The staff has been great, went this morning and they have new machines. With these new machine's the donation part quicker, although the reward is less. That's right folks... they have lowered the payment. Pretty lame considering the staff took way longer than normal to set up and get people in chairs. I want to emphasize that the staff is not the issue.
I did 30 plus donations here. But today I had the worst experience. After completing my donation . My arm started bleeding. The staff member who was dealing with me seems like newly hired. He left me bleeding and started talking with a senior staff member. Which was slow to respond. Blood was all over my clothes and bed. The supervisor was right in front of me. Just watching me bleeding. Only one young guy came and tried to help me out. They just put the bandage and don't even wanna clean my arm from bloo
This place was the first and last time i choose to ever donate plasma. By far the worst experience. I got an infiltration my second time within 3 days they put the needle in the same arm which i didn't want but they said it would be okay they blamed me for moving my arm but really my vain didn't have enough time to heal. blood everywhere and the doctor just sat there and took his time to clean me up. and i can't get anyone to let me come in and get looked at.They don't ever answer the phone and in person it
I've been donating here for over a year. The staff is great, the company, not so much. They are short staffed. I get it. I don't mind waiting, I'll be patient. Hiring freeze while short staffed. Don't get it. They have had to close early numerous days, resulting in me missing my donation because they don't have the staff and corporate won't let them hire. Not impressed.
I've made 42 donations here, but I'm likely not going to donate with CSL at all anymore. The staff are kind, no offense to them. The main reason for my low score is the new red "Paysign" cards they issued today. The new cards have no way to transfer a balance without getting docked at least $1 - $2 when they have also already reduced the incentive amount. On top of that the new cards have an "Inactivity fee", so they are just going to start deducting money out of my account if I can't donate? This is so stu
It's an okay place . Close enough to home that I was walking there. But they don't have chairs ? Every time I went either my heart rate was too high or blood pressure was. So I would wait till those went down. But then I realized it was because you stand in line for 45 minutes so both of those go up ! Switched places with chairs and haven't been denied yet!
Had issues off and on but my last time donating will probably be it. Donated at this location for almost a year now, 50 donations, and not once has my arm looked or felt like this. The staff that day seemed hurried and I felt like a subject more than a person donating my time and plasma. It's never looked black/purple, almost seems like the vain was tugged on I don't know. Not impressed. I will not be going back.
The staff here is all really nice. Very polite, friendly and good at their jobs. This is the 3rd place at which I have donated plasma over the years, and it is very similar to the other two, in the sense that they use all the same equipment, follow all the same rules & guidelines as other donation centers, and provide a valuable service of extracting plasma. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars, was for the same reason that I've been disappointed with other plasma donation centers: the lack of a sense of urgenc
I love the staff at the Midvale location, other than the staff that don't show up to do their job. It seems like at least once a month the nurse shows up late or not at all, and makes everyone wait around until someone is there to allow the assistants to start poking. Then you have to choose between waiting for someone to show up (with no ETA) or try going to the Salt Lake location, which is even a BIGGER shit show than the Midvale location. Then when you get to the Salt Lake Location you wait in line for 2
Got injured while donating on 06/02 around noon. The lady there just stood around and was giving me an attitude. I had to be the one to request to pause the donation, even though I had a huge visible swelling. Also had to request a manager cause all she did was stand around and give me a nasty attitude.
I couldn't use 0 stars but.. yeah tried mistake location. And super slow. CSL plasma completely degraded. Everyone working is super slowwwwwwww....place is bad service all the way. Can we please get new employees is these centers???
