I have donated 5 times now and I notice that the employees work ethic here is garbage. They are slow and its obvious that most dislike their job by their attitude. I looked up what they make /hr and its not that much.
Well I guess they are only taking people who don't have a job . Said I haven't donated in six months so I have to do physical again but they're not taking any more donors because of staffing issues and to come back tomorrow earlier . It is literally 2 30 pm they close at 7 pm. I work a job I can't come earlier . It's not like I came at 5 pm . Driving out here for nothing and apparently 4 1/2 hours isn't sufficient time to take a new donor .
My last review was rooted in anger, because I was cold. We stood outside wondering if we should leave, or wait, The conversation between us was something like this. It's bad enough that we've fallen on such hard times that we have to sell our blood plasma, and call it donating, but it's even worse to feel like you're being disrespected. I'd suggest not even going if the staff doesn't answer to let you know if theyre open, because its impossible to predict. They're no longer open on Sundays, but the website
I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The "manager" on the floor stood with his face in his phone the whole time I was there. I was in a lot of pain at my donation site the whole time. I called 4 people over to help and each time they said it was going fine. It was not going fine, after a half hour I still wasn't even a quarter of the way done, that is far from my normal. I have been a Phlebotomist for over 15 years and I know what to look for, but more then that I know my body and I know how much
One of the most unprofessional plasma donating facilities I have ever been to. When I was in college I donated in fort Wayne and the experience was professional clean upbeat and the people were attentive and actually like their job. Almost a week and a half ago my fiance and I want to go donate. We were there 55 minutes early and we're told they were closing early. That kind of came as a shock but even more so as a shock is when another girl that came in after us was allowed to donate and we were not. I don
I Had A Bad Experience We Are First Time Donors And The Lady Did Not Wanted To Start My Process She Was Being RACIST With My Wife Only Because She Only Knew Spanish. The Lady Denied The Service To Us Cause She Thought We Where Immigrants She Did Not Wanted To Take Our Documents I Told Her I Spoke Both Languages Spanish & English And She Just Said No Your Wife Cant Be Here
Staff are nice and professional. But the wait in line is crazy. Specially when you've been standing over an hour in one place in line and here come 4 new donors because their new. Theu should have to set up an appointment or come first thing in tje morning. And then some of the staff show favoritism and tell or take people in front of the line for no reason. The people who are donating even say they don't understand why they did that
Bad experience! Long lines and hateful staff. Close the doors early and get shitty when they are questioned about it after customers are upset for driving all the way there to find out the decided to close early. Rude and it seems to me like if your African American, they are all smiles. Try being Caucasian.. see for yourself. Just saying. Calls it like I See's it..
Unprofessional management, the wife and I came to donate and was left with a bad taste. We have donated at other centers and this one?s manger was extremely rude. She dismissed our concerns & stopped our donation process while I was hooked up.
Very unprofessional called and made sure they were closing at 7 got there at 6:48 and the doors were already locked and i literally called not even 10 before that
Amanda is GREAT! Today, she was literally the only Phlebotomist & she was getting the work done, sticking and disconnects all on her own! She is definitely an asset to this company, Also, Justin he is my all time favorite!! Keep up the good work! The ladies up front in screening are always on point,
Male nurse who does medical intake was clearly drunk, making weird remarks at donors. Had to have a 2nd nurse with him while talking due to him making people uncomfortable. Was being racist probably
I arrived at the center today earlier than I usually would, I was concerned because the line seemed kind of long in my eyes but to my surprise even though the line was long or was moving efficiently I was in my chair pretty fast. I also was poked by someone who never poked me before which is mentally scary but Amanda poked me wonderfully today?s experience was good. Amanda Robert Justin and every body who was on the floor with them from the times 8:30 tilll 9:30 deserves high praise
Amanda was the only one sticking people and disconnecting people this Saturday and she was the kindest person. She was doing the work of at least 3 people. Amanda deserves a raise for the hard work she did today. It's not fair that she had to do all that work because CSL Plasma can't hire reliable workers. Once again Amanda thank you for your hard work and kindness?.And as for CSL Plasma Management and Corporate office get your act together for your good employees and stop over working the good one and fire
Workers are pretty friendly. Would go a lot smoother and faster if everyone moved around as fast as Justin. He keeps things flowing smoothly and some of the other staff walk around looking busy but not doing anything or taking their time between donors
My experience with Maddie was exceptional. She greeted me with a warm smile and immediately put me at ease. She took the time to explain each step of the procedure, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone stopping by!
