Staff is very nice however lately the waiting times are so bad. It would be nice to Also be composited for wait times too. Lately it's been been over 1 hour wait even having applying g times. I don't see the point of having an appointment time.
What an awesome experience!!! I was so nervous when I came in, but after the care and concern I received from those awesome young Ladies, I can't wait for my next visit!!! They are a real professional and knowledgeable staff...I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone interested in the life saving gift...Fairless Hills-Grifols...you rock!!!??
Staff are rude, refuse to answer questions, or provide adequate assistance. I was made to feel like an inconvenience because I had not completed the screening prior to arrival. Upon arrival, I asked if there was another team or person available in the back to stick me. He responded ?I'm up here, I'm not in the back.? I reminded him that the last time, he told me that he feels uncomfortable and does not want to stick me. [I was the only black body in the building]. For about 30 mins he spoke with the only ot
Used to be great. An efficient and timely staff. Now, they're slow as molasses. You'll sit in a chair for 20-30 mins sometimes until someone finally gets to you. Very disappointing.
Very cool staff and nurses and doctors, I love the music, and energetic atmosphere and playful atmosphere that comes with every visit. It's not just business when it comes to GRIFOLS it's friendship on an acquainted level. I appreciate the work they do, the products they help make and the lives they help save. Their camaraderie and community atmosphere is commendable from the canned goods, toy drives partnered with Salvation Army and more, they give and help everyday in more ways than one. Thank you.
Used to donate there a lot. Took a break because I went and stayed at my other house for a while. Scheduled an appointment sat there forever no one called me up. I left and Scheduled another appointment went there and was informed I'd have to Schedule another appointment because I have to do the orientation again. Grifols lost another donor to Csl.
I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience at BioLife Plasma. Let me start by saying this place does not care at all about its donors. I've visited this location twice, and both times, I was turned away?not because I didn't meet the criteria or had improper IDs, and not due to any health deficiencies. Everything about me was up to standard. To be honest, the way I was treated felt discriminatory, even bordering on racist. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, the second time con
Very negative place! We went without an appointment because it said walk-ins were allowed on the website. They wouldn't give us an appointment till later that day. But then when I went online I was able to get an appointment within minutes. When we went back they wouldn't honor it. I want to help my partner fill out the paperwork (he has some vision problems for close up) and they told me I wasn't allowed. Then they told me I couldn't stay in the waiting room to see if he was accepted, I had to stand outsid
The Employees on the floor are great! Kelly, Kimmy, Aly, Brian, Anita, Virginia. All are amazing. Management is where this place is really hurting. They don't care about the donors at all. Changing hours on a whim, Thereby negating donors ability to actually donate. If you are a manager, you need to be able to fill in where needed. The managers here don't do that. They keep losing employees, so management is a problem internally as well. If you cannot fill in where needed as a manager, you should no
Only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of Jessica from the Wilkes Barre location. Absolutely amazing and super friendly and helpful. I honestly wish she was a manager here because I would come here every time. She is probably the nicest person I've encountered at this location. Keep up the good work and stay just as you are AMAZING
Great people and Ladies! They came out on memorial Day and they worked hard just giving a shout out to some of my favorite ladies
The entire Grifols staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I want to give a special shout-out to Dayanara, who was an exceptional nurse?extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and efficient. She made the whole process seamless, getting me in and out quickly while providing top-notch care. Thank you again for such excellent service!