The efficiency here is abysmal. There were 8 people in front of me when I got here, and it took over 2 hours before I got placed in a bed. I've had times where there's only like 3 people in front of me and it'll still take around an hour before getting a bed. I don't understand how this center takes 3-4 times as long to get through donors as any other center I've been to. Edit: found out today that they decreased the pay again. That's like 3 or 4 times in the last couple years they've decreased it. Been don
I've been donating for a while and the past 2 times I've been has probably been the worst experience I've had. I get that it's understaffed so the wait times are a little long but that out of my hands. There's one phlebotomist that was a little rough with the arm I always use. The 2nd time I came in they needed to check my bruise and were able to determine I was ok to use my other arm to donate. The same phlebotomist was getting me set up and I was a little hesitant but gave him the benefit of the doubt and
The guy (david) that does the physical is a creep and doesn't respect boundaries. A had a couple of ladies go before me for a physical and both were visibly shaken after they talked with him. When I went in for my physical, he asked several questions and made comments that were irrelevant to my donation. "What do you do for fun? Any plans for the weekend? This is what I do during the needle stick. Do you wanna know a secret to get extra money per donation? You just have to work here and you'll get extra mo
They don't care about people's time. There's always one person busy and the rest of the people sitting idle. It's very disorganized. If other people are going to sit idle, they should set up a whole counter. Sometimes I feel like they're doing this on purpose so that no one comes.
I requested time off work and went in 6 hours before close on a Wednesday to start the initial process, and they had me wait for an hour and a half in the lobby just to tell me they can't accept new donations today, with still 4 and a half hours before close!!!! Like wtf, staff was so unprofessional and I could hear other workers just playing around and chatting, seems like no management here or care for there customers
Not sure what's going on, but this location has been closing up early without any notification. Twice I've arrived within a 1/2 hour of closing time & the door is locked. No signage, except the hours of operation, but those hours of operation are not correct. Very frustrating.
I don't really get how people are having bad experiences here. I've donated here dozens of times, every employee is super super friendly. Sometimes there is a huge line but it never seems like the employees aren't doing their best to get everyone in, there's just a lot of people to do. I honestly can say I've never had any experience here that made me hesitant to come back. All the employees are great but Kendal is the best. Great job, guys.
I've been donating plasma at various centers and have never had any issues. I'm an English student, and although English is not my first language, I am confident in my abilities and have always communicated well. On my third attempt to donate at this center, I had a disappointing experience, though I am thankful for the first nurse who helped me. She assisted me through the initial screening in English; we were able to talk, she collected my information, and we communicated well. However, when it came time
The employees at the 7200 S CSL are amazing. I've been going there for over a year and they all know who you are, and always say hello. If you are hesitant to donate plasma just ask for a senior phlebotomist. The one down fall is they can't find good help and it's quite a slow. They need a reliable team So they can speed up the process. Five stars for the customer service.
Went in to talk to the manger Cassidy and she was super rude. They don't have very good people skills. She actually acted like she was better then people. It's crazy when these people are giving up there time to Save lives and she needs to treat them like that. Hopefully someone of importance will see this and do Something about it. 2.8 stars is horrible. Step up your customer service??
If I can give this place a no star rating I would Sheryl is very rude and dose not care she is very unprofessional and not nice at all she said some hurtful things to me
I have been a couple times and I have had THE best experience so far! Everyone is very nice. The intake nurse is so kind and respectful. I will update her name when I go back. She is so welcoming!! Alex is a freakin boss at being quick and efficient! She is excellent despite being one of the newest! I will look for her every time!! Katherine is amazing and so friendly!! I will definitely be donating here regularly!!
I understand places are short staffed but my husband has tried donating three times and has been turned away because the person seeing new donors just doesn't show up. Maybe if you see a new donor on your schedule, call them and cancel because driving all the way down there, waiting 45 minutes for someone just not to show up and be turned away is ridiculous.
If I had seen these terrible reviews I would never have come! In reality it turned out to be the same! The staff is not friendly, they don't care about you, at first I made an appointment online, they didn't accept me and said that they don't have an appointment online, the first time I needed it only in the morning, then I waited at the reception for a long time, after which I spent a lot of time in the office doctor, I did not understand a couple of questions, since English is not my native language, to w
I got a bruise from the donation center from them sticking the needle too far. The return puffed up my arm and bruised it. Got sent home on my next donation because of the bruise. They told me a doctor would be coming to review cases and they would call me. No call and when I call them no one answers. I've called at least 10 times in the past 2 days and still no answer.
