You know I went in there for the first time this morning I got there about 10 after 8 and I was done at like 20 after 10:00 I had no problems with nobody, nobody was rude the place was clean I mean this is not the first time I've ever donated plasma used to do it in Tampa Florida it was the first time I went there today and I had no problem at all!! And the young girl who stuck me I have no bruising nothing I mean I'm going back Friday to do another donation I had no problems with anybody at all.
This is the worst plasma center, workers there doing the screening are lackadaisical. They are not following procedures when doing vitals, they'll mess up the blood pressure reading by using incorrect cuffs or putting the cuff over your shirt sleeve that gives an improper reading then they'll have an attitude when you say something, they just want to get through there shifts and have zero regards for poor people
This is still the worst plasma donation center in mobile, AL. As a new donor, I was turned away because they closed in 3 hours. There was no wait, and was told new donors is a 3 hour process, which is completely false. First he said 2 hours, then changed it to 3. I will do everything in my power to make sure new donors take their business elsewhere.
The white dude can't stick..he got it all out of whack ..the needle not even in straight
They will defer for asking them to do their job and get you off the machine when you done and keep you on long if you ask
Been away from this place for awhile. 1st 2 days back. Fight broke out with the security guy and pissed off donor. 2 hour wait. 2nd day didn't even get paid. Still arguing and waiting to get paid. Unprofessional and always sketchy people at this location at the Loop. Go to KED. They pay better and you don't feel like you need a gun.. Update: it is now the 23rd of July. NOT PAID FOR MY LAST DONATION AND ON TOP OF IT NOT PAID FOR A REFERRAL!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS TRASHY PLACE!! THEY HAVE REFUSED TO PAY!!
First time donor ant CSL , the add said make 500 your 1st 5 donation, that is a lie and there is no transparency, they did not explain they go by weight my 1st donation I got $100 today on my second donation only $95 , my third visit will be less . Definitely not impressed by the lack of transparency on how the donation work , I will take my plasma elsewhere
The lack of consideration for poor people?s time is a disgrace. They move at a snail?s pace and make zero effort to put some pep in their step. Sloooow beyond slow. They just run their mouths. And if you make any complaints they'll tell you ?your iron is too low?.
My first experience/visit with plasma was anything but pleasant so I definitely wasn't expecting much. I walked in nervous and expecting to be stuck multiple times or unable to donate at all. Until I was sent to Carrie-Lynn?s bay. She not only stuck me with ease but it was completely painless. Towards the end of the visit I felt extremely lightheaded and she was there within second to make sure I was okay. It completely made up for my first experience at this location. You guys need to hire more staff like
The staff works hard to ensure a positive donor experience. Any time the lines are long, it is due to certain policies set in place to ensure that the ones who are actively donating get prompt attention when concerned about any discomfort. Who wants to sit on a bed with 14 other donors in the same bay with one employee tending to them and not get the attention they deserve? Nobody. Give the employees grace and patience because they do work hard.
When I first started to donate here after having had a good experience in Columbus Ohio I found the experience pleasent - timely & no bruising. The staff was polite along with attentive. Then the staff decreased & some had an attitude. There are still some fantastic folks here. However month by month the place as previous post meantion, has gone down with causing bruising , being spoken to disrespectfully, along with not being appreciated. No great to see you. None of my friends would come here for that. Ho
When I've been able to donate here, the nurses and doctors have been super generous and accommodating but the staff keeps locking the doors before they're actually supposed to close. I came with my partner in at 6:45 yesterday (22nd) and the doors were locked. One of the ladies working saw us standing there and walked away. So I came in today at 2:30 the 22nd and the 23rd and the door was locked. I was standing there and this gentlemen came over and told me he was bringing someone who worked there food an
they need to find some better people to put the needles in because they'll sit there and poke you too deep and move it all around and cause bruises to come up and the tell you you aren't allowed to donate because of the bruising they caused. and then make you think you can donate after the initial screening process make you wait in line for 2 hours just to be told something they're supposed to tell you at the beginning.
Sometimes like this morning the girls are talking and being loud while trying to make important calls for business. Then wait while they chat. Finally get to the cubicle and can barely here the lady's instructions because they are talking so loud. I could understand the donors being loud but it was the workers.I do like the center just need to work on smiles and paying attention. We are there to get in and get out. If you don't like your job find another one.
