The 1 star reviews are outdated and while there was some truth to them they have vastly improved this past year. I last went to this center in feburary 2024 and just came back this month they have me under a new donor again. The process of new donor went much quicker this time around and i was in and out in about 2 hours. Subsequent visits have been great they are on it getting you in and out now. Definitely improved on service and staff!
The place requires no appointment for subsequent donators. The building is clean and organized. The staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. You get $500 for first 5 donations. The lines go fast and they provide water and crackers and masks for free. David, Jasmine, Lisa, Maria are good staff. Maddy also helpful.
They Know when to work because there will be lots of people in line for vitals but they still will keep talking in the back and not come, so vitals will take a while but when there are less people in line they will all be there in each vital station, isn't that weird? Also ever since I got the name of one nurse because she was unprofessional, well I come back and of course the staff is rude and not helpful I try to look for names and nothing they completely took off they're name tags it's like they are wear
Update . So im a new returning donor so im familiar on how this works i know there machines in the vital area are wacked out they say my pulse is supper high all the time and its never like that at any other donor place . For the most part staff is amazing and pretty fast..I think the phlebotomist are all pretty good i recommend jasmine she is awesome . And they still have the new returning donor payout which is Amazing. Thats what keeps me coming back .
Been coming here for years it's been as far as I'm concerned the most consistent plasma place that I've been going to that's not too without bashing anyone's not be like some of it but anyways it's a good place to go to if you're in a hurry and you like good customer service... Very clean positive environment...
Today at vitals I had 101 degree fever-but I didn't feel ill. They surprisingly let me go out into the heat with this fever. I wouldn't recommend this location-the employees are very unprofessional and very entranced by the Hollywood lifestyle. Get over it!
I was thinking of coming but just seen some reviews and it doesn't look good. I do not plan on coming after all, thank you for your guys reviews saved me from making a mistake.
After a few issues the management has been steping up as well as leads I had all successful donations when they stick me but Incomplete with others so thanks staff!!! That extra experienced with my type of Vanes
They take their sweet time and tell anyone who is in the departure room to get out. It doesn't matter what the weather is.
The lines are long the music is awful but worst of all they are trying to cut cost by giving out these cheap crackers, which was the reason I would go. People are better off going to Bio Life where weight is not a factor and they pay you 130$ for your donations instead of 100$ at CSL if you weight enough
Seems like all the CSL locations got new plasma machines...... and they suck. Been waiting for 20 minutes and the line only moved up two people. Not worth the wait. You wait longer now to be seated than to be screened. One of the ladies that screens stated that people in line have waited 1.5 hours+ just to be seated. 1 star for wait time. Nothing towards staff since their all mostly nice people.
I honestly feel like this facility needs new staff the ones who are there seem like they don't want to work. They send customers on a wild goose chase rather than giving them the information they need or a direct answer.
Honestly the wait time nowadays is just too long. Even on a "good day" with little line you're there at least an hour and a half. On average people are there 3 hours. Becoming more and more time consuming, and less worth the donation payment. Not sure if they dont have the staffing or if they're just slow but it'sbeen like this for MONTHS. The new machines did not help with the wait times. Still gave a 3 star because at least the staff is nice.
Milton the center manager does not know how to run this place. His managers reflect his leadership skills which are lack-luster at best. The managers are never seen in the floor and are only in their office having a banquet. For what? They haven't done anything while they have one person helping people at the front. The managers won't even come out for people who complain like myself until I literally had to tap on the glass. They sit there and don't do a single thing while their employees suffer. Shame on
The staff is really nice and friendly, but I feel overall the management so bad. I have been waiting two hours and still haven't seen the nurse. Also the donation lines are 20 people plus and they only have two people checking vitals. Also the communication between staff is customer isn't that great sometimes it's hard to get a clear answer they just tell someone will be with you shortly.
Fast, convenient location. They provide water and crackers. I was in and out in less than 50 minutes.