Honestly i was excited to become a first time donor !! The wait times are incredibly ridiculous the website says its a 2 hour process for new donors but its more like a 5 hour process. The staff is so unfriendly i was turned away 3 times i didnt even make it to the physical exam all because of short staffing. Witch I completely understand but the second time i came inn they said that they were having tech problems okay..3 time is the charm they say so i came inn today and said that theres no one to answer
Well I wanted to donate to CSL plasma cause of its closeness and wanted to help make a difference. Did all my background work online and on the app. Apparently though the appointment schedule is not in correspondence to the actual store when we arrived. First was told by one person it would be a three hour process. The next lady who was gonna start with us then told us it was gonna be five hours. Why did I make an appointment then if your app doesn't have any correspondence to your actual store. You might w
Made an appointment! Came in there was not one person at the counter! Then two more walked in without an appointment! They got helped and I was told to come back!!! This is unprofessional!
AVOID THIS PLACE!! >:o Staff is so unfriendly and not helpful at all!!! They are always short staffed and seem like they hate their jobs! I filled out my questionnaire online, as usual, and went in to the center to donate. I was told by an employee that I would need to start the process all over again because I hadn't been to the center in six months. (Fine). However, another employee stepped around the corner and and yelled, "we are not taking new donors/lapsed donors anymore today". Mind you it was only
This place has been pretty great, not a huge fan of donating, but it helps out especially when you're not working at the moment. And it's a win, win as far as I'm concerned? All the entire staff make things go pretty smoothly, efficiently and so on. Special shoutout to Cameron! Total stud of a dude. He's more than great at getting you checked in and getting your vitals.. Emerald also goes above and beyond when donating plasma. Thanks to all the CSL plasma staff you're all truly amazing!!
Wow! My first experience for a Plasma Donation Center was a 10/10! I'm not one to post any reviews ever, but if you're afraid of needles they have a special person for you! His name is Perry! Back story, he told me to relax my fist after the needle goes in. Well I never released my fist because I didn't feel a thing!! I had to ask once more unaware the needle had already been placed. He talked me through it all, and probably saw the nervousness. Outstanding, kind and patient care here! I'll be returning in
Why cant none of these Plasma places wrap your arm corrwctly so that my blood doesnt leak out, soak thru, etc. Recently this has been A MAJOR Issue with All Plasma Centers... This place is SO SLOW, when they gonna hire more employees, this is a ridiculous wait...and they bring new donors to front of line which Now the line doesnt move at all with lack of employees. YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE!!!
I've donated for 2 years, and I've never once experienced any issues with the machines to donate or the machines for checkup but this one time the thermometer or whatever it's called that checks my temperature kept messing up the temperature reading and kept saying the same message along the lines of, "make sure to make skin contact", I did and I even pushed it hard against the back of my tongue which hurt. On my first one it read 101.2 then 80 something, then she does a retake and says "we'll try that agai
Update your hours please! I live almost 45 minutes away just to get there at 6:45 for a 7:00 am open time and the hours are 9:00 now.( Didn't see update on website) Made me a little upset. Also, the wait times are a bit ridiculous most days. If you aren't there right when the doors open plan on a good 3hours at this center. One( sometimes 2) people doing vitals and 3-4 people in back doing pokes. This center needs more people to work. ADDING TO MY REVIEW: Called the center and asked about new donors s
0 stars - DO NOT DONATE HERE - I have had the pleasure of donating hundreds of times to save lives across at least five different plasma donation companies since 2010. This is by far the worst. My last experience the manager told me to leave after I told her I didn't feel safe. They had vagrants storming in and out of the front reception area. The guy looked very deranged, dirty, and dangerous. He pretended to be on the phone and ranting to himself. Any normal manager that had the safety of their staf
They are pretty good but very slow, the line is always very long and is often almost reaching out the door. There are a lot of "characters" that donate Here as well making it hard to keep the blood pressure down while waiting in line
The best place. Always laughing with the staff. Charlene Up front is always so nice she see?s so many people a day. But the min she see?s me. She always calls me by name. And thats without giving her my info first. Again. Great people great place.
