out and I end up with a huge knot on my arm which she wraps with ice pack and tells me I cannot leave till I drink a Gatorade. Go back this past Wednesday and because I had a big bruise on my arm I was turned away till doctor cleared me. Today I get a phone call saying I'm banned from this location. The only person there
I'm on vacation traveling from Florida. I was really pleased to know I was able to donate plasma in another state. Everyone in this location was very nice to me. My temporary transfer was swift and easy. I was done with the entire process within an hour and 20 minutes. In and out just like how I like it. I had no problems at all.
Today's experience at this location was friendly and pleasant not like previous reviews stated. Raven, Tory, Joseph, and Dion gave me great customer service and I am complimenting their good work. I am a visitor from Atlanta Ga and I believe in praising people when they deserve it so be Bless In Jesus Name.
They had a call off this morning that led to like 20 or 30 people waiting for close to 2 hours, which I understand things happen but what made me give the one star review is that they wouldn't allow a women to give an elderly man a chair after standing for an absurd amount of time. Policies are fine to follow but there is also room to be a good human. Most of the people there are wonderful but a handful are on some sort of power trip.
This has to be the worst plasma place I have been to. No leadership nor organization.
They refused to take me because I could not provide proof of address. I have two forms of state issued identification that have my address on them. They refused to accept them, stating that they required a piece of mail. Extremely unprofessional and more than a little ridiculous. It's a good thing I wasn't depending on them.
Workers are friendly. On the other hand I haven't been here once where the line was not crazy long. This is ridiculous. Almost a 2.5-3 hour experience everytime. I have been to much better managed facilities that can get me in and out in 60-75 mins tops. This is just disappointing. Change is needed.
Fast, friendly staff. Clean facilities. Best of all ive been too.
Never used the place but it seems nice and the staff seems friendly
Let's start a list of what they do good compared to any other plasma center: 1) Nothing Now the bad: 1) They close at any point in the day and never say anything. They say it's staffing issues, even though they have 3 people on the floor and 2 people doing vitals. 2) Rude. Not everyone, but some of them are just so unpleasant. 3) They NEVER answer the phones. They say it's staffing issues, but like I said they have plenty in the front that can answer. This is hands down the WORST plasma center I have ever
Warning this place will put you on a national donor block list due to a false positive to hep C and even after providing a test both at their facility and your pcp you will still not be eligible to donate anywhere in the world due their test do not donate here
Stood in line for over an hour before anyone acknowledge and came to me to address if I was a new customer or not worst service I ever seen Long story short I just left
Staff calls lut and dont come to work. Then they close early the same day and blame covid. Olivia is rude and wants to argue on the phone and tell me im wrong. Customers are always right. Learn to be professional
Super unprofessional almost every time I go up there. Yesterday I went up there and their systems were down so someone said on the outside of the building. So I tried to call five different times to no answer. I was in trying to call this morning to make sure that they were open and again no answer. And on top of all of that I had the manager short me $75 on my referral. If you can find another one go to it. Unless you're a new donor at this place their rates aren't that great anyway.
This is not the way a plasma center is supposed to operate. I still intend to donate but I'm definitely will be a new donor at this location. I have been here for over an hour ,and nothing has been completed. I see why the donors are frustrated and have attitudes.
I'm looking to be a new plasma donor. I live 54 miles away and wanted to speak to someone before I made that drive. I called repeatedly for an hour and no one answered. After a long process through the Facebook page, I finally got to speak with a human and after giving her the location (their system wasn't recognizing any Arkansas zip codes) she finally found the number I had called and she wasn't able to get an answer either. So I'm guessing the 7pm close time is just when they feel like staying? I'm looki
I do reviews for plasma centers and my most recent location was CSL Plasma location Little Rock, Arkansas on May 9,2023. Overall not bad. I arrived at 5 pm and depated at 815. The staff was friendly but were understaffed. The pay was $100 but advertises $125. Out of the 3 plasma centers it comes in a distant 2 behind BPL Plasma.
WONT ACCEPT A COPY OF YOU SOCIAL SECURITY CARD! Just saved you two hours of your life. If you can, donate somewhere else. Under staffed, the staff barely even want to be there. SLOW AS HELL SERVICE.
Parked by front door on a white curb. Come i side for security to enforce a fire lane thats not painted red. Unprofessional company all the way around. Rude disrespectful staff.
Are you guys open been calling and nobody is answering
The big security guard that looks like a gorilla closes the doors early cause he doesn't love his job and don't want it cause he wants to go home early
Gf arrived 8am Sunday morning, gave them her info and sat for 3hrs then they told her they lost her driver's license and she couldn't give. They didn't offer any help to find her license just said sorry we'll call you tomorrow. Now she's wasted all morning, don't have her DL and even the police couldn't help her. She was the only Caucasian in there, how do you lose her license?
These people are truly amazing I was in there about a week ago on a Saturday and I accidentally left my headsets in the screening booth and the person behind me picked up my headsets and was planning to steal them when I informed the staff that they were missing they immediately went to investigate what had happened and found the person who had my headsets and made them return them too me I really appreciate the staff for acting so quickly and being very professional they are great and I will continue to do
Cleanest donation center I've ever been to, with the kindest and most professional staff I've ever seen. They give you free cloth masks at the entrance and the fact that i can do the health questionnaire on the app is a plus. THERE IS A BONUS GOING ON IN THE APP FROM NOW TILL APRIL. Get the app and get the bonus on top of your donation payout.
