Very disappointed in how this place has deteriorated in virtues and policy. Donor compensation has decreased significantly since changing over to Grifols, yet donation quantity has increased. Machinery cannot properly handle the increased donation requirement and stalls constantly and takes significantly longer to complete the process. Even worse, after not having donated for a while, Grifols sent me an email stating they would double my next donation compensation using a particular code, but the site super
I've been donating at this location for almost a year and a half, and everything was fine. They changed the name, and everything changed. The pay gets less each time; now they pump more plasma for less pay. The employees aren't happy anymore and don't provide good service. My husband went to donate this week because he received a message with a promotion for $100 on his next donation until June 8. He never received the $100. Sadly, we won't be donating at this location again.
Polite staff. However Freedom should have never switched to grifols. Unnecessary changes where made and pay decreased since switching over. Why offer less money than before? Greed is why. Not worth donating anymore for the pay. Especially since the donors risk their lives each time they are on machine.
Brianna was absolutely amazing! Very professional and ensure all of my necessary needs were met! Brava Freedom on the hiring process! Keep up the good work!
Equipment is bad, they will have to take you BP 6 times before getting a reading. It said my pulse was at a 106 then they sat me to the side for 15 minutes and then it took the cuff 4 more times to get my pulse that read 46. Then the person screening me told me since it's reading low I was unable to donate. I counted my pulse in the care for 1 min and it was 89. I waisted over an hour of my time which is just very frustrating, I will not being going back. I will be looking for other plasma centers in the ar
Freedom was great with their pay and even having a mil/vet bonus. They have struggled a bit once changing over to Grifols. The pay dropped over $30 a week and they removed any mil/vet benefits. I had a few issues with the Dr coming in and signing off on things, but my biggest issue and why I'm not planning on returning was a recent experience. During my recent intake, I was lanced and after the sample was taken, I glanced back from watching the TV Trivia and saw the tech finish wiping blood from her glove
This place screwed me out of my new donor bonus. Went in for my last donation, and they said I had a "bruise" on my arm and that I couldn't donate with it. They tried using my other arm and couldn't find the vein. Then, three separate staff members showed up to see and were confused about the bruise on my arm and why I couldn't donate with it. They then proceeded to only give me $5 instead of the full $100, and when I went back the next time to donate instead of giving the rest they told me since I was give
I love this center! It is the best Plasma Center in town, and a lot of hat has to do with the management. Amanda the CM is absolutely amazing! She is a true example of a Servant Leader, she is always willing to jump in and help her team. She invests in her team, I have personally seen her take the time to train and develop her team. Amanda runs this center with respect and fairness. I have been in the service business my whole life and I am telling you she is absolutely positively one of the best!
Don't go here if you don't have a "good proof of address. Sat there for a good 30 minutes for nothing. They tell me my proof of address was good, then tell me it's not. Surely the rest of the staff can't be as bad as the receptionists
I love this facility! The staff is very quick, efficient, and CLEANLY! Im never here longer than an hour and a half. Amanda and staff have done a wonderful job with patients. Very friendly and welcoming! Definitely a 10/10. Would 100% recommend!
Corinne is the best phlebotomist I've had since I started donating over 2 years ago! She's friendly and welcoming and her needle sticks are perfect! I had 2 minor request as far as the Iodine and the preferred wrap after donating and she was more than happy to accommodate. Freedom Plasma is the best place I've donated at so far! It's clean, modern, quick, efficient, friendly and respectful. Love the convenience of booking an appointment and the prompt service I receive every time. Pay was $100 for each of m
I have been coming here for approximately 5 months now and I love it here. I always have certain people I request to stick me. Those people in order are Cory, Lequeen, and Reina. I get my fastest times with these 3. Also Amanda and Jefferson are by far my favorite people here. They are very kind and enjoyable to interact with. Everytime I walk in they are quick to greet me and ask me how my day is. For the most part though, this place brings positive vibes.
