Absolutely love going to this center. The staff is helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and overall a joy to be around. James and Jade do a great job with their sticks which makes the process go smoother overall. I have even had the machines act up on me and they are quick to respond to the error and get my donation moving again. Great job CSL of Lacey, keep up the great work.
I had an awesome experience at CSL Plasma in Olympia! From start to finish, the staff made me feel welcomed and well cared for ? especially Angie, the nurse, who was incredibly kind and made me feel at ease right away. I appreciated the kind words about my hair for pride month, too (rainbow box braids) - thanks girl! ???? Shout-out to Megan, Dur-ae, and John also (hope I got everyone?s names right!) ? they were all super skilled, efficient, and kind throughout the process. ?????? My first visit went way f
Miguel and Kyle did a Pretty awesome job yesterday. Even though Jade and Paul didn't help me out while I was there? They kick ass as well! The CSL team in Olympia is pretty great!
Normally really like this place. The phlebotomists are top notch and friendly as they come. That said the nurse with the magnetic glasses has absolutely abysmal customer service skills. EDIT: (I wanted to leave something a little more constructive. I understand they often work with disgruntled deferrals, and that can be tiring, I know, I work in customer service and the public can be hard at times. but making guests wait for 30 minutes for a nurse to even be in the office while there are 4 guests waiting is
I've never had any complaints when donating at this location. It's always very clean and the staff is always incredibly kind and personable. Unlike at my last donation center in Texas, the process is almost always completely painless. Everyone here is great!
Had the best donation today. I'm sorry for the misspell. I tried, but Dr'eu??? (Just met him today) and James were exceptional. The young ladies checking in are very kind, too. I really like this location. My time was insanely good today, so I guess I found a new favorite time to donate ?? Sorry .. Keeping that one to myself. I recently moved here to be with my grandbaby and needed some extra money for gas and food. Thank you!!!!
I had a really disappointing experience at CSL Plasma. The wait times were ridiculously long. Even with an appointment, I was stuck there for over 3 hours. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, and I didn't feel like they cared much about the donors. The facility wasn't very clean either, which made me uncomfortable, especially in a place where health and safety should be a top priority. On top of that, the compensation was lower than advertised and delayed. Overall, I don't feel like my time or he
It is super friendly? dur-ae is on top of making sure everything is good and safe.. an ka-ao is super gentle with inserting and removing the needle .. can't forget about Kyle and his humor? My first time Jade scares me but she is super sweet . And Megan always has a smile
Miguel, Jade, and Kyle along with the flying Hawaiian Ke'o make the dream team there well, actually the whole team there I've fell in love with for over 3 years of coming here. Everyone's so friendly and the atmosphere is just amazing! Definitely recommend giving plasma here. If it wasn't for the staff I don't think I would continue donating plasma because I was actually afraid of needles and still have a hard time every now and then cause of my anxiety but I manage cause of the beautiful souls that work th
The staff is amazing but csl keeps dropping the pay. It use to be $70 or $65 a donation and over the course of a couple years it's dropped to $40 and $50. They also dropped the reward points and incentives. I've yet to see this $100 random donor reward happening each month and I regularly donate twice a week. I am thinking of switching to biolife for the pay outs here are much less now and there are no incentives anymore to donate consistently. Reward your donors more, stop taking money away. Without us, th
My experience with them has always begun with friendly knowledgeable staff. Destiny is one of the people there I like to see. She painless and talks through the whole process everytime and leaves you smile. Thanks Destiny.
Ill Start by saying I've only had an issue with one of the phlebotomist that either had a bad attitude or just didn't like me. Now that that's out of the way... CSL Olympia has provided me with a safe and clean environment, and knowledgeable staff. I've seen these ladies and gentlemen (phlebotomist's) adapt to new machines, deal with an influx of donors, and deal with the occasional difficult donor. All in which they show efficiency, good attitudes, and good intention above all. It feels good to go into th
The phlebotomists are all awesome and the staff is pretty friendly. Only issue is they move at a snails pace here, so unless you have plenty of time to spare, it's not really worth it.
I've been coming to csl for over 3 years definitely better then BioLife cause here at csl no appointment needed. But all the staff are very friendly and cool to talk too.
