Customer services is good and the techs are good . Only this I dis like very much is that NO ONE likes to change their gloves . There is absolutely no reason why you touch a million and one things including different patients at different times and in between those task NO ONE CHANGES THEIR GLOVES . It's disgusting and it's a spread of germs and bacteria
I've had countless interactions with the admins here, none have been good. I've emailed, called and walked in the front doors. They absolutely do not care about the rest of the people that live in this neighborhood. Their patients constantly take up permitted parking that residents have to pay for. Hell, I've even had some of them park in my yard. Having them move their cars is impossible because they never know who is doing it. They have cameras. Not to mention all the trash and people walking thru my fron
This csl has really stepped up not long wait times at all very clean and the staff is amazing shout out to Toby and Ania and the rest of the staff for making every visit more enjoyable keep up the great work and thank you so much!
they kick ppl out in heat and sont let them sit in waiting room for thier loved ones while they donate and they kick service animal out even if proof is given their a service animal staff is rude judgemental
CSL Plasma is highly recommended. I've been donating with 4+ yrs and I don't have anything bad to say about this company. Others may but I appreciate the workers and there time. One in particular, Lisa. She is an amazing worker her dedication and positive attitude is wonderful for the team!
Medical staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful of patients time. I went in today and saw medical due to a bruise from 4 months ago. The "DR" on staff barely looked at me and told me I was clear to go back in line. After an hour waiting I was told I had to go back to medical for a bandage on my finger. The "DR" took barely anytime and said I was okay to donate but would need to get back in line AGAIN. Clearly she did not pay attention and do her job correctly the first time. I wonder how m
Their professional and the cleaning crew keep the place well let and should be recognized for the work they do besides the professionalism of the staff. A ++
I understand that you are trying new things and changing the pay scale but I shouldn't suffer for that. When I walked in today Norma told me I didn't have to scan in and had me come over to check my height. Well I walked in with NO LINE and add they were adjusting the height thing other people came in. So I ended up at the End of the line behind now 7 people after scanning in. So yes NORMA I did need to scan in. Now here I am unhappy and having to wait. FIX IT, make it work for both the donor and CSL don'
CSL plasma is awesome! Everyone is always welcoming, refreshing, and accommodating! I know that my donation changes lives and the staff and security is dedicated to making a change! Edit: bad experience today with male doctor on staff. Why ask me a question to imply I'm lying? ?Will not be back switching to another center all together. Invalidating clients is never ok. I can only tell you what ive been told. Extremely triggering as I am a combat veteran do better.
Many of the staff are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable in this environment. Toby, who works up front in the initial processing area is very polite and professional. In the back on the floor, Richard and Anna Marie are the absolute best. Positive attitude. Always smiling and make you feel safe. And Bet the security officer always makes you feel safe.
This clinic is always fast and clean. The staff is always nice and makes me feel safe when I'm here. The security guard that always here she does an amazing job making sure everything is good and that everyone is safe inside the building and outside as well. These are the main reasons I keep coming back to only this clinic.
Update: not sure what's changed here but the wait times have increased DRASTICALLY since my first review. Still great but be ready to be there at least 2 hours. I've donated at the Ina location a few times, and this center has a much better flow to it. It was busier than Ina ever is and I was in and out in an hour!! It was busy, and still very efficient. The staff was very friendly too. Parking can be a little tricky, so be ready for that! Thank you guys. I've found my new favorite center to donate at!
These was suppose to make things fast supposedly n now it's worse then ever. Line is so long to go to the back they took a break from taking vitals, are you kidding me !? These guys get paid just to stand around n talk like it's hight school or something...very unprofessional! These place was the fastest in town now its just going down hill !
Great staff other than medical guy extremely rude and unprofessional denied me because I was treated for a STI in 2024 and also banned my girlfriend when she was tested clean and had been going in for a couple months
Had a great experience and it was my first time donating! Even though it was busy, staff was polite & helpful. They helped me get everything done in good time and I got paid well.