Jazzy is the best she got my hard to stick arm with no problems ??......been donating here for a while....this my favorite location
Great staff, great phlebotomy staff is amazing. I definitely recommend great compensation
I just read their reviews, Just thinking that I want to donate at there facility, But at this rate I don't want even donate there and reviews don't lie,This is people's honest opinion about this facility,I know that will not be going to this place.Someone need to step in and correct what's the needs for the people that there assisting or just close there door's.
I came here Tuesday morning to donate, only to be told I was on a deferall list by Beatrice in management. But she didn't understand why and couldn't override it. And that she would have to call IT and figure it out after I waited there for half an hour. She said she was going to call me. I never received a call so I called two days later and was told it was fixed and I could donate. So I came in today to donate. I was told to wait for my name to be called after trying to check in. I Got skipped three time
Horrible, waiting 20 minutes after waiting hours. I was done for 20 minutes before anyone helped me. Just laying on the bed hoping someone would help me. It wasn't busy. They were like 10 donors in the building total. Monday, September 9 at 5 o'clock in the evening not busy at all. The worst experience I will never come back to this place again.
This spot is dirty as hell just came from the gym weighing 206lbs went there next door to donate they said I weighing 198 lbs so they burned me for 5 bucks dirty ass place just don't go teach them a lesson
Been waiting like 20min after I'm done it's seriously a joke now . Can I get corporate number? Someone needs to be held accountable and especially when the big guy in a dress is walking around almost gonna fall has to lean on everything and cracking jokes
Nothing against the staff here, but this place is horrific. I'm a pretty patient person, but I've been here since 7am as a first donor and it's 10am and I haven't even been called up to talk a nurse like at BioLife. And I was second on the list to be seen. I would recommend anyone to go to BioLife at all costs. CSL Plasma does nothing but waste your time, once again the staff are nice and courteous and have no control over these machines and the way this company does things. Take your needs elsewhere if y
Would give 0 stars if I could. I am a new donor, have been here since 8:30 and it's currently 11:30. I have been skipped twice so far and went to ask why, all they said was ?oh?. It's been 3 hours and all that's happened is reading the consent forms. I still need to verify my info, see nurse, questions and vitals AND THEN actually donate. Slowest service I have ever received. DO NOT DONATE HERE!!! Worst plasma place in the area. BioLife is close and way better!!
Terrible company with even worse management. Most people say ?oh if you see a bad review it's probably because the person who wrote it couldn't follow rules? let me tell you now that is not the case here. Come here long enough and you'll see just how terrible it really is and how not involved the management is.
I'll start by saying, idk what day everyone came that was a bad day but everyone here is mad cool. Compared to other centers, they do the best job at poking you just once and it's never a bad donation , give it another chance
horrible place staff is cool but time is not of importance here your first time you spend about 4 hour and they gonna tell your next will be faster and it will a little but it won't feel like it cause they are so slow in the front you will spend about a hour or more there alone then you get put on another line that you spend about 30 min to an hour there then 20 min waiting to get stuck and then the 30-45 min donating so basically 2 and half hours to 3 hr just to donate meanwhile in biolife I spend a hr at
New donors, don't waste your time here. I've tried 4 times to come here to donate and get turned away before they ask for any information. Calling ahead to see if they are currently taking new donors is pointless. I have called and verified each time right before I go that they are still taking new donors, and the answer is never consistent ? we are taking new donors until 5pm? or ?4:30pm? and every time I show up before those times, 1 hour or more. I get turned away and their answer is always the same ? w
Update: site manager Vanessa refuses to reporomand OR CORRECT the malicious act of the employee or manager that deferred me who also refused her name after she ASSUMED i was homeless because i said that im disabled and this is my only income. DISCRIMINATION!! I CANNOT REACH REGIONAL DIRECTOR as the complaint is kept at site managment level. I live with family members thank god but was deferred DUE TO NO LEASE??? HOW DO I SHOW YOU SOMETHING THAT I DONT HAVE?? I proved my address when I started with them! TH
Definitely not the place you want to donate staff is uncaring leave you attached to machines 10 minutes after donating not only that that makes it unclear about when new payment cycles start definitely recommend any other plasma donation center and if you wanna call don't waste your time they don't answer and voicemail is full
They have a cutoff for new donors, it's not listed anywhere
Looking at the signs in the lobby I see one that starts, SAVE LIVES FASTER and the first bullet point is DONATE PLASMA FASTER. The only thing I see fast ate the workers taking vitals and sticking donors once they finally arrive, after waiting behind thirty donors to the donor floor. Another poster in the lobby begins DONOR EXPERIENCE REIMAIGINED. This reimagining has resulted in terribly long wait times and has resulted in this donor's experiencing a nonimagined negative experience. There are enough equipp
Lemme tell y'all this place is clean and helpful workers! Ashley very gently didn't feel a thing!! I appreciate all the employees!! Love y'all
Hello so I've been donating since they've opened and It wasn't my first experience but I was told about the refer a friend and I did just that I never received the incentive was first told for 3 days it was pending to just then be denied and say that they don't know why I still donate with them but there service should be better I had to make a report with corporate and still nothing and this happened in November 2023 I hope they get it together people depend on there services
You guys have got to come up with a better system than letting every new donor go to the front of the line. When you've been the next person up for 20 minutes because new people keep getting put ahead of you right when you're about to go up, it's infuriating. Maybe ask the person at the head of the line if someone else has already been put ahead of them, and if so, put the new person right behind them. I wouldn't have minded being put second when I was new.
