Out of all the plasma centers my experience here was the worst. No ?? one seems to be good at drawing blood from deep, rolling veins. I had multiple issues with my draws, with my returns... never had such issues with other facilities. Last insult to be told I would need a vein check PRIOR to accepting me as a donation. The person briefly looked at both arms and told me I needed to work out my veins.... seriously. Wasted 2 hours to be shoved off. Recommended go anywhere else
Really awesome place, staffs amazing, and everything else for the most part is professional! One thing I will say is?. when it comes to calling the front desk, to talk to someone other than a machine. To either get information, set up an appointment, or just plain out talk to someone that actually works there. It is an absolute nightmare!!! Weekends grant it; their short staffed, and therefore probably don't have a lot of people to answer the phone. Mainly because the weekends are the busiest. But I swear t
I have donated dozens of times at other plasma centers in the past year. This and biolife are my preferred centers to donate. Csl arvada has the rudest people ive ever met in my life, who hide their name tags to avoid complaints, and can not find a vein/will intentionally miss to hurt you. Octapharma stole my buddys referral bonus then lied about it to my face. When you call the number as of 12-18-24 the message will tell you that you do NOT need to schedule an appointment as a first time donor. The staf
I called after over half my arm turned purple & was told "the lead helped me." In reality she stabbed through my vein and into a nerve. She said she could re-stick me because it was going too slow...little did I know it was because I was just bleeding into my own arm, would never recommend someone to come here. They will hurt you.
I had an awful time there. The first time I went to attempt to donate plasma, they disapproved of my meal and sent me back. The second time, they wanted access to my medical history because of depression and shaky hands. Their system is archaic and disorganized, and their communication is poor.
This has to be possibly the worst experience I've ever had. Not only do they not communicate their rules properly, but they will also not communicate that you are being deferred. No one informed me that new donors only qualify for the $100 per session for the first 4 sessions but ONLY if you do it within a certain time frame, therefore I missed the time frame and lost out on $200. The only reason I found out I was deferred was when I tried to go online to set up another appointment, there was absolutely NO
As a New donor they were so fast friendly and attentive. I'm actually shocked but very happy with my experience thank you guys!
Probably the best Plasma center in the area! The staff are polite, friendly, and accommodating! If you're actually there to simply donate plasma for a good cause, then you will have the best experience! I donate plasma for liver disease, since my father passed away from it. Grifols upholds the utmost care for you while your donating! Ill always recommend this location over any other one! Keep it up guys!!
Business claims to offer $400 for new donors. Hides the fact that it's (4) $100 separate visits over a month. Very unethical bait and switch
Definitely would recommend! It was my first time donating, and I was told the starting process would be long but the staff made it effortless with their kindness and efficiency!
Very nice and professional staff! Clean and tidy inside. Getting through the entire process depends on how many employees are there at any given time. The sign-in kiosks have recently been updated to expedite the process, using your fingerprint and far less questions to answer. I go there because I'm comfortable with the staff, and if it's not busy, I'm usually gone within an hour or so.
I went in for an initial donation. I forgot my ss card. Don't live near this location, so I couldn't drive back home to get it. The male phlebotomist checking me in was impatient as he gave me the option of providing a W-2. I was searching for this document, this phlebotomist was hassling me to get my document. I told him to relax, and I'd get the W-2. This person then offered me to go through a 3rd party to verify my son. Which I refused, I asked him a 4th time to be patient with me. After I refused he bec
The staff here is great! Brenna, the manager, is very professional and has always been a great help with providing care and information. Highly recommend these guys!
This place is great nice people they are very fast and clean and it is an all around great environment!!!
The staff here is friendly enough and makes the process of donating plasma for a little extra green on the side simple and easy. Just don't forget to get and drubk plenty of water before hand because when people pass out it really drives the wait time up
ONE MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN CLS PLASMA. Way faster and more efficient. Staff are motivated and nice (unlike CLS) You can sit down while you wait instead of standing up. My only disappointment is that I didn't find this place 5 years ago before I started donating at CLS.
If you're looking to donate plasma this is the place! Very kind staff, very efficient and very friendly environment. Been going here for two years and I won't be going to any other donation centers!
Majority of the staff were incredibly friendly especially harmony and Noah! However some don't seem to care at all, they can be very rude or dismissive especially when you ask any questions. Center also lacks communication and helping us understand how retakes work. Unfortunately this has ruined this experience for me sadly. Don't think I'll be back.
The staff was so friendly and got me in and out efficiently. They made sure I was comfortable and overall very attentive.
