Brandon is always so gentle! He smiles and makes sure I'm comfortable, prepared to be poked. Honestly he's my favorite. The site never get sore or irritated when Brandon pokes me. Thanks Brandon, for your fast efficient work, as well as your kindness.
I had never donated plasma before coming here. This place has made me feel I will never donate plasma again. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. I did not feel safe allowing them to take my plasma and they scam you. I thought donating plasma would be a cool way to make some extra income and help people but they treat you like dirt here. They genuinely do not care about their customers. If you're new to plasma donation, I hope you find a better place and have a much better experience than I h
Best center in the city. The whole crew, Alyssa, Brandon, Bear, Kim, Marcus, everyone. Everyone does their best to make us comfortable. Everytime I have ever had a problem with my donation they fix it, best sticks in town for sure. Also they do run promotions occasionally. Also the manager Marshall is top notch, you can see it carry through the employees. Huge thanks for all their dedication.
Dex was excellent. I've always had issues staying calm when I know needles are coming near by body, but he was able to help me relax while explaining the process in a way I could understand. He's made me feel better about doing this.
I am treated with respect when I come here, which is different from the other plasma donation centers in this town. The employees actually like their job and it shows. Marcus always makes me feel so welcome and the whole experience is nice.
This new way of donating sucks. The new staff is incompetent. Just digging in your arm with the needle ?? trying to find your vein. You ask for someone more experienced, they get an attitude and say there's no one more experienced available. Marcus is one of the best ones there , but this place is going down hill with incompetence and staffing issues. Needs to be addressed. Be aware when you go in
This place is trash and a rip off! I set up my appointment an make it there an everything is going okay, until I tell them my medicine. One of which is an inhaler for chest congestion, I have never been diagnosed with asthma or copd, and it was prescribed by my Military Doctor. And because of that I was turned away. Don't waste your time here go to a different center! Can't believe that they treat veterans and their spouse's unfairly. I'm high disappointed and let down by the lack of medical information and
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at the Grifols plasma donation center on 3776 Airport Rd. in Colorado Springs. Despite being a long-time plasma donor, I was unjustly turned away based solely on the color of my skin. The staff didn't take the time to check my protein, blood pressure, or hematocrit levels, which are standard checks for all donors. Their dismissive and rude attitude only compounded the feeling of discrimination I experienced. I highly recommend choosing CSL Plasma instead,
Marcus is out going and friendly. Gives a great experience when he is working and is welcoming to everyone. He is a valuable asset for your team
Marcus is the life of the place. You walk in and it's always a how are you doing how you been. He's literally one of the reasons I keep coming back. Feels like family in here honestly.
Is a good place and always had fun making jokes with the folks there usually and even though I have a dislike for needles they help me when I was there and such. But anyways yeah good place.
I've been to several places best place I've ever been to Kiori took care of me was very general and fast. Lindsey was also very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend!!
The staff was very nice and helpful. The process was quick, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I think the needle was left in a little too long, which caused a minor reaction, but they gave me some ice, and it went away in about a couple of hours. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I truly appreciate what you all do. Thank you!
I'm not the biggest fan of needles, but Dex made the experience calming and easy. Shout out to him but all the staff was great!
It was my first time donating plasma and it is something I wanted to do begore graduation but never got the chance to. Dexter helped ease my worries and made it easier than I thought it would be.
The professional staff makes donations easy as can be. Generally fast in and out. Make sure to eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating.
I cannot recommend Dex hard enough. Such a kind professional, making sure the screening goes so smoothly and carefully! Thank you so, so much, Dex!
Great facility. Very nervous but Dex was the first person to greet me once I stepped inside the building., He was helpful & kind welcoming me to the facility.
Dex and Marcus always making my experience better I love how kind and thoughtful they are about the people in here just not myself.
