Drove an hour and a half to donate got there at quarter after 3 and was told I could donate because they didn't take new donors after 3. Seriously are you so lazy and inconsiderate that I spent an hour and a half driving to you to donate only to then turn me away because I was 15 minutes past your time for new donors? Which oh by the way they never told me and most places will take places up until 3 hours until closing so yeah this place already left a VERY poor impression with their laziness and unprofessi

Just calling there today made me not want to go donate. The lady who answered the phone was soooooo RUDE!!!!!! Then when my daughter traveled across the city to donate, she was rude to my daughter as well. She turned her away and said no new people on Saturday and she needed to be there by 11. Maybe is she wasn't such a tag on the phone, she could have said that. Definitely needs to get a job working alone with that dirt poor attitude!

I just went there. Between the people who do screening. And management. They just want to find a reason to deny you. Very poor service and the staff there are disrespectful and rude. Wouldn't recommend if your trying for first time.

I believe that anyone who complains about this place should not even consider donating blood plasma, after all your getting paid for it and it's a need that is needed to save lives so stop bitching about it and shut up and do what you need to do to get that money, where else can you get paid for donation, American Red Cross does not pay for it, and consider the fact that these workers also probably have outside jobs with children no less, you will get treated the same way you treat others, I have heard noth

Sometimes, there's a really long wait to get on the donor floor bc there aren't many people working the floor really early but once you get paid, especially if it's a bonus, it's all worth it. I noticed a new one sleeping on the job though yesterday. That's why it's hard to find a job, because they hire things like that, that don't want to work.

This place runs very efficiently. The check-in process was quick and thorough. I've had the pleasure of getting India whenever I go. She takes her time with you on your first time to make sure you're comfortable. She's great with the needle and hits my vein the first time every time. Honestly, she's the main reason I'm leaving this 5-star review. Give this woman some credit! I'll be back for sure!

They have horrible customer/patient service. The people at the front counter are rude no matter which one of them is there. And you can clearly see them slacking off. But the worst part is how they did my veins like I've been bruised for about 2 weeks now it's ridiculous I'm not donating ever again thanks to the guys at my local CSL plasma.

THEY DONT TAKE NEW PPL ON SUNDAY!!!! But it was the only place I could go to get help with my car note . As a single parent they aren't kids friendly so make sure you read this twice I drove up from Utica with them and got turned around ?? but this is a legit way to get cash under a couple of hours like you worked most of the day . The water fountain has pressure !!! Wet my feet ?? .the staff is friendly Nikki welcomed me and made me comfortable while Sierra, she took time and speak with me about the impor

When I first signed up I told them that nurses usually have a hard time finding my veins, the CSL staff informed me that it's okay, and I'm able to come but if they get 2 empties then I can't come back. I said that's okay, I totally understand it, they don't want people abusing the system. So I went my first time, and they were able to get some blood out but not enough that they needed so they called it an empty and sent me home. I was still paid the $100 I was promised. I went for my second trip and went t

Went to go donate at 825 on 10/27/24 when I got there there was a sign on door not opening till 830. It wasn't until 8:40 that they opened door then they only took 12 I was 13th in line was told they could only let 12 people in at a time. I then waited 2 hours and 30 min in the cold. There was room in the place for us to weight inside but they said they could not let us in. I know they were short but it was very unprofessional. They also let new and lapsed people who had not been waiting in before us who ha

This place is so disrespectful especially the guy who helped me at front think his name was Albert he was talking to me as if I was Some child and then one of the supervisors some black lady with glasses approached me about the situation saying can I talk to you in my office as if I was the problem when she needs to train her staff to be more professional and people oriented cause as he was asking me questions I told him u will not talk to me like that an then they made an excuse an why I couldn't donate th

Have never been anything but nice to them only to receive rudeness and disrespect in return. I would skip this center if I were you.

Love coming here. The staff members are always friendly. Sometimes the wait can be long but that's not their fault. Everyone is great , Adaria and Brooke are amazing!

