I'm leaving a review for my boyfriend. This place is absolutely horrible. He's never had issues donating anywhere else, but when he Tries to donate it's like they always give him a runaround.. he is a new donor currently they're having him watch videos since he's a new donor, which is understandable but when it comes to donating, they always give him Like I said, the run around ..! and always basically say they didn't get plasma ? i mean what are you guys doing wrong.? at the other centers they get all the
I usually have a good day at CSL plasma. The phlebotomists there are courteous, professional and skilled, especially Justin. I I barely felt a sensation, I couldn't even call it pain, when Justin put the needle in my arm today for the plasmapheresis.
Justin has been the best at making me laugh and feel comfortable, always making my visit fast. This Guy should get a big raise. ??????
Ms Bailey is pretty dope she takes her time pays attention and makes sure yur ready before she starts working on you always ready to greet you with a smile and how your doing and Mr Justin is great Man he's been here for a great while and has never changed still a great person all around decent people! ??
Almost 40 yrs old and now I feel how it is to be discriminated against. Besides a bully or two in grade school, ive never felt so sub-human in my life. I was born with a rare birth defect/anomaly called Poland Anomaly. I've been donating for at least three years at other places with no problem. Nothing wrong with me besides underdevloped toes and a underdeveloped left pectoralis major. Honestly, I want to take further action besides this here review. Absolutely horrible experience there.
This is one of the best donating places I love to go to. The staff is always so friendly, never rude. And they do a good job poking you too. Never a bad time in there. And it's so fast!
Always polite and respectful. They do there best to get you in and out and make sure your comfortable during the process. I see posts about long lines. No matter how long the lines are I've never waited longer than 2 hrs. Where else can you go for under 2 hours and make $50. They have a great staff including Justin, Kelly, Corrina, Summer, and many more I just can't remember all the names. It's a hard job and they're on their feet all day long meeting the demands the best they can. ??
This is the 3rd facility I've donated at & I think it is the best. All the staff are friendly & prompt. Always check on you. Very polite by thanking you for donating & have a nice day. Always ready for friendly conversation. I don't feel like they are there to just do a job, they actually care. Haven't met 1 yet that is not experienced & trained properly. This will be my last & only facility to donate at. Thanks everyone for caring so much.
The people that work there are very nice and great at there job very productive and professional 100%.
Very nice people but lack of communication. I had slight bruising and they had to switch arms on my last donation. They suggested I alternate arms but never said bruising over 2 inches would delay my next donation until after Dr signed off on it. I'm not mad they have to follow fda regulations I'm just upset no one advised me so I could ice bruise or use warm compress and not waste a trip. Overall a good place to donate so far.
Csl plasma is a great place. The staff welcome you and thank you. They make you feel comfortable. The wait is long tho to get back onto the donor floor. More staff needed. Justin is indeed the best sticker. I always get nervous unless Justin sticks me. Even when he doesn't think he can hit my vein he gets it with no problem. If I had to recommend any sticker it would be Justin all the way... Please get more staff
These people are ridiculous Not only do they like to deffer people for anything but they DO NOT HAVE INTEGRITY WHAT SO EVER. Called corporate and since then they Keep Giving me and others I know more problem...None of my family or friend will be going back.
This place is good until it isn't! They make up rules as they go and will wrongfully defer you. They won't tell you that you can't wear bronzer lotion then will accuse you of covering up bruises. Dealing with management is impossible they don't fix the issue and let the staff do the deferrals without investigating it. Cece one of the managers at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. All 3 managers will claim to look into the issue and call you back then none of them do. The MSA that did my ini
Horrible. It's ALWAYS horrible here. The lines wrapped around the place. Waiting an hour and a half to two hours standing there in line. It's awful. The staff talks too much and don't work enough. They are slow slow slow. Gotten to the point I won't even come here anymore. It's not worth it to stand in line that long for a little money.
I have been a plasma doner for a very long time, donated at many different centers over what is close to 30 years. This center far exceeds the professionalism and doner respect I've experienced at any other center... Anywhere. Starting with the centers manager Tara, who ensures her ship runs smoothly, with an amazing work ethic, to those who do the screening like Anna or Summer. And Nancy who always makes screening fun, sharing a little laugh or two during the process. Also there are those on the doner floo
When will you be open again? I left my wallet there a couple days ago and due to your water main issues I can't get in to get it. I can't get money or food or anything at the the moment. Can someone please just walk into the office and get my wallet for me? I am hungry and can't buy food or do anything at the moment!!!