I didn't know an employee could interrupt someone while reading and listening to the instructions and threaten them to call the police if they don't leave.
This was my first time ever donating. My nurse Pam was so sweet to me! Pam, Amanda and Maumer made the draw experience much less stressful and answered any questions I had with a smile! Great experience??
They move extremely too slow in the back when it comes to getting people onto beds and on machines. They barely have any machines today so I'm guessing the machines are down which is a horrible look for the establishment. Not only do they move too slow but the employees are just standing around talking and on their cellphones while the waiting donor line is wrapped around the wall. Very disappointed. Definitely should work on picking up the pace in the back and getting new machines!
Sat there for 2 hours to get deferred because they don't have options for people with adhesive sensitivity. Not even a full on allergy, a sensitivity!
Gave me a hematoma and still decided to restick me didn't even give me an ice pack very unprofessional
Been donating at CSL for almost 2 years. The environment is comfortable, cool, calm, and collected. The staff members are friendly, and easy to talk to. Shout out to Justin for keeping your team smiling.
Worst center I've ever been too! The lines are long the wait is very long. No seating, the machines are new and they mess up more then often!
First?the number of donors allowed at one time on floor decreased causing longer wait times Second?donor fees decreased-?? Third?reward points are discontinued What is going on??? What is the benefit of being a platinum donor??
It's so unbearably slow. Every time I come, regardless of how busy they are, it takes HOURS just to get through line. About 2-3x as much time to get through line as it does to donate. I walked in at 11:40 and didn't leave until 3:20. Unless the place is entirely empty, I would recommend saving your time.
I had a very smooth and pleasant experience donating. The staff did their job very well especially Justin. He is very good at his job and careful. Made me very comfortable during this process.
I will never go back to csl plasma in Mishawaka the person who did and caused this was completely careless my bruise is worse after more than a week. I really wished people took their job more seriously especially since this is a medical facility. They should have more training and more professionals working.
Luz is absolutely awesome. She's very professional, very very gentle with the patients, and I have to admit I didn't even feel the needle stick. Thanks again. BTW. Amazing personality ????????????
Been there twice, was excited about the location (much better than Octopharma location) Both times were bad experience and it came from staff not knowing what they are doing. Used both arms both times and they questioned what to push and how to hook up. 2 years as a loyal customer at Octapharma and no issues. NEED MORE TRAINING, also a leader needs to be walking around constantly and making sure everyone is safe and not on a power trip!
everybody was really courteous and prompt only one drawback is your little confused on where to go after each station unless someone tells you but for the most part everyone's courteous and nice and very sanitary
Management is extremely unprofessional , I came in as a new donor & not only I but another new donor as well got the wrong information. When trying to tell management I got told I should have known as a NEW donor.
Csl plasma is a nice place to donate. Staff is always friendly and professional. The facility is always clean and employees are very knowledgeable. Victoria, Madde, Vonnie, are my favorites. They are the reason myself and my close friends and associates visit the facility continuously. Also Ms Sherri Davis is amazing and a sweetheart. To everyone mentioned and not mentioned keep up the good work everyone. #1 plasma center in the area.
I'd like to acknowledge "behind the scenes" "Quality",Especially Leah who works so diligently to make sure everything and everyone is on target. And also our great "processing team"who works behind the Scenes in the cold freezers assuring our products are property handled and stored.Thank you!
I love donating at CSL in Mishawaka. It's a great atmosphere and the staff is awesome. Justin is one that I always hope to get. His phlebotomy skills are the best, and I think he should be paid extra because he's THAT good! If you love to help people, consider donating plasma, you are literally saving lives!
Just want to say that Justin is a good leader and when he's on the donation floor it makes a world of difference! Please tell him he is doing a fantastic job or better yet, show him more appreciation with some more $ ;) Thanks, you guys are great.
