CSL Plasma Victoria, TX

CSL Plasma Victoria, TX

Reviews Summary

CSL Plasma in Victoria, Texas receives mixed reviews. Many praise the friendly, efficient staff and pleasant atmosphere, calling it a great place to donate. However, some criticize long wait times, rude employees, and inconsistent service. Issues with needle compatibility for smaller veins and sudden eligibility rejections frustrate donors. While some highlight quick, professional experiences, others report disorganization and unprofessional behavior. The center’s mission and benefits are appreciated, but operational flaws and declining service quality deter some. Overall, positive experiences outweigh negative ones, but improvements in efficiency and staff attitude could enhance consistency.

I hadn't been been to CSL plasma in such a long time because I got a tattoo and I waited the correct amount of time to come back so I start the whole process and everythingI've been waiting here for four hours they sent me to get my physical, they told me I can't donate because of old tattoos, I got probably like three years ago or more I told this lady I didn't remember when I got it especially the exact date keep in mind these are old tattoos so she told me I can't donate after being there for four hours

They need more people at check in and medical. It's so slow and even worse when they let multiple new donors ahead of you every step of the way. I've been sitting around for an hour with 8 other people waiting at medical because I have a tiny scratch on my arm.

I have been here up to 7 times over the last 3 months. I have hyperhidrosis. It is on my medical record. Every time I go here they pull me off to the side to let me know I smell and get complaints from staff. After I was already cleared and set up in the chair with a blood pressure cuff, they made me get up and go to medical, then leave after wasting over 3 hours just waiting on line. Thanks for letting me know I stink in front of 15 others, I appreciate that! They also accused my boyfriend of drugs (oh sho

The lady at the center named Teresa was discourteous and denied the donation, because I was non-fluent speaking English even tho I can read and understand the terms of the procedure. The rest of the staff was ready to continue with the procedure after speaking with me and I responed all the questions they had for me. She denied and laugh about it.

So for several months I was donating plasma with no issue whatsoever. Then all of a sudden I open my big mouth and say that I had a surgery as a baby (WAY BACK IN THE 90S BRO) and all of a sudden now I can't donate. Just because I don't know what kind of surgery it was does it mean that it affects my health in a way that it would mess up my plasma. They test your blood for viruses and issues with proteins before you even donate anyway so not knowing what kind of surgery it was doesn't change the fact that I

Always have a good experience and all the workers know me by name and they're nice and if I had any problems they will deal with it immediately. Positive vibes and good energy

Hi I'm Philip I been a Donater for 3 years now,,I like to donate my plasma to help other people that are in need of plasma or medication to live in my experience I enjoy helping people..we all need to help those in need to save..come and join us at CSL Plasma Center give save a life..... Philip Reyna God Bless..

Worst place ever I went in as a new donor they had me watch a video and told me to wait they would be with me in just a few minutes. An hour later I was sitting there and they had not even spoken to me again to let me know what was going on or anything what a joke.

Victoria location is clean and has friendly helpful staff but the pyvper donation is very low, there's more money in other places for sure

The mission is great. The staff is great. Donating helps people and yourself. I donate as often as I can. That being said, don't come here. The entire process used to take less than an hour. Now, it's a 3 hour plus process. It's a combination of only having 1 person checking you in, to having these new wonky machines that are always broken. Hopefully, it will get better soon, but with the holidays coming, I dont really foresee it getting any faster.

I just called and talked with a representative before being put on on for about 10 minutes then they hung up on me. Very rude

The ladies on the floor all have an attitude. As far as even ignoring you upon calling out to them. They'll continue to talk about their day and gossip abruptly but tend to you with a "meh" behavior. Go work somewhere else if you're unhappy at your current employment. Place is miserable, I've had to make a visit for some extra cash because times are tough and get treated like this. No I don't give attitude to provoke this kind of behavior. I get along with the employees up front on screening/medical. But on

I have chronic acne on my arms and I was accused of being a drug addict by the nurses there, my girlfriend overheard them taking about me after I left do not go here

It used to be so quick and easy. But since these new machines. 7 workers. 5 donors. Lots of standing around. Been waiting in line to be seated for an hour now

Csl plasma has a very friendly and informative staff! I love helping others and it makes a big difference when other do too AS WELL! God Bless All those at Victoria Texas CSL donation Center!

