Tiffany in vitals checkpoint is absolutely amazing, I was having a repeat problem with my pulse being to high ( mainly due to anxiety ) she took on the role and helped me figure out a way to be able to donate. Everytime I go in I look for her if I don't see her chances are I'm going to walk back out. She's so caring and compassionate about everyone. Hands down one of the best crews I've seen. Keep up the good work everyone ??
Clean, professional, efficient. Okk now I have a few people to mention in this review. 1st is the lady who does the blood screening upfront after you sign in. I think her name is Medina (could be wrong). She's extra bubbly & personable. Next all the phlebotomist that have worked with me have been knowledgeable, patient and informative. Tiffany I think is the lead. She's amazing. My blood is slow moving since I have low blood pressure & I'm the problem child unfortunately but they put up with me ??. Zoe is a
Walked in. Was told 5 people ahead of us, would be about 3 hours ?total? from walk in to walk out. After waiting 3 hours the 5 people ahead of us had all gone back. Some guy walked by and said thank you for your patience we are short staffed and slammed today. At this point we are the only 2 left in the waiting area. After another 30 minutes just left, would have been another couple hours with exam and the actual donation process. If they had said like 5+ hours in the beginning would have just left. Very fr
I would like to start by recognizing Molly, an exceptional employee at CSL Plasma. She is professional, knowledgeable, and consistently goes above and beyond?truly deserving of a promotion. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and the entire staff is friendly, efficient, and dedicated to providing excellent service. Thank you to the CSL Plasma team for your hard work and commitment to making each visit a positive experience. Highly recommend this location!
ive had a great experience with everyone at the place but one dont feel comfortable with megan she tells me not worry nd and to let her continue to stick then when i asked for a manager she tells me no nd to not worry ive had two bad experiences with her feel like and very uncomfortable experience she very touchy nd doesnt like no abd doesnt follow procedure
This place is so unorganized that they had people skipping the 2nd donors VIP line. Why give a new donor a chance to go next in line and then have 4 others go in front of you. Even the lady in front that got pulled from a nurse and announced I would go after her and then we both get skipped? That's ridiculous and discourages donors . The one lady was so rude and defensive. When I mentioned it to the lady that told me, she then pointed at some one else and said she's in charge. So what does this mean, this p
It's been a while since I last donated and I must say my first visit back was smooth and I was in and out. I was greeted by Mya who checked me in. Then Megan called me back and she updated my account quickly and precisely. She was so kind and professional the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I asked. Jasmine was standing behind her watching her and observing the entire interaction. They were both so positive and funny. They made the time go by so quick. After th
Awesome People Take good care of you. Only been there once but it's great after one visit
Amazing experience. Transfer patient from Longwood. Smooth transition over to Orange city location. Medina is the heart of this place. She was so helpful to me and I saw how well she was helping her colleagues. She is a true born leader and I loved watching and listening to how well she does with staff and patients. Thank you CSL for the great experience. **Update: I will keep the star 5 for Medina, however, second visit with Megan was an absolute disappointment. Answered a question wrong and was flagged t
Top notch staff!!! I donated for the first time 7/19/2024 early in the morning, i passed out during donation and after, it was my fault for not eating but the staff was amazing , they took very good care of me while we waited for the ambulance. I would like to thank the whole staff!!! I appreciate all of you and it was nice of you guys calling me back to make sure I was ok.
They are fast and the place is clean and the people are friendly.
Had amazing experience there today the staff was extraordinarily friendly I'm very helpful!!!
I really like this place my only problem is the same person keeps failng me on the pre-screen I watched her send somebody who look just like me out the door the same day she failed me the first time. However when I went to another center I passed. The only time I ever fail at this place is when I see this woman and if she fails me again I know she has a problem and I'm filing a complaint against her alone other than her this place is great highly recommended.
a company that discriminates against people. not providing equal conditions for people. wasted fuel, time and sent us home, citing insufficient knowledge of the language. cannot provide a translator, relatives cannot translate, you can not use Google Translate. where is this written? this is complete discrimination! I wrote on your website, you can write to me by email. Since you don't have a translator, we won't be able to talk on the phone.
Horrible customer service. Everyone looks and behaves unprofessionally . Very long waiting for vital and the staff for donate OMG they no have good of take care of you. They talk to each other about donors on their faces. Again cero professionalism there! I will not recommend this place!
Thank you, Mya, Megan, and Dr.Sean for showing compassion and patience during my visit. The three of you are very easy to talk to. Explained everything beautifully. Thank you for making me want to return to blood donation.
