If I could leave no stars I would. I had the worst experience and they hurt me so bad I screamed. They eventually had to take the needle out because of swelling and bruising and pain and they only paid me half. When I talked to the manager he was not trying to help me. He basically told me that I signed documents that said all this could happen. And that because I refused to be repoked that he could only pay me half. And on top of that I told them before they even tried to poke me that my vein is deep and h

The staff, all the way up to management have always been nice. Great teamwork amongst the phlebs. I had an issue where I keep getting "no flows" and needed assistance. I motioned for one phleb to come over to help. I'm ASSUMING he wasn't too sure he could resolve the issue so I told me "someone will be right there". He got another phlebs attention and she came right over and adjusted my needle. I had no issues the rest of my donation. I couldn't resist praising them to management for their awesome teamw

I love everyone who works there, nothing but kindness. Great staff, to bad the people who come in to donate make there jobs so much harder. People grow up!

I started coming here bc I had to and I'll tell ya what it's kinda un welcoming, not comfortable and got poked to far in 2x now. And I've herd horrid story's and I don't even know anyone if that tells ya something. I wanna go back to my home base ??

These people are kind, pleasant, and most of them are very competent! They extended both grace and mercy to me when I've had panic attacks on site, they didn't kick me out one lady held my leg and promised me I'd be ok. I try to give them sweet tips if I can, because from what I hear they aren't paid to be rich either yet almost everyone I encounter there cares about you and doing their job well. I'm happy that this is my local place because I've heard bad stories about other places. The more I go the more

Just with the reviews I was gonna stop here today but no thanks really bad reviews I'll stay at the one I go to wich is further away but it's whatever. Especially outbon 20th I'm sure there busy even with a appointment ?? who knows. ????? but il stick to lansing

Amanda is the best one for sure there all nice but when it comes to poking she's top notch I want her every time without a doubt and she's always nice to talk to as well 10/10 recommend this place and Amanda the phlebotomist

I've been turned away from donating 3 times now. Each time it's something new ?? for context, I'm a new patient and I went in and they said they were too busy to take new patients. Which is fair enough so I wasn't mad, they tell me to come back Thursday, I come back. And guess what!!!! They say ?sorry we can't take new patients right now? -_- so they gave us a $10 redemption coupon thing and they tell us to come back another day. We ask them ?what day is the best day to come?? And they say Saturday. So we g

Shelby is the most unprofessional staff members I've ever made contact with. Her nasty remarks about the other staff and some of the donor's were unnecessary. None dare call her an "adult ". I and many others will not be returning until she's terminated!

Wouldn't let me donate because one of The numbers on my Social Security card were fainted out a little. I have never had a problem donating in the past or finding a job or doing a background check at all. I noticed as I was reading through most of the reviews on this company. They don't have a good record. At least I was somewhat prepared what I was walking when I got there today.

Every single time I donate there is a lobby full of people, and never more then 1 person working intake and they are not efficient at all with their intake. If there was a Bio Life near by would go there but only one. Most the staff is rude and treats patients like we are just bottles of plasma. There is always mass confusion on the floor. Even everytime I get to a bed it's sometimes an hour before getting hooked up. It's at least a 3 hour process here. At bio life it was 45min to 1 hour everytime. Today I

What a horrible place. It has definitely gone down hill quickly. When started donations the staff was fantastic, unfortunately they can not retain quality staff due to incompetent management and absolutely not empathy or concerns for the customer or their wellbeing. I implore you. DON'T DO IT!!!

I went here to donate for the first time today. The staff was very helpful, and cheerful. It was refreshing to visit an establishment that was so organized and down to earth. As I sat in the donation area, I observed the ladies on shift. They worked so well together and showcased their teamwork perfectly. I left in a better mood than I came and that is what it's all about. I have to say, people that have left bad reviews about this place should re-evaluate the situation and see their own faults in that sce

I give this place ZERO stars. I have been turned away 4 times due to various excuses they have given me. The last 2 times I called first to make sure they were accepting new donors. Today was the last draw. I called yesterday and they told me they were accepting new donors until 11. I got here by 11 and they said they stopped taking new donors at 10, because employees are shifting their hours around because of Christmas. I informed them that I was told 11 and that I recently lost my job, had to ride a bike

