I came to this place without expecting everything would be so organized and clean! I really liked the service, it was comfortable and I will return in the future without any doubt!
It was a good experience. The place is very clean and organized. All the staff is very friendly, organized and attentive. Easy money, the entire process was easy but the first time does take about 2 hours with everything you do before hand.
I had an excellent experience! The professionals on-site were highly skilled and attentive, making sure I understood every step along the way. Their expertise and care really stood out, and I felt completely at ease. Plus, the snacks and drinks afterward were a nice touch. I'll definitely return!
I had a fantastic experience! The employee was incredibly kind and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. I also want to commend the director for doing such an amazing job in creating such a welcoming and professional environment. I truly appreciated the attention to detail, and I'll definitely be back!
I had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Afterward, I was treated to some tasty snacks and refreshing drinks. I'll definitely be returning!
I highly recommend this business. Mr. Tommy was very courteous and professional. Their customer service is excellent and the place was very clean. It exceeded my expectations. Will definitely return.
Fantastic customer service! Andrea at the reception was very kind, and they gathered my information swiftly. I was seen promptly, and the entire process took under two hours. I definitely recommend it.
A swear this place is a scam. On your first visit as of today. They'll pay you $42 for your first donation. With a weight of 170 pounds or better. And $60 your second donation. A couple of days ago when I donated everything with just fine. Now on my second donation of $60 I fail. ALWAYS ON MY SECOND DONATION! At this point it can't be coincidence as it's happened before on several occasions and always on the higher dollar amount. And I've been donating and helping save lives as they say for years. But I pro
Excellent experience. The staff was very friendly and professional, they explained everything to me. I was surprised how fast and easy everything was. Many thanks to the staff for their excellent work!
Derek does a good job sticking people smoothly. Nice guy all around never had issues when I go to the back of the donor hall and if you feel unsure about gettin poked and feel it might be painful request this guy he does an excellent job.
This place is nasty & so unprofessional they have old machines! they poke super hard it hurts! And they don't even put anything right ton my lower arm instead of them doing it the right way which is upward. Made my arm hurt so much so I told them to remove the needle, then they wanted to try my other arm so I said what if it happens again just forget it and she failed to tell me that due to that I couldn't donate for 56 days she said it till the end! She was so dumb and unprofessional. I will never go back
Before csl got new machines, csl hired new staff, that's when things were going wrong, I got one of the new staff and that's when I got a bubble under my skin, then bruising and also fishing for a vein... A little discomfort. So I found out you can request, so I did..one of the old staff and it's been great ever since.
Derek and many others have a very soft hand to where you really don't feel the poke of the needle
This place should be shut down. They are treating donors oppressively. To pay a donor $43 dollars for a donation is terrible. They sell the plasma for thousands per container yet they pay the donor $43, $60 per donation. It's abusive. People donate because of a need but for CSL to take advantage of the poor is greedy. I don't understand why these people in the valley allow to be oppressed. They don't have to live like this unless they don't want to work. They can all stop going to make a stand. That's the o
Great service. The staff is nice and friendly, and the place very clean. Great experience.
Something has to be done about that management at this place!!! Workers all over the place yet there is a line wrapped around whole building most workers are just talking just like the managers no concern at all donors in the line spread out sitting down leaving gaps in the line one reason why it's so long no professionalism.no sense of urgency of you hate your job then quit but this crazy I personally donate in 20 minutes but I spend 2 hours at this nasty place oh here's the bathroom. If you read this and
I had a great experience. The staff was both welcoming and professional, ensuring the process was comfortable and efficient.
I highly recommend this business. Their customer service is excellent and the place was very clean. It exceeded my expectations.
Pleasant experience, the employees make you feel at ease and comfortable during the process, excellent service and clean environment.
I have so many complaints that I don't know where to start. The machines or the workers, or both are trash. First, they had 5 different people stick me to find my vein and they couldn't. So a worker started slamming stuff around and hit me with a cart. I told her she hit me and she just looked at me and kept going. I feel very disrespected because they didn't not care about my saying what so ever. When I asked to remove the needle cause they were hurting me they told me if I didn't allow them to continue I
The team showed little concern for the queue and the donors waiting. I recall a time when such lines were uncommon. Only a handful of team members demonstrated commendable dedication, while others seemed to take advantage of the efforts of these hard working colleagues.