I've been donating here for a few months now, and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is always friendly, and I love how quickly they get me in and out of there. I have had bad luck with getting stuck in the past by inexperienced phlebotomists, but I have yet to have a bad or painful stick here. All of the phlebotomists are well trained and confident. Nikki and Marcus are probably who I see the most and they're both extremely pleasant and great at their jobs. There are others I also really enjo
I was permanently differed today due to them changing management several times & the new managers not knowing or caring to take the time to look into things. There was an article that ran in the Colorado Gazette on 3/26/23 and 2 more after about my macular degeneration. Well apparently the plasma spot got word so they flagged me. Mind you I've been a donor for years. Which has been disclosed since day one of my visits back when Leon was running the center. Now the new folks refuse to accept the fact that I
I've donated twice and both times were welcoming and inviting! My sister works here and recommended I come for a donation. I get nervous with needles but Kayla and Hailey were pros! I barely even felt it! And the whole staff was kind and fun! I will definitely consider donating again!
As a first-time donor, had a really great experience. The first donation is quite the process, and I was there for about 1.5 - 2 hours, but that was to be expected. I appreciate everyone explaining the process. My second donation was much faster, I was in and out in under an hour. I appreciate the wonderful staff there; they make things smooth and comfortable. Marcus, Savannah, Hayley, Alissa, and many others who I wish I would have caught their name. The first donation compensation is great and so is the r
Dex is diligent and attentive to my needs when drawing blood and is generally fun to be around. Very good service!
Do not donate here they test your blood and if there's a false positive they do not do additional testing to confirm or deny it. Would NOT recommend this place ever!
Dex is always a kind and caring face to see around, always makes sure I'm comfy, even though I'm a complete coward when it comes to needles, he kept me reassured during it all. Thanks Dex!
I was nervous about getting my blood drawn, but the staff really assured me and helped me get through the experience. Shoutout to Dex who helped me understand!
The wait to donate is not nearly as long here as it is at Biolife, but they let way too many people book in one time slot on their busiest days so when it is really bad the wait can be up to 45 minutes. The money rates they give their donors fluctuate often because the company wants to save as much money as possible and I have had to wait up to a week to get paid for my plasma sometimes because they overwhelm their workers. It's not that good of a neighborhood which is not as big of an issue but people of
Came to leave a review and was shocked by a review regarding Nikki on a day I was there. That day Nikki was on the floor prepping bins and carts for the next day. We saw and heard her ask the other employee nicely to help her put away the cart (with bins that Nikki filled up). She was not rude or demanding or screaming at anyone. Simply just asking for help. I saw with my own two eyes, the other employee ignore her completely. Nikki has always made donating a pleasant experience. We love coming in just to s
I donate all the time here at Biomat and I love it because it's convenient and the process is so quick and smooth compared to other plasma centers . Love the workers here too and the management is awesome.. everyone here is always so welcoming Marcus is funny and nicole everytime I donate I see her..such a great hard worker always acknowledges donors and makes them laugh a lot, caring and has an awesome and outgoing personality. Along with a couple other girls i forgot their names will get it next time?but
The team here is so caring and they cater to all their donor's time. They really make the whole experience feel safe and welcoming. Shoutout to Marshal, Scott, Riley, Donnalee and Marcus.
dex did a great job at finding a vein! normally I get bruises afterward, but I never did with him
Kiory is a good worker she is helpful and also Lindsey I love them
A great place ran by good people. Marcus always brings life to the party.
Dex is the best and provides a comfortable experience! I recommend this establishment and the workers are phenomenal
Hands down one of the best places to donate plasma. They pay well and you help people so it's a win win. The staff are all absolutely amazing, but if I had to chose one Marcus is the one who in my opinion keeps that place lively. He is always happy, always has people laughing, hes outgoing and compassionate and he cares. He checks on everyone throughout the entire process, and makes sure everything is going good and that you are okay. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone.
I've had a better experience donating at Grifols than I've had at LFB. Plus the staff is very attentive and stay aware of everyone so we all are comfortable through the process. The machines at Grifols are newly equipped so I'm in and out in a flash. Grifols is farther from my house than LFB, but it's worth the travel.
Marcus & friends at Grifols are always very personable, treat me with care and quality service.
Nikki gives amazing services & always has a positive vide no matter what! Never have problems, always have a smooth donations with her! Seems like someone who works there is intimidated by Nikki & her amazing work ethics! Jealously truly is an ugly disease! ??????? Keep up the great work Nikki! Never stop being your amazing self!