Bro !! Wth !!! Been here a few times but today GOT DAMN lil homies were tryna pass up my arm and $$$$
I am a regular at this center and have had mostly great experiences here! Javen and Maverick are definitely my two favorite people on the floor! I always love the ladies in medical as well, as they are always friendly and helpful!
I have donated off and on for a very long time and CSL is my favorite center. They are always friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Justin Johnson, he is always so quick to answer questions and fix any issues.
Thos is my first time doing a review. Thank you Ana! I actually have a great time donating. All of the phlebotomist are so fun and friendly. The medical and screening staff are fantastic. The only one I have issues with is Nancy. She doesn't seem to be a people person. Sometimes rude. If one of the other screeners ask for help from her she responds with 'that's not my job'! Not a good thing to say out loud in front of everyone. Doesn't seem to be a team player.
Everyone at my location is friendly and nice..Taylor is a total sweetheart. They are make me feel like family and they always check on me. I also like the new machine
Justin is an awesome CSL employee. He is one of the few can hit a vein right off the bat. He is very polite and alway answers any questions I might have. Thanks Justin
Wait times are a little long. Clean facility. Kelly, the Sr phlebotomist is amazing. She's efficient and pays attention. Her bedside manner is the best!!!
I have a very good experience every time I go to CSL everyone is so helpful and friendly and I must say that Justin creates a laid-back relaxed atmosphere and Clarissa is a very good conversationalist
Best PLACE in town. The staff are ALWAYS happy and helpful. They are ALWAYS professional ...and confident. They are trully thankful for my donation and they make me comfortable before during and after the WHOLE process. Great Place...
It's been a few years ago since I went there they had trouble poking my vein and I put it down as I said I disconnected early and I never wanted to get disconnected early and because of it I can't go back there ??
Great staff, always nice. Justin is the best there. He is nice, he gets it every time, and my arm is never bruised. Promote him for sure.
Kaylee the phlebotomist is amazing and very kind. You can tell management runs this place well. I've been to other donation centers in town and CSL is by far the fastest, cleanest and most friendly donation center.
I've become a fan of this center over all the other ones! I donated in Muncie Indiana and it doesn't really run as smoothly as this one. Ana is absolutely wonderful. She is very kind and will make sure if she doesn't know an answer she will go find it and let you know! :) good job terre haute Indiana CSL!!!
This place has slowed down. There also should be a showered policy before Donating..standing in line next to someone who smells like the haven't showered in weeks for an hour is not cool. SHOWER PEOPLE! ??
Today was my first visit , I was helped by a gentleman named Justin and he was awesome. Talked me through the whole process and answered any questions I had . He was very relaxed which helped me with my anxiety!
Update: After going back and trying again, I was able to get through the first-time donor process pretty quickly. I've since been back multiple times and most of the people here are very nice to deal with. Of course, there are occasionally some issues, but usually everything is fine and I am able to donate in a timely manner. Original review: Tried going there today as a first-time donor, and the service here is just horrible. The girl I spoke to told me to wait, and so I did. For 20 minutes, I got absolut
Sat for an hour just waiting after watching the start video on my first time back in months. They took countless people back that walked in before me, and then I was told I had to wait two days to come back. They did not explain just told me to leave. I took a day off work to come and sit through this process just to be told to leave with no explanation and was told I'd have to complete everything again. Communication helps a lot in this situations, and they are severely lacking it.
These stars are for Justin!!! Excellent phlebotomy work! I still can't believe that I didn't feel the prick at all!?!!!
Been donating here for a few years. Always great service from start to finish. Great staff. Kelly the ??, I finally made a review.
They are good people. Maverick is good at his job. He makes sure that your doing good and not having any issues.
