I had a wonderful and smooth experience my first time donating here. Ladonna was a warm, wonderful, and welcoming nurse that definitely was thorough and efficient with the registering process. Georgia was wonderful at her job of handling me safely and with care, never causing any discomfort and moving very comfortably in her job while staying friendly and attentive! All the staff, even through dealing with the pressures of being understaffed when I visited, had wonderful and lively attitudes with a pleasant
The staff very nice and explain everything and very clean and they make you feel very welcome and to get started was so easy. I'm very happy with staff there especially the ones that have to stick you because I have problems with being a hard stick when I go to the hospital but the ones back there in the back seem to always get me on the first stick and they explain everything every time and how much you're donating that day in plasma cause this does change each time that you donate the number could go up o
This place deserves 0 stars a lack of communication then when Mrs Georgia got Frustrated just took me off the machine because her Frustrations and now I gotta wait a month and a have this place should be under review because someone could have let me know something then a month in half wait is crazy on there end not mines hilly pissed rn
This is the worst place to go! Wolf is rude and totally disrespectful to the donors. He doesn't know how to take a blood pressure on people. I called the manger and told her what all happened and explained what all happened and she hung up in my face.
I was super nervous my first few visits. Walking in, the facility is very clean, and mostly every one is friendly. They are very informative and answer all questions I ask. They respond insanely quick to any adverse reactions during donation. I couldn't ask for a better experience each visit. Major shout out to Ashley, Latisha, Amanda, Megan, and the one up front with the really cute earrings and short hair. Y'all are the BOMB!
I sent a complaint regarding a referral to corporate and a male manager called me the day before Thanksgiving 2023 to ask about my complaint. I explained it and he told me he would try and find a way to tie my out of town referral to me then call me back the day after Thanksgiving. I am still waiting on that call back. I asked him about it in February 2024 and he acted like he didn't have a clue. This is my biggest issue. Do what you say! The floor personnel are awesome! Always have a smile on their faces.
I've been coming here on and off for over a year now, and I have to say that the staff is wonderful. The center is always clean and welcoming. All staff is knowledgeable and is able to answer any questions I have at any time. I'm always in and out of the center within an hour. I will continue to donate to help save some lives.
The entire staff is nice and professional, a great place to donate. But a shout out to Georgia for being the absolute best. Never a moment of pain with her.
I am proud of being apart here I've been donating for over a year and they make everyone feel like there time an life matters almost like family. Also meet friendly donors that become like great neighbors, and they are fast on patient emergencies during times when needed they all pull together u can tell that every life an second matters!! #bigloveforallemployees an they service ??
Don't understand why theyd update the app out the blue ,been trying to log into my account to schedule an appointment and nothing is working properly this is a recurring issue!!
Location is run with great service with quality ladies and gents who are of the upmost professional in their work with positive outlooks on coming to work and getting the job done efficiently. Couldn't recommend a better staff to trust more under the Grifols name.
I've been contemplating on posting this review for a while now, but I am absolutely disgusted with this place and the people that work here, especially the manager Michael and Megan who works in the back. My experiences were okay at first but steadily starting getting worse. Some of the staff upfront (not all, but most) are rude and make you uncomfortable. If you make it back, the staff is often times talking crap about the donors out loud, especially if you come within the last hour before close. During o
Very fast . Polite and friendly staff. With people like Sade, Megan, Nicole and Amanda you feel taken care of and appreciated, I have donated here for years and recommended it to others.
Great environment great people nice attitudes everyone is all ways nice. I love coming here it's always a good experience.
If you want to donate Plasma, save yourself tons of headaches, by avoiding this location. My main issue lies with their INACCURATE TESTING. After visiting this location, I was told that I had an infection THAT I NEVER HAD, and, I was "deferred" from donating anywhere, until it was resolved at Grifols. I physically delivered written documentation proving their tests to be false/inaccurate, and, I was treated rudely, from the time that I arrived., until the time that I left. I thought that since it was their
I would give 0 stars if I could. Due to some moron that works there, they put false info in my chart info saying I provided unreliable information so I am permanently deferred. However the information I provided was 100% accurate. It's absolutely absurd that I am being told I can't donate because of someone else screwing something up. I provided all documents and proof of everything needed.