I've been going to this place for 6 months, and the good experiences have been few and far between. Reception staff are slow, rude, and complacent. They all equally have the bedside manor of a mortician. Every time I've been in this place, staff will stop what they're doing go carry on personal, non-work related conversations. It cN take hours to just get into a line to eventually donate. Phlebotomists here are hit and miss. I've had multiple experiences where I wasn't stuck correctly, and bruised badly.

I made a call to the front desk regarding credentials I needed to bring . Long story short the lady was rude on the phone this morning in the tone and how she would interrupt me in the middle of the conversation. I spoke in a calm respectful tone so I'm not sure why she gave me such a nasty undertone attitude but that made me not want to continue business with them based off that .

Great place to kill time and people watch.

i didn't donate, just was dropping someone off to do so. lady at the desk was rude to me as i moved over a little bit towards where my friend was doing his paperwork and she snapped at me stating ?no no ma?am no you can't help him? i wasn't even trying to help him i literally moved over. and then when checking in my other friend she ordered me to wait in my car or in the lobby since i wasn't donating. i don't mind there being certain procedures and protections, i get why there is and that isn't the problem.

Haven't been back to this place in over 2 months because I was supposed to get my reward of $75.00 on my 2nd donation but I only received $55.00 smh ever since then I haven't been back I won't be going back either because that was wrong as heck plus they don't open at the time they say they open this donation center needs to do better and staff are sometimes mean especially the one worker I won't say her name she needs to work on the way she speaks to people

I called to find out the deal and got things to meet criteria but I had an issue and checked reviews as I waited and have with effort found 2 reviews that didn't get cut off with the response as followes: CSL Plasma (Owner) 4 months ago Hello. We're so sorry to hear about this experience and appreciate your feedback. We're committed to providing a great donor experience and would like to learn more details. Please contact us directly at: 866-275-6800. *GW I laughed at the post from 'D' that said the staff

I seriously can't believe how poorly operational this place is. The vitals staff are all super rude and lazy, stepping away for a "break" after every single patient they check in, matter how long the line is. The back staff are almost always kind and courteous, which is the only reason I give this place two stars instead of one. However even the back operates incredibly poorly. I was in line with two other people, one in front and one behind, for over half an hour. More than half of the donation beds were f

Tacora is unnecessarily rude. Her entire demeanor makes you feel like you are bothering her and unwelcome. Because I expressed the fact I found her attitude unprofessional. I was told to comeback another time. I don't believe I will. I did however file a complaint with CSL plasma before I ever left the parking lot. Tacora, if you don't like your job honey. Find a new one. Some people don't donate for the money and you should learn to be more professional. shame on you. As I was informed. There is audio reco

I wanted to donate plasma at this place in Shop City in Syracuse, NY and they told me that since I didn't speak English I couldn't and I told the person that I understood and I speak very little English. I just wanted to donate but because of the language I can't. For me, this is racism.

All I can say is watch yourself if you decide to "Attempt" to donate. They have a "bully" for a security guard who thinks he's a cop. He will harass you from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars I give CSL a big zero.

I just went in and did the whole screening process. Then when I was finishing up about to donate, they called the manager back and looked at my arms and told me I have too many tattoos, as I have sleeves from being a tattoo artist. Olha told me that they have a policy not to put the needle through skin with ink in it as it" might somehow get Piece of the inked skin through the needle and it would cause an infection or somehow contaminate the sample " . I have donated plasma before, regularly and their ha

First time donors are basically frowned upon and no one is at the desk to check you in even if you wanna be checked in. If you end up being patient and trying to do it on your own without interrupting their flow at the vitals you will never be seen and if you be loud they will give attitude. If you have donated before your all good they like the simple work, but if you are first time you will have a terrible time here they don't want to get you registered or work on you at all. Good luck to everyone who tri

I will make a list at first. Long lines, rude staff, front end will use the bathroom at the same time leaving nobody to take vitals, front end gossips to other co workers while doing my vitals, back end doesn't change gloves, the front end has to say do you agree to have the return of your red blood cell and they don't say it anymore, back end don't wash down chairs even at the end of the shift, some refuse to stick ppl with a needle which makes you rely on one slow person, the bathroom is always dirty in t

As a professional called to inquire of the criteria for donation? was told ? hon? u have to come in.. I asked to not be referred to as hon? her response ?I call everyone hon? and she hung up. Definitely not showing up..

