Customer Reviews

Everyone is very polite and friendly and they are ALL awesome . Whenever I get hooked up I barely feel them insert the needle. I would strongly recommend to stop in and feel the love that's given and donate to save some lives. I have never had a bad experience here.

I have gone 19 times to this place and I have had only a few good experiences? SOME of their staff is friendly and helpful but MOST are extremely rude and seem to not want to be there to do their job. I have seen on MULTIPLE occasions a certain phlebotomist come into work with an attitude. She has even cursed her coworkers out and had to get sent into the back for her behavior. After coming out of the back room she continued to be rude to all of the people that she had to ?help?. Stomping around, being rude

Great job guys could not ask for better professionals for csl they get the job done quick n easy lil time waiting for the cells to be collected but after they do they help others ... Thank you and please ppl do consider donating today your life choices today could save a person and give them a good reason to see God's hands at work threw modern day technology here you all have a good day today n thankyou again everyone your donor Jody later y'all

WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU: You will have scars and bruises on both of your arms You will have your finger poked and bleed after waiting an hour and be sent home without gaining a single thing You will have a needle stuck into you painfully and readjusted over and over due to the new phlebotomists here having no experience and they won't be able to find your vein (Especially on the weekends when the older more experienced employees don't want to come in) You will be late for work if you come here in the m

Long wait times but the money is good

I dropped my son off to donate, he signed in and he had to use the bathroom. There were 3 men already using it, so he had to wait. He finished in the restroom and went and got back in line, he was in line for 45 minutes and when he was at the front on the line they came and told him his visit was canceled and had to start over ????? if you don't want people using the bathroom remove it! This is one of many reason people don't return to donate. Just because he was treated this way, I will never donate again

I am changing to a one star, since with constant staff changes and the like now Sunday's are closed days. This is after constant reductions to the donor fee, the ending of iGive Rewards points, and the frequent reduction in open hours. I like this place, but they are not possibly struggling this bad without some mismanagement on the corporate level.

It use to be a fast moving friendly location. They put in micro managers that stand around and talk down to the phlebotomists. No one looks happy to be working at this location and most of them moved on to other locations. You will be here no less than 3 hours now, the new process with stand around "supervisor" to belittle the people with needles is terrible for the people they will angrily jabbing with a needle. The employees are no longer social and friendly to put people at ease.

They turn you away for the littlest things I've been there 3 times and turned me away for a heart murmur that I don't even have (i got checked by two different doctors and came in with a doctors note stating I don't have one and they said we can't take that note they need there own special notes. Waste of time just go to bio blood they are way better

This is the worst plasma place I have ever donated. They have zero sense of urgency, so you can expect to be here for, at minimum, 3 hours when you come. There are a few good staff, but most of them act like they'd rather be doing anything else than helping their customers. Maybe instead of commenting on my poor review, you could assist me since I'm currently at the facility and have been waiting for almost 2 hours now to get poked!!!

Have to change review from 3 yrs ago. Although there are people that work there that are very nice, mostly they are sullen. Any really good people they get are not there long. I even got deferred for 9 months because they said I lied about a medical issue. I had to have a paper filled out by my doctor 3 times (the EXACT same paper) with him stating after many tests there was no issue as stated. When I questioned them, which they didn't like, I got 3 more months of deferral just because. I started donating

They've been lowering the payouts. It's gone down $15 in a month or two. It doesn't sound like mich but it makes a big difference. They still make $500 a bottle on plasma. So why do we get less?? CSL is getting greedy

I've been coming here a long time. And the staff is great. However, you guys hired a new girl and I was done giving blood, waiting for her to take the needle out. She took care of the people that was behind me in line, 3 people, and I'm not usually a complainer, but having a needle in my arm for 20 more minutes when I didn't have to was unpleasant. I do love the staff, you have some hardworking staff and they need raises.