They have a great staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. They concern themselves with getting a good clean donation and with helping me maintain my ability to provide that donation without compromising my own health. Highly recommend!
They read my bpm was too high. So I was told to leave and come back tomorrow. I come back the next day, and they put a hold on my account without saying anything (made me out as a delinquent). They knee jerked the responses like "talk to corporate" and refused to delete the hold. They were biased against helping me. I've donated several times prior without any issues. Then, I was told I could donate at a different location. It took several hours out of my day and was shockingly told I can't donate there eit
Manager Ms Thomas is spectacular. Such a great help. Everyone at the center is great. Best place to donate.
This place is terrible there's barely no staff members at all, they will tell you they only do appointments but they will not see you until a after you arrived for your appointment, I had an appointment at 10:45 a.m I ain?t get seen till 12:39 pm, the staffs don't do their job, they all hide in the back laughing all day while the lobby gets pulled up with customers and it gets to the point where the lobby gets so packed so customers have to wait outside in the hot sun, I do not recommend, this facility need
Very clean and comfortable! Everyone was really nice and professional. Definitely will come here again!
i would give 0 but they dont allow that. they also dont allow me due to thinking i was "unstable" im sure my family would tell me if i was. they also said "donation isnt for everyone" so it looks like imma go somewhere else :) please dont go here if you have any health/mental health issues they are way too judgmental and will waste your time. i went the first time and they held me for over an hour to tell me i cant due to something unrelated but i just kept having to fix and fix and fix i almost got deferre
They bruiced both my arms intentionally, how about getting people who know what their doing specially when Sticking a needle into your arms
Love this place. Angelica is very professional, thorough, and considerate. She is one of the few that I feel comfortable sticking me.
Best place in denver to donate. Cleanest clinic paired with a friendly staff makes for the best experience I've had thus far.
The staff is always nice and help make your donation more comfortable
I only started donating at Grifols Biomat in 2021, but I can say this is a great place to donate at. The staff are friendly and, even though sometimes they are understaffed and this makes wait times are longer, they work hard to get you through as fast as possible. The medical staff are professional and go to great lengths to keep my medical history confidential and teach me about donating plasma. The facility is clean (much cleaner than other plasma centers I have been to). When I was having issues making
I've been donating plasma here for about 5 years. Always give the staff a hard time, but they seem to take it well. Currently donating convalescent plasma for COVID-19. If you've recovered from COVID-19, please consider donating plasma.
This place has very nice staff but lately you'll wait AT LEAST 1.5 hours before you actually get seated and, if your lucky, another 30 minutes before you get all plugged into the machines. I stoped donating for a while because of this (and how they would bruise me almost every time) and hoped it had changed but I waited 2 hours before anyone tried to hook me up to the machines. The $40 is not worth 3+ hours of your time. I do this so I don't have to get a part time job along with my full time (it's normally
I've been donating for 8 months or so and this place has been great. The wait times can be a little long sometimes, however, it is really just depends on how many people come in at the same time. Remembering to be patient and polite makes the time pass quicker. The staff is always friendly, professional, and many take the time to learn more than just your name. Everything is clean and the employees truly care about trying to get you in an out as quick as possible, while being focused on your comfort during
I've never had any problems here. I've never had to wait too long to be screened and never wait long to be plugged into the machines. Everyone I've had has been nice and professional. Only complaint I have I a new guy (didn't get his name) used the other end of the swab to mark where my veins are which is normal but he was digging it and twisting it in my skin. I never make it known if I'm uncomfortable but that hurt so bad. The needle stick was fine though and he was very nice. Would recommend highly.
Be prepared. This location REQUIRES appointments, but won't see you until 1-2 HOURS after your appointment (not exaggerating, i have been in the waiting room for 65 minutes as i type this) then another 1-2 hours to donate. But if you are only a few MINUTES late they will cancel your appt. By the time you finish, you could have made twice as much money working at Walmart, or even donating at literally any other location, once you get past the new donor prices. This location doesn't care about its clients an
Go to the other Grifols off Federal. This one takes wayyyy longer then the other one... It took them an hour to get going even though they weren't very busy.
