Customer Reviews

Came here today and 11 people waiting for check in-one staff member. A retest walks in. Lol. Not fair to your staff and the clients. Staff is excellent, but this place has zero ability to predict customer flow. Please do better. ***Update- another staff member came. Managers please do more to help you staff and pay them more money. In fact, pay everyone more!! Overall staff is friendly and competent. Some days it takes too long. But not the norm. I'm not crazy about the needles and giving it but the money

first time donating!! the process, it was super smooth, I of course wasn't feeling well the first time in the process and the staff treated me so well, they were so kind and made sure I felt okay and was also okay to drive home. They did everything to make sure I wasn't feeling super faint as well. Just amazing, they care for those who are donating! will definitely donate again!!

i've been donating off an on since last year and within the time i come to donate its such a great experience. Ive never felt uncomfortable and i feel as if ive made best friends here. A big shout out to brandon, annette and josh for always making me feel welcomed and my visit the highlight of my day. i look forward to seeing my people twice a week and even more donating to help others.

Josh and willow are amazing! They did such a great job explaining the whole process and were constantly making sure I was doing okay the entire experience. I highly recommend donating here to help those in need!

I originally started donating Plasma in 2013 in Washington State, and then started donating in Reno around 2014/2015. Around 2017 they started struggling with getting a blood pressure reading with the automatic cuffs. I stopped donating due to this. I WAS NEVER DEFERRED. I simply stopped going because it was a waste of my time. Fast forward a few more years and the Carson City location opens. Great! I go in and sure enough the brand new cuffs cannot get a reading. I don't go back. I just give up. That was

This is my second review, both negative. They discriminate against low income persons for living in low income hotels. I actually have a studio apartment I've lived in for over ten years. The DMV has accepted my address. It appears on my Comercial drivers license as well as my registration. I provided hospital ,bank, and credit statements with the same address as well. I provided a reciepts from my landlord showing I've live at the address since 2015. Their website says to bring proof of address. I

Staff was very friendly when I first donated. The process for my first visit was easy but will take you around 2 or 3 hours but I think it was worth my time. 100% will come back for my second donation.

Always professional. Once and awhile a tech will rush set up and then misses a stick ( or hit a tendon). Great program to give back to society and make extra grocery money, especially being on a fixed income. 12/6/2024.... Annette, Keefe, Alex, McKenzie, Leticia, Ben, Ashley have all been here for a while and are top notch employees....sorry if I forgot to mention one of them. But hones, they are all great. Update: I have been at this 4 months, donating 1-2 times per week. Ive had a tendon hit once, and th

Whole process was pretty straightforward and the people were really nice to talk to. This was my first time donating and I was nervous but they actually put me at ease. These people do their best and I'm happy I donated and will definitely do it again.

The tech named Willow did an AMAZING job so professional, great work ethics and stick me really smooth..

This place is absolutely marvelous I just want to say I've done this in Florida for a few years at the same company and I wanted to give a shout out to Willow Brittany and E for my first time visit they were absolutely marvelous and made me feel like family and if you want to do a good cause in this world I suggest you come and give plasma to you grifols on Jacks Valley Rd.

My experiences here have been nothing but professionalism and kindness. I had Alex today, who is always friendly and great at what he does, as well as all the others here that perform there job. Thanks all.

Would be 5 stars but twice being here, the front desk check in people don't change gloves between people.... gross change the gloves each time!

Amazing, caring, kind staff!, all of them, including Josh, always a positive experience!, so good, that I drive from Tahoe to donate!, thank you!

Awesome place, friendly staff, EZ MONEY, HELPING SAVE LIVES can't top all the good this does for everyone

Great place to donate. Never had any issues whatsoever. Was very nervous donating for the first time but everyone here was very nice n made me feel comfortable

Honestly I was a bit skeptical about donating plasma ( even with compensation ) I have to admit, I was really nervous for my 1st time ever donating in my life, but thankfully the staff here was very kind & welcoming, especially Angelina & Mckenzie ( I believe is her name). They were both very knowledgeable and sweet! They walked me through the process and explained everything they were doing as well as ask numerous times if I felt okay. If that ain't customer service than I don't know what is.. Love it??

Everyone at the Carson City Grifols Biomat is wonderful starting with Ashlee, Letty, Alex, Miguel Anya Annette Keith Ben McKenzie Mariana. They always make coming here such a pleasant experience. It's always so nice to see a friendly face. They all deserve a raise.

Keith did my first donation and was very relaxed and friendly, helped with hardly noticing the needle. Love all the staff and the very positive environment.