Stop coming here over a year ago for many reasons. The people at the time had a huge attitude and I got looked at funny when I asked to repeat what they said due in part simply I didn't hear. The staff is so undertrained when it comes to sticking a needle in my arm and afterwards they ripped the needle right out and they look at you like it's your fault they you are bleeding profusely. Last time I went in April of last year I waited three hours just to get to a bed and another 30 mins just to start the pro

So overall it's not entirely horrible. You should expect a 2-3 hour wait every single time. I think they always have areas closed (like a whole bay area, usually #1) and they're always missing 2 people up where you have your weight and blood checked. I think that makes the process quite a bit longer. The other thing is I hate waiting to get unhooked. I usually wait 10-20 minutes extra with a needle in my arm before they notice me. The staff is mostly okay but there are definitely some with an attitude.

Staff are wonderful. But the fact that I make an "appointment" on the app, just to see at least a 2 hour wait, just to get in a bed? No thanks! You need to hire more staff. This is not acceptable. If I could give the company a zero, I would. As for the staff? they get a 10! I'm amazed you can keep any staff when you have this type of workload with the staff to keep it going. I've deleted a months worth of ::appointments" because of this.

The employees tell you that your next up in line to be taken off and then they decide they want to go to somebody else that is Long after you were done and they tell you that they're right there after this person and then they go to somebody else and you sit here for 15-20 minutes waiting to be disconnected. It's ridiculous as they have their little chit chat sessions to talk to other employees whether while you're waiting and then they say oh we're doing our job. No, they're not doing their job all the tim

I've never been to this specific csl, I attended the one in Wyoming. I'm a bruiser, so that made things alot easier, as in, I always got to skip the lines. By the time a bruise formed on one arm, the other arm bruise was healed. One way you can avoid long wait times is to go 1st thing in the morning. If they open at 7am, be there at least 45 minutes early, waiting at the door. There would only be like 2 or 3 people there, so if I didn't get to skip the line, I didn't have to wait as long. Also, 1st thing in

I was going to try to donate and then I read the reviews. Forget it. Remember they stick a needle in your arm and are not trained as nurses. It can be painful and they're not always kind to people. Not only that but you are in a line with a bunch of people and they take their sweet time.

My own experiences are this place is a joke to be honest the defer you for the stupidest reasons and there rude

First time at this location. I usually go to the Wyoming location. Diane gave me the least painful poke I've ever had. Very nice lady too.

I am not one for leaving a bad review, but the way I've been treated by this idiotic company is beyond unprofessional. I am now on probation, due to the incompetence and stupidity of the staff. Several times they have not properly inserted the needle causing a no or poor flow, wheb this has happened they have needed to readjusted the needle and at times that caused a no flow or no return. On multiple occasions the staff have completely missed my vein were I wasn't able to donate at all. When this issue was

All around it was a very pleasant experience. I had never donated plasma before and the staff was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. The entire building was extremely clean and their professionalism was top notch. I must have gotten lucky because their was no wait time at all from the initial registration process, to the physical, to the actual plasma donation. The best part of it all though, is the generous compensation you receive. Wil

Overall a great experience. They are much more efficient and pay more than bio-blood across town. Friendly staff. Also the app is great so you don't have to deal with the kiosk inside and jump right in line. The only negative is the long wait times, unless you like chatting with friendly strangers, same as bio-blood, which will improve with time as more people start working. As long as you're there early though you can usually be in and out within a couple hours. The only improvement I would suggest, and wi

I went to CSL Plasma and got checked in, tested, sat down, and ready to be stuck and go on with the process. A guy with long hair came and told me to clench my fist while he rubbed the stuff on my arm. He proceeded to poke me with the needle without telling me to unclench my fist. It hurt so bad but I kept going. After he started the machine, he walked away for less than 10 minutes before it stopped working. An older lady saw I was in distress and moving around and came to ask what was wrong in a rude tone.

