I am a new donor that had a very good experience thanks to the phlebotomist Elaine L. She explained the process to include gave good pointers on what to expect with the device and how to be successful with my donation. She picked up that I was nervous and did her best to make me feel comfortable. I almost didn't feel the needle stick. During my time donating I observed Elaine be very attentive to other donors and quickly trying to respond to lights even going quickly to the other side of the room as quick
This place is bad and just isn't showing signs of getting better. Poorly staffed, poorly managed, long wait times even when not busy, bad pay etc. It just isn't improving at all despite the constant negative criticism
They had me waiting for 2 hours to simply be screened. I watched 4 people who didn't have appointments, who got here after me, go through the whole process and finish getting blood drawn before I even got screened.
Go anywhere els. CSL Plasma employees are always looking for reasons to defer you. Ive donated over 10 times at Olgam Life without any problems. As soon as I switched to CSL, I started getting low and high blood pressure readings as well as a 4% day-to-day difference in my red blood cell count. Olgam Life pays new clients $15 bucks more per week and they don't blame their clients for staff mistakes. CSL is not a pleasant place.
This place gets worse day by day. I went in for a protein sample . I sat there waiting for a long time before the short black woman rude supervisor came to me. Then Walked away. I sat there once again waiting. When she finally came back tried to the sample from me which I never had an issue with . Hurting my are my arm moving the needle around because there were no blood coming out . Then she suggested switching arm , I agreed to it . Got to the other arm something was happening, she clearly didn't know
Wasted an hour trying to be a new client. It would be understandable if there were others waiting and being helped but there weren't. One woman tried to be helpful so i could get started with the video and they didn't let her. This place isn't being managed.
I've come here several times with no issue donating and have dealt with the negatives as a cost of doing ?business ?. The staff are always complaining, trying to come up with jokes after it's obvious what they are doing. Not being adequately trained, they are causing injuries. They lowered prices. Just go somewhere else. No concern is taken seriously, just look at the replies on all the other reviews. Education/training is a serious issue, code of conduct is definitely right under it
This place is crazy I went to donate June 7 2025 waited a long time finally got to donate after I finished donating waited again after I got in the car get ready to pull out the parking lot my payment wasn't there still...I spoke to management and she said a ticket will be put out now it June 9 2025 I spent an hour there and still no payment nobody knows nothing all they said was I'll put another ticket out for your payment..this crazy but y'all quick to take peoples plasma in there...everybody in there has
I've been donating with CSL for some time now and the fact that ALL complaints are given the same generic nonresponse says everything. Obviously this is not a well run center, I've had very good response from other CSL operators when I had an issue. I'm very concerned about using this donation center, probably won't bother due to reviews and the responses given!! Management matters!!!!!!! Follow up: What a joke! Right after I posted this review I received the VERY SAME generic reply about my "experience", a
Wednesday Jan 15 2025 I came to donate for the second time. Joe the Phlebotomist I had the first time tended to me. The first time I was there I got a decent bruise and I made him aware. I dont have small veins. Often referred to as pipelines. ANywayTime passes and it's time for my blood to be given back. He had the machine pumping it back to fast. And i quote joe `it was pumping the blood back to fast` Causing me to pass out and a hemotoba. And blown vein. Im glad i was able to get joes attention before i
Friendly staff but the weight time is very slow especially with empty stations ..that definitely needs work... Follow up 10 people on line for screening...1 person doing the screening...WOW
Was 5 stars, now 1 because the wait times are ridiculous, they center is understaffed and now they are lowering the pay? I've been donating at this center for years but I believe I'll be stopping now. It's not worth the time or money anymore. Guess I'll go to LFB in Fort Pierce now.....update, I wish I could give negative stars because it turns out in addition to cutting the pay they also take more plasma...less pay for more product? Who the hell thought that would be ok...fire them
I do not recommend this center in Port Saint Lucie They lied about the special they were offering. The last time I went they only paid $25 this was Jan 2025 that's absurd! Lines are very long and I don't know why because it's not with the 2 hours for Pennie?s.
