I've donated here about 10 times when in need of cash and have been satisfied. The check-in process is generally quick and water/crackers are provided. The staff is always wonderfully friendly. I left off the fifth star because of the long wait AFTER you've donated. More than once I've sat waiting to get ?unhooked? for longer than the actual donation itself took. I'm currently writing this review in the chair and the machine stopped over 15 minutes ago. If the staff put as much energy into unhooking you as

Honestly this place has gone down over the years. You're better off door dashing for money than trying this place. Expect everything to be your fault when it goes wrong and for them to never take accountability. Because I updated my name I lost 100$ I have yet to get even after a year. They just tell em to do all of this stuff and I do and I still never get it! IF YOU DONT ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DONT COME HERE!!!! If everyone came together we could change the way they run this place. It's truly disgusting what

There's been a common denominator going one at this location, inconsistency always. It is despicable? i always ask the staff ( unhappy folks) , I talk to management ( they try), I email corporate ( no response). They have upgraded machines recently & yes they're faster. Sadly everything else is slower, so they're of no help. & now 1/2 of the machines are down, why is this they are all brand new. For several years Ive been donating at this center & it's always a slow process they just can't to get it togethe

Ive been going to CSL now for over a year now. Before i was donating for 8 years at a different plasma center. I'd like to say that ALL of the plasma staff are fast, experienced, kind and hard working. If you want to make a difference and extra money then this is the place. There may be some waiting but it's the time I catch up on things or read. It's not for everyone tho cuz you have to be pretty healthy and don't mind the needle. Follow the guidelines because they are true and you will be fine.

Coming back after a 2 year or so break, Reward is lower and wait times are longer, some workers look as if they don't want to be there and seem to wonder around for no reason when machines could be set up and people can be put in chairs. When I did the physical I was hounded about smelling of marijuana by the medical staff that processed me, when I don't have it in my car or home nor consumed in the previous 4+ months. The problem is not being ?busy? the problem is poor work ethic, workers and people manage

I've been a Platinum donor for 3 years, but with the hour changes, first from 6AM to 6:30 AM, then from 6:30 AM to 7AM, it makes it impossible for me to continue to donate and still be able to get to work on time. It's really unfortunate, because having someone close to me, need a treatment that required plans, this was very important to me.

Worst customer service ever. They happened to bruise both my arms and I had to use warm compresses to make one go away. Then medical told me I couldn't donate because my arm looked red. Then he was extremely rude to me and walked away. They bruised both my arms and acted like it was my fault. I would give zero stars if I could. Picture is of bruised arm and the one I felt looked fine but still got denied.

The only reason people.go here is because there is no where else to donate in the area. Plan on being there at least 4 - 5 hours because the employees are slow. Management keeps lowering the amount we get but the wait time gets longer. Always see employees standing around. They are rude. If you ask a question they get mad at you. Half the staff are scary and I refuse to go here when it's dark because I don't feel safe. This place is a joke.

Last time I went, their attitude wasn't very good. Left me and a few other donors waiting for 20 minutes after the machine was done. I taken off the pressure cuff and they threatened to defer me. Gave me $30 by the end of it and probably won't be doing that again.

ive donated for over 10 years and theres always always always always a bottleneck somewhere wether it be in screening in waiting for a chair or the countless times ive been sent to the nurse for an invisible bruise when the plethera of homeless junkie folk slide right through. it always takes 3-5 hours to simply donate they always have some excuse 0 solutions and just say ?sorry? theyll limit screeners to a lobby if 30 people or they limit phlebotomists on the floor. always with some excuse. low staff new m

I'm rating this a 5 so people can see through the bots: Disrespectful workers. The lack of customer service, as well as the constant amount of understaffing that has become normalcy over the years. Insufficient pay to the individuals giving their plasma so the horrendously greedy pharma companies can sell the product for as much as 15 times the amount to sickly patients. Long wait times and frequent machine failures. As of recently, they have removed their bonus structure from their app. I have been coming