Iv had 2 time where i really said nope.never again.. But it's not bad.. I have had a few times where the staff was rude but there's more polite ones than there is rude ones so that's a plus.. The line sometimes is super Long.. I just wait until it slows down. But all.in all.its a quick way to earn a lil extra pocket change..

I went there 5/1/2024 ..and I got in the line to take my vitals so I noticed the staff a lady that got mad because I didn't speak hello to her because she spoke to me and I didn't respond back so she started saying how she hated rude as people ..co workers standing there ain't saying anything about what's she saying about me ..so I said this is America people do what they wanna do not what you want them to do ..so on 5/1/2024 I got in line saw her working I went to the end of the line so I could be called

It's great for a first timer but, after that the organization needs to treat other customers better. I understand under staffing but managers should step in when a line for vitals and/ or lab gets long not moving. They should also have a sperated area for Platinum donors too. That lines can keep moving. It is really disturbing when you are a normal donor and you have to wait for new/Platinum donors can cut. This needs to be fix, please.

I enjoy going there. Most staff are very friendly, kind and fun to talk too. The wait times are long but depends on the day and time. They are short staffed probably need to get paid more. Only issue is with other donors being rude to others or staff.

Many people giving bad reviews. Either they have never donated plasma before, or are just plain grumps. The staff is always friendly. Sure there is usually a wait, but that should be seen as a good thing. I mean have you ever ordered from Mr Scribbs, there is always a wait!! For good reason. Yes, so the place is short staffed like most other businesses right now, but they make it work. I think it is worth every minute spent there. Even if they didn't pay us for our time, the world of good that our donation

Was told they can NOT take new donors until next week. Maybe put that out there for people so they don't drive all the way there?

I was just told to leave by EVELYN, who blatantly failed to identify herself!! after one guy was verbally and aggressively harassed me and 30 minutes later a woman cut me and I told her she couldn't have MY spot. I was completely embarrassed and now I can't buy dinner. I spent 2 hours getting there and have to spend 2 hours getting home all without the money I waiting to get for no reason. This was completely unfair especially since that the people who were harassing me got to stay. When I called to speak t

CSL Muskegon has an incredible staff. So many people are struggling right now and have to resort to donating plasma to get by; the kindness the staff shows to the people who come into the place shows great care and compassion. I would like to mention one person in particular?Jessica. She worked with me on my first donation and could not have made me feel more welcome and relaxed?her sweet, soft-spoken demeanor and concern for me made, what seemed like a very daunting endeavor, much more pleasant. She ev

I dont even know where to begin. Wait times are the biggest issue for most doners; expect to wait 2-3 hours before your even in a chair. The workers are over worked and under staffed, causing stress which can affect customer service. And sometimes there will be payment delays. On the good side, you can meet some really good people there and have some laughs. I believe if you use the appointment system like Biolife, things will go a lot smoother. But other than that, be ready to stand for hours.

It's clean and the process is pretty easy. Depends on when you go. Sometimes I can walk right in and other times the line is a bit long. I'm updating my review. I think I'm going to have to move to another donation center. They keep changing hours, closing early, etc. I come from a half hour away, so it's really irritating to never know when they actually are going to be open.

Second visit and it seems to be pretty good staff is very friendly.05/09/23 The staff is overworked one person at the vitalchek point 9 people to check in. 12 waiting to donate 4 phlebotomist Under staff long wait. October 11 2024 seem to be running a little bit smoother

The business on Apple avenue in Muskegon Michigan is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. In order to donate plasma one time I had to make multiple trips to the plasma place because they had problems. The second time I tried to donate I showed up at their facility at 5:45 a.m. was the first person in line and waited over an hour to go in. The app would not let me do the pre-screen. And the kiosks would not read my fingerprint. After waiting an hour outside in line 30 people got to cut in front of me.

Waited for 2 1/2 hours and never got seen

Deb pastor is a terrible nurse!! Horrible experience. I'm praying that no one has to deal with her discussing attitude.

