First of all' the very first time I was there. The staff was doing nothing but talking, and laughing about whatever. I thought I would never finally get done with being a new donor, because of it. Not to mention that even though I have been going there, there are still those who check you in, standing around talking to each other, when you and' others are standing in line waiting. And' there are only two who I feel can stick you without it hurting, and yet' you can't recommend that they stick you. And' toda

I been donating plasma for a few months now. Usually takes 30 minutes, today?? Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes. During the process I asked a couple times if something was wrong, but they said it was okay. After I keep watching people who came after me leaving before me that's when I knew something was wrong. After 52 minutes they took everything of and they took my other arm to start all over again. 30 minutes more and nothing. All the employes would walk in front of me, with the machine beaping and nobody wo

The staff are incompetent, there is no reason why 4 people should be unhooking people and only one is hooking us up. There were so many empty beds set up but we still were standing in line for almost an hour. It seems individuals just want to stand and talk to their friends. Get better staff!!!!

All my experiences are great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. To point out a few... Diamond is top-notch with her attitude and professionalism. As well as Melissa, a very hard worker. For the reception, Ashanti and Beyonce are as cool as you can get.

Don't go here, they only have two people that can stick properly, the management is ignorant, the bathrooms are disgusting, like they look like they haven't been cleaned since the new year. They say they won't defer you if you allow them to restick, but they definitely will defer the moment you allow them to restick you becuase their own people can't stick properly. I used to go here a lot, it's just gone further and further downhill. Not to mention they changed their prices so you don't even get as much as

I was Unfairly Deferred from Donating Plasma for the Simple Reason that I had to visit ER once for Suicidal Ideation. Before that I had Been a Loyal Donor. The Doctor is Only There Once a Week if even That. They Also Do Not Pay You Enough for your Precious Bodily Fluids. Not Hardly Worth the Time.

Very unprofessional, they gossip about your appearance & the ?medical? staff is very unprofessional. There was a line out the door & they were just fiddling their thumbs in the office. Why take a job you don't want to do? & the female security officer is unbelievably immature; she walks around flirting with all the guys. Very odd staff here. Go to any other plasma office.

This place sucks. I waited for 3 hours, then I was sent away because I donated blood a month ago. Wjy wasn't this a question asked at the beginning if the process???They were staffed to the max, Staff everywhere, curse words flying out of their mouths, yet I waited 3 hours to be turned away. How unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. I walked in and was sent to the new patient area, only two people in front of me. I thought it would be quick...wrong. I waited for almost three hours. Finallly get back to

So I donated and had to get stuck twice today. I was setting at the front when security guard Johnson kicked me out!! I was waiting on my mother to get done donating. I have never had any trouble out of this place till today. They was noone setting at the front cause they wasnt accepting new patients cause there system was down. I was even told by the lady up front I could set there. So today will be my last day coming cause of security guard Johnson. Thanks guys. Y'all have lost a loyal donor cause of a se

I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this irritated me to the point I felt like I should leave one. I went last weekend and didn't have the correct paperwork to donate. That's fine, my mistake. I was told what I needed and could use so I planned to come back. Well I went and got the documents that I was told I needed and went back today and again was told the documents that I had could not be used even though that's what I was just told last weekend that I needed. So that's a 45 min round trip and gas that

New donor here, they are friendly, and the process is quick once you're signed up

Sit there get ignored told them i had to be at work told me 2 hr just terrible customer service for new donors Don't go here bad communication and they staff treat you like trash

I've been staring at these empty seat and yall talking for 20 minutes let's get to work. The whole bay 1 empty 6+ empty seats in bay 3. Let's get to work. Incase your wondering what time it's 1:28 p.m. now. So 20 minutes would be 1:08 p..m. check the cameras and fix your workers attitude towards their job

I've been going here for a few months and they have a few talented phlebotomists who do good work and pay attention. They also have a bunch of people who desperately need more training. Currently there is no feedback system so phlebotomists that injure people or interrupt donation schedules never find out.

