Suite A, Smyrna
Smyrna, Georgia 30080
I have been donating here 5 years and it seems like every time I go in the morning, I have a great experience. But I absolutely dread dread coming here in the afternoons, not because of wait time, but because of the staff, there is always something where I have to come back. The next day today I had my temperature taken, it popped a hundred I said, that's not right.Asked to have it redone, she did, and then my temperature was normal every time I get penalized, it's because of staff's failure, and it's only
I made a Horrible decision by trying to come to this CSL . Brandon is a manager??? He should be written up or worse! That guy argues with patients constantly. Stay away from here!!! Police is always at this smyrna location. I swear it feels like your not in Smyrna anymore once you enter that CSL. It feels like the location is in the Slums or ghetto. Smyrna ?? I think not! Stay away!!!! Pls ????????? I see all the 5 star ? reviews were about a year or 2 ago. It must be the Poor leadership
Extremely Disappointing Experience Upon arrival, I was met with a completely unattended front desk. Several employees walked by without acknowledging me or offering assistance. After waiting 12 minutes, an employee named Deja finally came over to help. She informed me that I was outside the qualifying zip code area and would need to provide proof of an alternate address. She provided a list of acceptable documents and told me she would wait for me to return with one. I came back within six minutes with th
DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Especially if your finances are tight and you've been out of work and need a reliable donation process. Not only is the intake process extremely long because they allow new donors to consistently cut to the front of the line regardless of how long returning donors have been standing there waiting, but they will also give you the wrong information about when you can return. You'll plan your schedule for the week, including going out of town, with the understanding that you can donate bef
This is the worst CSL I ever encountered in my life. STAY AWAY ????????? They talk about the patients. I heard the manager with the dreads say " he ain't even got a car, he walking". About a patient. Smh ?? who made Brandon management. Horrible decision! A lot of drama!!! 0 stars ? beware!!!!! I'm truly disappointed and disgusted
I provided multiple valid identity documents while being a former government employee and was told they could not accept them. My identity was then stolen and bank account shut down and credit cards stolen. I was a previous donor at this location a year before this and still had that documentation. My identity was verified then and my login and records were on my phone from previous donations. I was told this by the person appearing to be a charge nurse during a physical there but doubt they are licensed
This company refuses to follow policy. Despite the paperwork I sign prior to every donation, they are breaking guidelines and policies, including the assistant manager. Protect yourself and go to another company because if something unfortunate happens, they do not follow the policies they sign and nonetheless this is a health facility.
Three times in a row the staff missed my vein but continued to hook me up to the machine the 1st time I left with my arm bruised and swollen 2nd time the staff member stuck and restuck me until I had a huge blood bubble that wouldn't stop bleeding and 3rd time I was told by the staff that the pressure on my machine was way to high which caused my arm to feel numb and cold for several days. I was unable to give a complete donation every time but one staff member felt it was her place to inform me that if I w
I had written a long message about how horrible Rena was, but no one wants to read that. The hollow responses are written by the workers at CSL anyway, so this is really for the people donating. Here is a summary. Rena was terrible. Absolutely the worst. She told me to "be quite" several times. Blamed me for coming too late...at 4:45 on a Tuesday when they close at 7pm, and repeatedly talked over me and a lovely worker who ended up apologizing on her behalf. If you hate your job, then quit, but there's no
Do NOT go! I have been donating for a while at different places, and this location by far has been the worst experience ever! Unprofessionalism with some of the staff members, to the ?new? unproductive-faulty donation machines! I waited two hours and eleven minutes in line to donate. The machine had an error, says the Technician, that indeed looked like she did not want to be there, because she clearly looked over worked and under paid! She stated, it isn't my fault the machine malfunctioned?it's the ?new m
I don't know where to even start but I guess I save you from reading all of this. Just don't go. The experience of donating plasma is supposed to be as simple as 1,2,3. However from start to finish the staff in the front complain about their work, should?ve been my first red flag. I come to donate not be a therapist. Then move to back area. Same experience. First stick I'm deferred from the person who telling my sticking me how much she dislikes her position as a lead because managers slack and leave everyt
Well I officially stopped donating as of Thursday 10/31/2024. Some of the staff in the back can be nice and friendly and some not so friendly. I'm pretty quiet but a Good morning or good afternoon would be nice? instead of just ?next donor?. Also my machine kept going into red zone ?no pull? so I'm raising my hand repeatedly waiting for someone and they just kept walking by not trying to even check my machine. I waited and waited, so I started to take the needle out and they want to get upset. ( I was just
Told me one thing on the phone while I waited 30 minutes on hold to hear an answer and then dented me when I drove all that way. Unprofessional,Unresponsive, no decorum
I had a nice experience with the staff while at the location but perhaps a little more training would be helpful. A week later....my arm still looks like I was in battle. I have given plasma before and I have NEVER experienced this before. A picture is worth a thousand words. So. Many. Colors.
READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE. This place is the WORST. The staff here literally have no sense of urgency. Due to the fact that they have to be clocked in for 8hrs, they don't care how long your visit is. Also, during my last visit, I had to wait a very long time to see the nurse. Her name was Rena. She overheard me speaking with another donor about how long I had been waiting & she got upset with me because I had said people didn't want to do their job. I tried greeting her, & she ignored me. Before
Coming from east point CSL this is the slowest! No way they simply take their time while CSL in east point Cleveland ave have to process so much more people in a short time. The pay here needs to lower and get the east point location more. Any one can go there and see. They are too comfortable here and wasting people times. I will always go to the east point location from now on or just leave CSL in general and go donate somewhere else. I keep telling the staff at east point are trained the most and deal wi
First time coming here. My boyfriend and I came to donate at 5:45 pm. After waiting 15 minutes a white male proceeds to tell us that they are not taking new patients which is contrary to their signage. When I questioned his statement he proceeds to tell me we need to come back tomorrow as the process takes 2.5. Will not return here. Very unprofessional and rude
I'm never coming here again! I came here maybe 2 weeks ago. I was taking antibiotics for an ear infection. So the lady told me to come back on 11/13. I come back today to donate and now Ive been told 11/22. Just ridiculous!! I drove 2 hours just to be told the other lady didn't it wrong, she didn't count back correctly and blah blah. Y?all are nurses, how is this possible? My last dose was 11/8 and now I have to wait again. What a waste of time and gas. Didnt even compensate me for the mistake that y?al
Okay center. It seems like everyone is only told to do one thing at a time in the back? Like if they're told to be on set up, they'll walk straight past you if you need to be taken down even if they have no one to set up right then. That's extremely annoying and the wait time for take down is too long compared to other centers I've been to because of this. They would be more efficient if staff could prioritize based on what needs to be done but either someone is taking down, sticking up, doing verification
This place is not very welcoming. Everyone seems to hate to be there. I have been there four times and the last time I was instructed to get help from the frontbdeskband the the woman treated me like I was incapable of following the prompt. That this had to be my fault that it wouldn't except me. The attitudes are dissociative and cold. Most people there do not explain anything except to treat you like a cow going through the dairy line.
Pay is low and seems the newer machines make the needle and tube vibrate it's not worth the effort of doing it rather go to Red cross free
Very Fast and Efficient ,, Always Positive Attitudes ,, I Came Last Tuesday. . and Damion did Amazing on placing the Needle in my arm (No Pain), also professionalism is 5 stars. Justin was Super Kind, Very Informative and Respectful. Lateya's Personality is Awesome, she always puts a smile on my face. Overall, My Experiences Being Here Are Great .. Shout out to Deonte as well he fixed and corrected an issue I had with the pressure in my arm during a past visit ,, really saved the day and relieved the discom
Staff is extremely slow. They are understaffed. Employees talk to much. Worst plasma place around trust me stay away. They do not act like your helping save lives but ur inconveniencing them
My visit was terrible renee has a nasty attitude and she is rude yall need to do something about that it seems that she does not like her job. She'll be looking mean all the time
This location is by far THE WORST. They are so slow with no sense or urgency just there to stand around and get a free check. Everytime I go they leave you on the machine after being done for around 10-20 mins. I decided to say something about it the other day and one of the young ladies decided to leave the needle in my arm, unclamped while I'm holding it. They get in their feelings about everything and they'll make it your problem. It's ridiculous I've been donating with CSL for over 2 years and have 135
They blew not one of my veins but two, I wish I could add pictures of how bruised my arms are but it's not letting me. One of my arms looks like it has dried blood on it, but it's underneath my skin they are swollen and bruised.. I won't be able to donate for at least a month, they took that money out of my pocket.. in December.. as soon as she put the needle in my arm it swoll up like a balloon, they are untrained or purposely harming people. I read a few comments that said they over herd that they were go
Today I'm giving Kimila five stars for her exceptionally kind customer service. She went above and beyond to help me. I really enjoyed her beautiful smile and charismatic personality. I would definitely recommend this location.