I've been donating at Grifols Biomat for several months now. The staff are friendly, quick, and efficient. I use the app to check in and that makes it even quicker. The first donation takes 2-3 hours but every subsequent donation has take less than an hour for me. I'm around 30 donations in and I have been able to use the extra money to build our emergency fund and have money for those extras. This helps people in need as well so it's a win win. Highly recommend! Edit to add: I'm seriously confused by all
The staff here is very pleasant. I love most of the people working here. The problem is upper management. I go on Friday and Sunday as these are my days off. Today I was informed that on Thursday that they decided to shut down every Sunday also the cut back on how late they are open. I know they don't care but that screws me out of the second visit which is $75.00. Also I'm not sure if I will be able to go a second time as I don't get off in time to go after work and I have to be in at 6 am so I can't go
The only reason why I come here is because of Aly and Kelly . I don't understand how a year ago. This place was full of energetic and experienced employees and now it's basically just few long-term members and kids. Makes no sense no matter how much you keep paying people which by the way is low compared to most centers if you keep, making people wait for hours just to get checked in and you only have one person sticking in the back You're just going to lose Donors. How about we hire some experience people
false advertising no where on the website says there is a weight limit just says you have to weigh more than 110 pounds was there for a hour and got told I was to heavy if your website would have said that you can only weigh 400 I wouldn't of came in but it didn't so I feel that I should be compensated seeing your website didn't say anything
I've been sitting here waiting at my center for 15 min and have watched the screener turn away 4 people already. There are 8 of us sitting here and she is at her computer not taking anyone for 3 minutes now. Everyone's getting antsy. One girl was turned away bc she was due for her annual and they are short staffed, two because the BP machine didn't read properly and one that wanted to start donating cause they were short staffed. I get being short staffed but this is not a good experience. This is beyond fr
It's not a bad place, the professionalism of some of the staff isn't the best tho. I have had issues with my protein being low although I have a intake of over 200 grams of protein a day. I was then given an attitude from the lady saying the 40 dollar compensation is worth it why do you risk it. First I make more than any employee in the building and I have bank statements to prove it. I do it because my buddy needs transfusions and this is a good way to show I care. I understand the protein levels I do but
Update: 5 years later- very redundant the first time donating. A lot of reading and safety stuff to make sure they don't get sued. You get a physical and all together it's about a 3 hour process for the first time. Though it was all very smooth now. I got attention from staff. Donated. Got paid then and there. And was actually a good experience. 5 years ago:Terrible experience. Very disorganized, became such a waste of time. The first time i went in there were 10 workers standing there doing nothing. Took
Great staff, always friendly and caring. Clean and professional environment. Smooth work flow and efficient donor process.Donors fee is a bit lower than before that's my only complaint.
Been a donor for three years and decided to switch because they are closer to my home. Worst decision I could?ve made. Staff treats donors like they are doing them a favor by providing services. I'll drive to my usual donation location instead.
So I went for the first time on Saturday when they opened and was told that I would be there for 5 hours because their was only 1 nurse in the building so I left. I went the very next day on Sunday as soon as they opened and after being there for 3 hours I was told that my blood pressure was high so I was deferred for the day. When i originally took my blood pressure it was fine then Crystal or whatever her name was told me after 3 hours I was deferred. What a waist of time. I will never go to this location
The building is always clean, staff is always invitingly nice, and is quick while also being efficient! I definitely recommend this location! It is also Bike accessible (:
Not only do you feel good that your donation helps people you are paid as well. The staff is amazing. Very professional and answer every question I have with a smile. The center is clean and even when it's crowded the wait time isn't that long. The weekly and monthly bonuses are great and money is on my card usually before I get to my car. Extra money for doing some good. Can't beat that.
I was donating here for a few months. Some big white girl who works there was having a conversation with another worker WHILE SHE STUCK THE NEEDLE IN MY ARM. It hurt instantly. Next time i went a month later to donate with that same arm, it hurt again. I haven't gone back in almost a year, and I still have elbow pain. It's not worth the money, skip this place. I can only hope the pain eventually goes away.
I have been donating at this location for approximately 1 year, and can testify to the growth in efficiency and customer service throughout this time period. The staff is now a well-oiled machine; everyone knows their job. The transitions between stations are smooth. On average, the entire process takes under 2hrs (that is coming from me, who is a hard stick with deep veins, and a weak flow). They are able to maintain professionalism, but not appear uptight at the same time. This allows the donor to fe
Very racist place . I been a donor almost a year a diffrent places never had issues, me & my son was treating poorly by the supervisor on the donor floor both times. She talked about me to the heavy set nurse today . I would never ever come back here again in my life .. telling me it's a problem with my veins being flat.. wring went another place with no damn problem...