Place is a joke. Doesn't say anything about how close you need to live to donate. Just wasted time and money trying to come donate just to be told I love 10 miles to far away. Plus lady at the front counter couldn't quit chewing her nails her my registration.Talk about unprofessional and nasty. ZERO STARS

Horrible service, rude, lazy. I went up there to donate back in beginning of December as a new donor didn't know that I needed my physical SS card so I told the lady it's at home and I live less then 10mins away (one way) she said yeah go ahead and go get it and we can finish up the paperwork. Ran home and grabbed it and was back in less then 18min and go back in and she was like I am sorry but they just told me not to take anymore new people. why tell me to go get it then come back to tell me can't take me

Never had an issue. Some people get mad when they get turned away. Get over it...try again tomorrow bub.

Went in the other day the person at the front desk is gonna tell me about my name brought in all official documents. But she claimed I couldn't make a donation. I asked to speak to the Supervisor.she claimed that the supervisor was on a conference call and couldn't be interrupted but she walked back and forth claiming to talk to that Supervisor. But she claimed she was a manager too.Need better and more competent person assisting the patients. The old lady up front supposedly greeting and taking the patients

I rate this place a 1/5 only because 0/5 wasn't an option. REALLY poor customer service. I made a formal complaint through the website and received no response. I got the same response from the boss of the center, too. Drive the extra miles to Kalamazoo. Once I wrote my review, I received a phone call about how they "handled" my complaint which was really not at all, but at least they can say they did SOMETHING right? Lol.

Went in to set up a profile to donate for the first time because I have one middle name on my social security card and two middle names on my ID per the Secretary of State and social security Administration. As soon as I came in at the front desk Rebecca told me I couldn't donate she never went and checked out my IDs and ran the information to see if I was telling the truth. I feel very disrespected and the staff here is lazy. I don't know why everybody exonerates them about their job it seems like there's

Lazy. Need better staff on Saturdays. I walked in at 2pm. They rolled their eyes when I approached the finger poke station. I knew instantly they were looking for any excuse to lock up and leave at 2:30. They said my arm was too bruised to donate. "What about my other arm?" i asked. They replied "We can't do that"... Seriously?? They threatened me and told me to leave. Completely useless and lazy. I don't recommend.

Honestly this is the most drama place to go, they will literally tell you ?we can choose not to let you donate FOR no reason if we want to? do you accept. And guess what they did? They told me I cussed the last time I went and I can no longer go there mins you when I left they gave me a $20 extra on next donation... ( but I cussed and was rude) I asked them if I could see the report or know what I said and I was declined. Literally everyone that works there EVEN the men are catty. So if you want to donate s

I have literally jumped through hoops to be able to donate due to having diabetes and having my doctor sign a some forms. I spend 6 hours this morning running around getting these forms signed and Biomat told me yesterday that if I got the forms signed I could come back the next day and donate and since I got everything else completed in order to donate I would be considered a new patient. So when I get there today, they rudely told me that they weren't taking new patients today even though I explained to t

This place can really be a joke I'm in good health no health issues ... however on certain days or when certain staff is not in the mood to work they make sure to defer a certain amount of ppl. I have literally sat and heard and watch them do this to donors. Then blame it on the equipment and refer ppl to corporate! You all need to get blood pressure cuffs that accommodate plus size donors if that's the case not only is it a inconvenience but it also can lead donors to believe the have hyper tension or othe

If you have a car, don't waste your time here. They don't want to work so they defer people. You will never get consistent donation days and don't even bother trying on Saturday. The generic response to all the reviews tells you all you need to know about how much they care.

I donate religiously twice a week and have consistently for years. This is the SECOND time I've been weasled out of a $100 bonus due to a single day deferral that messed with my donation days. Even though I still came twice a week according to my new schedule, it didn't matter. Due to the system in place I was set up to fail, and was not made aware that would make me inelligable. I had been counting on that money. The new wait times are higher than before now that there isn't a schedule, and I wouldn't have

They refuse to answer questions about their qualifications in advance, because they say people will then lie about their conditions. It took me about 90 minutes of waiting to find out they don't accept diabetics. They can reject whomever they want, but hopefully this review will help some people not have their time wasted like I did.

