I've never had a bad experience here until the other day. Erin should not be allowed to be administering needles at all. She placed the needle a whole inch and a half away from my vein. It instantly felt like she hit a nerve and my whole arm went numb. I told her it still hurts a lot, as it's supposed to calm down after the initial poke, and she proceeded to walk away and say someone else would come look at it. I was crying I was in so much pain. Left a huge bruise after in the area too. Thankfully whoever
I have been going to the center for a couple years now I've always had problems with them missing my veins getting deferred going back and forth seeing the nurse it's always been a hassle. I go in today as I normally would and my app says my deferral needs to be lifted to see the front desk as I go there the manager proceeds to tell me to come to the back room where I thought I was going to be screened but no that's not the case she told me that I'm not allowed to donate at the center anymore because every
Expect to wait an hour minimum. They usually only have one person working the lines. They tested my temperature and said im running a fever. I asked if she would be so kind to recheck because I feel fine. The lady said no come back tomorrow so I showed up at 7am, waited forty minutes to be seen to be told I am deferred for two weeks. I asked to check my temperature and I was fine. I asked if that deferral could be waived considering I'm fine ?now?. And the same lady told me no she was mistaken on how long t
I've been several times. They're pretty slow but staff is nice. I've been stuck Incorrectly a couple times. Place is clean at least. Phlebotomist today gave me a blown vein.
Worst experience ive ever had. The place was empty when i got there. 2 new donors, and i waited over 2 hours before leaving without even doing passed the consent video
You need a little extra this the place to come.people are nice efficient and know what they are doing. Its not just about donating and receiving money you are also helping others as well what can it hurt.Help save a life.
Very unprofessional people with the exception of Mo and a few other select people. Drop the rif-raf and keep the people who remain good employees. Or not .
I came to CSL so I could make a little extra cash while helping people. I'm not, nor EVER have taken drugs. Nor am I on ANY scripts. My first visit was pleasant even though the left arm wasn't 'behaving' so they had to stick my right arm as well. On my second visit (4 days later) I had a large bruise on my left arm and a minute bruise on my right. This led me to have to be cleared by the nurse. She determined that I was ineligible to donate after questioning how I got the large bruise on my left arm. When
I gave a three star because the wait is typically 2-3 hours. Most of the time the staff is walking around slowing, talking with each other while there are open beds. But some of the staff here makes it worth while, people like JENNIFER!! very time I come in I can always count on Jennifer to brighten up the room with her smile, and great work ethic. Definitely one of my favs
When I left I was never paid. It was my first time. I drive right back, they said it was still processing. About an hour later I called, and was put on hold for about 20 minutes. I called about 30min after that, they told me oh management is working on it, it should be about 20 minutes until funds are available. 3 hours go by still no funds, I call and this time they remember my name and issue and am put on hold for about 15 minutes. No when I call there is no answer, so it seems like they also screen their
These run down plasma centers profits millions$ off of desperate poor people. DONT RISK UR HEALTH DONT DONATE HERE. Each bottle of plasma makes CSL thousands$ yet they gv donors a couple 20s. The workers aren't licensed professionals. Ur donation should be based on ur weight, yet CSL pulls the max of 1000ml on EVERYBODY including lightweight donors!! That puts u at RISK of severely DEHYDRATION N PLASMA SHOCK that can be fatal! The machines aren't properly operated, sanitize n quality assurance CLEARED. Whi
Supervisor with long hair is so rude and mean she always gives you dirty looks... wait in line forever and never any apologies
If I could give 0 stars I would get up there wait for a hour in the cold because they weren't open on time get to the booth just to be turned down because I'm .1 over the temperature and won't let me retake never coming back and no wonder everyone is leaving this shity place don't go new donors take 5 hour supposed to be 3 everyone rather talk than do their job manager fights with associates all around bad go else where
True...there is a bit wait. But those machines don't play! I was done in 30 mins with my donation. No complications NO pain No fatigue. My compensation was fair with no mystery $deductions. All I can observe was a short staff. But CSL staff is AMAZING!!