The employees here are wonderful, so nice and such hard workers Keefe helped me today I'm so grateful it was painless he has always made me feel comfortable and welcomed thank you

Patrick was awesome, had a situation which I'll spare the details and he handled it like a true professional. I really hope they take care of him there because he deserves whatever he pleases. He's easy to talk to plus very professional. Rereading this a day later I saw somehow ?pimp? was added there and I'm not sure how that happened, just wanted to apologize and clear the air

I recently visited Grifols Biomat to donate plasma, and the experience was excellent. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and efficient. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process and took the time to answer all my questions. The facility was clean and well-organized, which put me at ease. Donating plasma was a rewarding experience, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend Grifols for anyone considering plasma donation.

I have been donating plasma for the past nine years. I have been donating here in Carson since they've opened. I absolutely love it here. It gives me time to relax and read my book. The people and staff are amazing too! The extra money really helps with all of my children and their activities. I couldn't do what I do without this extra income. I consistently come twice a week all the time and have never had any problems.

Great place. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Leticia, Miguel and Alex. They always have a smile and kind words. Thanks for making the process quick and painless.

A million stars for all the sweethearts that work at this location. It's the best location/center I've been to nationwide. It's clean, organized, but the staff is what makes it. I really am fond of these peeps! Whoever does the hiring here, good job! Xo and thank you!

The Biomat in Carson City has friendly staff who are curtious, helpful, professional and safe. They are very knowledgeable and put worries to rest by answering concerns and needs on the spot. The facility is clean and the process of donating is quick. While voicing my concerns on here Alexander explained how to do my survey and has offered assistance and knowledge when requested. I will continue to donate here.

Awesome people although grifols hasn't been paying as much as they used to

I just donated and it went well even though it looked busy i got hooked up right away. I was greated by Mariana she was very nice and Josh did my stick and answered all my questions he was very helpful. I'll be back.

Awesome staff makes it a great experience.

I enjoy donating blood plasma here at Grifols BioMat Blood Plasma Donation Center. The staff are friendly, proficient in their duties and professional. The facility is clean and comfortable, and very short or no wait times. Please consider donating blood plasma! The need is greater than the supply.

I've been donating since October and everyone at this location is extremely helpful and professional. I did have one instance where my donation took hours due to issues with the needle not hitting the vein correctly, but I was monitored closely and the evening supervisor was finally able to position the needle to draw accurately. Admittedly I was a little nervous to return, but was given attentive care by the 12/13 7AM staff and my reassurance has returned. I feel so confident in the quality of every member

Everyone was great. Michelle was really nice, the physical was quick and easy. Jenna was awesome, she seemed experienced and took her time to make sure she poked me correctly the first time. Overall felt like I was in good hands the whole time and had a positive experience ??

Thank you to LaNita Lopez for recommending me to this amazing facility. It was my very first time donating. The staff was amazing very welcoming answered all my questions, and made my experience very comfortable. The manager spoke to me and explained everything about the pay. I was very happy with the pay the money went right to the card no problems super convenient! Thank you Biomat USA in Carson City I will be returning. :)

It is always very clean; and the staff is so friendly and personable. They do their best to make everyone feel comfortable and taken care of, and are very personable. I would definitely recommend them and encourage everyone to go!! And you make money doing it, so why not?!?

Been donating here for a while and they're usually pretty good about doing what they need to do and the staff is pretty awesome however they're changing their system and I had to go through that process today. And if you were ever in the old system or donated at Reno at one time you will have to have some kind of managerial approval to lift a deferral from them so make sure you got the time. Cuz I just wasted mine 40 minutes of it. Some of that could have been mitigated by checking to see if I was one of t

Willow is always in great mood and is always knowledgeable and helpful and makes your donation experience a pleasure

More training is probably needed, so veins don't get wrecked. Paying staff good wage would probably help. Staff are super nice. Business is business though. Saving pennies where they can. Risks are everywhere and you are warned in writing, but they are supposed to almost never happen.

Been going here for almost a year. Never really had any issues. The staff is super friendly and work harder than most crews I've seen at any job. Overall I would recommend this to new or returning donors. Wish they still had the $800 for the first 8 visits and $70 for the second visit instead of $60, but it is what it is. Edit: They do a lot of promotions from TV raffles to a couple thousand dollar give away. Even if you don't win the 2-5 grand or the newest TV, they do small promotions as well that are an

Seen this place thought about it. Even had someone recommend going here today especially for the money. Then I heard her say something while I was walking away and I thought to myself No, Not with the Narratives and scenarios societies and communities push on people and the games they play while they use businesses or services like this one for a personal grudge or Vendetta. I've been a victim my whole life over 40 years society doesn't deserve my plasma for the things they have done. It looks like a great

I've been coming twice a week since the beginning of 2022, and have never had an unpleasant experience. The people that work here are all very kind and helpful, and I'm glad to have developed such a good rapport with them in the time I've been coming. The money is good too; an easy extra $100 a week is nothing to turn your nose up at. (I've also been told that if more people come and donate regularly, that weekly amount will increase for everyone, so come donate your plasma!!)