The staff was downright rude and prejudice. I am special needs and need help understanding certain words, and they told my POA that she cant be in the building. Then, they made me wait almost an hour just to deny me for being special needs!!!

Honestly the majority of the staff is really nice but Ive repeatedly had an issue with a one staff member that came to a head this morning. I was fully aware that there was no possibility of me donating today since your heat wasn't working and because so I was informed you couldn't do walk-ins. Yet inexplicably getting a better understanding of why I haven't been able to donate for three weeks is asking too much. I have no problem with the fact my arms have had spots that could be seen as a potential danger

Takes so long to even get fingers checked and for vitals to be taken. Usually not in a bed and hooked up until an hour after your appointment time. Very understaffed and staff do not seem to be happy or pleased and continually talk about leaving. Unprofessional setup, and I've never heard anyone not complain. Tons of empty beds but will say that they are ?full?. Should have known to stop trying when they kept turning me away at the door for being a new donor 4 separate times. It took 4 hours for my first do

I was a long time donor. But now, I can't get in to donate anymore. I understand staffing shortages. But, anyone that works 1st shift can't even bother due to their operating hours. And now, by appt only means that if you COULD get in when they are open...chances are you can't. 4 star to less than 1 in less than a year.

The staff were friendly and helpful, however nowhere in the donation information, paperwork or website was there information in regards to weight limits. So I wanted over and hour and went through most of the process to be told I'm to big to donate. Nothing against the staff but it would have been helpful to know this information before wasting an hour of my time.

I understand their are staffing shortages but at least adjust the hours so you are open later in the day. Closing at 4pm keeps most people from being able to donate. I used to donate regularly but I haven't been able to since they changed their hours.

I've had good experiences in Battle Creek, the dropping of 2 stars is due to the fact that I've sent 2 people to donate and Kalamazoo is closer to them so they went there. Not only did they put me down as reference, I also told 2 workers on 2 separate occasions that I'd referred them and they were donating in Kalamazoo. Why did no one mention to any of the 3 of us that it has to be the same location. This is a lot to take in being a new donor and I realize $50 isn't a huge amount of money but hey it's $50.

Im a new returning donner,And this facility moves to the beat of a snail.won't be back.

I am a would-be first time donor. I came on a Friday and was told they weren't taking any more new donors and to come back on Saturday morning. Saturday morning, I arrived at 11am and was turned away again! I don't enjoy wasting my gas for nothing!

Ive been long distance running for SIX YEARS. I run 40+ miles a week. My normal resting heart rate is between 40-50 and I was deferred for a heart rate of 49!?!!? I WATCHED SMOKERS PUT OUT THEIR CIGARETTE BEFORE COMING IN AND THEY GET TO DONATE BUT SOMEONE WHOS PERFECTLY HEALTHY DOESN?T GET TO???? B.S.

There is this one employee in particular who keeps literally sending me away every time she has me during intake idk y but it's pissing me off I've missed my second donation/80$ twice due to her sending me away claiming my protein is 1.point under which is a lie I make sure I eat plenty protein the night before and before I walk thru the doors I hope she gets fired

Love the staff, great people who work there. They make you feel comfortable while donating with checking up on you and good conversations along the way. I have been donating for three months and I have never had a bad experience.& also a very clean facility!!

Great staff and management crew! people get to upset over plasma money! You want to get loud and act a fool! Some donors need to be band in my opinion! It's a place of business! The newest bonuses the extra 20 on the second donation are awesome! Those cards bonuses are bologna cause if you miss any part of it not cool! Service the kiosks more so they work properly!

Clean environment! Friendly staff! Highly recommend

The WORST PLACE EVER!! SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH CSL IN PORTAGE . THEY GAVE ME RUN AROUND AFTER HARASSING FOR AN ODOR ...SAID MY VEINS ARE O'S . I SUCCESSFULLY DONATED IN KALAMAZOO. THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND A JOKE THEY DONT DESERVE 1 STAR

The issue I have is that they have a separate calendar for compensation than for donations, they call it a rolling 7 day donation. If you donate once last week, you are stuck with keeping that day the next week. Because you "can't donate more than twice in 7 days". Ok, last week I donated once in 7 days. This week I wanted to donate twice in 3 days which is allowed. But they referred back to my last week's donation and said my second time this week would be too soon. It had been 14 days since my last donati

I come twice a week. The staff is amazing. Michelle gets my vein every time. Randall is gentle and cautious! Love the staff!!