I remember this one time, a vampire came to try and steal our hard working plasma but the staff were brave and told the vampire no! he will need to get a job and then they scared the vampire away.
This place just sucks. Theres a few nice people who work as phlebotomists or check people in and the Security Guard is a nice person (wish I knew her name) but thats it. Most of the senior staff treat you like you're stupid for asking questions about THEIR jobs or get defensive. The process getting hooked up to a machine is always a 50/50 chance of being great or incredibly painful because they throw new phlebotomists on the floor with minimal training. After you're hooked up and donating you're essentially
Extremely unprofessional staff. They make it hard to make a donation and act like mini God's because they think people are dependent on donations for cash. It might be people want to save lives. I will never return to such a belittling staff. The managers voice mail is full and they don't answer when asked to speak to them. Extremely ghetto
I've been a loyal client for almost a year, coming consistently cause the vibe here is unmatched. The staff is always genuinely friendly and super efficient. The first face you see is almost always security, and she's probably my favorite part. Keep up the good work guys you're killing it!!
I would have given 5 stars because I do like the ability to earn extra cash butttt I was reminded why it's a waste of time most of the time. I had to leave work early today to make it in before csl closed. Before I continue I know they have protocols and rules. With that being said, again, I just got out of work. And I work in a hot warehouse so I barely have enough time to cool down. My temp was at 99.8 and they're cut off is 99.5. There's no option to wait and cool down to try again. Idk how many times I?v
Garbage. Completely understaffed and you have LONG lines going outside just to check in. Absolutely ridiculous to make people wait 1 hour+ just to donate. There's no excuse for their poor staffing, they have barely 2 people on the floor for check ups. To clarify, this is ENTIRELY a management issue. There are a few amateurs working the donation room sometimes that have botched my arm, but at least they get you in and get you out. The management refusing to staff this place properly is what makes it aw
I went in to donate plasma today because i needed gas money to work and had to sign up as a new donor because it had been awhile. The process was very slow and the video I had to watch wouldn't load. After 3.5 hours my donation was finally complete but when I went to get gas there was nothing loaded on the card. I called to see what happened and was told that none of the new donors got paid and that the money should be there in an hour. I specifically asked if it would be more than an hour becaise I had to
Boss doesn't care about employees being sick will not send sick people home has them work making everybody else and customer sick only cares about themselves very selfish and unprofessional would never recommend going here or any CSL plasma
At this csl they don't care about you just as long as they get your plasma and most of the time everything's broken and you can get deferred for looking at the people in a way they don't like
I come here almost every week and the staff here are very helpful and provide so much help! The process is pretty decent as far as how much time you're going to be here. If it's your first time just know that you'll have to be here for a little longer but it's worth it because the pay out is great!!!!
I have been a donor for many years I went a few days ago, the wait times are horribly long definitely not as short as they used to be im not sure why. Anyways I got stuck by a senior phlebotimist that in my personal opinion does not have the skill of a more experienced phlebotomist. I have got stuck by her maybe 5 times with no issues the rest of the times I have ended up with much pain and a bruise on my arm. I was having trouble donating a few days ago and they had an inexperienced person poke around my a
Its a alright place depending on the day could be in line for good amount of time but one thing when donating be careful because they can mess you up so I suggest picking someone with experience. They mess me up badly.
Place is just a joke, cannot even wait in line with my Mom while she is checking in before getting haggled by security guard lmao do not go here
Love donating here! The staff is very friendly! Security team is awesome! They always stay on top of although it may get busy but we all know busy means good! Especially this location!!
I love te staff from here, they do an amazing job and make you feel very comfortable. The manager Lupita Ochoa was very helpful she went above and beyond. Great customer service!
Was told that if I refer somebody, that after their 2nd donation we would both get 150. Never got the money, so came in person and now it's after their 5th donation even though 2 separate people had confirmed it was 2. They also stuck the needle way too deep into the person I referred, causing him to bleed through his tourniquet. Not at all worth it, go to another location.
