I deleted my previous five star review. This is a review after CSL plasma decided to get these new and ?faster? machines which make everything worse. I have now donated three times with the new machines and the average wait has been 3 hours. The new machines are about 10 minutes faster getting the plasma out but take 15 minutes longer to set up and there are about half the amount of machines. Therefore, your actual wait as a donor is two to three times longer as before. The employees are visibly stressed wi
This rating has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STAFF! They are always under-staffed, but they are great people. MY ISSUE is with the new RIKA machines. They can't be adjusted for pressure like the older ones. I have small veins, but could successfully donate on the older machines which took 40 minutes. Lines were not as bad and wait time was a fraction of what it is now! After waiting 2.5 hours for a donation chair, the thing gave me a bruise and I'm now deferred for 56 days!!! I may not be able to donate again bec
These new machines are killing me. I've showed up at least 3 times, and I'm about to walk out again because everything is moving SO MUCH MORE SLOWLY. The entire building was decorated to the nines for the RIKA rollout, and this is what we get. I usually get out in an hour and a half or less, but it's clear that will never happen again, and that it isn't worth the frustration of donating anymore. Sad
I'm a returning donor & this my 2nd time this week trying to donate at this site . & both times I went to sign up they gave me a hard time . I just moved they asked for my lease and a closed envelope with the address on it . I bring it the next time I go which was 2 days later (today) & the worker tells me I can't return until nov , 2025 . We are in may right now . So I can't return until nov due to an address change or whatever they had going on with my proof of address . It's A JOKE . How you guys need
The scales are inaccurate check your weight before going. In two days I was told I lose ten pounds. Went to next scale gain 5 pounds back. If you're paying by your weight it should be working correctly. Not just here.
Less popular times are listed in green. Now is supposedly green. It's my second donation and have been here 30 minutes without even getting to take the questionnaire. Security guy at front desk keeps saying someone will come right out, but no one has. What is wrong with this place? It's not even busy right now, just full of staff that doesn't actually want to help donors? Been an hour now, still haven't been screened. 1 hr, 15 mins, a fight is starting in the line and the security guard just left to hide in
I love all the staff they always so busy but they do a great job. Megan and Brian in vitals are very good. Shantea takes her time to find my veins (because they are hard to find) and she never miss it...love that.
I attempted to donate today for the first time. I was warned by a friend it would take a while the first time, which it did. All staff was nice. But I was turned away because of my tattoos, apparently they won't even stick a needle through a 4+ month old tattoo so if your elbow ditches are tattooed, don't bother. Not sure how that makes sense, there is nothing on the website or in any of the material they go over ahead of time that said they can't go through a tattoo. I'm really upset, I spent 2.5hrs to the
Bryan, David, Alex, and Edna (I might have butchered her name) have all given excellent service! Lots of the other staff is super friendly, only issue for me is the wait time and the lack of front end staff to service the members more efficiently. At least 3 people should be up front during rush hour times, and the app wait times are misleading some days.
I always have a wonderful time donating. My first time I went my friend had an adverse reaction and the staff was prompt to aid and save my friends life(averse reactions happen and it wasn't the centers fault but they were well prepared and equipped to handle the situation). Every time I come I always feel welcomed and appreciated for the donation especially from Que, Alex, Tianna and Rocky. I love it here and everyone is incredibly professional and personable! I recommend this to anyone for an excellent do
I did my vitals check-in with Bryan and he's the perfect combination of professional, kind, and fun while also being efficient. When I asked him questions he was very informative. You're lucky to have Bryan!
Shonta was amazing she knows her stuff100% she explained the whole set up to me . Very nice spirit, took a liking to her very quickly. Great service thanks queen. Don't know how to do a second review but Bryan was also amazing very upbeat personality , down to earth, makes u comfortable, helps you through process, very consistent keeps checking in on u which I love!!!!
great people work here! David at the reception is always friendly (and usually the person to do my intake), although everyone I encounter is always nice. Bryan is usually leaving for the day as I get there, but he is so funny and personable. The phlebotomists are good, they make sure you're ok as you are getting started. Yes, sometimes there is a wait, depending on what time you arrive. But isn't that anywhere? The staff works hard, I always see them setting up, or cleaning, or backing each other up. I
This is a great place that people can come in and have the opportunity to help someone in need by donating, and also receiving instant payment as soon as your done. Every time I come in the staff makes the process extremely easy and fast. I would like to thank Bryan for being such a great help and for making the process easy.