Clean facility, friendly staff, the process and quick and simple, and you don't need an appointment! Kyle and Jade are very nice and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is comfortable!
Miguel helped me today, he's always super nice and the stick never hurts. Jade and Kyle are also always great!
Great donation center, the staff are welcoming and very professional. Miguel, and Jade made my donation stress and worry free. I highly recommend CSL plasma.
This place is ridiculous! My partner went to donate today and was turned away because his temp was too low. They said it was 94? Ninety Four degrees!!!! Are you freaking kidding me?! At 94? his organs would be shutting down, he'd be facing death! He asked to have his temp retaken and they refused. They told him they don't retake temps. I get that but this is operator error or another malfunctioning piece of equipment. Anybody remotely considering themselves a medical professional should know 94? can't be a
Fleets a great experience here. Alot better then federal ways wait time. That's for sure. Edit. Today went in and newer manager wouldn't let me donate because I used a cuss word lol. Not twords them just out load and then proceeded to try and call the cops on my because her feelings were hurt cause I used a bad word lol. Do not come here go to bio life. Better pay and no wait times at all.
Everyone at this establishment have been very caring, understanding and just all around great people, big S/O to Miguel,Jade, and Kyle, and to the many others.
The staff are great and always friendly. Wish CSL paid a little more. $100 per donation would be nice.
Get here early because they are incredibly slow at getting people in if there's a lime. Bedside manner is also pretty bad but there are a few people who are good, it's just up to luck
This place is a joke I made a profile and went in after months did orientation and everything denied me for an old ear piercing I had and it was documented I just put the earring back in sent me on my way waist of an hour. Why don't they start with the ?s 1st so people don't waist their time .. smh .. dam junkies get more love then someone trying to get do something positive.
Each and every time I come in Kyle and Miguel do a great time with hooking and unhooking my arm very much recommend this csl in Lacey great stuff
Drove 30 mins to donate just to be ignored by the staff for 5 mins and ultimately told to go home because even though I was allowed to scheduled my appointment for 8am, they don't accept new donors until after noon. Super rude and condescending staff. Just go to BioLife, this place is awful
Friendly staff and great service. Jade Miguel and Kyle are an all people performance staff. Fast and efficient.
Been going on for a year now and here is the rundown about the place. It's actually wonderful! The staff are passionate with what they do and safety of the donors and staff is their priority. Even when I had a vein blowout they made sure I was taken care of throughout the process and followed up within the week after. They always welcome you with a smile no matter if you are in processing or on the donor floor. I get to tune out on my favorite tunes/podcast/book while I'm pumping away. I'll keep coming back
They went from providing... What, 50/65 dollars per visit? Now they have sunk to 45/50. I could be wrong, maybe it is lower than that. I don't go there anymore and I'm surprised they're not out of business yet.
Super nice staff! Miguel, Jade, and Kyle are very thorough and make my visit quick and painless
It's like they change the rules every time you go in depending on what kind of a mood they're in. I got a cat scratch a couple of weeks ago.Came in, they saw it documented it and let me donate today I also had a cat scratch but I wasn't allowed to donate because I had a cut on my arm.
Very nice and friendly staff. Makes donating easy and as enjoyable as possible. W plasma collection
A few weeks ago, I came in as a new donor. Everything went smoothly I watched the consent video but decided to leave after a few hours of waiting as it was getting late. Today, I come in with a clear schedule knowing that it would be a while. The first lady I spoke with at the counter told me that I needed to do more than I was instructed to last time. She also let me know it would be 3+ hours which I was expecting. Because I didn't need proof of address last time I didn't come with it this time. She then t
Great place. Miguel, Kyle and Jade made the whole process easy and comfortable.
Miguel, Jade, and Kyle are very friendly and professional. I wouldn't mind if the pay outs were consistent preferably back to what it was.
my friend and I decided to become plasma donors unfortunately in order to donate blood in this department you need to be an absolute American but even if you have an American passport like my friend you still won't be allowed because in the manager's opinion the fact that the government conducted an exam and issued a passport is an empty phrase for the manager she just looked and said that they don't have a translator to sign the documents... I don't have a passport and as I understand it it's also impossib
Jade, Miguel and James are excellent at there job, very helpful and understanding amazing staff.
