CSL Plasma Webster, TX

CSL Plasma Webster, TX

Reviews Summary

Mixed reviews with notable extremes. Many praise friendly, professional staff and clean facilities, particularly highlighting efficient, skilled phlebotomists. However, consistent complaints cite excessive wait times (3-6 hours), poor management, understaffing, and rude employees. Several report botched needle sticks and dismissive attitudes toward donor discomfort. First-time donors often report positive experiences, while regulars express frustration with inefficiency and line-cutting policies. Cleanliness and newer equipment receive praise, but operational flaws overshadow these positives for frequent visitors.

Most of the staff are very genuine and helpful... Just the overall experience has been rough. Ive donated over 100 times in Florida and never heard of anything about bruising preventing you from donating on the OPPOSITE arm. Arm has absolutely no pain in it, I simply left the arm wrap on for 12 hours after donating (i went to sleep once I got home, ate and did some minor things around the home). I'd be a bit more understanding if it was severe bruising... but I didn't even notice it for almost a week befo

Darilyn (I hope i spelled her name correctly) is definitely the best I've had as far as my stick. She did smoothly and with ease she got the flash in the iv and best part is I did it feel a thing. I have rolling bins and the vein she stuck sits in awkward position. And the machines are faster here! Will definitely come back to this location!

1st time at this site. Hands-down the cleanest & well organized location visited. possible recent renovation & new apheresis machines. Every staff member was professional & pleasant. Overall good energy??

Hello, I had a positive experience at this place. It was my first time and it was pleasant. The nurse linda did an excellent job. I messed up when they gave me a survey and I am sorry about that. I did not meant to do you guys dirty like that

Some of the employees are nice but they just changed there payment system and now you can't do bank transfers like before and said new system is horrible. Will not come back.

What an absolute joke. We called in and spoke with them before driving 40 minutes to donate. When we arrived, my wife was denied because we got married a year ago and they needed to see our marriage license even though we had both of her social security cards, her ID, and a piece of mail. We offered to show a picture of it but they denied it. We specifically asked if we needed to bring anything else with us and they assured us that we didn't on the phone. I would've understood their "policy" if they had

To the CSL plasma center at 118 W Bay Area Blvd. Thank You For Your Great Service, and kind and humble employees at CSL plasma center. Keep up the great work and keep On smiling to your customers ?? And a special shout out to Linda, Thank for your great service You gave me, and the uplifting of supporting needed to hear from you. May God bless you and keep you in his perfect will. Thank You. I like this place, everyone was super friendly and helpful. It honestly didn't take as long as I thought it would, but that can change anytime you go lol. The chair was comfy. And even though I had a slight issue with my card, the guy upfront was helpful, even though I'm sure he did not have to.

Brent is the best! If you have hard veins or a little scared of needles. Brent is your guy! He makes you feel comfortable and everything is painless. Thanks Brent!

Slowest plasma center I've ever been to and needle used is largest I've had. The worst thing is slow workers and not enough staff so they make you wait in lines until someone is available.

The facility was super clean and all of the staff was very friendly, very professional, they made everything go very smoothly and comfortable.

Everyone is great but Lexi D is the best. Perfect stick. Clean environment.

Super sweet staff, very friendly and they stick great.

If I could add 0 stars I would. I am a phlebotomist of 4 years and have experience working at a plasma center as well. I am so disgusted and upset with this place of business. I have HUGE veins and they stuck me wrong the first time it started blowing and bruising immediately, so they took it out and tried again. Second attempt, they didn't even get the vein so someone else (lady that stuck me first) came over and adjusted the needle and as soon as the return started my entire arm started swelling and I had

Brent was awesome he helped me feel really relaxed and comfortable enough to get my blood flowing properly

This was my first time donating since moving to Clear Lake and so happy that I chose CSL everyone there is so friendly and it's super clean

Great first time is always tough mbut Mrs.Kiska made it as easy and enjoyable as possible highly recommend this location

Love the staff! Quick and easy process in a very clean facility. Always welcoming front end staff as well.

Brent R the most professional person there I give him a 10 outta 10 ?? he always on point and deserves a raise ...

As I've been going here, I noticed some irregularities. The 3rd visit, which was the week before last was had fewer workers on the donor floor due to a scheduling issue I overheard. Before I donated, apparently, they were saying donors needed to get their heights checked in the system, which I did. When the machine was done drawing my blood and withdrawing saline, the needle was left in my arm for about nearly 8 minutes. The worker who came over to bandage my arm made it TOO tight. From last visit this past

Great place to go to if you're ever in need of extra cash! Lines are long and it's a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth the money. Kami is a great worker and checked back on me and was very well trained. I barely even felt it when she stuck me with the needle. Request Kami if she is working. She is great

The employees act like that don't want to work here. They only had 6 people in beds with a line of 15 people and it stayed like that for 30 minutes. The ONLY time they get people in efficiently is when their manager is in the back making them fill all the bed. Even then they still complain like it's not their job.