Giving 1 star for my visit today! The older gentleman that likes to talk needs to pay attention a bit more. Every time I have him my intake always takes 15 extra minutes due to him ?messing up? something in the centrifuge resulting in me having to be sticked multiple times. Then when everything is done I now have to wait another 20 minutes to see the nurse, was told I answered a question wrong but I think he just made another mistake. If you can't talk and work?.maybe just work.
Over an hour just to get in line to be stuck. Obviously keeping only one area open and making donors wait when not necessary. I've been to many other CSL?s and this one by far is the worst one I've been to. No one wants to be waiting 5 years just to give blood. And it's not due to the staff other places have been way more understaffed and processed people much quicker.
My experiences at CSL Plasma have been nothing short of infuriating. The staff's attitude is shockingly rude and unprofessional, especially Jamie, making every visit a frustrating ordeal. The check-in process is a nightmare, filled with unnecessary complications that just add to the hassle. At one point, there was no one checking in donors. They don't clean the counters after checking an individual?s vitals. They let donors and employees that are not clocked in behind the counter. An employee brought her da
DONT GO HERE!!! They have unexperienced people working here and they don't care about the people! Been donating for over 5 years and this is the worst place I've ever been too!
Ridiculous faculty I have never seen a staff that complained so much. The supervisor just stands there the sticks are bad on each side of me. I was finished for atleast 15 min and still was ignored pick a different center all around the stage if awful Katie the tech was very rude and mentioned she heard me to a supervisor after I said please. Just rude they all seem like they hate their jobs. Katie most of all I assume.
Always waiting 2-4hrs because they take the time sticking people in back. I came from NW 23rd one day they had closed and liked how fast it was at this location even if it is out of my way but know I'm debating on even going back to 23rd location. The staff in back will just stand around. I ask what is the purpose for faster machines if the staff doesn't move fast.?
Everytime I come to donate it's always a 2-3 hr wait. They never move with any haste and seem to not care that they have a line full of donors waiting. It's frustrating to always come donate and you have to wait 2hrs just to donate. I'm to the point where I'm about to stop coming. I've been donating for 5+ years but been donating here for 4 months and it's always the same outcome. There has never been a time where I never had to wait 2hrs to donate. You can definitely tell they don't care about the donors.
I went in for my first donation and got help from the wonderful Katie! She was extremely attentive and thorough as well as on top of her training duties! Taking every opportunity to teach and guid both patients and new employees through the process she is clearly educated on. I Had a wonderful experience and will be returning due to her guidance!
If I could rate this center a -10 I definitely would! The workers are slow and lazy and care nothing about their donors. I've been to this location a few times and each experience has been the same! I wouldn't suggest anyone come here unless you have a free schedule for at least half a day and you do not mind waiting. Watching workers stand around, chit chatting, laughing with employees and avoiding work! I will never come back!!
Literally cares NONE for donors in line for 2+ hours. Sad facility and staff, I know other CSLs out of state who actually take pride in getting you in and out and opens up more than 5 beds at a time, unlike this CSL. They WILL NOT open more than a few beds only.... so they can be lazy it seems. It's not a safety hazard as they said to me, neither because this is the only CSL that closes 4 hours after closing due to their laziness and 5 beds. My other CSL location has 2 lanes open if busy. Management here ne
The lady that was on bay 1 around 7pm was not cleaning her beds. it bad enough the blood pressure cuffs Can't be cleaned. If you guys wear your badge. I could've dropped a name.not everyone but more then 2 i seen.
I've tried to donate twice now, being told it would take 2-3 hours total process. Each time I've waited 2.5 hours to not even get taken back for the questionnaire yet. A lot of the employees are slow moving and talking to each other about their personal lives rather than doing their job. Do not waste your time with this center, they really desperately need to get it together.
If u plan on coming to this donation center you are going to have wait 3hrs because no one here has any type of sense of urgency. It's packed at 7:30 and they are only running like 5 beds at a time. They should be trying to get people in and out it just really seems like that is at all any of there focus. This is not my first experience I have been donating at this center for 3 months and it's like this 9/10 times.