They seem to have staffing issues, which increases the wait time. I don't trust all of the workers in the back. I had a tense situation with one. The next time she saw me, she whispered to the worker about to put me on the IV. That worker mysteriously stuck me so hard and so deep that I got a hematoma, and it took the area two weeks to heal. This is the only center I've been to, so I don't know if they're any better or not. I know the service is invaluable to patients and people who need fast money sometime
Andrea and Japera were so helpful. They make a less than fun process more pleasant and I appreciate them for that. Today there was a bit of a problem with the flow. A nice young lady named Joy came and checked on me and fixed it and was very pleasant towards me. Thank you Joy
Don't donate here they'll lie and tell you that you'll receive x amount of money before they stick you and they give you less and then when you inquire about it they randomly defer you for a year it's ridiculous never expected a business to retaliate over 30 dollars it's disgusting behavior
I walked in on labor day, right before they closed. The security guard lady rudely said me, "you better have drunk a lot of water, don't get on my bad side!" I took that as a threat, since she is armed. I told the staff and they said she was joking with me. Remind you I walked in and said nothing. Just to be disrespected as I arrive by a security guard with a gun. Now if I id had said something back defending myself. I'd be in the wrong. I don't appreciate being spoken to in that manner. Joking or not! Beca
I've worked with CSL in multiple states and I have always felt comfortable, but this location was especially nice. The staff, everyone I met, were so kind. They were patient with my name change, my many questions, and I was glad to have picked the exact right place. They stay pretty steady, expect the first visit to take a couple hours as they make sure to go over, one on one, the ways they keep your information private, what substances they test for, and what the process will be like. The small physical is
Normally I give 5 stars. I've been here since 230 with 2 people ahead of me and 5 people on the floor in the back and 3 up front. I sat in the chair in the back for 25 minutes before beginning my plasma adjustments. One girl was slowly pointing people what to do. The organization this afternoon will deter me from ever using these medical services ever again. 330 I began pumping!
The center is one of the nicer CSL locations that I have donated at. Unfortunately, there is a lackluster nature when it comes to the employees here. There is a complete lack of urgency and efficiency with the movement of incoming and waiting donors. There are typically more than enough staff in the donation station, but you can typically find them standing idle or doing non-critical activities, in opposed to seating donors. There are always cleaned and unoccupied beds in active areas. With more guided lead
Facility is clean and staff are nice. I was told the total process would be 2 hours and ended up being here 3 and 1/2 hours. Also the website false advertised that this particular location gives up to $700 for new donors and you get here and there are signs everywhere that say only up to $500. Staff moved entirely too slow in the front needs more help or something
1 hour after opening only 4 employees here and only 1 women setting up everything and sticking people! Worst customer care you will ever get. Expect a 4 hr day here even if your not a new donar
I had a very disappointing experience at CSL Plasma. The staff were unwelcoming, and the wait time was excessively long. They pay less than other centers for first-time donors; I received $5 more per visit at the Stone Mountain location. Additionally, they made it seem like an issue that I had visited different CSL centers before. This visit made me late to work, and to make matters worse, they pricked my finger four times because my information didn't ?transfer properly? from the Stone Mountain location. I
Ms. Kimila was excellent help. Friendly, nice, and she kept a smile on her face the entire time that we interacted! She made me feel comfortable and she was also informational with any question that I asked. Great experience
I'm a regular at this location. Staff is great even when working short staffed. Wait times vary depending on the time of day but they try to get through everyone quickly and efficiently. I'm usually a hard stick but Jasmine P. did an amazing job! Got it on the first try and barely felt anything! I'll request her from now on!
