This place is horrible. I've been donating plasma for 2-3 years and never experienced what happened to me on April 15th 2025. Go to donate and within 10 minutes, my arm feels tingly and is on fire. The ?nurse? inserted the needle sideways and blew out my vein. I go back on April 21st and they tell me I can't donate because of the massive bruising THEY caused. They told me to stop using ice and to switch to heat and made it bigger! I go back today and they still tell me I can't donate because of the bruising
Was in the office for almost 4 hours and still had not even finished the prerequisite to donate. People who walked in hours after me were seen in front of me. I was expecting to wait 3 to 3 1/2 hours for the whole process but to not even be seen is pretty absurd. As a new donor I would not listen to previous comments about how quick this location is because I saw none of that at my visit. Updated review: while I did wait an outrageous amount of the time it was acknowledged by staff and was addressed in the
This is my 2nd time coming to CSL in temple terrace, I enjoy the staff and have never had a bad experience. The staff offer insight if needed and are very patient when interacting with costumers. I will never go to another Plasma center. This is the BEST medical technology to help others. GOD BLESS
I had a great experience at CSL Plasma! From start to finish, the staff was professional, kind, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable and walked me through the donation process, answering all my questions along the way. The facility was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. A special shoutout to Precious and Gwen, who truly went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. They were so thoughtful, warm, and kind, which made the entire experience even better. Precious took the time to ensure I was
They r terrible. I've been using both locations Fowler and here. There was a blue and white card that you would use. For both locations. They assigned me the New Black card without checking in the system which one I had. And then these idiots made it to where the whole system changed and where they can't even press one dang on button for the blue card! Knowing that some people still were using the old card they didn't give none of us a memo. That was changing. So MY $$ WENT TO MY OLD CARD. AND THEY ARE THR
The pace is punctual, Clean and the staff is polite and intent Ive , since the manger Ashly has really set the tone & raised the bar alot from it was like years ago?..
I'm on vacation and normally don't donate outside of the center I work at but gave this one a try. 10/10 loved the experience. Reception was very friendly and nice, they explained the new card perfectly. Msa was also very quick to answer any questions I had about my yearly and friendly to speak to. Lastly loved the phlebotomist, I wish I got his name to thank him but he did perfect, my own staff doesn't even like my vein but he did amazing and it went so smooth without any alarms. Keep up the good work ! -
Grace was awesome!!! I would recommend anyone to this facility she did great coaching very relaxing. Very professional 10/10
I've been coming to this location for years and it's more of a miss than a hit, most the time they're miserably understaffed, and it's so hard to get a hold of them through the phone. Plus they went significantly down on the fees paid to donors.
I've donated 5 times already and I can say it's a very fast environment and it's quick and easy. Also Stefanie is a great worker and also has a beautiful smile ! Good job ??
Overall was an amazing experience at CSL Temple Terrace. The kindness, cleanliness and guidance was immaculate. Thank you to the staff and management for having a 5 star establishment. Reception: Spoke with Kimberly on the phone prior to my donation, she was very kind and informative. I was also lucky enough to be assisted by Kimberly with my New Donor process upon arrival. She definitely set me up for success. Vitals: Tranasha reviewed all my information with me making sure I understood all questions. Wa
I've been coming to this exact location for a couple years. Overtime they have improved drastically. Wait times can vary simply based off the time which they can't control but I will say I came as a returning new donor today 9/16/24 & I was out within 2 hours that's including the donation itself. It took me 27 minutes only to donate thanks to their new machine it was great I will continue to return. Would recommend giving it a try if you need that extra money & want to help others.
Ashley big congratulations is in order you are much more than a hired manager you're a leader. I've watched you turn this place completely around. Your hard work and dedication has poured over into your team and it shows. No doubt it has been a group effort as I see the core team members are still intact. You and your team should definitely be proud of what y'all have accomplished. Keep it up! ????