I love this place they have the sweetest staff! Rob is super attentive and professional but also very compassionate towards donors. Tava always has a smile on her face and its makes the decision to come here that much easier

I have donated for the last 4 years off and on (probably 40 times total) my left arm is very difficult to stick and have had many donaton places give up on that arm do to difficulty, today my right arm that I always use was giving the issues for some reason so they switched to my left halfway through even though I warned they of the problems I have had with it. Brent R was able to get a vien perfectly on his first try. Very impressive If you understand how many issues I have had on that arm. Just wanted to

Super friendly! Jay Strong got me in and out quick! Will be recommending!

So the fire alarm went off. All had to leave the Bldg then do the process all over again. Yes the employees were fast. There is one person that I know that pokes my arm perfect. ( have had issues in the past. So I asked Patricia, guessing the manager. And very rudely and very unprofessional snarled NO. If she can't handle the pressure of being in charge. Maybe the company needs to rethink their leaders. Tisha is the awesome employee stabber person. fYI

They take there sweet ass time doing everything.10 people per bay and half of the machines are broken they need to calibrate there machines and the y play on the floor ....the African man is always looking like his is on some type hallucinate

At my new donor experience at the CSL in Webster, the staff was attentive, and the environment was clean even though it was at the end of the day before closing. Quinn made the experience even more pleasant by checking on my progress throughout the visit. Good job, you guys!

I have been coming here for about 6 months, twice a week, until a few bad experiences. Then I came back and had a few more bad experiences, but today I saw Rachael and everything went great. She did a great job and no issues. Thank you Rachael.

It does not matter what time you arrive, there is a high chance that you will have to wait 2-3 hours just to get seated. Seems like there's a million lab coats walking around but only 4 that are actually doing something. Plan your day in advance, the waiting us no joke.

Great staff Great environment Very professional Have only got a bruised once, & had 1 really painful stick. It's ridiculous that I'm expected to show up 2 hours before opening to get a decent spot, but having to go to medical not once, but twice in one week was a poor experience. Having a policy in place to allow a new donors to skip the line is understandable. Letting someone cut in front of you because there screener was faster than yours is understandable. But not allowing someone to step back in line

I will start by saying this is a brand new center, and there seem to be many untrained/new employees - I'm sure those are issues that can be worked out over time. Even though this center isn't busy yet, be prepared to wait - I was on site from 10:30-3:00 on my first visit. I'm a seasoned donor, so I'm aware there is a long intake process, however I watched multiple employees skip clients so they could donate, people who came in after me skip me in the process, and lots of employees standing around while mu

Darrilyn assisted me and did an amazing job! She spoke very nice and calm towards me. The poke she did didn't hurt like the others. 10/10 would have her again.

This facility has HANDS DOWN the nicest staff!! Patients are treated with the upmost respect, and the technicians are super friendly! Special shout out to Jazz & Rachel!! Great job to everyone there!

Rob was very knowledgeable and attentive to all my questions...being this was my very first time. But most of all...very assuring that the staff was very highly experience in what they do. This location is clean and well organized...in and out within the time frame they quoted me on as a new donor...good job!!!

Linda-MSA was great and took good care of me at the center I appreciate you

Jay Strong is an awesome worker, every time I come he gets me in and out and on my way to donate. He makes the process efficient and worth coming back !!!

I worked there for 10 months as a phlebotomist, a lot of Roma on the donor floor, and was a regular gold donor there, after I left because I had to move to Florida, they permanently deferred me from every CSL in the states? would not recommend working there or dealing with the drama that goes on

If you want a painless experience with a friendly attitude, then I'd recommend going to Krystal. She's really good at what she does and makes you feel comfortable. It truly is a painless experience when you go to Krystal

Webster CSL plasma is the best?Especially Mr.Rob he's always respected by me because he gives nothing but respect and he's very very helpful? Now CSL plasma center in Webster is the place to donate?Tisha D is an amazing person as well she's always respectful with a great sense of humor and does her job very well?I would like to thank all of the CSL employees for doing a great job.

The trick is to come when it is not too busy. Otherwise you are looking at a two hour stay for a procedure that takes only 30 minutes. Platletes can take 90 minutes or more. Perhaps have some employees do nothing but change out machines and have other employees do nothing but take blood. Can't really complain. A place where you can earn $50 to $100 every other day.

Use to be my favorite place to donate, but the lines/times are getting worse instead of better. Some of the people don't seem to care or act like it anyways. For me the long waits are getting ridiculous.

