Customer Reviews

I donated last Fall while waiting for my seasonal job to start a few weeks later. I had a great experience. All the staff were friendly and professional. I threw away my pay card after my first visit, not knowing I had to keep it due to my misunderstanding, and they were quick to solve my issue. I never had to wait longer than ten minutes after registration to be waited on, even when it was busy.

Really frustrating experience. I received a call asking if I wanted an appointment because I was on the wait-list. I said absolutely. We made the appointment for the 7th of May. The day comes and I have an off feeling that something is wrong. I call ahead to ask about my appointment. They say I am not on the list but no problem they have an opening. Great. I drove there and going in was very anxiety inducing because I wasn't sure where to go. Only to find out I need my physical social security card? I never

Really don't like the set days you can return to donate, ALOT of grifols new policies don't make much sense you could earn up to $400 in the first month but returning donors make $460 a month. Ass backwards. If you donate on Monday and Wednesday it'll be set to those days but only if you set up an appointment? It's very redundant and ineffective especially when I call in to make sure I can donate and they tell you you can't? Very bad customer service but few nice people that work there only thing that makes

Came here today despite the bad reviews and a friend having a bad experience. I came with my ID and tax documents since it has my info on them. Since my ID has my middle initial she needed something that had my middle, so i left. I decided to check if my social security card was in my wallet and it was, so I came back. Got turned away because my middle name was spelled out and not an initial. Was told to get get a new card so it would match my ID. What a joke.??

Thank you so much for caring for me today while donating, for almost a year now I have been donating & today was the first I had a reaction of I'm guessing Vasovagal syncope. Mackenzie, Michelle, Damien, Sean and another girl(excuse me bc I can't remember her name)was right there with me during an embarrassing moment of getting sick in front of others. Even though I know it was disgusting, they however made me feel like it was ok and not to be embarrassed. The girls at the front showed concerned Brittany,

My mother and I attempted to donate plasma today at this location, when we entered everything seemed fine (other than the workers being absolutely unprofessional in the middle of the building by screaming and laughing uproariously) I proceeded with the questionnaire and made sure to diligently check the approved medications page (because like most people I take several (4) prescriptions. None of my scripts were on this page, and everything seemed to be going along perfectly. I go to the exam room to speak w

Places filled with Receptionist and nurses with attitudes. Place really needs to be shut down along with the one in Zanesville. If The so-called professionals are just going to be lazy and rude with people. That are donating their plasma in time to come in and help People. They need to really find another profession.

Been donating there for over a year and there's a tech there that has messed up a couple people and got them deferred for her mistake. They tell you they will pay you. Then don't. After these 59 days she got me deferred I won't go back. Their policy sucks, people mess up.

A well oiled machine. I have successfully donated twice at this center and both times have been a great experience. The first time I donated, it was about 3 hours for everything but that is normal for a new donor because of the exams and questionnaires. Even in that 3 hours, the staff was never stopped, and I was pushed through very efficiently. The manager for that morning was Erinn and she was doing a wonderful job between being on the floor with her staff and doing her other duties in the cold room and t

I've absolutely had it with the female workers loudly talking trash about my fiance, I bet they wouldn't talk smack in front of her. If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all

Every person who works here is friendly and knowledgeable! They take great care of each donor and take the time to make them as comfortable with the donation process as possible

Logan ,Amanda and the young blond Kaylee maybe are wonderful ???? they enjoy there job treat the patients great and hands down know what they're doing And how to do so very well !they all deserve raises and showed appreciation!!!

In 2023, the FDA changed guidelines for gay and bi men to donate but this place has not followed those protocols and are still not letting men donate if they answer yes. What is the most upsetting, is that I called before I tried to donate and was told, "I don't see why you couldn't just because you're gay." Then I get there and was pulled aside and told I am banned for life!

Regular donor at this location. Friendly and professional techs. Becca and Lori in particular are absolutely awesome! Today however... had an interaction with a supervisor named Daphne, she was completely unprofessional. Didn't want to walk the 10 feet to answer my tech's question was rude to the techs on the floor and a complete snot to me. I was really surprised such an unprofessional and rude person would be employed at Freedom. She would have been fired on the spot for the way she spoke to co-workers an

I have been donating a little over 4 months now. Shout out to Alexis, Carol, McKenzie, Daniel an Tyree for always being so welcoming and doing their job successfully even when it gets exhausting on some days. Also shoutout to the some what new recruit Logan. Job well done to all staff! Kindness goes a long way.

Really really nice people there, very clean and the process was super easy. Being a veteran they give extra incentive which is great. Donate a few times and there's Christmas money. Recommend them very much.