Very sweet and welcoming people! ?? They can always find my vein which im always scared of the waiting time is not as bad as people make it seem you go from the vitals to the donation asap it just depends on the person on how long it takes and how much water you drink! Always eager to come back and help lives, makes me happy ??
HELD AGAINST MY WILL!! * DISREGARDING OF HIPA!! * MGT AND STAFF OPENLY TALKED ABOUT ME IN OTHER LANGUAGES AFTER I TOLD THEM THAT'S DISRESPECTFUL!! It's all a game to them! The intake screening, Nursing, and Mangment!! JUST BEWARE! *LOOKING FOR THE STATE LICENSING BOARD TO SHARE MY MOST RECENT EXPERIENCES!!
Staff super friendly, I see they try their best to get everyone at a steady pace
Really horrible.. The nurse that poked me hurt my arm. The next day I had bruise. The whole time the machine was beeping. I never had trouble with any other nurse it was my 5 time donating. But they dont care. They just wanna get paid. I dont recommend any one to go.
Great experience! The staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
I love this plasma center because most staff members here are friendly and helpful however the one I truly do appreciate and like mostly is Derek I have never had any issues with anything from Derek!!! I would like to see him progress to a higher level in this business and I believe that he should be highly considered!!!! Thank you for your time and patience with my report about Derek
I was a bit skeptical at first, because I tend to rely on reading reviews before trying it out a place, but I have gone 4 times already this past month, and I received an amazing care by Derek. He was very attentive, he was patient and quick yet soft with his hand. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the anatomy of veins, and his approach to give me a smooth and safe experience. I believe we all have bad days, but don't let other people scare you away from helping people with donating your plasma. Wi
Excellent managent. Fast friendly service. Highly recommended!
I love it. Super clean and fast service thanks to Madeline good customer service always happy
I've enjoyed my visit at this center, the staff was polite and I'd recommend others to donate here.
The phlebotomist messed up my right arm the bruise is really big and bad. The person who poked me was a guy so I don't trust any guys to poke me ever again. Make sure you ask for someone who is more experienced and has been working there for the longest time.
Iv been a donor here for a long time the staff is great the phlebotomist I have not have had an issue with any of them in the past at all i Highly recommended if you're someone who likes to help people out, the compensation isn't as much as it should be but think of it like this life is priceless and if you could save one, this is the place for you. Come donate today
I had a pleasant experience at this plasma center, employees are knowledgeable and clean environment
Great and fast service, friendly environment. Thank you
Clean and friendly environment. Staff is professional and knowledgeable.
So I've been coming here now for about two months and I have some veins that are really hard to find. Do they always find it no, do I sometimes end up with bruises, sometimes but they are always there to help you learn how to take care of that. The one person who can always find my vein , Derek, and he is very professional, very courteous, and always wants to make sure that you are comfortable, just like everybody else here. And now all I do is request him. I couldn't ask for a better group of people and th
Excellent place, good location, the service is pleasant and very professional.
I was pleasantly suprised with this location. I normally go to another location but was in town for a few days and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. It seemed very clean, mens bathroom and vitals/donation areas. Lighting seemed brighter somehow. I was in and out very quickly compared to my normal donation location. The donation process seemed the same but it was more fluid rather than stagnant. I'm guessing having a CSL location down the road in Hidalgo helps to unload this donation center. Anyhow,
They recently went down in price. Will still keep going but would be curious of the price change
This is my second time trying to donate, the first time I was denied because they didn't accept my government issued military ID, so I had to get my Texas ID, I came today on a Sunday and it was 3:45pm, so they told me they couldn't help me because they were backed up with the new donors and they closed at 5. They were like 5 girls in the front just gossiping, and I stayed just to see, and they're only like 4 in the lobby and 10 minutes later there was no one waiting, worst service ever!!! They need to get
They blew up my moms vein and then have the audacity to respond with attitude after she expresses her concern?? coming from the floor manager as well. She got an apology from someone else but how distasteful it was to be met with attitude after having expressed anxiety about an incident. Donors have every right to be concerned especially after an incident like that. Leave your personal problems out of the workplace :/
Just came back after a two month deferred and 1st donation was excellent from the guy poking but came back for 2nd visit of the week and y'all messed up again sitting here cause I lost blood and y'all switch the pay I donated Friday got 50 came today Sunday and y'all give me 45 cause y'all switched pay but this is my second donation of the week come to find out you guys start your week Sunday who does that scammmm and this is the 3rd time y'all messed up will be filling complaint again this is my 3rd one w
Front desk doesn't know what they're doing , wasted my time almost 4 hours as a return but was labeled new donor and wouldn't be compensated for time wasted and the mistake their employee made. Definitely won't be coming here again
This Plasma Center Needs More Phlebotomist! Some Stay Talking, But Take FOREVER To Poke You. Theirs Been Times Where I Wait 15-20 Minutes Until I Get Poked! They Need More People To Take Vitals As Well! Lines Have Been Extremely Long & Crazy. I Can Possibly Take 2/ 2 1/2 Hours To Leave From Here! Also The Restrooms Are Always Dirty & Smelly.
