Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise CSL Plasma for its friendly, professional staff and clean facilities, with many highlighting efficient service during non-peak hours. However, several note significant wait times due to understaffing, especially during rushes, which frustrates donors. A few mention painful or careless needle insertions, while others appreciate the gentle, skilled phlebotomists. First-time donors often report lengthy visits. Despite some complaints about delays, many prefer CSL over competitors like BioLife for its better service and compensation. Overall, positive experiences outweigh negatives, but wait times remain a common drawback.

I understand the principle of donating, however as much profits this company makes, the incentives are just not worth it. Long wait times for very little funds! And now, make sure when you refer someone that everything went through on your code cause you will not be paid that 100 they say you would get! Lies!!!! They will not give you your bonus funds

Candice is always the best, very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I have been to 3 different plasma centers and CSL is by far the best! I went to BioLife and was told my plasma was to fatty to donate multiple times and that a doctor needed to clear my health before donating. I have never had a problem with CSL. The wait times have increased with the new machines but my donating time was cut in half.

Completely fine with parading a puppy throughout the place at 2:57pm on May 31 of 2025. But when it comes to letting me and my son sit in the waiting room to keep out of the heat while my younger brother donated that was a no go. Sounds like priorities are crossed

I love the staff every time I come in to donate, I'm always warmly welcomed! The donation process is quick and easy. A special thank you to Amanda Phleb. and Krystal for making the experience enjoyable every time!

This place does a very good job at doing the bare minimum, yesterday I went in after 5 years away. My blood pressure was high no big deal they said come back the next day. I went back today, and they made me see medical immediately and the doctor looked at my records from 5 years ago and decide to disqualify me on the spot, no test or anything like that. I have no issues at any other plasma donation center.

Staff are friendly for the most part I got through the vitals line pretty quick but I am now in line to get to the donation floor been here almost 2 hours and looking back there's a line almost to the bathroom of people waiting to get to the donation floor. Ridiculous when I first started donating it wasn't to bad but it seems to be getting worse no matter what time of the day you come in.

Out of all the plasma centers in Treasure Valley, this is the best one! Thank you, Ben, for being a gentle stickler.... ???? #PlasmaDonation #Healthcare #Phlebotomist #TreasureValley

CSL is amazing. I have only had great experiences there. The staff is so kind and very good at what they do.

I have donated with csl for a couple of years. They got new machines a couple weeks ago and i gave some grace the first week as they adjusted, but I have been unable to go in anytime that there wasn't an hour plus wait to even get to the donor table. This is going past to check more than once on multiple days. Not worth 2+ hours of my time when I can go over to biolife and be done in an hour.

I obtained several very deep and large bruises on my second plasma procedure. The initial phlebotomist failed to appropriately monitor me and the process. Instead, she left the donor floor for her lunch break. Another phlebotomist took over, but failed to do anything when I notified him the blood pressure cuff was becoming tighter and very painful. I've spoken to a nursing staff about this extremely painful and serious result. Due to the extensive bruising on my arm, I am now unable to resume any donation s

Unsure of the learning curve in new equipment but since getting new equipment times have gone from an hour to closer to three hours. Talking to people in the line, I found out that BioLife is much quicker and pays more. I had no idea there was another plasma company around. Save yourself some time and visit BioLife.

Second Rate company that does not care or prioritize your time or efforts. Went in as a first time donor, moved over from Biolife because it was closer. During my medical physical the ?nurse? at CSL said I had a very concerning heart rhythm and proceeded to attend diagnosing me with a slew of conditions. I told him I have a physician who I see regularly, just 8 weeks ago in fact, who has no concerns about my heart. Nonetheless, I am deferred until I bring back a paper from my Doctor clearing me to donate. I

Love this location everyone isn't just there just to be there they actually care and I love going to place where they don't do loop holes they are honest and kind over all. I have gone to CSL in Boise and it's so awkward this is my place, BioLife ain?t got nothing on this location, it's not the same environment or energy, thanks for the team you all have. You all rock!