Place is overall smooth, Jalen in specific was there for my questions and to help with the adjustment i needed. The manager is professional and is attentive to what's going on around the whole floor. Great place, minus 1 star cause they just need more employees. Other than that it is what you can expect

I have been donating semi regularly for 7 months now. I would say I've had over all good experiences. I've gotten to know some of the staff, and they are all very nice and make good conversation and do well at making you comfortable. The only issue I've ever had with them was them attempting to defer my wife because of something that they did. And that was an issue but once we spoke to the right people, it all got figured out. I have very mixed feelings about the new machines that extract the plasma. There

Our zip code 28683 is not open n the system there for we have been turned away for weeks now! Winston and charlotte both have had to tell us we can't donate because our zip code want pull up! No one seams to know how to fix it

I came in at 3pm and was going to register as a new donor. The lady at the counter said, "It's a long process for new donors, you should come back another time since the cut off is 5pm." Even though they close at 7pm. I expressed that I would rather do the sign up process and donate another day, since I was already there but she didn't seem interested. I don't recommend this location as that it is extremely unprofessional and rude to dismiss someone's time.

The place is always clean and the staff are very efficient. I've been donating at CSL for 2 years and enjoy the whole experience. Bryana, Jalen and Liz are personable along with professional answering any questions along with ensuring I'm comfortable. Will continue to donate @ CSL Winston Salem.

So far not a good impression. The new donor experience was not 90 mins but that wasn't the problem. The lady that did what you would call the intake process seemed to not know anything. She told me my zip code was not covered even though it was and that I needed my ID and SOS card ok cool but I had and told her the address wasn't updated on my ID that I had the proof of address mail with me and she seemed irritated. Told me she still needed my ID then exactly after I hand it to her she asks if the address

Angie, Michelle and Kelly ( The security officer)are Great,...David always has the nicest smile and Kelly keeps the lines moving and all security issues on tee... Thank You Angie, Michelle,David ,Kelly for the best out there!!! Don't forget about Diamond, she is nothing short of exceptional!!!

Ain't had no problems here very friendly staff clean too

I came in as a lapse donor. While I was waiting, two more people came in behind me. I hald already finished the standard procedure videos, etc. Guess who got seen by staff first (Spoiler Alert: Not me). Waited nearly 3 hours and had to walk out because I had plans for the rest of the day. Must have been nice to be those other two. Their time was obviously more valuable than mine. I'm seriously considering donating somewhere else.

Staff is not at very attentive they don't seem to want to take you seriously when you tell them that you don't think the needle is in right I've had my arm turned purple I've had it painful on return repeatedly luckily nothing lately looking for a different plasma donation place that's close enough to me. I went in one day while I was being screened and the lady was checking my hematocrit and she broke the stem while she was doing it and instead of doing it again and owning the mistake she said that mathema

Hello, I would like to know if there is any problem if I don't speak English and plan a visit to donate blood?

Turn me away just because I didn't have a - on my id and my social security card has the

CSL is full of Unprofessional and untrained employees, I don't know how this place stays in business some of the staff don't even know how to take vitals properly during the screening machines aren't properly calibrated an please don't get me started on the lack of training and professionalism when it comes to customer service on behalf of it's management Javi, David and Mike who will lie about procedures and protocols in which they make up themselves and are not documented jeopardizing the health not only

Hayden Davis Shines Brightly!I recently had the pleasure of visiting the CSL blood plasma donation center, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. And what truly made my visit unforgettable was the outstanding service provided by Hayden Davis. Allow me to share just how remarkable my time at CSL was, thanks to Hayden's professionalism, compassion, and dedication. From the moment I walked through the doors, Hayden greeted me with a warm smile and genuine kindness. Her welcoming

I've been donating here for a year and I've always had great experiences. Always friendly staff, always decent wait times. Idk what's been happening with this place the last couple of months but the wait times are insanely, ridiculously high. It can take anywhere from an hour to three. The staff are still super great and stuff, but PLEASE do something about the wait.

This place is always understaffed which causes long wait times. The staff is very unprofessional. The staff do more complaining then working. They curse and talk about people and their personal business. Management does not come out to assist the staff. The last time I was there, there where people in line actually getting high from vaping. Security did nothing. I waited in line for over 3 hrs. I've been to other plasma donation sites in the area CSL is the worst.

This place really aggravates me at times. They already discriminate against weight, you only get so much money for how much you weigh, some people can't gain weight no matter how much they eat. So I don't think that's fair. Had an employee tell me the wrong day to come in, so I walked an hour in the hot heat just for them to tell me I couldn't donate when I get here. They will not compensate for ANYTHING. Even if it's something that's their fault. The plasma center in high point Atleast gives you $60 everyt

No sense of urgency. Employees can be very disrespectful. Bathroom always smell like piss. They will just run you off before they do anything to help or understand. They treat you like herding cattle

If I could give zero stars I would. This plasma place is slow and the workers are rude. I have been to the CSL plasma place located in Raleigh and it is more friendly and efficient. Workers who connect you to the machine do not know how to find veins. I have had two problems here when I haven't had a problem before.