I have been a client with longevity and I am so disappointed in their service and performance some of the staff has the credentials but lacks the humanitarian characteristics that goes along with it. The smile, understanding, privacy, all in all their approach sucks. What's sad about this is that the people who needs plasma to survive are the ones suffering because of this. When are the superiors going to take a sharp look at what is going on??? Resolution is definitely needed.

Don't understand what the negative comments are all about, sure the security guard was playing on his phone but who cares probably was the only place that would hire him .....lol As far as the staff goes top notch very friendly from the second I walked in till I was done donating.

This center for donation is very excellent. The best service I have ever had. I've been going here for years to donate and I have never had a bad experience. The only downfall is the wait. I've never been hurt bruised anything. Great service.

I'll say, the lady that helped us was nice however, My husband and I Came to do a good deed, got shut down. We are military family and drove over an hour to donate plasma, didn't need money, just wanted to help out. We got road block after road block. I couldn't donate because I didn't have my social security card on me, ok fine. We waited patiently, and then my husband couldn't donate because we didn't live on base? I couldn't believe that we got turned away from trying to do something good. If you have pe

Based on the combination of incredibly long wait times, being rejected from donating for a pulse of 101 which is ?too high? and the beyond rude Olha I would give this location a negative number of stars add to that the moronic payment changes. The only saving grace is the very small number of nice and competent employees like True.

This place is amazing!!!! The staff is always so nice and welcoming I've been going here for a few years now. Yes it does get busy and yes we do have to wait but they always maintain to stay professional even on the most busy days. It's very clean never had a problem and they keep up on the cleaning and social distancing. Thanks for everything you do for the donors!

Staff don't communicate to new donors, or returning donor, don't say what u need, came in at 315 was told can't help you today, comeback tomorrow, came the next day at 4, told can't help you after 3 when it takes 3 hrs, but they close at 7, came back the next day, now they said I might have an infection, the dentist said there wasn't an infection last week, when I did my fitting for my dentures, it seems like your staff don't want to work, makes any excuse not to do their job, stopped coming a year an a hal

I am rating this place 1 star because I had to leave something. I live almost 2 hours away but talked with them on the phone and the lady asked my address and zip code amd said was good. I got all the way here and my zip isn't in their book so was for nothing

Everyone is always so friendly and they remember you by your face even though they see so many people weekly they do remember you?? everyone is always friendly ??

This place is spotless clean and a safe environment. The staff members are polite and very knowledgeable in their profession. Plasma is very important for research and life-saving medicines. They are under very strict federal guidelines so can't be for everyone, if interested I would call them for the guidelines . One of the most generous organizations I've ever experienced.

I had to leave a review after my last experience just two days ago. The first time I donated, they had a difficult time because I have small veins and they poked and prodded me, tried both arms, and the next day I woke up to a hematoma in my arm that grew into an enormous bruise that went all the way around to my elbow. I had to wait a month before I could donate again, which was two days ago. So, I just want to give a shout out to their phlebotomist Aleythia (I hope I'm spelling her name right, I only had

Staff is extremely defensive for no reason. I asked what I would need to donate like my fianc?. And she told me original copies however when he went in he didn't have the original copies? this has happened one to many times I understand the frustration but there is no reason to be rude and off putting i I were u I would waste my gas else where ????

I went there on a Wednesday and only had a copy of my SS card. I came back Thursday at 5pm and although their website says they close at 6 I was told they stop taking new clients at 430. I came back Friday at 330 and was told they are short staffed and aren't taking new clients today. I have wasted 12 dollars in bus fae to come out there. I'm giving them 1 star for lack of clarity on their website and for continuing to waste my time.

