I went for my first time yesterday to donate..Laurie i think is her name is the one that got me started..was very nice and helped me alot and explained everything very good..in the joe was awsome..felt very safe..everyone was very cool going back for sure. Thank u again staff.

The supervisor lady named Dora has a very rude tone I understand your not supposed to fall asleep while donating but most of the other nurses will just touch your hand and say please stay awake in a nice tone, Dora on the other hand sounds like she has a stick up her ass she grabs my hand then proceeds to tell me in a rude tone " Sir you need to stay awake or I will have them unhook you and you will only get paid half" other then Dora everyone else is good especially Joe in my opinion he's the best there.

The staff is extremely friendly, the first time you do take a while longer but it's well worth it. Amazing place 5 starts all the way. Very clean as well. Coming so often they've become family.

Staff is pretty cool n very funny, over all Veronica is the OG boss lady

This place was good a couple years ago. But now they don't train their phlebotomist correctly and are rough to their donors. I had really bad experiences with one of their new staff, she poked me incorrectly and had to adjust the needle 3 times ! And then she never came back to check on me. I had to wait over two hours to finish since the blood wasn't getting drawn correctly. I'm not satisfied with their services anymore because they don't train the workers to be careful with the donors. Don't come here.

Well organized, staff is very professional n well mannered

Hey everyone! Make sure the cuff to read your blood pressure isn't too small or tight, looked it up it said it could result 39% failure resulting high blood pressure. I thought about and researched all this just by this one lady's body language, lack of eye contact, and tone of voice. I feel as if they use these small cuffs to let their days become easier and slower. Yes, they have different sizes, if they refuse tell em you wanna speak to someone else, they ain't in charge you ARE

so i moved to the valley back in 2018, & started donating ever since. i stopped on & off again for seasons at a time, & i also transferred to the mcallen location cuz of where i moved to. but after starting at utrgv i transferred back to this location & its been awesome from the beginning. everyones very attentive & considerate, the pace is always steady, & the environment has always made me feel comfortable. i definitely recommend , its a win win for donors & the people it benefits. ??

Thelma is rude and has poor customer service skills. She acts like she can't smile. I'm about to have a needle jammed in my vein for 45 minutes the least you can do is be some what courteous.

Great people ..clean organized and quick service

Highly recommend this place, Staff is very nice, especially Ms.Veronica and other few staff members Dani & Joe & Amy & Liz Great people very nice as you come in and donate.

I came later in the day and was considered as a new donor since it had been years since I had donated. Everyone who assisted me was friendly and were working promptly to try and expedite the process due to the volume of new donors they were intaking. I knew i would be waiting for awhile but it was nice seeing them try to make it a fast and smooth process for everyone. Everyone I had interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. When I sat down to donate it was already 7 and Mrs. Val assisted m

I had the worst customer service experience. They need to take classes on how to serve the public or something. The lady who I asked about my process because it was the first time, she was talking to me while she was chewing gum, it seemed to me a lack of professionalism. None of them knew how to guide me in the process because it was my first time and then they tried to rush me when I told them that they had not explained me what to do. I understand that donors are paid to do it, but thanks to the people w

I enjoy donating here. The staff are welcoming and make small talk with you during the donation so it helps make the time go faster. They do such a great job and it's obvious that they take their job and training seriously.

This review has nothing to do with the center itself. They're great! Just leaving a bad review in hopes that they will bring back the ability to be considered a new donor after 6 months as they used to do this. For reference: CSL?s and Griffol?s previous New Donor fees were $100 for the first 8 donations you'd make. Now that's a deal. $50 just isn't worth going through the physical process. If anything go to CSL on 23rd street. They'll consider you a new donor after 6 months and at the moment you get $100 f

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They need to hire new phlebotomists who know what they're doing. The lady in the front reception gave me a toughest time in the world. I was a returning donor from years prior. The lady kept giving me trouble for every little thing. First my drivers license then my social. Super incompetent. ?Oh we finally found you on the system?. If you're that illiterate on the computer, then you shouldn't be working there. The worst.

Very good and respected staff they all the real MVP?s very clean environment n I really recommend this place

Read a few negative posts, but can't relate. I find the staff to be super-friendly and accommodating. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get my vitals checked, and have always been treated politely. Thanks, Biomat-staff. Keep doing what you're doing!

I love the Edinburg location. The facility is always clean and it's spacious. It's a great place to come to on hot days as it's always cold in here. The best part of it all is being able to help others while also supplementing your income. It's a win-win situation.