After waiting in line for almost two hours before being called to the donor floor I was then left waiting to be hooked up for 50 minutes. The tech told me to wait while they assisted with taking down another donor but then actually left the donor floor and I was just left there waiting. This used to be a nice experience but it has become horrible. At one point today the donor floor was left completely unattended, I was waiting to be hooked up and five people that I was aware of had been waiting over 30 minu

A lot of these negative reviews are from folks that didn't do their own due diligence. There's a lot of info on the app and site about eligibility for donation. I always have excellent service when I come regardless of what time of day it is. There is often a wait time and it is especially long in the afternoon, so I try to go early. The staff do their best to alleviate it but it isn't their fault they're short staffed. The facility is always clean and beds are wiped down every time between patients.

Even though they were crazy busy they still got me in as a returning new donor in a timely fashion. The staff was professional and I'm very satisfied. The nurse Amanda was the best I've had for an intake in over fifteen years of donating. I'll definitely be back.

This dam place is ridiculous! If you are considering donating plasma, DO NOT go here!!! They DON'T respect you as a donor nor do they care about your time waiting. They are always very long lines and an empty donor floor. The workers mopp around like their miserable and look at you like they hate seeing you come in. Something needs to be done about this place! I'M TELLING YOU, DON'T GO HERE IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME DONOR! YOU WILL REGRET IT. Go to the one off Broad Street.

Extremely unprofessional. Staff had no clue how to interact with a trans person and discriminated against my friend all because he identified as a trans man. Please update your training to include proper care and service for trans clients without misgendering and humiliating them.

Today, I arrived to find the facility closed. When googled it showed open with real time as less than normal busy. I called and the number was busy. It would have been helpful if closed status was updated by showing on line and by phone recording.. When the public interacts with medical facilities we expect professionalism in every way including informing when closed.

Assistant manager on duty left me waiting as a new donor after being told I had to see medical when I arrived. I waited an hour until I finally asked if someone would see me just to be told it would be another hour because I was suppose to have been doing other enrollment stuff as new donor. She went through a huge excuse mentioning FDA and I told her clearly you guys aren't abiding regulations if you can't even communicate with donors as to where they need to be or doing and have people randomly just waiti

Clean facility which is a plus. Some of the staff you can hear cussing & talking about others, to me it's unprofessional. Staff over all have been nice. There are a couple girls there who come up to you and don't say hi or anything. I was in patient care for a long time at Baptist Hospital and my patients were very important. I do plasma bc I have family who is sick and bake me feel better I am helping others. All I think os they could be more welcoming to donors not all are here just for money. Also when t

It takes longer and longer everytime. Employees on the floor complaining about being there, cussing, and goofing off. Not professional at all. They always seem like they are understaffed. Machines are not calibrated at all at vitals. There is no way I lost 8 pounds in 2 days and my protein went from 7.4 to non existent. And if you try to point that out to anyone in vitals, they get mad at you and personally defer you themselves because they got butt hurt.

I've never had to go through such a headache to be able to donate plasma. When I went for my initial visit as a new donor, they were pretty busy so I was more than happy to wait knowing that I would have to do the new donor physical and other necessary paperwork. However, upon having already received my compensation card and ready to get my vitals checked, I was told that since I was on 3 or more prescriptions for the same diagnosis that I would not be allowed to donate. I was confused, as none of my pre

Really not a bad experience at all. Lots of things going on at once but for a first time donor I was fine with all of the steps. Had a couple of very nice people to work with. Thanks to Jacques who did my vitals. Shout out to Lee who did my medical screening. Looking forward to my next visit.