The employees care more about taking their breaks especially when it's a line almost out the door their are some workers who work fast to get vitals and some who take there sweet time when going to the donating floor some take there time to unhook you from the machines and get mad if your letting them know your finished this is every single time I've gone to donate and when I asked other visitors they say the same thing? they need more staff to do better cause it's still not getting any better

Wish I checked the reviews before hand????.This place is a joke, very, very slow you stand in line at least for twenty to thirty minutes just for you to get your vitals checked, then IF you check out good for that. You get to stand in line again for what takes forever . And then if who ever sticks you don't get give you a hematoma you can go back and go through all that again. Am not to impressed. At All. !!!!

I guess going to this plasma center you're not allowed to have comprehension disabilities. I guess you can't not understand something. I guess they forget ppl with disabilities come in there for help to support their family. I was walking out the door having some lady yelling across the room. All because I didn't understand made me feel like a stupid child. Everybody is untitled to have a bad day. But never once did a curse word come out of my mouth. I'll never come there again. Most humiliating experience

Some days are faster than others. Wished they had chairs for their donates while waiting their turn. I've STOOD in the line for 2 hrs a couple times. Just uncomfortable at times.

Most of the staff have shitty attitudes.

Stopped going for a few months because it was such a disaster there. Decided to go back. Couldn't be happier. New staff. Better attitudes. Hardly any wait time. Much more professionally run. Like night and day difference. Love it. Keep up the great work. Thanks everyone

I've never had an issue or problem with any staff, they are all quite kind and helpful, and today Nikki even took the time to set my phone up with the app so I could see my information and csl's as well.. Thank You So Much for all Your Help Miss Nikki????

Good friendly staff only problem I have is instead of getting people started they pull one at a time and make you wait in their line for 2 hours just to get your vitals checked then you have to wait another 1 to 2 hours before they even call you back to start the donation process then when you done donating it take about 20 to 30 minutes for them to come take the needle out of your arm the will look at you and ignore you tell their don't hooking up who's ever in line then they will take you out I have to st

Honestly thought CSL was a joke until I came to the Muskegon location. It blows the Grand Rapids one out of the water. Nice, efficient staff and great atmosphere. Also, so much cleaner than the other location!

Corporate has a hiring freeze so staff is over worked and plan to stand in line for at least 2 hours before you can donate. Pretty ridiculous! They need more employees to keep the line moving.

Im not sure why this place has such a low rating. I've had a great experience with the staff and they were more than willing to go out of their way to help people. I was dehydrated and almost passed out once and my phlebotomist ran and got me an ice pack, a powerade, and sat and fanned me with her folder.

I have two problems with this place one there's nowhere to set one in line. They should have a bench that wraps around the wall, so people can just scoot down. Two there are not TV in the Donate in room. It would help kill time.

Never open on time, we've been waiting outside for 30 minutes, they have no accommodations for the disabled and are rude about anyone needs the extra help because they can't see or hear.

Taking 5 dollars from every donation, cause of a extra week. DONT ADVERTISE AN EXTRA 20 OR 30 DOLLARS FOR 5TH AND 8TH DONATION, WHEN YOUR CLEARLY NOT.

This place is so much cleaner, friendlier, and organized than any other center I've ever been to. The pay out is easy to follow and is consistent. Best place to donate ever!!!

Waited over 40 mins in line and still hadn't been checked in! Only one person was checking ppl blood! People were lined up to the door! Try to do good and donate plasma but you can't unless you have all day to be there! Staff clearly doesn't care!

Great place to go to! Staff is super nice an truly cares about there patients. They explain everything very thoroughly so there isn't any confusion.

Muskegon CSL is awful, waiting for hours and feelings of being unsafe. They have people drawing plasma that don't know what they are doing, lines that wrap around and people threatening others in line. Very ghetto and unsafe! Do not go there. Even when you try and call the prepaid card services they give you attitude, same person 2x. Do not go here

The wait is extremely long they have open chairs low staff the staff members who are there working are too busy worrying about other staff members or going out after work. They need to hire more staff along with opening more chairs for donating. Waiting 2 half hours is ridiculous.