The process you go through of being able to donate is probably the best way it can be done all of the procedures such as hematocrit levels, weight, temperature once you get through that and are able to donate the process generally goes smoothly. Only issue is I would say which at times can not be helped is that once you are set up to donate and have the needle inserted depending on many things the staff can and do go through your vein but this is always a possibility which can and does cause bruising which

While the idea of this is fantastic, this location is definitely not managed well. There are days where they run out of vital items needed to function. There apparently are days where they can't open till 3.5 hrs after the scheduled opening time, while people start lining up an hour before they open. This hastle causes many patrons to not be able to donate because they are so stressed and frustrated with all the hiccups of the management that their blood pressure is elevated and they get deferred.

I don't think they take these reviews seriously, so many people I know have been bruised and left in pain while donating by an undertrained staff. Clearly it's to the point where corporate is taking whatever the location collects without caring about experience or reputation. Keep in mind that every review below mine complaining about pain or bruising there are dozens more unreported.

Staff is professional and polite. Wait times can be an issue once it's busy but the turn over time is fast. Would recommend if you need quick cash for an hour or two of your time.

Completely unprofessional for handling blood donation and it's proccess. The establishment made me come back 3 different times due to their lack of relaying proper information needed on form details to those trying to donate. Then when I finally arrived with all the correct paperwork with all the correct dates they made me wait for a half hout just to turn me down becuase I got a tattoo in the past 12months........ 8 months ago. I also brought a friend. They kicked him out of the building completely, after

Came back even after receiving this giant bruise just wanted someone who is not brand new to stick me. Olha got short and snippy and stated i cant request anyone else. I didnt have a problem waiting. I didnt have an attitude just kindly requested someone else.

"Honestly I Always Feel Welcomed At The CSL In Shop City Because Really It's All About You, How U Work With Patience In Yourself & Others.. Just Have Better Timing That's All To It.. Be Responsible For Your Own Actions.

I have been giving since they opened. I always feel welcomed, and thanked for my donation. I appreciate the extra money in my pocket. I find it is an ideal place for me to catch up on reading or playing a game on my phone, causes time to fly by.

They are very nice people and they have your safety as there number one priority

Im just ask myself why they contin?e having a very rude and unprofesional people like for example Shaundell...some of them are very polite and respectful..but shaundell is not mentally fit to keeping such position..for what i been seen in the time that i been coming to donate she been treat some patiente like garbage including myself...

This place is going down hill 45 returning donor 1st 2nd time 60 like u didn't change anything then the wait to even donate un real staff at like they don't want to work there I got here at 8:45 am still waiting go on the floor time now 10:20am like they should pay us for are time waiting 3 staff. And only 4 people on the floor where 23 beds open ??

I went today and i choice to not get pinch by Nobody ONLY WITH TRUE ..AND a young Lady name olha she overhear me asking for Him and she star tell me that i dont have no choice by Yelling at me and talking to me with bad actitud ..i reply to her that if you guys dont pinch me to hard i would not call Him and she keep talking to me with actitud so.. I Just ignore her by saying please mind your business ..i know i dont have no choice but is not what you say is how you say..and the times that been came here

Wonderful place. Everyone is very nice. Everything is clean. And the donation chairs are very comfortable. Pay is just like explained and more than expected ??

So very upset and displeased with them I drove from Utica to Syracuse made apt a week prior ask if I be able to since I am from Utica was told okay called to see if I could be compensated for my time that was wasted money that was wasted to have someone watch my two kids and gas and all I get we can't sorry why make me apt just to turn me away and waste my time I went to college I don't drink don't smoke thought I was doing something to help ppl and the response is we don't know Utica area and we not sure i

They turned away my wife because she's overweight, citing "FDA regulations." Per the FDA website: the regulations to donate based on weight is that someone needs to be at least 110lbs. They don't deserve anyone's business. Not ever.