The staff here is always great. Be prepared to block out 1 1/2 - 3 hours of your day for an appointment though, you never know how long it will take. My biggest complaint is the website and the scheduling process. The website only caters to new donors and gives no options for scheduling follow on appointments. Searching google for the website to make follow on appointments usually turns up nothing as well. They need to link their scheduling website to their homepage to make it simpler.
All the stuff have been great so far I've had a really good experience everyone is friendly and professional. I especially enjoy Mrs. Corinne she is kind quick and effective and I don't even feel the needle when she sticks me. They all deserve a raise.
Alyssa was great getting my vitals today, very friendly and helpful when getting me seated. Keyera was also great getting me hooked up, very efficient and personable. My visit today was very smooth and enjoyable ?? Edit 5/3/24- I come to this clinic a lot and everyone has been great so far, today Cory hooked me up and both times Cory has hooked me up before I could barely feel the needle at all, very skilled. I know I can expect a smooth visit whenever I come in even if it's a busy day. By far the best pla
Akita was very sweet and friendly. No pain when she stuck me. It was quick and smooth
Was told one weight limit and then a different one once we showed up so big guys it's 400 max.
I love coming here. It's clean and even when they're busy, they don't make you wait! I love Brianna! Very nice and friendly. I also feel NOTHING when she gets my vein!
First time coming here was amazing, everyone was super great. Tried to go at 9:45am this morning and the man working the front desk was disgustingly rude, and definitely needs an attitude adjustment. This being my second time not knowing where the question board was, he dismissed me quickly before I could even get my question out.
I read the negative reviews to try and figure out if they hold any ground. Imo they don't. Sounds like grumblings on par of crap I hear from mediocre white men ?? I promise they do change gloves between clients, very clean, very nice people that work here. I enjoy being able to make jokes with them and have conversations. I came here for a new donor bonus earlier in the year and have stayed here longer than any other donation place because I haven't had any issues and staff is great! You just gotta figure
This center is extremely dangerous. Many health and safety code violations. If you've worked in the medical field or have any knowledge: You know it's dangerous to leave 12 people/patients to 1 employee/staff. (Especially if they're hooked up to plasma machines.) You know it's unsafe and unsanitary to NOT change your gloves in between patients, whether you're touching them, sticking them, etc. You know you should be washing your hands regularly, regardless if you're wearing gloves or not. You know it's
Check in process is easy and very quick. Everyone is pretty nice and professional. But Corinne is great! I don't like needles but she makes the whole process comfortable and does it as quick and painlessly as you probably can lol. Recommended
Since the 1st of the year, with them switching to Grifols, there has been no coordination in transitioning. Three weeks in a row now I've been turned away due an issue on their part and told to "come back next Monday and it should be fixed." Today I go in and same thing, "our doc forgot to check a box in your profile, he won't be back till next Monday, you can come back then." "Freedom" was great and I never had an issue, the "now Grifols" is absolutely terrible and dont seem to know how to run a smooth o
I've been going here to Freedom Plasma consistently for about 5 months. This place is always clean, professional and has a friendly atmosphere. Today, i was stuck by reina and she did a great job and was friendly. Theres a lot of good phelbotomists who work here that will ensure you are taken care of during the whole process. Big shout outs to my never miss, go-too phelbotomist's Alex and Corey.
Every since they switched ion like it and this morning this miserable dude at the counter told me I smelled like weed and deferred me which I didn't because I don't smoke he was completely out of line
Don't waste your time. If you are a returning donor they now have gate keepers that I watched reject 5 new donors including myself because they don't feel comfortable. I get safety however if I have donated before with ZERO issues it's unfair that two Saturdays in a row I have been turned away even with following their directions.
During my donation, a young woman across from me was having a difficult time. The staff was so quick to resond. They were exceptional in caring for her. She was scared and they were very kind and attentive.
My experience at freedom plasma has always been exceptional. The staff is very professional and attentive. The facility is always clean and up to standard. My intake today with Charron was great as usual. Again expect nothing less from such a great crew, from the Amanda down great leader great crew. Keep up the great work.