Been a loyal donor for almost 2 years now recently in the past 5 to 6 months this place has gone downhill the wait time is outrageous you will be there for at least two and a half hours they only use one section of beds when they have a whole other section open with beds ready to go but choose to make people stand in line management really needs to get the wait time under control before I used to be in and out this place within an hour just to get your finger poked it takes forever because the girls in the
Take advantage of your first month but be prepared to wait 2+ hours for the first visit. After that it isn't worth it to come in for $55. Only have 4 locations that check your vitals and unless it's slammed they never have 4 people sitting in those chairs. Even when it's dead you wait at least 15+ minutes to complete the first task. After that you go into the chair and when it's dead that usually doesn't take long. During peak hours you'll be waiting. The staff is friendly so that helps out this location
Good experience great staff. Not worth it after promotion of $500 for donating 5 times in one month. After that if you donate twice those two dontions combined are $112, I would have stayed here if they were offering more than bio life but bio life is $130 twice a week.
I like this place and the fact that it hasn't sold out like all the other places first off your here donate plasma not get money it should be about caring about helping others not how much money you get for all you biolife huggers. 2nd the ppl here are real not fake robots that wear a smile 24/7 n they actually work to make there money. I love this place any every one that works in it n I'm always in n out don't understand what's so hard about answering questions waiting for an open chair then leaving. Gues
Every time I call it says it's closed and anybody verify that it's still open
I WOULD of given 5 stars because everyone was exceptionally amazing; nurses even the security guard was very helpful; however DEMETRIUS (guy with dreads) is extremely unprofessional! He was not my nurse, but I overheard him complaining to the staff ?he wasn't getting paid for today? which was an odd conversation to overhear. I donated 3 times in the past but at this location was my first time in 2 years donating. The last 10 minutes I felt extremely lightheaded, felt sweaty & started losing my hearing so t
Very professional and courteous and friendly and clean center.
After reading all of the negative reviews, I said to myself they can't be talking about CSL Rialto. So I felt I should say something about my experience, I started coming to this facility in May and have nothing but good things to say, the person taking my vitals have always told me if I needed to take in more water or needed more protein/iron or whatever. And everytime I made it to the back never once did I wait more than 5 minutes before a phlebotomist was there to get the process started and not once did
I'm a new donor and I have amazing veins. The first two times I went the process was amazing and the needle stick went smoothly. This time was my third donation and I know about medical procedures because I'm a medical professional. The sterilization process was done incorrectly, you are suppose to clean the vein for 30 seconds and this lady did it for 5 seconds. I didnt get her name but she had braids or cornrows on to of her head and the rest of her hair was in a bun. I got some donating at 730pm. So afte
The donation process went smoothy, the facility is clean and well kept. The phlebotomists that do the poking are very friendly and knowledgeable about how to conduct their job. Just make sure you get in during the open hours, the donation process can take between 40 minutes (my fastest time) to just over an hour for each donation. Overall, I will definitely be coming back!
