Payment discrepancies and misleading promotions frustrate donors. Positive experiences highlight efficiency and cleanliness, while negative ones mention inconsistent policies, poor communication, and hygiene concerns. Staff attitudes vary drastically—some are exceptionally kind, others dismissive or impatient. Wait times and disorganization are common pain points.

I have a positive impression of this establishment, but there are a few drawbacks. When staff members are nearing the end of their shift and you enter, let's say, 10 minutes before closing, requiring a recheck, you're not allocated the full 15 minutes to sit and relax, thereby reducing your blood pressure. I consider this unfair and believe you should be entitled to the entire 15 minutes. Instead, employees often remark, 'I'm finishing my shift at such-and-such time, so come back up,' which may limit your r

Staff incredible. They become family. Jess and Dan make you feel so welcome and Mike is THE BEST at getting my small veins. So thankful for them to make the I process easy and a fun time.

I will NEVER donate here again. I had a year of health issues which had caused my pulse rate to be too high for a year. I had to start over as a new donor, and two employees couldn't help themselves with making fun with my difficulties with my pulse rate calling everyone and anyone to show them and continue to make fun. That is disrespectful.

The worst of the worst, had 2 workers that were pretty good but their nurse that does the physical knows nothing, I asked medical question after question and just dumb founded!! There was dry blood on the one room floor, when asked, it wasnt blood had to be something else!! Really!!!!!!! Also one of the backrooms smelled like something died smh. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been waiting over an hour with nobody else here, except for several staff who had an attitude problem, I understand it's Youngstown with the worst of the worst but I don't look or act like their regular clientele. I just came from work and don't have time to sit in a room and wait for no reason, I'll go elsewhere or just figure something else out.

Tell that unethical guy, ETHAN! That is was never that serious to defer me from there establishment because I have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! It's in my nots, thanks causenow you mad it go ever high. He told me I had the blood pressure of a 86 Y/O. 10/10 don't recommend him, they need to do better with their choice of staffs. They say they take pride with their customers but I beg to differ. I'm not mad, IM HURT! I have family that needs plasma so that's why I donate.

since when did csl have a dress code ?? i?ve worn a crop top, tank tops and pajamas COUNTLESS times and no one batted an eye- all of a sudden today i was told no pajama pants or i?ll be asked to leave next time like im confused? i?ve seen many others wearing the same so instead of worrying about literal pajamas pls worry abt the female staff flirting with all the men who come in here .

I love the staff and the experience. However, I was just denied, because I was told to wait around for fifteen minutes, and I stepped outside for five of those minutes. I was never told that this wasn't allowed, and it's not in any of the paperwork or disclaimers we sign. So I'm extremely upset, because I was relying on this money, and now I'm screwed because companies don't know how to make their policies known. This was my first time ever doing it. No exception. No warning. Nothing. As of my blood pressur

Very unprofessional. I got there on Saturday morning at 10:30 am. I finally walked out 11:50am. I was told to go in a room and wait for a dr. Guy named I think Jack told me to go back to waiting room. Not sure why I was told to go to the room and then-asked to leave. I am a first time donor I have no idea what the process is. As I was walking out I think guys name was Jack says are you leaving. I said yes process is way too long. He did not care I was already there 1 1/2 hours. They could have a

Tried to donate today had problems and instead of someone helping me I just had 4 people yelling to me from their seats telling me that the other person was wrong and they were right and do it this way ended up just walking out DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!

Lacy is the best she's great at her work ethics and has great communication skills.

Hello, I was a regular donor at CSL plasma Youngstown location. The center was clean and the staff was awesome, with the exception of those who held higher rank (nurses) to be specific. I have tried relentlessly to contact the centers manager to discuss my concerns and I have been dismissed continuously. I'm not sure if they are aware that donating plasma does not just help the person receiving the plasma but it helps the person giving the plasma. I am extremely disappointed by the level of professionalism

Went there to donate for the first time. They took forever! I watched the video, answered all the questions, had my vitals taken and blood tested. Everything was ok. The nurse was old and unprofessional and slow as hell. I waited another hour for her to finish with one person before me. After hours of intake the old nurse said I was not qualified because I said that when I was very young my hands would fall asleep as I slept because of the way I slept on my arms. I told her that hasn't happened in 20 years.

Everyone is friendly and the place has a fun atmosphere

seems under staffed, employees are constantly complaining like they don't want to work. Very unprofessional. Each phlebotomist is friendly and efficient, the only thing they have going good really. Everyone else though.. slow slow slow Edit: well here we are a few Weeks later I tried to give Them another chance but lately they have all become rude impatient, and extremely unprofessional. The manager is probably the worst, not sure if it is "lacey" or something else. I'm sure that's where the problems stem f

When I needed to see the nurse for a recheck or whatever I had nurse Diane. She was fantastic, I love her! Also Laura was very friendly. I love it when she is available for me. Also there is one African American female with blond tips that is so nasty to every single time I get her for my blood check. She is mean and talks down to me.