Ms. Amanda is a great manager and do a great job making sure every donor is taking care of and comfortable. The staff she over are good workers and do a great job.
Corinne exemplifies exceptional customer service through her personable demeanor, sincere approach, attentive listening, and proactive assistance. She is very appreciated and clearly a strong asset to the phlebotomist team. Thank you for all you do!
Been coming here for about a year now. Took my spouse with me so he could donate as well. One of the phlebotomists didn't know what she was doing and when she stuck him she caused his needle site to bubble up and had a look of fear on her face. This was the 26th of July. My spouse has been having pain in his arm since then. We are waiting on a appt with the VA. When I find out it's connected I will personally find a way to get that lady fired. The site manager Amanda isn't nice. After that happened with him
Came to this place since it was new but save your time and arm. They'll leave you waiting with no info on what's going on until you get up and ask to see what's happening. They can't stick to save their life. Can't even draw blood for a simple sample and it wasn't just me, almost every other donor need to be re-stick for what I've seen.Their employees are extremely unprofessional if you can even call them employees. You might as well do it yourself. You will waste your time here. NOT recommended at all.
Its so refreshing to go into a center and be treated like a human being, and not a number or a chart. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I am legally blind, so going somewhere new is scary. This place is amazing, and fast. Will gladly keep coming back.
Not bad 8/10 times. But those 2/10 a certain lady starts getting confused or something and starts going out of order. It's the one who always looks like she doesn't want to be there. Never seen her have a good day or have a normal face
Amazing place, I have donated at different locations and nothing compares to here. Great for military. The workers are nice and get to know the people who come instead of just there for a pay check like most other places.
K. Roe & Amanda are the best part of freedom plasma. K. Roe has a smile and energy that lights up a room and makes it a pleasure to donate and work with. Amanda has a passion that shows she truly cares for her staff and potential donors that continues to bring people through the door.
I have been donating since July 2024, Personnel are very nice and professional, I never have any inconvenience here during my donation days, everybody treat me with respect and they make me feel confortable every visit. I recommend this place to anyone!
I started donating here a little over a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how the staff treated my husband and myself. Other places had not treated their donors as well as Freedom was treating us. We decided this was our place. Amanda is always friendly and funny. She can solve any issues that arise. The phlebs are great. Reyna, Cory, Corrine, Kat, Ro, Sherril, Tonya, Sydney, McQueen, Alex, Mary and Bri?they are all great. There are some who I don't list, but they are great as well. From the st
Corinne is one of the very few people that I will let stick me. She is nice, funny, gentle, and definitely know how to maneuver the needle through my tricky veins on the first try without issues. You have an asset in Corinne!!
Down of the staff was super friendly and nice. Unfortunately I ended up having to wait a good 3 hours before I was able to do my physical because no one checked on me and I was told to sit down and someone would get me. The physical part went super quick as well as the donation. And they did give me a $20 bonus card for the inconvenience, but the phlebotomist never entered the card and so I ended up spending a couple extra hours with no compensation. Other than that, the place was really clean and the staff
I've been coming freedom plasma for a few months and I have no complaints. Corinne is amazing at what she does. Along with a lot of the other staff. Being in the same field, I am very picky about who sticks me but so far, she impresses me every time.
Lala is the best hardest worker there, every time I'm there and her service is needed she is on it. She is very kind and a professional. She definitely deserves a raise with a promotion. I will definitely recommend her to anybody who comes here. (THANK YOU LALA????)
Tiffany is the best! Very sweet and down to earth. She's my go to every time I go to donate and I have hard veins to find due to them being deep and she hits it right on every single time. Never feel any pain. Very professional! <3
??If your Hispanic please do not go here this place is racist they discriminated against my mom and denied her as a new donar all because she couldn't speak English well but she understands it 100% this place is not Hispanic friendly??????
