I absolutely love this place! Whitney and Maia are the best phlebotomists on the team! No discomfort during needle insertion at all. They are very attentive to the donors during donations and they always check on the donors asking if they are feeling okay and they have the friendliest attitudes along with being very knowledgeable about the process. I am in very good hands with these two ladies. They absolutely most expressly deserve to receive a pay raise and recognition for their work ethic!
My experience here has been great. I went in the first time (ever donating plasma or blood) not really knowing what to expect, but with an open mind. The first visit did take a little more than three hours because of the process that it takes (medical exam, overview of what to expect, general education, etc) but these things are entirely reasonable this medical procedure and I appreciated the care they took to make sure I was comfortable, knew what was going on, and that my donation would be safe for reci
I've decided to redo my review since there has been some significant changes. For one,the donor fees have went down significantly, but thats not the issue. The parking space lanes really do need repainting. While not a major issue, it does make parking a hassle if there's a lot of donors. Another issue is " role calling." If you use the computer to do your questionnaires, it will tell you what number you are in the queue, but everytime I'm there I never get called in order. I almost feel as though this is b
I gave my first donation today. Unfortunately Grifols taking over the center has left an open area of miscommunication between the staff and new donors, as well as previous donors. Juan helped me the best he could and he had to get a manager to go over the new policy, which was not listed visibly or on the website. I had to leave twice to go get the correct documentation. I felt bad because I really needed the money but their kindness and patience upon my return made the visit worth it. The manager that hel
These 3 the best hands down but it's only one lady that need to be gone every time I donate she's either frowning or yelling at someone her name is crystal please try to avoid her she's very rude she don't speak she think she's better than the people that donate and her employees im very positive her energy is off and very disrespectful she only care about her and the people she bring in I think she's stealing money putting on her man friends card I overheard someone say she gave me two payments I feel lik
My name is darius wheatley this review was also emailed to the corporate office. Ok so I came in to donate this morning and made it parsley through the donation. It kept saying no flow and the light kept coming on so Whitney fixed it a couple times, then she informed me that she might have to do a restick in my other arm, which I informed Whitney that's not a good idea because the last time my arm swelled up from allowing someone to stick me in my left arm, so I told her that's not gonna to happen she said
Best job i ever had. I'm honestly upset that i moved because i would?ve never left. Crystal, was a great center Director! I loved it there. Janai the assistant manager was super sweet! And very caring. They cared about all of my questions and concerns. They made work exciting and fun! I miss freedom plasma
Staffing is great, atmosphere is wonderful, the time and effort is forever, now you have to make a appointment because they are so busy, but they don't have the proper app, you must scan the scan code to hook your next appointment. They need helping hands here badly. I really like the staff but they are over packed and it's harder for the workers to get the job done when everyone is to the max busy.
One staff didn't stick the needle in right And caused me to swell! They need better training.
This is my first time here. Nasha, the nurse@ the front desk was absolutely fantastic!! Handsdown the best interaction I've ever had with an employee at the end of the business day. She also was the one that started my new donor process. I was anxious from horrible traffic ,she spoke with me with such a calming friendly manner, it lifted my entire day. So greatful for her caring and compassionate attitude. Give her a raise ????please add Tory, and Nakeiriya my review. These ladies were all extremely help
It was an absolutely streamlined process, quick and painless. The staff is very appreciative and knowledgeable and the facilities are shiny and sterile. The area is safe and secure. UPDATE: They have gone through several downgrades since I first reviewed. The staff is not all bad but most of the caring, knowledgeable staff has been replaced with petty, thirsty, unprofessional goofs that don't take their own personal hygiene as seriously as they take their appearance. They used to compensate well but not any
@unbreakable life and few others don't worry I got an email from the state attorney and Mr Manuel you can go sit down lying to these folks about reaching you..hit one or two and 0 hangs up.they violated the crown act but worse the disability act and we have alot more.don't ask a man for a piece paper to prove his address but wont look at his phone when he was asked to have a piece of paper signed saying his right eye was benign but you wanted to look at his phone for proof of address but not proof of his d
The placed was packed but they were fast and friendly!!! I wanted to donate plans because it saves lives and helps people but the other place I attempted before were so rude that I almost gave up then I tried freedom and their team has made the experience so comfortable and work while!! They have awesome phlebotomist and they ensure you a comfortable experience!! Highly recommended!!!
