Very great experience. The staff here are extremely polite and courteous. Hardworking and take their time to ensure safety.
One of the best CSL donations I've been through in a while. The Lobby was clean, the lines were short and the people were friendly. Even being from out of town my entire donation period was around an hour from door to door. If I'm ever in this part of town again I'll definitely be back to check in.
They take FOREVER Get ready to waste 3 hours for maybe 50 bucks. I feel like half of these reviews are bots because aint no way. The staff is friendly enough, but the way its ran is NOT . They have no chairs to sit down- when lines are constantly out the door. it takes forever to get seated to get your plasma taken- and when you're finished- they take forever to send you on your way.
Well, some days the wait times are longer than others, but that goes with the territory. Liz Is exceptionally great at her job. I never feel it when she sticks the needle in. Great place and easy money.
the staff is nice enough but management needs to get it together. you're guaranteed to spend minimum of 2-3 hours here at any given day whole time they only got 1-2 staffed screening lines of 15-20 people
The pay is good also MOST of the employees are friendly/respectful. Also clean , just wish the wait wasn't so long , need more workers!!!
Everyone was decently nice but after I was done donating I waited over a half hour waiting to be unplugged and wrapped up. With a whole line in the lobby. That's just ridiculous if you ask me
Screening is not friendly, nor do they practice standard universal precautions! Next time I come, i will not go to the crabby lady in screening. She seems unhappy, like she doesn't get paid to work there. Besides that, the experience can be pleasant.
They are understaffed and the waits have been pretty long lately, but the staff is nice and they're doing their best. Edit: A year later and the waits have only gotten longer while the pay has decreased and the bonuses have just straight up disappeared. I'm sure that CSL itself is at fault for the latter two, but now every visit has a near 2 hour wait in line for a volume of visitors that used to only take an hour before they got these new machines in. Been coming here for over two years and I'm highly con
The madison location is a joke. There is so many dope heads that come in there and they send them right on through. I just started donating around the 10th of this month and I have went through the complete process and then get told I ant donate because I have a small bruise that was made from carrying wood. They let me go through the whole process and get on the Donner floor just to send me right back out the door again for the third time. I spend a total of 4hrs there today and still didn't get to donate
This is the worst location I've ever been to.. they were asking people to leave a review for a bonus, I'm sure it's the only reason it's got this rating. This place is always under staffed.. even during the busiest point of the day!
The first time I went there the people was very nice the second time I went there the people was very rude and very hostile towards me and I would not recommend coming here unless you come here on the right day they lady named Omni was very rude and unfriendly.
Great place to donate very clean. Staff is very professional nice informative just all-around great place to be.
I've been donating for over 30 years and I've never seen this slow of a process anywhere...just transferred from Knoxville. Nashville is 10x slower!! I've been here 2 times now and there is never more than 1 person doing check in. Knoxville always has 4-5 wtf Nashville ??? On top of that. Finally got out on the machine...the tech did not verify flow after sticking me and went thru a complete cycle for nothing! Completely incompetent. Then I get back home and find out that they permanently deferred me for
Not very friendly place. Walked In and immediately felt like an annoyance for the staff who came to the desk. Decided to just walk, didnt want to deal with that atmosphere.
They don't pay enough to sit in a line for 3 hours smh the machines are faster but employees slower. This is rediculous. I'm going to another plasma center not associated with csl
I've been going here for a while, and I love this plasma center. Marcus and CJ are both so awesome. They are so good at what they do, and on top of that they are so kind and personable (and let's not forget handsome! ??).
They literally exposed me to HCV and i?m having to figure out how to pay for 14 THOUSAND dollar medication. The FDA will be called over this. This is ridiculous
They are the slowest place ever literally it was almost 15 people in line and one worker got up from screening and went to store next door
This is the worst plasma center in east Nashville the slowest, the worst do not come here if u don't want to be here all day it's stupid.