I been donating since 2019 in Fresno California. I have just started donating again about a week now at the Carson city location and I never had any bad experiences donating. The staff is kind friendly and funny. I always have a good time when I am there

I gave 2 stars because I'm not donor. I just moved from California, I was looking a donor center to donate, but, after see the payments I decided don't do it. In California the first month was $800, $200 each week. After that, $$100 per week, and sometimes we get $50 bonus.

Very friendly and comforting staff. Make sure your comfortable during the process and everything goes well. Bring something little warm as it does get little cold. Awesome place!

I have just started donating again about 3 months now at the Carson city location and I never had any bad experiences donating. The staff is kind friendly and funny. I always have a good time when I am there.

I used to donate in Reno, now I am registered at Jacks Valley Carson City. I love the staff they are so kind and helpful. They also help you feel comfortable. The equipment is new and improved, so you get in and out, so you can get on with your day. The payment is put on a bank card, so payment is easy. Twice a week I get 45 mins to myself. Thank you, Biomat!

I just recently transferred back to this location. Mostly for the convenience of the commute. But also for the experience. The staff in this location are fantastic, energetic and friendly people. It's hard to leave this place after a donation without a smile.

everyone in the staff is so incredibly kind, donating is always a relaxing and easy process w the people that work there. they all should be recognized for their wonderful work and efficiency. i was nervous to start donating and had plans on stopping after paying school off, but i don't think i?ll ever stop. i?ll miss them too much. highly suggest this place to anyone considering donating

The staff was extremely kind as well as knowledgeable office was extremely clean and welcoming I will drive the extra 20 more minutes to go to this facility

Everyone was great. Karissa was really nice, she seemed experienced and took her time to make it feel like I was in good hands the whole time and had a positive experience

Been a regular patient for almost a year. All Staff are Highly Professional, as well as Extremely Friendly and Neighborly. The Facility is always very Clean, and all Equipment is always Sterile.

Great first time experience! Brandon and David along with all the staff were very informative and attentive to make sure I was well taken care of and I understood all the information. I shall definitely be returning in the future!

Got to admit I was a little scared my first few times here but Leticia has made my experience here so great! always has a smile on! Thank you for all you do ??

Good courtesy management and staff. Very polite and friendly. I recommend this is the only and best institute that care and treat you as such caring staff and appreciate your time and donation

Jamie was an exceptional phlebotomist and had great customer service skills ta'boot! This is a great location and they really go above and beyond to make the experience as good as the situation can be: Added bonus, you save lives and make a lil' spare cash as well..

This place is great, staff is great, such upbeat and fun people. Its just like hangin out with your buddies while you help save lives ?? They also do alot of cool promotions. Id give 10 stars if they let me.

My first donation went well! But my second donation was not enjoyable. The person who was putting the needle in my arm was supposed to have someone watching him but he said, "Don't bother getting him he's on break." Then he had to ask the other person who was doing needles to check if he got it right. The other person readjusted it in my arm. They both didn't feel confident with it in my arm. They didn't go get their supervisor just asked me if I would consent to them going threw my other arm. I said, "No!"

I have been donating here since 8/2022. The experience is alway exceptional. Annette and Kefe are both so awesome. All the staff are friendly and make the experience fun.

I did my first ever plasma donation here and it was a great experience! Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. The process was very straight forward and a staff member is there to assist you every step of the way. And best of all, it was painless!

Everyone is great and so friendly. They really care about their clients and are super supportive about everything. They're relatable and like family and treat their clients like family too.

Would not recommend. After multiple donations with no issue, they told my husband he tested positive for HIV. Several more tests of the same and other samples came back negative, as did the test from an independent lab. Clearly an error occurred somewhere, which happens. I get it. But they have no resolution process for this, and he and I are now both permanently banned from donating, because of ?protocol.? Not sure how protocol protects errors on their part with no accountability, but this is a disservice

Thank you for your amazing team in the Indian Hills of Carson City! Everyone on staff is so kind and friendly at Grifols Plasma Bank. Win-win environment, indeed8) Karissa, Ursula, Mariana and the entire team are all on point:)??(:

The staff are very professional at all they do. They treat you with the greatest of respect, and do their work with the most efficientcy. My experience with them has always been very pleasant ??