I had just called to see if they were still accepting new donors they said yes to stop by as long as I was there before 5pm I got there 3:30 and mind you when I had called it was 3:15 as I walk in I'm told no new donors due to short staffing I'm like what I just called 15 min ago said it was fine they said oh I'm sorry our manager just told us about 10 min ago to stop taking new donors what an inconvenience wasted my gas for nothing asked if I can setup an appointment for next time said no appointments . wo
My experience was amazing! Lisa is a great phlebotomist and answered all of my questions with no problem
Great place it's cold inside with free wifi. Staff is very informative and polite. New machine's make it quicker to donate.
They're rude here they kicked me and a couple of guys out even though we were waiting for people inside, the chubby security guard said we couldn't wait in the waiting room unless we donated even though my mom was in there donating I had to go outside in the cold
Never going again! Completely messed up my arm!! Blew my vein , hit a nerve & now my arm shakes when I lift it, on top of the swelling !! I can no longer use my arm to its full ability. It was my first time ever donating plasma and it was the worst experience ever ! I would think twice about hitting up this place. Obvious the ppl they have here don't know what their doing. The female who did mine , put the needle in , came out with it after going way to deep, then pushed it back in some more , came out agai
Don't come here if you think it's a quick buck you will end up waiting 2-3 hrs normal donation start to end, new patient 3-7 hrs yes you read that right full shift. Aside from that staff in back are amazing , front staff you have your bad apples. If you are looking for a quick draw location that still pays well try biolife plasma centers
I was waiting for my son to finish plasma so I can go home with my broken leg the security guard at 6:40 pm December 2nd told me I had to get out that I couldn't
They're ok, some staff is very friendly. DO NOT let them bring the needle back and forth after sticking you. My first donations went perfectly fine, I would be out in less then 1 hr (40-45 mins for donation) I have small veins, unfortunately not everyone knows how to properly "Poke" properly. My arm has been black for 7 days after my 4th donation which I wasn't able to complete, when my first return was happening the blood couldn't go back. Someone else poked me again on my other arm, it also bruised but no
A majority of the staff is Not Friendly!!This place is Slow at taking vitals!! The Phelbotomist staff can't stick arms correctly!! Oh and watch out for Mckayla with Glasses she'll get you in trouble with the staff and tell the managers completely different what happened just to get you in trouble. Run to the other plasma centers because this staff needs to be trained with customer service towards customers who come in to give you guys a job!! They refuse to let anyone defend themselves for anything...
I got shorted on my 8th donation payment. The place is clean, the staff friendly. However a new manager is pinching pennies (actually dollars), from expected payments, not good to promote return donations. They must have too many donors. My experiance may be extraordinary, but it may be the new normal. Starting on a $1,100 schedual, I returned for a 3rd donation , traveling 30mi. Costing $20 in gas, was told could not donate sample had not been approved. "Holidays". But it only takes 7 max 14 days . Many ph
I really like coming to this plasma center, the staff is very kind considering they're understaffed in the front. It is frustrating tho that we live in the high desert and cannot call since they don't answer the phone. It just rings and rings until it gives a busy tone.
It's always about a 2 hour wait to the back to get your blood drawn, then and extra 45 mins to in hour for the machine to do It's job. Then hopefully someone sees you're ready to leave and not leave you plugged in for an extra 15-20 mins like they seem to do me. Today they see bruises on my arm from work, made me wait an extra hour for an exam. I just sit here wondering what takes them so long to see 2 people ahead of me. Anyways if you have a few hours to waste for a few bucks come here to get stuck.
Went to donate plasma today as a new donor here, experience was great and the staff is polite and helpful, definitely coming back here.
This is literally the worst place to donate at you will stand in line for a long time because the employees be soo busy talking to each other instead of actually working and there is no point of even calling them because they will not answer called 30 mins straight no pick up literally sooo unprofessional I'd advise never come here
First time coming, everyone was nice ?? stayed about 4 hours, but that's because I was new and they have to screen you. It was expected, so I didn't mind the wait.