Absolutely the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of being around, they make you feel like you matter and remember who you are! Make everything painless.
Here is my first and only experience with this center. First the staff was very friendly and attentive. That's not my issue. Half way thru my donation process, the electricity went out. I immediately started to sweat and shake. I was freezing and sweating at the same time. The electricity never went back on so they couldn't finish my process which left me dizzy and weak and out of a pint of blood. Again the staff was very attentive and I think nervous. I seriously thought I was going to die. They couldn't g
Haven't had any issues since going. Staff is always friendly. But wondering, I referred 2 people, one had his second donation earlier today. How long till I get the referral bonus?
Got tired of CSL plasma, thought I'd give Biomat a try. No comparison! Nurses are awesome and super friendly. Usually in and out within an hour/hour and a half. Payment ends up being more in the end. Even got a bonus $5 when I was deferred for a day due to low iron. Just being treated respectfully alone is enough to switch over. Even the debit card they give you is Bank of America, so much easier. Their place is always clean and they make sure your comfortable. Best place to donate plasma! ?
They'll take your pulse, tell you it's too high, admit they're equipment messes up a lot, but then still make you wait 20 mins and let 3 people go in front of you, just to take your pulse again and send you through. Last time I went, the one lady was distracted and the needle hurt going in, and continued to hurt the whole time i was hooked up. Done with this thing. Good for the bonus, afterwards it takes much Time, and too many potential risks
Been donating for over a year, understand you are saving lives, Ok enough with the drama....as a business this place is great, it is clean, the staff knows what it is doing and you are always taken care of for the time you are there, This place has had a few bumpy times but after seeing it grow I believe it has really become a great place to donate and feel like you are in good hands. All of the staff is professional and knowledgeable, which always makes me feel safe. An extra shout out to your phlebotomist
the employees at this location are unbelievable. they are absolutely unprofessional. they are very incompetent. they stand around talking while making you wait then they continue to talk about donors personal medical issues. they are so slow. i was deferred after an employee was careless in the comission of their duties then try to cover it up by making up reasons to defer you, they gve you a $5 bonus when you donate again, that wont be happening for me. I have been doanting for over 3 yrs at vari
Tried to become donor and most everyone was nice but this nurse that was in charge, Maddie? She asks me a question when another nurse was already taking care of me. Guess she didn't like my answer cause she said "you can leave right now no one makes you do this". Do they want my plasma? Ifso they need to be less rude!!! If I go back and she is rude again I am done. 6/18- returned this week because my friends told me it got better. And it has. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, I was in and out in 65
No offense, they suck miscommunication false payment schedule. Staff actually In experience on blood drawn, bruising, on each arm Please I Advise Don't Waste Your Time & Effort Go To Another Donation Center Its Not Worth Your Health & Sanity!!!
Used to be a nice, pleasant, and timely process. Has steadily declined. Never enough open beds to accommodate donors, even though there is four rows of beds. Never enough trained personnel at all stations. Plenty of workers walking around, and standing around yapping while donors who just battled traffic to get there have to sit in the traffic of the donor center. Fairless Hills center is not improving at all, after all the promises. In fact it is getting progressively worse.
Was going to be a first time donor. Went there this morning and was told I had to make an appointment. No big deal. Made appointment and the nice lady working there told me I could show her my personal info required now so I didn't have to bring it later. Showed it to her and left Fast forward to my appointment and a ride little man barked that I had to show my info again. Tried to explain to him what had been said earlier and he basically accused me of lying and denied knowing the lady I had spoken to. I
Closing early on a Sunday when it's the last day of the week for donations....ridiculous! ***update: not enough staff to operate regularly. Stuck on a Sunday waiting 2 hours after close to be seen. Have not even gone back to donate yet. It just keeps getting worse!!