I've been a donor at this site for over four years at this point. Right off the bat, Alex and Que are phenomenal. Professional, respectful, friendly, and courteous. They're nothing short of amazing. Bryan is skilled at what he does and makes the day go by pleasantly. Honestly I can't think of a staff off the top of my head who wasn't great at their job, at least none that are still employed at the center. If you want to get paid to donate plasma, this is the place. Also, shout-out to Hannah for getting me a
My visit to CSL Plasma in Henrietta, NY was flawless on 6/18/24. Vitals Check went great and my visit only got better when I got to the donation area. Danni welcomed me with her usual smile and hello. She also remembers details like my moving in a few months and how is my pooch doing. She knows how to "personalize" the visit and does it in a genuine and unforced manner. I wish she was my lobotomist every time I visit!
I really appreciate all the staff that work at the Westfall Rd branch, especially Que, Inna and Ashari, just to name a few of the bright professionals that work here. I've always felt safe and valued here, and the consistency of quality service is why I keep coming back and enjoy catching up with staff and other regular donors.
Staff doesn't know what they're doing and they don't know how to read your computer chart they just make up things as they go . Not all just majority of them . Very unprofessional
Lapsed donor here, this time around was such a breeze. Que was so friendly walked me through the process and although this wasn't my first time I learned a few new things thanks to her help! David assisted me as well in the process and the entire staff was pleasant really good vibes here ! Best location if I say so myself !
Everyone always tries to make the process as quick and painless as possible- Que especially goes above and beyond. Always has a smile on her face and is kind with everyone she sees! Even when it's busy, the team have great rapport with one another and stay light hearted.
I absolutely love donating here. Everyone is very helpful , friendly and thorough with thier job. All the workers provide a great atmosphere, but Special Shout Outs to my crew favorites; Alex, Que, David, Maurice, Bryan and Megan !!! ?? ??
They claim efficiency and integrity! Every time I get there, I am waiting an inappropriate amount of time. Two hours this time and I am still waiting. I haven't even started donating! Got here at 12:30 and I probably won't leave until after 4pm! This should not be an all-day process! If I could give ZERO stars, I definitely would!
Kevin was great he always finds the vein on his first try whenever he put the needle in or takes it out it never hurts. He's always patient with his clients. Always ask how you doing. Likes to interact with his clients! Always happy
I really like this facility a lot. The staff has always treated me kindly but one bad apple can spoil the bunch. I came in at 5pm on Thursday, September 12th. The needle was inserted uncomfortably but I don't have an issue with the person who inserted it bc they were not being malicious. However the person who removed the needle was very weird. She didn't say hello to me. She also left me on the machine for 15 minutes after it was done knowingly. The blue light flashes on the machine when you are done. I co
Staff is beyond slow, acts incompetent, much faster at the Greece and Irondequoit locations.
I come to this establishment atleast once a week. Very pleasant staff !! To Shante & Ashari: special thank you to both of these hardworking women. Every experience I have with them is so comforting. Such things should not go unnoticed ;)
Kevin is an absolute hero. I struggle with small veins, but with his wonderful assistance I was in and out in no time. He did extremely well!!!! Thanks so much for having him on your team ????????
I have been going to CSL Plasma at Westfall Rd Henrietta for almost one year. This is the best location to donate plasma at. The staff are very friendly and could not get any better than the employees that work there such as Alex, Bryan, David, Maurice, Tiana, James, Que, and Megan. I respect their hard work and dedication, their warm smiles and patience. So if you ever see them, give them a big thanks!!
Bryan was a pleasure to go through screening with. He was efficient, informative, and had a great attitude. 10/10 would have him stab my finger again.