The payout works on a sliding scale where each time you donate in a given month you make $5 more starting at $40. By the end of the month you can get $80 or $85 from one donation. They also have wifi, a book exchange, and everyone's real friendly and professional. 10/10 will get penetrated here again.

The staff is so awesome. They are fast hardworking people. Very friendly. They are like a second family to me.

The staff is great and professional. The whole process is quick and easy! This review would be 5 stars if the compensation was more consistent.

Great customer service by Ashley and Urszula and the Phlebotomists Marianna, April and Miguel are the best!! Management staff is awesome, especially Scott who always goes the extra mile!

I've had so many problems with this place(expired tubes, punctured through the end of my vein) and a new appointment policy that you can't trust (they won't let you in without an appointment)I won't be returning. I would suggest a donation center in Reno, they pay more for the first 10 donations anyway. Worth a little extra drive.

I'll admit this is the cleanest and most organized plasma center I have visited. Allot cleaner then ther Jackson TN office, which definetly should have been condemed. The staffing very friendly and knowledgeable. The starting pay for new donors is set pretty about the same for new donations other plasma centers at 100 dollars first 4 donations, However after the bonus the payout is significantly less tge CSL Plasma around 25 dollars less. There biggest downflaw I noticed was no rewards system to honor exi

Great place, very clean and warm which helps with the donation process. Fantastic and friendly staff who are a big reason im coming back. Would recommend if your looking to donate.

The facility is amazing and the staff is always so professional and fun at the same time. They make getting a 17 gauge needle stuck in you r lookfun and enjoyable ??

I donate in Carson City and all of the staff is so kind and nice. Constantly asking if you are feeling okay. I recommend donating if you haven't before, they make the process go easy.

Friendly and skilled staff. Very clean and professional facility. I can't think of many easier ways to make some money every week than donating plasma sitting there screwing around on your phone like you were gonna go do after work anyways.

The staff is always friendly and courteous. I enjoy coming in to donate. Also, the raffles they hold are fun and encourage donating regularly.

Grifols is AMAZING. everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. my personal favorite is jordan, my veins are little and a pain in the butt & she has mastered it. i definitely recommend coming here! :)

Disregard that other review that says Reno donors can't move to Carson City. As of July 22, 2021: Reno donors can move to the Carson City location. This new facility is so nice, clean, and well organized. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! The waiting area now has outlets so you can change your devices. I think some of the best parts is that you can't listen to your phone without headphones, which is a big deal at the Reno location. There was also a lot of kids in the waiting room being loud in Re

Staff is friendly, facility is clean, and when things go well it's quick and easy. My gripe is that they only use the automatic BP machines. If you are too high they give you option to sit for 15 min and the try again. If it's too high again they send you packing and say you can come back another day. My issue with this is I ALWAYS read way high on the automatic BP machines. They do not have SOPs to accommodate this issue with a manual BP read. So even though my consistently recorded BP from my doctor, and

The staff is wonderful and welcoming and always makes you feel comfortable. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Great place to make a donation!!

I must say this facility hands down is a comfortable clean and friendly atmosphere its quick you get Greeted with a smile several actually and nothing but positive vibes the staff laugh and talk with you and really get to know you makes you feel at home immediately ??

Don't bother with this place. I just drove 45 min donate. I ate breakfast and a big bowl of nuts before leaving the house and that wasn't enough. Complete waste of time.

Absolutely horrible first experience as a first time donor who has never donated before after three times of going back-and-forth between both Carson and (reno) locations and been told multiple excuses none of them the same or coordinating I have up till now been unable to donate ;don't expect to come here on your first time and get in you need at least three or four visits before they even consider you a donor possibility, The establishment itself is very well taken care of and maintained unfortunately the

Usually I have a good experience but today I went in being able to donate and the girl messed up in the system causing me to be differed.i am beyond mad because I live in dayton and can't just come back on a whm. So yeah!

Biomat USA in Carson not only has a very professional and knowledgeable staff, but they are very kind and make you feel welcome every time you donate. It's great to be able to help others through giving plasma - and Biomat In Carson makes it an enjoyable experience. Thanks !

The staff is amazing. I've been donating here since they opened. Nice relaxing environment.

I've been here multiple times and every time the staff are friendly, quick and always willing to chat and laugh. It's honestly fun to come and donate!

Great staff and experience. I just wish they would offer more in the cash settlement for return donors. It's becoming not worth it to come back.

I've been coming here for 7 months. These guys r great. I recommend others to check it out and donate too!

Great staff, they checked up on me throughout my donation process, and we're very friendly! Highly recommend coming here!

Great and kind staff. Making sure everyone is taken care of and very professional. Can't wait to donate again with them.