Amanda is the BEST phlebotomist at this center!! She is gentle, calm, and efficient. She makes every trip enjoyable and I look forward to seeing her everytime I come in??
Every time it's some bullshit. Better off going to bio life or another place. Multiple times have been left bruised from them pulling needles out wrong, know people that have had veins burst nearly every time they come in, now they seem to not want donations because they fail to document things and then want you to ?call back?. I have a job so no I will not be calling back, I'll take my blood elsewhere
Denise is the employee who performed my needle stick. I've been donating for a long time and most employees have a difficult time getting a good stick due to scar tissue. Denise gets it right the 1st time every time. She is very friendly and efficient!
I was very impressed with the teamwork of CSL employees. Especially for the care and concern for donor wait time. I want to commend Csl employees: Robert Stalling and Justin. These two gentlemen are genuine , kind , and keep donors comfortable.
My experiences there are always pleasant. The ladies upfront screening rock Shyla & Shalonda (: Justin don't miss on the Phleb Floor! I enjoy helping people knowing I am saving someone else's life with a simple donation!
114 Donations Very Nice place To Give Plasma, been to all the others, Most of the Time The People Working There always crack me up. They seem to have fun at work, I Wouldn't mind Working there myself! Highly Recommend...
I want to acknowledge the reception area who work so hard to get donors to the donation floor and don't get the credit they deserve for all their hard work.If it wasn't for our dedicated "front line" we couldn't run the donor floor ?? Thank you, to Shalonda(who the best lead we can ask for) Lindsey,Shy and anyone I didn't mention because I never leave the back.????? We appreciate you!!! Also their smart, classy and beautiful manager Kanesha for "All" she does for our center. I'm so blessed to have a wonderfu
Waramer was great. Nice and friendly?always asking how I am?-wonderful worker!
Staff are rude and extremely unhelpful. I had to threaten to speak to whoever was in charge just so someone could give me proper direction on how to complete the questionnaire. I had to speak to 3 seperate people OVER THE PHONE just to figure out how to pull up the stupid qr code on the app. And I STILL don't know how to do it. Do not come here to donate. Go literally anywhere else first.
When I go to csl, I always have a good experience. I believe her name is Victorian, that always makes sure to be expedient and efficient, making sure us donors get through donating in a well timed fashion.
Maddie is always pleasant to talk with while she is getting ready to "stick" you and you never feel it either. She is very professional, outgoing, and there if you need anything during the procedure.
The Staff is very Professional and Friendly. Kanesha did a Great and Time Efficient job on Vitals. Phlebotomist was Maddie she is a Great Phlebotomist and can get the hardest veins. I would recommend her to future donors.
Might update after a donation depending on how it turns out but the review for now stands at one star. Signed up and did the few questions online and booked an appointment for 4PM. Showed up at 3:40 and went in thinking it was a little early but could maybe check in because it was my first visit. Drove outta Elkhart for the visit. Outside of building looks okay. I walk inside and stare at a desk while I am assuming 2 of the nurses just chat away, no big deal but a simple, "Hello, someone will be right wit
Maddie is by far the greatest phlebotomist I've ever seen. Her skills know no limits. She's also extremely friendly. A class act of the human being if I've ever seen one
I have been going to this Center off and on for three years now there was been a lot of changes and hard worker at the center that had been great. Don't come if you want quick clients but the staff always does their best. If you're willing to spend 3 hours and be patient. It's a great opportunity to make a easy 50$
Love coming here they have their days but kinda slow but other than that love the staff from front to the back everyone is nice and helpful and all my donations go smoothly wit no complaints nor complications give the staff 10/10 even when they are short staffed they hustle and make it work
It's crazy that they can write a review for you have you deferred and you've done absolutely nothing .Came in and proved my point still deferred me it's crazy because after all the fights with employees staffs and all kinds of ghetto non-professional things going on they choose to eliminate donors and don't let them voice their opinions I've been at CSL since I lived in Indianapolis 2009 and never have I been treated as disrespectfully as I have today by the management (Kanisha) they gave me a call at 130 b
Waiting in line for half an hour to have 1 person of 13 checked in for vitals is ridiculous. I understand if staffing is an issue towards the end of the day but this is the 3rd Sunday around 2pm that this has happened. Provide employees with premium, incentive pay to assist donors if this is the issue. Beats dragging the hours by while they still get paid for checking in donors a half hour at a time while saying nothing and paying to keep the lights on. I hope management considers reading this review before
Maddie She Always Smile And Asking How Are You Doing,Lou She Always Making Me Laugh But Don't Piss Her Off,Justin Is The Coolest One Of The Bunch Just Feed Him, Dominique Very Respectful Just Don't Piss Her Or Alberta Off FRFR,Tianna That's Cuz She Takes Her Time With You But Kills It,Rob Quick To Say Next!!!!! Rochelle One Of The Nice's People To Know Don't Hate On None Of CSL MISHAWAKA WORKERS !!!!! THEY DOING A GREAT JOB
Maddie is so awesome! She was extremely patient and kind since it was my first time donating. Non stop jokes the whole time to ease the nerves????
