CSL Plasma Rainbow City, AL

The CSL Plasma was very nice and clean place. Some of the staff was wonderful. My problem is I sat there for over 2 hours, when I was honest about my medication. The rude nurse looks down on me for taking this medication. When you been on this medication for awhile, you know when someone is looking down on you. Hey nurse maybe that person is allergic to Acetaminophen and Codiene. Now if my medication is such a problem then it should be on that LIST for then I should not have wasted my time. Or maybe

Most of the medical receptionists are really nice! But some of the phlebotomists shouldn't work there. They gossip and talk drama instead of doing their jobs and it makes your process way longer than it should be.Also some phlebotomists are aggressive while inserting the needle in. Prepare for 2 hours minimum regardless the time of day. There's a chick in the back who doesn't know how to stick. I've donated for 8 years and never once had a bruise. She stuck me wrong and then the incompetent staff kept telling me to pump when I'm already pumping. Waste of time they do not open on Sunday why in the world Saturday is the new start of the period. 40$ including weight the max they literally just getting your plasma for fun 40$ to save somebody life I guess the donor isn't as important

The employees are always friendly. They are polite and during your donations They make sure that you are okay throughout your whole visit. With my experience with CSL Plasma in Rainbow City they are constantly making sure that everything is clean and disinfected. They change their gloves constantly throughout the process to make sure that we are all safe and so are they! I love the employees at this location!

They have a great work crew and they are very good at what they do I just don't understand I can donate at the one in Anniston AL and can do it every Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays but here I have to wait from Monday all the way to that Friday of the same week if I stays like this imma go back to the one in Anniston

I went here for my first time to donate plasma and everyone was awesome. Bobby and Cheyenne did my intake and we're so helpful and nice. Shana was so nice and answered all my questions on the phone. Sandra did my physical and she was nice, helpful and quick. Madison pumped me up and was so kind trying to stick me and help, she wasn't able to get my needle in, but called for help and Sam got it for me. Nice people, clean building. Bring a blanket or a coat. By the time I was done I was freezing. All the ones I asked have only been here 6 mths or less. 3hrs for 1st donation.

Been donating here since 2022 and have always had a pleasant experience. The entire staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming my favorite is Hannah. She always has a smile on her face when interacting with donors and makes good conversation to help them stay comfortable.

First time here and it was pretty standard getting thru the nurse and questions but once you get to the back to get hooked up there's no order or organization. The girls just walk around hooking up people when they want? very poorly ran in the back getting hooked up.. the nurse was very nice though? probably won't come back and will tell my friends and family not to waste their time.. very disappointed ?? This place is simply awful. I came here with my husband today from almost an hour away. Been here for 3 hours now and counting. They say they close at 7 but people still coming in to donate, do not go here not worth any money.

Go thru the process pass everything except get to the nurse station part. She is RUDE. Then asks me if I have the papers they gave me. My payment ain't go thru and rather than just processing it Bobby had me come all the way back for something they fixed over the phone a week prior so the comment is strictly fa him and his incompetence. The last donation I was bruise by Tori and the nurse I saw today was very rude it is almost I don't want to go back. I have been working with the public for 30+ years and I try to be nice to my customers so the will come back having a chip on your shoulder doesn't help for customers coming to you.

My biggest complaint is that they don't keep the hours they have posted. They almost always close 30 minutes to an hour early with no warning or so much as a note on the door. What was the point of extending your hours if you don't keep them? Otherwise, staff is great and the place is clean.

HORRIBLE PLACE PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Short staffed! Will have you waiting for 5+hours ONLY HAS 1 nurse an she has a nasty attitude! You get in line and they will skip you an employees all over the place the (3)they have?? they need to hire more workers because this is not it. If you don't have a job this is the place for you to sit for 8 hours for the little bit of money you will get.and workers have nasty attitudes as well.

It used to be wonderful coming in here. It used to take 45 minutes in total to donate and they were always nice. They did their best every time. In the past month, I have to wait 3-5 hours everytime and they keep messing up. I'm highly upset that I've been sent awa for someone else's mistake. It's not even worth coming back at this point.

So i go and every time I'm there it takes 2 hours longer to donate. God forbid I'm going to anything after. Like work or class. All because they don't have enough staff to keep up with the volume of people. The staff who are there are amazing. Just not enough of them. Only thing making this a 2 star and not a 1. I mean, a quarter of their machines are sitting in the corner in disrepair.

There really clean, nice, and welcoming! I just hate how they only check your plus twice even if it's lowered down they still send you away but guess I understand that as well!