Everyone who works here is both kind and profesional. DurA? is my favorite phlebotomist.
Very good people and professional I go there at least 2 to 3 times a month
Love the different staff personalities; always professional & able to keep it comfortable with a good sense of humor. Been going for 3 years now
Miguel, Du?Rae, Kaoi (I'm sorry if I misspelled your name), James. All of talk and everyone else there are freaking awesome!!!
The staff is awesome and respectful and they are fun to talk to jade Kyle Miguel
CSL Lacey is awesome! I've been a donor since they opened a couple of years ago, and really appreciate how friendly and welcoming everyone is each and every time I come in. I love that I don't need an appointment and can stop in at my convenience. That's a real game changer! I highly recommend CSL Lacey to anyone who is thinking about plasma donation! Thank you for always taking great care of me CSL!
I started donating in January. Ive been twice a week since. It's been a great experience every time. The employees are awesome, the facility is clean and no appointment needed. I check in on my phone and get through the process quickly.
I'd like to know how the Lacey Washington CSL Center can get away with Robbing their donors of $50 dollars in total for 2 donations... This should be a crime!!
Everyone here is so kind and friendly. James, Caty, all the people at reception taking vitals are so sweet. Miguel, Duray, Talia, and all the phlebotomists at this location are so professional. They always make it as enjoyable as possible. Always asking if I need anything. The first few times felt a little strange but that's to be expected. Make sure you eat protein and iron rich foods that are low in fat and drink lots of water and you'll be fine. The first time going through all the medical questions tak
Kyle and Miguel and jade are amazing! And Paul is the best
I been here three times and told no each time 1 st time no mail 2nd time two lbs under 108 vs 110 3rd time sollwn lymph nodes Told to go see my doctor Wasn't sick at all I have a habit of choking on food plus I was choked out less then a year ago Gave me grief about eating at 10 am vs sooner before coming in And made a fuss over me having a lump in my back for the past two years nothing life threatening I have wasted gas three times over them
My first time donating Plasma was here today, and I was so anxious (I am afraid of needles). After reading the reviews (the good and the bad) and actually going in, I am very surprised at the negative reviews. The Staff were very comforting and knowledgeable, and the only discomfort I had was just the process itself (again, I have issues with needles and things involving veins). Most of it was probably just me making it worse in my head. They were gentle and understanding. The Screening process was reasonab
First time here. I passed the questionnaires and the physical. However, when the nurse asked me to get up onto the table, I couldn't. I have bone-on-bone in my right hip, so I'm unable to lift my right leg very high. This inhibits my ability to climb stairs or get up onto a table higher than my hips without an accomidation. I asked for a step stool, but the nurse flat out said no. So I was banned from donating. So, lesson from my personal experience: don't expect to be able to donate if you're disabled or
Initial setup was quick and easy. Donating process was efficient and quick. Staff was very friendly and helpful
They wasted my time. Not once but twice. They once told me I could come in and it would allow me to do their physical again since it was just my lymph nodes that were swollen. I get in there and they say no that that's not how it's supposed to go. I come back to get a release form so I can go to a doctor's office and get cleared and they're like. Oh no we'll handle you. We got a different nurse in today. I wait around there for freaking ever just to be told that no they can't do that and then they give me t
Giving blood or plasma can be nerve wracking, but they make the process an awesome experiance. Every person I've met is kind and generally a joy to be around and going there has been a part of my week that I kind of look forward to, which is kind of weird considering I'm getting poked by a needle, but that should proved just how awesome they make the experiance.
All the employees here are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Every time I donate, it's a great experience. I have even referred family and friends to donate as well.
This location is lucky to get two stars. As of today I will no longer return to this location As I was forced to Restart my check in Process It's still won't let me as i'm already checked in according to the system Nobody won't help me. As the system tell me i'm already checked in According to the vital desk , my questions were still not in the system And beg me to restart the checking process. You got me mess up. For now, on knowing I live in Olympia. It'll be worth my travel to Kent location. Is where my tr
This place sucks the staff dont know how to poke you properly, they don't pay you very much, and the staff are rude as hell. Your better off going to bio life you get paid more and you probably get better customer service. DO NOT DONATE HERE!!!!