Staff is awesome on the floor and taking vitals, but what gets me is when you're waiting to go back they kinda drag their feet laying and talking like nobody has any where to be

The staff all were friendly. They kept checking on me as my machine was acting up. They thanked me & made me feel very welcomed.

I have had a awesome experience with CSL PLASMA.THE people are all very nice, especially,NIKKI and HEAVEN,they have been VERY VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to CSL PLAMA in MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN.APPLE AND GETTY ST. IS THERE LOCATION.

Carrie and Alyson and Austin aka ak is doing a perfect job helping clients and making us laugh while working very hard with a floor full of donors good bless their heart for their kindness and funny jokes

I would give this place a 0 star rating if I could. You're all extremely rude and terrible at communication. Don't think I'll come back to this location, to be honest.

Horrible place to donate, the staff is amazing but it takes 3+ hours to donate unless you're new and they will deny you 30 mins before they close because they don't want to work anymore, I wouldnt recommend anyone to donate here until they get things in order, so many things need improving

Absolutely horrific experience, I will not return or donate blood or plasma again!!!! If you want to donate GO ELSEWHERE! They are very incompetent and will stick you several times and damage your arms/ vein's!

Phenomenal center. Biolife was terrible and these guys showed them who's boss. Heather was awesome!

All of the staff is nice and friendly. Most of the phlebotomist know what they are doing. Good experience come back often

They have great staff that interact and actually hold conversation when be talked to all staff have smiles even when you tell they don't want to

Refuses to let my Certified Service Dog into the building. I even offered to provide his legal paperwork. They have denied him access which is against ADA rules.

I like csl! Its nice way to earn extra money. The workers are nice and caring. Csl is very clean place so i recommend csl to everyone!?

Extremely slow staff, they set up beds then put people on ones that aren't after not bringing anyone to the floor in an hour

Slow as slow can every time I go the line is out the door the workers spend more time talking then anything take forever to get thru the vitals check line then they need to get new machine I swear there always something wrong I've went q week ago an supposedly my protein was low so I couldn't go back until today so I go stand in line for over an hour just to get my vitals done just for her to tell me my iron is low lies I've never ever had a problem with my iron being low ever I will never go back there aga

So much miscommunication here. Noone knows what anyone says. So they waste ur time then defer you cause they dont wanna do their job.... Avoid at all costs.

If i could give 0 stars i would todays visit was a joke they brought me back i wanted to use the restroom after 2 hours in their line got back they said sit her 2 new donors and 3 regulars got brought in before they Finally hooked me up worst customer service too they blamed me for their incompetence

Hit or miss how the atmosphere will be, expect to spend at least 2 hours anytime you try and come. Sometimes is less, usually more.

Makes your bruise to where you can't donate when there's barely a bruise there so watch your arms

This place has slowly gotten worse I have came in 2 times to donate and both those times the 2 lines were to the door with a whole 1st row of donor chairs completely empty

Staff is very slow.. too busy talking rather than getting people in and out like they should.. and at least one staff member has had trouble staying awake during shift..

It was going good until some rude loud black lady came to assist because she don't know how to talk to employees or customers

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They try to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

I was just turned away because they are supposedly understaffed but they were continually to see people after me

Great place to earn a little extra money and save lives while doing so. Friendly staff!

Lovely staff but always have trouble getting money for referral or anything else

These mfkas tried to get free plasma outta me and DIDNT EVEN TALK ABOUT COMPENSATING ME

Slow slow service! Floor workers not doing their job because they are too busy talking about work gossip ??

Very kind people working there, helpful, trying to give you the best experience possible.

Great .. Hard Working polite Staff And very helpful I felt comfortable there ...
