The staff, all the way up to management have always been nice. Great teamwork amongst the phlebs. I had an issue where I keep getting "no flows" and needed assistance. I motioned for one phleb to come over to help. I'm ASSUMING he wasn't too sure he could resolve the issue so I told me "someone will be right there". He got another phlebs attention and she came right over and adjusted my needle. I had no issues the rest of my donation. I couldn't resist praising them to management for their awesome teamw

These people are kind, pleasant, and most of them are very competent! They extended both grace and mercy to me when I've had panic attacks on site, they didn't kick me out one lady held my leg and promised me I'd be ok. I've been turned away from donating 3 times now. Each time it's something new ?? for context, I'm a new patient and I went in and they said they were too busy to take new patients. Wouldn't let me donate because one of The numbers on my Social Security card were fainted out a little. I have never had a problem donating in the past or finding a job or doing a background check at all. I noticed as I was reading through most of the reviews on this company. They don't have a good record. At least I was somewhat prepared what I was walking when I got there today.

Every single time I donate there is a lobby full of people, and never more then 1 person working intake and they are not efficient at all with their intake. If there was a Bio Life near by would go there but only one. Most the staff is rude and treats patients like we are just bottles of plasma. There is always mass confusion on the floor. I went here to donate for the first time today. The staff was very helpful, and cheerful. It was refreshing to visit an establishment that was so organized and down to earth. I went up there to donate back in beginning of December as a new donor didn't know that I needed my physical SS card so I told the lady it's at home and I live less then 10mins away (one way) she said yeah go ahead and go get it and we can finish up the paperwork. Went in the other day the person at the front desk is gonna tell me about my name brought in all official documents. But she claimed I couldn't make a donation. I rate this place a 1/5 only because 0/5 wasn't an option. REALLY poor customer service. I made a formal complaint through the website and received no response. I got the same response from the boss of the center, too. Drive the extra miles to Kalamazoo. Went in to set up a profile to donate for the first time because I have one middle name on my social security card and two middle names on my ID per the Secretary of State and social security Administration. This place can really be a joke I'm in good health no health issues ... however on certain days or when certain staff is not in the mood to work they make sure to defer a certain amount of ppl. I donate religiously twice a week and have consistently for years. This is the SECOND time I've been weasled out of a $100 bonus due to a single day deferral that messed with my donation days. They refuse to answer questions about their qualifications in advance, because they say people will then lie about their conditions. Takes so long to even get fingers checked and for vitals to be taken. Usually not in a bed and hooked up until an hour after your appointment time. I was a long time donor. But now, I can't get in to donate anymore. I understand staffing shortages. But, anyone that works 1st shift can't even bother due to their operating hours. And now, by appt only means that if you COULD get in when they are open...chances are you can't. 4 star to less than 1 in less than a year.

The staff were friendly and helpful, however nowhere in the donation information, paperwork or website was there information in regards to weight limits. So I wanted over and hour and went through most of the process to be told I'm to big to donate. Nothing against the staff but it would have been helpful to know this information before wasting an hour of my time.

I've had good experiences in Battle Creek, the dropping of 2 stars is due to the fact that I've sent 2 people to donate and Kalamazoo is closer to them so they went there. Not only did they put me down as reference, I also told 2 workers on 2 separate occasions that I'd referred them and they were donating in Kalamazoo. Why did no one mention to any of the 3 of us that it has to be the same location. This is a lot to take in being a new donor and I realize $50 isn't a huge amount of money but hey it's $50.

Ive been long distance running for SIX YEARS. I run 40+ miles a week. My normal resting heart rate is between 40-50 and I was deferred for a heart rate of 49!?!!? There is this one employee in particular who keeps literally sending me away every time she has me during intake idk y but it's pissing me off I've missed my second donation/80$ twice due to her sending me away claiming my protein is 1.point under which is a lie I make sure I eat plenty protein the night before and before I walk thru the doors I hope she gets fired

The newest bonuses the extra 20 on the second donation are awesome! Those cards bonuses are bologna cause if you miss any part of it not cool! Service the kiosks more so they work properly!

The issue I have is that they have a separate calendar for compensation than for donations, they call it a rolling 7 day donation. If you donate once last week, you are stuck with keeping that day the next week. Because you "can't donate more than twice in 7 days". Ok, last week I donated once in 7 days. This week I wanted to donate twice in 3 days which is allowed. But they referred back to my last week's donation and said my second time this week would be too soon. Clean facility and friendly staff. But they're inconsistent enforcement of "policy" is ridiculous. I've donated several times in the past without my asthma medication being a problem. But today it's an issue. If my asthma medication renders me unfit to donate plasma today then every donation I've ever made in the past 7 years is unfit. Went in thier today to check the place out. Place looked like a hospital and was as clean as one. The ladie that I talked to was very informative, knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was talking about. Can't wait to give my first donation.

Nothing but terrible experiences here. The kalamazoo one is decent. But battle creek biomat will literally do anything to avoid doing work. Lazy and jumps at the chance to turn people away. If by chance you do make it in it is a miracle if they dont infiltrate your veins. They hire inexperienced hacks

They are good people man if you give respect you will get it back yes it might take 5 hours first to visit but that's because you got to do your physical and a whole bunch of other stuff to even donate you got to pass the whole bunch of tests that's why it takes 5 hours but after that oh you good it might take an hour just depends on how you eat the day before in the day that you done it but other than that they're good people that take care of you

I am a 15 year donor of biomat in Kalamazoo! Today my daughter donated at biomat battle creek and the staff was very unprofessional! They poked her arm and blew her vain and still proceeded to leave the needle in during donation. They SHOULD have removed it and did a restick. When she went into a no Flow again then they decided to do a restick. She was in so much pain but that didn't bother them, it took them forever to cone for her no Flow. There is one lady Shannon who bruised both my arms to the point i couldnt go back for well over a week then did the same to my husband... My daughtet went there today and the very same lady got her there was blood everywhere and now she cant go back for 56 days everyone else does pretty good from my experience there but Shannon should be answering phones

I like coming here and the all the staff is very nice I never have any problems but this is beginning to be too much I came in and have been waiting for over an hour they have one person checking the iron,protein etc and that's it, the whole lobby is packed and they have one person it's very frustrating when their are alot of ppl waiting they should have at least 3 ppl if not more when its busy.

I give you guys 1 star due to when I go in there my temp is 99.6 degrees which is less than 99.8 I went home with barely any gas to make it back had to pray I'll make it home. I got a thermometer my temp was 98.6 that will be my last time going period

Not just myself..I called them around 10am to ask if i needed an appointment for a physical..they said " oh we're not busy we can get you right under way", arrive 45mins later and tell me they're busy and I'd be waiting until 4:30pm???..that alone is a bit neglegent..so why would you trust lack of common sense to stick you with a 16 gauge needle?,.