This was my first time donating plasma, so I was very anxious going in. I was helped by Cardelia, and she was amazing and went above and beyond to help me with everything. She helped me during every step of the screening process, and answered all the questions I had. She was incredibly kind and eased my anxiety, and I felt more confident and at ease for my plasma donation. Cardelia is a star employee, and she is the reason I will be coming back to donate more. The other staff were all very friendly and hel
I had an awful experience. I went here for my first time ever donating. When the male nurse inserted the needle he was shaking a lot. I expressed I was experiencing discomfort. After 10 minutes he started to explain that my vein is probably rolling because there is a off and on suction occurring. Pulling the insertion out a quarter ways does he begging to make a swirling motion with the tip of the needle inside of my arm. After a couple of minutes he comes back with another lady while telling me he was goin
Super clean and Taylor the screener is always the best! Justin and Caleb always have a joke and a smile
This place is a joke. I donated here 8 times before they told me I have something wrong with my blood. I went to the doctor and did some testings a week prior, and I don't have nothing wrong with my "blood"...I am healthy. These people are not doctors and cannot diagnose you with something. It's a joke. And then this morning my husband goes in and there are only 2 people working and only 1 out of those 2 are working because the other one is laying down on a bed taking a nap. Do better.
Very nice people always friendly make you feel at home type of atmosphere caring and always dealing well in there job. Wouldn't go nowhere else ????
CSL 265 has the best staff! They are very clean and friendly. I wouldn't donate anywhere else. Kelly D is a blast!
CSL has been like family to me they are gentle and they are kind and loving and very professional keep up the good work guys and ladies
After donating for months with acne on my arms now it's a big issue and are refusing to let me donate due to it. It was reported to corporate and even they said acne is allowed and will deal with this issue.
I actually enjoy going to sell plasma here, it's a relaxing environment. The employees are warm and friendly, yet professional. Also everything seems very clean, the bathrooms are clean no matter what time I go there. Also, and this is really important to me, they never bruise me, they're gentle when they stick you. 5 stars!
Justin is really good at his job he talks to you and does well at sticking you on the first try I have never had issues with him
I hate this place. They bruise you and then tell you that you can't come back because they left a bruise. The wait is long. They have a "hydration station" that's always empty. Honestly I dread finishing out my next 6 visits. I can't wait until they are over so I can be done with them.
Their phlebotomist messed up a lot, it stopped me from being able to donate. I won't be going back. I've donated at other facilities in the past and not had the complications I've had here. Their staff are clearly over worked and undertrained. I will not be back.
One person there was super friendly, professional. Otherwise, I will not be back. I have chemical sensitivity, and they refuse to work with me. I literally can not breathe well in their facility. They use plug in room air fresheners that cause me horrible health issues. Bad customer service.
They kicked me out of the waiting area because I had my daughter. Now I wasn't donating but my husband was and the car started to overheat and my daughter and I had to go inside to cool off. Now we weren't loud or disturbing anybody we just needed a min to breath on some cool air and they kicked us out without even caring that I, a seven months pregnant women, and my daughter, four years old, were about to pass out from heat stroke. These people do not care about anything. They just want to do there job so
Justin that works here is incompetent, can not hit any of my veins without bruising me although almost no one else does hardly ever. Three times in a row!!!! My veins are easy easy easy. Justin is INCOMPETENT, or he's being a a$$hole and intentionally doing this?? Either way, Justin needs to find a new job, one he's good at, because this one isn't it!!!!!!
Very quick, always in and out compared to other facilities, clean, staff very friendly definitely donate 2 times a week
Honestly, this is a good donation center. They are clean, and the staff is friendly. However, there is one Medical Screener with the name of Rebeca. She is down right rude to donors. Her face screams that she doesn't want to be there, and basically refuses to look at you when she speaks. Zero eye contact, Zero Smile. Part of your job is customer service, hers badly needs work. If it weren't for Joshua, a Phlebotomist on the floor, saying it's been a while and making genuine conversation with me, I wouldn't
Clarissa one of the floor workers who hooks you up to the machine is always polite, she's so gentle sticking you with the needle that you don't even feel it, even through thick scar tissue, imthe place is always clean the staff is always eager to help if there's a problem, the workers talk to you and will laugh with you treat you kindly and fair, I see people bashing csl but they are the same ones who keep coming csl is the best place to come and donate they pay you better compared to other donation places
Worst plasma donation center. Donated twice, ended up with bruises each time. Second time was over 2 inches, so i couldn't donate. Doctor had to approve to come back to donate, it's been 2 weeks since bruises are gone and still the doctor hasn't looked at my chart. They tell you it's ok to come back, after an hour drive you are gonna be told, no you can't. One person tells you just to call back and see if doctor had taken a look at it and when you do, the person answering the call says, we can't give
It was a little difficult locating this place because Google Maps led me to the Vigo County Jail. The real location is near I-70, near 7th & Margaret. The facility is new and has only been open for a few months. It has an open floor plan and is clean with newer equipment. The wait is very minimal and I was able to get through to the donation floor quickly. Inside, there were issues with the 'stick' that led to issues with the draw/return alarming on low pressure. I suspect that they caught my vein at the
Nancy is does great work for everytime I come in to be screened and the phlebotomis team are always great at getting people in and out quickly.