Friendly staff and excellent customer service!
Tech was fishing for a vein and this was the result. Techs were advised there was pain during fill and they just fished some more until they asked to use the other arm. These techs need more training. This is not the first bruise caused by an inexperienced tech but definitely the worst.
It was my first time there and because they weren't clear and tell you everything at once, i waited longer than the average first timer. After the kiosk questions, i was supposed to wait in line for the screening but i sat down to wait for them to call me. I was told after 40 minutes of waiting, i was supposed to get screened before the health assessment. It normally takes 2 hours, i took 4.
Great place to have a pleasant donation.
I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLASMA CENTER AND THE WAIT TIME IS NEVER LONG!!?? I love the staff and especially want to give a big thank you to Mrs.Kayla the physical nurse! She is and did a wonderful job!! ?? ????????
The machine I always get put to sit is never ready and wastes more of my time then it should be seeing people after me get situated before I do and that is unexceptable....need to be faster and ready I rather wait standing in the line to see who is actually ready
Great and helpful staff. Pretty chill and a fun way to kill time while also doing something impactful.
They scammed me did not receive award. My machine wasn't working and not returning the blood so the machine kept beeping so a nurse can fix it. And I waited 30 minutes for a nurse to actually come and help. There was NO ONE on the floor and I looked around and all the nurses were bundled up laughing and talking not paying attention to any of the patients. Until finally someone came they just pulled my needle out so it can have a slower run instead of switching arms, I was there for over 3 hours because no o
I am very thankful for all the staff at this center. They have become my weekly support to go to as I go through school. The staff is very kind and well knowledgeable as attentive. The facility is clean and their service is very quick and professional. This is a great experience I have had so far donating plasma. Come and support those in need of a transfusion. :) <3
Excellent service! Payment on the spot
I was told I couldn't donate because my temperature was 0.1 off from their limit. I feel perfectly fine I don't get sick often and just because my temperature was off by that 0.1 I'll have to wait another day to come. Not a pleasant experience having to get told to basically buzz off.
The experience is overall okay if you get a Phlebotomist to do the Venipuncture correctly in your arm without hurting you, it feels nice to know that you can help others from your Donation. Sadly most of their Phlebotomist are terrible at performing Venipuncture, some of them are very unfriendly and cold, they will just Puncture your arm without care leaving terrible bruises. Management doesn't seem to care to improve their customer service of their staff.
They take forever they keep waiting for 20 minutes just laying there till someone helps you ...they need a better system of doing things now they pay less 92 dollars for two donations they are cheap when paying for your plasma this place has gone down in quality and pay what a shame corporation..
I went to try and donate plasma today as a new donor and after filling out a for the receptionist took me to the back so they can check my arm for the veins i asked if they can only check my right arm because on my left arm I had my nexplanon and I feared it might break if they squish it too much and the lady checking my veins procedes to put the blue band around my left arm stating she needs to check both after I just told her only my right arm and she hurt my arm and stormed off I think it's very immature
Went to donate today well tried, the receptionist, took my driver license, and social security, and didn't say anything, then went back there for interview and chart creation, and I got the rudest, female, she said my social security and my driver's license didn't match, and I said we'll I've never had a problem I do my taxes and the ORS takes it, and she said raising her voice, (ma'am I'm just letting you know, we don't take id's like this I told her you don't have to raise your voice, I was just poin
I hate how some of the technicians hate their job and show it. Too many times i was manhandled and had bruising on my arms I can't speak for everyone but many of the employees lack empathy and professionalism. Several of them need a lot more training.
