CSL Plasma Toledo, OH

The idiots don't know how to answer the phone. I called and it rang for 7 minutes straight and still nobody answered. I hung up and called back and they had taken the phone off the hook so no calls could come in. "Friendly staff" the automated system says - couldn't be further from the truth. They are rude, judgemental, entitled, and don't know how to do their job. They also openly make fun of clients coming in to donate plasma. They've made fun of my friend who donates there several times and she's had to

The line getting to the new machines are very slow. Apparently the new machines take 3 times longer to prep for each person. During a slow time, now, the line is almost to door.

I hate this place 6 out of 10 employees are rude and I waste my time coming over here cause it's always some reason I can't donate and I think it's because I come a little later and they just don't want to stay. Not to mention it's disgusting in there

I started donating two years and went once a week for a year. The lines used to be super long and you'd be there for hours (like three). I took a break the last 8 months and recently went back and the lines are minimal. The staff is nice especially Naomi she's real gentle and friendly. I usually go to Lincoln park and i ended up here on accident and I have to say this staff is the rudest and slowest. The front desk woman treated me like garbage because I asked her a simple question. I had to walk out.

New donor and I've been waiting two hours. The idiots at the front desk are extremely rude and unhelpful. Told me to sit and wait on the nurse and people who came in after me have been going. When I went up and asked what fb holdup was, they got a "deer in the headlights" look and I find out they didn't even put on the nurses list yet!!!!!! Its just always to busy .... Like its a blessing to be in and out in under 2 hrs....update: 4 weeks later and i stopped in 3 times and the lines have been absurd all day.... Hour before closing time and there is literally 40 people waiting for vitals and a table in back... Lets say 10 min per person entire start to finish process is 1min per person(def not) thats about a hour to get every one done unfortunately its a minimum hour process upto but not limited to 3-6hrs start to finish.and the pay definitely

I can say that CSL is the place to donate. I want to start off by saying BRIA made me feel comfortable and the ?stick? was professionally done. It usually hurt and have to be readjusted but BRIA made it less painful and was quick. I honestly don't take names but today was an astounding service. I'll be back!!

The staff here is amazing. Cassandra is so gentle and sweet I don't even know I'm behind poked half the time. I don't even feel it. She makes me feel welcomed. Always had a smile on her face.

I have been coming here for over a year now. The majority of the workers are friendly and all seem good at what they do. I work full time so I mainly go Friday afternoons and Sundays and it takes me on average around One and a half hours to get in and out. I would recommend for anyone looking for some extra money.

This place is currently in a crisis. These new machines don't work half the time, and the other half the employees haven't been given enough training on them. Also some of these phlebotomists need to watch their mouths, period.

I always call to see if they busy, whoever picked up the phone trying to act like it's a problem if I ask how busy they were. Most of the time I call. It takes a while to get someone but they always inform me if they line is long, I know it can change. Whoever I spoke with was rude didn't want to tell me then hung up and lied on me. I have been donating for the past 2 years at this location on Lewis and I ALWAYS request for Bria! She always makes the process easy and painless. Wraps my arm correctly after I'm done. You can always request a phlebotomist and I highly recommend Bria if you're thinking about donating plasma.

CSL Plasma Donation Center on Lewis, I wouldn't say is all that great. This center is decent and I can say that it is clean. On the downside though this place never answer their phone. And they are very short staffed seems like a lot of staff come and go. And some of the staff you can tell that they really don't like their job. Waited in line for 7 minutes to get vitals done, I was the only one in line. Had 4 staff members to do vitals but found it more important to stand in their little circle and gossip. So naturally my pulse was a little high and I couldn't donate. It's not like the place couldn't use some cleaning.

Long waits 40 mins to donate. On top of that long waits. Makes it around 3 hours for each donation. 3 x 2 is 6 hours total what they request 2x s a week. Gets you paid depending on your weight. So not worth it.