I have been here 6 times now. I have been turned around every time. Today I have had enough. I am out of gas and broke trying to donate. Someone needs to know what they're doing upfront and direct someone correctly the first time. This time I'm turned away because I don't have my social on me. When it wasn't mentioned the other 5 times I was turned away. I'm stuck in the parking lot out of gas because they need to look at peice a paper for a half second. So if your reading this and need to know something, j

My experiences with Freedom Plasma have always been positive. The staff are friendly, professional and polite. It's nice to have a place locally to earn a few extra dollars and provide necessary plasma to those in need as well. Have and will recommend to others.

Brianna is awesome on the needle! Better than any place in Columbus! Edit: having trouble getting seen? Try setting up an appointment for the next time before you leave the first donation. Helps the process

Freedom Plasma in Newark, O.H. has the best staff! All of their Phlebotomist are both professional and friendly! Every visit, I feel like I am in good hands, it is very reassuring. Highly recommend!

Very unprofessional especially the manager trye and He doesn't respect his staff and He tries to act like a bully to clients.

Freedom plazma is a great place to donate to help others out. The staff is absolutely professional and sweet. I look forward to going in and donate and to see all the smiles on the lady's faces. There all great at there jobs.

Environment is clean, process is streamlined, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, CARING, and more than accommodating. They genuinely care about their job. The payment card is awkward, but when I asked, they let me know about an atm I could get the cash out with no charge.

The phlebotomist at this location will mess you up, possibly for months or permanently. They are inexperienced, incompetent, and unprofessional. I've seen multiple people get injured at this location aswell as my wife on separate occasions before I was injured at this very location myself. They are rude, targeting people they don't like and professionals at deffering people over anything if not nothing. This is a warning ?? to anyone that is thinking about donating at this specific center (Do Not Donate Her

There donate amounts are not as good as other places. Along with there ridiculous policies on when you can donate. I went Wednesday and Friday one week and Wednesday and Saturday another. I showed up to donate and they told me no because I had to wait until Saturday since the week before I went Wednesday and Saturday. On their website, it only states that you need 24 hours in between donations. It says absolutely nothing about dictating which days you are allowed to go and that you will have to follow a cer

Very unsatisfied. Walked all the way there so I could get my daughter something for her birthday because we just moved. And they denied me because my social has my full middle name and my ID has an initial. The lady who did the computer check wasn't very kind either. Acted like she didn't care

Very clean and friendly staff. Saw the low star review but decided to come anyways. Very happy i did. 100$ for first 6 donations for new customers. Only collect 800 ml also so goes faster. New machines with an easy to read count down clock! Definitely recommend coming to this place!!!!

No saleen to replace plasma for months wtf how is this place running without saleen not only that I have not been paid yet for my last donation..I need my money now I'll be down there today

They are always running late up to an hour. Their regulations say you have to wait 24 hours between donations, but then they say you have set days. Drove all the way there with 72 hours between donations and was told it wasn't my day after they system let me book an appointment.

They denied me because I couldn't read and told me to go back to school even though I'm a high school graduate and then proceeded to tell me that I need to make better life choices even though I can't read that well

Been donating since they opened up. Becca and Lori are absolutely amazing. Always so friendly and asking if I need anything. Very welcoming and friendly.

So I can't sit in there while my mother Donate plasma! I am 24 years old and my mother is 44 years old. I can't be in the building because I don't look old enough. This place has so much discrimination against people with baby faces. Very unprofessional!

I don't like the girl Lori who works there she messed up my girlfriend and I needle

Pay ain't worth it anymore. You'll be there for an hour before you even get a bed and then it depends on how slow all the workers go. Logan moves with no urgency. I would absolutely recommend donating at another facility.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Freedom Plasma. During my visit, the phlebotomist jerked the needle out of my arm, causing significant pain. Needing the money, I returned, only to notice that the cameras are placed in the middle of the aisle ways, not directly over the beds. This placement makes it easy for someone to intentionally hurt donors while staying in plain view of the cameras, yet with a distorted enough view to hide their actions. This is unsafe and unacceptable. I urge Freedom Plasma to im

I haven't been here yet, but I hope that these hours change to later in the day 3pm seems exceptionally early to close. I have previously donated to csl plasma in Columbus and they close at 6 and I believe more freedom plasmas close later as well. Please stay open at least a couple week days to make it more available to those that work during the day

Been going to this location for a little under a year now and have always had a good experience with all the staff there. Had very few issues with donating and the pay is reasonable.