Clean facility and friendly staff. But they're inconsistent enforcement of "policy" is ridiculous. I've donated several times in the past without my asthma medication being a problem. But today it's an issue. If my asthma medication renders me unfit to donate plasma today then every donation I've ever made in the past 7 years is unfit. Pathetic to be the only plasma donation center in the city and still have such a low rating. But now I understand why.

GREAT STAFF!!! In the past I've heard that employees at places such as Grifols treat their donors very poorly. I've heard this particularly about one in Kalamazoo. That the employees are simply not nice. Because if that, I've hesitated going, even after there was one built in Battle Creek. However, I was at a store in the same strip mall and decided that I'd go in and inquire, never expecting to donate at that time. But the people were so nice, helpful and showed no judgement towards anyone. After all the p

staff are seriously so nice :)) so fast with the express kiosk , wish they could listen to their own music again :/ radio is actually awful and all about s*x

The help was super nice! It was my first time donating so I was super nervous. They made sure I was comfortable and actually I didn't mind it at all! ??

Been there 2 times, even though it took along time for the first visit, I did have a great experience and friendly staff and glad to see how clean it is!

Excellent plasma donation center, very reassuring, kind, professional, and knowledgeable staff, been donating at the battle creek, MI location for a few months now and haven't bruised or had any issues at all with my donations, I especially give credit to Michelle, and Randall for always being spot on, and making the process as pain free and smooth as possible! 10/5 stars.

Went in thier today to check the place out. Place looked like a hospital and was as clean as one. The ladie that I talked to was very informative, knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was talking about. Can't wait to give my first donation.

Completely unprofessional and rude staff was profiled for smoking canabis without any proof or reasoning. Disgusting conditions inside dirty and small they didn't even have enough seats for the people waiting.

Always friendly and supportive. Never had any issues with any of the staff. They have gotten really good at sticking people and the new donor rates are amazing.

I am not even sure they deserve even one star honestly if your late to your appointment their rude and wont see you.but they make you make a appointment and I am still not sure why if your appointment is at 11:15 you wont even be called up to get vitals done until 12:15 or later, then you have to wait forever to be seated. Then once your finally seated you have to wait to he hooked up or unhooked. It feels like everytime you come here your q new donor because that's how long it takes now.its redicoulous I thi

They are doing a few things so you can win more money.. I love the staff.. One girl sings all the time.. I love it. Very cool place... An helping people bye donating an get to chill.. Great job to the workers at grifols

Nothing but terrible experiences here. The kalamazoo one is decent. But battle creek biomat will literally do anything to avoid doing work. Lazy and jumps at the chance to turn people away. If by chance you do make it in it is a miracle if they dont infiltrate your veins. They hire inexperienced hacks

They are good people man if you give respect you will get it back yes it might take 5 hours first to visit but that's because you got to do your physical and a whole bunch of other stuff to even donate you got to pass the whole bunch of tests that's why it takes 5 hours but after that oh you good it might take an hour just depends on how you eat the day before in the day that you done it but other than that they're good people that take care of you

Piss poor service on a Friday. Been here 30 minutes already and they've screened 2 people. Definitely considering stopping my weekly visits to biomat. Especially when I'll be here for the next few hours at least.

Never had an issue here, love giving plasma and getting paid for it too! Friendly staff as well.

Worst plasma donation center I've been to and I've been to quite a few. The wait was 5 hours to be a new donor. Yes hours. Staff was rude and seemed as if they had no idea what was going on. Also very understaffed. I recommend octapharma plasma in Kalamazoo.

I am a 15 year donor of biomat in Kalamazoo! Today my daughter donated at biomat battle creek and the staff was very unprofessional! They poked her arm and blew her vain and still proceeded to leave the needle in during donation. They SHOULD have removed it and did a restick. When she went into a no Flow again then they decided to do a restick. She was in so much pain but that didn't bother them, it took them forever to cone for her no Flow. When they did, they turned the machine off and walked away for sev

All the staff is very helpful and always checking to make sure if I need anything. It's easy in and easy out, not to mention easy money. Plus your helping save lives..

