Place was great in the beginning. You give 4 times with Freedom the they switch you to grifols and reduce your pay without notice. In the present the wait times are insane. Best to free up a minimum of 2 hours to give. Or more some days. They act offended if you ask to have a kiosk cleaned because it looks as if the screen has snot on it. A kiosk you must use for your survey questions. And I know they've all had the bodily fluids training. You have staff loudly bitching about their job talking about it woul

The staff abs phlebotomists are literally the nicest and friendliest people! My wife and I absolutely love to come here. However, today when I went to give, not only did I find out that I was giving more plasma (800 to 1000) but that I'm receiving less pay for it, and they took away the military bonus! So here's some statistics... Market Value: The global plasma protein therapeutics market is a multi-billion dollar industry, with projections reaching $32 billion by 2027. This indicates the high value pla

The staff members here are great, but Grifols has driven the prices down to a point where you can make more money driving for DoorDash than selling them your bodily fluids. I used to recommend this service to everyone who said they could use some extra money, and now I wouldn't recommend it to someone who truly needed more money to get by.

Place is a damn joke. Come here if you wanna sit for 3.5 hours watching everyone get to go ahead of you just for them to tell you that something?s wrong even though you just got the test from your doctors office saying you were good to go. I sat in a chair for 3.5 hours until they closed and they made up some bullshit ass excuse as to why I couldn't donate.

I started donating at Freedom Plasma in January 2024 I received $100 for my first 8 donations and $150/week after that. I earned and saved $3,150 in just over 5 months. I had to quit going after school was out and I got a tattoo over the summer so I had to wait until January to go back... that's when I discovered Grifols took over and they lowered those payments to $100 for the first 4 donations and $125/week ($45 & $80) after taking over. When I donated last week Grifols lowered the payouts again to $100 f

I love going here. The staff know me and are very friendly. They will joke with you and really try to make the experience as great as possible. Yes the facility is cold, but I feel like it kinda has to be? Labs are cold too when you go to get blood drawn. I have had several deferrals and if you PAY ATTENTION they explain why and tell you EXACTLY what to do. They even give you a paper. I just hate how the donation payouts dropped from $50 to $45 and $100 to $80 but when you need money, you need it. But hones

The staff are friendly and the facility is clean, but that's it. Ever since Freedom Plasma got bought out by a German company named Grifols, the payout had decreased tremendously, and the size of the bottle has increased from 800 ML to 1000 ML. That's right, you get paid a lot less and now they take more plasma from you. This is crazy! The pay use to be $150 a week (with Freedom Plasma). The pay under Grifols has decreased twice since January. The first decrease went to $125 per week and the second decrease

The staff is overall wonderful. It's the compensation that's lacking since grifols has taken over. They keep making it cheaper and cheaper.

Grifols Aka the old freedom plasma is the absolute worst!! They rip you off every chance they get. They will mess your veins up in your arms and treat you like scum!! Go to a different plasma center!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!!

VERY NICE PEOPLE BUT VERY VERY VERY SLOW IF YOU GO TO THIS PLESMA PLACE DO NOT SCHEDULE FOR ANY APPOINTMENT. YOU WON"T MAKE IT I WAS LATE TO GET TO WORK TWICE BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE AND THEY DON"T GO BY YOUR APPOINTMENTS

The company decided not only to take more plasma from it donors, but also pay them less money while doing so. Unless you really need the little bit of money they give you, don't feed the greed!

I was nervous to first come here after reading alot of these horrible reviews. But I decided to take a chance and see myself. The wait time isn't that horrible, I mean your possibly saving someone's life and also making cash to do so. The place is very clean. And the staff that I have encountered with have been very polite and just doing there jobs. People seem to take that the wrong way. I had the pleasure of meeting Melody ( Melanie ) I can't remember which one was her name correctly. But she did awesome

I have been donating for a little while now. The wait time from beginning time till end has gotten worse. They need better management. They need workers that have specific jobs. One that keeps machines set up for donation. Then one to ready the patient, then one to unhook and release patient for each section. The check in needs to work. You should have a check in then finger print the an app on your phone that emails the questions for the rest of the check in. The staff needs to stay focused on there job in

If you can get in and out in 2 hours I advise you play the lotto that day. Staff are inexperienced and dismissive. I have had HUNDREDS of blood draws and injections in my life... never have I had these issues. One day they had to stick one arm 4 times, then had to move to the other arm for another 3 tries, then u can't donate because of the bruise that THEY made. Once I had an appt scheduled for 9, didn't get seen until 10:30, then didn't get hooked up until 11:30. My donation took about an hour, so I sat t

They treat you like family they check on u while ur there to donate

Wait times are horrible. This has gotten alot worse over the past several months. The donation procedure itself is 45 minutes to one hour but the wait time is just as long if not longer anymore. For example, my appointment was today at 9:30 and I am still waiting 45 minutes later. This needs to be improved. Staff and phlebotomist are great and place is very clean.