I am giving this review 5 stars only because of the friendly and professionalism shown by Krystal. Anytime when I go donate I will request Krystal to put the needle in my arm. She comes by to check to see if I need anything and the way she inserts the needle makes it completely painless. Some phelbotmist will hurt you because they cannot find your vein. Thanks to such a great phelbotmist like Krystal, I will keep coming back. Keep up the great work!

I have been a donor for over a year now I love CSL over any other Plasma Center located in Webster I want to stress how important it is to eat a good meal and drink lots of water before you donate If your not prepared you can have a donor reaction Which simply means you could get lightheaded nausea and possibly faint ..but if you follow the direction this doesn't happen After 100 donations I thought I would be ok to donate with out following my routine And I had a reaction they were awesome Jazz the cutest

Excellent place everyone was nice and friendly especially Linda.

Everytime I come here I hope Jess is screening me! All the screeners have been very nice but Jess is always a very caring screener!

Just want to say something positive about a certain employee who always has a smile on her face every time I come to donate she's super kind and very professional shout out to Rage

Jessy is always so professional and kind. I love it when I get the have her check me. She always brightens my day!

One of the attendees is a straight up liar. I went today to try to donate switching from another class center, and they wanted to tell me that I'm deferred. Upon calling CSL customer service they inform me that I am in fact not deferred. their lazy come on here and someone was in their time. If you don't like your job, don't work here!

They REALLY need to do something about wait time!!! It's beyond ridiculous! It's always 3 hours! Employees standing around doing nothing! So, it's not an understaffing issue!

I don't know which location is worse out of this one and the Baytown location. This location is poorly managed. The staff just stands around gossiping while the lines are almost to the entrance! You can easily be standing in line for 4-6 hours! I urge anyone to go donate at BioLife or any other plasma collection companies before coming here. This should be your absolute last option! You've been warned. ??

Jay Strong always make sure the service is great. Always look forward to seeing him work when I come on my donating days.

Just absolutely awful wait times there's no real coordination it seems understaffed half the personal seems rude I'm sitting here now writing this review they won't let me donate because they say I need a physical but won't let the nurse that's available do it have to wait for someone else for some reason can't tell me how long it will be they need me more people they need some professionalism got here at 6 15 am it's now 8 am and I haven't seen anyone other then 1 nurse for physicals I was 7th in line now

So I'm a return doner that comes about every 6 months well so Friday I got up early knew I would have to get a physical passed then went to donate the newish tech says I don't like your vains had a floor person say come over and she didn't like the position of my vains and told me for your time we will pay you out come back in two days so I did went this morning and low and behold same tech says let me look asked the floor person to do a vain check she just refused so the manager says ill pay yo

This place deserves 0 stars. They Have hardly any staff. You stand in line for over an hour because only one person is sticking people. Their phlebotomists are not trained well at all. Every single member of staff is extremely rude. I was standing in line at vitals with no one in front of me and the girl at the desk kept looking up at me and ignoring me. Finally she said "can I help you?" I said yes I've been standing here waiting for a few minutes. She then Said "well you can wait a couple more". All the s

Ok, so the issues are that the older black lady, idk if she's jamaican, is rude and not considerate at all. She just sticks the needle in like nothing, and it really hurts, and as I'm pumping, I can feel the needle she just put it way too much in my arm. She's also terrible at plopping yours vains. I hope I don't get her again. The older black guy who is probably jamaican is also rude. A lady was giving him a hard time, and he took it out on others. Like he chose what finger to stick me and was just being r

Employee Mr Rob has excellent customer service and personality and makes you feel safe when ever you come to donate at the CSL Plasma in Webster TX 160 W. Bay area Blvd 77598

I am a very nice and respectful person I have several family and friends that give plasma at this location out of good faith and a few extra bucks to help ends meet and we've all had an issue with the same older African (no disrespect intended) lady I guess she's the manager or whatever her attitude it so stand offish and she has horrible customer service as if she owns the place. I gave almost a full bottle of plasma 1/2 from being completely full and no I'm not a new doner this was my 4th donation and sh

It's my first time ever visiting this location. Although it is very clean in here and the staff are pretty professional, the line in here is extremely long and they currently only have 2 booths open to screen donors. It's currently 10:30am and I've been standing in line since 9:43. And the line still has no end in sight. I don't think I'll be coming to this location to donate again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to come here either

Jessi is so nice and sweet quick and efficient

I've been visiting CSL Plasma off / on since college (2015) in several different states. WA/FL/WI/LA now TX. This by far is one of thee most exceptional plasma centers. Staff professionalism, overall cleanliness, responsiveness to guest? the whole nine yards. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it's always room for improvement. Keep up the great work.

Rob did a fantastic job! Perfect finger prick. Great attitude and fun guy. Keep it up Rob!