Been donating here for well over 2 years but every since the new year the quality of service has gone down. They constantly tell me to take my prescription glasses off even when I've been wearing them for over a year and gave them a doctors note when I first came in with them. I can overhear staff members at the front desk talking bad about other donors who have trouble donating. My heart rate was high a few times and now one worker constantly ask my why it's always so high and to "relax" sarcastically, as
Was rejected my second visit for small sores on my arms that were approved my first visit. Came back on the ?third? visit after doing what they had instructed and was rejected again. I had LIQUID bandaid on my arms and was told I had makeup and now can never return. Never in my life have I had someone tell me I have makeup on to cover something when I know it was just liquid bandaid. Clearly the medical screening area needs to get on the same page as it was allowed one day and not three days later. I added
@PeterGriffin, I was there around that same period and also had the same experience. Before that, it was approximately 1hr 15mins. The machines changed and granted, the staff was learning the new system, (the staff was frustrated, and the iT for the new machines was still there to help, but it was a little over 3 hours, and both arms with the machine constantly going off. The staff was great but it was exhausting for me, but I am glad to know that I wasn't the only one who ran into the new machines.
had an issue that my fianc?e wanted to donate plasma and she was denied because she doesnt know english?this place is horrible with new comers
Everyone is so kind and helpful. If you have anxiety about going, it's fine. They are set up to help new doners feel comfortable. It's important to tell them if you are new and never donated before. They will answer your questions, etc.
Referral bonus never worked. I asked CSL employees a few times to help and they said I did everything correct but I never got the referral bonus. Support said to contact Manager but I can never get a hold of them when I ask. Don't bother referring someone for the bonus.
The staff are ALL great. HOWEVER, just plan to be here at least 2 hours. Idk if they're understaffed, their flow is trash, or whatevah. They are sloowwwww and you have to stand up while you wait. Unreal.
Was trying to donate plasma at this facility and they discriminate me because I'm Hispanic the person at the front counter Was not so professional. Also I went and ask them last week what requirements I need and they told me I could go and also gave me the procedure instructions to follow I do understand English but she said that she couldn't help me. This place is completely like the life Hispanic are living this days racist.
Please improve. Been coming for about a year. You used to be able to donate in a reasonable amount of time. Today I have been here for over an hour, and I'm still in line waiting on going to the donor floor. Please do better, hire more staff. It's becoming not worth it to donate when you have to waste 2+ hours out of your day to donate as a return client.
I would not recommend coming here they have non licenses people which should be phlebotomist...taking your blood then they give u huge black and blues and refer you for 2 weeks and ur not able to finish ur 31 days that's how they get to not pay u what u deserve and not able to get ur full 100 compensation. I have never brushed yet even corporate said they can't do anything even if it's not my fault..... Sad!
Good place to donate. I keep getting Kim and she's attentive to her job. The could use chairs tho since the lines get so long
I arrived at 10:30am-ish, registered, donated, out by 2pm. Jennifer, the 4?9? employee, was very kind and soft-spoken. CLEAN facility.
Staff cool , clean place just make sure you ask what you getting paid that day cuz it says 5 times for 90ish but it's for the same month if you the next month automatically prices shoots down to half $47 ? kinda sucks ! They should let first 5 before for as long as it takes you to do the five ? they get paid extremely well for that plasma they are only paying us like 1-2% of what they make off it
I have been going to CSL IN ORANGE CITY for approximately a year and I must say every staff member is great and I have only had good experiences with every staff member and there all hard workers that aim to make people happy...thank you to all staff...
Went to donate at CSL yesterday as I was going through the line I watched as none of the people taking your Vital Signs wiped off any of the blood pressure cuff when it came to me I asked her politely do you mind wiping off the blood pressure cuff she admitted they do not wipe These Cuffs down after each person usage mind you I've already caught fungus on my arm from CSL last year I asked them to please wipe off blood pressure cuffs apparently they're still not listening a year later this is unsanitary it i
Wow I love donating plasma, friendly staff. Experienced phlebotomists. Plus it's good for your cholesterol and saves lives. Can't imagine a better experience. Extra money helps with bills, gas, groceries, vacations. donating is so cool.
The staff was friendly and made sure I knew what to expect every step of the way. The nurse was respectful when checking me over to make sure I was a candidate. The place was clean and the ladies in the back that set you up are quick and efficient. Very happy with my first experience.
Every single time I have been here they have kept me standing in line for vitals and a bed while most of the staff are having personal conversations and glancing at all of us in line and doing nothing despite there being several empty booths and beds. It's absolutely not worth spending several hours in lines, getting aggressively and painfully poked, for 50 to 60 bucks! Theirs much better places to go and they pay more!
it was super clean, the staff was very friendly and always checked on you to make sure you're comfortable. It was super busy when I went and they still got everyone taken care of in a timely manner. And Thank you to Quincy cause people normally have problems getting my veins but this guy could've did it with his eyes closed. My experience was great in here.