Customer service sucks here! Went in once to see how the atmosphere was, wanted to see the difference from my normal donation center. Long story short I was deferred unknowingly due to me telling the rep I had a card already multiple times and she continued to ignore me and scan another. I then repeated, I have a card already & asked if she has scanned the new one. She replied yes, and I immediately said why would you do that if I told you I already have one and she replied I deleted it already. Her acce
all of the workers are rude, wouldn't recommend even trying to donate they don't even get to you. wish there was a 0 star option
Kimberly and Gwendolyn are always so kind and sweet, they always make me feel taken care of!! Clean center and the rest of the staff are great too :-) only thing that I could complain about are the long wait times.
the new machine tube came undone, my blood was all in the machine and they deferred me because of there own mistakes. Staff is rude and doesn't have the proper education on how to find good veins. won't be returning
I was sent from one CSL Plasma Place To this one due to poor Management and Workers.. As soon as arrived I was immediately helped by Ms.Cynthia a Wonder Technician. I recommend temple terrace location instead of Fowler and 56th..
Julia was very comforting and professional. She answered the many questions I had and then at the end of my 1st donation, she made sure to check in on me. Great location, staff was mostly friendly but Julia is the reason I will be returning.
I wonder when CSL will see what kind of amazing Job The Crew do Daily... Especially One Lady Name Jacky.... She always looks amazing... smiles n keeps it Up with the hard work. I appreciate It everytime... TY.... Time for a Raise CSL ... This Lady needs 2 Be Loved BK... Period!!!
Temple terrace location open after the hurricane? I tried calling but straight to voicemail and don't want to drive all the way there with the gas shortage if it's not open. Some of the google hours haven't been accurate about businesses being opened
First, I am a returning donor but had to do the new donor process (been a yr since last donation) Secondly, I waited well OVER a hr to be seen then had the worst experience ever. Got weighed @149.8lb then begged to get re weighed as I weighed 153lb two days ago. Asked to speak to the ?manager? and got talked to very rudely & said i ?should be happy? that .2lb is stopping me from getting the full $100. I started crying because I was really counting on the full amount as I'm a single mother. While full on cry
First visit took 4 1/2 hours. And THEY caused a small bruise on my left arm. Moved the needle to the right arm and all is well. Second visit however, First the picture they took wasn't good enough so had to redo that. Then had to go get the bruise looked at to be documented but they decided no its to long so by by until friday. I walked out and told them I wont be back. Almost two hours to be told that. Nice waste of time.
My first time giving plasma and the staff could not have been nicer or more professional. Much better experience than I anticipated. In and out in 2 and a half hours. I'll be back next week!
it's super convenient.. Even though the pay is a little less than some others, I value the time I save getting in and out more.. Julia is my favorite. Always a smile even when it's busy. Center is even better with Ashley managing, she is always on the floor helping!
This specific location I always get a bad poke .This visit I was extremely uncomfortable had to get a restick , almost passed out i am done donating plasma all together!!! after the lack of experience of the worker the worker stuck me in the same place i had a scar from last donation assuming it would be a vein there they Failed to feel for a vein . Arm is very sore and I hope it doesn't get worst this is day 4 bruising .
Cynthia was an amazing help! She was really sweet and welcoming and her customer service is A1! Thank you Cynthia!
I'll admit, it's not always a great experience (LONG wait time) but Kimberly is absolutely amazing and I really appreciate her willingness to help others and she made my donation amazing today! Thank you Kimberly!!
My cousin was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia and was told I can donate plasma to help patients like her. I decided to check this location out to do my good deed, as it's conveniently close to my studio and can come in between clients if I want to. I just completed my first month?s donation and I've always enjoyed my experience coming in. The staff is very friendly and informative. I enjoy doing my check in vitals with Miss Lisa. I think she's sweet and answers any questions I have. Tahj, Carlito, Brittany,
I have been taking my husband here at this location ever since they temporarily closed the one on fowler ave because of Milton in October, I find this location in Temple Terrace is alot way better then the one on fowler ave , fowler ave location is slow not enough people but the security guard Leonard is awesome, MY husband is finished with in 1 hour in half the other place at least 2 hrs and then some times longer then that and the parking not too good either.