So anytime you get sent to medical you automatically lose the spot you had in line right.. why is it this lady who checked in AFTER getting in line and did her questionnaire the NIGHT BEFORE ran into a check in or questionnaire issue , sent to medical & then she was moved in front of everyone else in line afterwards?? she was being sent to medical regardless and only had 3 people in front of her but because she ?was here before anyone else? she got moved in front. I got sent to medical before and had 7 peop

The medical nurse there is horrible had scabs on my face and was told I couldn't donate after waiting because they were "open wounds" and wasn't a good enough scab but had the audacity to say try again tomorrow when I tried talking to the manager he was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional and not helpful at all. Tried to see if I can talk to the other nurse and was denied because he said he wouldn't let her over ride either way.

Almost everything for every visit went pretty smoothly except the last time. I recently went in for my 5th time donating where I was supposed to get $100 but instead got $50. I'm not mad, just disappointed. Feels like I was lied to

Was finally able to donate since I went earlier in the day than usual. So thankful everything went smoothly and I was able to donate for the first time. The entire process went very quickly. The workers that helped me did a very good job at the explaining everything to me. Will definitely return.

Been there 2 or 3 times. Staff are nice but every time I went in it took 2-3 hours to go to back, an every single time they could not take any plasma cuz their needles DO NOT work with smaller veins, no matter how much water I drink it doesn't matter.

Never have I experience so much unprofessional experience in my life you can call yo get information about anything and these people will ignore the phone over ??. Nurses yall are no better once you get a standard that doesn't make you better than. The information I need is from yall anyways

The staff have become very rude and neglectful and the medical nurse dont know what there doing and if you ask any questions they mark it down as being diffucult even if just a normal question such as can i see a nurse why everything fine just wait till your done the staff goea out of there way to avoid helping donators and make serval note on people when yoy ask for help in any way.so dont ask for help dont ask questions if they hurt your arm its your fault and just need to allow the process to finish even

Been going here for almost a year now and never been disrespected or talked rude to at all it's always the people coming in to donate that are giving the staff a hard time even on the donation floor there always asking me if I'm okay and if everything is ok so all these people saying there is a lot of rude workers here I don't see how everyone is polite and tends to my needs I CAN SAY THAT GRIFFOLS DONATION PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I STOPPED going to GRIFFOLS and come here for now on ?? KEEP UP THE GOOD

Most of the staff here are pleasant. There have been a few workers who have answered the phone unprofessionally but there are always a ?few? like that anywhere you go. I will say when it comes to accessing your veins, Eric is THE BEST hands down!!! He is the ONLY one on the team who has ever been able to get my veins and who also doesn't bruise my arms up for weeks. The place is pretty clean. It's usually a super cold environment ,due to the way they have to handle and store the plasma, so be sure to bring

It took awhile know cap but nurse Teresa was awesome she went over and beyond, with her handling my visit it was well wroth the wait. P.s that $100 dollars is going to help me out.

The management here will make up lies to defer you from being able to donate, tell you one thing and then do another. This management team is poorly trained in business knowledge, and how to properly handle situations they should be working on the fast food industry, also not to mention place is dirty and would fail a health inspection

They have been very quick to get a person in and out of the center. The staff is so friendly and they make a person comfortable and seem very knowledgeable with their different positions in the center which calls my mind when it comes to donating. I recommend others to this center in particular in the area, especially when I had a very bad experience with Grifols. Thank you CSL! And keep up the great work!!!

Place is clean employees are great helpful screening process is fair pay is great I never had a problem there if your thinking about donating stop by csl plasma and tell them Robert gauna refered you !

This place is amazing, very caring/friendly people. Most definitely recommended.

Just went after work for our first donation and the woman who greeted us couldn't have been more rude. Apparently selecting a time online to donate does nothing for a new donor. We honestly don't understand much of what she was explaining except we definitely understood she didn't want us to stay.