Glad too see this location is hiring and training more employees. All of the staff members deserve a raise in my opinion. Despite the long wait times in line in past visits, the staff members here have always worked well together and are very patient. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work and dedication!
They have amazing staff here. I'm never here to long at all. Plus I just won the march give away! I never even put a ticket in there. They look out for you. I thought someone else needed it more but God and they apparently have my back.
This center has got to be ran better. There is at least 15-20 people waiting to be screened and they usually have 1 screener and she walks off after every person she screens for a minute or two. Today will be the LAST time I come here ??????
They seem to aways have a long wait time where you are made to stand the in a line for at least an hour most days. Other than that the process isn't too bad. They really need a digital line so that people can sit down & just be called when it's their turn.
I come here often and each time the process is smooth and easy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which amplifies the experience as well. Definitely would recommend
Staff is normally very professional and gracious. Sometimes a bit slow, but staff does what they can do keep visit pleasant. Facility is always fairly clean and sanitary. I've been coming for over 10 yrs and no plans to stop now
Extremely rude staff who became insulted when I asked her to change her gloves before she open my skin and removed blood from my finger. Stating that it was not required nor a standard practice to change their gloves through out the day or when going from one person to the next or when touching their face, hair, computer mouse or keyboards. And when she finally did change gloves only after I had to ask for a manager she failed to wash her hands before putting on a new pair and took out her phone and fiddle
Staff is always professional and overall friendly despite the stress they are under. Only downside are some individuals who bring folding chairs and use them as ?placeholders? while they wait in their cars. They literally don't even use their chairs. Doesn't seem fair to those who actually wait in line for the location to open. Would love to see management make a rule regarding ?false placeholders?
Recently reduced donor fees. Dr. Paul Mckenzie made more than 5 million last year. p
I originally came in on 11/28 @10am and waited til 12:15 before I was moved from waiting room to both for vitals . While waiting I watched 6 new people come and be helped before me . When I got to the both for vitals and weight the lady couldn't sign in the computer and moved her attention to the next both and new customer while leaving me sitting waiting again as the next booth also came in after me . I then was told things aren't working properly and that I could come back .. I came back this morning 11/2
I have going plasma center for a while Tanya she's is very respect person, she reminds of my grandma like see everybody happy that come through center & very hard working woman, love when she stick my arm get alone with everyone. I consider this place very friendly & professional ..
This place is just very slow on the costumers well mannered bc it's there job but sucks to have ur whole day taken away bc they don't get to people fast enough they mainly talk alot about short staff but there be 30 people working and 70 people waiting for hours not a place to visit if u got things planed out for the day
The person taking vitals was NOT doing her job property. She had me pull my arm from my under my shirt causing me to show my right breast while ppl were around. She had no sense of privacy. I was trying to keep myself covered which I couldn't hold the temperature detector right causing my temper not to read properly resulting with deferred body temperature. She even started to take my blood pressure with my arm folded up rather the waiting for me to relax it. Her finger prick was bad to no warning what so e
Friendly vampires here, they take good care of you while they harvest your plasma. (FYI, if u didn't know its the plasma they drink and not necessarily blood) It's pain free, stress free and quite pleasant. I think it's an ethical alternative to them roaming the streets at night and sucking people?s blood. And you get paid for it AND they don't make anymore vampires. It's a cool symbiotic relationship. Definitely would recommend.
I'm not the kind of person to leave these types of reviews as I always like to give a business the benefit of the doubt. However, if you're constantly telling people to donate because ?we need plasma? (and I fully believe it's needed) then I have a hard time understanding why you would allow your challenges in communication to hinder people from donating the plasma you need so much. I tried to donate plasma today and had my saved time slot for 2:00pm on the app but when I arrived they informed me that they
Maurice was very helpful in getting me all set up very professional and kind an would recommend him to any new comers thank you sir it was a blessing interacting with you during the process
The facility is super clean, and the intake personnel were friendly. The lines (8:30 am on a Tuesday) were a dozen or more people long the entire time I was there. I am able to be in and out of my home CSL facility in 60-70 minutes consistently. I have been in line for 45 minutes already and still have several people in line in front of me waiting to be stuck.