I've driven past that place hundreds of times since they opened up and always wondered about it. I was always reluctant because I don't like needles and didn't know if I wouldn't have negative side effects. I have to say my experience exceeded all my expectations. They staff was amazing and the process went as smooth as can be expected. I will go back

Went three times and had no issues tried after that my heart rate was high okay understandable why I can't donate after the third time they said I had to go to the doctor to get this form filled out as to if there was anything going on as to why my heart rate was so high I told them it was my anxiety. So I went to the doctor they filled out the paperwork put their stamp on it I take it back they said they were missing something so I go back to the doctor get the information they were missing as to why my he

My first time ever donating was 8/29 and 8/31. They told me to return the following Thursday and Saturday the 5th and 7th . I showed up on the 5th and after the Kiosk didn't populate any questions, one of the Nurses told me to come with her . She explained badly, ( aka way too vague ) that they had encountered an issue affecting 100 Donors, something to do with Plasma samples, that I was unable to give and someone would call me back . At this point I hadn't donated since 8/31 so I went to CSL in Co

The nurses are excellent. The manager however is not! The guy sitting across from me was jacking off and I had told the nurse. She immediately told the manager who said he would watch the cameras. By the time I had gotten done, the manager STILL didn't watch any cameras!!! Said he was the only manager and didn't have time? smh. Be careful ladies. Anyone can be sitting across from you!

Not just a master of their craft but a comedic genius that knows how to have fun while doing their job exceptionally well. Their witty marketing, quirky customer service, inventiveness, and emphasis on teamwork create an experience that is truly unforgettable. This company reminds us that laughter is not only the best medicine but also the secret ingredient to a thriving business. So, let's raise a toast to the extraordinary adventures of this hilarious company, where excellence and humor go hand in hand!

Even though there were 7 people ahead of us in line, the staff were efficient in getting people where they needed to be. It was clean and staff were helpful. There was a supervisor there the morning we were there. I don't know if things would have been as efficient if he hadn't been there making sure the line of people moved as quickly as possible or if staff would have been as helpful. I hope so but don't really know.

The initial visit takes much longer due to reading about what's going to happen and physical. The actual process if you are hydrated normally takes 45 minutes to an hour. This facility is still fairly new and they have gotten more employees over the last couple weeks. People need to patient and let the new people get trained properly. Overall the facility is clean and employees are friendly. I think they have done a great job with the amount of people that come to donate and amount of workers. My advice i

Go in for yourself, the reviews here do not match my experience. I was worried after reading reviews, but quickly changed my mind. The nurses were nice, friendly and my intake + donation took about an hour and a half. Call in ahead of time to see if they are busy or not. I went in around 11am on a Thursday and was done by 12:30pm.

So far, I've had no problem with them. The staff is awesome, and they explain why I can't give the few times I couldn't due to high blood pressure and things like that. I don't know why there are people who say that they are being lied to in other reviews, because Freedom Plasma has been nothing but open and honest with me. I'm glad that they are there, because it feels good knowing that they are helping people who need plasma.

This place is an absolute joke. My boyfriend has gone in several times trying to start donating over the course of several months (since LAST YEAR). They always scour over his paperwork to find any little reason to reject him. He's a completely healthy, physically clean young male and drug/disease free, he just has severely damaged teeth from CHILDHOOD NEGLECT because his parents were horrible people... Or maybe they're rejecting him because he's openly in a gay relationship. Idk what flavor of prejudiced t

The staff seems well-trained and I would give them 4-5 stars, but this location desperately needs streamlining and workflow. The reimbursements are nice, but don't come close to compensating you for your time spent waiting. Assume 3.5-6 hours for a new client (and you have to go in advance to make an appointment and come back another day--they don't take walk-ins). Assume 2-4 hours for return clients. You need to have nothing else scheduled the day of your donation. There are plenty of donation beds, but al

My initial visit took about 4 hrs tops including donation. After that I was never in there more than 2 hrs. Wednesday n thursdays seem to be less crowded. The actual donation for myself is 25-40 minutes so everyone is different. I don't think it's that bad could be worse maybe just get a few more chairs for people to sit while waiting

