I went here for about 6 donations. The last time I tried to donate here was May 7. I took off an hour and a half early from work to donate that day. When I arrived, I had a question to ask regarding my donation. While at work the day before I acquired some light bruises near the needle sticking area of my arm. I needed to know if I was eligible or not. I proceeded to ask the caucasian lady behind the counter my question and she was very rude. Very unprofessional with the way she talked to me. I began to ask
The staff is nice and as a new donor I was in and out in a little under two hours.
Staff is great, always professional and place is clean. I've been coming almost a year to this facility and would recommend to anyone. Like any business, they may be under staffed some days, overwhelmed with Covid issues, or a client that is having issues, but they are consistent and always do their best. (And, yes, the money is Good!)
I Do not recommend they take some of your money you won't even get the full amount of what your owed
My husband and I went back to Grifols when Octa had that problem and he decided to go back to Octa I was like I'm good here. I love the staff every one is so friendly and that's y I stayed.
As a first time donor, I was nervous but the Assistant Manager Angel was very helpful and answered all my questions on the phone and was patient throughout the whole process in person as well. Thanks again and I highly recommend Grifols in Arlington if you're ever considering a place to go donate that treats you like family during the whole experience.
Ive had good experiences and Ive had bad experiences people are just people I don't discredit them I will say they've have put over 5000 dollars in my pocket and I've been a consistent donor one because I've had family that needed blood when my dad had cancer and my grandpa has prostate cancer and heart disease I still come because of the money and off course because it saves lives but I know I'm high functioning autistic but sometimes the vibes I get aren't good and it's like some don't enjoy there work I
The worst donation center to come too, go to biolife or csl, they're quicker and the payouts are better
It's a plasma donation center so you should always expect long wait times especially on your first visit. I've found if you go there in the middle of the day there's barely any wait. Staff are friendly and it's a good way to make some extra money. You get a bonus on your 5th, 6th and 7th visit of the month and the $25 doubles the second time you visit it in a week so take advantage of that.
They give you $50 on your first donation of the week, then $70 on your second.
Came back again.. service gets worse and worse.. today no one is answering phone or in the front desk.. how am I supposed to talk to a staff member if no one is in the front working??? I can't get to the back to get donate unless I'm helped. Lazy horrible ratchet workers!!! I keep seeing people need assistance or walk away because no one is available.
Woman with dreads does a great good. I lowkey hate going in and donating but she makes my day way much better. I want to say her name is latrice
This place LOST OR MISPLACED MY BLOOD and had me come in and redo everything all over again; reading the paperwork, watching the video, etc. even though I had just done them one week prior... Then took my new blood sample AFTER I DONATED which apparently messed with the sample because here I am in here for the 3rd time redoing absolutely everything and was told by the front staff that I had to physically read all the paperwork again and that if I didn't take it seriously and pretend to read it that he would
Colleen is pretty awesome. She makes the donating time go by fast and easy. Sam is also great. She is one of the few people that knows how to find my vein and stick the needle correctly.
My name Devonte Turner I came here Monday and Friday the nurses there had nasty attitude about my vein being small and this lady name Ms Jackie she bruised and blew up my vein they said I wasn't hydrated and my vein was to small she had cost alot issues with nurses towards me on the floor and everybody on the floor hated me because she had attitude about not doing her job and i asked for high ranked supervisor to explain to them about what was going on I feel like everybody in the whole place was trying to
After going here for years, I was permanently deferred tonight over a mishap with my paperwork (a whole 2 hrs!!). Information I could have clearly lied to these people about but went out of my way (going to my Dr etc) to provide them with what's needed. I had 3 people trying to convince me that I was lying to their faces but I feel like I stood my ground. I was ticked to have my integrity and character questioned! I'm sure plenty of these people are lying about their condition so be warned if you try to be
My experience has been great since my first review. Once actually able to donate. I've been donating for a couple months now. The staff is very friendly and informative. The management at cooper location is better than most that I've interacted with. Small wait times and very clean facility.