I came new doner and got rejected 3 time have ssn number and id,
Maddie is an exceptional phlebotomist at CSL. Very skilled and confident at her job. She makes the donation process so much easier.
If I could give no stars I would. I attempted to donate today but was turned away for some supposed "sweaty body odor" that nobody else I've asked can smell. I guess on a 90 degree day in June even the smallest amount of sweat is worse than anything else in the world. Not sure how you can suppress a natural body function without the aid of deodorant you aren't allowed to use while donating. The only person there who seemed to have any decency or interpersonal skills was another person who was also there to
If I could give no stars I would. The staff is pathetically slow. Worst plasma place in the area. Go somewhere else. These people can have full staff and still work like they have 2 people and nothing more. You'll spend half your day up here just to donate a bottle of plasma. The place is a joke and clearly management needs to be fired and new workers placed in their spots. Whoever is running this place is in dire need of of help and training. Smfh go elsewhere. Staff is also rude and talks about each other
The staff is generally kind but that's the only plus. I've been in donation centers in Las Vegas, San Diego, Fort Wayne, etc. This Mishawaka location is by far the dirtiest I've ever seen. The first time I thought maybe the janitor was on vacation but I've seen it multiple times now for what it is . Dirty . Always understaffed. This place is not as busy as the locations I mentioned early but somehow you still end up waiting longer than the median. Expect to spend 2+ hours here at a minimum even as a non n
I think everyone is nice and amazing at CSL. Except for Sherri, she nice and all but someone need to retrain her!
They are under staffed, and the staff that works there ignore people, are rude, and from what I've observed hate working there. My personal experience: First time: Wife and I came in, they declined my wife from donating because only I had mail verification. So we left. Second: They declined us a second time because the mail was open. Third: Declined because mail was "bulk" mail. Three times they declined two young, healthy prior service military from donating because of mail. We did not go to donate fo
The staff is very nice. I was initially happy to give plasma plus make a few extra bucks , but after my 3 first visits of making $100 per visit and then finding out at my 4th visit that I only made $50, the incentive has diminished. I will, however, continue to donate as I know they do need my plasma to save lives.
I find a ride from niles and more times than not in a week they close the doors early at least once a week so frustrating
Maddie gets me every single time!! Hardest worker on the floor, keeps the line moving. I will definitely be back
If I could give it negative stars I would but it don't allow it so.i was here today and worst experience of all time ever the most disrespectful staff of all time. Just cuz your pulse is high gives the staff here the right too rip the cuff off of your arm and when u tell the employee that they could be a little bit nicer too the donors and she says or not that is highly disrespectful of all time. I will not be returning too this donation center after the disrespect that came from the people here
It's always nice to go in and see familiar faces! Justin always does an excellent job and makes the process seamless.
Your health isn't worth the extra money. These people didn't notice the air bubble in my wife?s needle and it almost caused some dangerous issues. The people that go in here are not people you want to be around, especially in an environment where your health can be at risk. Money starts off at $100 per donation and slowly becomes less and less and less. This place should close down.
