Been coming to CSL Plasma for donations for a bit now and the staff is great. I would like to point Adrianna is amazing! Always smiling and with a positive attitude :) never misses those veins, highly recommend!
I couldn't even give them 1 star. The staff is terrible. 20 people in line for 1 screener. Took me 3 hours to donate. They don't give shit about donors!! I had 6 people drop out of line to be screened after waiting 45 minutes before anyone was seen . This place is a joke. Donating is beneficial to everyone. Please pick another place to do it
Adriana was very courteous and very professional. Always takes care of the patients needs. Blanca was very quick to disconnect and proceed in helping the next patient. Very good staff.
I come on Mondays and Fridays of every week and on Fridays I make sure I call before I come because they have a tendency to close early and half the time nobody answers the phone so when I get there that's when they tell me that they're closing early and that they can't take me and I come all the way from the Foothills and waste my gas for nothing I guess you guys don't need my plasma anymore. At least have the decency to answer the phone to let people know so they don't come for nothing.
I tried donating my plasma for the first time today. Within 5 minutes of donating I started feeling light headed and nauseous. The staff was so accommodating to me. They were urgent to help me and accommodated my needs to help me feel better. Although my donating experience was awful, the staff helped so much.
I've never donated plasma before until just a few months ago here at CSL. My experience here has been phenomenal! The staff is very polite and knowledgeable about the process and just overall what they do. I do appreciate when I get to have conversations or small talk with the staff. Again, super nice people!! Anel and Alejandro make the visit even more comfortable with their down to earth personalities. If you didn't know, donating plasma helps save other people's lives and brings some health benefit to th
This place has gone severely downhill in the last three months. Not only are they paying people less money, but they also decided that they want to be closed on sundays now. I tried to donate yesterday and they told me the computer system was down. So I tried to donate today and they told me they were closing early, not even halfway through the day, because the one person they apparently have on medical staff has to go home early. They make it impossible to stay on a consistent schedule with your donations,
Ten empty chairs and 5 people standing in line is wild. I suppose I'll wait for the 2 phlebotomists on the donor floor to finish their conversation. We don't get paid NEARLY ENOUGH to put up with this. Heck, now you guys started paying us even LESS. I would say do better but we know you won't.
In the front screening Nancy and Marcianelle are always helpful and friendly making the process go fast. In the back donating room Venedita and Adrianna are the best never had any issues never had pain, bruising, or flow issue in my arms when they stick you. They are always smiling and in a good mood that they have a welcoming feeling that makes you feel calm and happy they are the best and CSL is blessed to have employees like these makes me go donate and feel safe.
The Yuma location is the most welcoming environment. Someone always greets you when you enter and always told to have a good day after you're finished donating. Venedita often does my stick, and I have complete trust that she'll get it, even though I have a huge fear when it comes to needles. She always lightens the mood with conversation and makes the whole experience great.
I always have a stellar time at CSL in Yuma. The staff is wildly professional and one stands head and shoulders (not literally, she's super short) above the rest in kindness and professionalism, Venedita. She is spectacular and makes me feel at ease. I appreciate her so much.
Adrianna L. Is by far the best representative CSL has to offer! She is highly knowledgeable in her duties, always assisting other technicians in proper technique and setup. Adrianna always has a smile regardless of how stressed she may get. It's always a pleasure being helped by Adrianna, she deserves 10 stars and a raise!
Eva is one of the best phlebotomist at CSL YUMA! I've never feel her sticks or ever get a bruise! A few months back I had the privilege of seeing her and only her taking care of the early morning crowd all by herself and she did it properly and professionally. She never lost her cool or composure once!! Kudos Eva
I donated for the first time and it was a pleasant experience. Anel R. Helped me get all set up . . I was nervous, but felt so much better . She explained everything to me very well. I really appreciate her and everyone there . Thank you ??
Another great experience at the CSL in Yuma, I'm always happy to return to see all the welcoming staff. Venedita is a pleasure to talk to when getting hooked up or disconnected! She leaves a lasting memory after every donation which makes it much easier to return for my second donation.
