I was so surprised. I interacted with several staff members & they were wonderfully professional & comforting. You need not worry. These are caring compassionate folks
I have been donating plasma at CSL for a couple of years and never had a problem until recently. On March 4th I had an annual physical and was given two vaccine shots. One was for shingles and the other was for Hepatitis B. I went to my local CSL to donate on my regular day and I forgot to answer yes that I have recently was given a vaccine. I donated as usual and went back a couple of days later to give my second donation for the week. However, I could not check in. I went to the front desk and was instr
Everyone seems really nice, but I've never donated before. Blood pressure a lil too high 3 days ago. Today, pulse high, but there was a lady screaming that she's getting her lawyer & God knows what else. Finally, they allow retakes for these issues & give you a time to come back in 10-15 mins but for some reason there's an employee that must not think we can read the little orange slip & she's in quite a hurry to get ppl retested again, it matters not if they pass or fail lol. so another minute or two & my
CSL says that they strive for excellence and they save hundreds thousands lives. But they also are putting the ones who are donating lives in danger by not changing there gloves they said it's not policy that they have to unless asked. They deal with all different walks of life of people you are dealing with blood regardless if you don't see blood on your gloves you think it ok not to. This is unsafe for donors and Potentially whom ever that is receiving the plasma. Can you imagine going
As a new donor, I found the vetting process efficient and informational. I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and caring everyone was. Specifically, Brandi and her team on the donor floor were phenomenal. From my perspective, I could tell that Brandi was such a good leader and her team respected her. They treated me with respect and it was a seamless process.
Always a good experience. Everyone is nice and so a thorough job. John also has the gentlest touch ever putting the needle in. 100% recommend coming here for plasma donation!
Today was my 2nd time donating as a returning donor, & I was in and out thanks to John. He's 1 of the best stickers there & I highly recommend him. CSL definitely needs to give him a raise because he never disappoints!!
My experience today was perfect. Johnathan was really very helpful with my donation process. He deserves a big azz raise and I appalled that this hard working guy hasn't been given his due yet. Have a blessed day
When I went to the center just now, I was informed I had been hit with a 14-day deferral due to having too high of a pulse the last three times I attempted to donate. I was not told of this after my third failure, nor had I ever been warned that this was CSL's policy. Had I been warned, I would have worked on lowering my heart rate before making another attempt. The nurse had no answer as to why I was kept in the dark, nor as to why the app told me that I was eligible to donate today. She was not even the s
Very nice place, people are lovely at vitals and through the donation process. I ADORE the donor360 thing as well, helps to cut down on wait times. The only thing is I think they need to up their price that donors receive as prices are increasing everywhere! On everything! Also, question: Does CSL offer birthday bonuses? They should! Mines this month. It should be automatic, if they do it.
Everyone was very welcoming. I wasn't a new donor, but I hadn't donated in over 3 years, so I had to go through the whole process of a new donor all over again and they walked me through every step. When I got into the donor lounge, everyone there was friendly and very competent. I have to admit, I have not been to any other donation center, but I would highly recommend CSL.
Been going little over 2 years, always had good experiences, sometimes it can be a line n waiting to get check or just wait to get called for your bed, as far as the ladies or fellas hook you up to machine, rather quickly n donating is very simple! I'm happy with the staff here n keep going! Thank you CSL for what yall do!
Most of the staff are decent folks, and the monetary compensation is decent. But that's negated by the fact there's way to many people who are too quick to deffer people over little things. You can't even seek help with addiction without being differed for 4 months. Standard hospitalization and incarceration is understandable but 4 months for seeking help?!
I'm updating my review because I feel I was unfair. After all, this place is helping me accomplish my charitable goals for my community, for Christmas this year. I will say the staff were way nicer this last time I went. (I've only been twice) The nurses not so much. But everyone else was great. It's a place, that overall I would recommend, as I feel more good than bad is the outcome. I think we can all agree nobody likes being talked down to or patronized, maybe their nurses just need more training they la
Brittany T is the best. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable
Pretty bad place. They'll give you a hematoma by having untrained employees draw your plasma who keep turning the machine back on despite burning sensations and warnings on the machine and do nothing about it whatsoever besides call you. Ive been unable to use my arm fully for the past week so far now, since it hurts to flex it. Edit: ive already talked to your employees. My arm got messed up and I can't even get an extension to my new donor bonus, even though i cant complete it because my arm is too messed
Though I not comfortable in making a public comment on bulletin boards similar to this one. Granted this location has had some turnover of staff; yet in this facility?s defense?what location of this company hasn't experienced it? Rarely do I have cringeworthy interactions with the staff. I've noticed a recent decline hearing a staff member occasionally saying: ?How are you doing (today)?? to any donor or other pertinent sentence when the donation of any person has finished. I understand the donor floor staf
Everyone was very nice and helpful-but if you have a severe allergy to latex you are not allowed to donate-it is a permanent deferral.