Showed up yesterday only to find out they were closed because of a water main break. Would've been nice if they posted that info online instead letting folks waste their gas. Now I'm trying to call in to see if they're open today but no one has answered the phone. While Google says they're open. Can we some correct info please.
I enjoy going to csl no bad review frim me one of the best donation places ive been my favorite ppl there are rob and Justin there very professional kind and funny I enjoy them every time I come
Amanda is the best sticker hands down Maddie is #2 and Johnathan is # 3
The staff is very friendly but I'm seriously disappointed with how slow they are. Nearly all of the staff chit chat and make people wait to be sat down in a bed or stuck. There seems to be consideration for anyone elses time and they're just having a social hour. I've watched several times staff huddled together talking while I'm the next person in line to be checked in but they won't go to their station until I have a line behind me. This is not all of the staff that does this but it's by far a majority. T
Got id experience every time I come in . Some phlebotomists are rougher than others . How ever Shelby has it down pat. No pain good flow definitely knows her stuff !
If it weren't for the new donor payout, I wouldn't recommend coming here. You WILL wait for at least an hour to even get hooked up, no matter what day or time you come. The staff is extremely rude. They spend more time gossiping and staring at the people waiting, instead of doing their job.
After coming here for a few months I can't give this place a good review first of all the should have places to sit before being called to screen then they should have television or something in the donation area I can forgive that but it's always a long time to donate no staff and the screeners are sometimes rude and argue with each other the staff can be inconsiderate there are some good staff not many though I need to donate elsewhere I want to add I'm now deferred from going to csl but maybe it's for th
Victorian is a great Pearson much love to all the workers tho they all do a great job!
Tiffany and Ken and Devin get 5 stars. I won't name the employees that chat instead of work, including one that I never actually see her work, she watches others, chats, and attempts to look busy while ignoring lines of people. Sad work ethic.
Victorian was an absolute doll being my DST! She's such a great conversationalist and super attentive!
Every time I come into the CSL Plasma in Mishawaka I'm always taken care of by Justin or Tiana! They're extremely nice and make donating plasma comfortable and enjoyable.
Victorian is always very nice and always addresses any concerns i may have definitely 5 stars ??
if i could leave negative stars i would i 1000% do NOT recommend. they lie about their payout you have 45 to collect and they turn you away claiming to be to busy so you dont reach the 45 days. they told me i would receive 100 for donating took my plasma and told me i only earned 35. Biomat is definitely where id recommend
If y'all that mad with your life because of your job get a different one. Everytime you call people get so rude, when you go in to. Very unprofessional. Treat you like you aren't giving them a 10xprofit to begin with. I overheard a phlebotomist discuss how they recieve 400-500$ per bottle while only paying some people 30$
Lines! Do you enjoy waiting in lines while bored employees stand around looking at you? If you do then CSL Plasma has a deal for you! Seriously, this place is slow. If it's not the wait to get a bed and get hooked up, it's a line to get inprocessed. This place is so slow. I just watched a technician take 25 minutes to get someone's vitals while another staff member watched and talked on the phone. Will avoid this place at all costs in the future. Also, regarding the inevitable reply, this is a review. It'
I very much want to Appreciate Denise & Victoria here . There Very patient & sweet N caring ????I Highly recommend them For your services here
This is absolutely the most ghetto unprofessional plasma center I've ever visited!!! Damn shame it used to be great! Octapharma got y'all beat and that's not saying much.
First time donor. Nobody at front desk, so I followed whatever vague instructions were there. Only employee who interacted with me mumbled the whole time and made it his job to sit me in a chair out of anyone's line of sight. Waited 30+ minutes. Nobody else assisted me so I left. Find somewhere else to donate!
Well I have been trying to call there for some information and they won't even answer the phone, so I can imagine what it would be like going in person. From the reviews I have read it doesn't look very organized and way too long waiting periods.
Funny how I post a review and when I go into donate on my 4th ever donation here I'm not allowed kiosk was to see management and all of a sudden I have to have another physical and samples. Slow. Management needs to make people work stand around talking constantly management is as lazy as floor staff. Sit there on there phones
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