I've never had issues here the staff of generally pleasant, and the wait isn't usually to bad. I've come in the morning and the evening, and both times I've had pleasant interactions with the staff. No problems

Brittany did really good on poking me and she was really fun to talk to and really enjoyable

This has been my first experience donating plasma. The facility is very clean and friendly at front desk! The Nurse Tammy is my Favorite! She is so kind and helpful explaining everything and answering my questions! I have went 5x now and Monday Cassie put my needle in and got me hooked up. She was the BEST phlebotomist I have had so far. I barely felt the needle go in! She was very kind and gentle, she did not act like she was in a huge hurry. I mentioned that I would like to have a squeeze ball, that I tho

Place is usually nice and clean. Staff commonly nice & that they're busy and multitasking. So communication is often cut short. Though Courtney was very rude today, not just to me, but to another client. I saw she literally stabbed him with the needle so hard I'm in fear her doing it to me the next time I donate. Looked like she was trying to Sabotage and bruise him. She was rough with me and didn't care. I was going to tell someone else but she was also dismantling others. Maybe she was frustrated it was a

The staff are all very friendly and professional. They are gentle when inserting and removing the needle. They are kind and ask about your day to get to know you more. Great place to donate!

I have been going to BioLife to donate until now a couple of my work buddies keep telling me to try CSL because it's better and that they made the switch and CSL was better and I have to agree CSL was amazing!!! Stuff is amazing from the people that helped me. They explained everything amazing. CSL is my go to from now on. The pay is better CSL makes it worth it!!!!

Great staff and overall a pleasant experience here at CSL Plasma.

The first two times you go, expect to add an extra hour or so to your visit (as expected with any place that has to get you in the system). After that, it's a lot easier to go through the process. Having login availability on your phone makes it easier/faster than having to get out of line to take a health quiz. After doing this for a few years, bringing a light jacket for one arm warmth and headphones makes everything fly by. The first 5 time $100 bonus and nearly $50 every time after makes the whole thing

Great clean efficient facility. Employees are professional and polite. Brittany is a excellent phlebotomist! Go to place for plasma donation.

Best place to donate. The staff is the friendliest in the valley. The bonus incentives are kinda trash, but the base payout is better than anywhere else. Unless you religiously donate 8-10 times a month, you'll get more here than anywhere else.

These folks do their best daily, you can tell. They are courteous and outgoing. Each employee I've encountered has treated me with dignity and respect. The place is always clean and I feel safe every time I am there. Sometimes they seem overwhelmed with things and stuff to do, but who isn't right now? They keep their heads high even when there's a lot going on. Bravo!

Always very friendly and professional. I'm a first thing in the morning get in get out kind of girl and the AM crew is always so efficient and fast. This crew makes it easy and smooth to continue to return.

I love the staff they are professional and skilled Nelly, Hilda, Lizett, and Amanda they make me feel welcome and comfortable every single time I go. Also want to recognize Dyln for the amazing person he is he caring and always making sure that each time I donate am doing OK. It's always a pleasure to see him. As a frequent donor at CSL plasma. I have had the opportunity to meet one of the best LPNs. Whenever I come to my appointment, I am welcomed by Miss Francina, with a smile. She takes time out of he

Very clean and large facility. They are understaffed right now in summer. The wait is ridiculously long. I arrived 20 minutes before opening on a Wednesday. Once it opened, they had 18 people in line and one staff member doing vitals. It's only worth it because I am in my first 8 donations and have new donor bonuses. The payout isn't worth my time after my bonus donations run out. Staff up CSL. I'd like to keep coming.

I always have a great experience at the Nampa CSL. It seems like they keep an excellent handle on their rotation as the ability to plan my visit is much more consistent than BioLife in Nampa where it changes every few weeks. Being able to pre check in is a very helpful in keeping efficient. I can tell they take care of their staff as they are always pleasant to work with. Their team seems experienced and always dedicated to getting me in and out quickly. The fee schedule is more welcoming than most other pl

I came with my girlfriend to donate and Crystal had the worst attitude. She rudely told me I couldn't stand next to my gf at the kiosk , something we didn't know wasn't allowed. I simply said there's ways of talking to people. After that when my gf went back Crystal rudely again talks about the situation (in her LOUD voice I'm sure the whole facility heard) and says what happens , my gf tried explaining that we didn't know that wasn't allowed Crystal says ? I'm not talking to you? . How rude is that. Why ar

Honest truth, the wait is crazy it doesn't matter what time or day you go, if your a first time donor expect to be there ALL day. The staff aren't the kindest, they all seem like your taking something from them. I have yet to get a smile from any of ?em. My last time they infiltrated both arms, waiting for them to heal a bit before going back a week later for the guy to stick the needle in so hard he ?lost? the vein. THREE more people came to look last one says restick. He said well it looks like we will ha

I love this place! The staff is always friendly and very inviting. It's very calm and comfortable and clean. This will always be the place I donate plasma. It's amazing!