Grifols is awesome but what makes it so welcoming is MARCUS.! he's so awesome.!
I had a great experience donating plasma today. It was my first time and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Shelisa was awesome and explained everything so well. She talked me through everything she was doing and everything I would need to do to successfully donate. Don't be afraid to donate they make it so easy to do.
If you're looking to make a little extra cash, save people, and have a good time this is the place to go. Shelisa is such a sweet person to talk to and makes sure she says hi to me whenever I come in. I look forward to my weekly visits here. Shout out to marcus who you can count on to always come with lots of energy and great conversation and can easily include all the clients. Honestly all in all a great staff. Only complaint is sometimes they're really busy but shows they're good at what they do. Had to
Went in today and the guy just jammed the needle in me. Did not clean the area first or anything. Did not like that at all.
I enjoy coming to this place. It's usually relatively quick. Staff is friendly. Shelisa is my favorite stick. I hardly feel their poke when she does it! She's also so friendly, welcoming and a great face to see when donating. I wanted to hop on here and mention Marcus? great energy! I've been to plasma donation centers where the staff was rude and bossy. This place is far from that. I enjoy this for extra money to pay bills, quiet time away from the kids to read but to have such friendly staff like Marcus a
I dont appreciate Nicole yelling at me for accidently sitting in the wrong chair. Everyone else was so nice but she's gotta be on some kind of power trip. she also used the r slur which I found exceedingly offensive. Overall, a donation completely ruined by a horrid employee.
Hey, I love the center so much every single employee in there is not only nice but they are caring and it makes the experience a lot fun to deal with which is crazy for someplace. We are giving your blood but no especially Nichole ???? shout out to her. she's really nice she's really friendly and she made the donation process goes so smoothly. Thank you so so much.
I've been doing my donations out here for a few months now and It's always extremely fast getting in and out of here which is always a great thing. I've probably had Dakota take care of me every time I've came here for my check-ins before I start my donations and he's always friendly and asking about my day and week. So if anyone needs extra cash you gotta come check this place out!!!
I've been donating at the Grifols Biomat in Colorado Springs for almost three years. I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly, professional, and hard working. My payment always shows up on my card shortly after I leave. If you are a plasma donor, this is the place to go.
I book my appointments on the website and also use the express kiosk before I arrive. Once I get there, I'm called within 5-10 minutes to check vitals. Once that's done I head to the donation floor and usually am hooked up within a few minutes. The pay is awesome!!! The NEW staff is very friendly and professional and Marshall (Manager) is great! I would definitely recommend this location however, I haven't been to any other locations in CS.
I went to donate blood the other day, and one of the employees, Nicole was screaming at one of the newer employees. Nicole wasn't even a manager. I watched her scream and berate this poor girl who was managing the floor with myself and other donors alone. Nicole didn't even help with cleaning her own donors area, she left puddles of blood on the floor and screamed at this newer employee for not moving fast enough when she tried to clean not only her area but Nicole's area. And the actual managers, did nothi
These reviews are bogus. Staff is and always will be incompetent as long as upper Management allows donor safety to be compromised in order to increase production.
Always a great experience when I donate ! Nikki is the best! She always has a smile on her face. Very professional and gentle hands.
I absolutely love this plasma center. It's really fast, hardly any waiting. Love having the option to do express kiosk on the app, it makes the process much easier. The nicest staff I have ever met. Literally everyone is amazing. And there is an employee that can sang!!
This place is wonderful. I recommend to anyone looking to donate their plasma. Its a bit of driving come down here, but I don't mind because of the great people that work here. Today, I had issue with blood clotting and was unable to donate. However, the phlebotomist were extremely diligent in trying their best to get things sorted out and making sure I was doing okay. Again, I highly recommend this place and everyone here is wonderful.
I can make an appointment through the donor hub app and answer kiosk questions online! I am almost always greeted in the booth by Dakota who makes sure it is safe for me to donate he is so nice and thorough!! He brings great success to this company and when I'm actually donating I have became aquatinted with Shelisa she is amazing at what she does ! She so sweet and nice and has a good stick. My donating process always goes by so smooth and fast when she is on the floor and she should be employee of the mon
I went in for my first plasma donation today. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, accommodating, and super informative. By my own neglect of not eating a good breakfast beforehand, I felt very dizzy towards the end and the nurses were so amazing with addressing the issue and helping me snap out of it. Overall, the place had a good energy between the staff and clients.