First of all, three stars is rude! This place cares about you as an individual. They are all great! No one is perfect and s@it happens but they will always make it right! Destiney, Miguel, Michelle, Madison and many others I have not named. Thank you guys for caring for me and I know many others feel the same way about CSL!
I get turned away to the nurse almost every time i come here because my inner arm is pinkish and my veins are dark so they think its always a "bruise". The manager megan was absolutely terrible and was treating my boyfriend with so much attitude and just plain rude when he asked why i was sent to the nurse. Then proceeded to tell him the last time i was turned away was in october which is not true so they arent logging their stuff properly because it would show their pattern of sending me to the nurse and n
This wasn't an enjoyable experience for me and I think it could have been. I would wait until BioLife has a spot open because I don't think some of the staff here know what they're doing. This was my first time. The check in process was great and I made sure to drink tons of water the day before and day of. The lady doing my donation was very kind, but not long after starting I felt the weakest I have ever felt. Everyone?s voices were muffled, the lights were blending together, I could hear what people were
Made my first time donor experience a great one. Staff was super friendly. They tend to hyper focus on one person so wait time can feel long. I felt safe and very informed. Also the pay out system is a fair amount and they are very upfront with how it works. Be sure to eat and drink water before donating or you could throw up.
I went here for my first time ever donating. They were very organized and seemed like they know exactly what they are doing and are checking all the boxes. I was a little nervous because I don't like going to places where I don't know what to expect. Each person told me what to expect next in the process, and even exactly what to do when I come back next time (since it will be different). They asked if I had questions often, which I didn't, since their explanations were thorough. A nurse was in training wh
My husband has gone here five times with the first two donations being successful! Unfortunately the last 3 the phlebotomist wasn't able to get a good placement on his veins. He was talked to before his last donation by the manager and she said she would clear the system and he would be good to donate & he went to try and donate and was told to come back and try again on his right arm two days later without consuming caffeine & the manager said her boss but a note for a rest vein referral and unfortunately
I was turned away because apparently dozing off while laying back in a chair is equivalent to appearing under the influence. If that was the case why did you even go through with the donation in the first place. I am clearly wide awake and not under the influence today. But whatever. I was really counting on getting another donation under my belt.. not sure what to do now
Been coming to this center since they opened only one I will go to
Terrible. They share a wall with other buildings, the fire alarm is always going off causing long deferrals. They will also promise you an "inconvenience fee" then not deliver. They are rude and more concerned with how the fire alarm makes more work for them than the donors who lose the chance to donate because of it. Well, less work for them.
Great customer service and support Miguel & Jade
The $100 was worth my time, then drops to $50 after not worth it any more. Good while it lasted. My only complaint. Otherwise I'd keep donating
The only thing nice is not having to make an apt. A lot of times u come in and the staff standing around talking making it take way longer than it should. Some of the staff is super nice, some are not/don't seem to know what they are doing either. Send to to the nurse when there are notes already in your account, waisting even more time. I would recommend BioLife, they pay more, u have to make apts but atleast they know what they are doing.
Bring your social security card since they probably won't be able to find you in their system. Didn't get to donate because I didn't have the card or a w2 on me. *new donors.
Wonderful experience!! I hadn't donated in a few years, and my experience with our other local plasma center was extremely stressful. The staff here are incredibly kind & helpful. The ladies on the donation floor were lovely, and had friendly banter with each other & return clients, which made the atmosphere much more pleasant than other donation centers I've been to. Thank you all!
Worse service ever today. After waiting close to 2hrs and still hadn't been hooked up yet. I had to go. Normally there is a wait but never have I been put in a chair/bed and not get hooked up with/in 5-10 min. Was not busy at all. Though staffed, one was setting up machines one was hooking up clients one was disconnecting clients. 3were doing who knows what.
They were nice but your not allowed to donate if you are camping or in-between housing, literally camping with a home and got told no because you have to be living inside 5 days a week to be allowed to donate so heads up people
Highly discriminatory company. They refuse to let me donate because I have pink skin tones in certain areas. Their medical staff also lied on my charts and their word is apparently set it stone and no secondary verification is required. So they get to lie all they want with zero accountability. Just a terrible place to donate altogether. Racists, especially Olivia.