I love this facility. I have been attending for over a year and the employees are the so kind and nice, the pay is pretty decent, and they do an overall fantastic job of making you feel welcome. The only thing that really bugs me is management's treatment of their employees. Ten minute breaks are not realistic, especially for how hard the employees are working to keep up with the high donor volume. There are times when the facility is very obviously understaffed and I can sometimes see some of the managemen
I have been coming here for about a year now, the manager Richard is very accommodating and welcoming. He along with his staff Tasha, Beth and Agnes are absolutely amazing and part of the reason why I keep coming back. The other part being I get to save lives and get paid for it..win win. Absolutely recommend this location for anyone tryna do a little good.
Some good days, some not? super short staffed (as everywhere) but no hustle from those present. Long waits at every step. Only place I've ever had a painful stick- but was a training phleb- rest are excellent. Good pay and bonus programs but I've had problems getting bonuses loaded on my card multiple times.. today 3 people who came in after me got to go before me
Hours are incredibly restrictive relative to other plasma donation centers. Hours to accept new donors are INCREDIBLY RESTRICTIVE. They also have a phone menu that does not make easily available human beings, & when you get thru they often don't answer or out you on hold. Not convenient at all if you are employed in any manner.
New appointment system, has you scheduling appointments, now I actually spend more time waiting to be screened. Idk if this a protocol to control flow of incoming plasma, to regulate hours of staff but as a donor it is incredibly inconvenient. Definitely worth switching to Biolife on Arbrook, appointment are scheduled but no time is wasted sitting and waiting either to screened or in the chair bc 3 people have to help 1 person who can't get stick or flow correct. Forbinstance I am here now 2nd week in a row
This plasma place is the cleanest, professional, respectful place to donate. I recommend this place to everyone. I have seen really bad ones but this here the best by far
They are pretty fast most of the time and for the most part the staff is kind. However, lately there has a been a few nurses who mostly ignore you and get annoyed if you have a question. I will still give a good review since the workers like crystal are super nice, but a few others are stopping me from leaving 5 stars.
I've been coming here for years and it's been such a huge help for my family. Getting to see the staff every week is an added bonus! Nice people, clean facilities, helping people in need and more than fair pay for your donation. I can't recommend it enough. Try it out and get some bills paid!
I've been going to the Arlington location for over 3 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know you by name and ask how you're doing. The fees are usually fair and it's good to know you're helping others. I'd recommend donating plasma if you've ever considered it. The manager, Richard, is always cordial and helping around the center.
Wasted about two hours up here & wasn't even able to donate. Last time I came, they kept having to re-stick the needle in me and that caused bruising. So now, because one of their workers don't know how to stick people properly I wasted time over here.
My first donation took 6 hours... that's way too long for the first donation. But other wise I've had a good experience. The employees are usually very nice if you are nice back to them, they do tend to talk too much with other employees or donors which makes the wait longer. I always expect my time needed to donate here will be 2-3 hours, so make sure you have that much time to spend to donate. The money benefits are decent, I do enjoy that they will call you if you haven't donated in a while and offer you
Went in yesterday for my first time donation. It is a lengthy process for a first time donor, however it is understandable as they want to make sure that you understand the process and it is for your safety and well being as well as those who are going to receive your donation. The staff was very friendly and reassuring and the nurse who gave me my physical was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her. I will definitely be back on Sunday for my next donation.
I've been a donor here for about 8 years. Twice a week for ~8 years, I've never seen it this bad. Inexperienced phlebotomist that bruise clients that now can't donate for weeks, dirty all over ( I'm not sure the last time they mopped), new "Updates" that don't work and just take more time from clients or aren'tallowed to donate, and there's somebody new in charge , but you never see her. I miss Richard and the old days. It used to be easy to be a donor, now it's just struggles and troubles at this location.