So last month the PSL center tried to pull a fast one. They dropped the 2nd donation of the week to $55 and then try to give you a bonus of $20 after your 4th donation. It's really not a bonus. I asked the girl who manages the place and she she blew me off. Then this month, they have signs saying 1st donation $45 and 2nd $55. It clearly says on the signs in the center that the2nd donation is $60. False advertising? And from what I hear for this month there is no bonus!! Why are you getting so cheap. Do you
Im literally the only one in line and I've been standing here waiting. The service sucks and the pay sucks
Waited for nearly 2 hours and got halfway through the process and then I was told I couldn't donate because I live at a sober living facility and that I'm at high risk for hep C. Never used needles and am completely clean and sober. Terrible company policy. Never had a disease and treated like I'm homeless. Felt talked down too and not worthy as a person to donate. I was asked why I don't have my own private residence and degrading questions as to why I don't live with my son and that I should. Been clean a
It takes way too long too donate. Getting to the actual donation process can take over 15 minutes, donating itself takes 40, and you can be waiting for 20 minutes or more after you donate for them ro remove the needle and let you leave. The pay is also pretty bad and lower than other clinics ive been too. Overall, i dont think its worth doing unless you're desperate for money
I go to donate today and find out I have a 2 week deferral for a low grade fever. No one told me I was deferred and what is even crazier is it calls for a 2 week defferal at the exact temp I had, 100.4. Which is oddly specific. It is .9 over their max allowed temperature. I get it if you have a process but the screener even told me to come back the next day. This is poor business.
Haven't donated in 8 month's so I went an as a new donor. So the first donation I received 96 an just went today an received 42. New donor 100 100 100 75 55 whatever is after. Then I got 20 cash off an used 10 on the card. Now my balance is negative 50 cent. Make that make sense. Wheres the 7 dollars left over cause I deducted the 3.50 for ATM. Should b 7 dollar or around left. Whatever right, I've only been donating plasma since 2010 2011 smh....
Need more staff. Waiting approximately 4 hours to donate is unacceptable. Staff stands around talking to each other, way too much, when you have a line of 20-30 donors. And, having only one person checking donors in when there is a line wrapped around the stations, too unacceptable. Additionally, great you got new machines but maybe when replacing not remove all the older machines until all the new machines are ready. Train staff in new machines after hours, so you aren't taking staff away from donors.
I go at 7am when they open due to them closing at 6pm which is when I get off. There is always at least 10 people waiting at the door. The staff doesn't care about helping each other or you. It takes me longer to wait in the lines than it does for me to donate. They need better management. Someone that cares about the donors time
I called this plasma center before coming to be sure of the return donor payout schedule. Their staff member informed me that the pay schedule was the same for new return donors as the one that i came from; just like my regular center told me. So i decided to do my donations away from home while i was near this center. Fast forward not only do i not get paid what i owe but the staff was EXTREMELY rude and racist to me but very nice and sweet to my white counterparts in my face. They close their administrati
You set an appt and it takes another hr to be seen. Then have to wait in line again to donate.
Wasted 2hrs of my day and did not get to donate because of failure to communicate between a specialist and the front desk. Not only did my online appointment not show up on their system when I first arrived, but was locked outside after grabbing something from my car and being refused entry (after being ok'd by one of the employees, who did not inform the front desk worker). Front desk just shook her head and pointed at her wrist when she saw me at the door. I tried to call in, but even their phone lines we
Wouldn't give this place one star this was my second time back here just trying to get money for my family to get some groceries. Extra money at that and the nurse told me come in. She'll take care of my issue as last time whenever I went the first time, they deferred me because of my mother?s history. My mother?s passed away now and then they were telling everybody in the lobby about that violated my hip right and also embarrassed me and now they got me to come up here again and I'm stuck in the parking lo
I called to inquire so information. It's was pulling teeth. The young lady on phone was doing me a big favor . Not good . No star
Gina M wow hands down I would take this lady home!! She was very gental and soft spoken my experience with her is the best I've encountered. The manger Raquel who smelled like Roses!! came and introduced herself to me she was a sweet lady as well with very good energy. Keep up the great work guys!!!