Staff could use more training. They misted an easy stick in one arm and then went for my second arm hit a nerve and when I told them to take it out because I was in pain got an attitude.
Absolutely horrible! I got my vitals checked and she entered them incorrectly. She admitted she did and apologized but I had to go sit at the nurse section for 15 minutes. I asked the nurse if she could help bring me to the front because they made a mistake and I had already waited for 20 minutes and the rude and snotty Sonia was blatantly rude and said no I can't do that! I have been coming here for a year and a half and am so disappointed with this kind of rudeness. The mistake was made by her not me. Ple
Asked basic questions on my account, and the person talking to me had an angry tone when I was just asking a question. Csl removed my email from my account, preventing me from logging in through the app forcing me to use the kysosk. When using the kyosk I had forgot to do the final finger scan, when I went back to check to make sure to scan, a representative was using the kyosk I used helping a different customer, i asked him if there was anything on there before he went on right after me and he said there
The staff are really nice and I want to give a shout out to Chastity for being a great person that provides top tier service. Because of the staff I want to give 5 stars, however the staffing levels destroy this. This morning there were 14 people in line waiting for their screening to be done. The issue was that there was 1 employee performing this task. Please understand that each screening takes 6 minutes. This equates to hours of wasted time for the donors. Line staff you provide 5 star service. M
The Staff here is Amazing & Very Welcoming, Very Accommodating!! I've Only been to 2 Plasma Centers and this one is by far the best!!! I highly recommend it!!! But Don't take my word for it, go check it out yourself!!!
Been waiting for over 3 hours as a new donor and I'm still waiting to answer the questions and they just bumped me further back in line. They are not busy at all, what's going on?
Yes the initial visit is very long (so plan on 2 1/2- 3 hour wait.) BUT after that it's been a smooth experience. The place is older looking but clean. I appreciated the effort to constantly wipe down after everything patient. All the staff are very friendly! Your privacy for the initial question and testing is private but when doing the actual donating it's in an open room where we're all hooked up to machines like something out of the matrix ?? there was bruising but that's to be expected. Not painful but
I would do 0 stars if possible! I'm here donating right now. After being painfully adjusted numerous times an employee by the name of Kendall decided to verbally assault me for getting annoyed about adjusts how she spoke to me was absolutely disgusting, it's my body and my choice!!! I will not be coming here anymore just because of her please fix something with your employees. A coworker of hers overheard my frustration and said she was having a bad day and taking it out on me. That is absolutely unaccepta
I've came in here for the past year or more on n off. The staff here are very lazy up front. Leave you waiting for medical for 20 mins, while there is a nurse just sitting there not doing anything. The staff will randomly leave while there is a line of people waiting to be checked in. It just keeps getting worse. You can be standing in line making eye contact with them n all the sudden they just get up and walk away for 10 minutes while your waiting to get checked in. It definitely seems like poor managemen
Staff was all nice, and explained everything well. I was checked on several times during my donation to make sure I was comfortable. Overall a positive experience. The only negative was that it took a long time(4 hours) from the time I got there to the time I left. But I understand I was there at a particularly busy time of day so there really wasn't anything they could have done to make it quicker.
I was called a racist by the staff and was antagonized by the staff on my 1st day because I went from the computer to the kiosk and was told to be respectful of the staff even though I was following every instruction. I was then told to consent to a random drug test which is illegal and unlawful and when I questioned Matt cussed me out. Now you want me to call you? Why? I'm gonna take my services elsewhere and I will enlighten the public that they DO NOT have to consent to the unconstitutional and unlawful
Under staffed! You spend more time waiting (no chairs to sit while you wait) than other centers. The employees will talk about their personal lives with each other while they're supposed to be sticking a needle in your arm. I overheard one employee recant their Christmas stories, even though it's April. Another employee seems to have a very active social life. They talked about all the people who message them at 1AM while the phlebotomist was supposed to be hooking me up to the machine. Plan on it taking
All of the CSL plasma donation centers are a complete and utter joke. I have never been to a more garbage donation center in my life. The lines are absolutely horrendous. The employees are extremely rude. They are the slowest plasma center in utah. I don't care how much money they offer. It will never be enough.
