So, first I will mention the positive, the staff are nice and polite, helpful. Thomas who screened me was polite and helpful. And Kate my phabotmosist was Considerate and actually let me use my phone so I could talk to my Wife while I donated!

We need to be able to rate them with 0 stars Freedom Plasma does not exist anymore it is now Grifols Plasma and they are as rude and unprofessional as a place could be. They don't explain what you need to do as a new donor and nobody talks to you what the next step is or the staff to each other so everyone is lost. They do not care about Vets or First responders the website says they give a bonus every time you donate but they don't and said that they were bought out by through the day Grifols and the compa

Freedom was in my opinion the best place for plasma donations in Wichita. However another company took over and things have changed for the worst. Mostly the payouts. They were the highest paying donation center now one of the lowest. The new company ended the Veteran bonus. The staff is still the same staff and do their best to get you in and out in a kind and courteous manner. But hey let's face it most of us are doing this for extra money to pay bills not for the friendly faces.

Had a visit scheduled for today this afternoon. I received a call this morning from freedom, I called back a dozen times no answer, only for them to finally answer and let me know they close early. Now instead of 75 I have to go Monday and only get 45. Unprofessional at it finest if I could give zero stars I would.

Very unprofessional and do not understand what they're doing whatsoever. The employees take you through so much when it could?ve been avoided and stated at the beginning. So extra and unnecessary. I recommend going to a different plasma donation center.

When it was Freedom you can see down in the reviews they actually took the time to respond to all of these. Now that it is Grifols you don't see anything. The wait times are a lot longer now with having to wait an hour for a bed sometimes. No Veteran bonus anymore and the rates continue to go down. Grifols was awful hence why we came to Freedom and now we are stuck with their management again.

extremely unprofessional and slow, employees will have full blown conversations with other employees instead of doing their job which in turn makes me have to wait even longer. donors should have your full undivided attention if we have an appointment instead of ignoring us completely and having a conversation with someone that's completely irrelevant.

As soon as Grifols took over, they lowered compensation and withdraw more plasma from you. The only saving grace to this place is the incredible staff from the original freedom crew.

When it wasn't owned by Grifols it was coo but now that Grifols owns them it's downhill from here. They routinely cut donor pay outs. Grifols creates a work culture that is deflective of responsibility and accountability. The phlebotomist will become irritable and less productive. Grifols is attempting to buy out any competition to their donor pay outs. If u ask for a customer complaint number they give u one that's connected to a sex line. Real talk. Given to my by center manager. 1800 my plasma. Call it.

Just went in today it was my 5th time donating there since they were bought out by trifold and the donation pay goes from 100$ for the first 4 to 40$ each donation afterwards.

Great people. Wish we could get more Gatorade tho? always high energy and super friendly

Terrible all the way around. I was a new donor at this center and this was my first time donating here, but I've been donating for over 6 years, donated 100's of times and have been to every other donor center in Wichita and this is easily the worst one I've been to in every aspect. I really don't think it can get any worse than this. The employees all seem like a bunch of adult high school kids and gossip about eachother and the donors in front of the donors more than they work. The person that was screeni

Ashley is amazing! Everyone I've been helped with so far has been amazing. I typically have a difficult stick and only once have I ran into a roadblock here. Someone came up and stretched my tubes for clotting and voila back to full speed. The problem I'm speaking of is that ONE time my needle needed to be moved so of course I was paranoid about digging and bruising, but she found it quick and the small bit of bruising I had from it (no pain btw) was excused the next time I came in

Don't let one bad apple spoil the Orchard. I am a soft spoken, empathetic and respectful person. But I am also a man. If you approach me with an aggressive stance and tone telling me to ?Get off my phone? I will take it personally, because I would never have done the same thing to you. I saw her as a threat period. General manager was amazing, Jessica was fantastic and Monique was understanding and very pleasant. I do not know the floor staffs name that did this. Shaye, maybe? Ebony women with blond braids.

I appreciate how courteous the screener and the phabotmist are. Katie has got a great friendly demeanor. I don't appreciate Griffols lowering the pay again now from 80 to 75 and $45. It was $100 and $45 before Griffols bought Freedom out! Changes are happening and not for the good!

Honestly this place had some of the nicest, sweetest, most empathetic people I have ever seen. They were friendly before i started and then durring I had issues. Like every symptom listed. every single person that helped me showed me compassion. Needless to say I probably won't be going back but that's not because of the place that's because of me ??

