Really understaffed. It would have been nice to be notified when I was transferred. I'm from out of state and didn't think it was going to be that way based on prior experiences with this location. But, I know to be here before 6am to get it out of the way due to my average schedule. The main reason for my two star rating is because of the lack of communication between staff and clients.

Husband went Saturday like he has done for quite sometime. Days for him were Friday and Saturday. Went Friday with no problems and goes back on his scheduled day. Was told his protein was not at appropriate level but was the same on Friday and he DONATED. But not able to donate on Saturday even though it was same LEVEL. Was told they could check it out and come back in 7 to 10 days to try again. Got up walked out - I'M DONE! WOW

I was given a pass to go to the front of the line and when I was in the front of the line the whole time I was being harassed by another donor that was behind me making me feel uncomfortable and afraid for my safety he was making racial comments to me and I don't appreciate that I told the manager on the floor and she said she would speak with him but she did not and I don't like to be lied to if you guys want me to come back you're going to have to make the incentive better or put me at the front of the li

It was a nice experience at first. Until they deferred me multiple times and by the time I was allowed to donate i was past my promotional period, and all they did was give me day 2 promotion when i finally donated. They refuse to honor the rest of the promotion even though they're the ones that held me up from donating. Had a similar experience with biolife except they extended my promotion period and honored ALL of my promotional visits even past the period. This is not how you treat people, like they are

It's hard for me to come on here and write a bad review, but today I went to CSL and felt completely embarrassed by staff, I went through the new donor stuff, the video was just fine, got to the screening and the screening was just about fine till they person who was supervising the tech (training I guess) left and told her to go get her for the next part of the screening. She did go get the supervisor(I'm guessing that's who it was) and then we waited for about 15ish minutes just to find out she ended up g

They are very helpful and they are really nice. I have been more than once and they are very professional staff. They may have fun a little but it is in everyone?s nature to have a little fun at work. I really appreciate the staff at CSL PLASMA ROCKFORD

Came in at 8:30am and won't see the bed until 11:30 is insane we should be paid for our time and they got new machine like 4 weeks ago and still take 3 hours just to get in the back just shut this place down or hire more workers it should never be just 3 workers in the back it should be like 6 or 7 workers at all times but I guess they don't have people that actually want to work here there new machines cost 45k-65k and it takes longer than the old machines just not how you run a billon dollar company ?????

Look... you can complain if you want, but bottom line, you get money in less than 2 hours for whatever. Can't beat it. Staff is nice if you are. Come in with an attitude and expect it back. I've been there over 50 times in 2024 without a single mishap.

Half the time you'll be waiting in line for 1-2 hours and the other half is almost a walkthrough. The staff seem like they have friendly relationships with the regular donors. But they are currently understaffed, I even heard one employee saying they need a few weeks off otherwise they'll have to quit. Otherwise compared to Biolife it's about the same.

Nice workers and clean place...but the waiting part is the hardest of it all...the payment can be more... But other than the waiting and the money it is nice...

Some of the reviews on here are totally out there ! Been there about a 3 years now, some food for thought: 1. It can get really busy, staff works as fast as they can, but are constantly having to answer the phone and help people, if just half of the people that call could remember their donation days it would help so much. Remember you can donate 2x in a 7 day period, you can always come in a day after your regular donation day but not before. Then your donation days will change as well. Pay week runs Monda

They thought I was drunk or on drugs because I had a brain injury, that was before Dr. Rob. Dr. Rob is cool but has ignorant staff. I forget her name, but she also was discriminatory about my psoriasis and said it looked like chicken pox. Go to Beloit CSL if you can, much better, and they care more.

It was a great experience all the staff were friendly and courteous donating went smoothly and didn't even feel the needle go in!

The staff are pretty nice The only thing I have a problem with is the long line you'll be in line for two or three hours before you even get to the back and it's kind of ridiculous

From reading these reviews seems like it's just an automated process they don't really care about you

I don't have anything nice to say about this place and it's staff. Former employee so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Be careful if you decide to donate here please.

You need more screeners. It shouldn't take me HOURS to get seated. Act like you give a shit. Hire more people or cross train everybody. There's too many workers just standing around.