Waste of time trying to become a new donor. Front desk staff can't keep their information straight, I was given the wrong video to watch and told I needed to watch another. I'm not watching two 20 minute videos before I can even begin the two hour process of getting scanned, a physical, and then donating when they can't even get that right. Don't trust these people with your information, let alone putting a needle in your arm, it's not worth the money.
I never have any problems that the employees aren't willing to help me with. Always friendly and attentive. The facility is always clean and in good condition. I definitely recommend to others hands down.
Always have a good experience here. Wait times vary, but remember that they cant control when people come in and how many come. This goes for employees too! They are people like us and deserve respect. I have always had nice experiences in regards to the staff. Payouts are good. Chances to win raffle prizes!!
Tanya has always went above and beyond to make sure I was in the best and most comfortable care. She deserves more than five stars. ??
When u say worst of the worst this is the place 100%. Waited almost 4 hours and still wasn't donating. The lines are horrific the screening employees are awful the machines need to be calibrated they are really off. You have homeless people taking baths in the bathroom, stealing the toilet paper, stealing the hoses from the sink. Your donation employees have no sense of urgency and leave people waiting for hours . It really makes no sense to have a facility like that and no one cares. Shame get rid of the h
I see there's a lot of duplicate reviews of this place on here. Sketchy. The truth is this is a good place to earn a little extra money if you're short on cash. However, expect to be waiting for hours while the employees walk around and do nothing while talking with each other. Every time I've gone here, the waiting line for the med screenings has been at least 10 people deep, with only one person doing them. All the other employees just aimlessly wandering around the building and talking amongst themselves
This location has very, very poor management in regards to staffing and center flow. It appears there is no one who gauges the number of customers and reacts to making adjustments. I must say, overall this company would do very well to re-evaluate management and their effectiveness. It appears that staff acts as though we owe them something versus the other way around. Yes, we are getting paid a few dollars?but they are profiting MILLIONS. Respect is due, but certainly is not given.
My first time at this location was wonderful, because I felt like respected friend, seen & treated with care. The customer service even with limited staff is exceptional, to the point where I'm interested in working here as well. I'm grateful for their presence in my community.
Love this place been good to me and my other family members since longer then 4 months ago staff is great and loving
I enjoy going to donate at CSL plasma Madison. The staff is always friendly and doing a great job in my opinion, Sometimes the wait time is a bit too swallow but we make through. Keep up the good work CSL Staff.
My first visit to CSL today was a painless experience. It was very clean and the environment was comfortable. The staff gave very excellent service and made me feel warm and welcome from start to finish. Staff was very nice , polite, hands on , and informative throughout my first time process. All my questions were answered promptly. I would recommend this plasma treatment center to anyone who is thinking of giving for the first time or wants to restart in the future.
Matt, Penny, Dava did an amazing job! My left arm is usually always hard to stick and they were able to get it the first go! No pain and very smooth! Definitely would recommend!
The process may take some time but the staff is nice
Been coming here for several years and they are really helpful and friendly staff. Been donating here and have had no issues at all. No issues at all. Everyone is very nice to deal with on the staff. Very helpful and professional people. Never had any problems, in and out quickly. Won't go anywhere else, ever. Thank you guys for everything that you do for us all
first time at csl and had maurice as the main person helping me. super chill and conversational. made everything super easy to understand
I almost always have good experiences at this location. The staff are wonderful- helpful, courteous, professional, and fun. The facility is very nice and clean. The experience is as good as it can be with the unavoidable wait at times and with the process of donating plasma. Highly recommend!