COREEEEYYYYYY ! My guy! He's never missed and I'm a hard stick, one of the best phleb?s here. Every time he sees me he knows he has to stick. ?? but I appreciate him, super gents super kind and reassuring.
First off this plasma center is amazing! So clean, friendly and better than any other I've been to. My favorite Phlebotomist is most definitely Corinne. She brightens my day after I have had a long day at work. She never hurts when she sticks me. She is so friendly and funny If I am having a bad day she'll always make me smile. No matter what day it is I always see her happy, smiling and joking with co workers. She is an overall amazing person. I would love to see her more in the afternoons! If there is any
The staff made the entire process of donating plasma smooth and comfortable. The facility was clean and well-maintained, which put me at ease during my visit. What truly stood out was the genuine care and appreciation shown by the staff towards donors. I can't say enough about Corinne she was my phlebotomist she was very friendly, and knowledgeable and made my donation that much smoother 10 out of 10 recommend her to be your Phlebotomist. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking to donate plasma in
The best of the best for patient service and care. The staff knows all the patients by name. Ms Raina is always there with a smile.
Great staff!! Fun, unique, and very professional. They make the gift of donating and saving lives that much worth it. Bless the manager and her great staff!!!
My Corinne is amazing. Thank you. Please give her four weekends off and raise and give extra money to Glen Petersen. He is very poor
I love this place everyone so respectful very clean and caring feels like my other family Amanda always doing her thang I for real don't dislike anybody here keep up the good work yall ??Akita a new donor and she was great I love her already she made sure I had no problem at all great woman
Wow I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing being deferred because the nurse doesn't know how to use a needle. So let me get this right you people would rather permanently defer a client who is saving lives instead of punishing someone who obviously needs to be trained how to stick people's arms?
The staff are amazing! Corinna is always so gentle and friendly, but I've never had a bad experience ??
I have twice the first time think you lady name was Ebony she had good energy she set tone. The atmosphere was great everyone was nice and they are fast not like the 4 hours I waited at another place. You want be disappointed.
I started donating last year when there was no need to make appointments and the difference from then to now is so much greater... no wait time at all!!! The process for me ( or for anyone that is well hydrated) is no more than an hour, from the questionnaire, screening and process on a good day 50-60 minutes. Staff is knowledgeable, courteous, caring, friendly and real fun to be around; Their level of care is up to par and I feel comfortable around them, specially those that have been working there for a w
Been coming here for almost a year and in the beginning I didn't have the best experience but thanks to Keyera and Roe, they always make me feel like I'm family. Definitely the best phlebotomist and deserve a promotion ??
Very respectful and always polite staff members. I was a new donor and my veins often roll I guess but they always make sure to be very attentive to me and get the job done. -C.Davis
Freedom Plasma is the business to go to. I have tried Biolife and others and they don't have the efficiency and great personnel like Freedom. Freedom has always been straight forward and easy to understand.
All the plebs are great and staff is awesome. Shout out to Corinne also, because she is always good and fun to talk to
I have been going to this place for over a year now. I haven't had any real issues with them. I've been lucky enough to get the majority of the time the same people . Be for warned that you will have permanent marks on your arms. I have 1 on each arm for going for so long.
Corinne is very professional and very great at her job. I absolutely love having her watch over me during a procedure.
If your look to make easy money, come to this place. Maximum weight time I've ever experienced was 10 minutes. Professional establishment and great group of staff. Best phlebotomist are Corrine and K?Sea!!!
Been going for months, love the staffing there. Corinne goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and okay. Highly recommend her.
Overall experience is always good. i just think that since the payouts are weight based, they should AT LEAST repeat your weight to you. I weighed in at over 150 (153.8 to be exact you can see the number yourself) and the screener listed me 7lbs under so i lost money that i get every time i go.
I love freedom plasma! The environment is clean and the people are friendly. Corinne especially made my day whenever I go there, she's so nice and knows what she's doing, such a great place!