I was a deleted donor who had not been there in over a year and a half.I saw a lot of new faces working there. The technician Jeremy was very personable and very helpful with all my questions. It was a good experience

Crazy what these employees will do to avoid helping customer and keeping the line moving. Need a supervisor on deck at all times or these employees will not be productive

So go in and donate waited there for an hour and a half to even get on the tables then they're still under staff so I guess the manager and the charge nurse came out to help out so they called me to come sit down in the seat the guy comes over does this prep and sticks the needle hard right into my arm then he was like oops I didn't hit it he started moving the needle around inside my arm then they try to get it from the other arm then he want straight with the needle in my arm this time they went betwe

Very slow and understaffed. Employees that are there, are good. But such a lack of staff. Sat in line for over an hour before even getting to the chair

This place is a joy to visit! The staff especially marla, may, kara and alaythia. They were wonderful. They make saving lives as pain free as possible. However there are some staff there that are a nightmare to work with. They condescend and belittle at every chance I will never affiliate with csl again

The staff at this center are all very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend donating plasma here at this center. Donating plasma is so important and it saves lives. The staff at this CSL Plasma location explained to me about how important donating is, they are all very educated and they take their jobs serious. Five stars!!!

I don't understand why people are so mad at csl, especially since it's voluntary so if you don't like it don't go

BEWARE.. The one manager plays favoritism to certain people. He also puts notes in your files when he is not supposed to. and just because he's a manager the people that are donating don't get a fair chance.. good luck to you all and hopefully don't get the same treatment I did

Long wait time until you actually get to the donation floor but besides that, the staff was awesome. Shaundell was my favorite.

It's always something with this place 1st time I came I needed paperwork but didnt get a appointment come back with the paperwork now I get a appointment come back again the nurse tells me it looks like I take drugs cuz of the mark on my arm from a iv on the hospital now 3 ppl back 2 back cant donate because the temperature is high I told them I think it's the machine they tell me 2 come back 2morrow smh

Corporate needs to shut this place down I am here at 1 PM on a Saturday and there's a sign on the door that says we are closed for the remainder of the day. Seems like these lazy people want to work whenever they decide to work. Absolute waste of time coming here.

Place sucks. Takes you 5 hours to get out. No professionalism. Expect the worst

I've had a good experience..however i have seen some staff be very rude to individuals who are donating. If you say anything to anyone about what happened to you..you will be told to leave.

The staff there are absolutely disrespectful and look down upon people it's truly sad. I went there at least 4 times and the 4th time I witnessed two staff members being so sarcastic and disrespectful to a young lady

This place is a big joke

I come here often and always am treated to the best of their abilities.

Employees are nice and the rewards are good, but they are never open! Get there in the morning because good luck trying after noon

Jay did an amazing job I personally would recommend anyone to him keep up the good work jay

Plan on spending the day at this place, awful!!! To much talking and not enough working. Poor management of people!!!!!

I like the people that work there very nice and the place is clean . Just wish it was a little faster

It's a nice place and staff is friendly. They can help you a lot if you're looking to put a little extra in the pocket.

Asked how much I would get paid for using this service and was told I was prank calling and sated ?I can't do this? and hung up on me? still haven't gotten my answer.

Great staff, my only complaint is that they're keeping people outside when it gets busy

Csl Plasma is a bad and annoying experience the employee ask for weird and questions and the experience is got not good

Between over an hour wait times, one rude staff member and them not honoring my request for a different staff member to place the needle in my arm I would not consider going back.

The staff is amazing ???? I love the vibe ??

Hearing it's a great place and I hear about this plasma stuff is making a big difference in alot of health groups. They our now opened I physically went in and asked myself good luck to all that it helps

Wait in long line. Then get told to go see nurse. The nurse is not attending to patients...line builds. The management of this location is incompetent.

Wow I was so moved I called Syracuse CSL plasma location I have bn donating plasma for csl more than a year I thought I was part of a Team national wide but Syracuse location made me fall like I was was not part of nothing I couldn't donate unless I was there for eight weeks i felt like bad

Earl was so patient with everything he's the best !!!!

Staff are nice but they need more employees.

Sweet and kind people I would recommend that you go there

When their system is down don't expect to get paid or a definitive answer when you will