I was nervous donating, as I was a first timer, but the staff walked me through the process and it put me at ease. The staff members were all so friendly that I felt so welcomed? seriously, ALL of them are just so great. They are definitely keeping the facility clean as I see them wiping down the lounge chairs and equipment as soon as a donor leaves, and they are social distancing their donors too. I work at a hospital so I know how important plasma donation is and how life changing it can be for patient

Employees here are fast and efficient and respect your time. Hard to believe it's the same company as the Boise location, where employees compete to see who can move slower. Go here if you can.

I've been donating for years. These people are professional and you don't have the weird doctor's office feeling. They're friendly and relaxed

I wasn't able to donate but the staff was fabulous. They got to me right away and explained each step thoroughly.

I've done more physicals than donations here. They are understaffed and the ones that are working couldn't add a little hustle to save their lives. Wait times are excruciating and all you can do is stand there? no chairs at all while you wait to donate. If this is how all donation centers are I can see why we'd have shortages. Who wants to spend 2-3 hours waiting to donate?

The staff is super nice. They never seem to have enough phlebotomist though so the line is always moving slow.

The team on Sunday was very short staffed, and still were keeping it moving at a fast pace. Crystal and Taylor were sticking and cleaning up with smiles on their faces. Very nice people.

The donation process was fine. People were pretty friendly. I had donated over 200 times at another plasma center though so I am definitely not a rookie. After my first donation, I am driving home and kept feeling cold on my arm inside my sweater. When I get home, I realize that cold was blood. The wrap was not tight enough or in the wrong spot. Freaked my wife out when she saw my arm completely covered in blood. I had never had anything like this before. I may consider going back to the other cente

Called and asked if I could still donate after having a stroke 2yrs ago they said I needed to come in. So went in today did everything and I kept telling them about my stroke. Instead of them telling me I can't donate they made me do all the steps as if I was able to donate then after 2hrs of the whole process they tell me I cant...should tell you before they even do anything especially if that was my main concern. Understaffed but staff just walking around talking instead of pushing people thru, rude emplo

Lovely people. Open days meaning no appointment needed. And unlimited referral bonuses. #loveit

Dude, i seriously love this place & these people so much. They're so kind, understanding, they care & are great at their jobs. I'm so happy i chose to donate w them instead of other plasma places!?

This is by far the best facility to donate plasma in the treasure valley! Having your blood drawn for an hour should definitely feel uncomfortable however, these care workers made me feel like I was in a day spa the whole time. Thank you for a good experience.

They get 2 stars due to there complete lack of communication and courtesy. I had a TB test done and it bruised. So they flag my acct and send me to medical to look at it. Ok they looked and passed me. 2 days later I go in to donate and guess what? My acct is still flagged. Can't use kiosk. I go to medical to have them look again. They pass me. I go and get my vitals checked and they see the bruise so guess what? They send me to medical even though I told them I've already been seen TWICE. I wait forever to

I've been donating for the last 10 years on and off and was happy a new place just down the street opened. I've donated about 8 times so far and am pleased with this place. Nothing fancy but no complaints. Staff is nice and seem to know what they are doing.

I love this place. The staff is always so kind and willing to educate. I've lived in the valley most my life and it's nice knowing that these are the same individuals from my community just trying to help. Highly recommend.

Permanently deferred due to my Borderline Personality Disorder. They say it's nothing wrong with my plasma but that my mental state makes me unsafe. I was assured they weren't ?singling me out? but I am being discriminated against and labeled as a hazard due to my mental diagnoses. Will be looking further into actions that can be taken against this center because I am furious.

I absolutely LOVE CSL Plasma I've been donating there since they opened and have become pretty good friends with alot of the employees and I would highly recommend this place to anyone it really is a family atmosphere here!!

I am so thankful for CSL Plasma. Not only do I get to help people but gives me a better financial freedom. The staff is professional and feels like a family when I visit.