I don't normally complain but this place needs to get there stuff together. Not only did they change the amount of the fees you receive for first time donor without notifying you, they all don't know how there own system works and the employees all have different views on how the system works. . Today I go to donate for the 2nd time this week as i was told in order for your donations to be used you have to donate twice. I am there 2 hours and the nurse or whomever she is hits the wrong key on her computer
The new nurse (Katie) is great! Resolved any past issues and complaints with the donors (including myself). The staff has always been great as well. Highly recommend this place if anyone is looking to donate plasma for a great cause.
They are a scam. They promise 700 the first month, but I only got 240. The front desk rudely hung up on me when I asked the wrong questions.
They're very short-staffed now. They want you jump through hoops. And the compensation is not that great. You just lost a donor it's not worth that trouble I have to go through.
I love the staff. Carrie, Dara, Bri, Kim, Shyan...I've never had a bad tech. They stick your arm so well that you either BARELY feel it or don't at all. The whole team is so sweet to me. They know me by name and always have a smile and good attitude. Katie is the nurse I see most. She is a HOOT! Just a great team of people. I love it here. Go donate. The compensation is pretty great compared to other places like CSL too.
Staff is always very friendly and diligent to ensure a timely and safe experience. I have been coming since they opened about 15 months and would recomend it. Tax free money baby can't beat that
I don't understand how this place says it's open at 6:30am, but when I'm the first person here they're still not ready for donors. Wednesday I waited a half hour to be screened, but today I waited 31 minutes to be screened, just to have someone who came after me to be screened first. If a business opens at 6:30am, they should be ready to start the day at that time period. Give ppl an extra $10 or something for them having to wait on y?all behalf. I get it things happen, but just think some ppl come here bef
So in other words if I have an opinion about how they treated us am to keep my mouth shut right because it's amazing my comment disappeared from reviews what's the matter you hate to admit u were wrong treating us in a nasty way you leave al ot to be desired you treated us rotten yourstaff stinks
First time donors can expect to spend about 3 hours here since you need to take a quiz, watch videos, and get a physical done. After that it's quite smooth and simple for returning donors.
From the minute you walk through the door you are treated so nice. The entire process is explained to you in "stations"....meaning you go from one station to the next. You will get your vitals taken and answer some questions and move to each station. When you finish you will be educated about the benefits of donating plasma and then be ready to donate. The entire process is so pleasant because of some really excellent employees there. HUGE shout out to Jackie, Colby, Cathy, Dara, Cindy, Ally, Tim, Angel, Su
This company discriminates against the homeless/poor. I am a health 20 year old woman. I was permanently deferred because I changed my address 3 times without giving them a 30 day notice. 30 days ago I didn't even know where I was going to stay. Instead of lying and saying I lived at my old address I told them I had moved. And gave them proof. I had to jump through hoops when asked why was I deferred they said I gave them multiple envelopes with different address, that was a lie the mail all had the same ad
It was a great place to go unfortunately wage change stinks they use to give 150 for the first 4 times now it's only 100 it use to be 50 and 100 for first and second donation now it's only 45 and 75 it stinks they went down would have definitely gave a 5 star if it wasn't for the price change. There staff is probably one of the better staffs around highly recommended for the staff that work with you all the time some of the managers are stuck up.
Worst place EVER!!!.. Nosey for no reason..just got deferred only because when they asked about other places Ive been to .I accidentally forgot one and the date so I was deferred even though I was legitimately in the right to donate..not like I was trying to donate more then twice in one week or anything...waste of time and money ..never going here AGAIN!??