They don't pay attention. No organization.. I sat down for more than 15 min to be disconnected from machine it took I person 15 to be disconnected while been worked on..they are not doing a good job
I was a first time donor, checked in with my DLs and waited two hours just for them to tell me I could not donate because I did not have my social security card on me. I don't understand why that wasn't checked before my appointment. no where on the app does it say to bring your social security card with you. All it asks for is ID. Brenda the person that was ?helping? me kept looking at me like I was dumb and said ?well just come back tomorrow with your social security number? like I did not just waste 2 ho
All they hire is lazy people. The speaks volumes on management team! There is no reason it should take me 2-3 hrs for a return donation! I've worked in this field and our management never let this type is work ethic slide.
No one here is in a rush or even acting like they car about someone spending 3 hrs or more to help save lives as long as it doesn't effect the workers they don't care. Up front was way more helpful but the actual donation process they techs are not on the same page or even working together to get ppl in and out. No CLS on 23rd or this location.
I can't express enough how awesome the staff is here! Obviously Amy, Jamie, and Michael are fantastic! But I also had the pleasure of meeting Rosie, Whitney, and I believe Tasha was the other ones name! Rosie?s stick was great! Didn't even feel it! And she was very bubbly and fun to be around! And Whitney was doing her job plus some (working both sides just to get patients in and out) with a smile on her face the entire time!! Tasha wasn't my phlebotomist, but she still made sure to check on me and answer a
Kind and friendly people to help you out on donating plasma. I prefer going to the Warr Acres location in Oklahoma City. The staff is friendly and helpful, a delight for me to see them twice a week. Barbie has always been a great help with doing all the jobs up there to get people in and out in a timely fashion. Jennifer also does a great job checking donors in and always has a big smile on her face. Crystal is another bright spot in their employee line up,nurse and phlebotomist, always ready to help. My onl
They need to have more people working on shifts. There's always a long line It took me 4 hours in total to donate today. They have one person doing the sticking and one person taking it out, but yet there's 40 people in there building waiting to donate. They need at least two people sticking and two people taking out. This is ridiculous I don't recommend this place at all unless they hire better management
So disappointing. I was incorrectly diagnosed. And spent three weeks working on correcting it. After all the trouble I went through to volunteer, it was such a terrible issue that I will not pursue the efforts to ever go back. Bryan shelton Okc
Doesn't matter what time you come here, unless you come right when they open and be one of the 1st people they see in the mornings you will be here for hours!!! There is always a line, and they only have 4-5 techs on the floor!! It's very frustrating, I am not sure why they don't schedule more people to be on the floor when they know it's going to be busy so that we don't have to stand around for hours waiting! Ok average I spend 2-3 hours here, and that's before donating!!!! ??????
Use to be great but the last two times I donate i had waited 20 to 30 mins waiting to be unhooked bc staff was just talking laughing and all my arms had gone numb bc of the needle in my harm so long bc I have already been there for 30 mins and had to wait another 20 to 30 min to be unhooked been really thinking if I even wanna come back
This is the most unprofessional CSL plasma place you'll ever go to. You'll sit there for 20 minutes after you've given plasma with the needle in your arm waiting for it to be taken out they'll skip you so they can go deal with a customer they like better or have a relationship with super unprofessional.