The lines here are getting bad. 45 min in line just to get onto the machine than another 35min on the machine. Need to do something bout wait times. Faster machines but slower processing to get onto machines just made the whole thing slower when new machines were supposed to shorten wait times. Staff is A+ medical and management needs work. But something needs be done about waiting off machines after intake, lines are spilling over into the intake room and even out the door.!
I've been coming for 2 years now and it's always a relaxing friendly place to donate.Alle is an amazing intake receptionist. She always makes me laugh and is very customer oriented. Highly recommend
Really proud of the CSL team and security at the downtown and butterflied locations working so hard to get everyone in safely and making an impact on people?s life?s everyday by the simple act of donating plasma! We appreciate you!
Staff are extremely rude and passive aggressive. Was stopped immediately as I walked in and the security laughed and interrogated me, insisting I was a minor. Then after being taken to the back to look at my veins, a male staff member walks by saying; ?New donor, huh?? The two staff members attending to me answered yes, before all three of them laughed at my face. I then proceeded to wait an hour to be seen, despite having an appointment. I just walked out. Everyone was super weird and I did not trust them
This is a great place to donate. I've been coming here for years. It's like a small community feel. Security is friendly and professional. Screening staff is great, shout out to Toby. Collection staff is efficient and professional.
I really liked this place. I never had a bad experience until I met that one worker who's not educated enough to work there and the day I was deferred. It was for one honest mistake, that I was told by an employee was okay.. With that said, I will tell you about the worst employee experience. She's the one with the green group lead button. She was in charge of disconnecting me from the machine and when it came to pulling the needle out, she forgot to disengage the needle back into the compartment and pulled
I love how friendly the workers are. They r helpful if u ask for help. This place is all around clean. I feel safe when I'm here. I'm a consistently every week.
Absolutely love coming here! This place rocks!!! All the employees are super friendly and professional. Love the new updated machines and of course the security is just freaking awesome! Highly recommend donating at this location!
I implore anyone trying to donate to just go the Butterfield one this place is garbage with one or two good employees the good one being this lady that has stars tattoos on her neck and another older Mexican lady they are both amazing but other than that the rest of the staff are absolute garbage. The lady that has "group lead" badge on left my arm super bruised and the worst part is they pretend it's not their fault they will even go as far as to blame you HAHA and the people here are super rude. Do not co
Donors leave bloody gauze squares all over the neighborhood (saw 5 just now). CSL staff insist they collect the medical waste before donors leave, but all evidence suggests otherwise. Donors also steal parking spots residents have to pay for, preventing residents from parking at their own homes. The entire block is disgusting, and CSL does nothing to mitigate this dispersal of biological waste, instead conveniently relying on residents to do their dirty work as well as involuntarily subsidize their lack o
Not a bad place.. staff is nice an really kool... the male security guard likes to block a specific parking spot for a female worker here.. even though the staff have a place for them to park, she has to be right near the front door.. staff has parking, park there.. it's where you should be, stop having security block a spot for you cuz it's rude an not right.. I plan to say something.. I also know the security company too.. not a good look buddy..
I was in today for my routine donation and had the pleasure of having Lisa be my tech for the day to take my vitals and she was very pleasant to deal with! Not only does she know her job and doesn't it well she is kind.
Junie is the BEST phlebotomist out there!!! Everytime I donate I always ask for her because not only does she sticks the BEST but she also have the BEST customer service! This girl deserves a raise for sure!
Galilea helped me out with all my questions that I asked, very nice and very professional with customer service!
Junie is very pleasing to work with. She's great to interact with and makes my donation feel seamless. I can tell she's a GREAT asset to the company.
Friendly staff, Leslie at the 4th ave center has been regularly exceptional. The security person has always been friendly and helpful.