This place is awesome!! The staff treats you very nice and respectful and try to make you feel as much comfortable as they can. Being my 1st time they helped and guided me in an awesome way.
This place use to be one of the best donating place to good but now they became like there competitors you all know our plasma is worth a lot so why are you guys stealing money from us 50$ for plasma is crazy they used to pay 75 to 80 on donations with bonuses on the 6th or 8th time now they just give you 50 WOW ??
My name is Dulce Renee Sosa. The first time I donated plasma on Monday 11/16/2020 it was awesome and the staff was so friendly. Then I went again yesterday at 11/20/2020 it was a terrible experience almost from start to finish. Yes I get it was almost closing time but that isn't an excuse to give terrible customer service. As soon as I walked in the phlebotomists that assisted me was not friendly or smiling in the least bit. It was just super transactional and going through the motions. She made me feel so
Don't use their app to do the pre-screen questionnaire, it's supposed to be more convenient. I was told I had to see the nurse for an arm check because I used the app. I asked the lady if I would have to wait in line she said yes. Even though I just watched a guy at the end of the line get seen before everyone else who wad waiting in line.. After waiting 40 minutes to see the nurse I just left.
Low pay! know two different locations that pay 50 dollars More and still have monthly prices. Not like them that it's either a price raffle or bonus and at times they don't have any!!!! Even if your a gold member and have been donating more the 100 times with them.
Horrible a "New girl" saposally!! Did this to my Husband. He lost alot of blood and was poked incorrectly he didn't have bruising at first but as days passed his arm started looking worse by the day it's been 2 weeks now and this is his arm he is still in pain , and all they can say is they are sorry! Going to contact a attorney soon For advise. Ps. He had been To To BPL before and never have they ever left him like this!
Nancy the nurse has a bad attitude and is very rude. Shouldn't he a nurse if it's an obligation girly.
Great donation place and wonderful hard working staff, especially their assistant manager, Mr. Felipe Gonz?lez, he is aways so friendly, eager to help to improve your donation experience and answer any questions you might have. Excellent customer service.
Derek, Magda , and Tommy are top tier Highly recommend them
excellent customer service!
terrible experience they had me go through so many questions and exams even though ive already done the whole beginning process and not only that they poked at me way to many times and my arm had a growing bruise along the week, also they waste time they said the process would take max an hour ive been here outside waiting for my friend for abt three hours
Was here way before these other Mexicans. And got served last. I waited already over 2 hours once seated. Still here not stuck.
Fast easy and kind staff! They always know what they are doing, they get me started fast and as soon as I'm done they let me go!
This is a great center!! This Assistant Manager Felipe knows how to make you feel very welcome. Overall great costomer service!
Good at finding my vein that grifols couldn't find??
My first time donating plasma was kind of scary inside but the staff made me feel at ease. The staff really makes it easy to return to donate. Csl plasma employees keeps their facility really clean and also sanitize the stations thoroughly so it makes me feel safer in this epidemic. Just simply thanks csll plasma for everything.
I came to donate a second time and yet they didn't let me because they said I had bruising around where they put the needle then I felt so uncomfortable because they had me with 2 male personals no female . I felt like they were judge me they had no filter and didn't know how to talk to a female and I felt uncomfortable since I walked into the room I don't know you guys are okay with that what if something would have happen it's there word against mine and yet that's okay to do I never felt unwelcome and so
Good customer service.
Edgar is the best and nices gut hes always helpful. He answers my question and make sure im not hurting. Overall great staff. Fast donation time
Always great customer service. Fast new customer processing. Lots of great techs.
This is the plasma center i have ever been to
You have to speak up when you finish or you'll be skipped. They need to have a better order in who finished first I was skipped 2x.
CSL Plasma in McAllen is a nice and clean environment for donating plasma. Best customer service and professional staff, always friendly and attentive to provide the best donor experience.
They'll defer you if you disclose mental health diagnoses.
The place is spotless and the staff is polite unlike other CSL centers I been to that have dried blood all over the place. Spectacular job keep it up.
They are taking WAY TOO MUCH because they are in short supply. DO NOT GO HERE!!! My wife had to go to the ER because they're pushing the limits of what should be taking.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