I have no complaints what so ever. Everyone seems friendly and spoke to me every time I come in. Sometimes there is a little wait before can start donating but only because the place is full
I have been donating two years. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I feel like family. The facility is always spotless clean.
Would waste my time ,the donor hub has been down for several days,so I can't even set up my next appointment for next week ,and even if you manage to get in ,you're gonna be in an uncomfortable environment because they can't play music, and you can't use the WiFi because that's down as well ??
Had a great visit today. Nicole is awesome. I like coming here. Missed a couple of them but sure u see them Thursday
everybody here is so nice and welcoming and helpful, you get to know them all and are on a first name basis. they're always open to any questions you may have. i definitely recommend grifols in danville. plus you'd be saving a life!!
I really enjoy helping people by donating plus it's helping me get by with the bills I think Nicole should be a supervisor just because of the way she carries herself and I think ms Georgia is always a blessing OK honey, so I just push post, I was waiting to be taken off the machine and I was listening to the ladies about passing the audit and how they would really appreciate it if they were all given a big meal like in the old days they really deserve it because they are the one's who run it for real
It's a wonderful place I've been coming here for years always welcome and clean the staff always friendly
I love all of the people there. Everyone is so friendly and during Covid, when you couldn't really go anywhere, I felt like they were family (still do!). Plus it's a really good feeling to help save a life with hardly making any effort other than laying in a chair for about an hour. Pay them a visit!
Had a beautiful visit. Meagan was wonderful and just love Tish and Nicole. Everyone is awsome
Everyone is so polite and graceful.. I love you all!! Great staff and managers
All the staff are respectful and they are very professional. I definitely will recommend them to go too
They make donating easy. There are several steps to go through before donating to make sure we are healthy enough to donate. They are super nice!
My experience has been good,I have never had a problem coming to this donate place. I been coming for couple years, never nice people and helpful.
All these folks are really nice, helpful, and friendly! I've always had good experiences here!
Had beautiful vst. April, e.j ,Meagan TamaJa. They are all wonderful. Makes me want vist. I love TamaJa and Tish. Thank you all so much
Need to pay people more this is highway robbery
Absolutely GARBAGE ??. Would Never recommend anyone here! The staff is beyond reproach. Absolutely no professionalism and the technicians behave as if you, I.E the donor are an inconvenience. The work culture and attitude towards donors needs to change!!!!!!!!!
Zero stars. I've been coming since 2020 for extra gas money as I drive an hour to work. After being pulled to the back to check my veins (no communication there what so ever) the lady looked at my veins and said, "you can go back to the front." I waited for about ten minutes and finally someone called me to ask what I had been waiting on and I explained the situation. She went to the back and from there I could here the lady yell "NO!" very loudly. I'm assuming it was about the situation at hand. They sent
Donating plasma at Grifols (Danville, VA) is easy, fast & worthwhile. Not only are you compensated for your donation, you are helping to save lives in the process. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. -5 Stars ??????????
I love this place the staff are very compassionate, sweet they are very helpful and they will keep you laughing
Very respectful and professional people! Great experience and definitely loving coming here!
It used to be a good experience until they acted inconsiderate to a situation I had there. It will not be a loss to me. My skin is sensitive but workers should take responsibility for what they done. They better Thank Jesus I didn't SUE them. Plasma Center, do Better take more concern into your clients.
I enjoy coming to this center to donate. The staff members are like family. They are very down to earth here .
I love going to Grifols Biomat all of the employees are very sweet and they really care about us and our health. I will never go anywhere else they will always be my favorite ??
