I had a great experience at CSL Plasma thanks to a young man named Rodrigo. He checked my vitals and took the time to explain everything, which really helped calm my nerves. I usually get anxious during the process, but Rodrigo made me feel comfortable and at ease. His professionalism and friendly attitude made a big difference. Thank you, Rodrigo, for your kindness and for making the whole experience much better!
Long lines, apathetic staff, routinely doesn't even open on time. As others have said, the time-exhaustive process of standing in multiple unnecessarily long lines and dealing with the indifference makes the whole thing not seem worth it. I have a hard time believing things can't be better.
Asian Doctor with a stained lab coat got me kicked out because I said the floor was dirty when he asked me take off my shoes for a height measurement. He then told me the beds are dirtier but I'm still here. These people are mocking clients for donations. Apparently they know it's not a clean facility and it's a joke. Glad I didn't make it past the weight scale!
WHAT HAPPEN CSL!! This site was phenomenal about a year ago but now the wait does not justify the cost of going. Getting through vitals is quicker but the donation process will have you STANDING for about 60 to 90 mins. Sometimes longer if they are VERY short staff. They used to at least let a group of people come in and sit but now everyone just stands in the line. They have lost a lot of phlebotomist, and the ones that are there are clearly tired and going through the motions. They are either looking at
The staff at this location are awesome but CSL corporate loves to screw people over on bonus money. Made my 8th donation today just to find out that I wasn't going to receive my bonus because I donated between to different locations, yet I received an email about bonuses given in the month of December from both the newark and dover locations. Never had an issue until today. I received my 5th donation bonus so what's the issue? CSL needs to do better.
I transferred from Dover CSL. Dover everything moved along nicely. Newark My first visit was great. The people are so nice and helpful. Since then, the lines back up to where you see the first person. There are workers that hustle in there but there are also slackers. And the ones that work hard get frustrated. I've been firmly talked to but I understand their stress and don't take it personal. I feel bad for the hard workers because they do their best to make up for what the slackers don't do. If I can see
This location had been getting worse and worse every visit. Went from about 1 hour in line to past 2 hours not matter what time of day. They have faster machines but everything else now takes longer which I don't understand. They don't even have enough space for how long the line gets. Now today I t?s Sunday at 1150am the center should be open until 3. The voicemail said they are currently closed. Why? I am doing this around my work schedules so Being closed on Sunday is the icing on the cake. They seem ex
Everyone there is very nice.. I have a lot of favorites but my favorite favorites are Destiny and Malcolm.
I was nervous to try a new donation place because of my experience at another nearby center where they really messed up my arm more than once and I only donated there over a span of a month and a half. I'm so happy I gave CSL a chance because this location specifically is awesome. Everyone is always very nice and friendly. On my first visit, I was surprised the security guard came over to help direct me on where to go first and was helpful to the staff too during my visit. The staff there are definitely t
I went for the first time to donate plasma last Sunday. The girl that I had was absolutely amazing. I wasn't very hydrated and what should probably take 30 to 40 minutes took me 3 hours and everyone was super super nice and I would definitely go back again. The person who helped me was Jasmine and she was phenomenal.. she knows her stuff. Very professional. The whole team. Great experience. And knowing how I am helping is a blessing in itself.
What a great experience, The people are nice, and caring, and I appreciate their bedside manner. Especially Jade. She took care of me fast and I didn't feel a thing and I'm very scared of needles, lol
This location is has the longest lines it's ridiculous however the one In Aston, Pa is good but what I don't understand is why only Dover and Philly open on Sundays?
I gave 3 stars, a month ago I would have given 4 or 5 stars. They have lost quite a few phlebotomists in the last month and now there is always a very long line that doesn't move. My favorite phlebotomists were Jasper and Jasmine, both gone. They were fast, knowledgeable and fun. There was always a lot of fun chatter between the phlebotomists themselves and also the patients. Now it's just dead silent. Please bring back jasmine and jasper and please please please hire more staff
I have donated in the past and always have a issue i though it was me and my tiny veins and it didn't help to have someone sticking me who wasn't certified in phlebotomy and talking to there Co-worker while trying to hit the target. They have made me feel like my diet wasn't proper or i am not drinking fluid . This discourage me and i had to use the bathroom each time my blood was given back i feel this is because the needle wasn't properly injected. Friday 8/9/2024 i met the supervisor he is a young man ?