This is my 3rd week here in Victoria, Texas and the staff is great. They welcome for coming, ask you if want something to drank and a pack of cracker. When you are done they thank you for coming. PS DON'T FORGET TO RING THE BELL BEFORE LEAVING.

First time coming here, the staff always comes off bored, unenthusiastic, and a little rude. Don't expect to come here and enjoy yourself at all. Only giving 2 stars cause at least they paid me.

This place has gone down hill in the past year. Staff has been rude lately, there is less and less promotions, and now their "snacks" is simply club crackers and water. Pathetic

They're very nice, and gentle with you! Will make you laugh while you're donating and spill tea with you lol. Great workers and a great place.

I had a really pleasant experience. I was helped faster then I was expecting and the staff was really helpful, professional, and nice. Made my first time donating fast and relaxing

CSL PLASMA IS THE BEST IN VICTORIA TEXAS

Csl is a great place to go for extra spending ??.The girls there are always super nice .The app gets you straight in .

I had never donated plasma before and the people at CSL are fantastic! They take you step by step on your first visit. Every time I come here they greet me happily and do an excellent job!

The employees who work here are slow moving & take their time getting donors screened & into the donation room. They act like our time is not valuable. And they make you stand for 30-45 minutes or longer depending on how many other people are there. They usually only have 1 health screener & 2 women standing at the front desk doing nothing at all but standing there. There is only 1 screener who actually works swiftly & accurately & maybe only 2 phlebotomist who do a good job, Grace is 1 of them. Grace does

Friendly atmosphere. Nice now that the holiday rush is over. They DO stab you at least twice every time you come here though... 5/5 would get stabbed again.

This place is a joke. They use google maps as the end all, be all for your residence. I took a lease and a utility bill and that wasn't enough. They do the most when It isn't necessary! Grifols accepted my paperwork with no problem. The only reason I left Grifols is because they misplaced my blood work, but I'll be going back because at least they have sense.

The staff is always so nice and smiling . They seem to really enjoy their jobs. I recommend all of my friends to give the gift of life.

Decided to try this place out due to the new donor payouts. Found out they pay about $100 less a month than Grifols. They wouldn't let me donate because of the previous ?bruise? as they call it from my donation. My numbers were all in line. Grifols never has an issue just of a little mark on my arm that they know is from their needle. I have had negative experiences with them since I started going by the various phlebotomist being disrespectful but i have learned my lesson and will return to Grifols where i

Literally called on the phone and takes to them told them I didn't have proof of adress.I tried to offer what I could and they turned me away saying that I gave them 2 different addresses like what? Look at all the other reviews do yourselves a favor go somewhere else these people here love to turn people away smh

Had to wait in line 3 hours just for them to tell me I can't give blood cause of a scratch that was completely healed. And it doesn't help that every time I go in there there's a long line, with one employee doing the screening why the other ones are in a huddle talking and laughing!! Ridiculous

The staff is amazing! They answer all your questions and show true? sincerity! Couldn't ask for a better place to share my time!

Has a really good experience staff is so friendly! Love coming when I get the chance to donate and help others!

This place is great, they're very nice! I go twice a week, if you're thinking of donating then do it, don't wait.

Everyone is friendly, i had 2 smooth plasma Donations.

I just moved to Victoria . I wanted to make up a little from the move so I decided to donate plasma. I have donated before but not with CSL. This is as a much easier and quicker process than what I have experienced before. On top of that. The staff is amazing. Thank you Csl

CSL is a great place to donate plasma. Their staff are super nice and helpful and they always treat me great. I have never had any problems donating here.

Waited two and a half hours to be told that I can't donate cause of a ?bump? under my tongue? My friend couldn't donate cause the side of his mouth/lips were a little bit cut?? Terrible service absolute waste of time would 10/10 recommend that you go anywhere else this place is trash

Great center. Friendly staff always make one feel welcomed. The facility is clean which makes one feel relaxed to donate in such facility.

The staff are extremely professional and kind. They get you in and out quickly and highly enjoy going.

To sit and wait 3 hrs then go threw all the procedures they do get your donor number to be told you have to come back because your last tattoo isn't old enough like no I will never return this is something that should be said in the beginning before even watching the video not a very good first experience and I WILL NEVER be going back !