Nowadays, businesses needs an edge to achieve greatness. Carrie Lynn, a team member with your mobile location, is just that edge! She constantly delivers kindness, compassion, and a phenomenal skill-set that is second to none. A few weeks ago, during a very busy and challenging afternoon, I watched as she flawlessly performed her duties, while supporting her team members, and providing exceptional customer care. I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge Carrie Lynn for her many outstanding qualities. Th
Question: How do you spell I hate you, and hold you in complete contempt with only 3 letters? Answer: CSL Right now there are 15 people waiting and the place is at a complete stand still. Their contemp for the donor is so extreme that they don't even have the decency to put a closed sign on the door. Don't do it. Didn't come here... Not today anyway. Just spoke to a staff member. Apparently machines are broken, they don't have enough staff. 17 people waiting isn't unusual and if I didn't like it I'm welcome
This is by far the worst of them all since they got all those new works on the floor my arm is totally bruised instead of the lady sticking me in the spot that I've been getting stuck in she went way to far up and caused major pain they had to move to the other arm not to mention the spot where she messed up after going to the e.r u can't even feel a vein there still right now my left arm hurts and that was Wednesday when I went smh I will never go back to this one again
Had an amazing experience!! Have been coming here for a few months and have never had a bad time. The staff is amazing and Zee is always there to help! Love her! She's always got a smiling face and willing to help!
Mobile, AL location: The screeners at the front are the worst! The are not friendly and have an attitude every time I've been there. They are power tripping instead of making donors feel at ease. The mission statement on the wall states you have a welcoming environment. That is laughable!
This one is fairly quick and physical is quick if you call for appointments or go early gotta get to physicals before 4pm to be seen or you'll have to return.staff is nice and helpful .They paid me $100 the first 5x then it goes to 1st$40 2nd $85 maybe it's price is different now? They all are competing for donors they will not give a price over the phone
Hi My name is Dakota Davidson I've donated here for a year twice a week every week and ALWAYS have great friendly experience with everyone and always in and out within a hour! Idk what these other negative reviews are probably just angry rejected donors that wouldn't stop being loud or disrespectful or wouldn't get off the phone! The only negative thing is thier new call by name system they need to go back to whoever is next because I'll be scanned in line waiting and someone will come in scan in and then s
They change their process to scanning in first. There is no sign telling you what to do. You are supposed to scan in at the "New Donor" area. If you're not a new donor, how are you supposed to know? The people doing the vitals just look at you and call someone's name even if they are behind you. I had to wave over the security guard to find out what's going on because he's the only one with some customer service responsibilities apparently. Everyone in the front act like they are doing you a favor by lettin
Unprofessional and all the workers on the floor have an attitude like sorry I didn't tell you to work here
As a new donor here at CSL I was informed the first visit would be the longest, around 3 hours, and every other visit after the first should not take as long. That is a lie for this particular location. Every donation I've made, 8 in total for the new donor fee, I have waited 3 hours. These people are in no hurry to assist you. They walk around socializing, messing around on their phones, etc. If you have other things to get done in your day besides donating, DO NOT COME HERE!
Two staff members decided they didn't feel good, despite the fact that one was gabbing on her cell phone in the back in plain view, and left in the middle of the day. They had two more staff member come up and replace them but it was literally like watching slow motion. And this is every time I go. What a joke. In the pictures, there are 14 empty chairs and we've been standing in line for 30 minutes waiting for one.
Are the owners okay with having donors and their employees stay literal hours after closing because they were too lazy to open the 3rd bay??? How are they okay with the line being wrapped around the building and people getting upset??? Some of us just got off work and don't want to stand in line for hours just to donate. Hope this place gets shut down and replaced with something less ghetto and more efficient
If it wasn't for the hours I've stood in line or the capri-sun straw sized needle they have to use; it would be a pleasant experience. The staff at this location are genuinely friendly.