Chasity was amazing I've never done(completely) this before but I have tried to do it twice in the past but both time as soon as they poked me with the needle they ruined my arm and vein causing instant bruising. Making me want to get up and leave instantly. Chasity did it so fast and so good I didn't feel any pain and left with no marks or bruising. She is the goat. I will be returning and making sure she is the one to assist me.
the staff is nice, but everyone there is extremely slow. there is no sense of urgency and wait times are ridiculous for new donors. they don't check up on you or let you know how long you're expected to wait. they also do vitals as the very last step so if you don't pass, all that time getting everything set up is wasted and they turn you away. it was the slowest time of day, there were barely any people there and i waited 3 hours to get started?..they will pull you out of line and make you see the LPN if y
I usually don't write reviews but this is ridiculous. I'm a new donor and went in yesterday after a semi far travel. I also called multiple times to not get an answer then to show up and be told to come back tomorrow due to lack of staff. I showed up the following morning to be told the exact same thing. ?They don't have enough staff to assist us? there was a couple literally next to me with the exact same experience. Very unprofessional for the company/ management to not even have a pre recording at minima
I absolutely love this location every one who works here are truly amazing people. This is the best location to donate at. Highly recommend this location anyone who comes here acknowledge chastity ????????
Super annoying. Website states no appointment necessary and taking new patients. I call for 2 days in a row just to be sure I have the correct information. No one answers the phone, ever. So I drive there ready to donate according to all the tips they give on the website, take all documentation and have 2.5-3 hrs of time set aside just to be told "we're not taking new patients". Then answer the phone to answer questions or don't advertise you are taking new patients! I highly value my time cause I alw
I got to CSL Plasma and the first there was nobody at the front desk, but that just means that the workers are helping people come. It did take a little bit of time to get me started like you would if you are a new donor, but they were there to help and make sure that they were doing everything to fix if there was any problems. My process took a little bit longer than I expected, because I had to figure out a few things, but they stuck with me and took care of me, and so it was a wonderful experience from t
The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes the lines are long but that's mostly during peak time periods. They're affected by staff shortages sometimes but even then they work their best to get people through quickly. The lobby and donation area has always been clean and orderly. I used to donate at Octapharma and have found both the pay and the overall experience to be much better at CSL.
Great professional staff, and very friendly. No complaints about them. HOWEVER... I just came here to offer WARNING anyone who uses the North Lane card for POS purchases. Take your money out in CASH. Certain merchants (like the 7-11 across the street) will cause North Lane to lock up your card FOR UP TO EIGHT DAYS! I just went to get some gas with my CSL Plasma card and will NEVER use it again.
UPDATE: CSL stepped up and made things right with missed bonus payout. Times have gotten shorter, avg is 2 hrs. Last donation was just under 90 minutes. Liz and Joyce are Awesome! 2 to 3 hour process on average. Lack of machines (15 on hand) and 40 to 50 beds available. Lack of personnel, recently reduced payment for donations, they offer rewards but selectively pay them out. Put in request for someone to contact me and its been over 3 months (April 2022) and not a single person from corporate has
This place is a sad excuse for a plasma donation center. Appointments don't matter, I scheduled my appointment at 8 as a new donor and waited a half hour before deciding to ask the nurse about what to do. She rudely only gave me the answer to wait for help. As I told her I had already been waiting for half an hour she then when out and found that there was only one person doing the pre tests. She then told me to leave as they weren't taking any new donors! Then why the hell did I have a confirmed appointmen
Absolutely awful experience. I walked out halfway through my first donation. The lady up front was not doing her job and wasted my time. She tried to send me to a room I was in a hour before because she didn't do her job right. I sat there for an hour and 45 minutes just got get 1/5 of the setup process. I'm appalled by how little the employees care. They say the process takes 3 hours with half of that being on the donation floor. It would have taken 6 hours! Absolutely disgusted with this location.