The place seems understaffed, it takes way too long to get screened and start donating even when it isnt busy. There will be only one person screening people and its like well over half an hour just to start the plasma process. The pay is also pretty bad and not worth the hours it can take
Long lines overworked staff. My technician went to help another associate help a needle stick on the donor floor and wore the same gloves to start to stick me and I asked please change your gloves. I don't think that is very up to code. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable, but they are overworked and understaffed, and they're cutting corners with the laws of health protection
ATTENTION! this place is very understaffed, they move very slow, & the patients are extremely underpaid. sometimes you stand about 30 or more to have your finger pricked & then another 30 or more just to get a bed & donate. if you are a new donor you have 30 days to complete your first 5 promo donations which is $100 x 3 & $75 x 2. they don't tell you that you have 30 days to complete though. after that, they're highest payout is 95 dollars a week. must go twice though. (anywhere from $30-$45 your first tim
This location use to be fast. Now, I'm in here for 2 hours. It seems like they're always short staffed or their scheduling is off. No matter what day or time I come both lines are long and the wait is long. Absolutely ridiculous.
Been donating for around 6 years. Lately CSL in Port Saint Lucie have really lost all quality. I usually don't complain, but long lines and only one person sticking is the least of their problems. Today I had a issue, flow stopped, on first return. I told 3 different people over the span of a hour before anyone came to even look and see a problem. I pray that CSL fix these issues, especially when I pass by 2 other plasma donating places that pay more to come there.
I give up trying to donate at this csl plasma. The wait times are ridiculous!!!! Line wrapped around the corner for your vitals to be taken just to be stuck in yet another long line before you are called back to donate, the $45 is NOT worth the wasted time, headaches or aggravation . I will not be returning
I've been here for over an hour and they keep skipping me. This place sucks, don't waste your time coming here.
Yesterday was my first time donating plasma and I had a very positive experience. The person who did my intake, I believe her name was Darlene, was extremely patient with me and very friendly. The process took a while but she made it very simple. During my donation, Gina was a huge help and made sure I knew all the ins and outs and made sure I was alright when I started to get a little lightheaded. She made me very comfortable being it was my first time donating.
Edit: Tried one last time today 10/4....waited 45 min only for them to bring 4 new donars to front of line. LITERALLY WAS MOVING BACKWARDS IN LINE I WAS ALREADY IN. REGULAR DONARS GET SHAFTED BY NEW ONES THAT MAY NEVER COME BACK! OFFICIALLY DONE WITH CSL PLASMA AND EVERYONE SHOULD REALLY CONSIDER HOW MUCH $ CSL MAKES OFF YOUR TIME AND BLOOD. IT AINT $105 A WEEK I PROMISE YOU THAT. I AM EMBARRASSED THAT I EVEN REFERRED YOU TO ANYONE I KNOW. I HAVE HAD TO APOLOGIZE FOR VERY BAD REFERRAL. So went from fast 1
Jenasy was the person working with me here at this facility today, absolutely loved her!!! very professional, sweet and makes you feel completely comfortable!! everyone else was also extremely kind and helpful.
There should be a ZERO Stars choice! Worse one I've ever been to! I've donated for many years in honor of a friend once in need who shared this process. So I started to help! This Place Is So Unorganized.. uninformed and not enough staff. I never get help until I walk up and ask. They tell me everything I have there's an issue.. yet overlook it. Then I wait 10 minutes without a soul around to be helped because they have a glitch now! No one acknowledged I was there. I asked again for help. Blown off and tol
Been going here for over a year and made the decision to change to LFB, past few times I've been to CSL wait times were very long and only had one person working the floor. Staff were always complaining about management and pay . ( not very professional) glad I changed and started at LFB better environment
This happens every time I come here, I be done donating and for 20 mins I gotta lay there with a huge needle in my arm. I called to them several times but they just walked past like it not there job. Then they get mad when u ask them Y you pretend like you don't see me
I've been coming to Csl Plasma for a little over a year. Good staff horrible management. Seems like they can't keep their staff and it's only getting worse. Staff is always complaining about how they dislike working at Csl plasma because they aren't getting treated right. I have a few favorites. For reception, Jenasy is my favorite. She's always positive and is very funny!! Always has a good attitude. They over work her. Whenever I come in she's always by herself helping 12 people at a time. The only person
Awesome place, awesome staff, very friendly!!! Environment is completely clean. The last three times I went I ended up with Gina M, check in clerk, she's awesome, personable, fast, and efficient. All the phlebotomist that I have got are also extremely well mannered and always put a smile on my face. Good job to HR for hiring an incredible staff.
Gina Medina and the staff at CSL in PSL are all so friendly and helpful. Gina took the time to help me because my donation times were so long. She was able to find the problem and make the proper adjustments to make the process smoother for me. Thank you!