Like to make assumptions based off appearances. Quick to judge not very helpful. Not one to care about the individual and the employees were extremely rude. Would never go here. Talecris is even worse. Don't go to these sister companies!!
I really despise the entire process but the staff really makes it the best and comfortable as possible. I've been coming here for over a decade and the experience is still the best in town. Shelise, Julia, Marcus and the rest of the staff have been an integral part in making each visit as painless as it could be.
I have had such a great experience at Grifols. I absolutely enjoy coming here & helping save lives, but Dakota is by far one of my favorites! He is awesome & so friendly. If you've thought about donating plasma, but never jumped, I would highly recommend coming here!
Nicole is one of the sweetest employees at your center, she is so helpful and knowledgeable. I just appreciate her work ethic. Thank you Nicole for everything you do to make my donations great.
This place has the best staff ever!!! Alyssa, Dakota, Allie, Marcus,Riley, Chalisa,Chris, Lyn And many many more.Including managers Marshall and Javier. The place is cleanWith a great attitudes. Makes it as enjoyable as possible to donate.
I have been a regular donor here for about 3 years, and this place has come a long way. Since I started. Great staff, and I hope that they all stick around awhile. Love seeing Marcus when I come in. He is a great guy and adds a positive energy to the place. Allie is wonderful and always super friendly and has a beautiful smile that lightens the place up. Now if she can only remember where New England is and the states that make it up.??
Dakota and his team are always professionally friendly, welcoming & at the ready to reassure clients on an understanding or question they may have! By far my go-to and recommendation for anyone looking to come join the good cause of donating!
I'm thankful for all the awesome staff at Grifols in Colorado Springs but today I especially want to complement Dakota for his professionalism and care as he does his job and builds relationships with the clients who come to donate. Keep up the good work Dakota!
The people and atmosphere is top notch. Great vibes. They really take care of you and make sure to keep you comfortable throughout the whole process. Make sure you go when Alexis is working! She is gentle and keeps you laughing. I really enjoy all of the Phlebs here.
This company has zero respect for us as donors, our time, or our finances. From cancelling promotions halfway through to cut costs and screwing us over, to weeks late retroactive deferrals for things like proteins that, being weeks late, is completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and no longer relevant. And then you have to wait up to a GD month to get the results back sometimes. They say up to ten days, but it's way beyond that usually. And then you have to wait for a medical staff member to VERIFY THAT
Excellent people. Often very busy, all of which everyone stays cool and calm. Lots of volunteers in and out and yet they often make it feel like family. Highly recommend this location if interested in donating plasma.
This is the best plasma donation center in the Springs. Every single staff member is extremely friendly and makes you feel safe and comfortable. I look forward to seeing them each week as they truly brighten my day! Marcus is exceptionally helpful and kind and I am grateful for the great care he takes with his guests. Juliah and Alyssa are the sweetest and always go out of their way to make sure you are doing ok during the process. Dakota is super knowledgeable and even gave me some great tips to make sure
Marcus made it quick and painless for my first time back
I have been donating plasma at Grifols Biomat for about 8 months and I love all the staff!! Dakota is always welcoming when I check in at the desk. Shalise is friendly and gentle when inserting the needle. The staff always has a smile on their face and are very friendly. They make everyone feel comfortable.
I am displeased with my time with one particular person I dont know her name cus she never wears her badge but every time she sticks me she doesnt do a good job sometimes having to restick me or my arm is extremely sore after donating when being stuck by her. I've seen her also have miscues on other patients.