I have been coming here for years and every time you see a change that is beneficial to the donors they take it away or make a bigger change that hinder the donors. Right now if you do not have at least 3 hours free do not go. This place is poorly managed. They rolled out new machines to the entire floor without getting all the staff trained. What smart management would do that? Smart business would rolled the new machines out in sections and trained their staff so not to impend business. I was there 1
Had to visit this place 3 times over a 2 week period and still was not able to donate!!! Trash
This place is so clean and organized. Love that I can just set an appointment and then show up and get the process going. The technicians are all so friendly and well trained. My favorite techs are Carol and Fabi they do an amazing job I highly recommend them! Btw update: they no longer do appointments but things still run as smooth as ever.
17 people deep wow. They says it's from walk ins. Have they ever heard of getting prepared. Complaint falls on deaf ears. Been donating for years and have over 500 donations. If it wasn't for the screeners and the people in back I would have given it negative stars. This is an extension of my visit this week. 21 people deep. I have been coming to this place for over ten years. All they tell me it will get better. This place is a joke. Oh wait it's 23 people deep. I have my physical this Saturday at another
Beyond disappointed with my experience here today. Started off good the gentlemen up front was very helpful and excellent with his service. I went through just about the whole process and spent 4 hours here to then be told I could not donate due to a wrist surgery for carpal tunnel and a cyst removal. I was told it's considered a major surgery and would have to wait until year has gone by since then to donate. It absolutely was not a major surgery and don't understand how I was able to donate at CSL plasma
I've been coming here close to a year now and I've never had an issue. This place has helped me in so many ways, like being able to pay some of my bills or get a few things at the grocery store. I've met some awesome people here too. I get to help save lives by donating my plasma on top of that. If you need a little extra cash you can come here, donate and help others all at the same time.
I've never had a bad experience here with this donation center. They're great. Honestly, the staff here (although busy) are friendly, helpful and professional. I appreciate their time and efforts in making me comfortable everytime I donate. They're great at what they do for a living without even trying to be someone that they're not. They're naturally kindhearted, hard working people who work together to make it for a quick and easy donation. And they clean and disinfect lounge chairs between donors (every
Very competent and friendly team of techs makes the donation process fairly straight forward and simple as people watch TV, read or chit chat with each other to pass the time. Clean donation space and comfortable, laid back seating for donors. The occasional free vendor gift is a plus.
I have been coming here for a couple of months and the staff does a great job for being understaffed. The workers are always smiling and doing their best to get donors through. The facility is clean and they pay decent for donations.
Hands down the best plasma donation experience I've ever had. The facility is so clean, the donor process is so streamlined, and their appointment system is ??. No doubt following all the additional Covid policies and extra safety procedures is time consuming & stressful, but they're doing all that's required to keep everyone safe. And the staff is fantastic. Starting with the person who took my initial phone call every single staff memeber I encountered was pleasant and helpful.
I've been going here for a year & a half. I'm deaf, and the staff has been understanding and very helpful. I gave 4 stars because it could be more efficient, timewise. Just like anywhere else, you will encounter staff members who are having a bad day.
My experience was very good. They answer questions that I had. Awesome work Staff . My favorite people Robert hes always smiling, calm and super funny he's an awesome employee , and Shawn he's extremely funny very patient I always request him when I come in to donate. Great staff!!!! D.W.
Got a coupon via text for $100 bucks for a return donation. Called before hand asked when is the latest I can get the physical. Operator said 6pm. Got there before 6pm not gonna lie it was kind of packed. I proceeded anyway. Waited for about 45 mins. Went to the front desk to ask if there was some mistake, was told that there was 4 people ahead of me, said I had physical. About an hour passed, and I wasn't called until after 7 people checked in. Was directed at the front, was told that they weren't aware
DO NOT DONATE HERE. I know some people are in need of extra money but find another way. This is the most unprofessional place i have ever visited, I was discriminated against by staff members, cheated out of my full payment due to staff error had to wait all the way until next donation to get it corrected. SAD!!! Staff is rude, they treat people like you're at the clinic. They are rude unprofessional and they just don't care. Once you've done donating and on your final return they leave you on the needle kn
They are the rudest people I've ever met in my life. They all have attitudes except for one lady I've met. I have been here about 3 times and every time the wait is more than 2 hours. I will never come back here. I advise anyone else to try a different one!
