I love this place, it's so clean & the staff literally makes my entire day. Full of love & laughter. It's a phlebotomist named Chance I believe he's so sweet gentle and kind I'd recommend him.
They're polite enough but very unprofessional at times. Conversation that's not appropriate in the setting. They also barely know what they're doing. Because of a tech issue I became penalized after they couldn't put the saline in pump blood back in me. So for the 6 staff members all trying to figure this out none had an answer. They were reading a manual and still confused about half their job. Never going back. The pay also sucks once you're a "champion" donator. It decreased 50%
I'm extremely disappointed with the service and operations at this establishment. Despite their advertised opening time of 7:00 AM, they consistently fail to open on time. Customers are left waiting outside in freezing temperatures (44?F on the day I visited), with no explanation or apology. Even once inside, the disorganization continues?supplies are often missing, and employees are rude and dismissive. It's clear that respect for customers? time is not a priority here. Appointments mean nothing, as the s
first time i came in i waited an hour and a half and got screened and did my physical just for them to deny me because they ?couldn't find my vein? which i?ve never had a nurse or doctor tell me and i?ve given blood several times. came in again today and they wouldn't let me donate because im wearing a crop top which i was also wearing one the first time i came in. i was never told there was a dresscode to donate plasma and i dont see how what im wearing effects my ability to give plasma but? ok.
Waiting for Management to come out to do a cdc and none was on the floor to help. Waited for an hour and no one still was out there so I just left. Staff did a great job but Management need to be on the floor for things like this at all times
I had previously given Freedoms five stars. The people who work here are awesome and always taking care of donors. However, I was deferred today for a workers? mistake which simply does not make sense to me. As well as my donations always taking longer due to having some CDC alert pop up when I sign in. I am still a fan of Freedoms, I just wanted to share my frustration.
Porsha did my screening process and overall it was very enjoyable. She was very friendly and talkative while also taking care of her job quickly and proficiently. Overall a great experience!
Amazing experience with a wonderful atmosphere. The nurses are friendly, polite, and very attentive to their patients. Nurse Shorty always provides an amazing with such a wonderful personality.
Porsha helped me through my screening process and was wonderful. She was informative and was such a sweet person overall!! Makes the experience so much better with workers like her.
I've been coming here for about a year now & they have always been so sweet & very attentive to me while donating! Would highly recommend ?? ask for Amanda, she gets me on the first poke everytime & talks to me to ensure that i?m comfortable ??
My experience with Shay has been great! I was welcomed in with a great and warm smile and such a friendly conversation. She helped me find what I needed to find and gave me some very helpful information. I want to always be welcome by Shay when I come to give plasma!!
Audrey was so nice. I felt as though I was being pulled across a beautiful meadow on a sleigh made of pillows. She was just the nicest human being ever. Me and my girlfriend had such a great experience.
I am a veteran who is currently attending Georgia Southern University and I came into Freedom this past week on the 15th of August because I had an appointment to begin the new donor process. I was informed by nurse Fallon that I was deferred three years prior for medication. I am aware of company policy and know that she is supposed to provide me paperwork to bring into my doctor to get cleared for that medication. Now nurse Fallon did not want to give me that paperwork originally, in fact when she told me
It's a must I brag on one of my favorite screeners Sharay ..she's sooo nice and always had the most beautiful smile ! Always greets everyone with a smile and I can tell she loves what she do ! Big shout out to her and Rasheed who also always been a friendly face when I come to the center as well !
Absolutely love this. Place the people there are so nice and I absolutely adore Mrs. Fallon. 10/10 Lots of really nice people that work there.
This place worked me in rather quickly from the time that i entered and made sure that i was good during the process. Fallon was really nice when conduction the final step of the process
Miss Fallon was very sweet and kind! She helped me throughout the physical to understand the process and the reasoning for my visit here at plasma!! If she doesn't receive a 40$ raise i will riot.
Sheen is incredible I am such a hard stick and he always makes me feel so comfortable and makes the process so easy and painless! The staff is all wonderful but Sheen goes above and beyond! Thank you love!
When I first started going to Freedom Plasma, I was scared because it was something new. As soon as I walked in the staff greeted me and welcomed me in. I have had a good experience each time I go and the staff makes sure i am taken care of and shows interaction . I do have a few staff members that I personally love and feel attached to (make me feel comfortable) when I get there. Shae, Tina, Cleftina, Marrisa, and Italy always find a way to put a smile on my face when I am there or a reason to give me a go
I Love the staff friendliness, laughter and love. Great communication and they all work as a team. Big Shay, Fallon, RaSheen, Shaquita, Miss Tina, Shae, Indi and Charlie they all are very polite. Great personalities and really enjoy the atmosphere. I even enjoy Family Fued while pumping ??. Thanks to you all.
