Had not had any issues with me donating as a first time donor. This last time I donated the female tech was very rough with the needle insertion and it was actually painful. After I started the donation process, the cuff deflated and I noticed tingling in my arm and sure enough my vein was infiltrated. I was treated properly and they used my other arm so I could finish my donation. As a medical professional myself, I do think her being very rough with the needle insertion has a lot to do with my infiltrati

1st time donating plasma went in super nervous but the Nurse Jeremy, Phlebotomists Erick and David were super helpful. Definitely coming back again to donate some more! -Aby Martinez

CSL Plasma center is beyond ridiculous they got workers there that have the flu and COVID and not letting go home and allowing them to be in contact with donors and if they try to leave they count it against them like come on this is crazy you all are supposed to be helping ppl not makeing them sick place really needs to reevaluate management. And what protocol are for sick employees and not count it against them and this is at 701 here in weslaco tx

I had no problems getting the first donation. They told me next time to just bring a proof of address since it was my first time they would let me in. Came today not once but 3 times. They wouldn't accept my car insurance with the effective date of 5/10/24 expiring 11/06/24. So I took them a letter that came in with my name and address from the bank. They couldn't accept that because it didn't have a date. She said if you bring me the envelop that it came in we can let you in the back. So here I come a 3rd

I was a regular patient here and unfortunately this will be my last visit here. The front staff seems to prioritize their admin duties and neglect the growing vitals line while the donor line remains empty. The changes in donor fees from an even 50 to 40/60 split makes my first donation not worth the drive even if I'm down the road. Disappointed to say the least.

Horrible experience, I'm a returning donor and got kicked out just because my temperature was 99.6. The cut off was 99.5. I went home to check my temperature and it was 98.7 so either their machine was stupid or the lady put the data wrong. Just know that I am pissed about this cause this has been the third time ?something wrong? happened. This place needs to have better equipment. And please don't ever tell me ?you can't donate today but you can try tomorrow? ever again. It is annoying to hear.

Never picks up the phone , employees are VERY VERY RUDE ! the pay is not worth 40 / 60 ! they only have 2 sections open when they should have all 4 rolls open on the donor floor ! The front employees all they do is talk and take 5 minutes EACH PERSON to call next for vitals ! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

Iv been a returning donor for 6 times this time my 7th donation the "colored" male messed up and my cousin 2 days prior to me he's not good He messed up both of my viens!!

I'm happy with new machines, what took a hour to donate now only takes 30 minutes. But this place needs to hire more staff. Not even half of the beds in the back are used, and sometimes screening takes forever! Hire more people and pay them good so they last

Good Service and very professional big thanks to Clem and Jessica on their customer service very friendly

This place needs more staff. Been coming here for a while and lines are always super long and there's only 2-3 people checking vitals when there's 7 desks for staff, and in the donor floor they only have 4/5 rows open out of 10. Lines would be moving a lot faster if there was more staff to assist more patients. You spend 1-2 hours just in line waiting.

They dropped the pay. They don't know how to properly explain things and then defer you bcus they didn't know how to explain causing me to lose money and time. Place is a joke. Since go it's not worth it. 45 for the first donation if your over 230lbs. Go to kedplasma. They pay every one the same and are professional

They would help a lot with rewards and points every time you would donate ,now they don't help with nothing ,no bonus no point then the low pay .then the staff pokes you wrong moust of the time that it hurts and at time leaves you bruising on your arm

I rarely have bad experiences ,but I can no longer give excuses. My seat was dirty, I had to be taken off and put another IV on my other arm, they keep leaving me connected when I'm already through.

worst plasma center. I transferred from Mcallen because this one was closer but the disorganization is ridiculous. No one at the front desk to help. They have a line of people waiting all the way until the door but refuse to open up a second deck. Yet the girls are waiting for each donor on the open deck to finish just laughing in between. Waited over an hour in line. Never has this issue in McAllen. Definitely transferring back if allowed to.

In serious need of more employees. At 3:15 pm on a Sunday there was 20 people waiting for vitals check and 25 waiting to go into the donor floor. And it's like this on weekdays too. No pic available because they are not allowed. And all that time your waiting, you have to be standing up.

This place is horrible, the staff is horrible, they all talk about each other behind their back, almost like they got no faith in each other... what a team. They're going to end up running that place to the ground. Where is management in all this?? Guess they have favorites. The staff make it seem like they don't care about their job, like they don't want to be there. A coworker of mine went to donate 2 days ago and got left with such a big bruise and he said that the girl who stuck him was cold and looked

Service is solid with some individuals. Others are pretty bad. As an individual who went to medical school for phlebotomy and general medical assisting procedures and precautions, the workers here are astoundingly beyond lackluster?anyone who comes here is at risk of having their arm paralyzed. First of all, they didn't realize until after shoving a giant gauge needle into an area of my arm composed of many nerves, highly visible (?yellow?) veins, and a main artery, that I have rolling veins. They told me,