They lowered the donor fees, without notice. Now, those that donate the least amount of units make the same as those that donate the most amount of units. If you're going to lower the fee and pay everyone the same, we should all be donating the same amount of units.

I tried this place to take advantage of the high new donor fees but this place is not it. You make an appointment and still wait 1-3hrs to donate. Multiple people complain about how the Phelbs are unskilled at sticking. On my second donation my vitals were fine until this lady retook my BP and raised my pulse each time. Due to irritation and then I had to wait to rescreen. Most of the workers have attitudes and now I see why the reviews are all over the place here and mainly negative. Also they are always

First I want to say that I definitely am very upset because I was scheduled for an appointment at 8am and someone from freedom called me and did they re short staffed that they may compensate me for not being able to donate. Realize they only pay 45 first visit of the week and then 100 the second time. Today was supposed to be a 100 for me and last day of the week. I asked if I rescheduled on Monday would I still get the 100 and she said no. Well not only did I come to this place from another place that now

The more donations you make the worse they treat you. Half the time you leave with bruising or blood running profusely from the puncture. I rate at 1 Star since you can't rate at zero stars. Messy and janky is my best description and I don't know what to say about the restroom...an abandoned highway rest stop is cleaner than Freedom's restroom

Katie has gone above and beyond to make my donations pleasant. She's always helpful and always has a smile on her face. I hope there are more employees at freedom like Katie.

I'd give a zero if I could. I've gone here almost two years regularly. All of a sudden they lowered the payouts. It's completely unfair to those who aren't basically overweight. I can't gain weight and apparently that's reason enough to pay me less. Don't be surprised if most people never return. I know I won't unless the payments are fixed. This place even contacted me saying the payments would be fixed and in two months haven't followed through. This new corporate deal is the worst thing they could have d

This place is a joke, don't bother wasting your time. UNProfessional employees to busy playing to do their job.

I had an appointment Friday for my second appointment of the week and they called me and said they had to cancel my appointment. They were completely booked Saturday and couldn't get me in. The lady told me to make an appointment right away Monday and that they would make it right because it was their fault. So I got a babysitter so I could come in Monday and when I got there I asked to speak to a manager and all they would do is a $20 card. So I missed out on $100 and had to pay some one to watch my daught

Yeah they pay the most but good luck with an appointment. They can't keep track or a order to save a life. Its a joke I waited a full hour to be passed by 3 others I was ahead of because they forgot to hand my bottle sticker in

You MUST schedule an appointment, but you could still end up waiting upwards of 30 minutes to be screened. Donating is easy and essentially painless. The Phlebotomists are all trained well & do their best to not cause pain. The center is always clean and welcoming too.

Super rude staff, reminds me of the dmv in other states. Apparently they arent taking new donors until feb 2025, ive never heard of that before from a plasma center....guess ill go to csl or octs.

Very unprofessional & degrading center manager Marco-- this was one of the best plasma donation opportunities in the city until he took over. I can tell a large difference in how we are treated, site cleanliness, payment decrease but most importantly WRONG INFORMATION. I was deferred from donating because they notated I "spilled blood on multiple people", which never happened. Because if this had actually happened last time I donated, then how come no one informed me that there was a problem?? The online sc

The staff was very informative and was able to answer any questions I had. They were all very friendly. My first time going, I had started getting lightheaded and hot during the process of donating and the staff immediately helped relieve those symptoms. I was fine after that and was able to continue. I will definitely recommend them and I will be going back.

This place is getting worse and worse. Constantly closing without informing anyone, who HAS an appointment. So not only do you waste gas, you missout on your second donation of the week. This has happened to me several times. Not sure how long they are gonna stay in business conducting business like this

Horrible experience. My first time was ok but took double the time for my donation. I don't know if it's there machine. I go to CSL it take me 29 minutes with their old machines. I go to Freedom and takes me 46 min. My second and third they messed up my veins causing a big welt and bruising for weeks. The second time the manager made the excuse that the employee was having personal issues and having bad day. The third time they promised to use extra care and be gentle. Again they caused a big lump in my vei

They're great as long as you get in at the beginning of the day. If you schedule later in the day they can call and cancel you and if it's your second appointment of the week there's a good chance they're booked up the rest of the week and you won't be able to get your second appointment. The second appointment is worth a lot more money and they don't compensate you for that even though it's on them that you couldn't donate.

Drove 30 minutes to try to donate and was informed that they stop taking new donors at 5PM on weekdays and noon on Saturday? I received no notice of this when I called to check what to bring with me. As a person that weeks 8-5 everyday this makes it impossible for me to be able to donate. Extremely disappointed.