I actually really liked it when I went. It was super clean, the staff was very friendly and always checked on you to make sure you're comfortable. It was super busy when I went and they still got everyone taken care of in a timely manner. And props to Jennifer cause people normally have issues getting my veins but this girl could've did it with her eyes closed. My experience was great in here. But definitely bring a sweater or blanket cause its freezing!
It was super busy when I went and they still got everyone taken care of in a timely manner. I've been to this location before but stop coming and decided to come back because the staff are very helpful & knowledgeable. They explain everything from start to finish. They make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for the services that they do here.
Phenomenal staff! Had a complication on my first visit but they treated me wonderfully! They will take really good care of you! Update: it's been about a month or two of me donating and everything is still as phenomenal as the first day. Krystal, Jennifer and Jody are absolute stars. ?? Thank you CSL
I would caution because they don't sanitize their blood pressure cuffs and also heard others saying the same thing that they don't clean their cuffs. Very unsafe and unhygienic.
Terrible! Constant waiting, long lines, understaffed shifts and terrible donation turn around time due to the lack of employees. Avoid this place if you don't have an extra 2-3 hours to wait everytime you donate. Why this plasma company hasn't moved to an appointment system like other centers for the sake of their donors and employees is way beyond me.
They are often very busy, but the staff is very friendly and efficient. Mya was very helpful and kind when I had an issue with my payment. She and other staff are very professional. I recommend this location because of the great staff.
The whole experience was positive. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The other clients were polite and easy to talk to. Whenever I need blood drawn, it usually takes a couple try?s. She got it the first time and no bruising. Very satisfied.
Clean facility with personable staff at this location. I haven't had any problems during any of my visits, and the hours are convenient. Staff take extra time with first time donors and explain everything, which was very helpful on my initial visit. Time of day will impact your waiting time so I recommend you go early.
Everyone was super friendly and helped me ease my fears. The first visit ended up being like 2 hours extra then what I was told but they were busy. They handled everyone very professionally and with great manners. Definitely will be going back!
The staff was very thorough and kind. The process was easy and went exactly as it was explained. I did have a very common and very minor complication, and when I went back to have it checked out the medical staff went above and beyond to help. Very pleased. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because it took almost twice as long for the intake process as they told me to expect.
I recently went to donate for the first time. I did a lot of reading to become familiar with the process before hand. Be prepared to be there for at least 3 hours the first time you donate. You'll need your SS#, ID and proof of residence. I went on a day that wasn't busy. The staff was super friendly from beginning to end. The process is organized. The doctor that performed the ?physical? was also very nice and respectful. The office was very clean. The nurses that prepare you for the donation also very fri
Wonderful staff, always clean environment, great sticks from well trained staff. Tell em I sent ya with BALSQ7P9RM and happy donating.
It was my first time doing plasma and I was kinda nervous but all the employees make you feel super comfortable and they are all super nice. Which made the experience easygoing. I will definitely refer a friend. My experience was fast while I was donating they checked up on me often and I really liked that about everyone there. This place deserves a 10 star rating.
Aside from how sweet, welcoming, funny and kind everyone at the center is, the professionalism is outstanding. I had a difficult experience my first time donating and the employees knew exactly how to handle the situation, how to get me to feel better and make sure I was comfortable. I left happier than I came in despite complications and I'm going back the next chance I get!
Be very careful. I had no problems for over a year. Now they've hired all these new people and both my arms hurt. Worst place that go to here in orange city. Then they make you wait when they make a mistake. They have more people standing around up front then working. Never again.
Half of the workers stand around talking about whatever while 10-30 ppl stand waiting for them to do there job . Very slow wasting everybody's time . Year later 2 people checking in at 3pm on a wed WTH SSDD nobody wants do there JOB
The first time donor process was smooth and explained step by step, expect to be there 2 to 3 hours the first time, which they tell you beforehand. I was able to ask questions at every station and felt great about my donation. They give you snacks and water the first time, which comes in handy with the wait. The process was overall smooth and effective. One thing I would ask to be improved and or changed is to add an app with the ability to schedule appointments to be able to staff correctly.