Grate place and the staff is nice and passionate everyone is professional and proud of the work they do
December 15, 2023 I was placed in the first bay at 8:15 am. I wasn't even looked at until 8:53am.Even tho there was four workers on the floor. However other donors who came in way after me that was placed in the second bay preferably six other donors was hooked up and ran before me.I felt so tired, disrespected, and disregarded.I started to leave. This constant unprofessional behavior.I pray that somebody from corporate office would audit this center surveillance camera was confirmation.
One of the most unprofessional places I have ever seen. Staff rude and don't let you see their name tags and will tell you anything that will stop you from donating if you show up after 6pm. . BioLife pays more money and are much more professional
Excellent Staff. Friendly people and loads of laughter with every visit
Friendly staff, clean facility. They make the experience comfortable and thoroughly explain everything on your first visit. Donors get compensated and the plasma goes to making life saving medications and treatments, which i think is really cool. Its a win-win. You get to help people in need and you get compensated for your time. Would definitely recommend!
I have never been more disrespected in my life. I work night shift 12hour shift. I went in right after work. They said I had an strong odor coming from me. So I went home took a shower changed clothes and went back and talked to Michael the center director. And all he did was stick up for his staff and still did not let me donate.the staff is rude and unprofessionalit was the worst experience I would not recommend them to anyone
I've never had to wait a long time during my visits. Would give 5 stars but some of the staff members on the donating floor need to work on their people skills. All in all it's a clean donation center and the flat rate of $50 for each donation isn't a bad thing.
They have some of the nices people I'm have ever meet and they have greet service
This is the place to go the employes are really what made me feel like your among family and when I say that it's really true.Clean peaceful environment I would recommend this location as the go to place if you every consider donating plasma and with the new donor's it's a great way to acquire some extra spending money for a little time out of your day and hey you will also be helping save someone life in the process!! Win/win so stop and check them out you want regret it I promise
One star. Would not recommend at all. Went there and did all the screening and physical and finger stick, when it comes time to take my blood pressure the lady pulls out this wireless blood pressure cuff and tells me to stay completely still while it's running. Note she was watching me the entire time. It was giving an error message and she said after 3 errors you can't donate that day and you will have to go through the entire screening process to donate again. It kept giving the error message and all she
Excellent Staff. Friendly people and loads of laughter with every visit
Went a year ago with a friend and decided to donate myself. I was told that I couldn't because I was, at that time, taking blood pressure medicine. I came back a year and a few months later (today) and was told I was on a permanent block from donating because when I had come in previously I told them I was only on one prescription. Apparently my PC sent a form advising that I was also taking supplements and allergy medicine and another prescription. I explained that I had quit taking the other prescription
great place the ppl are dope very nice i recommend it for so side cash.
Love staff!! They are very clean. Ej is my favorite. It's all about helping people but she makes sure you're comfortable and the needle doesn't hurt when she put it in at all! Just love EJ every time I go I make sure I ask for her section
Great staff!! Very friendly and they all work great together.
Fast paced, and always make sure I'm comfortable. The employees take the time to ensure safety procedures are effective, and used every time. I have recommended 6 people so far!
I've been coming here since I was 18years they have been very good to me an nice I have a good time at grifols.
Great place to go, friendly staff members clean Environment,1st time Donor and it took awhile filling out the paperwork but they walk you thru it but next visit will not take as long unless they are busy and told me to drink plenty of water the night before and in the morning to and eat something healthy before coming in it want take as long, THANK YOU GUYS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Started donating a few weeks ago and have had a great experience every time I've been!!
Never a problem. Helpful staff. Low to no wait time.
I have to say it would have been a better experience if a certain older white nurse who I call, Nurse Ratched wasn't so mean. She obviously hates working with the public and should try a little kindness or find another line of work.