This place need to hire more workers or employee more staff members. I have been coming here all week and I never get in and out. I'm always here for more than 3 hours. It makes me not want to donate but stay saying you can save lives..HOW??? They take all day/night just for you to donate here. If you come here please clear your schedule for the whole day because you will be here for hours and hours. I'm never coming back !!!!!
I've come here a few times and generally my experiences have been pleasant but I came to find out today that this location is the only one around the DFW area that will make you get another physical after 6 months but NOT give you the new donor fees unless its been over a year, which is absolutely ridiculous. If I'm going to spend an insane amount of time to get a physical without even a guarantee that I'll be good to donate after, I expect to be compensated fairly for it, but instead I'm getting paid what
I started donating back in 2015, I liked the atmosphere. The staff was friendly. I just came back a month ago & every time I donate it's a problem. The majority of the staff is friendly but the few that have constant attitudes & no respect for people?s time makes the center look bad. I guess they forget that their line of work is customer service. On last week I practically had a lady yell @ me because I said the cuff was too tight. & nothing was done about her. So when I come in to donate I get dirty looks
Dedicated staff who are attentive and quickly address situations with a conflict resolution mind.. This is a reason to come to this center alone.. but one phlebotomist makes the 30 min trip extra worth while. Ashley. Her kitty cat ears and pink hair puts someone with a fear of needles at ease. Wonderful bed side manner.
I Love it The Staff is so Friendly and professional they communicate with you and make sure you are Comfortable and please I love all the Staff here ?? keep doing what yall are doing and we all are saving life
Worst customer service with staff! Upper management Richard doesn't communicate nor with the rest of the crew. Erica who is an EMT who think she's a RN has no respect on communicating with patients! This facility has no organization with staff and all. They had gave me wrong test results that caused a lot of confusion. Someone in the lab is getting plasma confused with someone else and giving them false information. I plan on taking this facility to court for discrimination, false documentations, poor work
I have been coming here for roughly two years. This place is so clean and sanitary and the staff here are so friendly. They help make the donation process smooth and efficient, and the one fine I had an issue, they rectified it immediately. I highly recommend this place to anyone who asks about them. If you go, put my name down for a referral lol
I felt Nurse Katherine, Floor and Screening Techs: Charity, Tasha, Andrew, Abby, Jay, Spinster, and Front Desk: Shirley were pretty decent people to be serve by. I am appreciate of their patience and dedication to serving others. As well as the managers Whitney and Quinn were helpful as well. It was my first time donating with them. Outside of the address verification trouble up front w/ Ms. Shirley after bringing in my renewal of my lease agreement mailed to my apartment address last night and my light bi
Have not been here for almost a year for the specific reason that the staff is very rude and very condescending towards people who are giving their life source to save others. Not only is the process painful and time consuming for a measly 20 and 30 bucks, but the hazards involved are life threatening, and scarring. I'm basically scarring my arm permanently from doing this. Yes it's a cosmetic issue, but people do care about how they look no matter how u try to spin it. Today I was treated with the utmost a
Place is still a joke and it shows. Management needs to jump off their high hourse and learn some customer service skills. This robotic response didn't go anywhere and since no one seems to answer when they reply with their generic responses I'll leave it here.
Great place great staff especially Colleen, Mary and Crystal always welcomes me with a smile and a friendly hello. Slow days fast days good days bad days the staff is always 100% in making donors feel welcome.
Every place has room for improvements but they are steadily trying... Some new faces on the staff but it's not a bad thing. If you are scared or fairly new get the head phlebotomist to stick you. Some of the techs rush and think they are so good, which to me leaves so much room for error. Not down playing anyone but the black women on Opening shift don't play. They get you in and out from the front to the back.
I love the staff that I personally work with each week. I like to help those in need because I know what it's like to need medicines for certain conditions. Really enjoy the VIP treatment.