These folks are the best in the business. I wish I knew everyone's name so I could thank them all personally for an outstanding experience each and every time I visit. J'Vaughn and team are absolute assets to this company as him and the others go above and beyond caring for customers. J'Vaughn always has a phenomenal attitude and patience of a god! He has a very genuine personality that makes customers feel welcomed. And no matter how busy he may be, he always makes time for any question or concern. If
He usually doesn't post reviews but this place deserves one, it's so disgusting long wait times; I registered for my first donation, I answered the questionnaires, the blood test was fine, they did the physical exam and everything was fine, already in the donation area, an employee told me that I could not donate because I am Latino and do not speak English, actually I need more practice with the language but I understand, that for me is a clear act of discrimination
I loved the service earlier today. I Have a little chest pain ??since. Never had that before but the ladies helped me out, saying they're making sure no air goes in but I felt like air was going in. Hopefully there was no mistakes that could?ve affected my health. I Learned that I'm donating with a vein that may be connected to the heart or lungs, they say. they should get a raise for the work the people do. Especially the LGBTQIA?s community boy with gold dreads and his boyfriend they were very entertainin
Always understaffed and slow!! Once again, It has taken me over 3 hours to donate!! It's an awful experience and not worth 60.00. Go somewhere else!!! To bad zero stars is not an option. I would rather get sent to Beirut than come back here.
I was hooked up here Wednesday night and watch these people in a hurry to leave sit a woman at a dirty chair, they had not even changed the plastic tube out that recirculates your blood. So when the dude with dreads walked off I got the ladys attention, & told her not to let them hook her up without giving her new tubing. Well the the guy with dreads came back she asked for new tubes and he told her if she didn't like it she could leave. This has completely made me lose faith in this place. If they do it to
Went on september1st 2023 and I donated along with many other people and they did not load my money onto my card or my partners card or anyones card for that matter. They continued to take plasma frombothers and decided not to pay them. This is theft I know if they do not pay me or the others by the morning we are all going to be mad. If you knew your payment system was down why did you continue to take peoples plasma?
My experienc today at CSL plasma center in Mobile Alabama on government st. Decided today not to let my wife who was trained to guide me I'm 95%blind.was told she could not guide me.i have been going to this location for a while and it was never a problem until today.i tried letting them guide me and they ran me into a wall.and a gay man guide me by placing his hands on my bottom.which I think is very inappropriate. it was never a problem until today.
The only issue I ever have here is the long wait to get sat and hooked up to the machine. Other than that, I prefer it over every other plasma center in Mobile
It seems to me that most of the techs that draw the blood want to defer donors just to get them to leave so they don't have to work. There are some really GREAT ones though. The few that care really care.
I love love love the staff! Everyone is friendly and professional. They cater to your needs and answer all of your questions to the best of their abilities. Big thanks to Gere? and Trinity.
Staff is super friendly and ensure a positive donor experience. They always make sure I'm taken care of best donation center I've been to.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming here when I need the extra cash. The biggest con is the long wait time. Overall a very good place to go to.
I came here after making sure I would be able to donate by calling ahead. I previously donated at the Gulfport location and was assured by everyone that I would be able to donate. Upon arrival, I was unable to donate and then started the whole process from the beginning. I was then told since I has only donated once before that I was unable to donate here. I specifically made sure all around that I would be able to and was then turned away. Very misleading and a big waste of time.
Awesome place to donate clean. Professional. The staff is so sweet and kind. Yes the first time is longer but that is anywhere. The also give out new donor bags with snacks and stuff.
This place is horrible. I can't understand why nothing is ever done about it. Everyone complains but nothing is done. If they hired a few more people in the back to stick people it'd run much quicker. I think it is more of a under staffed/management issue but PLEASE fix this CSL!
This is the absolute worst plasma center around the Mobile, AL area. Be prepared to wait an obnoxiously long time, and if you need any assistance or have to stop by the front desk, they're all just gonna look at you and offer no help at all. Not too mention just how GHETTO this place is!!
Poor customer service and technicians are often rude with the donors and speak very disrespectfully
so went to donate last night with my partner and they took my plasma but didn't pay Me said it will be here today I call my card and nothing they took my plasma and didn't pay me and all the other people who were there didn't get paid. this morning I try calling them to see what's wrong and they take the phone off the hook. they committed theft and won't deal with it
A special thanks to the staff at CSL plasma and especially the hard work of reception. They are proficient, well organized and give such great energy every visit. Great face of the company.
Don't waste your time coming here!!!! The floor workers don't know what they are doing they will mess your arm up. They also will lie and work together and cover their tracks even if it means getting you deferred. I would give no stars if I could. Mobile, Al.
ZEE took great care of me she always does an excellent job when she's there even if she's working by herself . Hard worker!! she needs a raise.
I love working with Zee she's a great worker & always in good spirits. She a Great person to recommend if you want a smooth donation experience ????