Writing this review just to give Christy kudos. Extremely kind and friendly, she clearly goes above and beyond to give everyone a great screening experience. I've never smiled and laughed during my screening before! Amazing patient rapport.
It's Always a fast paced environment and precious stuck me so smoothly I didn't feel it at all.
This place use to be great had no issues in the past donating and now its totally different seems like a majority of the staff setting you up could care less about you x xx they are just there for the check ...i came back in as a returning donor and my first donation they really stuck me wrong bruised instantly so i had to wait until i could come back because of bruising then second donation was even worse horrible bruising again go and get red flagged because of the bruising.. I've been there two other tim
I always have a really good experience at this location! Staff is patient and caring. Some people I'd like to shoutout for their exceptional care : Nina, Katalina(or Katarina?) Christy, Kyra, Stephanie, Reece.
It took a lot longer than I thought, got there at 9:20 and left at 2:30 but they were working as fast as they could. It was an overall good experience, Kimberly was super nice and I'd go back.
I TRULY RECOMMEND THIS AREA! SUPER FAST SERVICE! The staffs are the best and will go about their way to make the environment so comfortable. I enjoy how they make everyone "FEEL LIKE FAMILY". COME JOIN ME IN DOING AMAZING THINGS WITH CSL Plasma! -Daimen Carson (Loyal Donor)
The small staff they have is not friendly, helpful or informative about anything. The only person that is helpful and nice is Dee. The wait times are unreal. Be ready to stay at least 4hrs. There is no structure of this place. I have even seen the phlebotomists not changing gloves when working with patients. Beware!
What an experience! First, walking into the center, the overall vibe was relaxed & very welcoming. Shontel the security, greeted me with a very warming "Hello & Welcome". Gwen was very prompt and helpful resolving a check-in issue. My screener Christy was hilarious & made my screening unforgettable. Jacky my Phlebotomist provided an amazing experience & the plasma was flowing with no pain. Jacky then disconnected me from machine and made it a complete pain free experience. This center is very organized and
So I'm still in the donor line as I write this, but being a donor coming from the east Fowler location (absolutely horrible place) and then coming here has been a breath of fresh air. Everyone here takes pride in their work and actually want to help you. And by heavens Ms. Gwendolyn was the best experience of it all. She is the nicest lady I have ever met through all my donation history. She is that type of person that everyone working with her should strive to be (not saying they aren't great also) but she
I took a donor here for his first time today. All in all it was a positive experience. He said the donation part was not as traumatic as he feared and was very pleased with the compensation. The shining star to our visit though was Mariah at the front desk. She is friendly, efficient, enthusiastic and a dynamo - never slowing down. You company is truly fortunate to have her! The facility is clean and my donor was impressed with how thorough the staff was with background instructions, etc. I would lik
Went to this location stood there and waiting for a while and no one talked to me at the new donor counter for like 20 minutes so did some searching and discovered as a biolife place where I could get an appointment for next tomorrow and they pay more money so I left. Thanks for pointing me to the BioLife place location
I used to come here and had to stop for personal reasons but this week I came back and could have sworn it was under new management BUT it wasn't! They weaved out the bad and kept the best. Britt is by far one of the BEST along with so many of the others idk by name. Keep up the awesome atmosphere change, I know I can't be the only one loving this new CSL
Had a great experience today for my first time. Arrived at 830am and left at 1145am. It wasn't a very long wait for anything.. there were just many things I had to do as a first time donor..such as physical, video and vitals. This had to be done before I could donate. The actual donation part only took about 45 minutes. When I arrived there were already about 20 people in line that were return donors. But it seemed as that line moved quick. They were professional, friendly and welcoming workers. I'll defini
AVOID AT ALL COSTS Under staffed and poor customer service by Stephanie, the manager and the Islamic medical attendant. After waiting in line for 4.5 hrs, I was on the phone talking to my ride outside of medical to give them an update letting them know how much longer it was going to take. The manager came over and asked me to leave or she was going to call the cops and have me trespassed. I asked why and she said because I was complaining about the wait time and service. I told her I was having a private
I've donated at this center several times over the last year now. Usually they are pretty good and quick. However today I had to run out to my car real quick during my screening and grab my phone. When I came back in my heart rate was too high so I had to do a retake. I told them I had an interview I need to get to by a certain time and I would rather them just try one more time and if I fail then I can just come back another day. I didn't have time to waste. They said no and I ended up waiting 15 minutes f
Cynthia is very polite and knowledgeable. She always has a smile on face and she's very kind.