CSL is a fantastic place to donate. Most of the staff is friendly and professional, but I would really like to praise Venedita. She is always so friendly and polite. She is efficient at her job and seems to really care. I appreciate her.
This CSL team always gives me a great experience every time I come everyone is nice and respectful. All the Phlebotomists are very kind and fast working people. Never have i gotten disrespected or mistreated in any way.
You open at 7AM. It's now 7:40 at the time of me writing this, and there are 10+ people waiting in line?. But your donor floor looks like this. I don't understand how a whole team of people that come in before opening aren't ready when it's time to open. I come in early so that I can leave early. I don't come in at 7AM only to not even reach the donor floor until almost 8AM. You guys seriously need to get it together.
I always have a great experience whenever I come in to donate plasma. Everyone is so polite and friendly, especially Alba. She always makes sure to have a smile on her face and make it feel like a familiar/comfortable experience. Will be back for sure!
I volunteered on a farm with animals and poke plants and they turn me down for a tiny blemish. I'm a clean physically fit vet who's not sick with anything. Guess I'll be going elsewhere.
I've had a pleasant experience at CSL! Aaron has been especially nice and considerate everytime I go! He always makes sure I'm well attended and pays great attention to detail.??
Despite the many changes, I continue to go to CSL in Yuma because of the friendly and professional environment. The staff there is always warm and friendly, and easy to talk to. Among those is Venedita, who is always warm and especially friendly. She has a soft touch whether she's doing the needle stick or bandaging you. She'll clearly answer any questions I have and is nice to talk to. Another standout is Vicole in the prescreen section. She's always fun and friendly to talk to, and is quick yet efficient
I tried donating here as a first time donor these past two days but got deferred twice due to the hematocrit test. The staff here at CSL was very nice and professional. The facility was really clean too. I decided to try Grifols since I didn't have any successful donations at CSL. One of my friends suggested trying Grifols if I wasn't having any luck at CSL. I did go over to Grifols and I was successful in passing my Hematocrit test. I'm not trying away anyone to go to either CSL or Grifols but just wan
CSL is the better place to give plasma. They are more professional and knowledgeable. Venedita particularly was very professional and helpful. Every time I come to do plasma she is always smiling and happy to assist. 10 out of 10 will be back again.
Venedita and the other staff do an outstanding job at poking and making sure all the patients get the attention and care they need. Feels good to always be greeted with a smile.
Thank you Venedita! Every time I come here you always have such a positive and great attitude! Not only are you knowledgeable in what you do you always bring a smile to my face. CSL plasma is lucky to have you on board. If anything you deserve a raise!!!!
The wait line at this establishment is crazy, and they tend to let the older nagging people move to the front of the line if they make a fuss about it. I've had two instances where I had to wait a long time in line, and they have let an older person cut in front of the line for either sweeting talking to one of the workers or complaining. Things like that are infuriating; having to wait an hour or two just to have someone cut in front of line adds a sour taste to your mouth. The only way I would recommend t
I had the best experience with Alba! She was so kind and friendly. She made it a point to greet me and was extremely efficient!
I was afraid to donate but Alba talked with me and she made me feel comfortable. She was so knowledgeable. She has awesome customer service skills.
This is my first year Donating, ive done over 40 donations so far thanks to 1 staff member,Venedita! She made every donation pleasent by macking sure im comfortable ,she is attention to detail with every donor throughout her shift. Picks up the slack when kneeded. Definitely a potential management team member.
I wish I hadn't let negative reviews deter me from coming here sooner; everyone is great! The staff is friendly and professional, and they don't hesitate to have a real conversation with you. The location is always clean and employees move quickly but they pay attention to details. Wait times are half what they are at the other company in town, and that's without appointments! At closing, the medical employees always jump in & screen donors at the front too. It's been an excellent experience here.