Do not recommend. Severely understaffed. Some employees are extremely unprofessional (blaring music from their phone while taking your vitals and you can't understand what they are saying because of the volume, not adjusting needles when they are uncomfortable or having flow issues, having personal conversations and not working while lines are extremely backed up). They have a very efficient system here. I can typically get in and out within an hour. The only time I don't is if they are super packed. Money is always loaded as soon as they unhook you. Most of the employees are really nice. A lot better system than telecris and biomat!

I got deferred after they said I could donate but was able to go to telecrest. Csl is the worst plasma center I have ever been to very unorganized. I'm very dissatisfied with this place. I will be calling BBB.

I have a complicated vein and it's hard to get the right people! I only have 2 currently to do my sticking but worry cause I end up with bruises and sore veins at puncture spots, or to many no draws back to back! The staff are very nice tho; And compared to other centers they are pretty speedy!

This place is pretty hit and miss. Some days you're in and out in about an hour and a half, some days you're out in 3 hours. That could be easy handled if the staff were actually there to work instead of talk or finger bang their phones. Most of the staff handling the vitals are on their phones or busy talking. Went there for first time today. I admit I was a bit nervous. Who wouldn't be their first time. It took about 3 hours to do all the new donor stuff and donate. I myself was on the machine for an hour. I read some chapters of a book while I passed the time. I liked the music playing. Staff was feiendly and asked me several times how I was doing while I was hooked up and when they took me off the machine. They did a good job of explaining everything on top of the information booklet and video you watch. I ask

This was my first time donating plasma and I had a great experience. I was a little nervous about the process but they did a great job walking me through it all. The staff was very professional and personable. I got paid immediately which was great and they imformed me of my best options for purchases or cash back. I will be happy to come back and refer this place to friends and family to help save lives.

Do not. Under any circumstances let Sharita do your arm. It's been 14 days since my right arm was able to donate since she blew up my vein. My other arm is still waiting after 12 days after being bruised up badly by another tech. This income was all I had and their incompetence has cost me dearly. Do not be afraid to tell them to get someone else to do your arm. It may prevent this from happening to you.

I donate plasma a few times a week.I have always been treated very professionally. But it would be nice to be informed about how much I am going to be receiving in payments for the donation. And I feel like I'm being ripped off because I was told one donation of the week it would be $20 and the 2nd time it will be $40. And too many times I seem to only be receiving $20!!? Horrible place. First I couldn't donate because I didn't have proof of a permanent address. Today I brought in 3 peices of proof of a permanent address but I can't donate cause they said I live too far. Pure bureaucracy. I called corporate and they said even if I'm on vacation somewhere else I can still donate to any CSL location. Make no mistake; the plasma shortage we face is not because people don't want to donate, it's because places like CSL Plasma won't let them donate over absolute nonsense. Children

Had horrible experience with worker who had attitude with me so purposely stuck me rough it was bleeding at the needle point down my arm. Then was told I would get $60 and only got $50 when I talked to manager he act like he had no idea what I was talking about but 3 other people I know had received $60 ??

This may be for some people just not for me. Thank you for the research information but it's like a room of lab rats. I understand it's for a good cause but the payout doesn't seem worth it after talking to several people leaving. They exceed my past great experiences with another CSLPlasma. They have just the best staff. There's hardly any waiting to get to a bed, because they don't use folders! I went to Biomat until they opened. I'll never go back. Maybe the person who said they were "rude and unprofessional" thought she was at CSLPlasma, but she was really at Biomat.

It's cool. Staff are late and don't be here to open the doors on time and people are left standing outside in the cold. When there are people here to open the doors they don't let us wait inside and make us wait for the people who are supposed to be here to open the doors.

I cant believe anyone would call this staff rude or unprofessional. The entire staff from the front to the donor floor to management are awesome. The place is clean and process is the quickest of the 3 plasma centers.

Lady had 6 inch fingernails she couldn't even put gloves on after the 2nd try sticking me she got it but now my arm is bruised and I will be going to telicris for my next donation