Not such a good experience today, pretty disappointed in the unprofessional way Linda the nurse approached my anxiety i was feeling for being passed up by several donors before me. Then the employee Susie was rude and just told me i could leave without any empathy or explanation of how or why i was waiting. Then the young girl Steph that finally stuck me implied i threw my bandaide on the floor . I did tell her it fell but Very unprofessional of her . At least pablo was curteous , but Now i was reminded w

Valerie and kiersten and Ed make everything so easy for me. Love their positive attitude, they always make sure I'm okay. Definitely recommend coming here. The staff is great! Very friendly

Employees are so rude and disrespectful! I wouldn't recommend this place at all! One of the employees was giving me a bad attitude, which is very uneducated for health care workers! I couldn't get her name otherwise I would have spoken to her supervisor and written her a report for bad conduct! They are also so unorganized and don't get their thoughts together. I don't know how they haven't fired those employees, or closed down that place. I also don't understand how this place has 4 stars. I wouldn't give

Probably the best plasma center I have experienced. Cleanliness is close to godliness. Speed of service is exceptional. Staff is also extremely friendly. Hope to be a frequent member.

Great place friendly staff. Need extra money? Donate plasma here.

Love coming to donate at this location, always fast and easy. Location is clean and organized. The Phlebotomists like Mary are really good as well! Have donated over 10 times and never had an issue, plus it feels great to do good.

Very clean environment MOST of the floor staff is professional front desk receptionist are not so much the one with purple hair likes to flirt with married men VERY unprofessional. the wait times do drag but thats expected. Terry is always a great help when i go donate hire more staff with her personality and charm. Was enjoying the extra text perks! Bring them back!

Its sad how much this place has changed. The workers here act like they are the only people to get tired. Doesn't matter how tired you are or if its a slow day, please pay more attention to your donors. I waited 45 minutes before having my vitals taken, and had to wait 25 more minutes to retake bp, even though I was told 15 minutes. Best part is despite all this waiting(still here) I still haven't been seated to donate after being sent to the back

Corinne and Louie always greet me with a welcoming smile. They are always super sweet. ?? Jose, Pablo, and Alexis are AWESOME! They always brighten my day. I highly recommend Biomat Edinburg! Their staff is AMAZING!

The best donation center I have ever been to all the staff are very friendly and very respectful I always love donating because we are all treated the same and they make it fun. I would definitely recommend this donation center always. Dec. 15, 2023 The donation center on Jackson in Edinburg is one of the most amazing donations center I've been to and why I stay here they have employees that work as a team and are very sweet, respectful, and treat us with so much kindness I want to give a huge shout of to

I've donated in the past at a mcallen location and it was awful. Dirty and just very unwelcoming not to mention the crazy wait time. A few years later I'm back. I came to this edinburg location and was blown away. This facility is always clean, the process is fast and the staff is so friendly! Alexis, Brian and Pablo have made this experience great along with the manager who makes you feel very welcomed! 10/10 recommend!

The staff have made my experiences as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Each one I have encountered, has gone out of their way to be positive and professional. One phlebotomist in particular, named Louie, always stands out. He's funny, always with a smile on his face, and very thorough with his work. Overall, I'm impressed with this facility and would recommend for others to choose the Edinburg location for their donation.

Awesome experience from beginning to end. No waiting just walk in answer few questions then straight to donating. You're in and out within an hour or less depending on your donating process. The staff is very helpful and place is super clean.

Such a great staff! They are all kind and helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. If interested in donating, this location will take good care of you.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The location is always very clean as well. I've never had a bad experience here except when a newbie was learning the procedure and the initial poke was a little painful, other than that everything was great.

All the ladies there were very nice and professional. I went in as a first time donor and waited a while. After 2 hours it was finally my turn to be screened and apparently my temperature was too high? So I was told I couldn't donate. Like yes obviously I've been sitting here a long time in a hoodie of course I was gonna be warm. My temperature was taken at the entrance and I was fine, I wouldn't have been let in if it was high and I'm definitely not sick. Then I was told I had to wait outside (I had gone i

It's always great to come in and just have the best experience. Environment is clean and professional. Employees super knowledgeable. 5 stars. Definitely recommend.

Everyone is very polite and professional and I've never had to wait very long at all to get in the donation chair. It's very organized and of course, clean. I'd recommend them 100%.