My husband loves it hear there very respect he clock in own his phone and he dose his vitals when there done now they take him to a bed it takes about 45 minutes to one hour and he done. And he only. Had to wait a little longer one time but he understood why you have to wait until a bed is free to go to the back. Over all there very clean. There rest room are very clean and the back is cold. So if your cold natured you may won't to bring yourself a blanket to keep somewhat warm same for there waiting ro
When I first started donating, csl was a great place to go. They were very understanding and considerate and I came for years. I'm not sure what changed(I believe it was a change in management) but the experience has completely gone downhill for me. And today I find that I've been permanently banned from donating here due to 'small veins' when before the shift I very rarely had an issue. I donated for literal years here and it's just been a slap in the face to be kicked out over something so silly. If you a
I'm so nervous when it comes to needles but John made me feel really safe and it didn't hurt one bit, he was super sweet and nice, he made the process much easier for me, thank you John!
Each and every employee is warm welcoming. I have been going here for years and haven't had a bad experience. They work very professionally and time efficient with each donor from what I observed.
I will no longer be returning to CSL Plasma. After years of donating, I was told after stepping out to Crack my back for about 15 seconds I'd no longer be allowed to donate. When I questioned this policy I was told that it didn't have to be disclosed nor prived to me for the safety of the employees. While I understand a policy like this may be in place in order to protect the staff; why is it being enforced if it doesn't have to be disclosed? I will not be returning, nor will my review be changed. The emp
This CSL features hard-working and expeditious phlebotomists. They always have positive attitudes even though it's easy to see they are a little short-staffed. Even with a full house they move people in and out quickly. I've never had less than a professional experience when I come here. Just wish the payout was more lucrative.
The few staff they have are great! friendly but overworked. What used to take 1.5 hours now easily takes 3 hours. It appears to me that management is the issue. Hire people that wont stay, crazy bad and scheduling hours, corporate is constantly there to oversee but still dont do anything to improve the process. If you dont have good managers you wont have good employees.
Staff is great, but not enough of them. It shouldn't take 2 hours and 30 minutes to be processed through from start to finish. I try to be a faithful donor but I sure do not feel valued as a donor. Again staff are great, they are friendly and do their jobs well.
I was a little skeptical, I still walked in and I'm glad I did. They made me feel relaxed and safe. Clean and respectful. They answered all of my questions to set me at ease. I'm glad I chose to go to csl plasma
Love going here! My mom and I have been going twice a week, every week all year (so far), and we love it. The people are courteous and caring, and make your visit a pleasant one. I can't see myself going to any other centers now!
I have been coming to CSL Rock Hill since August 2018 and have really enjoyed my experience there. The reception and phlebotomy staff is friendly and competent. They have competitive payout and awesome bonuses/prizes. It is good to go in twice a week and find pretty much the same people, both employees and donors. For me, it is impressive they have a 100% stick rate on veins hospitals can't even get in my arm. Way to go CSL!
The staff here is amazing. All the phlebotomists on the donor floor do a great job despite being understaffed and overworked. The staff all knows me which makes it a very pleasant experience to help patients who need plasma and to make some extra money.
The Staff is excellent and very friendly an like joke around and most of the girls that work the donor floor are very good at making the experience a pleasant one. Never too crowded. I'm usually in and out within an hour to 90 minutes, especially when I go in the morning when I get off work or the at the last minute
It's ok. You have your ones that are here just for the job and do not see you as human and then others that will have a conversation with you and treat you like someone. It has been a known fact that some think the only reason that the people go in here is to get drug money and that is not true.
I've driven about an hour twice a week since August 2018 to donate plasma at CSL in Rock Hill. I always look forward to donation days! I've never had a negative experience with any part of the process, and I've always been warmly greeted by the staff who do their best to make the hour visit as pleasant as possible - even during busy and short staffed periods. I've met some amazing people and made some good friends along the way. There are some real gems employed there and I hope Management knows that.