I give them 5 stars because their techs are phenomenal! They move fast but most importantly they are attentive. Eddie and Sydney are outstanding at patient care and safety. Thank you a million times for your service!
I'm currently at plasma place now and I've been waiting just to see somebody for 2 hours as I watched 2 employees lean on wall for 15 min not doing anything but talking and laughing it's very frustrating to watch employees lean on wall when i been waiting 2 hours to get seen I'll probably never visit this location agian when I asked emploee who is in charge of the section I was waiting in her response was I'm in training with an attuite if that's the type of people u hire then place will never get the custo
Yall come on down to the csl in temple terrace my favorite reception tech ms.gwendolyn is here
Please explain how you guys are getting away with all the laws you guys are braking. No one cleans, you guys are under staff, you guys take your sweet time and don't think about the people donating, it's not that you guys get a lot of people it's the effort your employees are given. You guys are putting people in and out without a care, people are messing up the sticks because you guys are rushing. How is it you have the time to sit there until the phone stops ringing and take it off once it stops ringing
Always have a good experience here. Staff is awesome very professional. Their manager Mr. Young is always there to help and answer any questions. Very professional and knowledgeable. Recommend this place to anyone wanting to earn money and save time with quick service.
First off I would like to say there wasn't not 1 problem with the kiosk # 2 the screener was very kind. She read out everything to me as she was trained to do. #3 the phlebotomist was professional I can tell because I've been donating long enough to know a pro. And she injected the needle without me feeling it. That's a plus to me keep up the good work. And #4 on an overall the staff is working hard. oyou alk
Staff is very kind but there isn't enough. It's really frustrating waiting over an hour in the screening line when there's 7 booths but only one open. This happens almost every time I come here. Why have all that infrastructure if you aren't going to staff it? Also very frustrating seeing people standing around or going on break with a long line.
Love it have a good rotation pattern in nd out Senior center manager Ashely is awesome and works hard to get patients in and out . And really pretty lol but all jokes aside well organized and the staff are amazing.
Definitely love Jackie?s attitude she's very professional and I don't feel the stick also like Maria in the front quick and to the point
They only have one person working to take vitals, the wait alone is for that is hour then u get in the line and still waiting it's basically three hours wait, they need to close this place down, they have no one working here and the all managers are in the office just laughing and not even helping there short hand staff they. Eed new managment
Currently filing a complaint on the management. Extremely dishonest and doesn't hold them selves accountable. I'm a combat veteran with ptsd so I'm not going tolerate having my arm yanked and when I ask to speak to a supervisor even I didn't say one word to the lady I get deferred for two weeks when she knows and I know if the cameras had audio that I wasn't being rude by rolling my eyes. If I don't receive an apology for rude I was treated by both management staff whatever corporate does with their jobs is
I'm surprised that this location has such a low score. If any of the reviewer's have ever been to any of the other plasma donation centers in the area they would know that this place is by far the cleanest facility and the staff here are always a pleasure to be around. It does get a little busy, but snow bird season and showing up when everyone is getting out of work is going to do that. There's lots of ways to get around the busy times. I just did my 100th donation here and I'm going for 100 more!
CSL is very fortunate to have the skilled and professional performance of both Carlito and Jullian. Thank you two so much!! Cheers good folks.