The employees obviously don't want to be there and have a nasty attitude I watched a kid yelling he was gonna puke and all they had to say was ?you are fine?

CSL is a very clean place to donate plasma. Their staff is both extremely professional and nice. They have better bedside manner than most hospitals. I strongly recommend.

Staff are great but there are not enough staff working during the rush. Sorry but it gets less and less worth the money when it takes 2 hours to complete a donation that only takes 45 minutes.

Been a regular donor at Bio and decided CSL is closer so waited a week (also had a small bruise on right arm due to july4th donation). Came in today was turned away because 1 person checked my left arm and decided nope not good enough. So im like ok went right over to Bio plasma and guess what? Successfully donated from my left arm today. CSL lost a potential full time donor. Unbelievable. They act like they need donors and excited when they turn ya away. Go to Bio this place won't even TRY to make ya a don

I am going on 2 years donating and have missed very few days in that time. CSL is a great center in general but this center is the best in that even the managers are helpful any way they can...even sticking people when they get busy!

I have been a donor for over 2 years have never had staff be rude or anything even when busy but today not busy at all during screening process staff member lelani was very rude and short IT was not appreciated at all.

Loved this clinic and wouldn't go anywhere else. Brittany and others take care of their donors

I love donating plasma here. They have great bonuses. They get you in and out. Staff are friendly and bussiness is very clean.

Staff was very friendly No difficulty in donating. Highly recommended for everyone.

I walked in as a new donor and left after sitting for an hour and a half. There are more walls and doors in this place than a bank so they probably forget you're even there

Staff are so friendly, and the process is easy and handled professionally. I have come in over a hundred times in the last year and a half!

Clean, quick and professional. Their staff always provides friendly customer service! Best plasma center hands down!

Brandon Johnson goes way above and beyond in doing his duties.

Everybody at CSL plasma is better than biolife. You guys work so hard and I will always keep on coming here.

Amazing awesome people very friendly and respectful just a great place to go absolutely my favorite place to go

CSL plasma In Caldwell Idaho is amazing the staff all are friendly and professional...great place

Enjoy the staff. Have had good experience at the Caldwell Center.

This place was a great experience. There are so many awesome people there. Don't hesitate to check them out

First time donating to plasma. I got to say the staff are friendly and nice. Donating is easy and quick.

The people are so friendly, at times there are lines BUT I come in to donate on my time and for that I can not complain!

I Am A continuing donor and CSL is the best place I've donated their very helpful very friendly and very kind they know what they're doing and they listen to what you have to say it was very nice being able to donate somewhere where I felt like my voice was heard

By far the most unsanitary place I have been walking around there side of there building and find used bottles of plasma just sitting out in the open world also if your a young mom waiting for your husband to donate DONT expect them to allow you and your baby in a stroller to come in to just use their bathroom seems like they themselves are aware of there unsanitary conditions considering minors can't even come into the bathroom with a mom out waiting for there loved one to donate in there facility.

Dylan is amazing and the whole crew rocks at this CSL every one is so friendly

I don't know what's up with these guys but all of the sudden their personal drama is more important than you. We choose to no longer go.

The staff is always kind. Clean facility. I'm able to be in and out in decent time

Absolutely love the staff at this center. I enjoy donating at this location ??

Staff is always super nice and friendly. They are quick and great at what they do

Nice and clean employees and the Boss are all amazing nice people I always feel at home there !! Thank you CSL caldwell/nampa

Always a wonderful experience. First name bases with consistency of course

They have great staff that really cares about your well-being.

They don't fix mistakes caused by their newer employees. They'll point the finger at them though.

Very fun must the time. Never have any issues compared to Biolife.

I recommend coming here the staff is nice and I had good experience.

I'm a regular donar. Me and my wife got turned down for speaking Spanish. Racist!!!

They let their staff hurt your arm and because you cussed at the pain they do not let you come back so don't go to them unless your ok with getting hurt and being banished because you said something

Great staff, always willing to answer questions and make sure needs are met.

The Staff is Absolutely Amazing ?? I Will Forsure Continue Donating ??

Such a great place!!! Staff is friendly and efficient! Definitely recommend this place!

Excellent donor care, fast responses, overall the best service.