Go there every week. Great workers. Tiana is so sweet and professional. Hannah is my favorite in the back. Everyone else is great.
Do not expect to come here and be treated like a person, you are cattle. Understaffed, undertrained, disrespectful. I come to this location on the regular out of necessity, which is right where they want you. Expect to wait 2-3 hours with not so much as a "thanks", techs cannot be bothered to give a damn. You need money, so either deal with the subhuman treatment or go screw yourself.
I started going to CSL Plasma in Henrietta, NY about a year ago. There is no ?exact? description when trying to determine whether you receive a great customer experience. But, as someone who was a Regional & District Manager of approximately 25 retail stores for almost 36 years - I have a better understanding than most. More than the business, it's the people that work for that business, that make the biggest impact on the customer. I want to say that CSL Plasma is very fortunate to have Dani as part of
I have been going to CSL for almost 3 years now and I have had several people help me with giving plasma but by far Kevin has always been very helpful to much self or many other people as well, I have had several bad experiences with techs also but I can always say Kevin always goes above and beyond to make sure I have the best experience and I rarely even feel the needle being inserted into my vein I like Kevin so much I even changed locations to continue with him helping me draw my plasma and a lot of ot
The center is good and the staff is very competent and professional. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter when you get there, there will be always a long wait (2 hours) either in the line or at the donation area. I believe they are understaffed and I would love if they could hire more people.
Excellent experience so far at this center, the staff has been attentive and considerate in all of my interactions and observations. Wait times can run long depending on time/day due to staffing but that's every center, at least here the staff works hard with kindness to get you through.
Employee here will take their personal problems out on donors... Some people there are nice, but not enough. Little petty action make you feel targeted or comfortable... Employee who do they're job with no problem suddenly forget when they are upset... But act as if you have attitude... If you question their ability... But you missed up right? Just remember it's the plasma center... There's accolades in being mean... Let me chill before I get honest.
UPDATE: STAFF HAS BEEN RECENTLY HANDING OUT GOOGLE REVIEW CARDS AND BEGGING PEOPLE TO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS BECAUSE OF HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THEY HAVE. IF YOU SEE A REVIEW THAT MENTIONS SOMEONE?S NAME, IT?S FAKE. I wish I could give a higher review because while most of the staff is very kind and without a doubt capable at their jobs, this location is constantly severely understaffed and is wildly inconsiderate when it comes to serving donors in a timely manner. If you even ask for an estimated time, they'll ro
So I've been going to CSL in Rochester ny on Westfall road since October . Since the beginning I've been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism from everyone . Ashari, Kiki , Rocky ,Mel , Kyle , Alex and Que ( sorry if I missed anyone but I don't remember a lot of names ) and pretty much everyone there is so nice and helpful . They actually care about their donors and try to help us in every way they can . I donate twice a week and it's a great experience. Thank you all at CSL for what you do
This location is always so understaffed, it's frustrating. There's almost always only 1 person at the front, even if it gets super busy. And a lot of times that person gets pulled away periodically. Sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes just to get through the first check-in/vitals/testing phase. I feel bad for the staff. They're efficient and very nice. It's just frustrating when a trip there takes 2 hours.
Everyone at the CSL in Henrietta are very friendly and extremely knowledge at what they do. Shout out to Bryan who always has a smile on his face and makes the prescreening process fun. My only suggestion would be to have the opportunity to schedule your appointments. To prevent "no shows" enforce the one and done policy. If an appt is missed, and no call in to advise, eliminate them from ever making appointments again. Thanks to the amazing staff for the wonderful job they do!
If you come here when they start taking people at 7 am, they are never set up. They have to wait for systems to boot up and then sign into systems. If other businesses did that, they would lose money. I have no idea why they don't set up stuff the night before or sign into machines earlier. The machines that are used to check you in, the screens are blurry, and the finger scanners are dirty and pushed down that it won't read the fingerprint. The application that is used on cell phones won't let you chang
The staff here is awesome! David at vital check in, Kevin who sticks you, sets you up to donate, Zorey a nurse! Good at there jobs, caring and funny to boot!