Some phelobotimist are awesome and some need to go back in training. I had a horrible experience made worse by the female manager I spoke with saying it was partly my fault. When you tell someone it's enough and to wait for someone else they should do exactly that.
After spending over an hour trying to get through to someone the previous day I finally got through over the phone. The person from CSL who answered the phone told me just to come in they don't do appointments after I expressed that we would be first time donors. I got down there quarter till 7 AM they said they were behind and did not open until just before 730. Once I get in they said we do not have The staff to take first time donors. I appreciate you and your business wasting over 3 1/2 hours of my lif
They need more people working, they need to hire more people. Don't know what the problem is. It just takes too long now to even go down there, especially if you're coming 18 miles away, have to spend 3 hours just before you get to the vital station. It's not even worth it anymore.
I've donated here several times. I've had okay experiences here, the area is clean but lately it's been really ridiculous. Today I saw a line of nurses standing while there was only one working. Only one worker was taking care of people that did the kiosk with a line of 16 other people waiting in line. You would think this place would be more considerate & have more than one person working with the amount of people waiting but it's been like this for weeks now. It shouldn't take me over 2hrs - 2hrs 30 mins
This is a zoo or an animal house. Very busy and slow. The people that frequent this location are one step up from troglodyte. I will not be back. Try BioLife or any other service.
If I can give -0 I would.i am a current donor and last two times I donated I didn't receive my whole payment for donating.i am not going to donate for half of what u guys sent me I called and text customer service and they gave me the run around.not happy I am not going to donate here if this is not fixed.and another there's a couple of workers their that need some training on customer service if they don't like customer service then u in the wrong job
Do not come here if you're Hispanic.. first of all the lady at the front desk for the first time donors asked me if I knew English ?? I guess that's important like your blood type.. I'm guessing she asked me bc of my accent. After that I gave her my license and social, a couple of minutes goes by and then she returns just to say that bc I'm not a citizen I can't donor. ?? I'm perfectly legal btw.. so if you want to void a really bad experience just go to somewhere else.
CSL plasma is very welcoming. Jacky has a very beautiful soul inside and out. Makes me feel very much at home. I also like Maria too
The staff is really friendly. The first time it took about three hours, but that was also because it took my body 51 min to donate for the first time. The second time I went it only took me 36 min to donate and a little over an hour overall. It's worth it considering you'll make a couple bucks and help save lives.
My husband went up there and donated he was listening to music and dancing closed eyes for a few seconds feeling the music. A lady there that had already spoken about him once said you can't have your eyes closed. He said he didn't. She got an attitude with him so he didn In return. You treat back how you get treated. So than he was done and they left the needle in him. He called me and they told him no talking on the phone in back. So he hung up with me. The guy said since we had this incident today
Did the donor survey wrong and put disagree for everything sorry. Also thanks Chelsea
BEWARE... 1. CSL has a app. They make it seem all professional and easy peasy UNTIL you get there . You get treated like a slave and you don't mean anything but a number to then. 2. I made a appointment on my app. They made it seem awesome . Show up. Oh we don't deal with the app at all
I'd give fewer stars if there was an option, but I just want to give any potential first time donors a heads up to not waste your time or money going here. Ive tried multiple times to do my first time donation after already setting up my account online. Multiple times I've called ahead and confirmed that they are taking new donors, and each time I arrive to be told that they are not taking any new donors today and should come back ?tomorrow.? Each time there has been a different excuse (system is down, medi
Line is always out the door, poor staff members. I can be done in 45 minutes but instead i am always here 3+ hours as a return donor on any day of the week. Plan to have your entire day wasted here. Have plans later? Forget about them. Finally their machine messed up. I tried to wave someone down for 30mins to get someone to fix it. I was ignored by two people until finally the third fixed it. I'm definantly finding a new center soon. They are making bank $3000-$5000 per container they draw. There is no re
The CSL Plasma team, specifically Maria and Lupa, do an amazing job with the checkin/screening process for donors since they're extremely fast. From end-to-end, the entire team is professional, efficient, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this site!