I love the staff here. Very welcoming and make you feel so comfortable. 10/10
This is the worst plasma facility in middle Tennessee. 30 people in line to get their vitals taken with only 1 employee taking vitals, and only 3 donors allowed on the donating floor at a time. I don't understand how a location so inefficient could possibly be sustainable. The employees are great and are definitely doing their best (though they are very few for a location this size) Donors DO NOT get compensated fairly for the amount of time it takes to even get screened much less for their actual donation.
You'd think for a place that asks you to come in and donate a part of your body, they would be more focused on bringing ease to the experience. However, it's always understaffed. No matter what time you come in, there's always usually 10-15 people in line waiting for just the med screen, with only one person doing the checks, and the checks rake about 10 minutes each. You're easily waiting in this line for almost an hour every time, and that's before you even get back to donate. Then, once you do finally ge
Wife and I normally donate at a different center but decided to donate while we were on vacation in a different state. My intake person, Marie, was wonderful, pleasant, and efficient. However, it was a little frustrating to be standing in line for 15 minutes only to have people walk up to the desk and get immediate attention. The facility is roomy and well-lit. I prefer how my "home" facility spreads a crowd out into 2 bays rather than crowding everybody into one while leaving the other empty. Perhaps th
Clean, but dated facility. The ladies working are awesome. Wait times are sometimes a little extreme, very random though. I never know the best time to come because one day everything will go smooth, others it seems to take a while.
I've been going to CSL Plasma for 5 months now. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff has always been friendly. The facility is clean. It's also cold so bring a jacket (even in the summer). Wait times are not bad. I had my doubts about this location based on old reviews. But I'm glad I gave them a chance. They have been awesome. And I'm helping people and making extra money. Thanks CSL!
30 plus minutes (with 5 in front of me) in the pre-screening line because only one person is working is ridiculous. The little $50 or $60 one gets isn't worth the time one waists waiting.
I've donated plasma before in IL and even though this is in Madison, it actually is pretty nice, quick and easy. There isn't a lot of people, so far no long lines and the staff is friendly and seem to know what they are doing. The deals are great, especially if you have a referral. The people who come in there to donate are also characters lol someone is always making people laugh or smile. Giving the staff and hard time, but all in good fun. The first time there, expect to be there for about 4 hours. Then
They are understaffed. Employees talk to much when they should be working! If your machine beeps they completely disregard you if you raise your hand to get someone's attention so they can check the machine they avoid eye contact, they stand around talking to other donors instead of coming and check on you, then if you get an attitude because they not doing their job then they wanna defer you.I have experienced this multiple times and honestly they getting paid but they don't like to go the extra mile. They
Michelle is very nice at reception. Liz, Marcus and Grace are excellent stickers. And Tee and Conisha are very nice and friendly at the takedown
This is the place to go!! If you don't mind the wait sometimes but for sure getting better. Great staff alway very kind and helpful.
Nice facility and staff for the most part, but needs more screener and phlebotomist to speed things up a bit. Nobody wants to spend 2 hrs plus to donate due to being understaffed.
The staff is fantastic and have always been friendly! I've never had any issues since I've been donating here last year.
This center takes a really long time to donate. It's unfortunate when it's all because of the lack of staff. The staff they have however are quick and kind. Just be prepared to wait for while to get back. ????Update 5/30. Today they had staff from the Murfreesboro location and everything moved quickly!! Tyler was on top of everything and moving very fast!! Good job sir!! I'd give you 10 stars if I could!! ???? Thanks so much for making sure my donation was nice and smoothly!! We also love how well majored h
They are so understaffed. They close early all the time unannounced. My last visit a Monday I arrived at 10:30am and got out at 4:15. I had tried at 11:30 on Saturday but they had closed at 11, came Sunday at 8am. There was a new sign in the door saying not opening at all, come Monday. It's 50 min round trip for me, Can't call bc they are so understaffed they don't answer. For entire weeks they would close at 3, which sucked if you worked. CSL execs whatever your compensation policy or business cultur
Staff is excellent. They treat you like family here. Matt and the nurse there are the best people I ever met. I wish everyone was as nice as they are.
everyone is very nice Taylor. Frederick. And Brenda I love the way they stick no complication it's pheasant and relaxing fun to come here because you hear different jokes everybody gets along thank you for having me here
There never a line when I come. It's always clean. They doing there always working instead of standing around talking. They fast, friendly.. There great at there job!!! This the best CSL I have ever been to.