Superrrr cool staff always. More laid back then. B4 gabby marco reketa marie Bernadette are a major key of the team 5stars
This place takes a whole extra hour long when completing the new donor process and even when you are a returning donor. I've been a donor here before then left to go to another place and regret the fact I came back. Most places gives student an extra $5 or $10, but CSL doesn't provide that extra incentive. Might have to travel back to Ft Pierce even though I live less than 5 min away. I finished the video 10 min ago, but can't find the person who helped me. Yea please don't waste your time, that extra drive
Why isn't there a zero Star? I wanted to donate. But after reading all the horrible reviews about the rude, racist staff, and the robot responses ?? from corporate. There is NO WAY I'm going there. I guess PLASMA is overflowing at that location, and all Hospitals for that matter. What a shame ??
Been coming to CSL Port St Lucie for many years. Have seen a lot of staff transition. I don't have any issues when staff have a little fun interaction talking back and forth as they do their job. A fun workplace means they like each other and get along. I do enjoy making the extra cash that can be used anywhere without affecting the normal budget. Overall I have a good experience each visit. The staff is doing a great job with the long days on their feet. Keep up the good work.
My first impression of CSL Plasma was the cleanliness, throughout the whole location. All the staff were very attentive myself and other donor's. I was very surprised to see they have an exit lounge area. Very nice! "My hat goes off to Gina"
I've been going here for almost 2 years but am now switching to LFB Plasma in Ft. Pierce. The management is a joke at CSL. They have a few loyal employees left, but even they openly complain about management and how they treat the staff. CSL keeps lowering their payouts per donation. If you donate regularly (twice a week) you will get around $150 MORE at LFB than CSL. I will miss Cheryl, Becca, Gina, and other kind, hardworking, loyal employees who deserve better. Get your act together CSL!!! You are hemorr
This place is on a roller coaster when it comes to retaining staff. I was informed that 1 of the nicest phlebotomist is leaving and a couple already left. This is due to how some of the staff is treated by management. Unfortunately, it is very transparent. Some workers lack an ounce of energy or positivity and you see that from their management as well. This CSL location Is more like attending a funeral instead of donating. If effective changes are not made immediately, I will go elsewhere or just quit all
Not able to donate because the lady messed up my vein?. None of them seem to care. ?Just come back when it heals?
I'll start by saying I fully expected & wanted to rate @ 5 Stars! However? My 1st time donating @ CSL in Lakeland, this place ran like a well oiled machine. 2 weeks ago, my 1st time donating in PSL (was 3rd actual visit to CSL @ PSL, had to straighten out logistical issues I was only paid $45, Lakeland pay scale differs, paid for amount donated per; ($55, $60 & $65 EACH donation). PSL Phlebotomist chose a ?rolling vein? to anchor & it didn't pan out so she switched arms & it worked like a charm! (Gina was
cleanest i've ever seen the place lately. I normally give my neighbor a ride there and when i used the restroom the inside was a let down to be such an life changing plasma place, the floors and bathroom were gross, but this past week, used the bathroom an dit smelled and looked different the waiting room that wait for him in as well looked like a new place usually trash everywhere! my neighbor donates every other week 3 times a week because plasma saved his daughters life as a baby! Update: for the past 2
People are really nice and very observant.. They area professional when donors get anxieties. Not all people can handle a needle that large. One of the managers is Mary Taylor. She is amazing with her staff and the donors. If I could I would work there. If you plan on going mid mornings and mid afternoons are the best times. Very busy center.
DON'T BE SCARED AWAY BY REVIEWS!! I seriously almost was. When you see negative reviews about a medical place of any kind it can be sketchy. I recommend you come in and make your own opinion. At the end of the day you might be saving a strangers life and making $55 or more. That was my TLDR... My personal opinion, the staff was about as friendly and personable as you would expect any blood donation place to be, mind you I had only donated blood on the big red bus prior to this. Since I was new, they kindly
Very good experience! This was my first time donating since 2015 when the age restriction was 65. On April 21, 2022 the entire staff was happy, helpful, eager to get everyone hooked up and donating??.VERY VERY PLEASED! The re-registration process did take the estimated 2 hours however I personally appreciate the thoroughness! Again, super satisfied!