I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go to this place. Other donation centers can have you in and out in an hour, here it's 3-4 hours regardless of how busy they are or how much staff they have. Other centers pay around $30 more per donation. They talk about donors in spanish as if this isn't a border city where everyone speaks Spanish. They're racist, ablist, fat phobic and incredibly mean to donors like they don't need donors. I know of 2 people here that are very sweet, I wish I knew their names, I'd shoot
Wow? where do I start? first and foremost I have never had an issue with any workers. They are nice and friendly. The reason for the 1 Star review is that this place is horrible when it comes to wait times. I came right when they opened and they didn't have anyone in a chair donating till 45 minutes after they just opened. The reason I come at the time of opening is because I can get passed the rush. That is not the case. Their productivity is abysmal. I used to go to a BioLife Plasma place when I lived som
I have a fine experience with CSL as a whole. I sadly think today was my last donation because of my experience with a certain tech. Every time I get someone other than her the stick process is painless, quick, and easy. Every time I get her she never sticks me right and readjusts it multiple times and eventually has to have someone come over and do it for her. Every. Single. Time. Its SO incredibly painful during and the following hours after every time, but today especially. Idk what she was doing but I s
Aaron and Brenda made the visit so quick and painless, I didn't even realize I was done! Many thanks to the both of them for making the experience pleasant after a hard day at work!
I really enjoy donating at the CSL plasma Venedita gives the best customer service ever. She is a hard worker and deserves a promotion. Thank you guys for everything u do I really appreciate your service
I came here to donate plasma as a first time donor. The ?phlebotomist? that inserted the needle poke a vein that was clearly not going to work and she proceeded to dig it further and damaged a nerve. To make it even worse, I didn't even get plasma out of the damaged arm. I now have an inflamed vein and can't move my arm without having a sharp pain that goes from my hand to the insertion area. I wouldn't recommend going here at all.
I appreciate all the CSL staff. Aaron has especially been nice, and easily reads if you need some help, but I appreciate everyone at the center. Thank you for your hard work.
Place sucks mangement is petty giving me deferrals for no valid reasons ,one after another and the pay and waiting in line is unacceptable and I told the mangement these very reasons too there higher authority when a AUDIT WAS TAKEN PLACE AND EVER SINCE THEN MANGMENT GAVE ME PROBLEMS NEVER GOING BACK THERE A JOKE FOR A BUISSNESS WOULDNT WAISTE MY TIME HERE
I've only gone three times but each time they worked quickly and didn't push an app on me like similar facilities in our area do. The employees act very professional and don't joke around while they are servicing you. I feel like I'm being treated like a person. Thank to this facility I was able to buy the supplies I needed to teach for the upcoming school year and keep food on my table through the summer. Thank you staff!
Extremely understaffed. I've been here a few times and it's always the same - there's only 1 or 2 employees screening (even though there's 4 stations). There's several donating beds/stations available but for some reason they only use one half of the room so expect to wait longer than other plasma donating sites. To give you an idea. I got here at 4PM, it's now 6PM and I am still waiting in line to be called back to donate. There's still 6 people ahead of me. You may be thinking that I came at a busy time
CSL is my favorite place to donate plasma. Venedita always does her job well! Very friendly, positive, pays attention to patients, and does quick and painless pokes ??
Thalia , Melissa, and venedita was totally amazing today. So polite and professional. I love becoming here twice a week.
I really don't know what happened. It actually hurt donating this time. I rejected a re-stick cause they hurt my arm, and the lady started crying as she undid my blood pressure cuff and gauzed my arm like a child getting in trouble. I seriously don't know what that was about, and I hope they treat their staff with better respect if that's how a worker is going to respond if they messed up on a vein puncture. Cause she was looking at me like I got done yelling at her?? and that's all i can think about no
Best experience Eva is always amazing perfect attitude great spirit and have never had any issues while donating.
Understaffed, but that's not the staffs fault. I wish they would hire more people and have all 4 stations open, as well as use the full donation room so that the process would go by a lot faster, but if they currently can't then it's unreasonable to expect it like some people in these reviews.
I had a wonderful time at CSL Plasma the workers are very kind especially Anna from reception she was really helpful and kind whenever I had questions and concerns.
Adriana always does an amazing job
Staff is very disrespectful and passive aggressive. Any request or question which inconviences them they will make dirty faces at you or talk bad about you to the other staff in Spanish. Management is equally as rude if not worse.