I'm a regular here & love everyone that works there. Except Joselyn (I believe her name is) her non stop attitude is getting very old to the point I want to go to a different place! I have a great time with everyone else & enjoy donating there! Everytime Joselyn gets us it's a attitude. She is slamming stuff around, have blown veins multiple times after having a attitude & someone calling something was gonna happen because she was in a pissy mood again and sure enough! The other day I had a issue and I aske

The staff are always friendly and professional. The center is nice and clean and I'm usually in and out. I always have a pleasant experience when I'm there and enjoy speaking with Dan the phlebotomist. I highly recommend the Youngstown CSL Plasma for anyone interested in donating.

I really thought the first time I went I would never go back. Fear of needles, white coat syndrome but after going and meeting the staff it's a really great experience. I get checked quite a bit when I first come in by Chris, who is amazing, puts me at ease, makes me smile, along with numerous others. My dads girlfriend recently thanked me she has COPD and one of her treatments are plasma based. I feel good after I've given and a little extra money in my pocket. Thank you CSL for always making me feel tha

Horrible experience at this place. I was standing in line, the technician was complaining and asking where everyone went because she was doing all the work. Then I get her. The lady nip picked everything from the time I met her. ?I wasn't standing in the correct spot at the door? then I get the the chair to donate. She said she had to go get a second opinion, went to go get the second opinion and they refused to even look at my arms because they said I didn't drink OVER a gallon of water. I can assure you t

Laura, Lucy, and MJ up front are the best!! I have horrible white coat syndrome and they always get me laughing or get me talking so I feel comfortable. They're always looking out for me and I appreciate them for that because they could treat me like just a random customer.

The place is absolutely ridiculous. Staff is rude unprofessional. Wait time has always been way to long you stand for over 2 hours before even getting to the donor floor while multiple new donors cut to the front of the line and are out within an hour. They will ask every question and find any reason to defer you. Because they are simply lazy and don't want to do there jobs. Oh and doors lock well before scheduled close time. Csl corporate office isnt even happy with this place and let it be known smh.

Normally I get in and out at a decent time. However, today's visit was disappointing. I was first in line and didn't get my needle stick till 7:30am. Not sure what the hold up was, but the employees were still setting up the machines. Really put a damper on getting my workday started.

Love csl plasma my favorite is MJ she always I'm good spirit, beautiful smile, and positive attitude

The staff here are very friendly and respectful of everyone and treat everyone with care. MJ helped me today at the front and was so nice it helps me to relax when they are nice and considerate

This place moves so slow! Returning donors will have to wait in line for 40 minutes just for a vital check even if you do the questionnaire at home. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or if they just don't care! You do all of that waiting and getting poked for the smallest amount of money! I've been to other centers and they move way faster! This place moves so slow! Don't come here if you are in a hurry!

Laura upfront was by herself today on this holiday weekend but she still was positive and did everything to push everyone through. 5 stars is for Laura.

Reception Tech MJ is very kind and knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor She's quick and efficient as well I'll always come back here

Chronically understaffed. New donors get in and out quicker than returning donors by skipping the line. Don't go unless you have 2-3 hours to burn. 45 minutes at least before you're even in line to go to donor floor. Craziest thing is just 1 more person doing med checks cuts this time in half but they refuse to do it.

only reason I gave it a 1 star is because I can't give it a 0 star absolutely terrible staff besides one black lady who is an absolute sweet heart everyone is rude and insufferable

The front folks pre testing are very friendly and polite for as busy as they are. The folks who are actually preparing you for donations are knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have before preparing your arm for donating.

Clean, most of the staff is very polite. I don't understand why a poster is up for $700 when your location doesn't offer that. You should take that down then. It's very misleading.

Great place. Laura up front is my absolute favorite there. She always makes me feel comfortable and calm. She is super friendly.

I'm a new donor here at the Youngstown facility, I work in corporate at the CSL location in boca raton. I know Youngstown is a new center but they're very unprofessional. The Cm seanna comes off very rude and ignorant. When trying to inform her on the direction my vein goes she replied with a snobby attitude that she doesn't need me to tell her anything. I do want to add she did not change gloves from the person before me and there was specs of blood on her white lab coat. I've also heard from many of her e

Went in on Saturday April 20 2024 because my place is closed blood work good blood pressure good was not able to give because my ankles were a little swollen I should of been able to give you tell all the people that go in there are completely fine I should of been able to donate

Out of all the plasma places in the Youngstown area, I would recommend CSL Plasma. The people who work checking people in, Laura, MJ, Tiara, Lucy and Rich are so professional and nice. The people in the back, Mike, Dan, Ciara, Vee, Jocelyn and Ethan are all great too. I know i missed a lot or don't know their names, but these people are why I come to CSL. Thank you CSL. Redemption??