Waited 2 hours just to get checked in and have my blood screened only to be told I couldn't donate because my protein was too high. So I have to come back and go through the physical all over again. It was ridiculous! They need more staff and a quicker intake and screening process. People should be able to get screened within a half hour of walking in so that they don't waste their time sitting around for nothing. You can't make an appointment. It's strictly walk in and WAIT. And wait, and wait. Thi

Clean facility, friendly staff; this does take time. First visit is 3.5 hours and must have appointment. Regular donors are approx. 2 hours. Often there is a line, so plan accordingly. Be sure to drink a lot of water and eat a snack beforehand. Great way to relax and read a book! Definitely need to expand hours of operation!

I called them at 9 am to see if I needed to make an appointment as a new donor and they told me on the phone that even after the second time of me already donating there I did not have to make an appointment so I showed up at 12pm and had to wait till 4:30 pm to even be seen even though I went onto the site to make my appointment for 2:30pm. The lady at the front desk told me that the only appointment they had was at 4:30 but when I went to the site to get an appointment it showed a time for 2:30 so I chose

Went to freedom plasma in Mansfield Ohio to donate after three hours I had to take a paper to my lung doctor then I had to wait for there physician to okay it then so then after I donated they told me I had to take paper to my family doctor cause I was taking a cholesterol shot so I did that then they came back told me I tested positive for syphillis I went straight to my family doctor was tested and was negative the dates on the papers they gave me is wrong they got me there 7/30/23 and was never there th

It was not shared that there are certain diagnoses that make someone ineligible until I was already there for an hour and a half. There should be signage or something people can see that lets them know they cannot donate. Very poor experience. Edit: After saying they would reach out, the business has failed to do so, furthering this incredibly unsatisfying experience.

Waited 4 hours to be told at 4:10 that they would not be able to see me today. The check in process needs to be greatly enhanced. People waited 4+ hours to be then told to sorry. Maybe a pre screening to see if you are even eligible to give that day. Possibly have the notebook you read at the kiosk digital and accessible via mobile so that while you wait you can read and acknowledge. Instead of the 3 kiosks being full with people reading they could reduce the time from 30-45 minutes a person to 15 minutes.

I love to donate. And it's a bonus when Marques is there. He's so friendly and always makes me feel welcome. You have got to keep him around. It's boring when he's not around

Initial visit will take 4-6 hours based on how many new people are already there. If you have already been here before, just sign in at the kiosk and get the blood test then you're in the next open bed. Donating takes about 45 minutes. Time you're there depends on how many people are ahead of you. They have limited staff for initial intake and testing, and it can take some time for them to clean the stations from the previous person. If you don't think it is worth your time, you get $300 over 3 trips that w

Usually this place CAN BE a good experience. All depending on who you are dealing with. All the front desk lady's ND screening lady's are AMAZINGGGGGG !!!! I actually love them so much and look forward to coming in and talking with them 2 times a week. The problem isn't the wait time, and I've waited 3 hrs before. My problem is, some of the women drawing the blood need way more training before actually working on us. They need training and not training on us. 10/27/22 my husband donated. Wait wasn't to bad

This place isn't what it once was, there is too much shop politics and too much inter personnel relationships / favoritism. Place has not been the same since Tyler Robinson left, and the fact that they will let other donors lay hands on you while you're donating is ridiculous and then couldn't even get anyone to take a complaint about it.........

VERY let down by this place. Drove an hour n 10min just to be turned away because I live just over 50 miles away (52). RECEPTIONIST VERY RUDE/DISMISSIVE. Donor location requirements not listed clearly if at all on website. Didn't know a place that receives donations would be picky about where a donor lives.

Tried 3 days in a row to donate. Third day said I can't be a donor because I have arthritis in my spine. But I see a bunch of crack heads looking for money for their next fix. So if you're looking to make money for drugs this is the place for you. If your healthy and clean your going to have problems.

I have donated at CSL plasma before and the experience at freedom plasma was about the same. I was kind of weary about going after all the bad reviews on Google but to my surprise this place was absolutely not as described by people on Google! I made an appointment about a month and a half ago (because they are so booked) for my first initial appointment they told me that it would be a 3-hour appointment and I was done in two! The wait times and such described were nothing of what I experienced and the staf

Expect to wait for appx. 4 hours your first visit if it's possible I would schedule it. The second time coming I was in and out in about an hour and a few minutes. Stay hydrated, eat well and rest well. The longest part of the process for me personally was the initial visit, then when you come back the kiosk is really slow.