It's a smile quick finacial help while feeling good. BUT I seriously do not understand why so often they have 1 single person doing screenings . There is always a big line. But when you have 1 employee doing every single one of them. And it takes you over an hour just to get your vitals checked. I think that is COMPLETELY uncalled for. Thats over working that individual employee and prolonging the patients visit. This has occurred multiple times.
Such a weird place, I can feel the vibes everytime I go here and they are quite nasty. It's beyond my comprehension but others have noticed the same thing. These employees need to act professional and stop thinking about how they are better than the rest of us. It's clear as day written in their face, if they were doing their job they would be so obvious as to the negative thinking displayed on their face and attitude.
Nancy helped me out when i came in to donate, it was my first time coming in and she was very kind and patient with me. great service ??
Great and friendly service from the front of the center to the back shout out to Marcianelle, Jose-Miguel, Sandra and Melissa for making it a pleasant experience always.
Arianna I hope is her name but I absolutely love her personality she's great n her glasses are cute !
Called my daughter "gorda y triste del gato" who are yall hiring!? You think white people don't know spanish!? Think I won't bring this to the top! If ever there's a reason to go full Karen, this is it!!!
I've attempted to donate more than 5 time and have yet only donated once, you offer a nice deal buy have made it impossible for me to donate the 5 times in 30 days. For 2 weeks I have tried to donate and only donated once. Differed for this reason, differed for that reason. You should really check vitals before having us answer the same questions at the kiosk, cause it's obvious we want to donate or we would not have come in and if we're not able for bruises or high BP or whatever we haven't wasted our tim
Best experience Venedita is always amazing perfect attitude great spirit very smoth never any pain deserves more then 5 stars
I enjoy coming to CSL plasma. The place is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly. They are good at attending donors.
Don't come in unless you have 3-4 hours to kill. Employees spend most of their time shuffling about talking amongst themselves and moving slooooooooooooooowwwwwwww. Absolutely disrespectful of donors' time. Barely any seating. Muzak is the same seven irritating songs on repeat.
Terrible customer service skills I called inquiring to become a new donor and let them know that I myself had punched a hole in my ID in order to put my ID and debit cards all on a keychain so that I did not lose them because I frequently lose them due to a medical condition. I told them that I had the ID which I punched a hole in it and a picture of the original as well as birth certificate, social security, proof of residency and everything else I needed. Also inform them that I had my other debit cards w
Very rude. They speak spanish only and rudely over you. I did not feel comfortable with someone doing a medical procedure with the way they treated me. The woman doing the intake called her coworker over and started speaking Spanish together about my medical treatment. I asked them to speak English. They told their manager on me. The manager basically said this is Mexico and a bilingual facility. I recommend Grifils they pay more and have a better bedside manner. Grifils make sure you understand everythin
Vene has been very good at sticking my arm with the needle ?? and you can't forget removing the needle ??... Alot of people like working with her ??
Was great for about the first year. Now, understaffed, they are cutting hours even though they obviously need people. Alot of times it has been taking over an hour to even get to the back and the lines are insane. There is not enough machines. They only have half of the chairs open on one side because they dont have enough machines and even on that side the machines are scarce because they are constantly breaking down. The staff tries to be as sweet as possible, but I would have a hard time being nice if I
They want to give bonuses but they took away 5 dollars each donation. You're pretty much breaking even maybe getting a 10 dollar bonus at the end of the month when they do bonuses.