They will have a friendly attitude. That's the only positive thing I have to say. First time will take 2 hours is a total lie. I spent two hours there, during which the staff members sat around making jokes. After 2 hours they told me that based on information they had in their possession for over an hour they could not let me donate. I chose the word friendly instead of nice because there is nothing nice about treating people like their time has no value just because they are in need of money.

I don't know if they're not training their people correctly or what the deal is but they keep missing the spot in my vein that's been used before or they go in too far. They're constantly just standing around talking and when they're sticking people they still continue to be distracted by conversating with each other. They have a scheduling setup now and that sounds like a good idea but with how lazy they get it gets behind and they start calling to canceling people from coming in. Realistically thet have a

If i could give this place ZERO STARS i definitely would I'm sitting in the chair as I'm typing this paragraph what is the point in scheduling an appointment just to be seen hours later. i came in Here at 7:51 am didn't sit down in a damn chair till 9:20 i was screened and the lady didn't even tell me i was seeing a doctor so i sat in the lobby for 45 min until i got up and had to ask them when i will be seen and it still took them a whole 45 min just for them to find me a seat after i asked multiple times

This place is so much better than all of the plasma centers here in Wichita. They are faster and more organized and I love that I can set an appointment before my next donation. The staff are great and one of my favorite staff from another plasma place works here as well.

I have been here twice to try to become a new donor and I wasted 2 hours only to find out that I cannot donate. I had a surgery on my arm over a year ago and because it looked ?pink? the ?doctor? said I needed a doctors note to donate. This is ridiculous. I had the surgery and have been donating at Biomat ever since. I would not recommend anyone go here if you have visible scars from surgery because the doctor will not take your word and ask for proof which is completely ridiculous to me. He won't even wal

This is the best donation place hands down. I have been all over the donation centers in wichita ks and have never had such a pleasant, easy, and amazing experience!! I have always had issues being poked and always have to have numerous adjustments or I get deferred because they told me they couldn't find my veins. I went here and they poked me instantly with no issues, had to have no adjustments, and the donation process went beautifully. The staff are all super sweet and they were all very nice and pleasa

Out of all the plasma centers here in Wichita, Freedom is the best one. Staff is friendly, the center is clean. The only reason for the 4 stars is why make an appointment if you still have to wait almost an hour to get screened.

This was my first time donating and I didn't know what to expect. I dealt with six different staff members during my visit, and each one was very professional and pleasant. I started to feel sick towards the end of the process, and they worked quickly to resolve my symptoms and make sure I was ok, all while being very friendly.

Although I really love going to this place, the workers are usually pleasant? I won't be returning to Freedom due to the drastic drop of the donation pay outs today. I went from being able to make $140 in a week to a mear $90 in a week, considering they base the payout by weight now. Very unfortunate for the LOYAL return donors.

This place is a joke. Two days in a row I drove clear over from Maize Rd. On Monday they explained that they don't take walk ins Saturday or Monday. On Tuesday they said I would have to make an appointment. So why the hell didn't they offer to set up an appointment when I was there Monday? I won't be wasting any more time with them.

Its an ok place to donate. The two employees that stuck out to me is Dorothy and Ann maerie they are very nice and cordial. Dorothy is very good at conflict resolution and she was a very good sticker. The downside is crystal stick hurted and was a little painful and was kind of rude and had an attitude at the beginning she's not too good with dealing with difficult customers. So I suggest if your difficult or hard to please don't have her. I expected a smile and nice gestures like Dorothy and Ann Marie did.

Seemed like it would be cool, until my nurse came over it was this chunky girl named Sadie. She was sooo rude and mean. She was talking about how it would be great if trump built the wall and all the Mexicans were kicked off ?her land?, then her coworker Tabby agreed with her and they went on a whole racist rant. Being a Mexican American that comes from a family of immigrants I was completely shocked, I wish I would have known before they took my plasma. I have never been treated with such disrespect from t

They do an awesome job. I've been to at least a couple other places to donate in town and they either mest My arm up or had horrible customer service. The manager chad is a great guy everytime I see him he's so nice and respectful to everyone. And frank there is amazing he needs a pay raise lol.

This place is nice really nice people they are like my family only problem I had was I had this woman twice and she never asked me if I can have idione but I got that taken care of if anyone wants to give blood come here the two helpful people are Ryan and Zoe they helped me out alot they should get a raise the sec guard should get a raise to they do a great job

Would have given 5 stars, but they changed their compensation (without telling even the staff til day of) so that if you weigh less that 175 you get significantly less than you did. The saff is all great tho and have handled the companies short comings well. Very clean facility too.