Worst experience ever, staff refuses to except responsibility for their mistakes and get rude argumentative and sling insults. I'm guessing it's because they're the only plasma center in town, but I don't put up with that crap so screw them

Service is usually slow, but with how busy it is and how small the staff is, I'm not too surprised. They're always nice and prompt with issuing payment so that's good. We did get our gas siphoned here, so security could use some tightening. Overall we'll be back, though now we won't leave our car completely unattended. Just things to be aware of. Update to review: I've been coming here consistently for almost two months now and I have yet to be disappointed. Things have improved so much since my last revie

After 6 years of donating they found out I'm epileptic and say I'm not allowed because my plasma isn't safe or whatever but they never had a problem for the 6 years I was donating???? just don't tell em and they probably won't find out

Screening takes longer than donating ridiculous 1 screener and 20 people in line after waiting 2hrs I ended up leaving whoever does the scheduling should be fired and they need to hire more people since I've been going over a year now they have gone straight down hill never enough workers to handle the people and I drblove from grants pass just to leave without donating and less gas and now hating this place

I've been donating at this center for 9 years. My most recent visit included some of the worst service I've experienced in that time. I believe the floor was understaffed on this occasion, which happens and isn't my criticism. However, when I communicated to the staff that I had been looked over they were dismissive and continued to ignore me. I would not recommend this center for any new prospective donors.

Have gone a few times now and the service has been great. The wait was admittedly long the first time but that's only because they have to do medical screening and questionnaires (they do warn you that your first time will take 4-6 hours). After that should only take about 3. They are quick to help if you have a bad reaction like I did and are very nice. You get paid immediately on a prepaid card type thing and can use it anywhere. I would recommend.

When there's 30 people in the lobby waiting maybe have more than one person doing the screenings. Or maybe understand how to schedule employees breaks better because sending multiple screeners to break at the same time with a full waiting room is just piss poor management. Some of these screeners just wonder around talking to other employees, leaving their booth unattended with a waiting room full of people.

I was deferred for having schizophrenia, they claimed to have a on staff doctor that said i need to be on medication and having zero schizophrenic symptoms before i give plasma. I explained to them even after being on medication for 5 years there is not such a thing as zero base line for having symptoms. They replied "yes it is" and i asked if their doctor was educated in psychiatry and they said something like "he does psychological". My psychiatrist and therapist volunteered to write a statment on why a z

Terrible experience. I have a wife and 6 kids and needed to get some money to make ends meet and they won't accept me as a donor strictly because of where I live. Really sneaky way of discrimination because I'm black. I hope someone gives those racist punks what they deserve.

I wanted to give 5 stars because most of the time I've gone it's been a pleasant experience. I've had a few not so pleasant experiences as well but nothing to right a review over. Until now. I've had 3 DIFFERENT employees that stick the needle in our arms fish around with the needle IN MY ARM. It was extremely painful and when I said I was in pain I was ignored. It was very heartbreaking to be told "have any questions ask" and then totally ignored. Badly need to retrain or actually train their staff.

I thought I would give plasma donation a try but this place changed my mind. They are rediculously slow to move donors through the process. The people who work in the area that they process you through before you get a chair are very rude. It's worse than being at the DMV.

The staff is great! But unfortunately there are so few staff members that it often takes 3 to 4 hours to complete your regular donation. They say mornings are better but it still seems to take 2 to 3 hours. Need more staff! Other facilities I've been to have been better staffed with the process taking 1.5 to 2 hours.

Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is cause I kinda feel robbed and with the recent longer wait times I feel more robbed? I saved so many points and bought a lot of VIP cards a couple years ago (points that could have been used for money) now I have 9 vip cards that I'm not even allowed to use? so now I'm out points that could be money and a batch of unusable cards

I've been donating for almost a year at the medford location. The people that work in the front check in are so rude. Especially (Angie Stone) the manager. There was a big mistake about my medical. I twice brought in paperwork they asked for I was deferred 6 months then 4 months then a year back to 4 months. Then Angie called told me on the phone I was a lier and said she has the power and she's going to to deffer me for life. I felt very ganged up on was not herd They are very unprofessional. I will n

Today missed veins. 4 hrs later. Clogged filters? No one even remotely checked anything. Completely ruined entire day. Bummer. Can tell it wouldn't matter if you explained it to the staff... the look says it all. Don't care

I have been donating for years here but lately every time I come in they aren't excepting VIP cards and the wait times are way longer than I'm used to. I've been a gold doner countless times but I haven't donated in a month and I don't plan to return until they speed the process back up. Maybe they should think about paying their employees better and they might retain some decent ones that stick around..