Taylor is an amazing screener and definitely takes the time to make you feel comfortable
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming especially Justin and he's the best sticker they have ??
Horrible experience! I've actually contacted corporate and am filling a complaint of rudeness and misconduct towards me. On top of that the power went out today and they've bruised my girlfriends arms so much that they won't let her donate thinking she is an IV drug user. The employees are high and eat food on the floor. Go to octapharma plasma on 3rd st.
Very slow need more in back when you have a big line only one hook you up and she goes back and forth other 3 unhook you
Everyone is super nice and friendly
Pretty sad that they are only giving new Donner's 50 dollar for frist time should be at least 75 to a 100 it's like every year they pay less it's getting to the point no one wants to give plasma heck it at least cost 20 for gas so if you only get 50 then after you get gas in something to eat then you only have around 30 to 25 dollars left I just think it's pretty sad give how much money they sell your plasma for it's like a highway robbery
Workers are nice and welcoming. Fastest place to get your plasma drawn and the cleanest.
This is the best donating place ever friendly people clean nice and fast I would not go anywhere else
I would like to give special recognition to justin. He is always very friendly and always seems to be right on task.
Out of every Plasma Center in the city, this one is by far the best I've went to. Friendly staff and highly knowledgeable.
So I got told on the phone because I just moved back to the city I was born in that I could come in and that they could send me piece a mail out and that I could still donate today and the next time I come I could just bring the mail in and I really needed the money for food and I don't drive so I walked here in 28 degree weather just to get told that they couldn't do that since I was already in the system that's not what I got told on the phone my whole body is numb just because I got misleading informatio
Management is a joke! Refuses to take responsibility for absolutely anything on their end and makes the donor feel at fault they care about nothing other than paying their painfully SLOW staff I've been a donor here over a year and I guarantee I'll never return !
All the staff are amazing , Justin and David are 2 of the best when ot comes to getting stuck
Was not allowed to donate due to my id card having ny middle name and my social security card having just my first and last. Never ever had this happen at a job or any other plasma place. They need to get it together!
CSL is the only place in terre haute I will go to. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is very clean.
I have donated a lot and I have never been to a place so clean, so efficient and such kind people. Super grateful for my experience here. I will be back!
Every one is very nice. And everyone that works there is cool
They are not very efficient at what they do . Bruised me up several times without getting a drop of blood out of me. Was told after waiting 2 weeks for the second round of bruised they put on me to heal that my viens were not acceptable for donor status that I should wait AT LEAST 6 months to donate again . Went to octapharma Inc same exact day donated a FULL donation with no problems whatsoever . Hire more trained phlabatomist and I might reconsider donating there again as u say csl plasma that u care abou
Good place to make that extra money for the casino. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
They basically rip you off. Pay very close attention to the payment details cuz they change in a whim and they won't update you or tell you about their secret rules. Basically you will donate for practically free and they sell that plasma for upwards of 3k dollars
Always under staffed. Hour wait times to get in the donor room. Pay rates are extremely low
Staff is real nice and friendly good to stop in and donate for a good cause
Here right now and been no flowing alot. They just walk by without fixing. Wouldn't recommend until they hire ppl who want to do their job. Use to like this place at one time.
i had a very good visit td Summer was my screener td and was wonderful.
This is the best place I've ever donated. The people are top notch!!
I'm always treated very professionally. The location is always clean.
The staff has been super helpful in making sure I had a pleasent donation expirence!
Best place!! They treat u like family and are very kind! Highly recommend!
It was a bad experience, I was first attended by a person to whom I showed my visa and passport as identification and they said it was fine, then I used my ITIN number instead of an SSN, she had doubts about that document and called someone else and then they began to say that it was not valid and that I needed a border crossing because they could not accept my visa and passport and neither my ITIN number, I have donated in two different centers before and none had problems with the documentation because e
Good experience! Kelly is awesome, friendly and good at her job!
Getting tired of going in there and only using 1 bay. Shouldnt take almost 3 hours to give. Said screw it and walked out today. There were 4 staff and only using 12 stations donors have others things to do also
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