Horrible center I've been done for 20 mins an counting I'm writing this comment still waiting I never dealt with nuffin like this ever
Jasmine P. Is the best!!!! From the beginning , very personable. Bedside manner was awesome. She made me feel at ease and very comfortable. I didn't even feel her stick me .Most importantly she was very friendly which is rare when coming to this center , her coworkers should study her technique and mirror it
The best donation location I've ever been to. I've been to the location on Tara blvd and other donation facilities like biolife and they have NOTHING on this location. Everyone is pretty sufficient and friendly. I live in Ellenwood and drive all the way to this location so that should tell you a lot. Special shout out to the girl that has two braids today (I forgot her name but I believe her birthday was on Thanksgiving). She makes the place feel like home. If she's not the LEAD of the floor she needs to be
Jasmine P. Was extremely pleasant! She was in a great & friendly mood which always very comforting. Best of all when she got ready to stick my I literally did not feel a thing at all! Very good employee!!
Very unprofessional and uneducated I called 4 times was on hold for like 3 hrs for a deferral an African American woman and man put on my account for a reason I don't know I feel obligated this shouldn't be a place to donate especially in a place where work client atmosphere is nome existence.!!!!
Kitila and Justin were awesome help today!! Had an issue with my pay card as well as the amount today.. They helped fix the issue as a team(with care and a sense of urgency).. Thanks y'all!
I left CSL six months ago due to lack of customer service. Shannon(center director) was outstanding. Due to her i had great experience for 1st time. Probably will be making it my center.
Phlebotomist Dana did a magnificent job this morning! I am difficult to stick, but she had no problem at all... And she had a great attitude while dealing with me today. The staff at CSL are very friendly and take care of business quickly so you're in and out as quickly as possible!
I had the worst experience with the nurse Renee. She relentlessly harassed me in front of everyone while I was told to wait in the waiting area for my biometrics. Because of her lack of discretion and professionalism, I advised her I had already been assisted. She was on an ego trip as though I owed her the knowledge of why I was sitting there. She proceeded to kick me out for not entertaining her harassment. Little did I know at the time she was the nurse so when I had to get my checkup done, she called in
I am very impressed with your staff and professionalism. I have had great care from Camilla , Vivian, Renee, Jasmine , Simone , Donnell , Maurice, Amber T and Mr. David. I had the pleasure of acknowledging your Director, Stephen. Everyone in my family except for me is in a medical profession. My Dad was an eye doctor, he ran his practice on wonderful care.He always said ?it's nice to be nice?. I see that your staff is friendly and very thorough. You can be very proud of the manner in which this team condu
Japera is the most caring person you will ever meet. She's always smiling and sometimes, I believes she smiles while she's asleep (LOL! ). Japera is always learning, so she can help the customers in anyway possible. Im going to miss her so much, but I know she will do well in whatever she desires. Japera, may God bless and protect you while on this journey called life. I love you and I'm missing you already. ?? Enjoy Life Enjoy Family & Enjoy Friends
they will lie to you about the store closing because they dont want to take anymore donors, ive showed up at 5:30pm on a tuesday and they turned me and every one else away while i could see that there was only one person in the whole facility that was waiting to donate, the employees lie about you being rude so they can defer you when they were the only ones to be rude or have a attitude. The nurse is also terrible she's more interested in just chilling in the back talking and not doing anything than doing
This location is incredibly slow. They don't have the sense of urgency to get anybody in or out of here. The screeners literally would stop work to hold long conversations & once you get done donating they have you sitting forever to be taking down. I've single time I've donated here I've waited 10+ minutes to be taken down. While associates are walking around in circles acting as if they're monitoring the room but they're not paying attention to anything at all. And the others would sit there & clean 10 st
I have been coming here for years and have had some great experiences. This morning Tina and a young lady checked me in. They were very helpful with my questions, very professional and competent . In the donation area Andrea was the phlebotomist who stuck me. She is competent and knows what she is doing. Great jobs today from the staff.