Everytime my spouse and I go in there the security guard is always rude to us. She makes it hard for people to go in there and donate. She made my spouse blood pressure go sky high by acting so rudely towards us that he was not able to donate. She picks and chooses who she is nice too.
In my opinion, Lina is a pretty great staff member. She's nice, outgoing, and her kindness always brings me back to donate more plasma!
Lines seem to be longer than the butterfield location; Expect 45 minutes to 2 hours to complete donation. Check in is confusing at this location as everything is jammed into the front area, making it easy for others to not know where to wait or scan your QR code.
I always feel comfortable when I come in and the staff is super friendly. Alle is a fantastic staff member there. She's always professional and supportive.
Staff was very nice , Especially the assistant Manager her name is Lupita Ochoa she's very courteous and Never have I had an issue here.
The female security guard here at the plasma center is awesome great attitude and always very respectful to everyone who comes into the center we always appreciate her presence
the staff has no urgency to get you out especially if they close early like at 5 they drag there feet so they can tell you no even though i showed up at 3 as my second time just to be ask questions all of 10 minutes and be on my way to donate but instead i sit for over an hour waiting to get called in office to get asked my questionnaire . you would think they don't want angry people but they don't care .
If they had an option for 0 stars I would give it, I have donated to four different plasma facilities, csl is the worst, they are rude, disrespectful and bullies. I started donating a few months ago to make myself extra money on top of my two jobs and because I have what looks like 'track record' they get to discriminate and deny me the right to donating, I have donated at BioLife in Tucson, bpl plasma and telacris in Phoenix and done so successfully without any provocation, only at this csl do i get that.
I have never had a bad experience here the staff is friendly and everyone treats you like you are family.
I was very nervous but Junie made sure i was comfortable, i could barely even feel the needle, i feel better about coming again.
Great staff that make the experience worth while. Other donors can be questionable at times but staff always has a way to put me at ease.
Helpful if you need some cash
They take your DNA, and your time. And give No bonus No reward and barely enough to eat. 40-50 a visit is pathetic. Get real on the cost of living .. .
The location and place was well kept. However the woman at the front desk had a horrible attitude and was so rude to the young woman in front of me that I left.
It's the most Unsafe Donation Environment in Tucson. You can smell the Pills being smoked in the Bathroom as soon as you enter this Facility. The screening staff are very ignorant, immature & odd. For whatever reasons CSL on 4th are some of the Strangest people I have ever encountered on this Continent. And I will testify to it in a court of law
Great place to donate plasma, the people are nice and the process is pretty quick. My phlebotomist that I had, Brissa, was great. I could barely feel the needle when she stuck me.
This location moves pretty fast compared to the other centers. Great customer service as well from my past donations. My preferred center.
Michelle was awesome today, she's VERY well at her job ! Today was my second time donating ever. While donating my vision & hearing got blurry, I felt nauseous, got sweaty and was told I turned super white like a sheet of paper. I felt like I was going to pass out. This happened to me twice but Michelle was there with me holding my hand, fanning me with a laminated card & communicating with me the entire time. Had some others workers help by bringing ice packs during & gatorade after. She was comforting &
Be ready to spend 3+ hours there your first time. Getting put into their system takes a while. But after that it's not a problem. Your wait depends entirely on what times you arrive. Feel free to ask the staff what their busy hours of the day, and days of the week are. They'll tell you when to come in order to avoid long lines, if your schedule is flexible. I would call before you make your first visit. Ask them what you need to bring and make sure you're all set. One thing you need is your Social Security
I've had good experiences at this location. It can get pretty backed up at times but, they just got new machines that are a little quicker.
An absolute pleasure to go and donate. They have an Anti-D Program for donors of a certain blood type that I'm fortunate to qualify for. But the staff are always super friendly and are happy to answer any concerns or questions you may have. Forget going to BioLife, they treat you like you're an annoyance and they left the needle in my arm once so long cuz I didn't have a good flow and my red blood cells coagulated and was deferred for 3 months. CSL Plasma are a God sent ????????