The staff at the Westfall Rd. location were great, friendly, up-beat and professional. Unfortunatly I wasnt able to donate at this time due to a recent surgery, so I'll have to wait and see them later this yr.
They're very welcoming and friendly. However I must change this after experiencing CSL in Greece, this CSL is a joke. Long line with one or two staff out of 6 booths. This is very slow. We have things to do and we can't be stuck here for 2 hours. It's ridiculous.
The biggest problem with this site is the slowness of the employees and the disregard for peoples time. They often leave the check-in line when multiple people are waiting and will have conversations with other workers.
I'd like to express my gratitude and appreciation for Tianna (in the check-in side of the facility) and Mel from the donor floor. Both are extremely competent, friendly and make the process so much easier, even when lines are long and tension (mostly from donors) are high. They hold up to the stress with grace. Please pass along my thanks!!!!!
Danielle ?Danni? is a sweetheart! She makes my trip to the Donation center Worth every minute! She's efficient and hard working! If she doesn't get a promotion she definitely deserves a raise! Thank you Danni for making my donation experience worth while!
I found my center to be very clean and safe the staff is super friendly and helpful when You Walk in music is playing and the staff is greeting you with a smile and a hello, you might catch one of the staff singing along. Also my center gets into the holiday spirit with beautiful decorations I enjoy knowing I can help many people, that can benefit from plasma donation.
Kevin is a genuine individual. Personable, professional, and passionate about the people. His level of integrity is amazing, and I look forward to seeing him again.
Kevin is THE BEST !!! So nice and thoughtful of his clients always makes sure they feel comfortable and handles everyone with care !!
Today was one of the best visits I've had in awhile. Rocky assisted me with with great conversation and the best service definitely brightened my day.
Que did my intake today and she was so friendly and did an excellent job! I hope she's my tech the next time I'm in. Great sense of humor, pleasant, and efficient!
Today was super busy because staff was training on the new machines. Danni and Hannah at the Westfall location were working their tails off and I commend them for their patience, professionalism and dedication to getting every donor through as quick as possible.
Kevin is Absolutely the best Best there is at what he does for the CSL company I only wish you guy had 10 more of him he's very friendly and is very knowledgeable about his work..... 100 stars
In my opinion, E. Henrietta is the best collection site in the city. Immaculate customer service, very polite an respectful individuals working here especially Sonya and Rocky. They lead the industry standards in what should be at every donation site.
So this place is a complete joke I drove 100 miles one way to be told I wasn't on their zip code list. So beware better call them and check cause they only take certain zip codes. They advertise that they are in dire need yet turn people away. I was beyond mad ??
Bryan was amazing kind and even has a little bit of a comedian in him it was really nice
Tiana is always terrific when I get her as my intake person. She is very friendly, efficient and always asks how my day is.
I wish ppl who detest having to deal with the public, would find a new line of work because especially, in a medical setting type place like this where THEY'RE asking others to donate something as precious as blood/plasma, behaving respectful is very important and it doesn't matter if clients get paid or not....a professional demeanor is always appreciated. Not only are some of the staff here rude but when my husband visited this morning, they were more interested in trying to detour him from staying or ret
Where do I start, I waited several months to write a review! I dread coming because of extremely long lines, and the select few bad people that shouldn't be sticking anyone.. they can't find a vein in a good arm find a vein in a good arm no matter how hydrated they are... they aggravation and frustration we endure and time spent we are grossly undercompensated and im sure the best staff that work are too underpaid as well... Come on CSL this place is slowly steering me away and . I guess it's a good thing
The staff likes to look at their phones and stand around talking more than they like to keep the line moving.
Super slow multiple employees on floor they all look miserable and sad like they don't wanna be here been in line for an hr with three people. Watched them remove 6 people from machine without re setting them up workers just walking around not servicing donors terrible place bring the old team back or get a whole new staff?
As stated by multiple other reviews this location is always understaffed. The last few times I called before I headed over and told there was sufficient staffing only to still have to wait 30 to 45 minutes after I arrived.
CSL is a great way to make a little extra cash. All the staff at the Westfall location are great, very professional and nice to talk to!