Place is so amazing and the staff is so professional they almost get 2 stars. They deleted my last review about them blowing my vein out. They doordash food all day and never tip. Place is trash as are the majority of the employees. Do better. Be better.

I had a great experience as always! Fayth is Absolutely Awesome! She's very caring and gentle. She's very knowledgeable and her technique is so great, that I didn't even know when she poked me I felt nothing. My first time back, I had no flow happening so often so I had to switch to my left arm and she knew what to do immediately. She said you can't wait too long when switching arms or it won't work properly. I appreciate your help Fayth! The tecs I've had are wonderful! I appreciate everyone's kindness an

It wasn't bad once you go through all the bull to get back there but once you get back there it seems to go by pretty fast

Worst Plasma place in Rockford..... nothing works from check in scanner to the plasma machines. BIOLIFE IS THE WAY TO GOO

Usually I have a pretty decent experience donating here. But I took a while long break from coming here. So now I come here for my "new donor" pay. Yesterday I went to donate around 2:40 ish it wasn't that busy. I understand that things have changed the have new prick your finger tools that are more stronger. I realized that my first time returning. My finger never bruised I donated twice both time finger never bruised. Didn't really have much pain after an hour. Well yesterday the tall African American ma

TLDR: Ive only had two reactions donating plasma and they were both at CSL. Long wait times and some unfriendly staff. I've donated plenty of times before at both BioLife and CSL. The last few times at CSL ,I had a pretty bad reaction where I felt very faint and had multiple nurses fanning me and bringing me ice packs and such. The next time I went to donate at CSL I had the same reaction. I was scared of donating until I just recently went to BioLife and didn't have any reaction, as usual with them. I have

Best place I've been love the people there community and leadership they have as donor I recommend others ????????

I've called this location several times to ask questions, and they never answer the phone!

Tracy did an amazing job screening me today! She made me feel welcomed and she seemed very knowledgeable on what she does! I hope to always have her screen me every time! Thanks Tracy !!

THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS ! I was donating today and heard the staff talking about bed bugs in the facility! Don't come here this place is disgusting. Didn't even remove the furniture from the building it's still in use! Won't be coming back again.

I went to csl plasma yesterday due to receiving this txt on 3/10 CSL Plasma: Get rewarded like a new donor when you return and donate plasma 5x in your 1st month. Plan your visit and maximize your rewards! I did not get rewarded like a new donor and only received the normal return donation. I've been trying to get a hold of someone to assist and no one has been helpful. I've been hung up on and yelled at by multiple customer service representatives. On top of that the actual experience was the worst I've e

The phlebotomists have created an environment in which they feel far too comfortable behaving unprofessional. They talk about any and everything including donors and don't seem to have the awareness of how it's unprofessional or they dont care. I have tricky veins so only a handful can stick me, kiesha being one of them. I hate when I need to request her because she literally gets angry even though she gets my vein every time. She doesn't hide it. It's like I'm an inconvenience. It can be very ghetto but it

I've been coming here for a long time. I waited 30 minutes in line and I got flagged to go see the medical because I had a mosquito bite on my arm. I understand doing your job, but it gets to the point where it's just a nuisance you let people slide with a lot worse. . Never coming here again you guys lost a really good Donor

Nicely run business with a good group of employees.

Just called up to this place since the kind people at Beloit location aren't answering yet. All I asked was "will you be open even tho it's so cold today?" Her response was "well obviously, I just answered didn't I?" I completely understand why they have so many 1 star reviews now and haven't even been there. The nation must not need plasma as much as they say if they're comfortable with having staff talk to people like that.

Lines are to long and understaffed and the machines are always breaking down

Never had any issues with this place. Staff is super friendly and answered all of my questions (I had many), and were super kind about my being a first time donor. I couldn't be happier with how sweet the nurse was to me and the phlebotomists are great as well! Some of the donors that come in are sort of loud but the staff knows some of them by name like they're family! It makes me really happy to see :) Make sure you drink lots of water before you go, and if you're a first time donor, expect to be there fo

Dirty. Poor management. Nurses are rude and uncaring. Lines are long. It's always hot in there. Other volunteers are loud, rude & asking for change etc. New patients are there for 3 hours just to get through the orientation etc not including donation time. Machines are slow! Don't bother.