This place has only 3 good workers ... If you don't want certain people sticking your arm you should be able to request who u want to do it.. This is the Last place I would recommend anyone to go to !!! I dont need the couple of dollars that bad !!!!

There is one lady Shannon who bruised both my arms to the point i couldnt go back for well over a week then did the same to my husband... My daughtet went there today and the very same lady got her there was blood everywhere and now she cant go back for 56 days everyone else does pretty good from my experience there but Shannon should be answering phones

Very unhappy with the last few times i come in not all the employees are friendly some are they are very understaffed and slow there is no reason a return donor should be sitting for 40 min. Or longer 2 be screened

Professional and friendly staff. I feel welcome everytime I donate. They tell you everything they know. I also love how they make you feel comfortable. Keep it up guys!

I like coming here and the all the staff is very nice I never have any problems but this is beginning to be too much I came in and have been waiting for over an hour they have one person checking the iron, protein etc and that's it, the whole lobby is packed and they have one person it's very frustrating when their are alot of ppl waiting they should have at least 3 ppl if not more when its busy.

I give you guys 1 star due to when I go in there my temp is 99.6 degrees which is less than 99.8 I went home with barely any gas to make it back had to pray I'll make it home. I got a thermometer my temp was 98.6 that will be my last time going period

Very unorganized!! Took 3 hours to get a physical when their was only 2 ppl in the waiting room and they never came to do it so I left!! The Staff would rather joke and talk then do what they need to do to get ppl moving through! A waste of time!!! Not even worth 1 star!!

I habe attempted to donate since 7/5 amd everytime its a 4+ hour wait. They dont do their job they talk about their lives instead of doing their jobs. And they are biased to other donors.

Worst Plasma Center EVER!!!!!!!! Rude staff five hour wait my first visit. Unapologetic and rude as hell I would rate them negative five stars if I could I recommend octopharma in kalamazoo

I couldn't donate because of medical reasons; however, the place was busy but very clean. The staff is friendly, professional and goes the extra mile to take care of it's customers.

Not just myself..I called them around 10am to ask if i needed an appointment for a physical..they said " oh we're not busy we can get you right under way", arrive 45mins later and tell me they're busy and I'd be waiting until 4:30pm???..that alone is a bit neglegent..so why would you trust lack of common sense to stick you with a 16 gauge needle?,. Go to griffols in lansing first..( and $50 first 2 times down to 25 is cheap..REALLY cheap if you investigate how much the get for 820 units of plasma to hospito

Love the staff always make me feel welcome. I would never donate anywhere else

If someone would answer the phone.... been trying all day, 4X so far. Cmon man

Worst place to donate don't even waste ur time they make u wait all day just to say you can't donate they system is very old an the phlebotomist don't know what they're talking about ??????

The only time I visited it was a bad experience, it arrived at 4:27 pm Tuesday, one of the employees tells me that it has a lot of people who return tomorrow ?? bad service ??Grifols Biomat ??I do not recommend it bad service and the employees are Mediocre and incompetent BAD SERVICE

Staff is always helpful & kind. The appointments make it a nice and quick experience!

Very slow wait times. Waiting to get screened takes up to 1.5 hours!!! Recommend that they need more screeners.

They ask plenty of questions when you get there. Then they ask you different ones once you're in the back that make it so you aren't qualified. Waste of time.

I think it's an awesome place to go. There all nice and makes you want to return ..

Great service, Randall was very helpful and the front desk staff as well

I really enjoy the people that work here great environment nice clean place friendly people

Besides an old machine malfunctioning, I've never had a problem here. Friendly staff

I considered going here but after reading several reviews I'll save myself the trouble and go elsewhere, maybe one day they'll get their act together but probably not.

I have had nothing but good visits here. I would recommend it to everyone who seeks to help and have a little extra cash in their pockets.

Never been here! But to save lives I'd do it for Free.

Bedside manner could use some work but the do a much better job these days