They hurt my veins feelings by saying they were to thin and small lol. Can't say they're good or bad at their job but I prefer the one in McAllen. Anyways I went earlier today around 6ish and got poked twice lol. I drink and eat yet they tell me the same thing all over again. McAllen doesn't have that problem at all whatsoever but did enjoy having like four people around me ;-; make a whole commotion hehe

I wasn't able to get home after donating because they weren't depositing funds. Their system was down. I was an hour and a half walk from home. I'm currently waiting angry. It doesn't matter to them. Ride or no ride we have our plasma

If the atmosphere was a tad more friendly I'd give it a higher rating then 3 stars. I can't lie and say they are not professional with their work, However a good attitude could go a long way and make the donating experience allot better leaving me with the feeling of wanting to come back next time to this location. Comparing it to other plasma centers this one is not a very friendly environment; Again I can not lie not all of the staff carries them self this way, there are a select few that are people perso

Place is a disgrace to all plasma centers out there. Very horrible at their jobs and I was deferred for having a piercing that I've always had. It's not my fault they don't know how to do their job and correctly document upon further investigation, they didn't even have my tattoos on file. This place is horrible. I now go to another Plasma center where they do have all my tattoos and piercings documented. I should?ve never switched to CSL, and those who Are at other plasma centers don't switch because peopl

This place has poor workers, ancient equipment and poor management. Seems like the good workers leave. The process takes too long. Workers talk to each other too much. Leaving us to wait. I don't recommend this place at all.

Need to be better at being professional, and make sure they do it right when they put the needle in. A girl named ?Alex? messed up my left arm from 2wks ago and I bruised up a bit, and then from today a girl named ?Tiffany? didn't asked if I was ready to be poked with a needle, she just did it without asking me first and after the needle was removed, they put 1 cotton and I started bleeding alot and had to get another cotton ball to get all the blood.

3 lady employees sooo rude then talking about me on the side I'm literally so quiet I mind my business then take long to disconnect me on purpose one thought I was on the phone talking which I wasn't

Why with all the upgrades and new machines even at their busiest they only ever have 2 bays open....out of 5. It's a bunch of kids with no work ethic standing around gossiping. Unprofessional. Now instead of a secure fingerprint you are required to input your full social security number in the kiosk in full view with a dozen people behind you looking over your shoulder. Identity theft isn't an if it's a when with a system like this.

I just went on Wednesday and the girls in the back doing the poking are always in a bad mood??. This last time I went was the worst one because she was so rough when removing the needle and all. I mean I know we all have our days, but you are working with my veins??. I just feel like they could be better. The girls in the front are nice.

There's an older lady at this place named Norma that was hurrying me up while talking to my wife so they can seat me and draw plasma the seat they were going to put me on was ready but I had to make a last min decision on going to the restroom. Mind you there's no line no one ever being processed either. When I got out of the restroom I headed back to the bed and they said to wait behind the door that the bed was taken and that they don't hold beds I looked over to the bed they were going to put me on and

This place is so unorganized and the staff doesn't communicate with each other at all. The last 2 times I've been here, I've had to leave because of the unprofessional staff. Today I had to do the whole process from questions, vitals, and arm checks TWICE, because staff doesnt keep each other updated on patients. All I had to do was the physical and yet I couldnt even get that done because they insisted I redo the questions and vitals again. When it was finally time for me to wait for my physical, I waited

Victoria is Super kind and Professional!! Despite this being the center that pays the least, I come back because of the Amazing Attitude of the workers!! Wish The Donating Fee was higher tho :(,

Just like everyone else, the long wait game. was put into bay #4 before 10:25am there were 5 donors before me waiting to get hooked up. People waiting to go to donor floor were getting connected befors most of us in bay #4.....what is the point of placing people in a bay if they have to wait approx. 25 minutes to get connected....makes no sense. This negates the first come first serve donor intake ritual. Very poor donor bay management What can a donor do....NOTHING BUT GRIN AND BEAR IT!!

This center has gone down since I've been coming here. You have its fast and slow days. You have the good days in which the staff are pleasant and the days the staff gives you the evil eye cause they hate being stared at cause the line is backed up and they work on their on time. I guess it all depends on who the manager is on duty.

Jessica doing an excellent job as phlebotomist need more people like her very friendly and very professional WAY TO GO JESSICA ??????????

Been donating at this center for the longest time. Staff is very attentive but there is one thing I have always had a problem with. Center not being ready for clients. Center opens at a certain time but yet when we go in the staff is never ready to perform the task. Us clients have to wait more than 10 min for staff to be prepared. If center opens at a certain time I strongly believe staff should be ready to go as soon as doors open.

This center is very clean. Great custodial work. The staff are attentive courteous and efficient. Today Jacqueline gave me important information concerning my donation experience to make my next visit even better. Highly recommend this location and personally commend all of it's staff!

The NEW machines are worse than the older ones. They make you do more than 10 cycles and it tires your arm more. Petition to bring back the previous machines. ????