I've been going here for months and have always had an amazing experience. The employees have always been so kind and willing to work with the customers if there's ever an issue. However today the manager over there, Taylor, has seriously let me down and ruined my view on this place. He completely acted like a child today. He doesn't have any sense of customer service what so ever. He was extremely rude and insensitive. I feel so sorry for any employee that has to work under him and for any customer that he
The donation experience itself is fine. Staff is friendly and professional. However, you'll find yourself waiting an hour or more just to get SCREENED, which if CSL as a whole did the pretty obvious solution of paying their staff more they'd probably solve their turnover and their wait times. Its ridiculious the wait times because of how incompitent management is at recruiting. The staff is working the best the can, but upper management doesn't care.
Came last week as a potential new donor at 10:00 AM (still early by their hours) and told me to come back some other time when they were less busy. I woke up bright and early this morning to be one of the first people who showed up when they opened and got turned away because ?their system was down.? There were only 10-15 return donors in line waiting to be checked in, but THREE people walked in after me, sighed, and IMMEDIATELY left. Now I understand why?the line did not move at ALL both times I was in the
Some of the staff are really nice here, but every line you have to wait in takes a ridiculously long time. You can be at the front of the line and still have to wait 15th minutes for the next opening. Essentially makes it double the wait time (at least) of most other plasma centers I've been to. Seems like they're constantly understaffed.
Staff are nice but they are very understaffed. They also need to provide chairs for their donors. Setting up an appointment system would be good too. You are constantly just standing all the time until you donate. The wait times are long too. Especially when waiting to donate.
Don't waste your time here. They don't have enough staff and the whole appointment process is a joke. I went online and made an appointment for 9am because I work later today and they take 3 hours for new donors so that's the only time that could work. When I showed up there was a huge line of people almost to the door and I was told that they don't actually look at their appointments and that it's just walk in now. So even if you make an appointment it doesn't matter anymore. Then I was informed they won't
All I can say is two of their staff members are nice. The nurse in medical and the rest of the staff. Not so much. They made me feel worthless. I will be escalating this to the director. If someone comes in wanting to help make a difference for others and staff is in a position where it's their job to be compassionate and they chose to treat people horribly then you should retire from the field.
They get a two cuz I went to SLC CSL for a loooong time with no issues. Here the issues never flippin stop it's not even funny. The first time I came here they were open for 1-1/2 hrs already but no nurse showed up yet so they were kicking everyone out that showed up. Second time they only had one phlebotomist on duty and every single manager was on the floor, stressed out. Now today I go, and they literally took way more plasma than they were supposed to from me!!! Luckily my body handled it well. Midvale
This company is not ADA friendly, nor should their medical expertise be trusted. The center I went to was incompetent and ended up wasting hours of my time. I have a diagnosed disability, one that is treated and maintained (and has nothing to do with infectious deceases that would prevent me from donating), with both medications and having a service dog. I went through the initial process fine, everyone was nice and accommodating at first, but then I had the physical exam. I had no medical abnormalities tha
They were so kind and helpful everytime I've been in, making small talk with phlebotomists and cracking jokes with them always makes my donations smoother. Their nurse they had to check me when I started was amazing, we connected with our ADHD brains and had a great laugh. Just very kind people there that are just doing their jobs splendidly. 10/10 recommend this location over the other ANY DAY. Way less confusing and scary feeling.
They were really good at first a year ago. Pay was decent and staff were fast and very thorough. Now it's just sad. The center is clean for the most part and floor and beds are good. My grip is my test results have been on delay for some reason. Last year it happed to alot of people this time I'm like really. I've donated plasma alot and never have had this happe. At other locations.