This is the best place to donate at! Your first time here is quick and simple; only takes 3 hours for the first time then 1 hour every time after that. The employees here always make sure you're feeling your best and are amazing people! I love donating at Grifols Biomat USA and 100% recommend coming here for your first donation experience.
Love the friendly, fun and professional staff. Many remember me from my previous visits and always ask about my family and work. They are one of the only places to donate Convalescent Plasma to help Covid patients in the Arlington area. Occasionally the wait get a bit long but that seems to be mostly because other donors don't make appointments like people are asked to do and when this happens they work hard to get people taken care of as quick as possible.
Permanently deferred me because THEIR staff didn't document my tattoos correctly and I didn't show proof of longevity through personal photos in my phone which I don't feel I should have to.. thats my personal stuff, wouldn't recommend this unprofessional experience to ANYONE!
Everyone is nice they're very fast & amazing at what they does I give them 5 stars
i had a question are u able to use a picture of your social? i have my id but i only have a picture of my social an was wondering if that would work please someone get back to me thank youuu
I have been coming to this location for years and they recently started a donor program where you can earn extra cash. The program is good but they need another structured way for platinum donors to really reap the benefits. I was told being a platinum donor once you finish the kiosk machine you would skip everyone that's waiting. That only happens sometimes The person at the front desk is suppose to tell EVERYONE your there so one of them can call you first. I always have to say hey I got skipped or excuse
The staff at this location is very friendly and nice. The restrooms are very clean at all times. I love the connection that gets made over time when you donate and the workers address you by your name without looking at your chart. Shawndra is so approachable when she works the front desk. Phlebotomist are great too. Whitney, Shuntay, Kennetria, and everyone keep up the great work.
I love Grifols Plasma Center! The staff is cool and they try their best to get everyone in and out. The bonuses are awesome too. I have been to a few donation centers and this one is the best. They compensate you pretty good and on top of that your doing a good deed which is saving lives through medicine!
The location may be great but their over the phone customer service could be better. I called in earlier and was quickly rushed off the phone, after telling the rep I wanted to donate blood and setting up an appointment. But when looking at Biomat site. I figured I'd call again to verify if they do take blood, which they don't. Got the same rep which provided me the same great service (sarcasm)
I love the process of not having to need an appointment to be seen. That fits into my busy and sporadic schedule. The staff has always been friendly to me! Facility is close to home.
Not a bad place to donate but hope they change the way of removing the needle from the arm not sure if it's just me but then done they seem to have a way of removing it to be a fast jerk ,kinda damages my vein like that so I don't really Donate here unless I have to
Very professional environment and people. The new donor process is easy and effective by the courteous and helpful front staff, even if you are a walk in that day. The individual that helped me thru the process, James, was professional and respected my time during the whole endeavor. Use my name as a reference to get extra income! ~Charles Woodall
Although they could give two bleeps about our opinion because they make plenty money. I'm trying to get ahold of them and getting no answer. I'm pretty sure they have a receptionist. And you are always suppose to show up earlier than when shift starts. I understand that things get busy but there is someone designated to answer. The people themselves are great. If you're nice to them the energy is reciprocated. Don't see why people get upset over the wait. They have WiFi and you cant go anywhere nowadays wit
They aren't that professional. On my first day there, there was a furious man with a gun who had gotten into it with security guard. The police showed up and everything. That was frightening. After, I continued to go and experienced poor service from the staff. They don't communicate well when there is an issue with your file. They will just keep you waiting until you ask what's wrong. They have messed up on my donor fees more than once giving me less that what I was supposed to receive and I have bled out
So anyone want to tell me the new donor fees since for some reason you cant talk about how much your time is worth over the phone. Or if i can even afford to spend my gas to go there in the first place. All the centers are about 25-30 with traffic and i have a V8 truck and i would hope their new donore fees would be high enough to cover the gas to even come check them out. Really dont understand the need to be so secretive especially if its a decent amount being new. Makes no sense. Being secretive does not
A very good place to go for quick service. Very gentle with poking and great with conversation. When you visit pray you get Kristy , she is excellent, when she gets you she takes care of you , you won't feel a thing.