I never had a problem with any of the phlebotomists until recently. Corinne was persistent that she wanted to stick me when I had already requested Louie. She still was persistenting in sticking me even though she had clearly heard the lady that took me to my seat say that I had requested Louie, and even though I had also told her when she came up to me, she still was persisted in wanting to stick me and she got annoyed and started bad mouthing Louie. When Louie was done attending another donor, he came ove

I hadn't donated at this place in over a year because I had gotten a tattoo and followed and respected their policies went in and waited for 2 hrs just for them to bombard me with questions about when I got my last tattoo after I just told them I don't remember the exact date. Because I didn't have any pics of the damn tattoo session apparently they said I'd have to wait for d general manager to review my file and I'd have to do the whole process another date!! Damn waste of time and energy!! Horrible servi

Very quick, friendly staff. Always making sure I'm comfortable & willing to answer any questions I may have. Great experience every time

Donated few weeks ago now I'm deferred due to their mistakes. They kept puncturing my vein and caused a blood clot in it and they say I have to drink more water to prevent it. FYI I did and that's just called unprofessionalism

this complaint is for the Edinburg Tx location Been going for the past month and a half and so far staff HAD been friendly and made me feel comfortable. UNTIL today the staff member who took my weight, iron, protein and blood pressure seemed as if she was bothered to be at her JOB. After they set you up with machine every staff member notifies you ? IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW ?. (That is their verbatim) Well i had already finished and was waiting patiently for them to finish with other patients

They are very quick and professional and very friendly. They make sure to answer any questions you may have.

I have been donating for about 4 years now and i do have to say in the beginning there was a lot of unprofessional, unorganized, slow paced employees but as i continued to stay ive seen the center evolve into the exact opposite. It has to do with a lot of the new management and new employees. The ones worth keeping stayed and now can train the new comers. Abby has been the most delightful employee by far! She always greets me with a big smile and makes sure my stay is very comfortable and makes it a pleasur

The staff and environment is very welcoming. Help with any questions or concerns you may have. Take good precautions, and the process is easy! I 100% recommended!

Friendly, thorough, and fairly quick for a new donor. I was stupid and didn't eat enough before hand and so I felt nauseated twice but these kind ladies came to help quickly and worked their hardest to get me back on track. Can't wait to go back

This was the first time I donated plasma, and I was terrified, BUT the employees there helped me out! They talked to me about the procedure and walked me step by step through it all! It was wonderful ! They made everything so simple, and answered any question that i had. One of the ladies there was so nice to me, she even handed me a stress ball during the donation (which is used pump the blood a bit faster). When I went it was a bit late, but they all stayed with me until I walked to me car and drove away.

Such a great place. Since my first interaction they have been nothing but courteous and helpful. Great attitudes all around.

They have promotions for donations of the month and they do not respect the dates on the card due to corporate office? It's so upsetting after 1 staff saying that they will honor it manually then another says unfortunately they can not honor it?.

I like my service at grifols. The employees are very friendly and nice. No problems at all.. It's great to save life?s.

The employees are rude, and incapable of doing simple tasks like answering questions. They work slow, rarely acknowledge the donors, and some don't speak Spanish. I've gotten many bruises as well from poor practice. It seems like all the rejects from nursing come to work here. Horrible place, will be changing soon.

Staff is very friendly. Especially Geneva she is very kind and polite. She takes alot of pride in her work. Great smile at all times.??

I've been coming here for years now. The staff happens the be some of the best people I've come to know and the facility is always clean and organized. Every time I come in I always feel welcomed.

Been here for a few years and the staff is always very easy going and helpful, I've recommended a lot of friends here, you help out others in need and get easy quick payment, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great experience, and friendly staff. Brain is an excellent & focused worker when setting up the machine & has a steady hand when it come to the needle. Highly recommend him!

6 hours for my first visit. I showed up at 8am. The staff isn't that bad, but is unprofessional. I heard at least a few F bombs from them so yeah. Can't blame them I guess, most of the people going in look like that's their day job...

Louie, is very professional & polite always very attentive to my visit when I donate. Very good hand to insert needle. I never feel pain. Keep up the great work Louie

The donation center has definitely improved over the years. I get paid 400$ a month donating (not including referral bonuses) Donations are fast and simple. I spend most of the time there listening to music and on my phone. There is fast Wi-Fi available there, along with televisions tuned to very neat movies all around. Everthing is very clean. Nearly all the staff members are very friendly and co-operative with your comfort level. There are very reasonable wait times. There are also donor appreciation days

Avoid this place, it's become extremely complicated, unprofessional and full of inexperienced pokers. All of the sudden you are force to download and app and make an account. Go somewhere else the composition got worse too

Great experience from arrival to the end! I really appreciate Terry Garcia's motivation upon my request for her to be the one to take care of me out on the floor.. I will definitely recommend Terry and Biomat USA to anyone interested in donating Plasma in the future!!

For the most part, the service is moderate at best! Ive been going with my girlfriend for a few months! The staff for the most part is horrible!! there are a few good apples and thats what has been keeping us going back! Some of the staff mishandles that needle when they stick you! Moving it around when they dont need too, sticking it through the vein to where the skin swells and turns purple! Very rude staff with little customer service! My girlfriend and I went in at the same time and she was done with he

Staff are very good and fast process I highly recommend Louie a kind awesome hearted person who will see to it that you'll get your treatment done and fast . Wonderful people, above all great place to donate .