TL;DR: They are kind and efficient. Bring headphones+ blanket. Will you list me as your referral? Thank You! (Michael Anthony Chavez). I didn't feel too well one of the times and started to get frazzled, but the nurse helped me feel safe and put my mind at ease. It's never taken more than 45-60 minutes, which is great! The best times to go are during the week, Saturday is less busy than Sunday, and after 4 is always busiest. Be sure to bring HEADPHONES and an extra jacket because you will get cold when t

Terrible place I transferred from MCALLEN and staff has no problem on talking down to DONORS when they LEAVE "HELL" of a way TREATING DONORS most DONORS talk about how their on DRUGS like it's a JOKE this is the PLASMA helping AMERICANS "DISGRACE"

I went today and had the worst experience. A man there told me I was "uptight" 4 times and then smiled and chuckled while condescendingly telling me he knew he shouldn't say that. He was a jerk. Spoke with the assistant manager and he said he would look into if, but that felt more like something he had to say instead of something he actually meant. If I decide to donate again I will drive out of my way to another town before ever setting foot in that location again.

I just moved from Brownsville to Weslaco. This new facility is just getting going but boy do I get frustrated as to how slow they are in comparison to the way the Brownsville CSL Plasma Centers work. You need to be more organized as to how you manage time & how quick you get clients in and out. In Brownsville I'd be in and out in about 1 hour, here it's 2 plus...I've seen people leave because of the wait...Accuracy and speed would be nice. I know the staff is still getting the hang of doing their jobs but

It is the staff that make this place great. Don't be shy and talk to them. They have lovely and very hospitable environment as well as social skills. The people really make the experience smooth and seem to make the time pass while donating.??

They are good workers but I am not gonna donate plasma anymore. Enjoy helping people out, but for the price for giving, cannot do it anymore. The fact is, I know that things are making thousands of our plasma and I guess i'm just selfish

Everyone is very helpful and even cool! :)

This place is filthy . I've watched every employee touch 6+ people without changing gloves. Still covered in iodine and who knows what else from 4+ people ago INFECTION CONTROL is so important and I was very disgusted by what I saw!

My only complaint is Jacob has no skill sticking people. He stuck me & completely missed. I was messed up so badly & got deferred. After a month that I came back he stuck me again & wouldn't make the adjustment necessary when my blood wouldn't flow so it clotted & I got deferred AGAIN. Almost everyone he stuck was having problems. Everyone else is good just don't let Jacob stick you

alittle slower process than it should be but overall a decent experience. keep in mind it is a new center. there are things to get used to... new system, new employees. im sure they will get more proficient once they get into the flow of things.

Too many technical issues here, a simple signature pad doesn't work towards the end of the session and you have to restart the whole process like you were never there. Apparently one out of every two individuals encounter this issues and there has yet to be a resolution. It was dead here and I stayed for over four hours!

Well my personal experience was not so good this my 8th time going and I got nurse who was very rude and almost took my arm off when she got off the blood pressure cuff but all is good except that one nurse name Sirita if anybody get her as to go to the next nurse cause she very bad and rude

The lines are so long does not matter what time you come in 2-3 sometime 4 hours just to get little pay either the pay increase or the lines need to be shorter this is ridiculous

Real annoying how they're the only donation center that considers the slightest shade a bruise even though I'm pale white. Especially when it's they're lack of skill from re-sticking me that's bruising me. Picture is of the "bruise"

I'm very grateful to professionalism of two awesome employees that work at Weslaco CSL ,thank you to Graciela and Leticia for your outstanding service and you guys deserve a raise.

I think the scales are off I been going to this location and when I weight myself somewhere else my weight is less than when they weight me at csl . I think they should replace the scales .

This place had me come up there with multiple forms of identification, even my W2s (which she had asked me to bring to identify who I am) and still they turned me away. Racist.

Terrible customer service, called 3 times and no one answered. Donated today and received no payment.

This location is ran by an amazing staff. I have only donated three times but every single time everything has gone great.

THIS PLACE HIRES NOTHING BUT CRYBABIES YOU CAN'T TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO INSERT THE NEEDLE BECAUSE THEY LITTERLY DEFERRED YOU

Corporate needs to investigate who manages this location. The whole staff made the experience unbearable. Management is trash.

Awesome place ! Great co workers ' The see security guard and the gentle men in the front luis are very respectful, and have great attitudes !

???????? ?????? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???????? ?????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????????? ????????

From the moment you enter til the moment you leave, CSL Plasma runs like a well-oiled machine. Very professional atmosphere.

Slowest place ever. Honestly wouldnt waste my time here at all. Go to mcallen or Brownsville. I honestly dont think they know what they're doing.

If I could I would rate this godforsaken place as a negative 5stars.Staff is useless.male nurse is an incompetent, rude, smug and equally useless.Dont waste your time on this center.Go ANYWHERE BUT THERE!

Poor staff attention and bad attitude with screeners...

My bf wasted two hours of his time here. Apparently the machine wasn't even on. Last time being here at this location.

the staff is wonderful. i wouldnt go anywhere else. 5 stars in my book.

The staff is nice and helpful.

CSL Plasma is a great place.