Waited here for 5 hours and their "computers stopped working" so I was unable to be seen. They offered me 10 dollars and didn't even give me the card that has the 10 dollars on it. This place is understaffed and they don't give you an accurate estimate of how long you'll wait. Only come here if you're really desperate. Have been to other plasma donation places before and this was by far the worst experience I've had at one.

Today is the 2nd of February 2023, really wanted to show gratitude upon Amber F. She is very genuine and hard working. Praise and credit very much do to her, does an outstanding service for our community. They are very understaffed and it's incredible how she keeps charging forward with a great sense of urgency. Thank you for your hard work Amber!

The majority of the time most of the employees here seem like they hate their job, and they are pretty dry and kind of rude to the donors. I honestly hate coming here because of the overall vibe of the place. No one seems like they want to be here , they all seem really annoyed and over their job. It's not very welcoming. One of the employees Andrea, was taking my vitals and she just was not welcoming at all and made me uncomfortable to talk to her or just to be there.

Been coming here regularly for over 2 years. Even though I do get deferred every now and then, which is completely my own doing, every time is still a great experience. Friendly people, calm environment, and a great way to earn some extra money while supporting medicine that helps tons of people.

Staff is generally kind but most of the newer staff seems under trained or uneducated in the field. Gloves are not changed from patient to patient, only sanitized with hand sanitizer. When asked about this to Staff I was told it is not mandatory. Being as they work with blood and many different patients, you would think keeping clean gloves on would be of top priority. As someone who works in the medical field, this is really unacceptable. This is one rule that should be followed regardless. Every pat

Easy way to help save lives and make some extra money for food/gas/rent/car payment/savings/etc. the place can be ridiculously busy sometimes and their VIP system doesn't work as well as it should. Also, some of the newly trained associates don't do a great job at poking you but I guess they need to learn somehow right? Been going for over a year straight, no major issues to report.

They don't allow donations by the homeless. I am currently preparing a lawsuit to address their blatant discrimination. My name is Austin. If I were to walk in today they would tell me by blood is not worthy. They will explain why in front of a judge.

It was a good experience, but the bathrooms there are nasty and I didn't see the nurses clean the arm cup after patience were done. But other then that it was good. I didn't like how I finished before a few people and kinda felt like I was gonna pass out those people were unhooked first, I'd understand if they finished first but they didn't. I sat on the machine for an extra 15 minutes, it was uncomfy and again I felt like passing out.

I went in to donate some blood and I was told I should not donate using my left arm because there was a bruise. I saw medical they evaluated me and they gave me a slip to give to the phlebotomist explaining not to use my left arm. What did the phlebotomist do? She insisted I use my left arm. Now I have a sore massive bruise... Go figure. Next time I come in could you at least try to treat me like you treat the rest of your donors? Being treated like I'm the unworthy of even basic respect and attention isn't

I want to say this. Yesterday was my first time here and although most of the staff was very nice. I had a very rude encounter with one of them. An old white lady by the name of Sue took me back to do my interview process. At first she seemed nice but soon came to realize she was very passive agressive. When we were doing the interview process. She asked me about all my tattoos and piercings. And asked me if I had any back tattoos. I told her no and she continued to press the issue. LIKE I dont know my own

I donated toda and secret one of your staff members made me feel very comfortable with my donation,. She made me smile and feel welcome, i would definitely come back just because i felt appreciated as a donor and person. Would totally recommended it super friendly people.