Decent facility just understaffed. The staff that's there is usually professional but wait times can be significant as they'll often have only one person doing intake at a time. If you come at a busy time you'll wait 40 minutes easily just to see if you're eligible to donate...
Tanya johnson was wonderful, sweet, and an awesome sticker! Didn't even feel the needle overall great experience
I have only donated here twice and my first time here was amazing. I think the girl who helped me last week was named Brittney. She was able to find my small veins with no problems at all. Today was another story. I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me today but she complained the whole time about my veins, said she wasn't a good stick, and told me I should come back tomorrow. Maybe I should have listened since I've now been deferred for a month. All she could tell me was that my veins were too sma
Walked in today as a new donor and was told to take a seat, gentleman walks in after me and is told to do the same for his first time. Lady calls the other man up first??how? Why? Why did I get skipped? That's why I'll donate somewhere further away and get treated correctly. Your opening front desk lady needs to be re trained on proper etiquette
The staff is always so friendly and willing to answer any questions. The facility is always well kept and clean. I definitely recommend to others
Brah...they had 1 person doing vitals and 2 people sticking and discharging was in line for 2 hrs! This is my 2nd time coming to this spot....and it always takes 2 hrs to even get a seat!!!! It's not worth it....I'll be calling upper management this is unacceptable!!!
I've been going here since 2014 and never had any issues. The staff us always professional and friendly, and while the process does take a bit out of your time, it's a good thing helping others. Bring a hoodie and a fully charged phone though, they also do not have wifi so have some tunes or a book or something to entertain you while you're there.
Been going here for a few years now. Staff is polite and friendly, but it's ridiculous how slow the whole process is. There are days I wait more than 2-3 hours from start to finish. End of the month and your wait time is going up to 4-5 hours per donation. Every staff member is worked to the bone and all of them will tell you there is no help. While management is goofing off and not even trying to help. It would be a great experience if they could keep some people around for awhile.
I always have a great experience at CSL. Great people.. Always nice and friendly. They should hire more staff, wait time is extremely too long.
The experience here is well worth it. Both with staff how friendly fun and the awesome new payments they are giving. For $60 a visit twice a week if I want they are the best in town. You won't be disappointed.
The experience gets better every time that I donate, the staff is very nice. And they do a great job. Not one problem in the 8 months that I have been using their service. Highly recommend! Worth it!
I go often for fast cash & donating is great when you do it Just for those purposes. Harder to keep ya head down when staff feels you're familiar - causes for real discipline cus staff doesn't always have it. Beware of deferrals, issa backlash when you open your mouth or they don't want to work.
I've been donating at this location for quite some time and currently @ platinum status but that doesn't seem to make a difference the last visit on March 2 I was overlooked around 20 minutes after the donation cycle was completed and the others that were completed after me were relieved first clearly unprofessional and disrespectful to a long time donor
The staff is always nice and helpful. They always make the new and returning donors feel at ease while donating. I recommend this location over the other locations. I've been coming here for the last 2 years and my daughters have donated here as well.
This location is a good location to donate at. The staff is great, they treat you just like family. They always make sure your donation goes well. They are fast at what they do. It is always so nice and clean to.
I love this place. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. Definitely recommend to other people
I have had nothing but problems with this location. The first time I went I transferred from another center I waited 45 minutes from the time I was on the bed to be plugged in then waited another 20 to be unplugged when I was done. The second time I went in they had a power surge stopping all the machines in the middle of donation. They did not charge their generator therefore all the machines lost power. Nobody knew how to handle this situation and promptly started freaking out staff and managers included!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