Kimme literally saved them from a bad review. If you need something done, call and ask for Ms. Kimme????
Kimila did amazing! She helped me set up everything and has a great spirit about her. Clearly loves people! Shout out to her
I love coming here even though I just started coming here to CSL Plasma. I love walking in and being able to know that Ebony is the one going to help me. She makes everything so smooth and she is so reassuring and she is always so nice and so helpful ready to answer any questions that you may have I really appreciate her GO EBONY KEEP BEING GREAT ?? ??
Usually don't visit this location but it is probably the slowest and least attentive of them all. 1 person doing vitals at the end of the day and it was more than an hr for 10 people to get done. No one checked on her and the line to donate was just as long. I really wish I wasn't working near this one. It's been an average of 3 hrs to do what almost every other branch can accomplish in 1/2 the time
The improvements in the center are appreciated! Jasmine, Tina and Sky upfront are super sweet girls and always at work helping in all areas. Draia and Ms Dana are awesome too, very sweet as well. Thanks for making our visits more of a pleasant experience.
Staff is great, professional, and so nice! I took advantage of the new donor promo (8 donations) but will plan on going back regularly. Wait times are busy around mid morning and later in the afternoon. I try to go early in the mornings around 7am and it is fast. Charles and Vivian are especially great!
Been coming to this center on and off for years. They typically always have a good customer service and low wait times, very rarely have I had a long wait. The receptionist are nice , I have Danielle quite a few times and she's very personalable Andthe back staff is always attentive to make sure everything good and safe.
Jasmine P is one of the best phlebotomists CSL has. Every time she sticks me I feel nothing it's just so smooth. She is so efficient and pleasantly friendly. Great customer service
Everyone here is amazing. World class customer service. Everyone one was extremely inviting and friendly. Vivian was the best she was extremely nice and understanding. I told her my brother is extremely nervous when it comes to needles. She allowed him to sit next to me to calm his nerves. She was patient. Everyone here was extremely knowledgeable. Great environment. Professional. Diamond level service.
I saw a discrimination scene for not speaking english, the person brought a translator and they told him they couldn't sign him up for not speaking english and didn't allow the translator to help. I think the language shouldn't be a barrier to save lives.
This center is amazing. Its Very comforting and the staff puts you at ease from the moment you walk through the doors. I want to highlight the phlebotomist especially Jasmine P. who has all but put my fear of needles to rest. I am now a regular and I owe it to this awesome team! Go CSL!
Today?s experience was great. Alyssa was the one that hooked me until then Andrea checked on me and made sure I was ok. I come here twice a week and have for two years. I enjoy my alone time
I absolutely love Octapharma plasma! Today was my second donation, and it was just as seamless as my first. Even though they had a steady flow of donors, I never had to wait more than about 5-10 minutes. The employees are really nice, and their center is, too. Very happy with my experience overall.
Amazing place. Amber is great, super friendly, when she inserted the needle if felt like a tiny pinch so she's obviously proficient in her job. The pay here is great I highly recommend this place. If you're lucky Amber will be your nurse. ??
Kimila is amazing. Very sweet, patient, and personable. She definitely makes the experience comforting. However, so.e of the staff either needs more sleep or a new career choice. They do not very happy working here. The first few experiences weren't not that inviting.
This was my first time at this center . I'm waiting at the front as a watch 2 ladies laugh . The front desk females have very bad attitudes. They were not welcoming. Long waits . This center is overall ghetto and I'm high disappointed. I've never had a bad experience until visiting this location . Do not come here
The center employee Amber Roy was very welcoming and gentle also the center is alway clean. Thank you!!!
There was a time for a while that the lines were frustratingly long.. However, the past few times I have been (despite the time of day) I have gotten in and out very quickly, with no wait! So that is a big improvement. Also, i've never had an issue with getting an easy "stick". Shout-out to Vivian for it being pain free, and for her kindness.
I had a great experience from soon as I walked in the environment smelled nice and felt good. The nurse who checked my vitals was very polite and nice to be around. And even the attendant Dana Mitchell was so gentle I barely felt the needle.