If I could I would do zero stars my gf was told when my gf first called in that she would have a pament within a hour it has been a little over a hour and still no payment so she called in and now they are saying it can be anywhere from 4:30 or 5 and they also blowen her vain and hit a nurve also

Made an appointment to donate. Drove 30 minutes there with ssn card, license and utility bill. They claimed I'm not eligible to donate because my ssn card doesn't have my middle name, but the drivers license does, their "system won't accept it until the end of the month". So, magically in a week the same documents will work?? WASTE OF TIME

Great experience everytime I have donated. The staff is very friendly, very skilled and very knowledgeable. My donations have always been pleasurable with many laughs as the staff has treated me like a friend, if you want to make a difference in someone's life and make a few dollars at the same time, I highly recommend Freedom Plasma.

This is a brand new, newly trained plasma donation facility. It is clean and the employees are friendly. Still getting into the specifics of training and what to do, ask for, and help better serve donors. I have donated at CSL plasma and Octo-pharmacy in CBUS before, and this place is smaller and pays less than them. It serves the Newark, Heath, Utica region and pays according to area. I'm glad to have it and donate as I live locally in Newark 6 blocks south of the location and glad I don't have to drive 30

A lot of these negative reviews I cannot speak of but from my personal experience it is very nice very clean the pay is very decent though it does drop down after a certain point and at the point I'm writing this review it could change there is one truth their debit card is very awkward with their fees that's the only thing that makes me not put a five-star review staff's pretty nice though and answer any question with confidence

Love coming here staff is great even when it's busy they are always rocking it thanks Becca, Lexi twins, Daphne, Carol, Taylor and the rest of you guys for putting up with my shenanigans

This is by far the nicest plasma center I have ever been to! Everybody is incredibly nice and great at their job. I also have veins that roll and they are awesome at getting it every time. Won't go anywhere else

I'm so glad I have a much closer place to donate. Especially as cool as everyone is. Daphne and Bri are the best there, everyone is great and you get done fast!

Have donated several times. All were fine until today. Stuck several times, when I told the staff I was in pain, they did not do anything about it.

I spent 2 hours out of my day only for someone to incorrectly enter information and their technology doesn't allow them to fix it. Would not recommend this facility. Also their touch screen kiosks do not work very well and this is a brand new facility.

Thanks for opening a place that screens for drugs, and blood born pathogens while paying your the people who donate, ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment. I'm sure this will be just like other donation centers which are focused on a safe and clean environment

Great friendly staff, actually enjoy coming here. Rebecca and Lori are amazing and will walk you through the whole process and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Everyone is always super nice and helpful. I always enjoy donating there

Staff is professional and friendly. First visit was more extensive so takes longer but otherwise visits are quick. Clean environment.

This donation center is probably the unsafest location you could go to with unprofessional, and inexperienced phlebotomist being judgemental and targeting people they don't like.

Awesome people, always friendly and smiling. They are very helpful if you have any questions and they make the time donating entertaining

They're very cheerful and make you feel very welcome and comfortable very professional

Everyone was so friendly! Corine took great care of me.

The staff is nice and awesome they make you feel welcome highly recommend it to come and donate

Very unprofessional. Low payment, and their debit card is trash. Possibly the worst donation center I've ever been to

You went through all the procedures to do that and they'll wait and tell you that if you have any surgeries that had to do with cancer they're not going to use you I've been to several plasma places in North Carolina Winston-Salem

New donor bonus is less then octapharmas return donor.. what a joke. 800 for a bottle of plasma and they wanna give you 35...

My favorite person is Rebecca she is great and very nice person

Everyone I've dealt with has been super nice an professional...

Went there to donate was refused because I had a heart Cath that came back negative 10 yrs ago

Great customer service and I never get bruised up plus the stick is almost painless. Makenzie the best

Don't go here if you weigh over 400. They won't let you donate. Despite being healthy otherwise. Waste of my time AND gas.

Good place friendly people some need help sticking people but u can ask for who u want

The hours makes it hard for some people to donate. The compensation seems low where as I can go to Columbus to rewarded more

Staff is wonderful and helpful

Thanks for making a hang out space for the Crack heads and meth heads

Everyone is great and respectful.

Judgmental disgusting people

I started Plasma donation 4 months ago. Service was quick, and employees were happy. Now that it's Grifols, I have walked out 2 times. I do not enjoy making an appointment for 5 pm and sitting for an hour, and this is before they test me to go back to donate! I love all the workers. But it seems to me they are SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. And if this doesn't get fixed, the good employees will leave. I feel bad for them. Also... I'd love to get at least 2 draws a week.