Let be realistic, this is a business. You get money in exchange for plasma. It is run like a business, not like a doctors office. With your expectations reigned in... CSL is pretty decent all in all. Finding the best times to go takes time and practice and schedule availability, and unfortunately I'm not gonna spill the beans haha. Your minimum time is 3 hours, if you expect it then you won't be upset. If it's your first time, it could be as long as 8 hours depending on how busy they are. Also if you come

I love this place! Yes, sometimes they can be short-staffed but that's a management issue and has nothing to do with the hard working employees. Today I came in and my usual vein didn't work so Miss Leila came over and she was able to get the vein in my left arm perfectly the FIRST time. Nobody has ever been able to get anything from my left arm. She is amazing at what she does, as are the other Phlebotomists as well. I always have plenty of laughs with the staff & those who are also donating. Wait times ca

This Is One Place I Would Not Recommend They Don't Have Healthcare Workers Today The Girl Working There stuck The Needle Thoughy Arm I Have 2 Wholes In My Arm She Clearly Did Not Know What To Do And They Have The Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Seen And They Don't Pay Anything For The Time You Have To Be There. This Place Should Be Closed Down.

Terrible at knowing how to communicate with a trans man as well as misgendering. And it's absolutely not necessary to talk about someome in front of them like they're not there. It's rude and dehumanizing. They should not have to be your staff's "learning moment", they should know how to handle this appropriately already! Very disappointed.

Made me drive 70 miles just to tell me that my zip code isn't in the system, when they told me on the phone it doesn't matter if it is or not, and they were completely aware of how far I was going to be driving before I came.

I want to say how thankful I am for these awesome people for taking care of me today. It was my first time so of course I waited a long but that's what I expected and when I went to donate it didn't go as planned my blood wasn't flowing the way it was supposed to and the sweet lady who took care of tried to switch arms to see if that would help and needless to say I passed out and she was right there with me the whole time

I've only donated twice and the actual phlebotomists that start the process are usually pretty nice. But the intake to get your vitals and the wait time to actually donate is horrible. You have to get there at 6am just to get a spot in line so you can get a chair to donate. If not, do not be surprised if you have to wait upwards of 3 hours to donate

They need to update their website. It says 2-2 1/2 hours for a new donor. I waited 45 minutes to even be ?checked in? then I waited for another hour to be screened. They said it actually would take 4 hours. I had to leave to pick up my son at 12. I got there at 9 which should have been plenty of time but, they were more interested in playing on their cellphones than helping anyone. Disappointed would be an understatement.

terrible place. no knowledge of how to properly talk to trans patients. will discriminate against them, quite openly, even calling other coworkers over. will also talk badly about a coworker behind their back as soon as they leave the room but be all smiles when they return, all with patients being in the room, hearing everything. you should be ashamed.

Jalen is ALWAYS professional, positive attitude, great work ethics. He let's you know that he is there for you if you should need He thanks me every time I donate.

I came in and was nervous in the beginning, being I had never done this. The staff was very friendly and very patient. Only reason I gave 4 stars was that the first visit is so long. However I do understand the reasons.behind it though. They need to be thorough. I felt very comfortable with the staff. I will be returning.

Jasmine is very good at her job give her a raise pain free stick everytime.

They do not change gloves after taking blood during vitals check. Asked if they changes gloves between patients she lied and said yes even though she had no gloves at her station gloves stored on the wall behind her, i know this because she got up to get 1 glove not 2 just 1. Blood exposure likely from staff uncleanness. Visit at your own risk.....

Terrible business and extremely unprofessional. Talked about a trans patient with them in the same room like they didn't exist and acted like they had no care in the world about said persons feelings. Misgendered and made an accusation of a medical issue based off their life. Wouldn't suggest this place/business to anyone who wouldn't want to be misdiagnosed based off of what they do in their private life.

They are really nice and efficient here. I've been to other plasma donation centers and I think this one is the best. You make a little less here but not by much and the aggravation at the other place that pays like 5 dollars more just isn't worth it. I've never waited very long here to get started and the other place I have waited for 2 and 3 hours to donate so... I'll take $5 less each time.

I think my photo says enough. I've never had problems donating when I lived in Texas. I relocated out here and wanted to continue to contribute and donate and they are not engaged, they are not focused, they are very careless and this is the result of that.

I have been donating plasma for a long time now. I have never had such a horrible experience as I have at this facility. The staff at the Patterson Ave Winston Salem location is rude and extremely discriminatory. They show favoritism to their "regular" donors and treat new donors very differently as if it's a bother to have new donors come in. I give 0 stars for customer service!

If they got people off those machines quicker, it really wouldn't be a bad experience. Its no reason we should be stuck on those machines 10+ minutes after your donation is complete. We're already sitting in discomfort with those needles in our arms(God forbid if u have to go to the bathroom since drinking water plays such a role in donating) and to see some of the techs just talking, joking around and dragging their feet oppose to getting people off those machines is crazy.