Porsha, the Donor center tech, was amazing! Each time she sticks my finger for protein, I don't feel it! She's amazing at what she does, because everyone else sticks me and I feel it... For about a week afterwards lol And Jessica, the phlebotomist on the floor, is amazing as well! The whole staff is super friendly!
I'm a regular donor here and the experience has always been amazing. I was actually trying to reach out to one of the managers in regards to an employment application. I'm having some issues with the online system. Could someone reach back out to me please?
Great experience?. Nurse Shay was fabulous she explained everything I needed to know and also answered ALL of my questions I really appreciate her to the fullest?. Great nurse!!!
I would like our community know that the plasma center is an excellent place to be. I love when I first started going there nurse Shay makes you feel welcome like I knew her my whole life but I just met her by going there. Very good customer service. Let's not forget about our great phlebotomists Mr.Rasheen and Ms.Tina.
Rudest employees ever. Thought this was a way to help people? you would think employees would be kind and courteous to people coming to donate. I've been about five times and EVERY trip is a bad experience in one form or another. Go donate at Grifols Plasma Center if you want to donate?. I will never go back to Freedom.
Shae! She has the absolute best personality from a person you want to greet you and make you feel comfortable! Warm and talkative. Don't think she ever meets s a stranger!
Polia was nice and helpful. She got in and sited real quick with no problem. When I come back, I would like her to get sited again
Don't complain about excruciating pain because they will ignore you for 30 minutes then defer you for 30 days without giving me my blood back or making sure I was okay. If you don't want to work around ppl and have human decency then go find a new job.
Everytime I come in Sharay always has gave the best customer service smiling and showing how much she loves what she do ! Keep up the amazing work.
After being disconnected I noticed my phlebotomist, I believe her name was amanda, immediately go to the person next to me and start disconnecting them without changing her gloves. Thats a serious health hazard and can lead to someone becoming infected with contaminated blood.
Really helpful for others and myself. Thankfully freedom plasma helped me with so much and are very caring people , like one phlebotomist named Fallon always cheering me on. It's tough at first but worth it in the long run .
Had to wait a while as a first time donor, but the ladies were working hard to get people back in a timely manner. Everyone was very kind. Shaqueta settled my nerves and was very gentle with the needlestick?barely felt it!
Fallon is always nice and she lightens up my day everytime I come in.
Porsha is amazing! She is always nice and energetic! She always goes out of her way to make me comfortable during my donation!
I had a appointment at 4pm today and I live 45 to 50 miles away. I get to freedom at 3:52pm and go to walk in and the door is locked. A fellow donor was outside and said the internet is acting up and that they where gonna let the ones in there now donate but everyone else is out of luck. So I call the manager and told her I came all the way from Swainsboro and that I'm on empty now and I needed thos money to help get me home.she told me that I shouldn't have came there on empty because there's no guarantee
I went there for my first donation, and it took them 15 minutes and 3 different ?nurses? to find my vein. They ended up incorrectly inserting the needle and could not receive enough blood for a small sample. They gave me the full compensation for a donation and told me to come back in two days. When I showed up to my next appointment, they told me I could not donate because I don't have ?suitable? veins. I have been donating blood regularly my entire life, and get blood work done every six months at my prim
Fallon was amazing super informative light humor and caring. Made first visit a pleasure.
They are usually good about cleaning the headrest but today, one lady didn't clean the headrest. I saw her not clean it.
Mrs Tina has excellent customer service during screening time makes your screening go by smoothly. Always has a smile
I LOVE PORSHA. She is so nice and friendly and always answers any of my questions. She is by far my favorite.
Fallon is a wonderful person that has taken care of me for a whole year
I had a great experience at Freedoms. Was a great environment and I also received great customer service from Fallon.
I love freedom the support of them as well as patience Shen always have a smile with a greeting very hard worker that never made mistakes quick comfortable stick he fits perfect here ??????
The first time I called this place and set an appointment just for me to get there and they say an appointment was never set even though they could see that I called. That was very frustrating and I'm not sure whether to call them or not because the website doesn't have an area for you to schedule an appointment. Everytime I call now I don't get an answer.
Amanda is by far my favorite one of the workers, she always has a calming friendly mood and never rushes putting the needle in
Great service, they are so sweet and patient with you. They make sure your questions Are answered and you have an easy process.
I have actually grown to like the place ? it's very well organized and they try to get in and out as possible .. I'm thankful for the services they provide and any help is better than any when I can give .. The pay can be a little more especially when your getting stuck twice by hand and then the Iv .. The money comes in handy every other three days which is a big HELP .. Can't knock it until you try it .. It's basically like going to the doctor ???????other than that the staff is friendly and welcomed and
Rasheen is always very professional and friendly with every interaction. He makes the setting feel warm and keeps me returning to the Plasma facility to help those in need??