This place is horrible. You'll wait at least 30-45 minutes just to get screened. If the staff actually worked as much as they stood around and talked. It wouldn't be as bad. The aurora location is way better. I just feel like everyone here would rather be doing anything else but this. This will be my last time here. I think I'm going to keep editing this while I'm here. While I'm being seated, the staff are sitting here discussing their schedules and what's on tv? other than actually working and paying atte
I think this place needs to be investigated and closed down. So when I was at this location I waited more than 5 hours and then get turned away because of a certain medication. I witnessed a lady all strung out on drugs falling out and her blood pressure was low and it kept reading low and she is still able to donate. I've donated at a different facility and they still let me donate even though I am on this medication and I've been on it for more than 3 years now. I think this isn't fair and they have to tu
The manager ammon will do everything in his power to not have to take your plasma. They rejected me for not eating within a few hours time, then after coming all the way back rejected me for asking for an iodine swab over an alcohol one. Ammon pretends to understand bits and pieces of english so he can twist whatever you say into getting out of doing work by telling you to leave over semantics. Donate else where or your wasting your time
This place is extremely efficient, clean, and orderly. I am a first time donor and they made it all so smooth for me! I'm very happy I had a good experience my first time, the rates are also a good motivator for me to come back as well, very competitive. Cleaning protocols are very thorough and trusting! The sterile opening of everything and the preparation of the vein I donated from was all very professional, I highly suggest for first timers !
Apointment at 12:30 1:36 still waiting to start heads up, childish staff
Never had any issues here. The staff is very friendly and they take care of you as quickly as they can. It's nice knowing you're helping and earning a little extra money too. Win win!
This has been such a great experience! Every time I go the nurses do a wonderful job making sure you are comfortable and helping you with getting accustomed to the process. They always get to know you and it's nice to see friendly faces!
Normally this place has been good to me. Now completely turned around. Customer service has went been absolutely horrible with me Consistently. They don't honor there programs or spiffs ,That that have up ,and will always have A excuse to not honor it or pay you even if they make a mistake. Another example my apt was at 6-615pm time window. They Would not let me in door all ,looked at me laughing and its a game to them apparently. I'll make sure to switch her soon. I don't recommended this place was y
I've been donating for months now and have had mostly good experiences. There have been a couple of pretty painful sticks (and even an infiltration) but it's mostly due to some of the newer employees' lack of experience. I've had no problems with the more knowledgeable ones. Big shout-out to Bex and Noah for always being polite, caring, and professional! Truly the kind of employees any company needs! ??
if changes are made I'll change the review. Appointments need to come back. I cam in at 5:35, I was not hooked up until about 7:28. 2 hours to even be hooked up!! Good thing I can usually pump fast to get home to people waiting on me. I don't even do this for the money, but my time is important. The Staff's time is important too. The staff looks stressed with short staffs, which i would assume if someone called in, the appointments available should be less available that day. It's also confusing when the
I haven't had one single problem in 8 visits:) It might take a little longer than expected, but hey, if they're making sure myself and others are staying safe, I'm ok with that. The employees have always been really nice and easy to talk to. I don't think I'd ever go anywhere else to donate.
Zee and Kennidi are amazing at their jobs!
I am brand new to donating plasma and the staff were kind, efficient, and thorough during the initial check-up. The actual process of laying down and being connected to the machine was very new to me. There is more participation than I realized. Angelica was gentle, caring, responsive, knowledgeable, and provided just enough humor to keep the whole process light! I couldn't have requested better care by a phlebotomist than Angelica!
I came here yesterday and the guy helping me was impatient and harsh- I think his name was Amman? Something like that. A white man with a black beard. The assistants at the counter were also all talking about a previous patients strange interaction and it was hard to focus. He also tried to help another patient in the middle of me but then redirected them. It was chaotic. I've never done this before and the way he treated me made me feel uncomfortable and want to go donate somewhere else. I disliked my expe
The staff at this location are amazing! I am considered a "red stick" which means my veins are pretty difficult to find(everywhere I have given plasma has had the same problem), but the staff at this location are amazing at getting it right the first time. They're super friendly and nice as well.
The staff here is great. I used plasma to help my money situation in college, and even more so now. 10 short months of donating full time and I'll be able to send my family to Hawaii. Sure it takes a little bit of time to donate, but I love the quiet time for myself.
I went in today for the first time. Check-in went very well and the screening part of the process I thought went good; up until it was time for me to take the questionnaire. I was given the questionnaire with the questions that I was sure pertinent to myself and processed to complete all 10 questions. When I was done the guy who took back the questionnaire told me that the questions were to be answered in general and had me fill out another form... I was very confused because of the fact that every single q
Ive been donating for a few years on and off. Tried a few other locations but this one has been my favorite. Pleasant and friendly staff. Threw up once when donating and they handled it very kindly. Theyve upgraded their equipment recently which was very nice to see since the old ones gave my roommate a lot of trouble when she used to donate.