They're definitely unorganized. I called them and they told me that they would be accepting new donors until 8:00 pm. I arrived at 6 pm. I drove 25 miles just for them to tell me that they weren't accepting new donors due to the system being down. I had just talked to the staff on the phone 1 hour prior to arriving. Not to mention I had to call 8 times before I got anyone to even answer

This place is horrible. The line is currently 60+ people long with just two people running the entire floor. Wait times are literally three hours or more. You're much better off driving to the next closest plasma center. Infuriating is a good description of how CSL plasma operates.

Wonderful experience. I was extremely nervous going in, but Amanda made me feel at ease, and answered all my questions. 10/10, definitely recommend. I know I'll be back.

Definitely have several hours available for your first visit. Everyone was super nice and helpful, the employees all seem to like each other and have fun together. It was very clean and professional looking inside. I had a great experience!

Today we were kept waiting outside in 18 degree cold for 2 hours because employees did not show up for work. There is a sign inside that says "We strive to give you a positive experience" - they fell way short today!

Was turned away bc I didn't have a bill with my address, however, this was listed nowhere on the app and I had my DL and SSN. Very odd to me. You're saying every person who goes in to give plasma has a permanent address? The area this donation center is located in a rough part of town as well Just something to be aware especially if you're a woman.

So if you get there at a decent time, lines are nothing, you just have to hope you get a good tech who knows what they are doing, the words "oh no" shouldn't come out of someone's mouth as they are sticking a 20gage needle in your arm. I personally think she wasn't expecting rolling veins so it threw her off her game. Most of the people here are great, some need more confidence so they can do their jobs with more confidence. Other then that, they are great when your in a bind and need a Lil money to get ya

First visit, have plenty of time, after that smooth sailing. The only 1* rate I can give is wait @ popular/ busy times & some of the nurses make you come off the table when they stick ya! Overall, good experience.

Absolutely disrespectful to anyone who comes in. The staff literally does not care if it takes 3 hrs for you to donate. Staff often conversating, laughing and having a good time. I'm in line now there is 23 people in line but only one person screening donors. Its ridiculous

Teresa is very friendly and she's confident in what she does. She's always been pleasant and accurate

Not Enough Staff, When It Comes To Vitals Check Point.

Nice to have a little extra $$ in between pay days. Staff is all cool. My girl Laura's been doing it a year. She finally convinced me to start doing it a couple months ago. Even though I hate needles. A lot of the staff is easy on the eyes too...lol. My girl calls Qthe panty dropper, and I like looking at this little cute woman Tina. But on a serious note...they seem to vibe well and besides the location I enjoy doing it and the extra rent $$!

Spent all day waiting in line. Informed staff that I do have epilepsy. Was told it was fine that I donated. Once I got to the actual blood draw for plasma separation and was deferred for life. 7 hours of my day wasted. No compensation. Do not bother with CSL plasma, go somewhere else.

I've been to a few plasma places, and this one is by far the best!!! I've been there 3 times in the last month and never had to wait more than 30 maybe 40 min to get hooked up, they have a very organized and efficient check in process and the staff do their jobs in a very organized and professional mannar. And they are very well trained. (Not like some of the places I've been to where they are talking to each other and procrastinating making your visit 2 3 sometimea 4 hours! like the telecris in fayettevi

The worst place ever. Joshua Swaim was just walking around not doing his job. They should ask first hand if you take medications, I waited around for two hours got my screening and vitals done then they tell me I can't donate due to the medication I'm on. Not happy with my experience. They also were more worried about the phone calls more than doing their jobs with the donators.

Every time I come here they manage to screw something up. I stood in line did everything they told me to do and then got sent back to medical to find out that somehow it had canceled my check in so I would have to start over and get my vitals again and wait in line all over. I came with my husband so by the time I would get back in line he would have been done and waiting for me. It's just ridiculous.

During my visit of 4 hours at this establisment, i was standing in line because I was next and AMANDA COOPER was walking out the door and knocked my knee hard with the door. She did not apologize for this happening even after she was notified that she hit me. She then said "she shouldn't of been in the way" . She is the rudest person I have met here. And TRULY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Good set, up-far more efficient than competitor. However, did receive a coupon on Aug w/expiration of Aug 31st. Apparently I'm inelligible to use the coupon 'til Sep 1st. The corporate trick got me in the door though