Great place to donate they always answer your questions to any question you have. Staff is very and easily to talk with and have conversations with and been enjoying going for about a year already. Only wish that all tv's work in the back but still 5 stars

Always a good experience! Staff is friendly, fast, and efficient. Place is always clean and you can be in and out in less than an hour ??????

I don't what the other people are talking about I've been coming here since they opened , ND I have never ever had a problem or any mis communication with the staff. In my eyes it's one of the best places to be makes me feel at home. I love grifols yall keep up the good work

Brian Geneva Abby Jay Rick are very professional and always attentive to my visit when I donate. All 3 have a good hand to insert needle. Great JOB guys.

The screening process at Grifols was exceptionally quick. The team ensured a seamless and efficient procedure for receiving my donation money. Regarding employment, my experience was positive until I departed, after which I found myself blacklisted at their other center located on university rd GCAM.

Unorganized staff, they don't know how to do their job, terrible management, lots of bad expiriences, got a piercing came in person to notify them, was told to wait a year before coming back, waited the time. Came back to be called untrustworthy and liar because i tried to donate with new piercing. Management said would conduct and investigation but they were too incompetent to even find out. This place is just the WORST.

Very professional people!! Nice, with possitive attitudes!! Love coming, they make me feel like family!! Especially, Terry, Geoneva, Alex, Liz, Brian, Abby, Daniela Z, Daniela G, Domingo!!!

I like the place I just don't mine how the nurses have to leave by 4pm and I usually get out of work by 3pm and I drive from Raymondville I wish they would leave at the time it says online at 7pm I've been. Trying to donate but can't due to lack of staff

It's much better than the other plasma center I was going to before and the staff are pretty cool people.

Always have a great experience here. Staff is always very professional and courteous. People who donate plasma make a positive difference in someone?s life everyday. This place rocks!

All the staff and procedures have been very professional and thorough on explaining the importance of donating in a safe way. They do great work that helps save the lives of others who are in need.

Transfer from Garland, TX to Edinburgh, TX was smooth. Having an appointment for new donors I feel is the way to do it. Overall great experience having transferred from one facility to the other. Keep up the good work.

Really cool employees! They always make sure you're comfy before you start the plasma process. Really easy way for you to get some quick cash while helping save lives!

Best place ever. Rich and Joe really make the experience enjoyable. Thank you so much

Today I had a great experience with Rich with my vitals & always great customer service ! ?? I'll be coming back too biomat here in Jackson rd

Staff has explained clearly, been gentle and clean, and been pleasant. My only disappointment was that I set out to bring donors because Im actualy in an emergency to protect my kiddos and need the money, but they changed the promotion and there is no reward for my bringing a buddy today. She has to come back. Then I have to come back to get the 25. And only once, not 3x. If I made 75 this month on making sure she came, shed be sure to keep coming because she'd start to see helping herself, and then for T

Recommend this place highly if you want to have a satisfying experience, have your questions answered and have good chat with most of the staff as you donate. Very friendly from the front thru the back and would highly recommend this donation center

Long time donor, was taken care of by Veronica in the front, and Shauna and Ashley in the back. Great staff always friendly.

The staff is phenomenal and friendly! Sure they got their days but who doesn't. Awesome essential workers lead by LEADERS and MENTORS!

Love coming to this place staff is so polite and friendly pick out my favorite ones because they really know what their doing for sure always attentive at all times making conversations to make u feel comfortable one of them is Louie,Abby, kory and so on do reccomend this place for when you need money ????????????????????

One of the best, most professional plasma center I've ever experienced. Out of all the places I've been to, this place has treated me better than all the previous centers before. Fast paced and very welcoming. I guarantee it ! ??

They work AT there own pace. Very slow and no good reason half the time. They really only speeds things up when the manager is there. Also in my opinion there understaffed. Come to grifols for very unhappy workers.

Honestly really enjoy donating plasma at the Grifols Biomat Edinburg location. They do a great job to keep both the people donating and the staff safe. Also the staff who work here are all pretty cool people. Nice way to help your community and make a couple extra bucks. If you read this review tell them I sent you ??

I absolutely love this place very clean, organized and the staff is very patient and kind. Priscilla is my go to girl when I donate, she's very experienced and professional.

Staff is always friendly and will take care of your every need. Visits usually take about one hour. Every donation matters. Use my name as a referral. Rumaldo Soto :)

Amazing staff very efficient everybody is always in a good mood, makes it more enjoyable to donate and help save lives.