Absolutely stellar experience at CSL Plasma, thanks to the incredible team! Oriane, Mark, April, Jasper, and Megan each provided exceptional service that went above and beyond. Oriane's warm welcome and professionalism set a positive tone from the moment I walked in. Mark's expertise and efficiency ensured a smooth and painless donation process. April's attention to detail and compassionate care made me feel valued and comfortable throughout. Jasper's upbeat attitude and thorough explanations answered all
Yesterday was my second time donating.... Jasmine is absolutely amazing...she has an amazing bed side manner!! Def kept me laughing and made me comfortable!! She told me she has been doing this for 16yrs I believe... she deserves a raise...and to move up!!
I really love this location and the people are always accommodating, warm and friendly and welcoming every week I go. My favorites are Jasmine and Nilam they are the only two who can stick me and they always get it with no problem. Thank you for your help and love you ladies have shown me.
This Is The Worst Center I've been To by far and I've been to CSL in 3 states, all the staff do is talk when there are plenty of people that either need to be stuck or taken down they don't take your time into consideration, Philadelphia is a way busier center and way more people and they still move efficiently and I'm out of there in about 1 hour a hour in a half tops but CSL Newark needs help or better management it's not fair to the donors I wish I could give zero stars honestly. Nothing against the staf
Worst experience ever. Read the reviews before I came and thought they were maybe exaggerated. Nope they weren't. Came earlier in the week and sat for 4+ hours just to be told I couldn't donate because it's been too long since I ate. Although I ate 30 minutes before I arrived. Then I come back early in the morning today as instructed so I I maybe wouldn't have to wait so long and I'm told my heart rate is too high to donate. This place is so unorganized. Maybe my heart rate wouldn't have been 5 points over
Great way to help others and also help yourself. Staff can be a little slow at this location though. Regardless they are pleasant and can be really sweet/funny. But some days, they don't move with a sense of urgency at all. Do the donor survey, stay healthy, eat and drink before you come to make sure everything goes smooth and you're in and out.
3 hours every time I come. I will do my last donation and stop coming for good and find another place to bring my donations and use my time wisely.
Quick and easy! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Oriana! I was a first time donor and her kind energy helped calm my nerves.
Oriane is amazing I'm a regular she works the front back and all the above I miss here upfront so much she is the best overall I love Csl cause she works there truly a gem
Staff is pleasant. Especially Oriane! She's super helpful and caring. Easy way to help others in need and make a little extra jingle!
Oriane was my initial vitals checker and jasmine took care of getting me hooked up to the machine. Oriane is polite everything and is a pleasure to talk to each time I have her. Very professional. Jasmine is one of the best phlebotomists and always takes care of me. Often other employees have minor issues with my vein as it kinda goes sideways and jasmine everytime fixes it just fine.
My 3 stars is because I've been going to this center since June 2022. Up until recently I had no issues with staff at all. So Monday March 18 at around 6:40 pm. And you with the earring in your nose and pink glasses. Anyway 4 times in a row I get deferred from this lady. I have no clue why other than somewhere some how it's something I guess this person has against me. Ok the first time it's cool maybe I need to check myself so I been to my doctor to be told I'm all good. Second time I'm like dang. OK I co
What I can say is most of the staff are rude and the manager of the employees Esacy however you spell her name she is really rude and talks about her staff and talks about her donors and tells their business like she still in high school. How you expect your staff to be respectful if you can't even set an example make that make sense. But I can say oriare,Tory and a few other people in there are nice. I just can't stand how unprofessional a lot of them are especially the manager Ms. Esacy, I came to her ab
Jasmine is the light in the center. She always has a smile on pretty face. She is kind to everyone she treats. Her professionalism is unmatched. CSL is lucky to have her. She should run the center it would run much smoother. A lot of donors would miss her. I hope some will follow up and she hiw valuable she is to this company. Sharon Rozier
2nd time I have came in and Oriane is so amazing! She definitely makes you feel welcomed and makes sure you are good before going back to get hooked up.
Im not a new donor but I'm very satisfied with jasmine in the back and Oriane up front she was hurting today but she was moving and handling the front end like a champion . Ori was in the back and did a amazing job being back there being new to that area I noticed she was not screening in the front so hopefully she back soon and it was overall a good experience today even if it's short staffed .
I am so very happy coming here and seeing Oriane!! She is the best!! She takes her time and makes sure you are doing great!! Love her she's the best!!
oriarne and Jasmin and neelem are the best. I look forward to seeing them everytime. Especially Oriane at the front desk. She's helped me and even has went out of her way to make sure I'm taken care of. Thank you so muchhhhh. I'm a frequent donor and reccomend jasmine for your phlebotomist ?????