This location never seems to be open when they say they are. They changed their hours from closing at 6pm to closing at 3pm the entire month of January 2022. Then, after already shaving 3 hours off of their time (already making it difficult to go to there when open) they are closed early today due to ?cleaning? that is so unprofessional. You're telling me after cutting 3 hours off your schedule you need to close early again for ?cleaning?!?? That is completely absurd! I don't have a car so after taking 2 bu
I really like this place. Everyone is so friendly. Kevin is a wonderful tech person very nice and friendly such a wonderful person
Hanna was so attentive and help full she was well trained and able to answer all of my questions and address my concerns by far one of the best flabotamist I've ever had tthank you to her and the other amazing employees at Csl plasma
I'm new at this and Sonya was very kind and helpful? not to mention very knowledgeable?. Now when I come in and I see her it's a very welcome sign? ty Sonya for all the kindness and understanding and your smiles
Always pleasant. The nurses are great and very professional and gracious. You can help people by donating and also make a little extra money on the side. Just make sure you have eaten and drank enough food and water cause you may feel a little dizzy afterwards. Also if your levels are not at a certain level you cannot donate. Any questions please ask.
Great experience Monica was the best she made me feel welcomed and at ease with great Facility and staff
Bryan gets the job done!! I be happy when I see him working,he really moves the line 5 stars for Bryan
Innka, Brian and Kiki were all super helpful, With really nice personalities , creating a very friendly environment! You guys all work really hard and it was truly a pleasure to meet all of you! Slava ukraini ????????????
UPDATE: 6/4/22 For those of you who saw my previous review, forgive me! I have deleted the review because it was written out of frustration. Which is not right. And completely wrong on my behalf. If the reasoning of not having my crossbody or any other weighted item had been explained to me I believe the situation would have turned out differently. I spoke to the manager on today. Who took the time to explain the ?why?. That gave me a totally different outlook and the injuries I could have caused to myself.
BRYAN was very helpful, professional and considerate helped me get in and out really appreciate him cause I'm impatient.
They will violate your hipa rights infront of everyone be prepared!
Went for my first donation at 7am on a weekday figuring it would not be too busy. I was there for two hours and didn't get to the plasma donation aspect, so I ended up being late to work with no pay for my time. Although the front desk and security employees were kind, the screening portion took unnecessarily long due to very slow typing, and the phlebotomist who examined my veins was somewhat impolite, criticizing my vegetarian diet and talking about me to other staff as if I was not there. To me, this bus
It's been very understaffed, and the staff on hand can be very rude. It can take hours just to get through vital check, and they move slow on purpose because they don't want to be here. It's very unfortunate, and they lose business every day.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and safe. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because lines and wait times can be long at times due to staff shortage.
Que at the Westfall CSL was very personable and really knew her stuff. Made me feel very comfortable for my first donation.
Had a horrible experience most of this week my first experience was I was waiting patiently online and one of the other donors was crowding my space I told someone that works there about it they didn't really do much and then the guy coughed on me but then the one guy in front of me let me cut him so I didn't have to deal with the other guy and then there was this other donor she was a female and she got all mad because the one guy let me cut them so that I didn't have to deal with the other guy and then al
Bryan was a pleasure and helped ease my nerves about donating because it was my second time. Thank you again!
Dealt with care and patience Que and Maurice were great during my visit today at the Henreitta location in Rochester
I have gone to West fall Plasma for years. They do a phenomenal job! Their job is very hectic and challenging but they make it a fun, and cheery atmosphere. I look forward to giving 2 times per week. Sometimes there can be a wait line but that happens anywhere. It's not like there is an opportunity for a do it yourself line like in the grocery stores now lol. Giving plasma is one of the joys of my life. I look forward to seeing the staff at West fall. They rock always!
She rocks more than pippi longstockings !!! She can stick me any time. Thanks Hannah for being awesome !!??
The lab is clean and well organized, with new equipment. All of the staff is particularly friendly and efficient. They explain everything thoroughly and answer any question at all.
Super clean and courteous staff. Que was especially awesome and made the whole process enjoyable!

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