Today a female phlebotomist Liz thought she had the right to talk down to me (Aboriginal). While standing in line she decided that I should wait and get called when she was ready, when clearly I was put up front by a license nurse to place me in my rightful place to get called next. I never felt uncomfortable a day in my life visiting CSL Plasma in front of some many strangers and also her co workers. Her attitude was completely wrong and hope someone in management will do something about this. Because I do

When this place first opened it was phenomenal. Within the last 6 months it has taken a nose dive. It's a guaranteed 3+ hour wait. If you come on the weekends you'll be there 4 to 5 hours easily. There will be a line to the door and they'll have one employee poking people while theres 3 or 4 employees standing behind the counter talking about what guy they are talking to or how drunk they got last week . Express passes are given to those who are friends with the staff not those who are dealing with a hu

The first place I've been to that totally missed my vein and shoved the needle into a nerve. When she yelled for assistance another woman came over and proceeded to punch it through into my muscle. I screamed. I have no intention of going back. I've been to Biolife up the road over 10 times and never had a issue before. This place had me stand in line for a hour to get a chair just to cause lots of pain and have me leave without donating. She got a attitude when she went for my other arm and I told her no.

The wait time is crazy and I am still waiting and watch people come in and leave and I'm just sitting here waiting for the nurse to see me so I guess it take 6 hours for first donor now I went to the back to see who ever now I'm back in the wait area they still have not took my vitals I would not recommend them go some where else because they are short staff and don't care this sad and they know that they can't see the people but still take new donors have been since 10:15 it is 12:14 pm

VERY TIME CONSUMING AND THE NEW MACHINES SEND ELECTRIC SHOCK TO YOUR ARM

Not a very knowledgeable staff on everyday questions about donating. I had to come back twice when I had everything I needed the first time, took too long, I left!!!

The place has no regard for using people's time. They do everything very slow. I am concerned that if I try to donate on a work day I would be late for my actual job. They should consider the fact that some of the people donating have other responsibilities, as well. It would be nice to remember that some of us donate for the cause, not for the money. The staff is exhausted and annoyed. They are not changing the gloves as often as they should (removing the needles from one patient and continues to keep the

I'm still a fairly new donor but so far I have no complaints. The staff are always nice, the facility is clean and I can earn some extra money while helping others in the process!. (Helpful Tip) arrive first thing in the morning or about an hour before closing you'll avoid the crowd and shorten your wait time. MONDAY-FRIDAY 6:00 AM - 8:00PM

Seriously understaffed!!! And if you ask any questions they are extremely rude only 4 staff on floor. 3 tending to one person having difficulties. Steady seating people and setting up machines. 12 people waiting to be stuck right now. Person I came in with been gone for 10 min I still havent been stuck yet. Ridiculous!!!

Just spent 45 mins standing in line int the rain to get in the door. Was literally the first person in. Went to the kiosk and then jumped to the front of the line where my original place was. The screener, Andrew, then proceeded to have myself and another gentleman escorted out for refusing to give up our original places. Worst customer service ever. Do not give this establishment your business. They make you wait in line for hours and pay pennies. Not worth it at all. Worst place in all of Illinois. *Updat

The complaints about this business are just bogus. If you can't come in here and be respectful of the staff, its your own problem. Even after being deferred for a living situation I was in for a month I was able to talk with a manager and we worked it out. Come in with an attitude and you'll get attitude. Come in and treat them with the respect they deserve, you'll receive the respect you think you are entitled to. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and you get paid for hanging around for awhile.

.Extra income is nice. Averages about $40/hour. Donation time takes about 1 1/2 hours of my time. Get to save a life or two and all have to do is sit still for a little it. Staff is friendly. Sometimes it frustrating to wait in a line, but it's for a good cause.

Nice facility. The donation process is very easy and the staff are professional and fun. The nurse is very kind and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Went to donate this morning and was sent away permanently due to security. Went in last week donated and touched filter on machine security decided she was gonna be funny and tell on me. When approached by mgmt was told not to touch machine I said ok and apologized finished donation when walking out security guard eyeballs me so I flipped her off. She tells staff to permanently stop me from donating cause she feels threatened. Ha. I flipped u off give me a break maybe u should mind your job not what others

Drea is a awesome poker she always has a good attitude and she moves quickly

The staff is excellent. They go out of there way to make sure you as a donated are comfy and safe. Staff in front, nurses, doctor, even the security are so attentive to your needs. It's a good spot.