Staff seems really unhappy to be here and you spend more time waiting to get hooked up to a machine than you actually do in the chair. Just waiting and waiting and waiting without anybody even acknowledging you. Last time I was here, two employees stopped helping someone get unhooked so that they could have a loud argument right in front of me for about 5 full minutes.
I have always had a pleasant experience when I use this facility. Gabby, Ms Mary and Mandie were all very friendly efficient and very professional. I haven't had any major issues ever except with the thumb prints. I give 4/5 because you do occasionally get cranky staff or really slow like they are bothered to be there but you cant hold the whole facility responsible just because 2 or 3 slow aggrivated workers. All in all I enjoy it.
I have been coming to CSL Plasma now for nearly 3 years. The staff is always friendly and efficient and it's always nice to get paid a few extra bucks for helping your fellow man. A special thanks to Gabrielle, Sheyann, Melissa, Marco's, Angie and so many more. Just a very nice and friendly staff. The facility is very nice and comfortable. It is well lit and they have pleasant music playing in the background. I have tried the local competitors but they often make it nearly impossible to donate and they
So they fired a bunch of employees and the wait times were almost 2 hours plus donation time. Employees were rude. They dont allow employees to work more than 35 hours and no overtime. Thats why always you see new faces. The management is a joke.
Absolutely awful. Your wait will be at least 2-4 hours, standing up mind you. All the negative reviews pretty much nailed it. And if you read the positive reviews they seem to be from employees.
The facility it's self is okay still always short staffed those who are training to stick people need more training ?the fact that thousands of dollars per donor is what the buisness receive verses the 45 dollars that are given to people donating os crazy to me do better csl because with the people there would be no csl plasma
Very short staffed but if that's not enough the medical staff are VERY rude they have no sense of urgency. You will wait sometimes more than 30 min before even being acknowledged. I also had issue on return visit they put my name in wrong wasted another hour to get that all fixed then nurse declined me because of a small bruise came back 3 days later same nurse refused me again after a 30 minute wait-check-in staff & manager both said they would have approved me as they could see no bruise but medical has a
Been going there on and off for several years. Have never had a bad experience. Usually in and out within an hour or so. Good rapport between staff and all the donors, especially the regular donors. Angela at the reception desk is always welcoming with a great upbeat personality!
They used to have the friendliest staff here, but not anymore. The people here now are some of the rudest people on earth. They treat you like an annoyance and don't make you feel welcome. The one that don't wear name tags are the worst.
Individual answering the phone was very rude and disrespectful when being asked basic questions from myself as a first time donor. I simply asked what the promotion was for first time donors and immediately was met with an aggressive tone.
Too inconsistent I was here the other day to get registered and they did a pretty good job that was pleasant enough and it went okay today I am here and it is like a circus sideshow. Real lack of professionalism very disappointing today I would rate A1 but I don't want to make it sound like everybody was horrible because some of the people here are very nice and professional they just need to tighten up.
This is the best center I've been to! They get the client in & out quickly w/o horseplay. I've been donating for about 6 months now & each experience has gone well. Gina Medina is an EXCELLENT employee. She always greets me with a smile & is very informative!! I will continue to donate because of the pleasant experiences I have had!!!
I've been donating for seven years and I haven't had a bad experience, not once. The staff has been great but the place is sometimes understaffed so I'm there longer than I would like. I have a few bad reactions but had nothing to do with the staff. I honestly don't know why I had them but it was nothing that a few ice packs couldn't cure. The only problem I have ever had was they didn't give anyone enough notice that they were closing earlier and I had to find out they were closed after driving all the way
Csl staff is so friendly, caring, and compassionate. Most times they work pretty quickly, at least that's my experiences. I'm always greeted with a smile no matter what staff member it is. All in all I recommend 100%
Experienced phlebotomists. Melissa is very caring, also Geo and Michelle. Melissa was who I started with first an she has always been my preferred... Starting with the front staff checking you in to finishing at the end, the process is pleasant and professional. Everyone knows your name and genuinely cares about you.
When I first came to this facility, I was impressed with their due diligence in getting me registered with all my meds that I am taking. I love the conversations with the staff as I get the initial sign in before donating. The floor staff go the extra mile to make you comfortable and ensuring that all is set up to donate easily.
Always a good experience on my visits. Gina does a fantastic job of making the experience easy and makes the needle stick painless as possible. Really a great asset to csl plasma in my honest opinion.