I've had a few mishaps during my appts but they always make it right or figure out how to work with you. Francisco is a great help, makes the process fast and super nice and funny. Definitely recommend coming here!

This place is great! I went on a Saturday. It was my first time. I walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. The building was clean and brightly lit. I was really nervous because Ive heard horror stories (not about this place but about the donation process in general at other donation centers) but EVERYONE was really nice, really knowledgeable, and reassured me through the whole process. Ozzy, Eric, Shay, the woman at the front desk, the guy who's chair I donated from, the other techs/phlebotomists who

Change the automated system to state the correct time new donors need to arrive. The automated system says for new donors to be there by 6. I drove from 30 min away to donate, arriving at 5:45 and was turned away.

Just the worst!!!! I have NEVER been to a place that was so unprofessional , rude and just downright Nasty individual. This place is in the business of providing safe and effective medication for sick patients? I would never attempt or set foot in any of these establishment again in any state.

The staff there is very unprofessional, they spend more time in groups of 3 gossiping & laughing, Rather than tending to the Donors. Many of them have attitudes, and they cater to the female Donors and try their Best to Disregard the male Donors. If a male has a gripe about anything, they'll try to create a narrative as if he's the Problem - Bottom line, Freedom plasma is trash simply because they have garbage operating the facility.

I have been going there over a year. It goes great till you get 2 failed protein level results and have to get a doctors note? I got a doctors note, but that still wasnt good enough they need one from THEM signed?fine I got that signed and uhooo there's a note on the bottom can't have that. So now they need the exact same note signed without a note on the bottom (note just states my protein levels)? make sense to anyone? I'm sorry but it's wasting my time, my doctors time, and your companies time.

Yea I don't appreciate the girl Ashley going to management and COMPLETELY LYING on me talking bout I was smoking a vape while waiting to get poked I don't even smoke. Then Shay called me all in the office talking bout give me your vape somebody told me u was smoking. Wasnt nobody but Ashley cause i saw them talking. Very unprofessional!! Jus be careful u might get LIED on!

I went yesterday and donated at freedom plasma it was my first time yes I am not one for needles but it wasn't bad at all and I didn't feel the needle the staff was very great at getting everything prepared they were wonderful I had a little bit of an episode in the middle where I felt weak and I let them know they were very quick to get the situation under control and get me comfortable and taken care of. Thank you Freedom plasma

We all know plasma centers could be offering MUCH HIGHER payments for donors and we should definitely push them to do so?it's worth considering incorporating this idea in YOUR own review as well. But beyond this obvious critique, Freedom Plasma has a LOT to learn about more efficiently handling their donors. The waiting time for a return (not new) donor is still shockingly long in comparison to other plasma centers. It seems they need more staff & plasma machines and if they don't address these issues ver

I came into the wichita kansas, center on 7/26/2024. Dee was the phlebotomist that stuck me in my right arm. I'm bracing to be stuck with the needle and B4 I realized Dee already had the needle in my arm. Dee is the best phlebotomist that Freedom Plasma has. When I came in on Wednesday 7/24/2024 and also on Friday 7/26/2024, Katie the phlebotomist/screener, Katie screened me both days. On Wednesday I needed a little extra help walking since I didn't have my Cane with me. Katie was amazing ty Katie. Stacy t

I donate Plasma because I have seen first hand how it can save lives. From Medications to vital fluids. Saying that, I have donated at every location in Wichita, Freedom Plasma by far is the most professional, relaxing, and quickest from start to finish of all Plasma donating facilities in Wichita. I will not go to any other location again.

I'm making this post from the bed. I waited here, in a bed, to be plugged in for 1 hour before anyone got to me. I'm sure your asking? "Why didn't you tell someone?" Well that's because you risk being kicked out for telling the staff anything or your wrong. Just terrible service, I mean they are taking MY PLASMA! You'd think they would respect clients.

Great place to donate but they need to expand the seating area so ppl can sit on the busy times of the day. And there fees are higher than any where else in Wichita. Very organized and clean so if you need to earn extra cash please stop in and donate at freedom plasma.