$40/donation - $80 if you come back for a second donation within a week. Other plasma centers pay $90 every time. Bonus structures are weak and designed to confuse donors into missing out he bonuses even if they're trying to reach them. Not worth the time to go here! Staff is nice (but understaffed) so they get 2 stars for that.
First time doner here. It was a busy day and the center was severely understaffed. Lucky for me I was attended by Quynh! She was doing 6 things at the same time by herself. Never once did I feel rushed and she explained and guided me through the process thoroughly. Quynh is a complete rockstar! I will go back for my second donation, plus the $125 compensation was good too.
Always a good experience here. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I am a harder stick and there are only a few techs that will attempt to stick me. Selena is usually the one to stick me and she is great. She is always so nice and is very knowledgable the procedure.
I was going there since it opened never had a problem until i got mad and told the manager why did two people cut in front of us because they didn't speak English I was waiting over a hour. They pick favorites so the next time they said something wrong with my liver so they deferred me! I never got any notice warning? So I went to my doctor got test results nothing was wrong so I had proof and they wouldn't except me back. Go to csl much faster and much nicer company..
I've had nothing but great experiences since donating at Biomat. My boyfriend wasn't able to donate because he didn't have viable veins, but that's not their fault. They have great incentives and bonuses, the weekly pay rates are very competitive with other donation centers. The staff are friendly and helpful. And they play movies, shows, or music, so I'm always entertained when donating.
Great atmosphere and friendly professional employees. Always enjoy coming here and they work quickly. They all do a great job but the ones who i work with the most are Selena, Theresa, James and Ashley. They are awesome.
Everyone at this location is wonderful. The big problem I have with it is it take so long to get through the screening process. It makes it where it's almost not worth going. I go there after I get off work and then to spend another 3 hours there get through the whole process. I was able to get through the Longmont facility in an hour and a half, usually, but they don't pay as well. Things are getting quicker in the early stages due to using the fingerprint scanner.
The staff is WONDERFUL!!! I have been coming here pretty regularly for almost 3 years and am too comfortable to really think about going anywhere else! (Corporate - you should buy them lunch! And, no, they didn't ask me to post that:)
Facility is clean. Staff is friendly. Appointments can be made however when my girlfriend and I signed in for our appointments at the same time I was left waiting for over half an hour. In order to not be late for work I had to leave before donating.
You have to make an appointment, which is fine, but many times it has been close to an hour wait before you even get hooked up. The staff is very friendly. Facility is clean.
I've been donating for a few years now, the staff has always been great, efficient and friendly! I've only donated at this location and my experiences have always been great and the pay is good too! They always have promotions which makes donating more enjoyable. I don't ever plan on donating anywhere else!
I had been a donor for approximately 3 months, but will never go back there again. I donated on Friday 4/29/22 and had a staff member totally botch a blood draw, and then somehow turn the blame around to me?!? I rarely use my left arm to donate because their staff seem to have a hard time inserting the needle into my vein in that arm for some reason, but because I had a small bruise on my right arm (due to doing a physical labor job in on the previous day), I was asked to use my left for a day. Based on my
Went in at 1 and at 2 almost 3 noticed the vein was huge. The guy noticed then walked away after trying to blame me, stating I must have moved even though I didn't. I was told that I would only be offered 5 dollars unless I was restock. My arm hurt when I was restock. They made it seem like the bulge in my arm was my fault. I've been donating since I was 18. I'm 27 now. I understand stuff happens but to place blame on me the donar, that's not cool. Honestly would rather go to another donation place. Pretty
New donors take about 3 hours to complete everything. The staff was very friendly and professional. They got me in last minute and made the while process easy to understand and I have already scheduled my return visit. Thank you again to all the staff for your hard work and dedication.
Rude and quick to profile someone me I was permanently deferred without giving a reason asked what drugs I was on the previous donation I would think if the staff suspects someone is on drugs they should address the person that day not ask the next time they return then got mad because the answer I gave they didnt agree with
This place has the worst service. They tell you on your first visit that if you're 10 minutes late you'll be denied. (I've heard and seen them do it countless times) but I have not been here a single time where they arnt behind 20 minutes to an hour. They have no sense of urgency. Absolutely ridiculous. And they can care less.
The employee's are great but management really needs to get it together. Their hours seem to change everyday now, and even with the poorly executed appointment system it's iffy wither or not you'll get to donate, and you will still be waiting 40 minutes to be screened, and another 30 just to be stuck. Do it there if you have to for the money, otherwise there are plenty of other places to "save lives" that are non-profit, probably don't charge $2k per bottle for the life saving medicine neither.