Instead of training phlebotomists properly they just defer you. Employees are overworked and understaffed, no surprise there's almost a complete staff change in less than a year and more of them are trying to leave or plan on leaving already. People who blatantly ignore duties and disappear multiple times over the course of 45 minutes leaving everyone else to pick up their slack. Pretty embarassing when youre overhearing people in line talk about who NOT to let stick them over multiple visits, or in other
This was my first time donating plasma ever. I felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The intake process took a bit longer than I was told but they were very busy the day I went. Overall I was pleased with the process, especially learning how great the need is. I will definitely become a regular donor at this location and I will most definitely bring a blanket with me.
This place use to be great . However since they got new machines every thing takes twice as long . Hopefully they hire more tech so all the machines can run .
Was a really great experience! If you want to help with there's and make some extra money you should go. A state of the art facility with smiley, friendly and welcoming staff!! Loved it, yes the first time is a bit long but well worth it!
As a first time donor I was really nervous. At first I felt a little overwhelmed by the whole process but as I proceeded through each step the staff was very helpful which made me feel better about the experience. Staff was very thorough with explaining all of the donor process. They only difficulty I had was due to myself not being hydrated enough which made the actual donation a little longer. Overall I was satisfied with the experience and will donate again in the future. This is a great way to help oth
I am a first time donor and came in on one of the busiest days of the year. However the staff made experience enjoyable and we even had some good laughs! The nurse in the health check up room as well as Amy in the Donation room were so friendly, helpful and fun!
I just donated plasma for the first time. It was a great experience. The staff is so nice and thoughtful. The staff explained every step of the process in detail. Very friendly and thorough. I felt that Brian who did my physical exam was very respectful and professional! Amy in the back was amazing and soothed my fears about the actual donation process. She stood with me for the first few minutes and continued to check on me all the way through. I will def be going back!
I've been coming to csl for quiet some time from Tampa to orange city when I moved. And the reception and vitals are probably the slowest and worst I've seen, truthfully they see a line and worry more about talking to one another or having irrelevant conversations. Mya everytime I see her always finds ways to leave the front. The phlebotomy is great but reception is truly the laggiest ever .
I had a very smooth and painless experience for my first donation. I expected it to be a bad experience, so I was pleasantly surprised. The staff really is as informative and friendly as all the reviews on here said, which was another surprise because I thought they were fake reviews. Never happier to be wrong. The staff really was awesome. I'm going to go back for sure!
The staff was overly polite, there was a misunderstanding and I went home the first time trying to donate. But with the staff still be veing very polite and proactive they had me approved by the next day and fast tracked me threw to donate which was painless thanks to there great staff. Not a bad job at this location, thorough and polite.(remember you have to be patient and expect a long wait before you go to not have a bad experience the first time ??)
Front desk staff are very lazy & unprofessional. Staff who stick and take the plasma do their job well & efficient. If you can make it past the front of the house then you should be satisfied with your visit. Only other negative would be they do not discuss compensation over the phone which i feel works against them in regards to a person not wanting to spend the time and money to be let down with the compensation amount. Honesty up front is key, especially if business only strives off constant new donors.
Went to CSL this past week for the first time. All of the staff were super professional and nice. I appreciated their patience and guidance through the process which is a long one!! Other than how long the process takes I had a great experience . I would highly recommend for others to check out and use CSL plasma.
Made Me Waste My Time ... If you Had Breast Cancer In the Last Five years? you Can't Donate!! ..You would think they Would of tell you from the Get.. ???? Very Unprofessional !!!!!!
If I could give zero Stars I absolutely would it's not even worth one. A DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE PRESCRIBED SUBOXONE!!!! I initially called and asked if being on Suboxone would disqualify me and they told me I had to come in and find out so I came all the way from DeLand waited two and a half hours to do my intake process told numerous staff during my intake process that I was prescribed Suboxone and nobody gave me any issues I told at least three staff members. And all three continued to let me go to t
This CSL plasma location is amazing. I started as a new donor a few days ago and I will be coming back! I really thought the registration process was going to take FOREVER! Thankfully it was easy, peasy and painless! As a first time new donor, you get the front of the line experience! The workers here very nice and take pride in what they do because it shows. I was nervous of the needle part but the guy who did mine was AMAZING (wish I remembered his name). I can't really leave a bad review even if I tried
As a long time blood donor, but first time plasma donor, my experience at CSL couldn't have gone any better. The staff was warm, welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable. They explained every step of the way in detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I will absolutely be donating again with CSL
I give it one star for 2 reasons. #1 I have been donating 2 times a week for the past 3 months and I got there 4 minutes after 3 and they wouldn't open the doors! I mean come on, this money really helps and you can't let some one in 4 min. After??? BS #2 there is a worker in there who is on the floor sticking needles in people, her name is Sonni, Sony, whatever. Nice girl, but she's got no clue what she's doing, I've never had problems other than the 2 times I've had her. Just last Thursday she blew the vei
This CSL plasma center that I have been going to is the best CSL plasma center that I've been to I am patient with a long lines I love the employees that are there they really take care of people who walk through that door. From the new donors to the normal donors they treat everyone with respect I'm coming from New Jersey and I never received such well-mannered individuals.