Well, my mind is made up not to go to this place after reading their reviews. I heard the commercial on KCal 96.7 radio station but I'll pass! Who would want to go deal with attitude, bruised veins and a long wait for $55? I hate when they act like they cant find your veins!
Really slow processing. Staff stands around talking. The process should be streamlined for returning donors. Going from vitals to the bed takes just as long as a new donor which doesn't make it worth waiting for $50 to $60
Love this place friendly staff and they take care of you???? did take 4 hours for first donor visit but they were short staffed.. but as soon as they got me in and out the money was in the card and ready to use??
I've donated at several different plasma centers and this is by far the worst one. I went in last week and they poked my left arm, couldn't get it right so they switched over to my right arm. Now I have a bruise on each arm and I can't donate until the bruises clear up. The workers need better training in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend coming here; go somewhere else!
I've been blessed with such a awesome experience with CSL . I used to be a little afraid of needles but there I'm not . Phlebotomists are pretty good there but the best is Vicki. Painless ??
Really disappointed about this donation location. After signing up online and making an appointment I arrived to find out that I am out of their ?30 mile range? (which I wasn't informed this was an issue before setting my appointment). Then they tell me my 1pm appointment isn't actually an appointment just a ?best time to come time? but that they actually stop taking new donors at 10am. After the drive over to find out all of this information. I will not be donating at any other CSL Plasma locations.
I only come for the new donor pay but most these employees just sit around and talk to and gossip and make u wait like they are gods and control the flow of when u sit in a chair a whole side of seat will be open but u still gotta wait for the gods to tell u to sit down . Everything is very slow here and only maybe one or two people actually do there jobs properly and some staff is just extremely rude only two people really do there job the black guy with dreads and the girl with septum piercing
First time Donor Note: Eat a larger breakfast than normal (protein rich) the check in, takes longer for you. Passing out from low protein is not cool. Also drink a lot of water before up until about an hour before you donate. Don't be afraid to let the techs know if youre getting dizzy or lightheaded, riding it out won't work, your light will click off. Speaking from the."I can handle it" side, and living from the "I told you so". Lol. Life lessons. After the first donation, it's faster and easier
First day went off without a hiccup. Today however, I had to experience my first vein blow up; blood all over the chair. Bruised arm, and staff members taking too long to respond to my poorly inserted needle.
All the wonderful and beautiful lady's and gentlemen. Are so compassionate and very professional and the facility is very clean and welcoming and shout out to the security guards always nice and professional...!
Peace of mind when you see them disinfecting everything u touch and everything they touch. Great place over all. Not gonna lie , I got frustrated after waiting so long on a Sunday morning , so left got me some coffee breathed in and out and came back ....but that has to do with oneself ...so donated got my money and now I'm back for more.
I've been donating for 3 months here and the last 2 months there has not been enough vitals lines help, on top of that they have 3 receptionist who could be trained to help out instead of just standing up front wasting time. Management need to address this. ??
Unorganized and unprofessional waited 3 hours not being seen as return donor then when they finally started calling people to be seen they called back people I was in front of for return donors I don't think will be coming back to this site again still waiting 3 in half hours not even to yet be stuck for donation and no updates of how long it will take yet other people that just walked in for new donors were seen before me the process shouldn't be this hard I've been to several facilities octapharma biolife
Best donation place ever! Front desk ladies are fantastic, make you feel comfortable and welcomed.!! Whole process took less than 2hrs first time. Keep up the good work!!
Wait time isn't the best...but staff is friendly and Jocelyn has the magic touch. Didnt even feel it when she poked me. Great job girl!
The staff here should be investigated, observed and monitored CSL we need answers rough and aggressive phlebotomist I've witnessed first hand male staff members yelling at young women in the lobby also checking throats of new donors in the presence of all of us donors this place is odd and unusually weird where is the management or supervision
They have this older gentleman that works in the back that is the most lazy person in this place. Every time he pokes me always fishing in my arm and come to find out he's the Lead of all the phlebotomist.
Went here back to back days and they never took me even though on the phone they said they would. Unprofessional at it's finest don't recommend going here.
It's clean friendly professional and fast service I love going there and no appointments needed
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
