The girls are really great here. Had the sweetest nurse last week when I had to be seen. I just want to give a shout out at how great she is. Morgan is the sweetest, kindest person and I really appreciated her.

I've been here three times total, third time was the charm haha. People, I promise, these workers are not just deciding screw you, leave. They have genuine standards to follow!! For everyone's safety!! If these important vitals aren't paid attention to, things can absolutely go wrong. Take some accountability, go get a nice hearty meal, and drink your water!! Every single encounter I've had with any employee from this facility has been nothing short of amazing, and professional all the way. Even the first t

Decided to start donating plasma back in January of 2023. But because of my bad experience I had at CSL Parma, I held off in fear of a repeat. In May 2023, I finally made that step. And this was after a 5 year hiatus/ going incognito. Knowing how much of a nervous wreck I was, staff at CSL Medina on the first visit were not only reassuring but honest as well. Going by what CSL Medina recommends for those who donate is definitely helpful and seems to work. CSL Parma, I have felt they give you the bare minimu

Went here for several months (probably close-ish to a year) a couple years ago. Most of the staff at the time was very friendly and there was hardly ever much of a wait in line since the surrounding area isn't really stricken with much poverty. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because at the time I was told that they ?couldn't? use my left arm to draw blood/plasma because of the tattoos. But they'd always tell me this AFTER feeling for a vein in the left arm. Since then I've gone to 4 different pla

The most frustrating experience- I have donated plasma previously at different establishments, but recently moved and wanted to try CSL Medina out. When I walked in there were 4-5 employees behind the counter chatting away, and no one greeted me for the first two minutes I was standing there. They are overly picky about paper work, giving me problems with paperwork I have used at other establishments saying "we aren't the other places." My W2 had my middle initial instead of my full middle name which for so

Worst place to go to . The one nurse she got me deferred from any CSL saying I could not answer the questions right but my questions were all ready answered just be waiting for a call from me cause u won't like what I have to say and this was last Tuesday and I just found out today I can't ever go back to CSL I'll be sure she don't have her job when I get done with her

Donated plasma for years at another CSL location. The staff here told me my veins are too small to donate. Who knows. Also drinking 4 liters of water in the 12 hours before is apparently too little water anyways. And the staff also seem to know the amount of food I had for breakfast and that it wasn't enough. (They only asked when I had it). They were fishing for every reason to not work. Never once saw this at the other location. At least I was there for only 10 minutes I guess.

I have been super happy with my experience every step of the way. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I have been donating regularly for a couple months now, and have yet to have a bad experience at this location. It is so quick, I'm usually in and out within an hour and 15 minutes.

Don't recommend this location. Half the staff are nice and half the staff are rude/couldn't care less about you. It's very disheartening when you're trying to do a good thing and you're met with rudeness during your appointment and pain/bruising afterwards. Also, you'll be turned away if you're a ?hard stick? and they'll blame it on you somehow (say you need to drink more water even when you drank a gallon before coming, etc). It honestly feels like many of the workers here don't know what they're doing.

I donate at the Medina location twice a week, all the employees there are awesome. This location everything flows from getting screened to the actual donating the employees are friendly and helpful. If you're looking to make some extra money and help save lives I highly recommend CSL.

I've been donating for about 5 months consistently. I was overwhelmed at first, but anytime I asked anyone a question, they answered with an explanation not just a one or two word answer. The center is always clean and I've never had any issues with any of the staff. I don't know them all by name, but it's nice to see familiar faces each week. I feel safe and comfortable donating and will continue to do so.

I got permanently deferred and told all my donations are getting destroyed due to a tattoo that the Elyria location never documented. It was well over a year ago. I used to love coming to this place. what changed? I guess I'll have to find some place better.

The staff is nice and attentive. I do not have a problem donating with them. I recently donated, and I had an issue with the blood being returned to my right arm. So they switched to my left, and I was able to donate. My right arm had a massive bruise and when I went back, thinking I could use my left, they told me I could not donate due to the severity and nature of my bruise (I understand). I was told to give a call on Friday to talk to their doctor. I can not donate until the doctor signs off that I can.

I love the staff here. Always a pleasant experience, even with newer staff In fact, I recently had a draw done one of their newer phlebotomists Megan for the first time. Not only was it one of the most painless needle sticks I've had in my time donating for almost 2 years, I also had one of my fastest draw times. Definitely worth switching to this center !!!

Friendly, efficient and each experience has been positive. I love donating just because I know I'm helping so many others with something as simple as my plasma.