I give 5 stars because the staff are friendly and they are very professional and are serious about their job.

When I was a first time donor I provided proof of address by a Victoria secret credit card bill.. as a return donor they almost wouldn't accept this same form as proof of address with updated dates... just very confusing... rude.. out of protocol... the employee denying my proof was very rude.. she said she would get someone else (her supervisor) her supervisor approved my mail as proof of address. She never apologized. In fact, her coworker brought up a second time she cannot accept my proof even though h

The employees are awesome here. Theirs one girl dr their she needs to work on her people skills and not to be rude all the time. The girls and the guys in the back are super awesome.

This place is the worst to donate plasma at. One time I had a bruise on my arm that made me get check up by a doctor. Anyways once it was confirmed I was fine to donate and I made a sloppy signature on purpose she made a comment saying that it looked I had cerebral palsy bc of the signature. Anyways today, I was told to wait 15 minutes to get checked up again. In the past, I've been told it's fine to sit in the lounge with chairs bc it's not outside. My appointment would be canceled if I left the building w

Was an ok place. Went there the other day at six am to beat the rush to find that nobody but the desk person and security guard were the only workers to show up. This place has turned into an absolute joke of a company. Being understaffed almost guarantees you a two hour wait time. They decided to throw the 100 dollar donation promotion while understaffed and now it's a complete disaster.

This place is a joke. Computers down, long lines and I was told they don't need to tell me their policies. I'm the customer and I'm not allowed to know the policies until After they affect me. This location has a nurse who is very unprofessional and downright rude. I will Never give them my business again.

If I could give them 0 stars that's what I would choose. When they first opened this location things seemed good. But since then staff has definitly changed..so unprofessional, lack of people skills. You ask a question and they have attitudes..when it comes to doing what they are getting paid to do. If it was't for the donors they would't have a job. The staff always talk about if donors do not want to wait then they should not come. How about if the employees do not like there jobs maybe they should work s

They decided to help celebrate Juneteenth which I thought was a great thing when others could care less it shows it's not just about donating with them

CSL is good in my book only thing was I got told I'd get deferred by a manger for smelling like marijuana which is legal, but I just wanna know if we can get deferred for smell then why y'all ain't deferring these grown adults whos coming in smelling like gym sick n ball sacks This was beyond me ??????????but yeah naw other than thAt the people at CSL treat u good n I'm talkn bout like family food ??

I've been donating for many years. I haven't been to Rockford center in while. My beef is 75% of the employees don't care that there is a line a mile long of donors. They don't try to pick up there speed in screening or setting up machines and sticking. Going back within couple days. Wonder if there's any improvement. Well I'm here. This place is a joke. I hate it. The video shows all happy smiling faces. NOT. The employees visit and talk with you each other and act like your bothering them. Dancing, and st

I find that the staff at CSL plasma is very knowledgeable in every aspect of the plasma donor process and they're very courteous as well

Staffing is a huge issue at this place. They never have enough employees to accommodate the amount of donors. If you donate here you will always be waiting 2 hours + for a seat in the donation chair. Money not that good either thanks to the wait time. Waiting 2+ hours to only take 30 minutes to donate is unacceptable.

Your ?nurse? Megan is very unprofessional and extremely rude!!!! Makes up lies and puts words in people?s mouths! Find a new job and stop working with the general public if you're going to treat people that way!

Every time I've gone in this place its slow moving. They never have the staff levels they should have. Then recently they gave me a false positive on a screening and automatically put me on a permanent deferral and didn't have the decency tell me themselves. Health department has said its a false positive on CSLs end and has said they have recently been getting alot of false positives from this place. Maybe its time to change your ways CSL, quit jumping the gun turning away healthy donors before you have no

This place is NOT sanitary. Chairs are NOT wiped down or sprayed after each person. I also have not noticed anyone wearing gloves. I also received a false positive on hep c and now I can't donate ANYWHERE because of their lack of cleanliness. Law suit and health dept call in their future! ???

My donation experience was great AND the person who drew my BLOOD was Jessica C . She was patient and understanding OF my anxiety and handle herself very professional !! THANK you CSL for hiring her , she IS a great part of your team ,HANDS DOWN !!!!!