The intake staff is horrible. I was literally there twenty minutes before I was greeted. Yes after ringing the buzzer. And the staff members who were working that area were rude, dismissive, and generally unhelpful. I shouldn't have wasted an hour of my time waiting while they chatted about their personal lives and did nothing even remotely work related. Two supervisors wandered though. One actually checked on me which is the only reason i made it through the educational video where they said that they'd tr
I have been to this location three times and I have yet to donate. The first of the three times, I got there 4 hours before close. It took about 30-40 minutes for an employee to even speak to me while I was sitting in the ?new donor? section. I was told that they were not able to take in any new donors today because they were backed up. I understood and decided to just try my luck another day. On my second and third visit, I dealt with the same thing. I sat in the area for new donors for at least 30 minute
Some people working here are wonderful but there are some who are combative and do not want donors to return. How does CSL afford to turn so many donors away as a few bad apples are responsible for this loss. It's like they're happy to have less work and fewer donors and 'annoyance' from dealing with donors. Those bad CSL reps strive for fewer donors and less work, and CSL condones this because it's getting worse, not better. There must be a greater shortage of workers than donors because employees rule her
Doesnt even deserve the star, sat and waited over 45 mins to keep being told to wait for the screening lady, meanwhile her and the other lady are just talking up a storm and not paying any attention to anyone or anything. Then gonna be told to relax because im upset over the time im sitting when everyone else is being dealt with
First time donating went very smooth nothing to complain about all staff was very nice I had zero issues Great Job Staff at CSL Plasma
The staff here are so amazing, and patient. They always make you feel welcomed, and cared for. They work well together as a team, and they constantly check on every donor more then 6 times during your donation. I have never seen any of them standing around. They are always moving... constantly ??????
This office has gotten slower and slower. Started offering new earlier hours, but the staff routinely opens late. Even after opening computers and machines are not ready. Most recently the manager did not show up and they had to send everyone home after opening 10 mins late. Avoid this office, staff doesn't care
Came here with my mother who was donating plasma. We walked in and one of the employees were very rude to me. I've never been here and was unaware you are not allowed to snap pics (Snapchat). The lady was very rude and told me to go to the waiting room. I asked her where that was and she said ?over there? mind you I've never been here in my life. Very rude I would never want to come here as a patient myself. Just be nice it's not that hard if you don't like your job don't take it out on others. You can info
Everyone is so friendly here.... I love working with Ms. Gina, Ms. Cheryl and Janey, Christine and a few more I just can't remember their names... Great place to go and a clean facility
PSL - 072 The staff and environment are always friendly , upbeat and courteous. I look forward to seeing the staff and they make it very welcoming for donors. Bringing back the bonuses was a great idea as well. Keep up the great work everyone.
Staff is GREAT !! Management should stop adjusting the payments, treat your workers better. Why do you think they are leaving? Donors are going to be going somewhere else also.
Had couple issue. Will not donate again First issue front counter lady never talk she just stuck me. Never even hey or anything. No customer service Second issue. The lady that stuck me. You could tell she hasn't been doing it for a while. She stuck couple people and need help. Three issue when it was my turn I also had an issue other girl did my other arm after I asked them to stop digging on my other arm. Four issue everyone that it happened to had a allegiant reaction is that strange when I have bee
I used to highly recommend this place but now it's A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Not NEARLY enough staff, and no system AT ALL. I'm a returning donor with a walk in appt, check in paperwork done, health screening done, still sitting for over an hour while other walk ins were taken in front of me. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! GET IT TOGETHER!
I only liked Gabby and Jamie. The only ones who seem to know what theyre doing. Other staff need extended training. I dont know how its my fault but I got deferred for 60 days because of a problem with their machine. Now recently, my mother has had problems with using her card. Her account balance says -$4.00 when she had just came from donating and bought gas and a burger, but couldnt buy anything else 20 minutes later??? Shes suppose to still have $15 left. Wheres the rest of her money? This place was nic
I wish I could give it no stars because of how unorganized and undesrstaffed this place is. The people here, (not all of them but most of them )are the most unprofessional people I've ever had to deal with. My brother in law came here one time and they messed up his arm so bad that the blood literally spilled out everywhere all over him and his work clothes, and non of my experiences have been any better. Some of the staff members stand around talking instead of helping you, and alot of them look like they
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