I called and asked to speak with a manager to clarify a situation I had at this company and spoke with a staff member upon requesting to speak to a manager the lady told me... " you don't need to speak with a manager I know how to do my job" very very very unprofessional this establishment needs to work on getting better employees especially ones that answer there phones
All the staff are respectful and cool wit the exception of one rude employee GAYLE. She is rude to everyone it is very unprofessional an uncalled for. Her attitude work ethic and appearance match they they all SuCK! She needs to find a new job. Miserableness reeks from her being. Sweetie if you are unsatisfied with your job, do yourself a favor. Seek another one. Donors should not be subjected to her nasty attitude. Note: If you If you have a job of service, you should at least try to provide decent custom
My experience since the first has been amazing and very welcoming. I started 3 weeks ago and come 2 a week faithfully. Ashonde and Ron are always making sure I'm comfortable and always have a smile on my face. I will continue to donate at this location and never regret it
If I could give this place a zero I would. I haven't donated plasma since 2020. Now I see why, the customer service at this location is horrific! I will personally go out my way to tell everyone I know to not come to this location. The staff is slow and unfriendly and if you're a new donor it takes almost 5 hours to go through the process. I asked multiple questions about why it takes so long and I was told that's just the process and someone would be right with me. This isn't a hospital it's plasma and peo
I must have come to this location on a good day after seeing all of the other reviews. I was a first time donor. They got me in the back in less than an hour after doing all paperwork. I was very nervous about the donation process, but the staff was very nice and talked to me the entire time about what the machine was doing. A few of the staff were a little unprofessional but overall it was a good experience. I'll be going back. But what people say are true, there is one young lady who is pretty rude.
I got deferred For no reason. One of the staff who I never met lied on me an said I was cursing an rushing them to take me dwn my side is she heard me talking to another donor about the poor customer service of how they leave you to wait an stock up 1st before they see about a donor so they lied an said I did something i didn't do when I came back for my 2 donation I was told I was deferred keep in mind camera are in the building an security was too. If I was cursing her out why she didn't get security but
A newby but they have made me feel very comfortable and at ease. My first visit went great and my 2nd visit has been good too. Thank u Vivian for all your hard work and kindness when setting me up today. Will return and recommend ??
My girlfriend goes , I do not . But as I wait here the wait does not seem long , when she comes out she isn't hurt or have scarring from the injection of the syringe. They won't let you donate if you have any bruising on your arm . If your iron is low you can't donate either .
Ms.Kimora is very professional, and very knowledgeable about CSL Plasma. She gets you in and out. She made my friends and I feel very comfortable. Please give her a raise. I will definitely be returning.
I Went to the Smyrna Location. The New donor Took almost 3 hours before I could actually sit down , the staff was Slow and Was doing more talking then helping the Long line that was Taking place in the lobby. Crazy Everyone wanted to go to lunch at the same time.
I have mixed feeling about this center. The first two times I went the person who drew my plasma was acting the fool making jokes, singing very unprofessional. The nurse during the intake and the blonde lady out front who does your vitals was very professional and kind. I did bruise alot from the donation but I do bruise easy so, I can't blame them for that. The third time I went I was in line and I thought I heard nurse Renee say Next. When I walked up to her booth she was very rude and so loud everyone i
Staff are very rude. I realize they are understaffed but that is no excuse for being rude. There should be a manager helping out and making sure all customers are being attended to by pleasant staff members. Things would go so much smoother for customers and staff if they even smiled or something. If you hate your job that much then find something else. I waited 4 1/2 hours my first visit and should have at least had kind staff.
Me. Kimila has a great personality very helpful and has great customer service. Love her !!!!!
This was my first time donating so I was a little nervous but the staff did a great job at making me feel comfortable. Amber was very attentive and did a great job at explaining the process. I will definitely be returning.
Great example of one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch! Get rid of the judgemental ones! and some people that couldn't donate before will have a chance!
Avoid this plasma center right now I was here for 5 hours and had to literally force my way into the new donor process. On top of that, staff was extremely rude, I would?ve been there all day if I did keep saying stuff. They say this is due to a new system implementation however this is not the case.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