Corinne is awesome. I do like place, it's not so bad on the wait time to be screened so that's a plus. Ooo yea I love me some La La too
I came in and hand an amazing experience Aaliyah and sean were amazing the moment we came in friendly welcoming and smiling ?? and stormy was great to super fun staff would rate this location a 10/10
Just a pleasant experience every time I've gone. From the folks who sit up on the perch to the pro's on the floor, great staff. If there have been any glitches it's been due to mother nature. The ladies and gentlemen who work here leave their issues at the door and always offer a smile. Top notch. Keep it up.
Always a great experience coming in to Freedom Plasma. The workers are always super friendly and make it a good experience. It's a clean environment & they get you in and out!
Nice, clean, cold, place but friendly never have I been disappointed coming here. K'Sea does great she friendly, fast can hold a great conversation while she getting you hooked up to the mechine and she gets it on the first time.
Reina , Mary & Corinne are one of the best! Definitely gentle handed and the stick does not pinch! ???? I just love them!! ??
These people are rude, unprofessional and treat every person like they are drug users. Last week I had to disconnect due to their lack of knowledge in their job because I have rolling veins. This week, when I showed up to my appointment I was reprimand like a child in a room full of people and talked down to like I was stupid by an angry woman who wouldn't let me get a word in edge wise. She spoke lies about what went on the previous time without letting me speak. If you want to keep your veins intact go
This Plasma Center was the best from start to finish. Their process sets you up for success and the staff are professional and very respectful. The process takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours but who can complain about making $100 in that time. They accept walk-ins so don't hesitate and donate it's saving a life everyday!! Thanks Freedom-Plasma!! Corinne always takes care of me and her customers with great pride and professionalism.
Terrible facility. I had a 8:30 am appointment and went through the screening process. I legit watched 5 people go in front of me. To be honest I feel it was intentional. Do not ever go here
Have been coming here for about three months now and Sabrina has always been great during donation sessions, always friendly and informative and ensures everyone is given attention and care during donations. One of the best phlebotomist I have ever worked with.
Very friendly staff and very efficient in getting you in and out quickly. Their phlebotomists are great and make it as painless as possible
Although I had a hard time coming over to this center from my previous center. I have finally gotten to switch centers an it's a pleasure being here. The employees remember me greet me by name. They are very good with the customers. Appointment based so no waiting. Definitely a great center to be at.
Since I started coming to freedom they have been the sweetest people ever!!! Miss Amanda greets me each time and make me feel welcomed. The staff is great as well and I would definitely recommend this facility for donations ??
Ms Corinne and the other staff are amazing. Super quick and efficient. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes to get into a bed and get donating.
K?sea made the experience better than average. A lot of techs be goofing around but she stays focused and handles business. Best tech by far 10/10 would recommend
I have always had a good experience here. I appreciate how attentive and concerned the staff is when someone isn't responding well to the procedure.
Brianna did amazing job with disconnecting me. It was quick and very painless. She took her time and was still so efficient. I appreciate her work. Thank you.
Kaleb and the crew here at this center are also so quick and helpful! Very approachable and ready to assist in anyway! I definitely recommend this center!
Never visit and probably won't, they have employees at work in a building with NO heat, they not even open why keep them there if no heat. The temperature is not even supposed to get above freezing today. Just crazy. Someone sitting in the warmth of there home making a decision to keep employees in a building with NO HEAT!
Corinne is the most professional and politest person I have ever met. I know I'm in good hands with her
Always helpful and see to it you are taken care of. I had my arms start to leak, because the clot gave way. They took me back immediately, cleaned my arm up and rewrapped it in only a couple minutes and it stopped bleeding.
Sabrina is amazing. I am generally a very hard stick but she hasn't failed me once! She always has a little joke that eases the anxiety.
Donating at freedom plasma was a good experience. I must say though that Corinne was what got five stars. I am not an easy stick as they say. My veins rarely cooperate but she was amazing. I didn't even feel it. Thanks Corinne
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