Called before going as directed on website because I was a first time donor. The woman on the phone was very nice and explained everything and told me no appointment was necessary and to head on down. Drove 45 minutes to get there and then they tell me that they don't have anyone that is able to give the physical. They said I could wait but had no idea how long the wait would be or when the next person would be in to do the physical. I waited 30 minutes before realizing I was just wasting my time. End
I find absolutely unfair that people can hold on to fast passes and jump not one but 2 lines. I also find it absolutely unprofessional for your employees to be talking with each other while there are over 30 people waiting to get vitals done. This place has gone down hill and fast. Maybe instead of your employees starting rumors Amongst themselves and starting drama they could actually have a good work ethic. DO BETTER!
Check in staff and floor staff are very nice. But they are always understaffed. The wait times in line are normally very close to the time in the chair to actually donate the plasma. 10/1/2021. Got here at 10 AM. Checked-in in 35 minutes but not one of the 20 plus people in front of me that were already have been check-in have been seated to give plasma in now 62 minutes. Short staffed! I like the staff that serves me but there just isn't enouh of them. Don't believe the APP as it says that coming at
I'm always out within 1 hour. Lines are short. Vital checks are quick. I donate rather quick (45 minutes normally) then they come over (almost) Immediately and unhook the machine and send me on my way and ALWAYS thank me. There have been a few times that they can't find my veins and that's a little painful but normally it's painless. Nice way to make extra cash as a stay at home mother.
I've been donating 2 times a week at this location for almost 5 years now. I wouldn't dream of going to another location despite a new one opening recently closer to my home. The staff is friendly and well-trained and every donation is a pleasure. They operate efficiently and do everything possible to make my experience easy and comfortable. I cannot recommend CSL Plasma on Cherry Road any more highly.
First time donor. The nurse never showed up for her shift and they said they were understaffed. There was a nurse here but management told them not to take new donors until the replacement came. Been waiting for like 2 hours now. No one even checks in on you to see if you need help. At least the staff are respectful and not rude. The company needa to do better.
Great employees! great experience! Employee Jonathan went above and beyond real down to earth guy everyone is great but ask for jonathan!!
They get you in and get your vitals checked pretty quickly. Once you actually get over to the bays though thats when the wait takes forever! I have gotten a spot before and laid there over an hour just waiting to be hooked up. Its really aggravating and makes me not wanna go back when I'm in there for hours. Its not really worth $40 if you are in there for 4 or 5 hours. They really need some help in there. But everywhere seems to be in need of help right now.
They are criminally unorganized. I had once finished my donation, waiting to be unhooked from the needle, and 5 other people finished after me. Not only should 6 of us not have been done at the same time, but the 2 techs who finally came after 10 minutes started unhooking people in whatever order they felt like, not who was done first. I even said something to one of them, that I had been done first and waiting forever, and she admitted to just unhooking whoever first because she didn't know who was done fi
The people are usually friendly but unprofessional. It is now 0650 and there is a line forming outside, even though they are supposed to open at 0630. We see staff sitting in the lounge eating and drinking coffee. This is how they get so backed up and it only gets worse as the day progresses. They need to value their donors!
MOST OF THE STAFF IS NICE BUT NOT ALL Other than that the place is a joke and a mess, I stopped going after almost 3yrs of donating because I had 3 people try to get my needle right but the first 2 messed me up so bad my Arm hasn't been the same since. I now deal with this random pain in my left arm between my elbow and where they normally put the needle in and after all that screw up with the new workers and my needle the 3rd staff member wanted me to apologize to the. Lol yea that was it for ME, GRIFOLS
This place is a joke and it's only gotten worse. All the employees treat the job like social hour and nothing runs as it should. I've been waiting a month for "test results" to come in so I can donate but I'll never know when it is possible again since they leave their phone disconnected or just forward you without ever attempting to answer a question. It's quite literally nothing but incompetent young women who work in this place and use it as an excuse to goof off.
I would not recommend this center to anyone. If you want to donate then go to Grifols right on the corner because they defer people for no reason and said it was because i didn't follow directions. This is not a school and they are not my parents. The only directions i have to follow in there is the directions for the donation process and to be respectful which i did. They deferred me and had no valid reason. Im a quiet person and dont bother anyone so if you actually need the money then go to Grifols becau
I gave Plasma for the first time in 25 years here. They were polite and professional and everything went very smoothly. I went at a time when I wasn't in a rush and expected it to take 3 hours. I was done with everything in about 2 hours. I plan to give twice a week and it feels good knowing that I may be helping to save lives. The extra money I will make from giving doesn't hurt my feelings either.
Nice place. Best time to come is early mornings especially when Katie works seems like it flows better when she's at work. Weather a long line or not Katie to me really makes a difference when she's on schedule to work the days I donate.