I absolutely love this plasma center, they are quick, efficient, caring, knowable, and fair. They have long term employees that have been there working their hardest even during the whole pandemic. I will always recommend this center to anyone. Thank you plasma center and workers for all your hard work saving lives, thank you for helping me be able to come up with extra money for my family every week. You are appreciated!
Super quick, professional, clean and great customer experience
I normally don't have any problems here. When it comes to the medical staff although I'm sure they are more than capable it seem to me they can pick up the pace. To make people who has been donating for a year or more wait over an hour for a annual checkup is not right or very professional. I have been doing my job nearly 20 Year's and am a professional at it. Because I plan for such things people do not end up waiting for me to complete my tasks. So the point here is why didn't you have adequate medical st
Don't come here if you're transgender. Even if you've updated your legal information, they will intentionally misgender you. Don't come here if you're homeless. Even if you're in a shelter, they don't accept donations from homeless people at apartment style shelters because they don't allow people with shared bathrooms to donate. I'm calling it discrimination, ?cause they definitely let people with roommates donate even though they have a shared bathroom. I waited 2 hours for them to waste my time because t
Although this is the only center I've been to the staff and environment is very friendly, clean and organized, norma is exceptionally friendly and helpful, if you ever have any questions be sure to ask her for a fast and reliable answer
Teresa is very unprofessional n rude to donors
Love coming in and seeing Galilea or Linda. They always have a positive attitude and you can tell they love everyone that comes in. They are both really good employees ??
This facility is so much more smooth like and the atmosphere is relaxed... the Supervisor Ms. Margarita on 11/06/2020 was so understanding and professional it blew my mind. These staff members are so different then the butterfield site. Ms Margarita keep up the wonderful work. Ty.
The service they offer is nice. Money for donating plasma. Many of the people who work here are nice. Some of them are not. My second or third time, an employee was reading me a consent form. He read it so quickly, I could understand him. When I asked if he could slow down, he said ?great, now I need to do the whole speech again.? Tough lucky, he's asking my consent for a medicinal procedure, he should make sure people can understand him. Overall, it's easy money for only a couple of hours of standing aro
Do not go to this business. Unsanitary, unsafe. The people working there do not know what they are doing, they took too much blood from me creating a health issue. The place should be shut down. Also they are testing on and selling your DNA.
Great experience like always. Lisa did an amazing job! All stuff are really nice.
Great staff easy extra money while helping a life or lives although I think pay should be a liiiiitttle more .. it's not a job of course but your getting stuck and waiting often. In line or to get stuck or unstuck. But over all good place decent extra money.. not always worth it if your not above 149 pounds.. especially if you depend on the donation for bus fare as well.
When I used to donate I only let a few people poke my arm one of the best in my opinion was Melissa with the black heart tattoo behind her right ear
I was attended by lisa! She was great, positive attitude and very kind. Makes donating easier and better.
Everyone at CSL is Friendly, Personable, thorough and Impeccable. And, Lisa the Intake Person is Awesome & Amazing! Thank You All
They aren't bad they pay out way better than most places do they can go a little slow at times but I have never had a problem when it comes to being stuck with the needle and my return. The staff is very friendly and very helpful at all times
Love this place everyone is so nice and Lisa one of the workers there who treated me today was so sweet and very welcoming did a great job with me.
I would like to give more stars because most of the staff are fantastic, super nice. I have had nothing but issues with a couple of staff members and don't appreciate being treated the way they have treated me when I have had to interact with them. I am going to find another place to donate which sucks since this location is most convenient for me.
This place brings the sketchiest of people to the neighborhood. They all camp out and wait to give blood. And then they linger after the place closes. It's homeless and drug addicts everywhere. I hate that they added this to the neighborhood.
Super helpful staff. The CDL app is great to do your questionnaire before arriving. The atmosphere was chill and workers all very nice and informative. Thank you CSL
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
