CSL Plasma Warren, OH

VERY impressed with this center. The workers there actually treat you like a human. Speak to you with kindness. Educate you about the whole process of donation. The center in Youngstown is rude and mean. I won't be going back there ever. This center has been so inviting and kind that I highly recommend them to anyone! Please give these workers a raise! Great staff.

Super friendly staff, very professional. There is never enough staff for check in or on the floor though. I have left several times due to not wanting to be there for 2-3 hours. If they would add more staff it would be the perfect experience

So I go to CSL today to donate told I'm not allowed because I have a bruise on my arm that their machine caused. I was halfway through my cycle when it caused a quarter size bubble in my vein and about 3/4 raised. the nurse said the needle caused it.Bullshit. I think there medical staff need to go back to school and learn something.

I have been donating plasma at CSL intermittently since they opened in Warren, which has been about 8 or 9 years. They got new machines in the last year that are very fast. They also started a new magic formula that tells them how much they can take from you plasma-wise. Let's cut to the chase, They increased weight categories they pay less. I have ALWAYS had a positive experience while donating at the Warren location! I have been donating for over a year and have gotten familiar, over this time period, with the great staff of this location. They always have positive energy and enthusiasm. They appear to be supportive with each other, as they demonstrate teamwork towards each other. From the front of clinic, where vitals are taken, to the back of the clinic, where donations are being conducted, there has always been a welcoming atmosphere. The

Love Samantha, she's the best I was very nervous to donate (I hate needles) and she was so kind and just talked me though the vitals check and assured me the people on who put me on the machines are great and nice. she said she knows from experience. Just started donating at this site and was impressed with the people I watched so far Kristin,amanda , Megan and Jackie, very very professional made me feel very comfortable with my what I was doing with the donation. They make you wait at least total 2 hours and make you lay on bed doing nothing and wait 40 minutes. It is very hilarious they said until people of 1 row of bed is done they can't start and making 5 people waste time 40-50 minutes on bed. I never experienced this with other branch. This is very very ridiculous.

If you're looking to do a good deed and earn a little extra cash on the side CSL is definitely the place to go. They provide a very safe and sanitary environment with great customer service. Staff is very helpful and courteous from reception to the donation floor! Very professional! Great experience! Would definitely recommend!

Staff is always friendly. The receptionist are all very friendly and accommodating and treat you like family! The phlebotomist are amazing they have never missed my vein! Keep up the great work CSL!

Great place nice staff and helpful

Being a decade long donor in the plasma industry Ive been to 7 centers in 3 states. (only two CSL's though) This is the only place I've ever felt a need to issue a warning. The Facility and staff are nice enough. The usual Center business runs smooth as I've never had to wait and the center is clean and staff professional and courteous. I had my once a yr physical, the nurse pressed under my rib cage and down with pressure, I winced, she asked if it hurt and I didnt even have time to answer and she said, your reaction tells me it did, you cannot come back w/o a letter from your doc. I am a bigger lady and said I reacted due to you pushing down on my diaphragm under my rib. She said she does this all day long and no one ever has a reaction, Really? Kristin and Lindsay are the best Phlebotomists. Not only can they stick you good but they are so kind and caring. Always professional and always make you smile. These 2 are wonder assests to your company!

Biked 10 miles to try and donate for a little cash to get medicine for my dying dog, only to be told I can't donate because I would overwhelm the other donators or staff because i was sweaty? massively disrespectful and ignorant, I will not be returning to this location. Had to bike another 10 miles back without being able to get a drink or any medication for my dog.

I drive 45 mins out of my way to donate at this particular center. Every time I walk in, 1 of the girls up front are doing or saying something hilarious, it helps with my anxiety. They keep it fun, but professional, including the girls in the back!

The staff are amazing and the process is quick and painless! I've been to a few other places that offer the same services and would definitely choose this one over them all!

Been going here for a year and haven't had any problems. When they get busy that means you'll be there a while. Theres A lot more staff now and they're very helpful. I suggest to go in the morning when they open and make sure u drink a lot of water the day before. This allows them to find a vein and it's a lot easier on the body, also a lot quicker when donating.

I have been donating here regularly for over 3 years now. The staff is wonderful and everything is always clean. The wait times vary but I can usually get in and out in a little over an hour. I always recommend donating at csl to friends and family.

Doesn't have enough staff and discriminate against people

I've been coming to csl for a few years and every time I come in here they are always laughing and joking and Making me feel at home. One if their phlebotomist Sarah is like family and always has the best energy. All in all one of the best places to donate at 100%

Staff lacks ability to be reasonable and considerate. They will knit pick you over the most meaningless marks then tell you you can not donate. They waste your time and energy and it's quite disturbing.