This place is aweful!! Waited over an hour in the green chair to donate!!! Only one medical technician on duty!! Finally left need to put another one of these in Grants Pass!!! ?? ??

Please donate plasma. It saves countless lives. As with most places of this manner, there is a wait, so be prepared for that, but don't let it discourage you from saving lives.

Friendly service but that waiting area is super stuffy and has no airflow whatsoever despite there being what I presume to be a broken AC unit. The more people and the hotter it is outside the worse the Effect

Totally awesome way to make an extra $100 a week. The staff is funny and nice, and it's a lot faster than it used to be. If you've never been there before, the vetting process is intense, but if you give MY NAME as a reference, we will BOTH make more money!! (Wade Kentopp)

Over 16 years, I've donated at 7 different CSLs, from Portland to Orlando, to Riverside CA. The friendliness and welcome nature of the staff at the Medford center are by far the best experience of them all.

I had been a donor here for five years, off and on. To this date I have been a donor for nine years now. I am originally from Sacramento and would often visit family back home. After finishing school in Ashland I moved to Eugene. I started donating plasma with a different company in Eugene. Sometimes on my trips back home it crossed my mind to stop in Medford and donate plasma to help pay for the trip. Usually there was an a problem. Until one time I miss calculated days between donations or something lik

I usually don't mind this place, but as I'm writing this review, I'm sitting in the same chair that I've been sitting in for over 30 minutes not waiting to be called back. This place sent a bunch of staff home this morning on account of it being ?too slow? and they weren't equipped to deal with the mass influx of people at 10:00am. I shouldn't have to sit here and waste a lot of my time, because the supervisors here misjudged how busy a SATURDAY would be. This is why idiots shouldn't be put in charge. Step

My first time donating ever, and I found the staff very informative, friendly, and professional. It took awhile to get thru it all, being the first time, and I went at a very busy time. Make sure you have time if it's your first time. No complaints from me! I will be returning!!!

Waiting here in line to be screened for what is to be my 4th plasma donation. I have nothing but good things to say about this place - never thought I would consider becoming a regular donor, but now I am! First of all, they need healthy strong people to donate. The blood draws are virtually painless. The staff are highly trained and very good. When I first came, my main worry was the needle stick, but I have always had it turn out to be fine. If you relax it really is no big deal. Like I said, these guys

Typical experience at one of these places, staff is always talking loudly in the back to each other joking cursing. Unprofessional atmosphere where they make about ten times what they pay you for your time. If you want to make a few bucks selling your plasma to them so they can sell it to a hospital then it's not an overall bad place.

Be prepared to wait forever. Was there 4 hours the 1st time then some mean lady decided I has a bruise and eadnt able to donate, forget this place. There are also used needles in the parking lot. terrible experience ??

Donated for months with no issues, but they don't tell you all the basic reasons you can get deferred. Like a piercing. If you get a new piercing you'll get deferred one year even if you do it professionally. They need to up their game because it's ridiculous that they don't tell you everything. If I'd known that I wouldn't have risked it because now I'm likely to be homless. Thanks so much for that.

Wasn't bad besides obviously the large needle in the vein, I got signed up and donated in about 3 hours. Some food and water was provided which is nice

The Kiosks suck. They claim they have 2/4 working yet one of those wont even read your finger. On a day where they were no where near busy I spent 25-30 mins just waiting to get poked. This woman had me wait for her while she spent her sweet time conversating with the other people there. If they had any other center in Medford THATS where Id be going.

I donated yesterday dec.21 and still have not received payment, I have been on the phone now for over 10 minutes now. Don't even like going any more because there senior stickers can't get my vien right and have to endure nerve pain threw the entire process.

I spent 2 hours there in Medford, watched the video did the visit, past their little physical with flying colors only to be told that I can't donate because I don't drink anymore and the fact I go to a group for support means I would have to wait 6 MONTHS!!!! really!! Yet Joe shmo can lie to them just to get the money for there next sac.I WILL NEVER GO BACK, SHAME ON THERE NURSE!! TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T FIND THE "Q&A LADY" WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME... 1/4 STAR AT THE MOST!!