The staff is kind and considerate. They are very respectful and attentive. The staff make the visit very pleasant. Thank you for your service, you are a God send. God Bless You.
Don't come to this one I stood in line for an hour then when they was doing my vitals they said I had to see nurse. The nurse asked if I was hydrated and if I ate said of course and then they said I had to start all over and wait in line again witch would of been at least another hour and half if not more will never donate here again
I've been trying to get more information from them so I've called every day for 3 days. I have yet to get anyone to answer the phone. I'm shocked they have such a high rating when they can't answer their phones.
I have always been treated like a king the staff is wonderful and courteous and provides a very professional atmosphere. Shouts out to Diamond, Ursula Kelly and all the intake ladies
This location gives no (F's). Unprofessional. Dirty looks. Keep empty donation stations. Long lines and they don't care. Who supervises or oversees this location?
It's normally nice, professional and easy in and out but today the "system is down" but I can still login and complete donor360 and connect to the wifi. Something ain't right with this picture!!
Usually good but they left me just sitting there waiting, know they got a new system but sheesh
Stuck my girl bad and blew a vein needle was barely on and they claimed clotting issue on her and she's anemic
Some people have to walk over n u get there to a sign saying closed sorry its more n more either u wait for help r so many people it takes 3 hrs to get done I use to like this place but needing money but losing that little extra at end of month bites big time n then u start over a lower pay totally unfair if it's not ur fault n standing come on get chairs at lease make people comfortable
Usually nice and typically professional. Occasional phlebotomist not trained very well and misstick people . Average rates, tho (FAR better pay at Octapharma, BPL & Talecris).
This whole staff and center is awesome. I recommend you donate ?? there if you're going to donate anywhere. Charlie is the best ???? ?? thanks to all of you guys at CSL for being so helpful n nice Everytime I come in Thx.
The only problem.os they are short staffed and other gonna take at least 45 min to an hour to get onthe floor but other than that it's a good place to donate
Love coming here during the week to do something for the greater good. They are always very nice and respectful when I come in. Very welcoming.
They have a friendly staff everyone seems to know what there doing wish the hours was different but I have no complaints
Understaffed every single time I come, they don't answer the phone when you call, no matter how many times, and they have some of the rudest people working, when they actually work, horrible experience
Would give 0 stars if possible. My spouse and I were discriminated against donating for being LGBT (yes, in the staff's own words), even though we were able to donate previously.
Management said they wasn't going to close until 6 today then I call and the woman that picked up the phone was rude and hung up in my face multiple times after Management said they would not be closing until 6
One person complain about the hours they fine to me i get off 430 mon thurs i have 3 days to pick from they cool there good staff they helped me im a new donor i be back
Understaffed, there's always a good chance you're going to have to wait at least an hour (probably a lot longer) before you get a bed.
CSL Plasma is the place to go to if you want to do something good and get paid for it. The plasma that they collect is used to make a variety of medicines that are used globally. And you get paid to donate...
Unprofessional and rude. I was hoping the reviews were wrong. But they are a very accurate depiction of the place
Fast and friendly screening staff; Diamond is a very professional Phlebotomist and she is very good at doing her job!!
Love going and Ms Caitlin is so sweet love that woman
Every time I call, they claim they aren't taking new donors. Even though I've called as early as 11am, and they don't close until 7pm.
I don't know what going on, but it's gotten really slow lately. Expect to stand in line for over an hour waiting on a bed. You'll be here at least 3-4 hours. Getting pathetic, honestly.
Very friendly staff they will talk to anyone! I enjoy my time in there.
Ursula, Kryste, Diamond, Kelly , Gen are Phlebotomists
THESEE PEOPLE WILLL LIE TO YOU !! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY & WANTS TO GIVE YOU FREAKING 40$ AFTER I THEN RISK MY D* LIFE GIVING BLOOD AWAY!
I love this staff , in every way. Always excellent , always very professional. Two thumbs up.!!
Rude and slow. I've filed 2 complaints with corporate and heard nothing. Go to Griffols on Col. Glenn
If ya are gonna open doors at I jnstead of 7 you need to change it on website
I'm a donor here at CSL Plasma and love it here. The staff is very friendly and helpful and sweet people and take care of you!!
Good staff bonuses every week after ur first 5 donation for been a new donor
My experience at csl plasma center was very friendly and professional, great staff and very fast and easy .
Staff are nice & helpful & they know how to stick!!! I would recommend CSL to anyone??
I would like to say I had a good experience at CSL plasma got in and out in a timely fashion.
Great place to go fast friendly great ppl diamond probably the best sticker
Very nice staff friendly and helpful service definitely would recommend them.
Best plasma center ive ever went to. Amazing workers. Very fast
They are very bad I had to go to the er after leaving there
Very nuce place to donate. Sweet staff and quicker than normal donation time.
I always have a great experience when I donate here
Nice, and very helpful staff... Great work to you all......
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