Oriane is amazing she's in the back and moves fast I've been here a few times she's the best and jazz is to they need to promote her
I understand they're severely short staffed atm. Not their problem. But it would be awesome to out a sign up saying you aren't taking new donors that day. Waiting to be helped at the counter for 30 minutes while I tried to figure it out on my phone. Security guard just watched me. As soon as I decide to go sit down, another gentlemen walks in, up to the counter, and the security guard immediately addresses him, explaining their busy, someone will be right there, xyz. So I decide to go back up, and while wai
A lot of horse playing and talking I sat down in the chair for 30 minutes before I ever got stuck when I expressed my concerns to the manager it went in one ear out the other I was disrespected by a staff that refused to stick me and kept walking past me my overall experience there is zero no one is professional everyone is unprofessional. Everyone is young with months experience not years . They need a whole new staff members Professional ones and older one. don't ever go after 4 PM you will get this exper
Csl plasma will always be awesome. But this location lacks professionalism and staff . They have a bunch of young individuals standing around while one person is actually working and sticking people
Tyree is a very respectful guy that will help you with all your needs. Answers every question you need answered over the phone and doesnt rush you. Highly recommend coming here ??
Thier new way of prepping the machines to the time it takes to be seated has caused a normal 1.30min process to nothing shorter than 3hrs for everyday clients and the new ones have a shorter time frame to wait including going to the head of the 3hr lines it's incredibly taxing and starting to male absolutely mo sense for those who have lives, it's a complex and completely drawn out process that makes you wanna walk away.
Jasmine at CSL plasma is always such a pleasure, always has high energy good charisma and makes me laugh. Very prompt with her disconnects and very pleasant with her sticks! I hope I get her every time!
Found out I was permanently deferred from this not only this place but the entire company due to some misunderstanding that happened a year ago. Tech insulted me and my appearance and made judgements and apparently I threatened the tech and 'called the cops" which I never did. Smh this place is trash and so is the staff. Assistant manager needs better phone etiquette as well. If anyone is looking to donate here please don't. Bio Life and ABO plasma pays better and has more reputable staff than this place. T
I have been to this facility about four times but today was just a little different. Overall not all phlebotomists have gained my trust and today I was stuck by someone who previously messed up my arm. But thanks to one of the wonderful ladies working (sad I didn't catch her name) she was Puertorican with dark hair, she was awesome, first sight of discomfort and she sped to me. Thanks to that Angel I was able to feel better instantly. I didn't even have to tell her I wasn't feeling too well because she kept
They're really unprofessional and waste your time. They will have you sitting for hours just to defer you because of your heart rate. The deferred me when they weren't supposed after I sat for an hour and a half. Will not be donating with them any longer.
It was very clean and I was treated very well will definitely do again jasmine I absolutely love her she helped me so well even though I was scared of needles but I didn't feel a thing thank u so much I forgot the other 2 ladies name but thank you ??
Ms. Oriane is most considerate and friendly CSL Plasma Employee I've ever dealt with. She cares about the well being of her donors. Very kind and supportive.
Oriane, is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting while at CSL plasma. Not to mention Yola, Morgan, Matt(curly hair), Jasmin, Nilam, Jaid and so many others. Oriane always has a smile on her face and conducts herself very professionally. She really makes my donations pleasurable.??
I'm very happy I'm here today oriane is amazing and she is very good at her job amazing work oriane the fastest got the line down while others stand around !!
Oriane is amazing she was fast and accurate I was upset she talked to me and was very happy to help me nobody else came to help me and she was busy she has a way with people and it's awesome meeting her today she is the best upfront hands down .
I had a pleasant experience at CSL Plasma! I was nervous at first as I don't care for needles but Orion and Jaid were there to calm me. I would go back specifically because of these ladies :)
I really enjoyed my first time experience here. I came in on a Wednesday evening, and it wasn't too crowded. The staff is very friendly. They do an awesome job making sure everyone is safe. I got super light headed/nauseous twice during my donation, but the staff was right there ready to help. 10 out 10 would recommend.
Ori has good customer service and she is very professional. She is patient and I promise you anytime I come in there I only want her doing mine
Used to be awesome. Great staff, quick, and easy. That was when I started coming almost a year ago. Now most of the staff has quit because the pay was too low and now they are very short staffed and have extremely long wait times. Last few experiences have been scary, hours just for screening and another hour to be seated. One phlebotomist trying to treat 20+ donors and one tech doing screenings during the busiest time of day. The staff was great, they should have just taken care of them but because they
I first started coming here in November 2020 and have donated twice a week every week since. The staff here are very friendly, helpful, and answer any questions you may have about the process. I'm on a first name basis with most of them just because of how often I donated. However, as great as the actual staff are, the management here is downright atrocious. At the beginning of May they raised the payouts from $51 to $60, bringing in way more people than before. While this is exactly what they were hoping
Always have a great experience here! I been donating for almost 2 years. Jasmine is top notch. Always helpful and friendly. Keep it up!!