This is a really great place to donate. The employees are all super nice and knowledgeable. When it gets really busy they do everything they can to help make the process go fast and smooth

Not worth the time. You will spend most of your day sitting waiting for a 100$ isn't worth the time. They also forgot me and left me sitting for an hour had to retake their quiz which wasn't my fault they don't care.

Clean facility with a friendly staff. Very understaffed, need to hire a receptionist. Also need to update website information!!! Why have a website if you don't keep it up to date? Three different times I've checked their website and it shows they're open to only get there and find out they're closed. Whenever I addressed this situation to staff I was told either that the website should be up to date or that it was corporate's job to update it. Frustrating to say the least.

This place doesn't even have techs who can take a simple temp right. I shouldn't be deferred because my temp is 93. If it was 93 i would be hyperthermia and would require medical assistance. This place is literally a disgrace. I wish there was a different center in our area cause this place doesn't know what they are doing clearly

Terrible intake practices. Three or four intake workers on the floor but at least 2 are standing around watching. That's a constant occurrence. One will be struggling to get donors vitals while the others wander around.

My only complaint would be that they need more staff! It is hard to donate when you have to plan on spending 3 to 4 hours there just to donate (and that's not just for new donors). They were so packed that today they weren't taking any new donors. The triage line was all the way to the door. Please hire more help.

On my first experience with this place my vein blew which was very uncomfortable and the phlebotomist who stuck me is not even the one who caught it. A floor supervisor did. When there soppose to stay open until 7 pm thier locking doors at 5 pm and unhooking thier phone line and I sit and watch then let certain people in and shut doors on others. When you get deferred for a tattoo they tell you they can't do anything about it and only thing do is call corporate that is crazy if have tattoos or piercings be careful.

I went at 3:00 and they said they weren't taking new diners anymore that day. They told me to come back the next morning at 7:00. I did, but they wouldn't accept my ID because the name on my driver's license included my middle name, but my Social Security card only had my first and last name.

You stand in line for 30 minutes and watch them play around go to the back talk to each other play with their hair.. new donors come up and they want to call them and they still have a long line of donors they haven't even got to because they're too busy playing around.. and all today I stood in line for about 40 minutes just trying to get to intake and watch them play around half the time and continuously take new donors when there was only one person up there

I'm a big wuss when it comes to needles and everyone there is so sweet about it. They're very good about keeping me calm and are always gentle.

I love the staff and it's so family friendly. The process is easy and they answer any questions I have I highly recommend coming.

Nosey workers, rude, and very slow ??????? Made me go thru their process and got to the back to be hooked up nosey staff asked me hella questions and if i had eaten i said no but i didnt hear them asking others had they eaten but ian trip i just left i was already mad because i drove from Birmingham to gasden (almost an hour drive) their team is very lazy takes forever to get thru the process they stand around all day talking and doing nothing while others wait 30 more minutes to get hooked up and running

They are helpful and friendly. They do not have to stick more than once. It is a bit cold but next time I will bring a blanket.

I highly recommend CSL Gadsden they are very awesome broke a new light into donating for me last place I had donated Had donated blew out both veins CSL Gadsden took great care and only had to stick me once took a little longer to get my physical done but was told I would be compensated for the extra time thanks again you guys are great see you next time

Terrible place. Will give you a nice bruise so you can't donate. And the points that you get for referring somebody or feeling something out online being an extra $10 that never happens. Spend your time better elsewhere.

I called like I was asked to before showing up and was told to come on in, however when I got there there after driving 35 miles I was told they were not taking anymore donors today. I explained that I called beforehand and the lady at reception said she would ask her boss. The boss also said no. It was a waste of my time!!!!!!!

I have been giving plasma twice a week for the last two years. Great experience everytime. They are very friendly and will assist with answering questions and explain things to you.

CSL Plasma RBC, AL involved in practices that are not good including profiling among others. The truth hurts and needs to be told. I will be honored to do just that. Watch for future post as my investigation continues. The local FOX affiliate will enjoy the truth and facts.

They are not good at looking at things before they tell you to sit down and wait over an hour when I take you back there to review and do a profile before they say what your name is misspelled and cannot take u that is a waste of my gas coming up there they should have said the very first time I went up there they don't take time to look at your your driver's license and Social Security but is that you're good have a seat and we'll take you back and then when they take you back later on saying we can't take

I've been donating to CSL Plasma for several years in several places including Birmingham AL and Kansas City MO. I have never been to a more slow, unorganized office in my life. The wait time is HORRIBLE. The staff has no sense of urgency. I doubt they will stay open with current administration.

Not qualified! This facility is not qualified enough to handle blood properly! They will say your blood has false positive and tell you that you can't donate! Do better testing!! Not worth the trouble.