I went to Freedom Plasma On July 4th the lady inserted the needle into my right arm before she inserted it I told her some can't get this vein u half to be good in order to.She smiled and proceeded After she inserted it I said it burns she said let's see how it does 10 minutes later I called her and told her it hurts she pulled some if the needle out and proceeded and I told her again it hurts by then the first cycle ended. Once the return started the machine said high return then my vein started swellin
Sophia is literally the best! i am scared of needles and when i told her she was understanding stuck me quickly got me in and out to avoid discomfort!!! literally the sweetest person ever!!! She deserves a raise!!
Its usually very professional and everyones nice. Wish the needle was smaller but overall its not the worst
Fallon was very professional. Good mood and was very good about doing her job. She was very through with the physical procedure.
Nurse Shay was honestly such a big help and made this whole process for me so easy and she also answered all my questions. Highly recommend!
When Rasheen sticks my arm, I never feel it! He's excellent, professional, and has great energy!! I'm gonna always keep coming back!
I didn't get to Donate today, but will be doing it on Friday. I gave it a 5 Star rating cause the other 2 People that rode with Me were able to Donate today & said it wasn't a Bad Experience at all. I'll update My review on here as soon as I make My 1st Donation! Update: I finally was able to Donate and this Wednesday coming up will be My 4th time Donating. I'm done and over with the Donation in like 25 minutes. Good Experience everytime and the Staff is so Wonderful.
The staff here are friendly and even when life happens, I can never tell when I come in; everyone is always professional!
I have been coming to Freedom Plasma?s Statesboro location off and on for about a year and a half. I always enjoy meeting and talking to the staff. They are friendly and personable. They are also very knowledgeable about the plasma process from beginning to end. When they first began scheduling appointments, one of the ladies up front actually helped me set up my account. This was so very helpful to me. I appreciated the time she took to get me started with the new scheduling process. I have been deferr
I gave blood twice ... Then the third time they said there was a problem and I'd only get $10 bucks to give half the amount of blood... Probably because I may have been a little dehydrated or something but my blood was good enough first 2 times I haven't done anything different.. $10 bucks won't cover my gas for the drive there.... And I would have had too wait 2 hours for 10 bucks... Yeah wright... I went to make $115 and it was just a waste of time and gas ... How did I give blood twice and then my blood
Just because I dont live in a certain zip code (30470) I cant donate. This is ridiculous to know. As many people that can benefit from donations they should allow all willing donors. You told me someone would contact me back and that hasnt happened.
Porch is a loving friendly person that I don't mind coming in on the days that she work and she always have a smile on her face and I love that about her
Brooke an Fallon was great an Brooke was the best person who ever stuck me in statesboro ga
Mrs Fallon is great lady, always super nice and attentive!
Today I donated at freedom they were short staffed but the staff that was there were working diligently and hard big shout out to rasheen he is quick thorough and good at what he does I am a short patience person but even though they were short it was still a delightful visit
I absolutely love the staff at this location. They are so sweet & professional. I have donated about 10 times at this point and have never had an unpleasant experience.
I went in for my 2nd donation the process was suppose to take 30 -45 min maybe not including the check in?it took 1:30 min for the nurses to get me screened before I could even sit on the bed to start donating. I sat an watch for almost an hr while the two nurses walked back a forth procrastinating and taking naps. I didn't get to donate today an to be honest I'll probably never go back to freedom I hate wasted time and energy an that's exactly what happen today.
Fallon is very great at what she does n very professional. She very good at her job.
Tried to make an appointment was put on hold multiple times and had to explain over and over again I was trying to be a first time donor and then they find a reason that I never had so I couldn't donate? I should have listened to the other reviews.
I like when I get to my appointment the processing and screening is finished pretty fast. Very nice staff
Ms. Fallon the physician substitute was very nice and helpful. She answered all of my questions respectfully and honestly.
Ms.Myers is always so friendly and helpful during every visit. I love this place! Definitely deserves a 10/10
Fallon Hayes helped me resolve my issue of almost not being able donate , I really appreciate her beautiful soul for helping me
Fallon done great. She was very gentle. She is always in good spirits.
Fallon always make sure i am taken care of! I come twice a week every week!
Brooke is the best phlebotomist I don't know how she does it, but she sticks me perfectly and you don't even know she stuck you
I had a bad experience. So I show up at 12 noon to donate the girl at front said I our nurse takes a break and comes back at 1. I returned at 1 only to be told by another girl tht I it will be 2 oclk . The place didn't seem to care about new donors. But I will stick with Boimat
Dee was such a great person she made my visit comfortable and was a perfect stick
Big Shay Is A Wonderful Person When It Come Down To Making Sure The Floor Is Clear I Always See her In Every position
I loved giving plasma here. Fallon is fantastic and she makes the process enjoyable and less stressful.
They're short staffed sometimes but, everytime I went everyone was always nice to me. Friendly staff and great service

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