Never, never, never. Its beyond a waste of time and as low-brow as it gets. I literally went through 90 minutes of paperwork and prep, only to be told later that since I had general anesthesia 4 months before, that I was ineligible. (BTW, there is no reputable medical regulation that says you shouldn't be able to 4 months later. Plus, the "nurse" had no clue and took 15 minutes to look it up. Are you telling me no one who comes in has had a surgery before.) If you KNEW this regulation, why waste my tim
Ever since the staff has been reduced. The wait times have been truly horrific, and a complete turn off to the clients who want to do good by donating.
Do not go to this location. Management has ruined it through imcompetence
An amazing place that I am throughly enjoy donating plasma to for those who need help.
Very slow, there for hours every visit. Phlebs are poor stickers, stuck on machine almost an hour or more because of bad stick. Money is good tho, but makes you wonder if it's worth it in the end.
I always gone to this location never had a problem until one day some nurse or doctor had a mental breakdown or was mad that she was doing the hook up and instead of saying something to let everybody leave and go home no she had not just me but 4 other people sit here for more than 2 to 3 waiting around for her and then to get get called in the back to donate and to get ready, then to be told sorry the only nurse that can do the procedure she just left which is very unprofessional sitting down in the room
Just tried to go back for my second visit, but was told I needed mail with my name on it. (They didn't tell me that on my first visit.) So I went home and got the first piece of mail with my name on it and brought it back. Then they said that wasn't good enough because it didn't have a date on it. (They could have mentioned that before I went home to get the mail that wasn't goid enough for them.) Conclusion: they are trying to be worse than the DMV. If you want to donate plasma don't waste your time trying
They "say" it takes 45 min typically. It takes 30 min for me once the needle is inserted but the waiting to get to that point takes FORever. Not enough staffing and certain employees need to learn to be more timely.
I just went there today to donate. But I only received $5 out of the $125 they was supposed to give me on the prepaid debit card. Don't go here you will be waiting forever just to be screw for your time.
Not sure how long ago I actually went, but the person doing my initial testing pricked my finger WAY too hard for the centrifuge stick. Maybe she used too big of a blade? My mom also donates there and gets decent promotions for donating. Another issue is the wait to see someone. I don't know if they're understaffed or something, but it may help to have more nurses and doctors ready to speed things along. At least then, it'd only take 2 hours to complete (because blood and plasma has to be processed, and I t
I love coming here. Not only am I helping save a life, I get paid too, twice a week. The staff is great, kind, friendly and nice when I come in and greeted they know you by name.
Its so so . They are very slow there. They dont work together as a team . The head doctors will literally just be standing at the booth not doing anything while people are just laying there waiting to get hooked up on be put on. One time the light skinned black doctor accused me of smoking weed and i dont even smoke .All because he smelled it i told him smell me its not me and he never apologized . But they do have free wi fi . Kelly and the indian lady are the best ones they have there
The Fairless hills location is clean and has very friendly staff. The process is easy and you're taken care of by attentive techs and nurses. Great job!
Grifols is my favorite place to donate. I won't go anywhere else. Even after coming back after 3 years there's still some amazing people that I met years ago working here making a difference. All the staff are friendly and very attentive and helpful! Thank you Grifols !
I love this place, all the staff is warm and welcoming. And when you come a lot like I do, they get to know you and I like that.
Started donating plasma to help out my community and of course the 60$ a visit for new donors was a Big benefit.. to date i have gone 4 times in the month of nov 2017 and once in dec 2017 i recently stopped going to this donation center for three reasons. 1.the wait time even with an appointment is absolutely ridiculous. 2.the 5 times that i have gone there you can pick out the well experience stuff to the inexperienced staff and the staff who is under a year or under 6 months should diff be under a close
This place started off so effiecient, and now they plain suck. Every staff member aside from the phlebotomists are lazy, they stand around and do nothing but talk to each other then theylth perform about 1 vitals check or move a folder and try to give the impression that they're busy. This place is a no and I'm looking forward to not returning.
If I could give zero I would. After being there an hour I was denied twice. I was considering trying again but my bf went and was told he couldn't donate because he wasn't "hydrated" enough. Seems like they are EXTREMELY picky and waste your time. Some kind of compensation should be made after wasting people's time after waiting so long to be told no.