So it's hard to stick me and once I've been stuck I've never been able to be restuck and it work. Always have I had to be sent home lol. However today Shay done the job and it didn't even hurt. This truly is an awesome place the staff if wonderful and it's really clean and fast

Facility is clean. But the wait process for returning donors is long. There isn't many beds. Hours are horrible for the working class people they are open 9-5 and closed Sundays and Mondays so good luck finding time to get in. New donor process was easy and not too long.

By far one of the cleanest donation centers I have seen. The staff here are amazing, extremely professional and very well educated. Any questions you may have, they have an answer and if they don't, they find out for you. It's a great atmosphere to donate in. 20/10 highly recommend.

I started donating here two weeks ago....I was blown away with the amazing center it is!! So clean, very friendly and professional staff, and most of all I was very happy to see Shaye working there...she knows my tricky veins very well and with her I always have a successful pleasant donation.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean facilities and they are fast. Usually in and out in about an hour. Would highly recommend going there. Pay isn't to bad either.

Waited over 90 minutes just to be screened. Then was unable to donate because my hemacrit level was 36 not 38. The longest wait to be screened at octa pharma for me was 20 minutes. Was not compensated at all for my time. Will not be back.

What is the point of having an appointment and having to wait over 45 mins now to just have someone stick me? Started to help me but then had to do 3 disconnects before anyone even helped me?. Highly irritated with how the employees treated me this visit.

Went to donate today for my 100$ day and too many people called in so they had to close?Great!! All the way there at 730 on the morning to be turned away

New owners have ruined this place not even worth going anymore

I've been doing plasma for years. Been to Octapharma, CSL, and now Freedom Plasma. Octapharma is terrible- be prepared for a fistfight if you go there - CSL is cool - much better than Octapharma BUT FREEDOM PLASMA IS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO! Nicest staff ever!! There are chairs to sit in while you wait in line (Always thought it was ridiculous that the other places didn't have chairs bc there are times you will stand for Hours while waiting!) Chad is very professional and friendly- he's the manager and it seem

I'm not sure if this is because it's new place but there system for who is next in line is at random. you could be waiting 2-4 hrs just to be screened not donate. i recommend going to one of the regular donation centers instead.

Permanent deferral because I said you are a very pretty lady. Didn't ask for her phone number or even was checking her out. No inappropriate comments to the affect of her body or age.

Staff is respectful and courteous. Hope they get a few more beds and expand their operation hours. Come donate save lives and get paid to do it.

Have been here multiple times trying to comply with their requests. They don't call people with results. They keep records in their computer of you but still insist you bring these same papers back to them in a 30 day period, until they get everything together at once. It doesn't really seem like they want people to donate.

It's always something if nothing! Glad to be working then to be dependent on this place! Was turned away after arriving pretty early to be told their short staffed as a new donor when called in beforehand!

Great place people who work here have been great to me.Friendly, professional and competent! Ashley B. has always done an excellent job and is a joy to be around!/

Would be very helpful if you guys answered the phone. I have been trying to call the past three days with no answer. It's making it very hard to set up an appointment for a first time donor, since every time I've gone in on walk in days I've been turned away.

They're fast, friendly & safe. They do not cut corners and follow all protocols to ensure a safe donation experience. You can't go wrong here!

I walked in at 6:30 for scheduled appointment, and like always I'm sitting here 40 minutes post appointment and I still haven't been through any process after the kiosk.. there were 17 empty beds and 23 people sitting in the lobby all of whom where waiting to have there vitals taken still.. then center has some yhe most uninterested, snarky, entitled, disrespectful staff at any of the centers in Wichita

Compared to other plasma centers, cleanest one I have been to. Employees were polite, explained how everything would go.

Keezia was very courteous and professional?.she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and I wish more of the phlebotomist here were more like her

The appointment times you make they can never live up to. I've waited over a hour to get screened after my appointment time. They are usually short staffed, and when you tell someone these issues they do nothing.

Called someone said I come back after Chad talked too me got there Chad said I'm too aggressive I cuss too much all this over that nurse saying I stood up before my arm got wrapped up not like a needle was in my arm this place straight up JOKE slick mouth talking ppl !!! No need write reach out Nothing is too say !! And obviously it's clean there new place !!

This place sucks. They are by appointment only but I still wait over an hour past my appointment time whenever I come in. All the other plasma places are walk in and I've never waited more than 20 minutes. Ridiculous

Great place nice People

I donate plasma at all of the donation places in Wichita and Freedom is the best ran. Chad is a very good manager. 10 out of 10

Went all the way there for my appointment at 7:30am for my second donation of the week for my $100 just to find out they were closed now my week is going to start over!