Donating plasma isn't as scary as most people think. The first visit takes a few hrs since you need to be entered into their system, but normally you can be in and out in under 2 hrs. The staff are pretty fun and entertaining and its not so bad when you get stabbed. Every time you donate you get paid.

I had a great experience with them. They were super friendly, they took great care of me. Everything was triple checked and secure. I appreciate everything.

I've been selling plasma for more than 5 years now. You can't be a hero here if you don't have an address. If you want to "work around" the address problem, don't be homeless or be a poor college student trying to avoid being homeless while finishing their degree after the fires forced you and your family out of their homes. I can't even sell plasma here because I live in a shelter. However, dorm living is different. Shame on csl plasma in medford. I wish there was a negative score to give.

It's nice to save lives. But they are very discriminating over old tattoos from 20 years ago and would not let me donate because of "GANG TATTOOS" they don't wanna save lives that damn bad.

I've been donating plasma for 38 years with CSL in 3 different locations in 3 different states in my lifetime

I've been donating for about 4 yrs... only issue has been my low hematicrite(sp?) level.. Now, due to fire in January 2017, everything I own, including my purse containing ALL, ID ,CC's,etc ~ CSL card, was burned beyond recognition... I call to get a replacement card mailed to me~ i am told a fee of $6.75 Will be charged, and deducted from my next donation!! I've not been there,to donate since the fire... How in thee he** can they do this??!!! It's MY time, it's MY plasma, it's insane to think I can be be

There's a nurse in there that is very rude it will they abandoned me from coming in there even though I don't take medication anymore I really need the money and they need to fix their policy

Waited way too long to watch every person in the lobby to get taken before me even after I came in. They don't pay extra for the covid antibodies which they get mass money for. Not worth the time!

Changing my review to a 5. Manager was very friendly, and addressed my issues. :)

Absolutely the most unorganized business. Customer service is definitely lacking. I get short staffed but the staff you have shouldn't be rude and incompetent at the job.

They denied me cause I had brown pride tattoo trying to say I was gang affiliated when im just proud to be hispanic. All I wanted to do was donate to save lives. I dont think blood discriminates on who the person came from.

They just can't keep things flowing. A donation use to take an hour and thirty minutes. Now it takes that long to get through their waiting line and 3 hours for the whole process.

Family friendly like team. Rocky is my faveorite

Great service. All the staff are kind and welcoming. The process was thorough and efficient. Margaret on the donor floor was awesome!

I love the laid back attitude of the workers, I tell them jokes and make their day easier. They probably deal with some real nut cases... Me included!

Super long wait times are back in full force. Be prepared to wait an hour+ just to get screened. Then another 45 minutes to get into a bed.

Computers went down right when it opens . Waited for 3+ hours... nobody knows what's going on. To top it off they're being sued by two ppl from southern Oregon

Amber and her staff are the best

Not sure what is up with all of the negative comments lately, I went today for the first time and everything was fine and everyone working was really nice.

Well apparently if you've ever in your life taken certain medication for certain things you cannot donate.but if you take that same medication for another reason you can. This place is a joke

Pleasant staff. Much quicker then it used to be. 600$ in three weeks can't complain.

Nice place, but every single time I've gone I've had to wait over an hour just to get screened

Friendly, helpful staff! I enjoy being part of something bigger than me.

I guess Fridays are busy.

Customer service is going down hill fast with some of the new employees

I have been donating for 4 years and I have only good things to say about CS?.

Been coming here a long time. I don't care for how the staff talk down to othe not on this list.

It's quick for me once I'm in the bed I'm done in 27 minutes?

If I wanted a clown show, I'd go to the circus.

Not bad at all, is just takes alot time to wait

Bring a jacket or a blanket cuz your gonna get cold. Drink and eat something before you come in

Critically understaffed, I'm sure for the sake of one jerkwads bonuses.

Great way to help people and make some extra money too!

They sucked me dry... and I loved it!