I get heat rash in the summer in my arms, they were itchy and I scratched causing some scabbing. Their nurse said it looked like ?drug marks? so she deferred me from donating until I saw their doctor. I waited couple weeks for it to clear up and returned to donate. I returned to see their doctor and he said my arms looked good and cleared me so I could donate but the nurse insisted that they were drug marks! Really?! Someone who's addicted to shoting up drugs isn't going stop to go donate plasma!! They call

They only work on there time. I've had to wait over a month to get cleared to donate and was told it's my fault I can't get the new patient pay. They have every excuse too not want to listen to you and there always people standing around pretending to work. The whole situation is ugh it's exhausting wish there was another place to go.

Clean and Neat. Way better then the one located in the north towne mall. You receive 50 for the first 5 donations. 20 and 45 after. They have cool and better perks. Stop coming for awhile and receive a coupon in the mail. Best time to go is early morning or close to closing time. Friendly Staff!

They keep saying my pause is when I go to the doctor it's never High it's normal. The pick and choose who they want. Twice they that I will never go back. A person can be completely healthy but they take Crack head in.

First I would like to say the people stating this place There's a lot of location's for CSL not just one place I donate in Rockford Sometimes yes there's a long wait and I have been in and out within an hour I have been donating at my location real close to two Year's now Some staff call me by my first name and I know quite a few by name The staff is always professional and very nice people to be around I am a platinum donor and I always have a good experience every donation The Medical staff and management

Horrible very non professional It was air in the tube Nobody came to check on me . The lady who stuck me was very rude and stuck the needle all the way to faR in my vein i hated it

This place does not care about your time. You'll wait in line for two to three hours before you even get to the back to donate which takes another hour of your time.. most of the time people are just rude. And if you don't believe me, take yourself about 4 or 5 hours and go find out yourself... Nothing but a number at this place.

Front staff nice some of the back staff very unprofessional and rude and don't care when sticking you.

I love this place and I love the staff...every one of them. I can't understand how anyone could give less than 5 stars. If ANYONE needs to shape up, it is some of the clients I see and hear when I'm there. Show some class, y'all.

In the 2 months I went I couldn't hardly do my second donation because they are rough and bruise u up. They could never get my other arm and blame it on the vein. I switched places and this place uses my other arm and NEVER bruised me. PSA..... U should be sanitizing kiosk in between users. Screen was disgusting. Hello! Covid!!!!!

this location illegally put something in my veins while I was donating plasma and it's driving me crazy I need help with this

I am sick and tired of places like this expecting you to "donate" blood. Don't go to places like this. Go somewhere that they will pay you. You know damn well they are making money off your donation. Go somewhere else that is not a "donation" center.

The staff is nice. They just need more staff. It's always a long wait and you have to stand the whole time you wait..Plan on being there for a minimum of 2 hours..

Best csl I HAVE BEEN. Texas, Other illinois, Wisconson, Iowa, & Indiana this is THE STANDARD THAT NEEDS TO BE MET FOR CSL

Faith is the best screw the haters love the employees here they try there best with the crazy people that come threw there establishment

I love this Place. Been here like 13 times. Been differed twice cause I wasn't hydrated. Make sure you drink LOTS of WATER! :) it's still a great place to earn money!

Took 45 minutes just to go through screening and then when I was ending my donation the lady said ?I hope you bleed out? because I started getting impatient

Slow as hell. Waiting for about 30 min to even be seated wh8le the staff talk and joke around. This branch of CSL is almost as bad as Telecris in Rockford. CSL in Beloit, Wisconsin is much nicer and more efficient

First off i am going to address a problem theres a reason service and emotional support animals are to be kept away from general population in csl and telacris. Simple put its a health hazard you dogs furr hold millions of particles and thats not even if they havent been out in the world away from their home. Second you couldnt donat becuase you cuased a problem at the facility. Second when it come to animals you have to have you documentation since it is a federally and state funded building they are able

Can't donate cause my heart rate is slightly too high yet the dude who was outside smoking something that was definitely not a cigarette was allowed to donate. Interesting I'd say

Bobby is a supervisor manager up there very uneducated. He violated hipa with my husband and I will be suing...