This place is very unorganized. You have staff standing around conversation while clients are literally freezing and waiting to be unhooked. Their is one person stick to every four people unhooking which causes a huge delay in getting people seated and hooked up. You have staff that state they refuse to stick because they don't like it, so they will just stand there waiting for another worker to come. The employees here are very nice but the way it's set up is screwed up. I spent an HOUR at this facility today. Since it has been 6 months since I donated, I had to rewatch videos, go through the whole getting weighed and getting my vitals and THEN they proceeded to have me do an updated physical. No until the physical, when I had already been there an hour, did they tell me I could not donate for MONTHS because of a recent hospitalization (which was 2 months ago). I've been to multiple CSL Plasma locations and this one is by far the worst. Not once have I had a problem with a single other location but have had problems both times I've visited this location. They are slow, rude and try to make everything more difficult. The staff was kind and courteous answered all my questions as I was a fairly new donor. Had no problem donating when my blood pressure was a little high they let me sit for 15 minutes until it went down and I was able to donate all in all a good experience

I donated 2 days ago. I can say I won't be going back to this location especially. My arm should not be this bruised my bicep was swollen and almost unusable for the past 2 going on 3 days. I've been going regularly for years and I'm about to call it quits. They nit pick EVERYTHING. I do real work for a living and I'm constantly getting sent back to the nurses to make simple judgment calls for small blemishes. I got deferred for over a week for this one. Because it was a "raised bump" that was too close to my puncture sight.

A person should receive more than $30 after there 2nd visit.for the lives that are being saved because of my donation.other CSL locations DO receive more per donation, like Austintown who receives $85 after 2 visits. What's up with that?

I have been coming here for a couple year's. I've never had an issue with the one in Kent but I come to the one in Warren. And nothing but issues. First they put the needle in my arm wrong causing me lots of pain and a 4 inch by 4 inch bruise. I had to wait for the doctor to release me. My wife and I just attempted to donate at this location. I brought my ID, social security card, birth certificate and a piece of mail. Literally everything needed to verify my identity. I was a loyal donor for years at multiple CSL plasma centers. I went in this last time and was told my chart had lapsed and I needed a physical redone, however I would get new donor fees. I went back through the whole new donor process. 3 hours. When I left at the conclusion of my successful donation there was only $35 on my card... My boyfriend and I had an awful experience today at CSL. There is not enough staff to cover the donor load. While waiting in line we and other donors got very upset because there were five people in line and one of the two workers processing donors said loudly and clearly I'm going to lunch, which left one worker to take care of all of us. When another donor complained the worker got rude and disrespectful arguing with the donor.. other people were just cutting in line and going to the empty booths instead

This is a very UNPROFESSIONAL establishment. Alot of the staff have attitudes and try to take it out on the donors. One screener told me I could not donate because I had on shorts that were too short. I am old enough to be her grandmother...It was 80 degrees outside...I had a flannel shirt wrapped around my waist and a sweatshirt tossed over my arm cause it gets cold in there. This place is great, people who work here are kind, just one thing I would like to suggest, in the waiting line for donor floor after vitals would be nice to get some type of benches along the wall for to sit when we are waiting in line for an hour. There's plenty of room for benches..

CSL will subtly bully their donors, because they know they are of low-income and will not speak out against condescending treatment, and that they are financially obligated to continue donating plasma. CSL takes full advantage of this, and their attitude is reflected in most of their staff. There are some good staff members, but they are outnumbered. There is an acceptable degree of professionalism, and returning donors only spend 3 hours tops most of the time.

This center is very clean, all the staff from beginning to end are super friendly, professional and make you feel at ease.

Employee missed the vein. Got a huge bruise. Couldn't donate the next available time. Was told I had to have the Dr. Look at it. Called the day he was supposed to be there at 11. He was gone by 12:20.

These plasma places are open up in towns that have a lot of homeless poor people! They are getting rich off of our people they make a lot more off of one bag of plasma than they pay if everyone stood up against theee places you'd make more than what they are paying people! We need to quit letting people & places screw us over, I talk to a lady who researched these places there put where poverty is high quit making people richer off of others sickness

Well i lost a month of donations because of erroneous information. I didnt have my social card but didnt need it. I explained i hadn't been here in the last six months. So because soneone didnt want to listen to understand i lost.

Nice staff, pay is great first 5 times after that it's a little less than most places, I've tried to call on 5 different occasions with questions and I've only received an answer twice. Moves pretty fast and has an app that can give you an estimate of when it's best to donate

Closest csl plasma center near me it's about an hour drive and they refused to let me donate because of a tiny red mark on my arm that was too close to where they stick me, if I could post the picture I have of it I'd show how ridiculous it was, and since I've stopped going I've had no red marks, so I'm guessing it's whatever they're putting on my arm that's causing it.

Nurse ratchet differed me for playing music in the parking lot and I didn't even donate! I wasn't signed in and didn't get paid for anything so how can I get differed?! Gave 2 stars because most the staff is professional. Will be speaking with management, hopefully no more nurse ratchet!