The place smells nice. But they didn't accept me because they said i lived too far from their facility... I would've love to know that before i drove there (50 mile limit)
I don't know why I keep coming here! The staff are so slow... They'll literally see a bunch of people waiting to be screened and just keep walking by. The management is a joke, no type of direction. I don't care how early you come, be prepared to stay at least another hour than expected.
It's a racist system. Biomat discriminates against Hispanics. I tried helping my neibord Kayla translating & they even refused using phone technology to self translate. All front whiere Staffs & an Indian bossy lady tried to interfere my kindly help. This place needs to be suit for discrimination, not our fault that their 2 speaking staffs not available today.
This place is the worst and they do not care about there donors at all. After speaking with someone who told me to be here at 2pm I get here at 5 minutes after and they refuse to see me. They nurse was very rude and sassy and told me that I should of gotten here earlier. Plus a friend of mine told me that they gave here a blood clot because they used the needle the wrong way smh. Warning to all stay away and just go somewhere else
I really enjoy donating at Biomat. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and the place is clean. I even won the raffle for the 55 inch hd rca television. The wait time is minimal and you get paid for your time. Recommended!
It's awesome every one is so nice , never had a problem , frendly staff easy too talk with, very clean place , they feel like family, would love too have a beer with any of them!
Clean facility and the staff is very friendly! I see so many bad reviews, but I personally have never had a bad experience and I think it's a great place to donate.
Chris,Mike,Gabby are awesome and the staff they trained I can really tell they all love there jobs no attitudes or disrespect at all .. I been to about 9 plasma centers in past 5 years and I swear as a group from top to bottom no one I mean no plasma center has it all together and love there jobs better than the mayslanding center if I had to complain about one thing it would be the pay compared to the other centers they pay more and I think that's out of those guys control but it's not about the money it's
Wonderful service!!! The employees make me laugh and feel good about giving to such a misfortunate situation. Very knowledgeable and the stab ur vein people really care. I love it and you get paid to sit n listen to music... #donate
My friends all go here and they give you good money. They have specials and on some months you can get up to $400. It can be time consuming but it seems to be worth it. I'm signing up next month and the person that referred me will get $100 after my third time donating. There's so many ways to get extra money??
The very small staff is very nice but be sure to PACK A LUNCH (literally) when you go because it'll take you 4+ hours to donate... Unless you're a new donor whereas it'll only take 3.5 hours. 7/29/17
So I've been going to the center for a month now and I understand that I don't have the greatest veins but the fact that they knew this and still didn't get a experienced sticker and I now I'm deferred for 56 days partially my fault for not allowing a return because I had to go to work and I couldn't wait but two who attended me need to know when they are over there heads and admit they don't have the experience to stick people with small veins
For some reason I can't pass iron or protein there but don't have any problems donating at CSLfor which I've donated over 97 times so far i went here 6 times and failed 3 out of the 6 times I don't drive so it was a waste of time and money for me I will not be returning
This site at Fairless Hills has a pleasant atmosphere and the technicians are very good! Always polite and attentive to the clients and I would highly recommend this facility. Thank you for what you do!
It's a clean and friendly environment to be the nurses are amazing the staff is so helpful iv been to other places that seem not to care ur just a number but here they care there very attentive as to if ur comfortable if u need anything why waiting to donate and as u are donating if I had to recommend somewhere to go it would be here hands down wen u walk in u don't feel like just another number waiting to be called
Grateful for the staff who made me uncomfortable during check-in as a new donor. I took that as a clear sign that I shouldn't be there and left immediately.
I wish I knew everyone's name here because from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave everyone who works here is extremely professional and friendly. They answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. Congratulations, you guys are AMAZING
Really have not been happy the last few visits entirely 2 slow and understaff there's no reason my last few visits took 3 hrs...hire more workers!!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