The best run and most efficient facility by far in my twenty years or so of donating my plasma for a very good cause! ??This place runs like a very well oiled machine and has done so in the twelve years or so of me donating there!?? Congratulations and a Big Thank You! to every one, from top to bottom and in between that make this a Big High 5 ?? establishment!??????????!!
Ok so I was a transfer from Houston and man does this place have their stuff together. The location in Houston takes 4 and half hrs start to finish as a new donor. I was a new donor today and was only there 2 hrs and 20 min start to finish!!! DO NOT go to another plasma company or location!!! The nurses are so sweet and very quick and helpful. Facility is extremely clean as well. I'll be donating like clockwork now that I found a good location. Thanks Biomat for a great experience!!
I've been coming here about a month now and I love this location. All the staff are friendly and I am always finished in a timely manner.
The staff is very friendly and courteous. They do a good job managing the busy times. The promotions they started up in 2022 are the best around!
Great place! The staff is very nice and helpful and make me feel very comfortable. They also have fun promotions and things like that!
Love this plasma center, best one by far! I have never had to wait they take you right away. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The only thing is they cant ever get my blood pressure to read on that machine. Does anyone else have that problem?
The front of the staff is always professional and sweet, however, when it comes to the back crew it just goes downhill. There's a time and place for hanging out but at work really?! Majority of the phlebotomist in the back just stand around and talk and distract the others that are working. I get having down time and a slow period but geesh!!! Also, the teamwork really sucks, I've donated at a variety of plasma centers, so I'm not new to understanding the process.
I've donated 5 times already and I've had no problems. Very professional. Great phlebotomist! Nice and clean. Payouts are on key and the money is usually on the card within 10-15 min. Very fast ( your first time is going to take 3 hours or so but after that its only going to take 1 in a half hours if that )! They are always telling me to wake up while I'm donating bc I tend to get relaxed and fall asleep. My advice is to bring a small blanket bc during the return you get really cold bc if the saline or wha
The whole process is now organized to a tee! Here you sign into your account and select your appointment. Once you arrive you tell them your name then assign you to a kiosk soon after they tell you over the speaker which booth you are assigned to and then off you go to the donor area. Easy! Your time there would be an hour or so depending.
So here's the thing some of y'all need to hear....this is a place of business. They have rules and guidelines set by the FDA and the medical staff has to follow them. Donors are not GUARANTEED to donate. Every donation you must be medically evaluated and be cleared. If you're sick, have ANY infections, getting over an illness or whatever, DO NOT DONATE! The plasma you donate is given to people that are fighting for their lives. Say you got an UTI, that infection is in your body, ultimately, in your plasma a
So;.... I absolutely love Fabi! ?? She accepted my request; greeted me nice and polite. She made a little bit of small talk; which helped me feel comfortable. Before I knew it my machine was up and running and I barely felt the needle stick. Fabi made sure I was comfortable, told me to call her if I needed anything. She came back to check on me also; I did not feel forgotten.
Been donating there for a while its a very clean facility, very helpful staff, very efficient. I'm normally in and out in about an hour, hour and 15 minutes. The only reason i didn't give 5 star is sometimes (luck of the draw no pun intended) the phlebotomist will not hit the vein "head on" which can cause some discomfort or bruising. All and all im satisfied with the overall performance and care given. P.s. if you go regularly you can learn the staff and get a "regular" phlebotomist mine is Liz and shes am
I don't have any cmplaints. I'm usually in and out within an hour if not it's because my veins are being stubborn. Carol is one of the best phlebotomist! it doesn't hurt and she gets it right on the money every time. Im glad they I have the updated website. I recommend this place.
One of the best plasma donation facilities ever. They are quick and on schedule and professional. The staff are very nice and friendly. I've been to some horrible facilities before (you can check out my previous review on one) and this one is just so much better!! I wish they had more prize opportunities here but other than that I really enjoy donating here!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