Third time is the charm. First time one of their workers pierced through my vein on my left arm. Second time was two weeks later. Told the worker hey my left arm might still not be recovered due to your worker injuring me. Worker said they couldn't feel my vein which was not true but sent me home after hours. Now I go in and my heart is high which is normal from the anxiety I have now with this place. And the person says I have 15 minutes not even five minutes later they tell me oh it was a mistake they put
If you want to receive the full benefits for the first month, make sure you go within the 30 days since signing up, otherwise you won't get the full amount. No one explained to me it had to be done within a month. I was told 8 visits. Went to 3 donations within the month and my 4th donation was past the 30 days since I started going and only received $40 and would only receive $40 for any other donations from there on out. $40 is just not worth it to me considering the time spent there so I will not be goin
This is in my opinion the best place to donate plasma that I've been going to. I've had unpleasant experiences at Bio Life and Immunotek. My favorite person in CSL is Nilam she makes everyone smile laugh and is the best. I highly recommend her and should give her a raise for the quality of service. Daniel Rifenburgh
Not so bad! Some staff can seem a bit grumpy but they're obviously stressed from all the donors they need to work with so I don't hold it against them. I have deep veins and it took a couple of them to get me unfortunately, but once they did I was good to go! Then I usually just chill and listen to music until I'm done and I get paid well to do so. What I will say is because they seem so understaffed, it may take a couple hours before you're done, but in my opinion it's very much worth it.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A PLASMA CENTER! i?ve been to a few plasma centers in my years. csl being 1 of them but this was my first time at csl in delaware. i?ve had about 3, okay, experiences here other then the extensive long lines with little to no employees but yesterday was the icing on the cake. I waited in line for 2 hours before I could be hooked up.. I finally get hooked up and notice my arm is swelling, i?m pumping extremely slow. usually it takes me 30 mins to complete my pump, 30 mins
Nilam has been Awsome and hilarious every time I've come here and how she handles not only with care but to put you at ease with laughter. I'm glad she is apart of this team!
I know this may sound odd, but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was super friendly. The entire process is so cool and I asked a ton of questions just because it was so interesting! I'm so glad I could give some healthy plasma. Very cool experience and I can't wait to do it again! It took about 3 hours. Who cares. It was fantastic and I'll be returning for sure.
The ladies, Tori, Ily, Amie, Jasmine and Ms.Nilam are great! They make the experience here comfortable and are very nice every time! I love it here????
This place is wonderful. The staff was very kind and friendly, some putting forth effort to put a smile on people's faces, especially a sweet lady there named Heaven. It was my first time going there, they asked me questions, gave me a small physical, explained everything quickly but in high detail. Due to all of that, and maybe a lack of staff, it took be about 2 and a half hours, but the actual plasma extraction went faster than I thought it would. Its a bit cold in there due to needing to keep everything
Very disrespectful staff one in particular an African American male. Yanks the tape off your arm risking injury from the needle. And mistreat Caucasian people I donated on May 19,2024. I have been donating for 2 years and the staff is getting worse
I usually have a great experience here but the last time I went in I found out that they haven't run a sample of my blood in 2 months. Since it was backlogged I am now not allowed to donate and have been deferred as of no fault of my own. I've been donating twice a week for 3 years and use it to supplement my income. Being deferred for at least 2 weeks, again not because of something I did but because of circumstances outside of my control, will take $100s out of my pocket. Update 1/1/2024 The pay rate ha
Under a new manager and it shows! He is very engaged and has conversations with all the donors! I was considering going to another CSL Center, but I think I'll stay and see what happens. Staff has improved and they actually seem to care! Much improved!!
So far I like it and I like most staff. The things I didn't like is how staff will sit around talking and there will be 12 empty seats with the machines. It's ok to have fun at work but to much fun causes laziness and distractions. And when someone stuck me they hurt me and bruised me bad and if I would have wanted to go back in 2 days I couldn't til the bruise was gone. It was their fault ??