I'm a regular sand today it was a horrible experience!!! Phlebotomists called out in the morning and I understand people get sick. All in the same time I don't donate my time and plasma for free. After waiting for almost a hour we were able to check in. I was told that I needed to see medical about protein tests that they needed before I could donate. All this time adding up and I was denied the opportunity to donate after waiting for the crew to get everything they needed together. I asked if I would be c
This is the worst place to donate! Not great compensation compared to everywhere else. Plus they are seriously understaffed or something! When I go to Biolife they have two people in each section! CLS has 3 people for the entire floor and I sat waiting for over an hour! I don't typically write reviews but it's a huge waste of time.
If you're looking for a place to earn a little extra cash, go to a different plasma company. The pay is nearly the same, but they'll get you in and out incredibly faster. It's definitely not worth the time it takes to donate at CSL Plasma. New donors at other centers are a priority - they will get you in and out as fast as they can. I've been here for over an hour waiting to get screened and there's no one in line. Watching the new donor video should?ve been the first red flag. It's outdated and unnecessar
Waits can be a bit long but not worse than other donation centers I've been to. Let's just say that the people that go here are... interesting characters. Workers are nice and work fairly efficiently.
The staff here is great. There's just not nearly enough. 2+ hour wait times before you donate and they only run like 10% of capacity. They have a bunch of machines too use but don't have enough people to work them so only like 10 machines are used at any given time.
Just dont try. I just tried to be a first time done. I showed at 5:55 for a 6 pm apointmet. After standing at the first time done desk till 6:15 and no one came out to speak to me I left.
Horrible wait times. Took me two hours to just to get to donate! The line for screening was practically out the door. And they have one person doing screenings. They don't seem to care about their donors very much. Also there's a new girl there that has continued to say my hematocrit is too high. When I've never had a problem with it before. I drink tons of water Gatorade etc. They need to get people that know what they're doing that work here, and are a little bit quicker. Don't waste your time, find some
Not an awful place, older machines compared to bioLife. But they still work. The staff is knowledgeable and communicative. Facility is clean, they work as efficiently as they can with the amount of staff they have. They do a good job. My only qualm is the location.
Staff is helpful and polite. I'm a returning donor. Covid changes have slowed things down. The staff is great with dealing with new regulations. They get you in and out as fast as the rules, laws, and regulations allow them to
It was a great place to go for the first 16 months and then CSL corporate raised the payment for new donors and the place was overrun. They did not step in to help retain employees and now the experienced phlebotomists have mostly gone. As I'm writing this the bruise from my last donation will get get me deferred ( will be rejected as donor) . I'm going to have to leave this place. It wasn't local management, nor the staff but corporate CSL which blew them up. Too bad But 3 hours is a long time (2 hou
Wait times are insane. Today we were there for over and hour and half before we decided to leave. We were still a few people back in line and it was hardly moving. We watched about 5-8 other people walk out too. The phlebotomist I had last time was great, but I don't think we'll be back.
My bf wanted to come donate plasma since he doesn't get paid for a few days and he had to pay some bills. He's never donated before but his brother told him bout it so he wanted to come donate plasma today on his day off. We got here at 10am , it's 1:35 pm and he's just know finishing up his plasma donation. if it's your first time , plan on waiting 3+ hours. They won't let go come back with him which is understandable so I've just been sitting here waiting for almost 4 hours. Wait times are ridiculous & s
No complaints except lack of staff, so the visit was really long
I went different time always talk to the same lady the first time I stand an hour in line just to be told to come back a different day (any day ) before 5 so I go on a different day before 5 and they are not excepting new patients and then I try a different day and go early and get told I have to come back because it was to early for new patients and this is all from the same lady evey time at this location at this point I'm not going back
This location is super clean and well organised. All the staff remember are nice and friendly, especially Lilia and Cassidy. Vicki is quick to get me through my physical and back to the donor floor. Return donor after 6 months here. Ask for Kira if you have small veins. She is super gentle, reassuring and always anchors my vein when sticking.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