Very professional staff. Never had any issues donating at this location. Would highly recommend. Update: 99% of the staff is outstanding except for this tall lanky kid with a mullet. Not sure what he does there, maybe an errand boy or something. Anyways, a lady told me she'd be right with me and a minute later the kid was yelling across the office to me telling me to sit like I was a dog or something. Very rude. He definitely needs an attitude check. Maybe some retraining on how to talk to people. Also, th
I donate regularly at Biomat, all the staff is very friendly, clean, and quick service. My Fav employee is Shalisa, she is always very attentive and friendly. I always look forward to going in twice a week, to having funny conversations with the staff and enjoy my time donating plasma. I would totally suggest others check this place out!!!
Horrible experience here! I was told to bring in mail showing my current address. I was assisted by multiple employees and was never told my mail had to be within 60 days! I showed up to donate after driving 20 minutes home to get my mail. When I got back I was then told it had to be within 60 days. Unable to donate after waisting my time going home! I do not recommend. I was helped by Chris up front and he was very rude and not willing to help!!!
Have been donating here for almost a year now. It's always a welcoming environment. The staff is always kind and helpful.
We loved this place!! We went in on 02/26/2021 and were treated with respect and the staff was amazing! We went in around noon and the staff was energetic and set our nerves at ease with their humour and kindness to us. Thank you all!! One gentleman in particular actually sang and his voice was lovely. Please give your staff a big raise in pay. Formerly, I had donated at CSL in Colorado Springs but they were so rude and the staff had actually forgotten about me and left me for an hour waiting to be released
I only recently started donating plasma. I've always been nervous about it and never wanted to. This is the first and only place I've been and I won't go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and immediately alieviated my anxiety. Shelisa is one of the technicians I've worked with who made me feel very comfortable while I was there. It was nice talking with her and the hook up to the machine was seamless, quick, and I didn't feel any discomfort. Thanks for the good experience, Shelisa :)
The staff here is wonderful. Every time I come in, the environment is always great and relaxed, lab techs are awesome, and everyone is super friendly. I'm always in and out pretty quick so definitely can't complain :) Frankie and Dominic were very helpful today during my donation. Really everyone is great but those are the two from today that I remember.
The staff is awesome. They help me feel comfortable, like the environment is one among friends. They answer all my questions, even when I'm just curious about how the machines work and what all the numbers means. It's just a good place to go.
It's been a pleasure donating to a center that truly cares. Shelisa is my girl. She has this calming witchery that puts you at ease, I have severe anxiety, but Shelisa helps me forget about it for a moment, we always find something to laugh about ,and even though this place can be packed full some days, I do not have any episodes, they make you feel comfortable and welcome and like an old friend welcoming you in each and everytime. They make the process fast, and are super friendly. You almost don't want to
We all love Marcus I can tell he really care about the donors?? He will spark up a genuine conversation asking how's life going and things like that. As a 27 year old man. I can look up to him as a role model?? He's very positive and keeps the energy up for the workers after 5 or near closeIng Saying things like let's go keep up the good work or things like we're almost there Or just saying job to his fellow employees?? Marus is Definitely a good leader
Kim is awesome and made the hard part (Getting poked) the easiest of my visit!! I always have an awesome experience with the whole staff. Thank you all for everything you do and the absolute best customer service!!
I've been donating here for just under two years and have had nothing but great experiences. The entire staff is amazing, especially Ms. Shelise! She one of the best!
Great place! amazing medical and line staff!!
This place was great when i first started, lately I've been waiting 30min to an hr in the lobby to be screened. Then another 20-30min to get a bed. My machine went off and waited 15min to get disconnected when it only takes me 35min to donate. The staffs there chit chatting too much with customers instead of getting everyone in and out!! I can't even go there after work anymore because it's a long wait when before they would get me in and out in less then a hr. !!
If only i could give them a 10 star. The employees are nice, social and good sense of humor. Their services is a 10/10 this is my favorite place. They payed me well due to promo and that covered my rent which i was needing 200$ ill definitely come back
They deferred me because I asked for a Gatorade so they deferred me and they talking about that I was being rude to the people and that's a lie so they deferred you for any stupid thing
The staff is always friendly and very professional. They always call me by my first name and I feel appreciated every time I donate. I have never had a bad experience with any of the techs and always feel comfortable with the donating procedure. Thank you Noelle, Samantha, Riley, Debbie, Lee, Donna, Olya, and the rest of team for an outstanding job!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