Wait time 3 hours to donate as a regular plasma donar should not be normal at all! I donate regularly here and I am burning out on how sacrifice goes into my time here. Come here at 5pm? Leave at 8pm Come at 10am? Leave at 1pm? It's like I will see 2people ahead of me and I think oh no problem it's gunna go at a normal pace. NOPE basically like this Come at 12pm >signs in>waits in line>waits in line>30minutes has passed> gets screened 45mins in> waits in the next line> 30mins more has passed> finally able
I'll update this if it changes, but they keep turning me away for a bruise that their untrained employee gave me that has lasted more than a week. They had to stick me twice on that day because he did it wrong and they left bruises on both arms. The staff needs to be retrained on how to stick a needle in the arm. I donated plenty in Florida and never had this issue. I'm disappointed in the level of professionalism here. Update:I can back today to be told I can never use my left arm again because of a scar t
As im laying down to donate Sandra asks for my name I give it to her she says ?you must look at me while your talking I've donated over 80 times never been told that once I've had to stare at them then I ask can some one else do the poke she made me super uncomfortable they told me I gotta deal with it I say okay then they lie and say both my arms are bruised and I can't donate after standing for almost 2 hours never getting sent to medical not one bruise or mark on either arm she was literally jumping a
Venedita is always nice to me when I'm there she always does a good job I'm not scared to donate she take care of me
Had to take a protein test in the beginning of December and wasn't allowed to donate until the results came in 5-10 days afterwards. After the short and brief time period I called the center everyday hoping to get my results so I can donate finally and everyday they said the lab was falling behind on my results only from what it seemed like. Now it's been a whole month since my last donation and I call once again this morning to be told I have to come in once again for another protein test to see if these r
CSL Yuma messed up my arm so bad that I couldn't even move my arm the pain was so intense I think the staff aren't properly trained and have really poor attitude as if they hate working there
Clean center, good staff for the most part. 1 rude employee that doesn't seem to like me because I'm white, but she has been spoken to by management and the rest of the employees are polite and professional so it makes up for the rude one.
Staff has no sense of urgency. They could have the facility full of people waiting and will still be slow. Them being understaffed doesn't help. I was literally standing for an hour and a half and sitting waiting to be sticked for another 45 minutes. Other facilities won't take longer that an hour and a half.
I had to Google the proper way to check you blood pressure, after I was rejected,, and I was doing it wrong but no one corrected me. They make you stand there waiting and waiting and they look at you like, what wrong? Very unprofessional. I use to go to one in Tempe when I was in collage. And the in Yuma doesn't even compare. Very going here again and I recommend donating somewhere else. Also staff talks about other donaters in front of everyone
This place is way more strict than the other plasma place in Yuma. They will send you to medical for the slightest imperfection in your skin around the injection site. Also, a lot of their phlebotomists are not trained very well and they sit there and fish for veins on people and cause huge bruises on their arms and then when they come back to donate always get sent to medical for the bruises they caused. Also the place is running out of supplies and not 1 staff member will give any explanation as to why, n
Took 3 hours for them to tell me I was 1 day too early coming from the competing donation center. Nevermind the 1 week differal the system has on me, I just wasted an afternoon here
Honestly, MSA IS THE ONLY COOL PEOPLE FROM CSL EVERYONE ELSE TRAUMATIZED ME AND MY HEART GETS BOOSTED TO 125
Was in and out at a timely manner and Elihu (I think that's how u spell it ) made it an enjoyable experience thanks!
If ur must donate , like I do...in the last month, the disqualified her to brusing on both arms , and yesterday they destroyed both of my arms. Especially my right arm, dont know what happened, it blow up....if u value ur arms , don't go there...amateurs , the dont have the proper training to stick any one...ive never had these issues in the past....bad staff
Everything is usually a good experience but so tired of the long lines and now they have lowered the pay scale two times in the last couple of months.
Venedita the hardest working ppl there and shows kindness knowing that are time is precious she gets us in and out
Disconnects are a bit slow. but excellent service from team member Latamondeer !
Adriana and Aaron were both wonderful employees who made the experience pleasant and smooth
Csl plasma is amazing friendly Vicole is amazing always concerned about who she is helping and great attitude.
I had visited 4 times and was thinking that I would have to quit, I am very difficult to find a good vein. Alba not only found my vein...she was the only one that did not leave a mark! She is an angel!
Must not need donations very badly. I do not at the moment have my SS card. But I have official, original FBI documentation with my social matching my address on my license and with a blink of an eye. I was told not acceptable.
Had a great experience first time at CSL Plasma. Everyone was very friendly & informative
This place was cool when it first opened. But now it's just always to busy ! 2 hour wait busy!!! No chairs to sit and wait you just gotta stand there . It's always busy now too every time I go in I can't even donate because all the new druggie donors . Get more Mschines!!! Or some darn chairs
Friendly reception staff. Alba did my stick & was AMAZING. Wait times weren't bad at all!! Will definitely be back for a second donation.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