Honestly the people are great but they are lazy. Im a donor who comes twice a week regularly for almost six months. Every time I've come there is at least 3hr wait. It took 51 mins for them to just do the intake part on me. Not including the waiting line for the actual process which is another 2 hrs. Also staff will just milk you dry. I understand it's a donation place and everything and ur trying to get my plasma. But if it takes me 1hr and thirty mins or even longer sometimes you should be disconnecting m
I give it a 0 they aren't in any hurry they stand around and talk I got hear around 945 am and I'm still sitting at 1141 waiting for a physical smh I think the other csl is a better choice the new donor doesn't really mean anything everyone goes before you. Now I get looked at got a 1 inch burn from a tator total casserole and I can't donate 3 n half hrs here and now they tell me got crackheads donating ahead of me and I can't donate this is the worst place ever they don't want to work so they look for any
Went in on Dec 21st and it was a great experience.. I was the very last person there donating and the staff kept me company and kept close by to make sure I was ok since it was my first time donating in a while. They were all in good spirits and didn't seem to mind or complain that they had to stay until 8:39pm until I finished my process. The nurse was great the phlebotomist was really good I work in the lab department myself and her stick was on point no pain or anything. It was a great experience
For my first 6 or 7 donations, it went very smoothly and nice. Then last time, I was stuck way farther with the needle than every before. I made no complaint, it just hurt a little bit. I go in two days later to donate again, and I'm sent to the male nurse who's name starts with a J. Black hair, facial hair. I was originally sent to the nurse because I had a very small bruise from past donating. The nurse clears the bruise to be okay, but then asks about the smallest scratch on my arm. The scratch is healed
Worse plasma donation place in OKC Most inefficiently ran place of business I've ever been to Who ever manages this location should be fired and never manages anything else
Place is a joke! I walked in (first time)? there is a large group of people waiting to my left, a very long line of people standing to my right, and various employees just walking around the front desk area. CSL mind you advertises that this only takes 1-2 hours. I stayed in there 20 min and left. I didn't actually see one person make it back to donate. Everyone was at a standstill. The place was dirty. For a place that should be clean, it was beyond gross in there. Find somewhere else.
If I can leave zero stars I will trust, the most slowest place I have ever been to ??
They are the best staff! They work hard to keep people moving. Jennifer was working by herself today but she kept them moving! I go on average twice a week.
Really need to work on customer service. Unprofessional and very slow.
I went here a couple years ago for the first time. It takes around 2-3 hours to sign up so pretty time consuming. When I finally got to the machine the ladies there couldn't find a vein. They even brought over a more senior lady and tried both arms- still nothing. I got paid anyways but decided not to go for a while and even forgot about donating plasma for an option. I went to another csl place the other week and I was deferred. My profile saying I have no veins. It had not been explained to me that I was
This place is disgusting. They openly made fun of a man having a seizure tonight, and they cannot get people in and out. Sitting there for hours just waiting to be poked and set up, then waiting hours more to be let go. EVERYTIME I go there, there is an incident. They are bullies, and highly unprofessional. They make it seem like the low of the low work here. Unlesss you want people who can't do their job or make fun of your medical condition in front of strangers, I would suggest going elsewhere.
A lot of good people have gone away. One in particular amanda, who left because csl wanted her to change her hair color back to "normal". Whats hair got to do with plasma?! I love some of them remained here...especially Katie, Kaleb, amy, mo, jazz, Christian. I really hate the process....since it changed this year it seems like it takes longer waiting for a bed. 50$ for 3 hours is unacceptable. We should be compensated more.
Wait times can be super long especially when waiting to get a bed on donor floor. If you go early in day better chances on not having to wait hours in line.
What is the point of making people stand in line, while there is chairs open and ready to go? The employees can see that they are open and ready. I was standing in the front of the line, I was the next person to be called. The chair I got told to go to, was open and ready for at least 30 mins before they finally told me to go to chair 8. I had been standing in line for at least an hour or more. I got here at 6:20 and didn't get in a chair till 8:20.
Before I get into the meat of it I would like to make people aware of the reviews they have received so far. Don't be fooled by all the 5 star ratings , they give an extra $10 for good reviews. Had high hopes for the new location but it's just as bad as 23rd street. Very slow even with no one there. I do have a big complaint though. Every time they insert the needle they have to come back and constantly adjust it and of course it's gonna bruise when they do this. They are fully aware of this. Their go to ex
Great place, really loving the people that work there especially TAYLOR he's so nice and sweet every time I come in hard worker as well
Horrible staff, speed, and efficiency. It took 3 hours after checking in standing in a line with less then 20 people to even enter the medical bay. They don't care about the people only seeing them as money
They are always slow and backed up. All the good employees left and you respond call us. Well to call you means sitting on hold. No ty.