The customer service is horrendous. I waited in the new donor area for a long period time even with no one in front of me then I watched as people came after me (also new donors) they would be helped and progressed before me for no apparent reason. I seen as 4 individuals were helped and pushed through first. This is unprofessional and a complete misunderstanding on how a line works. Made me feel like I didn't matter as much as them and that's not how you should feel when at a donation center.
This place is great if you need a little extra cash and want to help people at the same time. staff is always amazing and friendly. not much of a fan of needles but they always make sure your comfortable.
Throughout my plasma donating experience, biomat is the best by far. Super efficient and friendly staff. All the promos definitely make it easier to come back every week. Great place to earn extra money! Never had a bad experience.
Overall a good experience. Been going on and off for about a year. Great employees who care. I've had 3 bad pokes. I sometimes request certain people but most do a good job. Always expect at least an hour and a half. I've never been poked in less than 45 minutes. I usually have to wait 25 minutes to log in, 15 minutes to be screened, 10 minutes to get a chair, and 10 minutes before being poked. Actual donation takes about 45 Minutes.
Scott denied me to donate because He said I have more tattoos than I put on the paper. I admit I forgot the one on my side!! He couldn't have just added to the paper. Before that happened he asked if I had my ears pierced I told him not recently?. He said does that mean you never had them pierced?? I said I did when I was a baby. He said well than you need to mark it in the paper. So I circled the earlobes on the paper. Scott said no you need to draw a line. I said okay but you don't have to be rude. His ey
I have been donating off and on for the last few years and for the most part the staff is awesome and the center itself is great. However, they recently moved over to a paperless environment and it has been a mess. I've not talked to anyone that didn't have some kind of a screw up with the transition. This new system failed to record my new address even though I made the change 4 months ago. 2 other people said their latest physicals were not recorded and a handful of other issues. This all results in havin
I recently started coming here and must admit it's been great. The staff have been extremely nice and helpful. And the process has been quick in easy. I'm so glad I left csl plasma and started coming here where I am actually treated with good service. They also pay good here.
I've only been going to the Grifols near me for three months, but everyone there is always so friendly and helpful that I wish I had gone in a long time ago! Every time I go to donate, everyone is pleasant and very efficient, making the whole donation process a simple thing. Hooray for donating plasma!!
I rode my electric scooter to donate and she told me I had to leave it outside. She didn't even ask me if it folded up, which it does, or if I had someone who could come and get it. I'm not leaving a $300 electric scooter outside for someone to steal. I have also heard of several people also being turned away from this location. I have a very rare blood type and I'm sure they could have used my plasma. I will never try to donate plasma ever again!
I have been donating here for awhile and normally things go fairly smooth but today I was sitting in the back ready to go but no one came over to get the needle going to actually start my donation. I sat there for an hour and 10 minutes and finally walked out. They could have atleast apologized for wasting my time or even compensated me something. The two people I spoke with were very rude. I think I'll be finding a new location to donate at.
I donate at the Pecos facility and have been for the last few years. Have had nothing but Outstanding service from the trainees to the most senior staff. They have helped me so much. I love them all
The staff at this location are amazing! They always make me feel welcome and comfortable during donation. I enjoy helping others and making a little extra money and definitely recommend this location!!!
The place is clean, the staff are friendly and know how to make your experience an enjoyable one. Your wait time is relatively short compared to other donation centers.
Friendly staff, quick payments, comfortable donation center. But they take forever. Since they implemented this new appointment system I wait an hour or more to get stuck. I've waited almost as long as two hours from my appointment time to get hooked up. It's ridiculous.
I have donated plasma at other center in the past and have done so for years. I will not be coming back to this center. Almost every experience has been a negative one and I have had no issues before. The staff are obviously undertrained and their website was misleading. They cannot seem to find my vein except for two times and will jiggle the needle around till blood clots in the needle then have to use my other arm with a supervisor finally doing the stick. Not only that they waste my time with the websit
This place is awesome!!!!! Connie was a blast to work with. I have done plasma donation a few times and this place is by far the easiest, cleanest, friendliest place to do it at!!! I hate donating to be honest but it's for a good cause and the extra money is nice. This place pays way higher then the other two places in Denver!
Although at times there can be a bit of a wait, the staff is always friendly and they do what they can to make you visit comfortable and quick. Been going for just over a year and got to know a lot of the staff... feels like family!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