Sorry I been here since 12 it was but maybe 6 people in front of me the stickers do not have a sense of urgency at all
The best plasma place I've been to. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is friendly. Carrie especially is amazing - very knowledgeable and never misses the vein!
Just wanted to drop some love for my people y?all doing great I love the whole front desk especially that tony an my back people J'Vaughn, Carrie , Z , Jjada, octiva, gere, drell, Keno y?all so good an funny people they always have good energy wait can't forget the security he's so funny but ?? this is an good place they're all respectful I'm call yall boss so y?all can take the day off an hang wit me ?? y?all have an blessed day keep up the good work an if I forgotten anyone smile your doing good too
The wait time today was less than recent visits. The pay to donors could be a lot more. This location pays less than other area plasma donation centers per donation.
Friendly, very organized, and most of all; the fastest In and out routine I've seen yet at any plasma center. These people seem to care about your time; unlike the other plasma centers. This is the best I've seen. I highly recommend this place
The experience that I had here was the most horrible experience I've been in a while the racial slender and the back talking from the employees and a threatening that I got from them was unbelievable not only is the service bad but their kiosks don't work and they are very lazy you lay on my bed for almost 45 minutes before anybody even realizes that you're there I am a Caucasian male that has been horribly wronged and I will be seeking legal advice so y'all will be hearing from my attorney
Awesome people, always nice and smiling and so sweet making sure your ok when your there. They make sure to do their best to make you comfortable.
They are incredibly time consuming. The staff are friendlier than other places though, and more helpful. 3 hours total on a fast day.
Employees are so slow !!!!!!! people have things to do
They reset your pay if you miss a day back to $20. If you do make it to the $51 you Can still make more at another center. The nurses are nice though.
I had a terrible experience with the line I was there at 6:00 AM and people who wasn't there until the last minute wanted to skip and run over people who was already there waiting and security didn't care
Other than no sitting available while waiting, its Great!
I absolutely enjoy the staff because they are so personable and actually care. Great experience throughout. I'm proud to say I'm almost platinum.
The best staff possible!! I love these ladies so much. I wouldn't keep coming back if they weren't here!!
The staff in reception is friendly and thorough. The phlebotomists are all well trained. I like it here.
went in 3 times, 2 times they f'd up my arm so that i couldn't donate. the 3rd time no nurse or manager were present. the place is a s***show. Donate somewhere else.
Thy always been extra nice and taking care of me and thy have some amazing beautiful nurses and thy help take your mind off the pain lol thy are awesome plasma center thy are a 5 Star ?? in my book
Worst place in city to donate plasma. The wait time is ridiculous because they never have enough staff.
If I could leave 0 stars I would! I donated today and was never paid and no one will even answer the phone at the center to help me!
ALL the staff are very nice and always greet me when I come in. Love donating there!
Better people and better experience than the other place I used to go to. More streamlined setup as well. Highly recommend trying CSL plasma.
2nd time here and so far it's been very quick both times
The wait took a while but the staff were professional and courteous. The phlebotomists know what they're doing!
Amazing staff, never had an issue an they'll gladly help you w anything
CSL plasma in mobile has some great services?they are polite and patient with there clients I would recommend them awesome place to go
Staff is friendly been coming in to donate about 6 months? very pleased with the weekly experience!
Very rude lazy nurses they will watch you be finished donating and walk past you and start gossiping with co workers all while just standing around me and other donors have noticed it in got upset and they just roll they're eyes I'll rather go somewhere else not worth it
Rude as hell. Could not check in and nobody would help. 10 min at the counter and nothing. Goto biolife
Do not waste your time coming here. They are too slow and they have nobody here working. You'll be here for 4 hours before you get stuck or screened.
They slow instead of running their mouth they need to do vitals and instead of 2 they need to have all 3 bays open to make things go faster
Great service, painless procedures, amazing staff. Keep up the great work ???? ????
Every time I come in, they have me in and out, I love it.
They were very helpful and kind with my first plasma donation. I wish id started donating sooner cause they pay you for it.
Great staff, Clean Donation area A+ Experience
It's a big place, but everything is in order. Friendly staff, and a very clean environment
It's a very pleasant place and the staff is caring
Very professional and I'm in and out of there. Never a long wait.
This place is not normal. It's run by demons and devils.
Professional, courteous, friendly and facility is kept clean! ????
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