Excellent staff. I have never had a bad experience, been donating here for around 2 years.
First few visits were fine. However on my most recent one, today guys name started with a H poked the needle through my vein causing a hematoma. Before he poked me he was joking about how tired he was, and rubbing his eyes. During the donation I knew something was wrong and it took awhile to get their attention. My arm is purple and black. Go somewhere else if you want to donate plasma
I had a phenomenal experience, Destiny is the best, she made sure I was comfortable during the entire process.
06/10/2023- AVOID or Call this place before you go!!! (My first time EVER going to donate plasma) Everything went good until the weighting part. I was told i was to heavy at that point. No where on their website said max weight was 400lbs. Just what the minimum weight of a 110lbs. The only place it said the max weight was on a peice of paper after ? got checked inand it was small print so it was hard to see.
So I just left the CSL in Olympia. Apparently, having a blister on your finger requires a nurse visit. I'm a concrete finisher, I'm going to have cuts, knicks, blisters and an occasional smashed fingernail.. the only thing that makes this a viable option for me is time. I gave you 4 hours during intake, each trip after that consisting of approximately 45 minutes. That's it, that's all I'm willing to give up for the money I make. If you're worried about drug users, I'm donating at the wrong place. And if
AVOID THIS PLACE ! I went for my first time to donate plasma. I let them know SEVERAL times I'm allergic to Latex. This was ignored and I was exposed to latex on my arm after my donation was incorrectly ended early . I didn't have my blood returned and I didn't have an IV afterwords just a Gatorade and a ?I'm sorry?. When I talked to the manager Miguel he could have cared less that they KNOWINGLY exposed me to my latex allergy. My confidence in donating anywhere ever again is shot. And now because of their
This specific CSL Plasma location has shown odious standards of customer service time and time again. The execrable treatment of DONORS here is abhorrently contemptible. Staff show total disregard for the comfort of donors, the blatant, reprehensible levels of disrespect and lack of control over individuals own emotions i.e. how they respond emotionally, is appalling and repugnant. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. They will play favorites, and expect you to adhere to their schedules with distasteful disregard
I would not recommend this company to anyone, the nurses here are the only consistently kind staff, management has always been rude or distant when speaking to me, screeners are all rude and act like they hate their jobs and thst its my fault, except for one, girl I had on Friday was amazingly sweet. Nobody moves with urgency, there could be 20 people in line and they all still move at a snails pace. It is quite a sad setup
The staff was super friendly and patient even when I passed out in the chair. Got lots of money and will be going back soon.
Another hardworking person with great plasma turned away for blisters on my hands, which makes returning a super hassle, especially with the lousy pay schedule. It should be 2 visits in a 7 day period. Period. These places went down hill. They pay less during inflation. Lame.
I love donating at csl plasma!! The. Employees are so friendly and you can feel that they really enjoy their jobs! Have had many grata experiences and the one time I didn't feel well they took the time and patience to help me understand what was happening and helped me stay calm while taking care of me.
Made my husband stop going here and find somewhere else. He came home multiple times with a huge bulging painful lump under his skin at the needle site and hematomas. Staff has absolutely no idea what they're doing. And take forever to even do anything so they should be getting it done right.
I've gone here a couple times but the last visit with my girlfriend has given her a hematoma by one of their phlebotomists complaining about "just waking up" and "being tired". I find it very unprofessional and hope everyone who reads this thinks twice about coming here.
Having worked for a plasma center for 5 years I can say that I always spend an abnormal amount of time trying to donate here. There is usually only 1 or 2 dcts working and even then very chatty or they take forever to transition between tasks and finish the screening. The phlebs are fine. Also, none of them change their gloves in between donors unless they have visible blood on the gloves? which is disgusting. If you request a glove change they get annoyed. Funny how they don't care about this but the secon
Customer service horrible. They made me watch a video and read papers which all took 35 minutes just to tell me I couldn't donate blood. Too bad they don't have name tags on the uniform. The people working there are just sad.
Great atmosphere! Friendly and kind staff! Bonuses awarded every now and then. I make $640-$720 a month donating 8-9 times a month. Nice bit of extra income.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