This location is on point! The customer service here is exceptional & everyone is eager to help. From the mangers to the associates everyone works together to make this a harmonious environment. Keep up the great work. Thanks for impacting the community in a great way.
If I can give them a "0" I would. I went in because I needed some fast cash I asked staff numerous times to make sure I'm a new donor. Every single one said I was fine donating today. I get done and I only have 20 bucks on my card. I had Bill's that needed to be paid so I went to the front desk and ask what was up. They said I was one day away from my six months i leave the center. They call me back 5 min later and say I will be reimbursed what I am owed. 4 hours go past and i call them back and now the ce
I had a great first time experience. The staff was very helpful, professional, and knowledgable. Everyone had a smile on thier face, which is a nice change. The wait wasn't too bad. I will definelty be going back.
Wasn't that bad of a place. The staff is very friendly and personable. It took me roughly 3 hours as a first time donor but it was way better than Biomat Deland where I went in at 8 am and wasn't going to be seen until 2 pm. They like to walk things through with you and are constantly asking if things are okay.
All in all, front new donor process needs to be inspected and kinks worked out. Vitals, physical, and donation staff, great job: I'm not going fully discredit CSL Plasma because it was my first time donating plasma and I'm hoping my next experience is much smoother. I understand that they were short staffed so it is understandable that things didn't run very smoothly, however, there didn't seem to be a contingency plan in place. As a new donor I knew it would take a couple hours my first time, but I wasn't
I'm giving them 1 star for todays visit. After I was done with my donation there was a csl member taking a donor off the machine because he was done. He clean the station for that donor then came to my station to work on me with out changing his glove. I had to remind him to change his glove he apologized but the point is if I hadn't spoke up he would?ve continued with out changing his gloves which I think is very dangerous.
Staff was awesome. As much as I hate needles they were very understanding and they made sure I had a really good phlebotomy. Which she was awesome. I would definitely go back
Updated.I have been coming here for a year and i feel it has been rolling down hill. The wait time is horrible. You have 10 people in line and there having social our instead of working. One is sitting when she could be helping. I been here almost two hours standing. I don't need the money either, I do this to help people bit to make this process long just because the staff would like to chat more than doing their jobs and the supervisor is not on floor is disappointing. This is my last time using csl. Cls
Had a really bad experience in this center where I felt discriminated just because languages barrier. Since a i did not speak English they did not took me. And they simplest said this is not a Spanish speaking center and don't take Spanish speaking? like what? Are you serious in this country that does not have a legal language because is made out of us immigrants. So Discriminative and racist place!!!!
The staff and professionalism isn't the problem. They seem nice and not entirely moronic, but how analysis they are with some of the stupidest things. I got my passport a few years back which was one of the harder things to acquire in terms of proving your identity. This place had issues with things even I didn't have issues with while even getting the passport. Ive provided more than enough paperwork to show who I am. Pretty much the result of being honest, two days wasted in their facility and like 6 trip
Under staffed like every where. I feel so sorry for the workers. They deserve a raise. They need chairs while waiting to get on floor. Standing for an hour or more. Management Hello. That's why the 3 stars!!!
The experience was different than I would imagine Very easy simple and relaxed once I got to the back Staff was very friendly even though I came in almost at closing they still took care of me and my brother will definitely recommend and will definitely come back!! Saving lives one step at a time
August 18th was my 1st time to ever donate and I was a little nervous but everyone was so kind and helped through all the steps and it made the entire process so much easier. Glad I made the decision to go and donate!!! Would recommend them to anyone.
Ok, update, seems the staff is getting better with the new machines. The total time has been much less the last couple donations. Thanks CSL.
Great experience!! Everybody was very polite and answered all of my many questions. I had anxiety about the process before hands but any worries were calm. And the process went very smoothly.
easy money. need to pay that car payt, get groceries for the kiddos, or save up for that cruise? perfect for that. An hour of time and u get pd and get to help others.
Very happy with my visit. Everybody was kind and courteous. My visit went as quickly as possible and very smoothly. I'd definitely recommend this facility to anybody looking to donate.
As a first time plasma donor, I was very surprised at how smooth the process was! Everyone was very welcoming and several were very silly. It really helped lighten the mood and made the experience just that much better. I will be returning to this location on my next day off! Thank you for helping me help others!!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