This nurse name Nicole had written on my file that I was rude because I walked out ? because I had to be at work and I was not rude and I was not hooked up to a machine? I also called to talk to Michael the manager or owner or what ever he is he lied and said he would call me back Thursday he didn't I went up there Thursday come to find out he was on vacation u have some very rude people there how u supposed to save a life if u can't treat the people with kindness while ur there smh I have never caused a pr
I had a great time at biomat USA. The ladies there are too kind. Terrific customer service and very fast. I would go back everyday if I could. I felt like I was home away from home.
Generally a good experience overall but today kinda sucked. Stuck a bunch of times, bleeding all over and was sent home with 5 bucks. They said I'd get my full payment but I guess not. They decided to compensate me, thank you all. They did right by me so I look forward to future visits.
I must say going in to this business and helping someone continue life is a blessing in it's self. This place is clean and that makes a big difference . Hats off to the staff continue to be professional and sincere in what you do.
The place is really well ran and the staff are very polite. I started coming when I was in a pinch for money but I've been coming for 2 years and every experience has been great.
The staff is very friendly and the whole donation process went smoothly. I live in North Carolina and it's a 45 mins drive but it is worth the drive. I highly recommend Biomat to anyone who is wanting to donate plasma.
Best employee ever and hard worker they definitely get the job done
I like donating here. The techs are like family. My wife and I have been coming here for 2yrs. Everyone here is very perfessional and friendly. We travel 45 minutes one way because we are comfortable here
The staff is highly motivated an does well with communication with thier patients.
ENJOY the laid back and comfort of being pampered and watching TV while doing a little something to give back to help others. You guys are the greatest and thanks for your patience in caring for each and every one of us. LOVE, CHARLOTTE
I love coming to VA Biomat all the staff are Excellent. I use to have my favorites to get stuck by lol but now I'm in good with everyone. shout out to Tamika , Jennifer, Tisha, Ms Debra, Ms Georgia, Ms Barbara, Sheryl at front desk and Terrisa at front desk. You guys are awesome.
Go an sign up , if you use my name as a referral they will give you extra money after a certain amount of times , ELIJAH SNYDER as the referral. They pay good an the staff is really nice . Not to mention your saving lives. Thanks guys .
Always very polite and friendly I love coming here
Very professional staff. Fast and courteous. Process is seamless
The Staff is cool, amazing , and very nice. Thank you staff! ??
Been donating here for 3 years now and its been amazing to watch this place transform over those years. Friendly caring staff makes it all worth while! Cant wait to see what 2019 brings!
Great people. Good energy. A safe place to donate to save lives!
Great place friendly staff very considerate of there patients
I am a regular donor. I will agree that some of the staff are not the most friendly or caring sorts. However there are some really helpful and great staff members there. Mrs. Barbara, Christy, Rhona, Jennifer and Tameka are very good at sticking donors without causing and pain or discomfort and they make a lot of my visits easier. I wouldn't recommend the Asian lady. I had her stick me today and it was awful. She didn't properly palpitate my vein and when she stuck me it hurt, so much in fact that it took m
Very nice friendly people. Georgia and Meghan are especially nice.
They didn't let me donate because I have a tattoo that's a year old but they tried to tell me it looked new but I had proof that it was a year old even offered to call the person who did it so basically a waste of time
Had a great experience at Biomat in Danville, Virginia today, as usual. The staff is efficient, professional, and friendly. It's a great way to help save lives and make extra money.
Not worth the time! My first visit, I was there for 1 hour and 37 minutes! Said I was not hydrated enough! Came back 2 days later and sat there an hour! I told them the kiosk said something was wrong! Sat there another 10 minutes and they were continuously calling people who just walked in! I left!!!!
Great people love this place and I get paid to .lil
Great staff good communication about deferrals Georgia is the best to stick you by far
This is an awesome place to donate. Very fast, and they are extremely nice. If u wanna go.. just use me as a referral (Robert Creasey)
I have a great experience every time I come. Thank you guy for the hard work an making a smooth and easy process.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