Great place to donate. The staff there are very friendly and professional. Only thing I think should be improved approved upon is bonuses.

I really don't get all the negative reviews. The most I've ever waited to be cleared is 30 minutes and most times I walk right in and there's no line. Some of the staff is friendlier than others, but I have never encountered a rude employee, nor an uneducated one who doesn't know what they're doing. Sometimes I go frequently, sometimes a few weeks pass before I donate, but I've donated quite a lot and have never had so much as a light bruise afterwards. My only complaint is that compensation is low for retu

Professional staff. Jessi always does a great job.

Great experience doctor was great so was staff

There's a lady there that always has an attitude, she only works at the check in doing the arm checks and what not . She never wears he own face shield so I don't know her name but she always has big lashes , makeup done , dark lipstick , and a wig. and she's so rude. She needs to find a career in something that doesnt require customer service. Or even human decency.

Only come here if you're a first time donor. Otherwise you'll spend the next 5 hours waiting in line. I can see at least 20 machines open and yet the line for waiting is almost out the building.

Great atmosphere, Shannon is always in a positive mood, very attentive. makes the experience very enjoyable

This is my third time coming to this location. The wait time for the donor floor line is kinda long and the staff on the floor don't move with purpose at times which I get as a Pleb myself . I didn't appreciate how on this third visit the Pleb made a new hole in my arm without asking me first considering I have small scar tissue and never have issues with my donation. Now I'll have two unnecessary marks on my arm!!! As a pleb I always get the donors permission to make a new whole especially if I feel like

This place doesn't deserve 1 star . It deserves - 5 star's. Y'all need to find another place to donate. Staff is totally incompetent ,under trained & very rude. I see a whole lot reviews about bad stick's and bad bruises. It's all true. Dealt with the same problem myself. Lines always wraped around the corner because only one person working one booth when there's several not being used. The back has plenty of staff but nevers more then one section It will take you hrs to get in & out of there & you won't

Tried 2 days in a row to come here as a new donor. Yesterday the lady at the front desk said the computers were down for new donors and to come back today. I showed up today and she told me they weren't taking new domors today. I told her I was here yesterday trying as well, she didn't care and sent me on my way. She was so rude and dismissive. I will never come back to this location.

Dont go that place! I came from another plasma center. This location made me wait 2 hours and l was still on the line for physical check! There was another line for donation through entrance. All employees were hanging around , laughing doing nothing. Stay away from that place.

Great experience, was in and out fast. I didn't catch her name but my phlebotomist was great and I didn't even feel the stick. Another, crystal, was also very friendly and attentive.

I'm a healthy person with good veins and the plasma process has been a breeze for me. I have donated 6 times now and there has not been any issues at all. The place is clean and well organized and everyone is super friendly. Crystal is the best!

Quick, easy, and clean! I recommend CSL in Webster! Jay Strong did my screening and was great!

My first time donating plasma in a long time and every person that helped me through the setup process was very nice. Jada especially!

Niluka is absolutely amazing & Knowledgeable And respects everyone she is an example of a great employee & phlebotomist

I've been coming here for quite a while now, great place & Rob & Tisha are awesome! Super attentive and always answers any questions that I have.

Best customer service ever! Very knowledgeable!

DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU GET YOUR MONEY*** **CSL Breached their own contract, and refused to pay my husband for his donation** I would LOVE to give this facility 5 stars, I really would. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and they provide you with food and drink for after donations. The issue is, my husband and I went in and signed up to donate plasma. We both donated plasma, we both got cards, and we went to our car in the parking lot. While there, we activated our cards. My funds were on my card, my husband

Jessica did a great job. Very clean and moves pretty quickly.

My first donation went smoothly. To my dismay I was told to come back only two days later (Friday, then Sunday). My body felt overall depleted but I needed the money and that was the deal. My second donation, however, went horribly wrong. Immediately out of the gate, the phlebotomist neglected to properly pop my veins before attempting to insert the massive gauge needle into them same hole that was starting to heal (this can cause permanent damage ie. scar tissue). She completely breeched my vein (stuck the

Tava is an absolute joy everytime I come in. She always has a wonderful attitude ??????

Kami was very polite. And extremely gentle every step of the way.

I have donated over 15 times but the last time I donated I got queasy and one of the head ladies gave me attitude and refused to give me crackers even after I was finished donating she told me they were crackers upfront, so I went out front and there were no crackers Anyway, I called her rude across the lobby since she was not helping me try to feel better even though I was telling her for 20+ Minutes that I did not feel good, but because I was joking around, she thought that I was not being serious even th

Excellent service and every friendly staff! Super Jay is one of the nicest individuals

Staff is always welcoming and efficient. The process is breezy from the start. Shout out to Darrilyn! Thanks for the smooth stick and friendly interaction.