Horrible place. Employees make fun of the customers to the other employees. And are loud . kinda makes you forget your in a actual business. Please note, ladies on the donating floor don't act the same way. Well at least if they do, they don't do it in front of everybody. Only the non kids upfront like to show out when it's the end of the day and it's banana time. A white staff would never get away with that without there being lawsuits and employee terminations. Spend a couple hours up front in CSL, and yo
This place is awful. Went there to see about donating. Will never go back. This was the second time I had been there. The first time was to get information regarding plasma donation. The lady said you need photo id, social security card and proof of residence. I asked her if she could give me more info regarding the process, she said when you come back with your information and walked off. I went today, the staff is very unprofessional, the lady asked me why I was there, I told her I wanted to st
This was my third attempt to go in today because my pulse is always high. Due to my anxiety my pulse can get High when they stick me with a needle. I asked for 15 minute wait well actually I asked for 20-minute wait they told me they could always give me 15. When I sat down my time said 10 minutes. Which I asked for 15 when I went back to check my pulse rate again it was 91 so I should have been able to donate. Instead they send me to the doctor who tells me I have to come back with a doctor's note because
I have always had a great experience at CSL. Even though sometimes the lines may be long, they are quick to react and get you in and out as quick as possible. The staff is really friendly with everyone. They are top notch!
This place is absolutely the worst. I donated at another center before switching to CSL plasma due to relocation and every single time I go inside there is an issue. Ive been 3 times and have been deferred twice. I have never had this many issues at the last center i was donating at. Please do your research before stepping foot in there. I know for a fact that people do drugs and drink before going inside, and they let these individuals right through. Some of them even stand outside the door doing the
At the moment 1 star due to been waiting 2 weeks and can't donate because they haven't gotten my results back! Why after 2 weeks are we still waiting and this hurts me cause I need the money for my family! 12/9/22: still 1 star I come in cause they need a sample and I would be paid and so I came and never received payment and was told I would receive compensation but haven't and now they ask me to come give another sample! Will I get paid this time????
Johnathan does an amazing job. Sticks very quick yet gentle. 10/10 the best
Ive been donating plasma with CSL for about 4 years now. I only tried one other company & I was very displeased, so back to CSL I went. Ive never had an issue here, screeners could be a little more friendly & a better sense of urgency in my opinion, but 2 girls (Sydney & Chanel) that work the donor floor are THE BEST! They are the only ones I like to get me settled in & they give me my countdown (as they're sticking me) without having to ask. Thanks CSL
Worst experience of my life. Thanks for making me wait 2 hrs for nothing just to tell me a cigarette burn on my arm denied me. It ain't a open wound. It healed. Worst place ever. Just letting everyone know. Do not go here. It's ridiculous I don't do drugs I have no track marks I work my ass off on a daily. I tried to help by they denied, shows what kind've good people they are.
LMy husband and I donated tonight and there was no issue with my pay, it was on immediately. His was NOT, his purchase was declined so we made our way back to CSL and the lady stated she has paid him and he had spent $49, he explained it was DECLINED FOR $49!! She went and got a man who stated "there was nothing they could do"! Excuse me??? We just wasted a hour and a half NOT TO GET PAID? THEY CUT UP OLD CARD ISSUDE A NEW ONE AND THE $7 HE HAD PRIOR TO DONATING TRANSFERRED BUT THE $55 DID NOT AND WE CAN'T
Brenisha was so helpful today with my donation. I was so impressed with the fact that she has only been with cls for 6 months. She needs to be praised for her professionalism. She makes visits at csl a wonderful experience.
Friendly staff, new machines that cause my donation time to only be about 30 minutes. I recommend them.
The employees are professional yet friendly . CSL Rock Hill has been a blessing for my family and a wonderful source of extra income . I would recommend to all I know as a great way to earn extra income without having a second job.
Went there to donate for the first time I had something special planned for my Marine sons Birthday. stood around for an hour I was finally told it would be two hours before they would even talk to me , I guess I wont worry about donating ever again , not a good experience at all after driving 45 minutes to get there
The man scotty that he saw a blue substance in my nose?? I work a professional job just and get drug tested. I will say everyone was very nice but I personally believe that I was being lied to because it was 6:12 and there was staff leaving . They close at 7. I think they did not want any new developments donors at late night . I could be wrong but I had my uncle, A doctor look in my nose . He said he saw nothing what so ever and there should have been no reason I couldn't give a donation.