We enjoy serving our donors, we try our best to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience. I have been donating at CSL for a couple of years and that is the reason i decided to pursue a career in this field. As a donor i didn't understand about of who was supposed to do what to get through the process, now since working here i can clearly see both sides of the coin. To make your donation go smoothly as possible drink plenty of water the day before and try not to eat fatty foods the day before your donation
These people treat you lice trash. Also they are too much full of themselves to acknowledge they did something bad. When here and I wast treatdes like some ilegal person. Never in my life im going to a place like this. Is there a way that I can contact corporate?
I am a regular donor, but I feel like it is too long of a wait in line for vitals, over an hour! Then, I had to wait to see medical while they were training... The donation process should not take over an hour & a half for return donors!
Great Team; Keep up the good work. Thank you Ms Gwendelyn for your outstanding work as a hero that saves lifes! ??
Hey I came in today Absolutely horrid service, stood in a line for 3 hrs because the workers refused to call the next donor, all of them just stood in a circle and proceeded to talk and not work. Would not recommend
Attended 12/13. I was so pleased with my experience. I have never been treated so well by staff at a plasma facility ever! I knew a lot of employees from BPL and I have to say the facility is so clean. It is bigger and so much more professional. I actually enjoyed donating and cannot wait to return. I was use to forever waiting, a fight breaking out,and unprofessional staff CSL Temple Terrace does not give off any of those traits. I would have liked if staff did not stand around while you find something ???
The person working in the front (I believe her name is Lisette) is rude. She tries her best to make it impossible for a person to donate. She puts words into people's mouth. She has a rude attitude and should definitely be removed from the front and made a janitor or machine tech! No matter how much friendly the other staff might be when I come into contact with them doesn't change my first impression on your center!!! If I could give you zero stars I would simply based on her nasty attitude.
Never opens on time. I stand out there for 2 hrs, 1 of the hours AFTER they were supposed to open. Now they are shortening the hours. Who runs this place, a bad manager or a Corporation that allows their employees to dictate when they feel like opening?
I've been donating for 10 years in a total of five states over ten years and CSL is by far the best place I've ever been to I will always continue to come back to CSL.
The staff here is very receptive, friendly, and gracious. However the wait times are variable depending on staff. Some days the time spent does not equate to the compensation. The efficiency needs to be improved.
blew my vain, Hematoma from wrist to elbow, then when I went to donate 4 days later would not let me donate, told me I had to file a report, then told could not donate for 2 weeks, went back 2 weeks later told i could not donate and I complained why am i not getting paid, manager gave me 10 bucks, 2 days later was able to donate. so that was clear right, NO, so for 4 consecutive visits was paid new 100 which should have been for 9 visits and then dropped to 50 so yesterday I was only paid 50 bucks, when q
The absolute worst place to go. I called b4 I left and was told to come on in. I get there and they said they were understaffed and they was not taking new donors. The exact same thing happened the day b4 in lakeland. I called b4 I left and had made appointment on the app. I get there and was told same thing. Understaffed and they wouldn't take me. After I had gotten a dog sitter and barrowed gas money both days. They are scammers and I have lost money bcuz they lied both times. Nasty people and dirty place
First donation and let's just say I definitely had a scare I'm not one to be a baby cry over things but when I was half way through my donation I started to feel dizzy and nauseous my toes started to tingle (My fault) I honestly panicked but the staff at CSL was amazing I wanted to cry so bad but the comfort and care they gave me was beyond words they really put their all into this job I wish I had the names of the 3 workers that helped me I didn't have a chance to get them but I just want to thank you guys
Donating plasma is so dangerous. The phlebotomists are very stern, I don't always trust their really watching the machines to make sure we don't have to sit their once the donation is complete. And some of them put the needle in so hard and it hurts like hell. They need better bedside manner
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