Don't go here. Every time I've been they've messed up the first sick, wasted at least 20 minutes with the nurse being spoken to like a child, and have been deffered for something as small as a torn cuticle. They're poorly trained, lazy, and will gladly waste your time.
I have never been treated so well in a medical context. I was straight up parting ways with CSL until I had the experience that I had here. From the start, Amy answered my call and put me in a totally different frame of mind. And it didn't stop there. I wish I could call them all out by name and recognize their efforts individually but I can't. Only kept track of Amy's name and my own. But everyone from Amy to the nurses were just exceptional. Such calm, compassion and professionalism! I'm 53 and still a wi
The staff is always very nice. Amy was very informative and knowledgable. All the staff members are pleasant and make it a joy to donate. The facility is clean. I have this location only 4 stars due to the long time I had to wait on the nurse and that they are not open Sunday & Monday. I hate to risk making the lines longer but I must suggest you try this location.
Friendly staff, but they spend lots of time talking amongst each other about each other. The management comes out and loudly has discussions about things that should be said in the back. It's disrespectful to the employees and the customers. Not sure of her name but there is one lady who doesn't want to work. Always finding reasons to go to the back, take a break, etc while there is 10 people waiting to get stuck. I'll come back due to it being friendlier than the one on 23rd but as a business the managemen
For the most part everything goes well at this center. The only problem is some may not be trained so well. I never have an issue with my iron. I have been sent away 3 times, and all 3 times has been the same associate. I went in and asked another associate to explain the process to me. I then told her about those 3 cases. She then showed me how the iron is measured and how just being a little off with the machine can mess your results up. When I checked in my iron was at 46%, then she showed me just being
I have gone up there several times to try to donate. I'm given different reasons why each time. This time was because I scratched my arm and it left a mark. Last time I had cat scratches on my hand, time before that I had gotten a required vaccine a week prior and had to wait until 6 weeks later. So I'm not bothering anymore. I'm up there an hour plus to find out I can't..
They do everything they to not pay you or pay as little as possible. You wait in line for hours to get $30. Bunch of bs.yeah? (Update: contact link doesn't work)
There are people there who will say your hematocrit is low because they get a thrill out of deferring people. They do this when your hematocrit is actually normal, they just say it's low because they get some sort of high from telling you that you can't donate. On certain weekdays there is a lady there that all of the regulars know she will defer you because she doesn't want to work extra. The visitors who know her refuse to be screened by her, because she will say your hematocrit is low every time. One n
Donated on my 5th donation and was informed I would receive 100 dollars before I went back.. after I was done I was told, I would only get 50 dollars. Went and talked to a manager about the issue and was told I was one day late on within the first 30 days.. and therefore I would only get 50.. I told her I was told I was supposed to be getting 100 and they wouldn't do anything to help make it right and basically was told to back off... I call customer service and informed them and they said there nothing the
A bunch of incompetence. The last 4 1/2 years of my life I had to scrape and crawl everyday to make it to the next with a TBI I was given by a great gentleman. I finally found heaven with a medication a neurologist from New York that I found helped me with. That medication has other uses and doesn't go well when donating, so I went off the medication for the length they said and went back. They told me I have Parkinson's now and need to wait a year. I need to update my own doc I guess lmao. My fiance can't
I was nervous to visit this location based on reviews but it is closer to me than the Mustang location, so I tried it. Everything went great for me! All staff members were knowledgeable and friendly and they got me in and out quick.
Can't ever pick up the dang phone yet wants ME to call them to remind their doctor to HIS JOB of approving me for donation. Not to mention the fact the doctor is only there one ONCE a week and ONLY after 2pm
This CSL location is by far the best in my opinion. They are very personable ,polite, and professional not to mention there's no wait time . I can't say enough good about them . I've used two of the plasma service conglomerate companies not associated with CSL and I cannot say anything close to that about them. These gals rock!
I have been donating with CSL for about 2 years now. Originally the one on 23rd street, and was so thrilled that CSL was opening another location closer to me! This CSL on Nw 50th, is amazing. Friendly people, fast lines, most of the time zero wait times. They make you feel welcome and wanting to come back.. which I will.