Friendly staff, clean place, but after 2 hours of test and questions i was turned away because i have a prescription for tramadol. Never mind I dont take them. Never once in any of the paperwork did it state that you cant have a current scription for any narcotic. Guess i should be like the junkies and lie!!! Made me feel like i was only there to get drug money.
From the one person I experienced there she was lazy and rude. Maybe you'll get lucky to have someone not talk down to you. Good luck.
Normally my veins are very difficult but I had a great experience today thanks to Xyon. I hope your boss sees this and gives you a raise; you deserve it sir. Six stars.
Usually pretty fast! The employees make you feel comfortable and they're nice to talk to! Love coming here to help people and make some extra money!
Staff is professional, wait time is bearable, and some days you're in and out without skipping a beat. If you want to donate and be treated with courtesy and respect, this is the place to go.
Tried to rip me off with paying me less than what was promised. New donors get $75 - $50 per donation and tried to pay me only $22. Unacceptable!!! Giving the excuse that new donations have to be done within 21 days. Donators should not be rushed ( given a timeframe) to give donations. We are donating to save lives and should be valued for this purpose. Not treated like you are doing us a favor. Start valuing your donors. Oh and another thing, we should not be penalized for answering a question wrong on th
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I have been going thru csl for almost eleven years now starting at centre ave in Charlotte, and now attending at the rock hill location. Like any family and relationship, there will be ups and downs. Thankfully more ups than downs. But watching the company grow has inspired me. So for the last 2yrs I have been taking every penny from donations and invested into a business of my own. So not only are the donors making a diff
Always enjoy coming here. I like the set pay schedule and amounts now vs the different promotions each month. The more you come the more you and the staff get to know each other, the better the experience.
Great staff, clean facility?wonderful place to donate! Donation area is very cool, so if you get cold easily, bring a blanket/hoodie while donating!
Staff is extremely nice but slow most of the time. I've been sitting in the chair waiting for them to put the needle in my arm for 1 hour now and it seems like I'm going to be waiting another hour
Had a fabulous time with Lacey Robinson today. Although, she needs to work on her people skills a bit. Kind of lowered my self esteem......lol! Just kidding. Keep up the good work and that pretty smile!
Absolutely the worse place to go. I spent almost 3 hours in this place giving all my personal information and taking a series of questions. One of which was if I took beef or bovine insulin, which I do not. I am a diebetic, but do not take these insulins. Then just before I get to the point of donating, I'm taken into a small office and asked about my insulin. I stated that I take insulin, but not beef or bovine. Now this young lady proceeded to tell me I was not qualified to donate, but if I ever stop taki
Nice place!!! Nice clean and very experienced staff!!! Trying to help my fellow men in need of plasma! Good feeling wen you can help!!!??
This is the best place to donate plasma. The staff is always friendly, outgoing, helpful, and pleasant. Donating plasma is a positive service to the community, and the staff at CSL make it so easy! Keep up the great team spirit!
OK first observation. When calling their number. And trying to connect with the operator. To ask a simple question. About the ability to donate this location if I donate on a location on Central Avenue in my town. It seems like someone on the other end is hanging up intentionally. But I could be wrong everyone have a wonderful day.
I had a great experience at CSL Plasma. Everything was clearly explained to me, they were well-staffed, and everyone was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be coming back!
Tried to go here for the first time and waisted my time, 2 hours for nothing. I'll go elsewhere do donate.
I've been donating for over a year and I actually look forward to it twice a week. The staff is great and it means a lot knowing that I am helping people by just giving up an hour of my time.
I love going here. I come twice a week and everyone is real friendly and nice. They make you at ease and help you in every way they possibly can.
Staff is always friendly and professional.the process never takes too long even when the place is packed.
Haven't been able to give plasma for like 3 months going somewhere else in the morning
This is my author name :) My real name Is Jennifer Lucas. I like the atmosphere there. I have gotten to know a lot of staff and they are really friendly
Short staffed so it does take 2 hours or more to donate. I have only been to this facility so I have no comparison though I was told all visits would take an hour. I felt like I was left on the machine after completing.
6/14/18 I waited again for over 30 minutes because the blood suckers were too busy talking to each other!!! People came in way after me left before I got stuck!! This place is getting WORSE!!Had to wait over 30 minutes to get stuck because the phlebotomist messed the machine up!!!! I give twice a week for almost 2 years and I've been very unsatisfied with the service recently! Please review!!
The wait here has gotten horrible and staffing of prep is in-knowledgable meaning some of the new tech do not know how to stick you and cause harm to your vein. Yet the company keeps them on the floor.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