I've been a plasma donor since 2009. I started out at the CSL in Akron when they were still by Akron University, I have visited other donor centers such as Telacris on Brittian Road, and Octopharma on Hawkins ave, as well as a CSL center located in Hagarstown Maryland. I have learned over the years, that some other places might have a slightly higher payscale than CSL, but usually CSL makes up for that with cleanliness, professionalism, and friendliness, and it's a very slight difference anyway. This facili

Girls are really friendly, weight time is almost nonexistent, I can get in and get out within an hour, never had an issue with being stuck, everything?s gone perfect every time, did I mention everybody?s friendly? Very professional very well managed the nursing staff is great, the people doing the check in and intake are wonderful and do a fabulous job, I highly recommend coming here for donations,

Medina location, so fast , organized, sense of urgency by all the staff . Just personal preference and there is hardly any wait.

Worst experience I've ever had for trying to do something good, the intake girls leave a lot to be desired but the fake nurse is the worst, her last words to me were "At least we only wasted an hour of your time and not 3" Oh and the nice woman had to remind me that my multiple sclerosis was never going to get better even though I'm currently living quite well with no assistance from any doctor or poison medicine, plus they took all my info including biometrics and my ssn, and then just refused me, so They

I would not recommend going to this location! This morning I experienced one of the worse retail experiences ever. Being a first time doner in one of Ohio?s Plasma Centers (Medina.) I was greeted by a girl (Shanese) who apparently did not want to be bothered?approaching me with such an attitude. Then past off to a girl (Hannah) to take a minute to check my veins (while discussing breaks with another staff member) to quickly shoved away, suggesting that I go drink some water and come back another day. I aske

I wish 0 stars was an option. Donated 3 times. The first time the girl went through my vein and I couldn't donate for almost a month bc I had to wait until all signs of bruise were gone. No apology just removed needle, wrapped, and sent me out the door with an ice pack bandaged to my arm. Told me next time I come to drink 2 gallons of water the day before and a gallon the day of that should help (so does not putting the needle through my vein) The 2nd time the girl was great. Had a successful donation act

I'm healthy, just not a marathon runner. I see my pcp regularly. I've donated 2 times in the past. Today my blood pressure was 126ish/80ish with a heart rate of 90ish bpm. I was deferred. There are other donation centers that are more consistent and that don't require you to be in perfect shape. I'll give it one more try but if I'm deferred again I'm going elsewhere.

Things started off ok until the screening part. Employee name of chancye was so rude. She wouldn't speak up or slow down with questions and you can't understand what she is asking or saying, the. If you answer wrong she flips out and runs to get the FBI. I had to tell her manager she need to slow down and speak up. She is aggressive when pulling it finger to stick it for checking the hematocrit levels and she needs a class on customer service. Absolutely not a professional!!

Brooke and Haleigh really got their stuff together. Had a little trouble with the machine toward the end of the process, probably my fault, when they jumped in and resolved the issue instead of just disconnecting. They should seriously be considered for a nice bonus or a decent raise.

Sarah is unprofessional rude ignorant I will never donate here again

I am a member at the Medina location from check in to check out the entire staff is always friendly and attentive to all of the donors it is actually an amazing feat that in my year of coming I have not experienced 1 team member having a bad day The staff and I work together for Liam

Became homeless in Indiana and had to come stay with my mom to get back on my feet. Can't get back on my feet when I can't donate at my local center due to ridiculous rules and hoops to jump through. I'll stand outside with a sign asking people for money since I can't do things the right way. Will not ever be returning to a csl plasma again! Thanks for nothing! ??

Moved from the awful Parma Hts location to this center. SO much nicer and even though it's much further from my house, they get you in and out quickly, unlike Parma Hts. They actually have enough staff at this location. Also, it's brand new and so much nicer and cleaner!

Was a transfer from Parma Hts and thank goodness I did ! This is right around the corner from my home and they get you in and out! Very friendly staff. Clean and very professional !

Very professional, Answer any questions that you have make you feel at ease, very friendly.

5 stars all the way professionals every last one even management is friendly never had any problems with the staff wonderful experience every time 5 stars people best place to donate

The Trainee Akina did a great job was fast and poked on point and didn't damage my veins. Great job!!!

Every reason not to do there jobs here absolutely horrible

Always friendly staff, clean environment, and they get you in and out very quickly! I cannot recommend them enough.

They treat you well there it's a long process but everyone is extremely nice I highly recommend

Thought this was going to be better than the other locations. talk about a wake up call. telling all others to stay away.

Never any problems. All the staff are very nice and respectful.

I absolutely enjoy going to CSL. The ladies there are amazing and make it a pleasure to donate.
