Came here today and 11 people waiting for check in-one staff member. A retest walks in. Lol. Not fair to your staff and the clients. Staff is excellent, but this place has zero ability to predict customer flow. Please do better. ***Update- another staff member came. Managers please do more to help you staff and pay them more money. In fact, pay everyone more!! Overall staff is friendly and competent. Some days it takes too long. But not the norm. first time donating!! the process, it was super smooth, I of course wasn't feeling well the first time in the process and the staff treated me so well, they were so kind and made sure I felt okay and was also okay to drive home. They did everything to make sure I wasn't feeling super faint as well. Just amazing, they care for those who are donating! will definitely donate again!!

i've been donating off an on since last year and within the time i come to donate its such a great experience. Ive never felt uncomfortable and i feel as if ive made best friends here. A big shout out to brandon, annette and josh for always making me feel welcomed and my visit the highlight of my day. i look forward to seeing my people twice a week and even more donating to help others.

I originally started donating Plasma in 2013 in Washington State, and then started donating in Reno around 2014/2015. Around 2017 they started struggling with getting a blood pressure reading with the automatic cuffs. I stopped donating due to this. I WAS NEVER DEFERRED. I simply stopped going because it was a waste of my time. Fast forward a few more years and the Carson City location opens. Great! I go in and sure enough the brand new cuffs cannot get a reading. This is my second review, both negative. They discriminate against low income persons for living in low income hotels. I actually have a studio apartment I've lived in for over ten years. The DMV has accepted my address. It appears on my Comercial drivers license as well as my registration. I provided hospital ,bank, and credit statements with the same address as well. I provided a reciepts from my landlord showing I've live at the address since 2015. Their website says to bring proof of address. I

Staff was very friendly when I first donated. The process for my first visit was easy but will take you around 2 or 3 hours but I think it was worth my time. 100% will come back for my second donation.

Always professional. Once and awhile a tech will rush set up and then misses a stick ( or hit a tendon). This place is absolutely marvelous I just want to say I've done this in Florida for a few years at the same company and I wanted to give a shout out to Willow Brittany and E for my first time visit they were absolutely marvelous and made me feel like family and if you want to do a good cause in this world I suggest you come and give plasma to you grifols on Jacks Valley Rd.

Honestly I was a bit skeptical about donating plasma ( even with compensation ) I have to admit, I was really nervous for my 1st time ever donating in my life, but thankfully the staff here was very kind & welcoming, especially Angelina & Mckenzie ( I believe is her name). They were both very knowledgeable and sweet! They walked me through the process and explained everything they were doing as well as ask numerous times if I felt okay. If that ain't customer service than I don't know what is.. Love it??

I have been donating plasma for the past nine years. I have been donating here in Carson since they've opened. I absolutely love it here. It gives me time to relax and read my book. The people and staff are amazing too! The extra money really helps with all of my children and their activities. I couldn't do what I do without this extra income. I consistently come twice a week all the time and have never had any problems.

The Biomat in Carson City has friendly staff who are curtious, helpful, professional and safe. They are very knowledgeable and put worries to rest by answering concerns and needs on the spot. The facility is clean and the process of donating is quick. While voicing my concerns on here Alexander explained how to do my survey and has offered assistance and knowledge when requested. I will continue to donate here.

The facility is clean and comfortable, and very short or no wait times. Please consider donating blood plasma! The need is greater than the supply.

I've been donating since October and everyone at this location is extremely helpful and professional. I did have one instance where my donation took hours due to issues with the needle not hitting the vein correctly, but I was monitored closely and the evening supervisor was finally able to position the needle to draw accurately. Admittedly I was a little nervous to return, but was given attentive care by the 12/13 7AM staff and my reassurance has returned. I feel so confident in the quality of every member

Been donating here for a while and they're usually pretty good about doing what they need to do and the staff is pretty awesome however they're changing their system and I had to go through that process today. And if you were ever in the old system or donated at Reno at one time you will have to have some kind of managerial approval to lift a deferral from them so make sure you got the time. More training is probably needed, so veins don't get wrecked. Paying staff good wage would probably help. Staff are super nice. Business is business though. Saving pennies where they can. Risks are everywhere and you are warned in writing, but they are supposed to almost never happen.

I've been coming twice a week since the beginning of 2022, and have never had an unpleasant experience. The people that work here are all very kind and helpful, and I'm glad to have developed such a good rapport with them in the time I've been coming. The money is good too; an easy extra $100 a week is nothing to turn your nose up at. (I've also been told that if more people come and donate regularly, that weekly amount will increase for everyone, so come donate your plasma!!)

I been donating since 2019 in Fresno California. I have just started donating again about a week now at the Carson city location and I never had any bad experiences donating. The staff is kind friendly and funny. I always have a good time when I am there

I gave 2 stars because I'm not donor. I just moved from California, I was looking a donor center to donate, but, after see the payments I decided don't do it. In California the first month was $800, $200 each week. After that, $$100 per week, and sometimes we get $50 bonus.

I used to donate in Reno, now I am registered at Jacks Valley Carson City. I love the staff they are so kind and helpful. They also help you feel comfortable. The equipment is new and improved, so you get in and out, so you can get on with your day. The payment is put on a bank card, so payment is easy. Twice a week I get 45 mins to myself. I just recently transferred back to this location. Mostly for the convenience of the commute. But also for the experience. The staff in this location are fantastic, energetic and friendly people. It's hard to leave this place after a donation without a smile.

My first donation went well! But my second donation was not enjoyable. The person who was putting the needle in my arm was supposed to have someone watching him but he said, "Don't bother getting him he's on break." Then he had to ask the other person who was doing needles to check if he got it right. The other person readjusted it in my arm. They both didn't feel confident with it in my arm. They didn't go get their supervisor just asked me if I would consent to them going threw my other arm. I said, "No!"

I have been donating here since 8/2022. The experience is alway exceptional. Annette and Kefe are both so awesome. All the staff are friendly and make the experience fun.

I did my first ever plasma donation here and it was a great experience! Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. The process was very straight forward and a staff member is there to assist you every step of the way. And best of all, it was painless!

Would not recommend. After multiple donations with no issue, they told my husband he tested positive for HIV. Several more tests of the same and other samples came back negative, as did the test from an independent lab. Clearly an error occurred somewhere, which happens. I get it. But they have no resolution process for this, and he and I are now both permanently banned from donating, because of ?protocol.? Not sure how protocol protects errors on their part with no accountability, but this is a disservice

The payout works on a sliding scale where each time you donate in a given month you make $5 more starting at $40. By the end of the month you can get $80 or $85 from one donation. They also have wifi, a book exchange, and everyone's real friendly and professional. 10/10 will get penetrated here again.

I've had so many problems with this place(expired tubes, punctured through the end of my vein) and a new appointment policy that you can't trust (they won't let you in without an appointment)I won't be returning. I would suggest a donation center in Reno, they pay more for the first 10 donations anyway. Worth a little extra drive.

I'll admit this is the cleanest and most organized plasma center I have visited. Allot cleaner then ther Jackson TN office, which definetly should have been condemed. The starting pay for new donors is set pretty about the same for new donations other plasma centers at 100 dollars first 4 donations, However after the bonus the payout is significantly less tge CSL Plasma around 25 dollars less. Staff is friendly, facility is clean, and when things go well it's quick and easy. My gripe is that they only use the automatic BP machines. If you are too high they give you option to sit for 15 min and the try again. If it's too high again they send you packing and say you can come back another day. My issue with this is I ALWAYS read way high on the automatic BP machines. They do not have SOPs to accommodate this issue with a manual BP read.