They silenced some machines today because they had 2 ladys walking through watching over everybody. They disconnected once lady for no flow she was post to sit 15-20 minutes but was gave a juice and told to drink warter and let go!!!!

This place sucks!!!! Brand New company and won't even pay you as a new donor. What a joke.

Where to start.... I called facility 3 times in a week to get information prior to coming. After the 3rd call I finally got a call back. ? No appointments. Walk in only ? Doors locked, yet there were 16 people already inside waiting at 09:50 when another return donor told me I could go in as someone left) ? No direction from staff (other people in line were directing new donors on process to check in) ? 8 chairs for 26 people waiting (at 10: 10 am) ? 2 employees taking vitals ? 3 employees processing plasma

Terrible experience. Had to call 5 times to get someone to answer . Answered my question and I drove out with my documents and the answer was wrong so I drove out and wasted my gas for nothing. This place is a joke.

Marcus Angie and savanna are really terrific don't let young lady with green and magenta hair poke you she digs in your arm missed the vein blood started pooling inside my arm and outside and she gave me a hematoma

EDIT: went back to give him a second chance my first two with Brant Brent whichever phlebotomist he is he got it right in no issue got full donations magically the same girl that screwed up the last time and got me set away for 2 months once again screwed up today and got me deferred again I will not be back I will not be giving you guys no more chances anybody that tries to come I will tell them don't do it

Don't do it!! Blew my daughters vein. Put the needle into my muscle. Extremely rude desk help. Had a confirmation email but the appointment didn't show on their end so was told I was out of luck.

Great stuff your first time takes forever but after that your there maybe 2 hr's they try to get your right thow shane the best guy you can tell he really care about his job ...

Great experience. The staff is always super nice. It does take a while to donate but they do it to best fit your needs.

They are never on time for your appointment you'll sit there some time upwards of 3 hours and then they will find any and every reason to defer you for that day so they don't have to work most of there personal wouldn't know stick you if it could save there life all round a bad day when you go in there

Place straight out lies to new donors you are told $975 for 8 donations and after the second one they say it was changed by corporate and you get $50. For one bs false advertisement. Don't know about other people but I dont like being lied to. Goes to show can't trust anyone anymore.

Any time I have been there there's been lack of communication and I feel they are favoritism I am a healthy individual yes I do drink plenty of water I have also spoken to plasma centers in Columbus we are aloud to drink water no Sugar drinks however if the nurse can't receive any blood you don't move the needle inside the vain to cause more bruising

It has been my experience on a couple of occasions already as a donor that staff have on multiple occasions ignored donor concerns during the donation process Additionally when donor voices a concern they are met with concern ignored I have been refused attention to my concern untold when I persisted that I could just be taken down. Which means deferral

I love to interact with the phlebotomist and tech's at the Mansfield location. They are all friendly and make the donating experience comfortable.

My husband waited 5 hours! Only to be told his protein was to high! Huge waste of his day off?. 5 hour waits are ridiculous and BioLife was soooo much faster

Waited about 4 hours to be turned away because I had a baby 5 months ago even tho it doesn't say anything about that sat there for so long as I watched people go before me and they don't even compensate you for the time they wasted I watch people literally walk in after me and go before me everyone was so slow not only that but the workers weren't all that nice either this place needs some management help

I called and was told to come in to make an appointment, why couldn't I do it over the phone?? I wasted time and gas to get an appointment thats in 15 days away from the day i went! Kinda of stupid that i couldn't just make the apointement over the phone..

Very nice staff members

You will be there minimum 4 hours on your first visit.. They say they compensate for your time, but only when it benefits them.. I wasted 3 hours there and was turned away because of a sunburn on my leg...go figure.

I a m very pleased with the services I've received from the company. They all are very helpful n friendly. I enjoy coming

Been going here awhile now I have had no problems staff is very friendly and professional I highly recommend you give it a try for some extra cash

Good staff but it does take a while to get through the prosses first time you donate like around 4 hours.

I have questions about the process of this. Do they give you any type of paperwork from your visit? How much do they pay? And do they just take anyone?

I went in to donate several months ago and was told I couldn't because I had cancer 5 years ago. I've been cancer free ever since. What the heck?

Very friendly employees. Nice environment. Needing extra cash? Plus help people in the process...

Nice, friendly, clean facility and employees. Easy and most of the time is fast completing the process.

Saw a bed bug crawling towards my legs during my first screening. Disgusting place, not for respectable people.