For some odd reason because their system is new the first two (and only) times I donated something showed up on their computer screens they made them run around like chickens with the rot heads cut off. I had to get in and out of line several times and see the MSA multiple times and 4-5 hours later finally was able to donate. I hope the third time is the charm for a easy donation process. The staff is friendly and they empathized with me.
The center staff were extremely nice and the lines were short. However, there were expected delays (around 30 - 45 minutes) due to processes being vetted and smoothed out as the location is new. I anticipate this will get better in time.
Went too csl on 50th and MacArthur too donate but didn't because I had too stand in a line for 45 minutes that never moved I didn't understand it because they had plenty of open beds avoid this center unless you like standing in line ??????
First of all-I'm terrified of needles. My kid has been amazing this year and deserves something cool?. So I decided to come up here and donate. The staff was amazing. I'll say this much/when they say drink your water-listen!!! My donation was so fast because of it
They rip you off! They don't give out any gifts or anything! The only thing you get is irewards which is 50 points each donation. Guess how many points you need to cash anything out? 1,000 points for a whopping $10! Smh the only reason why I go here is because it's close and I love the comics!
They leave you hooked up for 30 minutes , only complaint really
They horrible and they don't know how to stick. The staff uneducated about this type of thing. They don't train staff long. They don't care about the customers. They have people waiting upfront?. Looking at them like they in the wrong and they wait to put your coupons in for like 3 days. Also they offering $10.00 for a 5 star review
First time here and it was amazing, I have donated before but this location is closer to me. Will be back next staff n cleanliness was great.
CSL plasma is a place i've gone to countless times to donate. today i was with nurse sheri a older white woman. by far the rudest person ive ever met there. she did not know how to navigate the computers and when seeking help other nurses came in to help her and afterwards she was extremely rude saying. shes a nurse not a secretary and i said, well its just software somtimes u gotta just memorize it to get use to it. after that she was rude and denied me. i have never been denied at CSL plasma until today
The building looks nice. From what I could see the seats look new and the staff were nicer than im generally used to. My 2 star is for the company as a whole. Dont ever mess up or get confused because you'll get permanently banned over a simple miscommunication and it doesn't matter where you go its the first thing they see. Ill take my plasma to your competition I guess ?????
I have been donating plasma with CSL in Mustang for a couple years. Was excited they opened a donation center closer to my home My first time at the new CSL in Warr Acres was great. The facility is pristine clean. Staff up front was very helpful. April was my phlebotomist. She was thorough evaluating my veins to find the best one I felt nothing when she inserted the needle for my draw.
CSL Plasma is amazing. All I have to do is donate plasma and I get money. It's sterile, the beds are comfortable, they treat you wonderfully and they give you Capri suns and crackers. I have no complaints, I will keep coming back here as much as possible.
I Just Don't Understand Why There Be So Many Beds Open At All Times . We Stand In A Line For Hours . When There's Over 15 Beds Available!
This is a great way to make some extra money. But going through the whole donation process does take a while. I think I've averaged about 2.5 hours in and out. The employees are hit or miss, but Kim has been the best phlebotomist imo.
The staff are really helpful and kind, they are attentive and good at their jobs.. that's awesome when coming to the size of needle going in.. super clean too.
Went and TRIED to donate on more than 5 occasions and was told every single time I was differed due to some mediocre or minor thing if it wasn't my attitude after getting differed, I was told I was going to speak with a manager about said incident, waited on their call back which was SUPPOSED to be an hoirnturned into a day and I called twice at that just to be told I'm PERMANENTLY differed after driving BACK up there... total of 5vtrips for absolutely nothing!
Friendly staff and very clean facility. My first time donating took longer than I expected. I went after work on a Tuesday and was there about 3 1/2 hours. Each time should not take that long from know on. Overall, good experience and I plan on dating on a regular basis in the future.
CSL is awesome I recommend everyone 50th and Mc Arthur is were it's at! BL ?? Big Truck Over Haulen
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