I have been a fateful doner for almost a year but last week something happened with the machine and I was kicked out for 56 days. I told them that something was wrong with the machine when I first started but they just kept adjusting the needle.i am on disability and I use this to supplement it but through no fault of mine I can't donate anywhere. I just lost for words and I hope and pray that the techs start listening to the client and that this doesn't happen to anyone else
Kourtney needs a raise! She goes above and beyond to make sure the people that come in are comfortable and happy. She has a positive attitude and i have never seen her with a frown on her face.
I was at freedom Plasma Friday and this lady got scared or something she started shouting, But Freedom Plasma worker was there on the spot they calm her down fan her made sure she was alright,I got to give all of Freedom Plasma worker a standing ovation they was good even the other one fill in and help out.I will keep come to Freedom Plasma they are Professional in there Field
Chelsea is very unprofessional don't know how to take vitals she'll talk to you while taking vital then say I can't donate cause pluse to high. the so called manager crystal with the braids she was hiding her badge first thing she say to me is I'm having a bad day already she's very rude they bring there problems to work that's not right I'm trying save a life while their pushing good healthy people away their very ghetto so if u want rude service and lies that's the place to go but I'm going back to octa
Always good vibes and treats plasma donors like family. Kirstin the phlebotomist I met today has taken good care and made sure I was good during my donation 10/10 must try again
What's the point of setting appointments when you still have to wait way pass your appointment time Just pointless I swear who be running these companies and coming up with ideas
I give it a five I went and the service was fast and quick I was a donor it took me two hours to get screened and donate way to go freedom plasms I loved the fact that the workers even though they had everything set up they still made it look like they were working at all times that's how it posed to be I highly recommend them .
Don't donate here. They card services take all your money. And they are lying about the payout fees. To new donors. I donated. Pass out. To only check my card with a negative balance!!!!! You will see just try Go to octa plasma
I had a terrible experience on Saturday,my first time donating..My arm was sore the entire weekend. However, today was totally different. Thanks Teresa, you were awesome and I appreciate your professionalism. Thanks to you,I'm looking forward to donating again.
Lisa is an amazing phlebotomist. I'm just gonna ask for her by name from now on. The building is clean and the process is quick. I was done in less than an hour.
This place is horrible, the phlebotomist need to learn how to work instead of talking about their problems & social life and the language is absolutely vulgar.. the wait is so long that it's just not worth it.. soon as my new donor fee over so am I .. the hell with this place.
Yes the pay should be a lot more simply because of the amount they get from a bottle of our plasma.... between 4-5 grand a pop.
This place dumb I wear wigs they wanted me to take my wig off to take a dang picture seriously waited a hour for nothing you don't even have to do this for a driver license feel like I was being shamed for wearing a wig they said take it off or wait until I change my hair this is crazy wigs is all I wear I need to speak to the head person in charge I have donated at other places an I have never been asked to take off my hair this is a shame hated I even wasted my time.
Ruined. Prices r going up but somehow the value of finite biological material is decreased. It's barely worth the time at this point
They are just cool with me never had a problem with any of them, only had two things happen to me , everyone is human and makes mistakes, they took care of the problem immediately no harm no foul just life.
The staff is wonrder for here they always help for Ms Makayla is always help for people they make u feel like u at home I love the people here very kind and careful I always tell people bout this place
Awesome associates love the staff team work atomsphere very neat and clean I love it here highly recommend to donate there great job you guys ??????????.
Great place it was nice and clean. It used to be Fred?s and I honestly didn't even know it was there. It's good to have a plasma center in southeast Memphis.
I love coming to freedom plasma I get the best service with no Hassel in and out and the employees are always professional and nice great experience
Will not recommend they do not like females coming into their place They will find any reason to defer you and will not tell you into the next time you come and they kick you out the system completely.

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