I've been to a few different CSL locations and everytime am hesitant about them. This CSL had a long line, but that was okay because they moved through it quickly. After getting vitals checked I waited less than 5 minutes to go back. Rodrigo was great, easy finger-stick and switched my location easily. Nilam also stuck me amazing and made me laugh ??. I had a good experience. Saving lives and leaving with some extra cash ??
I wanna give Ariane a shoutout she is always the same no matter what she going thru she is fast and a pleasure. She is always smiling also she makes my day. Also I do get that dinner date.
This place needs to make up thier minds. I started donating august of 2022 and went a lot with no issues. Now just 2 weeks ago i donated and a couple of days after i gave my sample they tell me my protein levels were to low and now have to go threw this process of getting back to being able to donate again because they deferred me. I understand they are saying its for health and safety reasons But ive done nothing different since i started donating. I have the same diet i had when i started, eat the same f
Lines that can last two hours rude employees. Moved into the area this plasma donation is the worst.
I was in plasma today and oriane was amazing she calmed me down I was upset the process takes sometime and she is fast and very knowledgeable and she's about business she's is the best I've seen there so far and Bruce was amazing to he cool as a fan
Hi, this is Eric Forney. I am giving a five star rating. Ariane had great customer service and technical skills. My donation went as smooth as I had hoped. Thank you!
I'm so amazed how fast Oriane was she is always outdoing herself and so customer service knowledgeable I love coming there for her jasmine and Tyler there amazing .
Aimie, Jasmine, Tori, Iliana, and Nilam are a very good professional team of phlebotomy technicians. They work extremely well together and are very efficient. I've always had wonderful experiences donating plasma from their work.
Awesome energy, smells fresh, nice people, Met a nice young lady named Orion, full of energy and positive vibes, by the way she was super quick and straight forward with everything had me in and out of the clinic in less then an hour
I am always satisfied. With my donation preparation from enter to exit. I'm happy to helping those who need the plasma. As well as receiving my cash benefit after I do.
If this location has good phlebotomist that could stick me and I could get the donation done in 30-40 minutes once I was in the chair and stuck. I've had problems with them not able to stick me right and then I get bruised and deferred for a couple weeks. They've had problems with the machines too, that happened to me last night and the phlebotomist couldn't stick me right, so I didn't donate and now because they couldn't get my Red Blood Cells back to me I'm deferred for a couple months, almost until the
I'm a new donor and oriane was upfront and she explained the process and it was great meeting her and in the back jasmine not only beautiful she was fast and on point.
Great workers, very helpful. Always Willing to Listen and share a joke Here and there. Love Oriane simspon and Her kindness.I Always recomend Her.
Every time I come in I feel welcomed by everyone especially Tyler amazing worker great person, energy and very fun to talk too KEEP HIM!!!!
Long waits. Slow service. You wait in line for hours. Once a bed clears and is clean, they should allow you to sit even if you have to wait to get stuck. Plenty of older people that need to sit and it should just be courtesy to allow people to get off of their feet when there is a place available. Bad. Also white guy with the earrings does not change his gloves ??????
My name is william i had the pleasure of meeting Oriane she isnt up front handling the donors but answering the phones helping with any other donor issues she is a gem and i saw her in the back today but she is needed upfront but she still handled the crowd very well and in the back jazmine is the best to stick and beautiful sprit i love Csl .
I had the pleasure of being waited on my a lady name Oriane she was fast and very nice and just amazing her energy is amazing I come to see her along with other wonderful donors
I have been coming here for about 4 months. I have had Nilam do my draw/vitals several times and she has always been professional.
Went on Friday, I was there for 3hrs, and was told my veins may be too small. They only checked my arms for 10 secs max. When I had my physical done by their doctors, she found it in 5. For one, those techs should be verified phlebotomists, not trained workers from who knows where. Anyway, I was told to come back the next day. Returned Saturday just to be told I'm still checked in the system from the day before, they can't take me. Supposedly the only persons that could fix it is tech support, and they don'
It's really inconvenient that they are not open Saturday plus when I'm in there it takes forever to donate because while I'm in line it takes hours to even get checked in. Do better
I started going a year ago used to be really good in and out within an hour now it's 3-4 hours. Most of the staff quit and wasn't replaced. They are so under staff that they are starting to close early it's ridiculous the management is seriously lacking. They also could pull more Phlebotomists and nurses from others places for help but they do not.. BAD MANAGEMENT!! Definitely will be contacting corporate
A JOKE was my second time ever coming in and only got 35 dollars when they told me more I would not have even donated if I knew that. I feel tricked played out of my plasma !!!!!!!!!! Go to imuno tek! They care and give more money
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