So I started donating on the 24th of March. There was a sign outside that said make 1100 for the first month. After going through the process I'm told that the amount to earn the first month is only 900 even though the sign said otherwise. . Now I'm told the amount went back up to 1100? However I'm still getting paid the lower amount of the two. . Pretty unprofessional too me. Would not recommend.

Too many donors, not enough staff. I work midnights, so I come straight after work and the line for pre screening sometimes is out the door and to the side of the building. There have been a few times where the line for the donor floor was clear out to the front door! Its a whole day wasted for those of us who drive a distance trying to help the cause, so unfortunately I had to stop coming. Your staff are sinking and need help.

I love the staff we always have fun when we go there. They take really good care of us when we there

Super efficient as it was my first time going. I was delighted to get a snack bag and small drink! I needed it so bad at the time. Staff is kind and I enjoyed it better than biomat.

Went here for 2 and a half years at 5 years recovery once they found out I was in recovery I could no longer donate the place is a joke the staff is rude all around 0 out of 10

Had me wait 2 hours just to be told they couldn't donate because it was too difficult to find my veins. Waste of time. They'll find any reason to have you waste your time. Do not recommend

Laura was great as always during the initial screening, she always treats me with respect and with a smile

It's a great place quick fast service employees are respectful also

Takes way too long then they're rude too Plus there is this new young girl with glasses thats training with Dan and she's toooo much literally eye rolling smart mouth just too much

Ms marylin campbell was great with the service and well respected and have kind manners and always helpful I will always come and recommend her service and a excellent employee I have no problems out of her

For some reason the wouldn't accept my family member I referred and the only explanation was ?We're not taking new donors? Then turned me down saying I ?smelled like weed? even though I have a med card. Very disrespectful

First timer and I really loved the staff! Super nice and efficient.

The staffing is awesome and very professional and polite when I was there today I got Lucy she was very professional and welcoming.

Stay away from a phlebotomist named Tracy she blew out my vein and I gave her another chance and she blew it out again! A guy walking out had ice pack on his vein and he said Tracy?s handiwork!? After waiting 2 hours in line this is how my day went!

They lure you in with the IDEA of making $500-$700 within the first month. Then after your 2nd donation, tell you it's subject to change. Those tactics are tacky and unprofessional!

Quick in and out service usually, nice and clean, very polite staff especially Mj and Ashley they are my favorites.

I love the staff. Very courteous, professional and easy going.

Sitting here waiting 6 minutes to get unhooked, when There's other ppl back on the donor floor

They don't pay referral bonuses. Said it comes from a different company after 5 donations. BioLife is a way better place.

Always happy to see Lucy when she screens me. Pleasant, and gets me moving quickly with a smile!

Don't Go here stuff is unprofessional and lazy all they do is stand around and talk to each other and it's very slow Im going back to octapharma it's better and they treat you with respect the only reason I was going to csl was because it was close to my job guess I'll be taking a ride to the other side of town

This facility is the best facility I ever been to. The whole staff is amazing!

Very fast and friendly, transfered from the Warren facility to here and been happier. Went from 3-4 hrs donating down to under 2 hrs each time now

I've been coming to CSL plasma for a month 5 different times I was turned away the latest one is because I got a bruise from donating the person doing the needle stick had a hard time with my vain so because they bruised me I was told I cannot donate mind you I drive over 30 minutes to come to CSL plasma this will be my last time coming here I will find another place to come to I have a full time job that pays me good money so I don't come here for the money but for me to spend money to be turned away is ri

This place is a joke. Don't go! Machines malfunction too often. You are more likely to get deffered. Machines aren't kept up with like they're supposed to.

They say they're open until 7, you can call and confirm that with them, and then you get there and the doors are locked. Waste of time.

Very friendly staff, the floor lead Micheal is AMAZING!

Lucy provides excellent service at all times!

I went in yesterday I was aloud to donate , but the long was to long to wait so I go back in today and I can't donate because of a little bruise y'all don't make sense

I came here to donate and everyone was really rude and after doing all the questions and medical process I finally got to go to the back and the phlemotomist named Tracy was so rude and just very unprofessional and just not friendly at all!!

I love coming here my experience here been great

There very kind and make sure your comfortable

Staff is awesome love this location and go twice a week Nichole Gettings

Chris and MJ always been great will all donors ?? ??

Great place. They are friendly as can be.

Lucy is amazing at her job and is very helpful and very friendly

I think they just wanna fight people at this point. And don't realize they'd get rocked

Honestly a lot of the people here are rude

Great staff, friendly and helpful.

Honestly really disappointing place.
